  1. <p>So I pulled back up my 1997 game. I thought I was just finishing January ... but apparently one night I decided to have some beverages and do some simming. Nothing too crazy ... but I do kind of have to redo some stories. </p><p> </p><p> I'm currently heading into Uncensored 1998 the 3rd week of March.</p><p> </p><p> Champions</p><p> WCW World: Bret Hart</p><p> WCW US: DDP</p><p> WCW Tag: DDP / Flair (The Horsemen)</p><p> WCW Cruiser: Malenko</p><p> </p><p> I was going to combine the TV and Cruiser titles into the Cruiser-X and build toward a X-division, but I apparently didn't follow all the way through and simply retired the TV title after Goldberg won it and immediately vacated it. </p><p> </p><p> Key Losses: </p><p> Buff Bagwell</p><p> Randy Savage</p><p> Hulk Hogan</p><p> </p><p> all apparently put in their notices and left during this stretch. </p><p> </p><p> on the plus side, my locker room moral is now at 90%</p><p> </p><p> Key Stables: </p><p> nWo: </p><p> Kevin Nash</p><p> Scott Hall</p><p> Sid Vicious</p><p> Booker T</p><p> Eric Bischoff (mouth piece)</p><p> </p><p> The Horsemen: </p><p> Ric Flair</p><p> DDP</p><p> Scott Steiner </p><p> Arn Anderson (Mouth piece)</p><p> </p><p> Raven's Flock</p><p> Raven</p><p> Edge (out injured)</p><p> (Christian) Cage</p><p> Christopher Daniels</p><p> </p><p> I need to find a Fourth horseman. I'm to 4 options. Bret, Goldberg, The Giant or Big Rig Ray Traylor. Goldberg could use the protection. The Giant could use something to do. And I have an owner goal to get Traylor to being 65 pop. Bret could work, because eventually Flair would become extremely jealous and catapult a story out of the grouping.</p><p> </p><p> Steiner is also injured with a neck problem until Dec, so he's VERY limited. </p><p> </p><p> Now that Hogan is gone, I do not have a real Heel threat to the title unless I start doing Nash or Sid. Hall has already had a title shot and a couple matches against Sting that he lost, so he's title cred is low. And Booker T isn't ready for World's title run, he'll most likely end up with the US title. </p><p> </p><p> The biggest Feud for the remainder of the year will probably be Sting vs Bret. So there is potential to turn one of them. I do kind of like Sting being the silent leader of the new nWo, and he speaks only with his bat (he's been playing the reluctant hero since winning the title, while Bret has been pure babyface). i'll have to pay him a ton to turn heel though as he won't want to give up his merch. It would allow the nWo a transition point until they're finally destroyed at War Games. </p><p> </p><p> The other options is to turn the Giant heel and have him go on a monster run (moving the World title away from the nWo/Horsemen angle) and allow Goldberg a monster to overcome for the title when I'm ready, potentially Starrcade ... but then you run into the problem of Bret v Sting being the biggest match ahead of the World title.</p><p> </p><p> I plan on moving the Tag titles off of DDP/Flair and get them away from the Horsemen/nWo angle as well. And eventually making Jericho the face of the Cruiser-X division. </p><p> </p><p> Also not to forget those that are in rehab:</p><p> Benoit: 3 months</p><p> Jericho 5 months</p><p> Guerrero: 4 months</p><p> Jacqueline Moore: 3 months</p><p> Luger is on vacation 9more days</p><p> Louie Spicolli 4 months</p><p> Orndorff 5 months</p><p> Raven 8 months</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Lesson learned. Don't drink and sim, kids ... though I still didn't do as wild as WCW actually did ... so, there is that.</p>

Heading toward Starrcade (which I decided to push back until December), and building toward a Dusty/Flair main event. In the lead up, I turned Arn, Tully and JJ Dillon face, and Lex was already turned face by the AI before I had taken over. So naturally, I reunited the Four Horsemen as babyfaces. The AI also made Ric Flair the company's figurehead. So with all that said...<p> </p><p> Who do I go with to win the big title match at the Granddaddy of Them All? Most people's natural decision would be to go with Flair as he's the man that the company is being built around and he can consistently get the best out of anyone. But on the flip side, Dusty hasn't been champion for very long, and I think to make him a strong heel, a good reign with some length to it would be in order, with Ol' Dusty dropping the belt sometime in the summer (most likely at Great American Bash). </p><p> </p><p> And if I go with Dusty, there are some programs I can run with other workers. Naturally, he could feud with Nikita Koloff with the premise of Nikita being disappointed with Dusty turning his back on everything he had taught the big Russian. Sting is coming along, so he could be a short term challenger to get him over without winning the title. Now as to who Dusty would eventually drop the belt to, I'm debating between Luger and Flair for that one. On the one hand, it would be fitting for Flair to win it so that he can get the title back from the man who took it from him. On the other hand, a Luger title win could get him over as a top guy, and I could always have him drop it to Flair, with Flair turning back to his villainous ways in the process.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I almost think you HAVE to go with a Dusty Finish ... but god, I'd hate that as a fan at the biggest show of the year. Unless you do the Dusty Finish at Starrcade to set up Flair taking the belt say at SuperBrawl or even GAB if you want to hold off that long.</p>
  3. I have seen the errors of my ways and working hard to make the proper adjustments. Please provide myself and my family some privacy while we work through this. Trying again::: when you start up a 1987 mod and realize you have a long way to go to catch the WWF.

  5. <p>Playing 2006 and instead of the spirit squad, I'm wanting to go Frat. </p><p> </p><p> I want them to be VKM </p><p> </p><p> There really isn't letter for V. upsilon maybe ... but I can hear Vince yelling "Give me a greek letter dammit!"</p><p> </p><p> So for VKM they would be <blank> Kappa Mu</p>

After all, the belts are ultimately meant to represent the strongest, most worthy champions at that moment. The very best of the best. And even if they are greater overall talents or more popular than the current champs, it could make perfect story sense that neither the Horsemen or n.W.o tag teamers are currently that championship caliber team. That because they are too hung up on each other they are incapable of fulfilling their true title potential while the champs you have are. However unlikely that might otherwise be.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> yeah, definitely. I'm going to have to get creative to get the belts from the Outsiders, but this definitely opens the story up. </p><p> </p><p> I don't want to get too carried away with triple threats to move titles, but something ridiculous like a tag team rumble might work. hahaha.</p>
  9. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="FankuKaibutsu" data-cite="FankuKaibutsu" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41193" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>You can keep Steiner in the Horsemen, just don't have him wrestle much, and when he does, have it be in 6 or 8 man tags. He can be involved in angles, and run-ins and stuff, and still feel like a contributing member of the faction while still minimizing his in-ring time. Heck, you can make an angle of it and have him go around in a neck brace for sympathy, then the nWo can get mad heat for taking it off when they beat him down.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I think something like that would work. I hadn't thought of making the angle out of the neckbrace. that could work. But yeah, otherwise, his stuff was going to be very limited. Luckily I was strictly planning for tag stuff, so if those matches tank a little, I'll be okay over all. </p><p> </p><p> I could even just move the tag belt out of the story entirely... Horsemen vs nWo doesn't really need them.</p>
  10. <p>So as I was working on the story for building my 1998 new Horsemen in WCW ... freakin' Buff Bagwell hurts Scott Steiner's neck. Scott can still wrestle but he's going to be bothered by the neck for a year <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/mad.png.69834f23b9a8bf290d98375f56f1c794.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> So, I was building the story that the Horsemen were looking for a 4th member ... they're currently a face group taking on the nWo and was going to be Flair, DDP and Steiner and someone else. </p><p> </p><p> I was having Booker T trying to join them (as he helped the team beat a nWo team at Starrcade after Benoit was sent to rehab) ... but they were going to pick someone else and Booker was going to join the nWo and make his big singles push as a heel. </p><p> </p><p> But now I need to figure out what to do with Steiner. He was going to chase the tag titles (as in Story the Outsiders "injured" Rick and took the belts from him) ... do I need to almost write the horsemen angle off and send Scott on vacation to heal or let him wrestle poorly or replace him.....<img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/confused.png.d4a8e6b6eab0c67698b911fb041c0ed1.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> in the story, I'm pushing Flair back to chasing the World title ... so he can make that chase without the Horsemen, and DDP is fine by himself</p>
  11. <p>Right as I get set to build a new Horsemen team in 1998 with Scott Steiner included freaking Buff Bagwell hurts Steiner's neck. Steiner can still wrestle but his neck is going to be messed up for a year. </p><p> </p><p> Welcome to being jobbed out Buff <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/mad.png.69834f23b9a8bf290d98375f56f1c794.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  12. That's great insight. I really like the Candido idea ... except he's under a written contract with ECW right now... same with Bam Bam. I could unmask Kanyon and bring him on as a tag partner with DDP and go that direction. but I'm thinking of doing DDP with the US title and doing an US open challenge. But I also thought about moving Flair to the tag team role like he was with Evolution. Story wise though, Scott will be wanting to go after the tag titles as the Outsiders and nWo "injured" Rick and they lost the titles. So, bringing in Rick maybe the simplest storyline wise. Then I could I do the blow off between Scott and Rick when I finally decide to turn Scott. I'm also clearing house with the nWo ... so guys like Savage, Hennig and Konan would be available as well... though Savage is really pissed and will probably go on vacation.
  13. Playing 1997 Montreal Aftermath. I'm rebuilding the Horsemen as a face group to counter the nWo. And as expected, Benoit shows up wasted on pain killers, so he's been sent to rehab. That leaves a massive hole in the Horsemen. I'm currently going with Flair, DDP and Scott Steiner with Arn as a mouth piece. But wondering who should fill that final spot. I've thought about going the easy route and doing Goldberg. But also though about maybe Booker T and giving him a good single's run. But I also thought about turning him heel too.... other thoughts are Luger or the Giant ... Luger is annoying, he's going to get himself fired soon probably and I don't know if the Giant fits the Horsemen. But he'd obviously be a good enforcer. I also got a owner goal to get Ray Traylor over as well ... but I've got him tagging with Mike Awesome.
  14. I always like to err on the side of underselling popularity. Since it can be so subjective. And I personally don't always like seeing just a ton of 100s in my shows for various segments.
  15. Restarted 1997 Post Montreal because reasons. I went into Starrcade with the ideas of: * Shakeup the nWo there are too many people in the nWo. I decide to shake up the bottom rungs of the group by having them challenge a newly formed Horsemen at Starrcade. Following a defeat at the hands of the horsemen, Konnan, Savage, Buff and Scott Norton are kicked out. And after losing the US title to DDP, Curt Hennig is kicked out. Also at Starrcade, the tag title match between the outsiders and luger/giant is interrupted by a masked giant. This leaves Hogan, Hall, Nash and the masked giant as active members of the nWo. Hall and Nash give Hogan and ultimatum as he vows to reclaim the title after losing it to Sting at Starrcade. * Rebuild the Horsemen Rebuilding the Horsemen is always a good idea. I had the nWo attacked Rick Steiner and Stevie Ray putting them on the shelf. Arn and Benoit convince Flair that the war against the nWo is a call to arms for the Horsemen. Scott Steiner and Booker T are included. (so at this point it's Benoit, Flair, Steiner, Booker with Arn as an additional spokesman.) They defeat the aforementioned nWo team at Starrcade, and celebrate. nWo gets their revenge by attacking Benoit (*cough*rehab*cough*). Arn leads a search for a new enforcer for the Horsemen (It'll probably be Goldberg unless I can think of someone else to go get.) * Bret Hart as the lone wolf Bret is a stranger in a foreign land. It was always weird to see Bret in WCW, so trying to find a way to play off of that. He's brought in and will officiate the match between Hogan/Sting. His desire to hold the belt is obvious, and he reluctantly gives Sting the title after the Stinger beats Hogan. * Sting as the reluctant hero After a year long build, Sting arrives to be the hero of WCW ... however, Sting hasn't forgotten how he was turned on. He defeats Hogan at Starrcade, but Roddy Piper's attempts to push Sting back into the spotlight of WCW are met with silence or absences as the champion prepares for what is next. *Goldberg's streak The streak is still intact but he is starting to some competition from Raven's flock. So I'm basically having Raven mock Goldberg while he destroys members of the Flock. This builds to a match at Starrcade again Saturn for the TV title ... Goldberg wins and immediately vacates, which leads to the retirement of the TV belt. --------- What's next? The nWo is reunified with four members. Hogan, Hall and Nash. The masked giant turns out to be Sid. Hogan (who's contract is up in June) begins to show that he's losing his grip on the group. I'm going to build a separation, but only in the sense that Hogan is exiled. so, all of that about Sting being the reluctant hero has pushed him away from everyone still, while Bret has started to build relationships with Luger, the Giant and even Flair. Sting is obviously jealous of this and leads to their big showdown, probably at GAB. My only wonder is if I leave Sting as the loner face or do I turn him, and put him in charge of the redone nWo with Hall, Nash and Sid (and probably Syxx as he'll be healthy by then). It could be very Bullet Club-ish with Sting as the Boss, Sid the bodyguard type, Hall/Nash as the tag team, and Syxx as the midcarder. Sting would remain mostly silent speaking usually with just his bat to try and hang on to this mystic for a little while longer. DDP has started his own US Open Challenge. A new competitor looks to inject himself. Kurt Angle was signed to "officiate" (even after DDP loses the belt, Kurt continues to "officiate" the matches referring to them as the Kurt Angle Invitational US Open Challenge) the open until it's time to put him in the ring . At which point, I think I might let Kurt take down Luger's record for longest reign (523 days:confused:).
  16. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Defmall" data-cite="Defmall" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Just completed 1994 Starcade (WCW)<p> Highlights of the event include:</p><p> </p><p> World Champion Hulk Hogan, with Mr T in his corner, successfully defended against Vader...despite the interference from Kevin Sullivan and a SECOND Vader! 17. <p>Playing Montreal Aftermath. </p><p> </p><p> Just had some fun heading into the summer of 1998. </p><p> </p><p> First, Ted Turner decided that he only wants athletic people to join WCW. Giving me a goal to not sign anyone under 53 athletic ability. This isn't too bad, as many guys are in the mid 50s. But available guys like Sid and Warrior can't be signed. And ..... Hogan is under 50. I decided I would just run on the string and let him go following the contract. There were no hard feelings about his departure, and WWF didn't offer him a contract yet. So, it could be a plan to bring him back at some point.</p><p> </p><p> Though my favorite part of this was building up Bret as well. I wanted Bret to chase the belt a little. He failed initially to take the belt from Hogan, but in a "Loser Leaves Town Cage Match" at Slamboree, Bret was able to be victorious. The fun thing was I picked Bret to win, and Hogan was going to complain, but Bret convinced him "by cracking his knuckles" to go along with it. </p><p> </p><p> So right now Bret is my World's Champion, Goldberg just got the US title (but is running out of opponents), Hall and Nash are Tag champions, but the nWo is in shambles and Hall and Nash aren't on the same page. I redid the cruiser division into the Cruiser-X division to give it some evolution ability into the X-Division, Rey Mysterio is currently champion after having to Vacate it because Eddie can't be trusted yet with a major belt. </p><p> </p><p> Other fun is building a face Horsemen team of Flair, Booker, Giant and DDP. I'm going to let this run a bit before Flair turns on the group, because Flair has to turn on someone, if not everyone. </p><p> </p><p> I also created a sub-brand called WCW Heritage. This is my NXT. Jake Steele (Val Venis) is currently champion. With the Hardy Boyz as the Heritage Tag champions. It runs it's shows on WCW Heritage Saturday Night</p>
  18. <p>Just finished WrestleWar '92. The War Games match was okay (not as good as real life because brawl based and a couple of guys couldn't handle that and Eaton was slowed by an injury). All in All a good show, I was excited to move forward ......................</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> F'ing Rick Steiner blows the whistle on steroid abuse. </p><p> </p><p> The whole locker room hates him. Scott and Rick now in family feud. And my big tag team run with the Steiners vs Miracle Violence Connection is toast. My prestige plummets. I fire him and the backstage celebrates (go from 51% back to 100%). </p><p> </p><p> Oy vey. Here's to 10 months of fighting through this scandal.</p>
  19. Started up a 1992 game for Eye of the Storm. Loving it. Playing WCW has Heyman. Champions: World's Heavyweight: Vader US Heavyweight: Rick Rude World Cruiser-X: Jushin Thunder Liger World Heritage: Steve Austin World Tag Team: Arn Anderson / Beautiful Bobby Starting out with Dangerous Alliance vs Sting's Squadron as the main feud. Sting and Rude is the biggest. This isn't about the US title, this is just Sting wanting to bring down the Alliance. The rest of the Alliance is squaring up against other Sting Friends. Austin/Windham for the newly created Heritage title. Simmons/Zbysko. Anderson-Eaton/Dustin-Steamboat. Lots of good interactions. Lots of fun to mix and match until the build to WrestleWar '92 for the big War Games match. I put the World title on Vader. I wanted to push him to the moon quickly. In a fun little feud to get things rolling, Vader is facing Pillman. Flyin' Bryan is playing underdog babyface. Vader squashed Pillman in the finals of the title tournament. Then Pillman takes Vader 20 minutes at Superbrawl. Then he gets the pinfall win in a tag match. Blow off at Wrestlewar to build Vader as the super monster heel champion. Signing Bret Hart. At the start, Hart is available to pluck away from WWF. Please, and thank you. He comes in, and I start him in a feud teaming with brother Owen against Rick Martel, Meng and Woman. Good little introduction feud for Hart. Segments and matches are all good. He'll move on to face Rude one WrestleWar is completed. Cruiser-X. I wanted to redo the cruiser division. I didn't want to "pigeon hole" guys based on size. And figured Heyman would love to connect to that 18-34 demo, so created the Cruiser-X. Generally going to be smaller guys, but it's going to be more of an X-Division style. The X right now is going to be geared more toward Generation X, and then progress to simply being the X-Division as it goes on. Liger is the current champion, but I have Tiger Mask, Black Mask (Eddie), Dean Malenko and Owen Hart as the main guys at the moment. But am aiming to expand starting in '93 (if I actually stick with something that long). Steiners vs the Miracle Violence Connection My favorite tag team from my childhood versus the team with the greatest name. I'm eventually going to move the titles down to this feud to help it out, since the DA/Sting feud doesn't really need them. But just throw them in the ring, give them 15 minutes and enjoy. The shows have been getting good results. Getting mid-80s generally. They're real problem is they just don't have the top end talent. WWF has Hogan, Macho, Flair and Piper ... but WCW has some potential. It's very 1995-96 WWF in a way. They just need to put in the effort to get the guys over, and in a year or so, the top of the card will be Sting, Rude, Vader, Austin, Pillman, Hart along with hopefully resigning Flair. That's a nice top of the card.
  20. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="MinimiMax" data-cite="MinimiMax" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41193" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>So I just came up with a pretty dumb idea that might work to some extend. I'm pretty bored at booking Superstars and Main Event every week and need something to keep it fresh. So I'm going to get rid of them and replace them with a new kind of a show. It's gonna be a (hopefully) Netflix show that's kind of a mix of a talk show and a wrestling show. There will be a host that will interview a couple of guys who will then wrestle a match. I'm thinking of even creating a venue for this so it'll always be held in the same "studio". Am I crazy or what?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I was actually coming in here today to talk about just this idea. I was watching some old World Championship Wrestling, and there was something great about their little set, the wrestlers coming out and just spitballing for 2 to 5 minutes. </p><p> </p><p> So, in sitting down with 1994 WCW, I was thinking of a couple of ways to implement this. I'll have Schiavone and Mean Gene hold scheduled interview sections during the Monday Nitro when it eventually debuts on a little set similar to the old World Championship Wrestling show, but also debut a SportsCenter type show (as opposed of the Tuesday Night Titans style). It'll have a couple anchors, a couple of reporters and then a couple of quick "house show" matches. </p><p> </p><p> The problem will be that the wrestling industry is so bad to start of with in 1994, that it might not survive hahah.</p>
  21. <p>Playing 1994 WCW: </p><p> </p><p> Champions as of November 1994: </p><p> WCW World Heavyweight: Ric Flair</p><p> WCW US Heavyweight: Sting</p><p> WCW World Tag Team: The Steiner Brothers</p><p> WCW World TV Title: Meng</p><p> </p><p> I got into reading the Wrestling Observer Rewinds on Wreddit and then diving into them myself. So, I kind of wanted to do the opposite of everything Meltzer said WCW was doing wrong. This included a focus on production and live events. $$$$ (Thanks, Ted). </p><p> </p><p> That also means slow burning Hogan vs Flair. To try and get any heel heat on Flair, Ruc says that Hogan has to start at the back of the line with everyone else. Hogan, in pure babyface form, says he'll do whatever it takes. Not sure if that would actually work, but the segments were great. </p><p> </p><p> Flair also calls the Horsemen to Arms and Arn turns Heel and is joined by Steve Austin and Dustin Rhodes. This builds some extra heat for Flair as Dustin turns on Dusty. At this point, the idea would be if people won't hate Ric for going against Hogan, they'll hate him for having Dustin turn on Dusty. </p><p> </p><p> In the middle of October, Savage joins Hogan and they have a once-in-a-life-time match against Arn and Flair at the Pepsi Center in Denver. 5*/100 rating (despite Flair being high on drugs ... -_____-). It's about this time that WCW is really finding their sea legs with their story telling. </p><p> </p><p> It's at this point, WCW is finding their sea legs. They've thrown tons of money at production and live events. The arrival of Savage has helped the Hogan angle and the newly debuted Monday Nitro see steady 90 ratings without giving away major future matches. </p><p> </p><p> The US title Feud intensifies:</p><p> Ricky Steamboat defeated Steve Austin for the US title and the two are in a massive feud following the win. The feud is "over" but Austin won't let it go as he wants to get his title back. Back and forth we go until a Fatal Four way is announced for Halloween Havoc between Vader vs Sting vs Steamboat vs Austin ... ... ... </p><p> </p><p> poor Steve. Sting wins the title and in the rare circumstance, we have the heel chasing the title. Rumors as this is setting up Austin vs Sting at Starrcade. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> The Tag Title Scene</p><p> The tag team scene is really finding their footing too. Steven Regal and HHH have incredible chemistry and EVERYONE hates them. They've yet to be in a straight match against the Steiners .. rumors are this is planned for Starrcade. Harlem Heat is in a massive feud with the Nasty Boys, but Jerry Sags tore a pectoral, and is out for 2 months. They might not be ready for the planned Street Fight come Starrcade. </p><p> </p><p> The TV title Scene</p><p> DDP won the TV title had has put the title up as much as he can. However, the amount of surprise wrestlers showing up and everything have caused him to become paranoid. This led him to hire Meng to be his special enforcer. Meng accepts, but eventually costs DDP a match and attacks him afterward. DDP vs Meng vs Big Rig Ray Traylor at Halloween Havoc sees Meng win the title. Rumors are they're giving DDP some time off, he'll show up at Starrcade wanting a rematch with Meng. </p><p> </p><p> Note: I love this because Meng needs some love, I may just let Meng have the tv title forever. Plus this lets me get an early start on moving DDP into the people's champion role.</p>
  22. <p>Playing 2001: New Blood. I started out as Mark Cuban looking to get into the wrestling business, and bringing the sport back home to North Texas. In this world, Cuban and a group of investors have redone the historic Sportatorium, and in conjunction with debut of his new network HDNet, bought the rights to WCW and ECW. </p><p> </p><p> After extensive lawyer battles, renegotiation, and payouts to many of the WCW employees. The contracts were realigned to more manageable levels (Goldberg and Sting makes the most at $150k, most other main events make between 75-100k a month). So in theory, Time Warner/Turner will be paying most of the contracts and other contract law mumbo-jumbo. </p><p> </p><p> With that it was time to debut World Class Pro Wrestling. </p><p> </p><p> Champions:</p><p> WCPW World's Heavyweight: Goldberg (defeated Steiner, Sting and RVD to unify WCW and ECW world titles at Wrestlepalooza)</p><p> WCPW United States: Diamond Dallas Page (Unified WCW US and ECW TV titles after defeating Booker T, Shane Douglas and Rhino at Wrestlepalooza).</p><p> WCPW Cruiserweight: Chavo </p><p> WCPW World Tag Team: Natural Born Thrillers (Palumbo and O'Haire defeated Sandman/Tommy Dreamer to unify WCW and ECW tag titles.)</p><p> </p><p> Notable Notes: </p><p> RVD has been enjoying the "backstage benefits" and is now a muscular middleweight with 94 star quality. His pop is only 51, so I've got some building to do, but he'll be a mega star for sure. </p><p> </p><p> Ric Flair finally let Bischoff have it by beating him up backstage. I had to suspend Flair, but I'm sure there was a thank you thrown in there by some. </p><p> </p><p> Goldberg is my figurehead. Obvs. I plan on keeping the belt on him for a while, maybe even a full year or more ... most likely will have a heel turn at some point where RVD becomes the underdog to finally defeat him.</p><p> </p><p> DDP US Open Challenge. I loved Cena's open challenge, so in an attempt to bring the US title back, I'm doing something similar with DDP. It's fun and fills a good 20-30 minutes of a show. </p><p> </p><p> Not enough faces. I have a lot of bad guys and not many good guys. brought Mike Awesome back in as a face, Jushin Thunder Liger for a stretch (freelancer) and was able to steal R-Truth from WWF. </p><p> </p><p> Keeping the Nitro brand. I chose to keep Monday Nitro and continue to go head-to-head with Raw. My product is more performance based with Traditional/Mainstream at Heavy and Cult, Modern, Realism at medium. </p><p> </p><p> WCPW Slamboree</p><p> At Slamboree, we had the semi-final and final of the #1 contender tournament. However, since the Dustin Rhodes/Jeff Jarrett qualifying match ended in a double count-out, they opened the show. Double J wasn't thrilled about needing to win 3 times in one night. So, he cheated in all three matches defeating Rhodes, Mysterio and Sting. </p><p> </p><p> Goldberg and Steiner had their clash. Not a bad match, as it got a 78. It was actually probably too long even at 14 minutes (Steiner I imagine would have stayed away from Goldberg a lot to get into his head). </p><p> </p><p> Then to close the show Jarrett decided to try and hit Goldberg with a guitar ... which didn't end up well for him. </p><p> </p><p> The next night on Nitro, Bischoff reprimanded Double J for cheating all night, and forced him to rematch with Sting. If he cheated, he'd lose his #1 contender-ship. He managed to win, setting up the battle with Goldberg. </p><p> </p><p> So, now we're heading toward The Great American Bash in just a matter of weeks ... now I just have to figure out something else for everyone to do.</p>
  23. <p><span>http://i1284.photobucket.com/albums/a573/Ashley_Menzies/Capture_zpsiv82vxjt.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> Oh Bret. (and he improved his behavior afterward though)</p>
  24. when you try to have Flair go over Hogan, but Hulkster blocks it .... so you wait 30 minutes to see if he'll change his mind:o
