  1. Rubid-din, is that where Kevin Sullivan climbed the thirteen steps of the thirteen pyramids and ate the cosmic cookie?
  2. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="njmcfreak" data-cite="njmcfreak" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47568" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Unfortunately, that isn't the case. Sgt. Slaughter retired to a backstage role and he's checked off for everything(Announcer, Colour, Personality, etc..), . I wanted him as a Road Agent and for about 8 months now he still says he intends to retire in peace.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Off the top of my head, and without checking the mod and worker settings, is it possible that the worker has been set to "left the business?" Otherwise, perhaps has been assigned the attribute "outside interests?" (Remember that attributes can be made hidden, so check the database editor, not the in-game editor).</p>
  3. It gives the worker exposure in another area (where they will gain pop), allows them to develop on another promotion's dime, will give them reset momentum when they go back influencing their perception.
  4. This is most likely because the worker doesn't have any assigned roles so the contract you are offering seems like an in-ring contract to them. Use the "talk to worker" feature and see if they will take on the role you wish them to and then proceed with negotiations.
  5. Use the side arrows over the worker's popularity window and you can cycle to contract and release.
  6. I believe it was requested that shows be numbered so users could see details of specific editions of television shows, as opposed to just something happening on "Total Wrestling." Now you have a sense of when in the chronology that particular segment took place Assuming your game is started and you're not on the avatar selection screen, use the bottom left arrow on the bottom button window.
  7. Posts in these stylings are not necessary. Warnings have been handed out where appropriate, let's all move on to the next thing and not retread covered ground.
  8. To add, suggestions stand best to be read in the suggestions forum.
  9. <p>To clarify a few things:</p><p> </p><p> I sent PM warnings to a few members for their posts here. This is not related to criticizing the game, everyone is entitled to their own opinions.</p><p> </p><p> That said, spam posting the same issue repeatedly is not going to change anything is coming off antagonistic to various members. </p><p> </p><p> The thread could very quickly spiral into personal attack for either liking/disliking the game. Keep it respectful to one another, understand the other side does not think like you do, and feel free to not engage with every poster who has a dissenting opinion. </p><p> </p><p> If members cannot follow forum rules, this thread will be locked and warnings/bans could be incoming. </p><p> </p><p> (Seriously, I'd rather not to do that...my save is getting interesting and I'd rather spend my night doing that than responding to several reported posts on both sides).</p>
  10. The time spent as a young lion losing should raise their overness. More of the audience is aware of this person, despite losing. Going on excursion and increasing your skill before coming back resets perception. Combining the previous pop gain and the subsequent skill growth + refreshed gimmick gives a whole new start. Placing a worker's redebut on a big card with an over opponent is totally doable and recreatable and should the worker on a solid path, especially if booked well and is performing.
  11. Not sure I'm totally understanding properly, so forgive me if I'm wrong, but seems like you are using a skin created for the beta. Any skin that was aligned to the beta will need to be revamped to match the changes to the UI that Adam implemented for the full release.
  12. Arlie only recently updated the mod settings allowing us to tag ourselves.
  13. As Teemu said, his last status update indicated he would confirm the release date. Yes, I know the target date is in 2 days but I'm going to close the thread to avoid idle speculation that may be misinterpreted at a later point.
  14. I am pretty confident that this is what I was thinking about. If the contract is longer than 3 months, I wouldn't call it a "touring" contract--its a significantly more substantial commitment.
  15. I am working on verifying, and freely admit I could be mis-remembering something, but I'm pretty sure that the cool down period for handshake agreements is different in this game (and maybe be even non-existent?).
  16. This has been brought up several times in both suggestions and during testing. Adam has said this is not viable for a host of reasons. Rather than let users spin their wheels on this thread, I'm going to lock it up here.
  17. I see the validity of this point but I don't think this type of scenario should stop a more predatory company from swooping in and signing up a touring worker mid-tour.
  18. Well I can't speak to those specific examples because there a lot of variables there... What regions are the workers set to? What is their pop in foreign countries? What is the starting pop and financial power of the company in question? How does stack up relative to their American counterparts? Lots and lots of variables....
  19. <p>I have played around with this extensively and I don't think touring contracts are necessary. Simply sign the type of deal you want (handshake or written, exclusive or not) for the duration that you see fit. If you want them for 2 weeks, then make the contract that long. </p><p> </p><p> If a worker is on a tour, and it's handshake, why wouldn't the leave the tour for a bigger money offer? </p><p> </p><p> IMO, it's working as intended.</p>
  20. Here's what I know (and it's usually not much! ) -Derek B is working on his CVerse '97 mod--its a great entry point to the world as HGC (soon to be TCW) just opened -There's been a 70's mod kicking around for years--I'm not sure if anyone plans on updating it... -I have seen threads from folks working on the '05 default and the '13 default and bringing those databases in line with 2020
  21. Alright, second time in a matter of hours that I'm back to reminding everyone to behave on this thread regrading the dojo issue. A post regarding changes was made in the Suggestions forum. If you have more to add (about how it would work), do it there. No need to go there to attack the request. I will add that it was also recently brought up in the tester's forum as well. Adam will process it when he gets to it and a decision will be made. Let's keep this thread focused and concentrate on the game, rather than each other. Not every post need a response, especially a snarky one. It's okay to have lots of preferences and features to accommodate all players.

  23. Alright, mod stepping up here. There are some legit points being brought up here, so here's what I propose: Post a suggestion in the Suggestions forum regarding worker generation and what you'd like to see done with it. Adam will look at it and go from there. Let's not let this descend into petty attacks from either side.
  24. I'm going to lock this thread as there doesn't really seem to be a reason for it. OP say's he doesn't like the bottom bar, others disagree.
  25. The death of Shaw Gonzales, Edd Stone falling out with the fam, Alex DeColt losing his mind, Alex DeColt and the affair, Doug Peak- global hardcore specialist, Texas Pete drinking his career away, Genghis Rahn....
