Any games started before this fix will have issues.</p><p> </p><p> I’ve played the same game now pre and post this fix to momentum and there’s a stark difference with three out of five of my Major Stars dropping to Star that don’t happen second time around.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Oh cool, wasn't aware that some fixes wouldn't apply to pre-existing saves and that's very likely the problem - I didn't notice at the time but Valiant also dropped to Well Known after beating Rogue. I'm not 100% sure which patch I started this save on as I've been installing each new one but I would have guessed Patch #6.</p><p> </p><p> I like this save so I'm going to screenshot all of my shows & rebook them assuming I buy the game on official release. Until then I'm just going to mess around with different scenarios.</p>
  2. I feel like I'm doing something wrong despite getting decent show grades (averaging 81 with SWF, just about keeping CANN happy which I'm happy with considering their current state). I can't seem to get wrestler pushes right at all. Just ran Nothing To Lose; one match was Randy vs Joey Morgan in a hot storyline. Both are Well Known, Randy had 69 pop, Joey 70. Morgan won the match, match rated 80 so happy days. Next day I'm reviewing the roster and Randy has dropped to 62 pop and Joey didn't gain anything. In the semi-main event I had The Crippler vs Angry Gilmore. Both stars, Crippler at 72 pop, Gilmore at 75 or 76. Crippler got a tainted win after interference, gained no pop but Gilmore dropped to 69 & perception back to Well Known. Mikey Lau vs Brandon James in a cage match. Lau is a Star at 74 pop, James is Well Known at 68. James wins, tainted with interference again, gains no pop or perception. Lau drops to well known and another huge pop drop to 66. Even if I give Mikey the win back, I'd imagine James doesn't have the pop to elevate him back to where he was? If I have Randy beat Morgan will Morgan's pop plummet? I know tainted wins are supposed to reduce gains but are they not giving any pop increases at all while still giving full losses? I have no idea what went wrong with Randy Unleashed, that looks like a huge drop to me. I also had Valiant (72) vs Rogue (77), Valiant won clean & went to 76 pop while Rogue dropped to 72. It's more in line with what I would have expected because I didn't keep Rogue strong.
  3. Sorry, I meant 4 matches in two weeks - I'm doing 1 episode of Supremacy & 1 episode of Uprising as a B Show plus there was the PPV but I didn't book him for that. I used him as my example based on the news item but I've got loads of wrestlers complaining of fatigue. Another one is Bear Bekowski, he's had two matches so far and it says he has very low levels of fatigue which I'm pretty sure means he'll say he's tired if I book him in tonight's Supremacy. I also got the same complaint from Matty Faith & Masked Patriot so the next show I gave them a three minute promo. Show ends and they again say they need a rest. I'll turn off the Monday house show and see if that helps, just thought it was very early to have fatigued wrestlers.
  4. I just noticed that the description for the North American Championship says that it's thought of as a "proving ground for potential World Champions and a significant number of recent holders have gone on to win the main strap". The most recent NA Champion to be win the big one is Angry Gilmore who was last the North American champion in 2013. So in those 7 years not one North American Champion has managed to make the leap yet. Of all the champions since Gilmore, who is most likely for you to make World Champion?
  5. Do House Shows affect worker fatigue? I set up a B show for SWF and by the end of the first week had workers, young and old, complaining of fatigue. I even got a news article about veterans thinking American Machine needs a break - he's had 4 matches, 3 of which were tags. I never once had an issue like this in 2016 despite similar schedules so just wondering if something has changed?
  6. Something that I find very annoying when booking shows is the removal of the quick filter for match types. In 2016 it was so handy being able to click on the quick filter & then scroll through the various match types while seeing their details on the same screen. In this game to scroll through match types we have to click search, choose the match type, click search again. Then click through individually (I'm aware this bit at least is likely to be fixed) but even then you still have to click on "View Full Match Details" to see what the rules, set-up, finishes, content & injury risk are. And then to make things even worse, when you next go to book a match it has stored the search so you have to click search, reset & search again just to go back to the basic match types. I get that the new system doesn't open a new window, and if you decide to change the stipulation halfway through booking you don't need to delete it & start a new one which I expect to be a good time saver. But if you don't know the exact match type you want to book then the amount of clicks required to figure it out is insane compared to the old method.
  7. In the worker skills tab next to "compare these skills to those of..." would it be possible to add a box to tick that automatically filters the available comparisons to workers employed within the same company?
  8. I assume it's been mentioned but surely "The lack of anything interesting happening in this segment was a problem" isn't working as intended? I take it it's cos both people are rated on Overness but an attack angle with Scythe attacking Rocky Golden (who takes a stunt bump) sounds like something interesting to me <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/confused.png.d4a8e6b6eab0c67698b911fb041c0ed1.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
  9. Just to add onto this - the ability to filter by disposition & role when assigning people to angles. This was very useful in previous games
  10. When booking an angle is there anyway to filter like in 2016? i.e. face/heel, role
  11. The contracts screen within a company is impossible to look at; it's unreadable at best, seizure-inducing at worst. I've not played much, just looking around it reading bios & stuff but I can't see myself getting used to this. I will say that I love the skills comparison feature but I don't like the skills page either. I've used the same number-grade combo image since 2013 and looking at a side-by-side comparison, TEW 2016 looks so much more user-friendly. The old game you could get an idea for how good someone was at a glance. The new one has the exact same colour used from 40-69, 70-84. You have to look at every skill individually just to see what someone is like, and that's with scouting off.
  12. <p>"Stop pushing T-Rex!"</p><p> </p><p> "We know that's Big Smack Scott under the mask, how stupid do you think we are?"</p><p> </p><p> "The Force main eventing Independence Day Slam; what year is it?"</p><p> </p><p> "Turn Champion heel"</p>
  13. <p>^^^ That sounds like a great save, should be a good challenge.</p><p> </p><p> I recently got back into TEW after about a year away, picked up on my old USPW save. I finally got to book my long planned Independence Day Slam 2017; highlights being </p><p> </p><p> > A Loser Leaves Town Match where Jay Chord beat James Justice (who opted to join SWF than stay with me, a move that paid off as he just beat Eric Eisen for their World title at Let The Games Begin)</p><p> > 2/3 Falls match between Steve Frehley & Sean McFly with Frehley shaking McFly's hand after winning to turn face</p><p> > Wolf Hawkins debuted to team with Nicky Champion against Enygma & Marat Khoklov</p><p> > My main event was The Force beating Rich Money to become the new World Champion.</p><p> </p><p> I noticed The Force improving towards the end of 2016 & decided to try booking him to the main event of the biggest show as a throwback to him being the original USPW star; he's now stupidly popular across North America, is capable of having really good matches & kills it on promos despite not being the best.</p><p> </p><p> I've mentioned here back when I last played this save that I had Alicia Strong leading a faction of 2nd/3rd generation stars to take what she believes should have been hers, USPW itself and she's now a good bit of the way there as her APEX stable are dominating my shows. Wolf Hawkins joined APEX at the following PPV when Alicia helped him beat The Force for the title; Jay Chord is my National Champion after he defeated Idol Stardust (Jefferson Stardust) & 'injured' Idol who has gone to shoot a movie; CV-2 are Tag Team Champions & Alicia is Women's Champion. Alicia's pop ranges between 81 & 88 in America and her feud with Melody has been massive in elevating both of them and the title which is now at 85 prestige. The other members are Matthew Keith & Robin DaLay, I could easily push Keith to the main event now if I chose & I'd hope that DaLay can get there in a couple years.</p><p> </p><p> I've also been lucky with Time Decline as Enygma & Sean McFly are the only ones in decline from my Upper Mid - Main but that hasn't stopped me from giving Enygma a World Title reign & McFly vs Frehley was my only A rated match at IDS 2017.</p><p> </p><p> In terms of hiring & pushes I'm trying to stay as true to USPW as I can. Stardust is the only lightweight that has been pushed & that's because he got ripped. Once I saw he got a movie role I had no choice but to get behind him more too. I'm even a bit annoyed with myself for how many Middleweights I have in the top half of the card but at least there's a precedent for that in USPW with Enygma.</p><p> </p><p> I'm refusing to drain pop from people I'm letting go (hence the James Justice world title win) but they are going out on their back. And I'm not just blowing everyone out of the water for signings either which has made for what I believe to be a really fun gameworld</p><p> > SOTBPW kept Champagne Lover & signed a main event level Frederique Garcia, Remo & Valiant.</p><p> > SWF signed then-TCW World Champion Aaron Andrews, James Justice, Petr Novak (who I had no choice but to fire for roids), Rocky Golden, Tim Westybrook & Wade Orson (I was very annoyed at that one).</p><p> > TCW have obviously been raided by myself & SWF & while still National are beginning to struggle without Golden. One person they did sign however is Spencer Spade who I hope they can build. In fact if I ever get bored of my USPW I think this would be a great scenario to take over as Bryan Vessey, RDJ & Sammy Bach are very popular & they have an interesting lower card with Lassana Makutsi, Greg Black, Spade, Rudy Velasquez & Donte Dunn. Another problem they have is Benny Benson is a main eventer but is only on a PPA deal working with 4C and is constantly loaned to COTT companies.</p><p> > 21CW are in serious debt and are open to a takeover should I want to.</p><p> > NOTBPW have lost a few but signed Tyson Baine from me. Also I love their Women's division as Brooke Tyler is great & they've signed Emma Bitch, Jaime Quine, Nadia Snow & Zoe Ammis. I did manage to steal Lauren Easter though.</p><p> > CGC were doing ok with Marc DuBois as World Champion but he left to be a jobber for Burning Hammer. Gargantuan is champ now but things are looking really bad for them as a bunch of people are PPA incl. Gargantuan. And it just got even worse as Jack DeColt broke his neck in the Last Man Standing battle royale.</p><p> > Not a whole lot to report in Japan except Greg Gauge joined Burning Hammer & is now a main eventer for them but Pride are currently winning their battle.</p>
  14. <p>Apologies for the double post but hoping for some advice. Playing as USPW in the CVerse, it's 2017 and about 4 & a half months from Independence Day Slam. I am just about to debut a new stable led by Alicia Strong featuring Jay Chord, Matthew Keith, Valentine & Vessey (for now they're likely to be called APEX). Alicia is using her stable of generational stars to take back what she believes is rightfully hers, USPW itself. The main part of this will be targeting Nicky Champion whom she says her father betrayed her legacy & family name to push as the figurehead.</p><p> </p><p> The bit I'm in two minds with is the recent signing of Wolf Hawkins who I have yet to debut. I'm going to eventually bring Hawkins into APEX as Alicia's boyfriend/secret husband as I want to have Champion vs Hawkins as the main event of IDS 2018. What I don't know is whether to debut him as a face or a heel. I'd like to have him come in and side with Champion for a tag team match at IDS 2017, possibly against Frehley &/or Khoklov. I also want him to turn heel soon after to win the World title and join up with Alicia but I'm afraid it might be too soon for the game to let me do it without penalising the turn. I don't know how bad the result would be if I turn him to soon so I've been hesitant to debut him so far. So do I:</p><p> </p><p> 1. Debut face, tag with Nicky, win the title as a face & turn whenever the time is right in-game putting his role in APEX at risk.</p><p> 2. Debut face, tag with Nicky, swallow the penalty for turning early and win the title.</p><p> 3. Debut heel, tag with Nicky anyway.</p><p> 4. Don't debut him until IDS 2017 where he's Nicky's surprise partner, take the match penalty for wrong alignment then win the title in his second match.</p>

John Cena currently is the champion and Kevin Steen is Mr. Money in the Bank (He can cash in on any title he's eligible for but for now he's going for the TV championship). I want to build up to the formation of Evolution since I have all four members signed so I was thinking it'd be a good idea for Randy Orton to win the championship here.<p> </p><p> Here is the problem more specifically:</p><p> The current plan is Cena vs Orton with Steen cashing in after the match. Who should walk out with the TV championship? I'd love to have Orton walk out with the title but I don't want the first MITB cash in of this save to be a failure either. Orton vs Steen will feud going into 2003 regardless of the finish.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> You might have booked this already but whatever you do don't have the cash-in be a failure would be my advice. It needs to be successful early on for people to treat the Money in the Bank as a big deal and someone losing straight away would undermine this. If it were me I'd have Steen cash in on whatever other title he's eligible for (assuming this is another midcard title) earlier in the night as a bit of a swerve and then begin the Champion vs Champion feud with Orton the next night. This can be done to unify the titles if you want, or one could cost the other their belt & they just feud over the one remaining or the winner can go on to defend both separately.</p>
  16. <p>'Team Canada' in USPW sounds very right to me. If it's an invasion storyline: The Northern/Maple Leaf Invasion?</p><p> </p><p> It's January 2017 & I've signed myself into a booking problem as loads of external contracts came up within a few weeks of each other and I now have Jay Chord, Matthew Keith, Shooter Sean Deeley & Wolf Hawkins all joining USPW within 2 weeks of each other.</p><p> </p><p> I had initially planned a Generational stable consisting of Chord, Keith, Casey Valentine, Cameron Vessey (recently joined), Robin DaLay (in development), Greg Gauge & possibly George Wolfe (can each be signed at any time). This stable would be led by Alicia Strong and be her attempt at taking back what is rightfully hers, USPW itself. Alternatively the 4 new signings can debut together as an NwO type stable before expanding but I like the Alicia Strong angle.</p><p> </p><p> So assuming I go with the as yet unnamed Generational Stable I have nothing planned for Hawkins or Deeley? A little background info; Marat Khoklov is current World Champion but he'll be losing to a soon-to-be-heel Enygma in a month. I'm keeping Nicky Champion away from the belt until Independence Day Slam, he's been helping Running Wolf and just joined up with The Force & Ross Henry to fight MoneyClub (Rich Money, Casey Valentine & Julius Moor). Once Valentine reunites with Vessey this stable either needs new members or will end. Other main eventers are Steve Frehley (heel), James Justice & Sean McFly (both face).</p><p> </p><p> Any ideas and stable name suggestions would be much appreciated.</p>
  17. I like actively pushing Time Decline wrestlers, I feel like 2016's higher emphasis on star quality in National Battles was done to address this immediate dumping of old wrestlers that happened in previous games. I plan on giving James Justice another title run despite being years into decline, would like to do the same with Sean McFly but he might not get over enough.
  18. <p>They've had 6 shows so far this year and this is already PGHW's top 10 matches of 2017</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="09H.png" data-src="https://i.img.ie/09H.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  19. <p>I've always been fascinated by Big Smack Scott, he seems like so much fun to write for and a really entertaining midcarder with a good tag team all the while being pretty unmanageable backstage. </p><p> </p><p> In my 2016 SWF game the Pain Alliance won the tag titles at Nothing to Lose and on the following episode I got an incident involving Big Smack & Kurt Laramee; Scott swung a punch at Laramee but ended up getting beat up. All I could picture now was my tag champions hating each other and Scott hating me, causing more problems and eventually forcing me to fire him which has happened every SWF game I've played.</p><p> </p><p> I gave him a stern warning and amazingly it worked. Scott improved his behaviour, got a morale boost and isn't even a negative influence on my backstage report. If he keeps this up I may be tempted to give him a big push, especially since Laramee is in Time Decline but Scott isn't. Meanwhile I think Laramee deserves a bonus for knocking Scott out.</p>
  20. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Captain2" data-cite="Captain2" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I thought you don't have to pay them if they're off making a movie.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Is that right? I've only ever had one person shoot a movie and never paid attention to it then. I think I'll take him if he accepts it anyway, I've never booked him before and he would probably see me win Mexico when I get big enough down there.</p>
  21. Champagne Lover's contract has come up and I'm (USPW) in a bidding war with SOTBPW for him. I can tell he'll cost $125,000 p/m which would then see Enygma, Champion & Frehley elevated from the $90,000 I just gave to Nicky. Problem is in day 2 of negotiations Champagne Lover has signed up for a movie and will be leaving in 3 months. Not sure whether it's really worth it now to essentially have him for 2 months, then lose him for 6 along with an extra $230,000 in monthly wages.
  22. <p>Thanks for the suggestions everyone, I'm thinking Natural Storm would be the easiest fit for Dawn at the moment. I had considered Moor but I'm going to keep him solo until the inevitable heel turn whenever he reaches the midcard. He's a NBT for me but is currently angry because he's fought two one night hires that wrestled stoned.</p><p> </p><p> I've signed the Philly Blondes since asking, paired them up as The American Blondes and are working face. I'm in a bidding war for Findlay O'Farraday so if I win that Bulldozer Smith will follow. From the suggestions I think Dirty White Boys might be next but I'll wait for the other new signings to settle before doing so.</p>
  23. So Rick Law & Dawn the Cheerleader had awful chemistry and I needed to separate them (Shaffer 'accidentally' threw Law into Dawn during a match, Law visits her in hospital to say she can't be at his side anymore as he's too afraid of hurting her.) So any suggestions as to what I do with Dawn now? I can't turn her heel but need to pair her up with someone. Also she will eventually be used to facilitate a Rick Law heel turn but that should be a long way down the road. Also can I get some tag team recommendations to flesh out the division? Natural Storm, Towers of Power & Cold Warriors have traded titles since 2011 and I feel like people would be sick to death of seeing these feuds. The McWades are one option, Grunt & Stink are another (albeit a terrible option, I used them in 2013 to decent effect). Elmo Benson is on PPA at TCW so he & Greg Black could be used though I don't think they'd be a great fit for USPW.
