1. This is a fantastic idea. I was going to do all of this manually, but maybe I can just post all of my ideas in this thread and get even more bang for my buck. I also plan on using some Thunderverse pictures, so hopefully there's no conflicts between those and TEW2020. Here's a character I made a while back for Cverse in 2016 though. Worker Picture (Choose one from the CVerse Free Pictures! First come, first serve!): CVFP_WhiteFemale017 Worker Name: Savannah McCormick Worker Size: Toned Small Birth Month/Year: May 2003 Debut Month/Year: 2021 Nationality: Irish Available Areas: British Isles Worker Style: Technician Worker Gimmicks (Face/Heel): None/Swaggering Irish Rogue Worker Bio: Savannah McCormick is an Irish wrestler starting out on the UK indie scene. A standout graduate from WWA: UK, McCormick began training when she was only 16 years of age. Despite her young age, McCormick is a true student of the game who has studied and modeled her own style after classic wrestlers and promotions of yesteryear. She's very much a traditionalist who relies on a Catch Wrestling approach, but she can also mix in some scrappy brawling when need be. Despite having such a physical and realistic style for her small stature, McCormick pulls it off by using her quickness to tye her opponents into knots and wear them down with submissions. She is also quite charismatic and has an innate talent for generating heat, debuting a swaggering Irish Rogue character on the indie scene. She wraps everything up with a fantastic finisher, a DDT Choke Sleeper she calls the 'Irish Curse DDT'. Given her love for the business and immense potential, it should be only a matter of time before McCormick gets the attention of a promotion. Alter-Ego's?: None. Dojo Graduate?: Yes, WWA: UK. Worker Personality/Attributes: Better As Heel, Plays Swagger Well, Plays Legitimate Well, Plays Weasily/Underdog Well, Driven, World Traveler, Loves the Business Skills: In-Ring Skills (No skill above 65) Brawling: 45 Puroresu: 36 Hardcore: 9 Technical: 59 Aerial: 31 Flashiness: 17 Mental Skills (No skill above 55) Psychology: 55 Experience (automatically 0): 0 Respect (automatically 0): 0 Reputation (automatically 50, cap at 70): 50 Fundamental Skills (No skill above 70) Basics: 58 Selling: 58 Consistency: 60 Safety: 61 Performance Skills (No skill above 70, except Charisma, Sex Appeal and Menace) Charisma: 50 Microphone: 45 Acting: 48 Star Quality: 70 Sex Appeal: 81 Menace: 20 Physical Abilities Stamina: 69 Athleticism: 64 Power: 30 Toughness: 75 Resilience: 80 Other Skills: Announcing: 0 Colour: 0 Refereeing: 0
 2. Yeah, I disagree with removing the system entirely. Not every player used Custom Products to "game the system", some of us generally enjoyed creating our own unique company to play as. Removing the system entirely doesn't just stop people from going on "easy mode", it punishes the people who played it the "right way" for no real reason.
 3. I may have let out some crucial info, during 2016 I booked almost every show manually, but in 2020 I've actually found it more intuitive to Auto Book, at least in the early stages of building up 5SSW anyway. While using this Auto Booker playstyle being able to view Perception within the Road Agent booking screen would be a major help, so I can make little tweaks to how I want a worker to perform or be presented, switch them out for someone else, etc.
 4. I'd be happy with this. How is an "indie" company that uses Episodic Sport supposed to survive if they get a penalty for EVERY match that's less than 20 minutes? Some of the product lengths, not to mention requirements, just make no sense. I think it would've been better to include a Suggested Length for each Product and match type. I.E. PG Rated Sports Entertainment and/or Family Friendly Wrestling have a Suggested Length of 8-10 minutes for Midcard or Opener matches, but an Opener could go 5-8 minutes with no penalties. An Upper Midcard match could follow the 8-10 minute format, but could also go higher to 15 minutes with no penalties if you're using two good workers with Star or at least Well Known perception. A Main Event match could fall into the 15-18 minute range, but could even go up to 20 minutes if you have Major Stars who are great workers going at it. And if you've put together a huge match featuring Mega Stars then you could do 30 minutes or maybe even more and any penalty you got would be negligible. Of course, there would be other companies where length SHOULD be a bit more stringent, something like Monster Battle should struggle to go over 5 minutes (unless of course it's a very well thought out match between special performers again) I think a range-based system would offer more variety and be much less limiting to our imaginations and creativity then the current restrictive It's Either This Or Nothing system in place.
 5.
Would it be possible to add some kind of toggle of text on the road agent booking section that displays the Perception for each worker involved? It would just make things run smoother if I could just click on a worker's name and see their Perception and book accordingly instead of having to click out and go to Roster or forcing myself to memorize the Perception of every worker in the company at every given time.

EDIT: I may have let out some crucial info, during 2016 I booked almost every show manually, but in 2020 I've actually found it more intuitive to Auto Book, at least in the early stages of building up 5SSW anyway. 6. is it just me or is no info being shown in the merchandise section?
 7. how do you give a worker time off? i remember seeing it by accident once, but can't find the screen now
 8. You haven't even played the beta yet you're judging people for being critical and missing half the picture in the process. People aren't just complaining about the Products because they can't create their own, the pre-set Products were just terribly executed. I.E. Hardcore or violence-centric companies penalizing bookers for doing Death Matches. "Modern" companies giving penalties on any match that's less than 20 minutes. 90% of the roster has stamina under 70. Besides being incapable of creating your own Product, it's like the Products we've been given are in direct conflict with themselves, it's really bizarre, unrealistic, and not playable. I've always started my own company in TEW2016, but if I keep playing 2020 I'll just play as DEVIL and book for 5SSW, but what if in my headcanon I decide I want her to strike out on her own and create a "Women's Revolution" in the C-Verse? How am I going to exercise my imagination and creativity when half the Products I have to choose from don't even make any sense or would punish me hard for striking out on my own?
 9. Well hold off on the WMMA5 comparisons then, because that's like GOTY compared to what we're getting with 2020.
 10.
This is one of the major issues with the pre-set products.

The products penalize you for doing what you're supposed to do in the game. It's like almost every product is in direct conflict with itself. How this escaped play-testing is beyond me.

 11.
I might make another more thorough and well thought out criticism post later, but for now I think this will suffice: This game is far from complete.

Plain and simple, the game isn't done.

People keep saying "oh, well it's a Public Beta"

Yeah, sure. But this plays more like an Early Access game on Steam, not a game that's getting a Full Release in ONE WEEK. In all honesty the game should be pushed back until it's worth paying $35 for. I'm very tempted to avoid this game like the plague for who knows how long and stick with 2016. It's a shame, because I can see flashes of brilliance hiding in 2020, but overall the entire game feels and plays like Great Ideas with Poor Execution.

 12. i agree with most of this, especially #3. It would be nice to have some customization options added in to products. I'm already tired of seeing a product that looks like i can jive with, only to find out i'll receive penalties for having matches with a smaller length then 20 minutes or something. I was excited for the pre-set products, but after looking at what we got I feel disappointed. So far, most of the issues with the game can be summed up as great ideas with poor execution imo.
 13. one thing that i'm sure will be fixed in a patch, but it's a mild annoyance and unrealistic--a wrestler shouldn't be considered being "used too much" if they're just wrestling in a pre-show match
 14. i also miss having the little question mark next to some options like in 2016. I don't want to have to look through the handbook for every little thing, and for a game like 2020 where so many new things are being added a quick little tab that answers your immediate question on things would be extremely useful
 15.

The lack of being able to search for "good", "great", "excellent" workers is very disappointing. Same as searching for "draws", "well known", "icons" etc. Typing in the number ranges individually makes me feel like I'm in excel. TEW has always been a spreadsheet first and wrestling sim second. But at least 16 hid it. This just feels like I'm making spreadsheets and not playing a game.

i agree, i hope an option gets added to make searching easier and more intuitive. The number system may be good after I get used to it, but for simply searching for specific kinds of workers I prefer the '16 version

 16. Terrible UI, the office section, for example, is unorganized and not streamlined at all like 2016. Can't scroll using arrow keys, which is really annoying and just not intuitive at all, especially with a game like this where you spend 90% of it looking at rosters and available workers etc. Currently on the pre-booking screen and I don't see any of the wrestlers or their pictures, or skills, just a list of their names on the left. Assuming that's a bug. I hate to say it but so far 2020 looks like a stepdown from 2016. I'm not saying this to be mean or negative, I'm saying this because I love this series and I want 2020 to blow me out of the water. I'm not sure if a week is enough time to fix all of these issues, most of which I'm sure I haven't even encountered yet, but this game has a lot of potential so I hope the retail version makes some big improvements.
 17.
Helikaon/KC Glenn has been on his excursion in Japan and has solidified himself as one of the best wrestlers in the world, ready to be courted back by North American companies who doubted him due to his lack of mic skills.

WINNOW is at war with 5SSW for supremacy in Women's Joshi.

 18. So I just created a Dojo for my created company. Do I have to turn on the new worker option for it to have affect, or will it randomly generate new workers for me regardless?
