  1. As a sidenote Taker4455 made some fantastic graphics for a custom promotion called All-Star Wrestling, but by his own admission doesn't seem to have much of a knack for designing belts. http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=545787 If someone wouldnn't mind helping him out with some titles that'd be great. Being a rugged Texas wrestling company I'd think they'd stick with the classics All-Star World Championship All-Star United States All-Star Tag Team and maybe an All-Star Television and All-Star Women's just to round things out.
  2. <p>I have some custom C-Verse title requests if anyone is interested. It would really help immersion and help other people get into the game as well. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Pro Wrestling Max</strong> present themselves as the C Verse equivalent of ROH or NWA, yet their titles look like they came out of a crayon box. With so many US companies focused on Family Friendly and Sports Entertainment Products, I think a "workrate" company should have more "professional" looking titles even if they're starting off super indie. </p><p> </p><p> They only have two titles: Pro Wrestling Max Championship, though I'd suggest it be called the PWMAX World Championship, and PWMAX Tag Team titles, but I'd also think they could use a good secondary belt as well. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>X-Wrestling America</strong> is basically in the same boat as above, they have a ton of potential titles and while they don't look quite as childish as PWMAX they're still a bit of an eyesore. </p><p> </p><p> Suggestions for new titles: </p><p> </p><p> An XWA Championship that looks a bit golder. </p><p> A better Women's championship. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>ELITE Pro Wrestling</strong> has a Large Women's Division in the database, but no Women's title. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Better CWA titles</strong>. For a company this prestigious and workrate focused, their titles look like fancy dinner plates. No disrespect intended to the original renderer of course. </p><p> </p><p> If anyone has a spare trophy or something for the Cornell Cup that'd be nice too. </p><p> </p><p> And if anyone wants to take a crack at these companies who have no titles at all in the database:</p><p> </p><p> SAW</p><p> L-Ring</p><p> Kanzen</p><p> Kitsune </p><p> KCCW</p>
  3. Just ran a show using ELITE who are classified as having a "Stoner Hardcore" product. As would be expected, the majority of the matches were Hardcore, yet I was penalized for these matches being unsuitable for my audience. What hardcore audience doesn't want to see hardcore matches? Hardcore matches are literally required for the product, yet I receive a penalty for using them. Furthermore I booked a: Work The Crowd for the opener. (unsuitable, but it was an opener match that still got the show off strong so I was fine with it) Comedy (unsuitable, yet is a requirement for the product) And a Car Crash main event (once again, unsuitable yet is a requirement for the product) Are these products ever going to get fixed, or will we be left with just a handful of companies that aren't bent on self-sabotaging themselves with confusing products?
  4. Maybe this has been addressed in the latest patch (I'm on 14) but injuries seem to be comically high now, and I'm on Medium injury frequency which is what I always use. In one of the older patches over a 2 month span my roster had around 4 injuries, with only 1 of them being super serious. In patch 14 I had about 5 or 6 injuries, with virtually all of them being major injuries, two of which didn't even take place in my promotion. One worker, in particular, sprained their ankle, then on their return match tore their ACL. Another worker semi-severed their spine not even working for us, and another received a back injury. Granted, they were all working for physically intense companies, but even the "stiffer" real world promotions don't have wrestlers severing their spines and tearing their ACLs every night. The code ofr injury frequency definintely needs to be toned down if it hasn't already.
  5. Choose a simple straight forward Product to start with, and book. You'll learn as you play. Also as others have said mess around with the Preferences if it suits you
  6. been playing CWWF with the trial and I'll definetely be using that logo and likely the belts during release.
  7. Yes, give us blood! Perhaps adding as attributes as suggested would be the easiest way to handle this.
  8. Yeah, it does take away from the immersion when you pick a User character that has history in the world. For the actual Avatars I don't think it's a big deal tho
  9. <p>After looking through most of these I've come to the conclusion that they're great!</p><p> </p><p> I'm already looking forward to turning Tommy Lee into a character and running a Classic Wild West promotion out of Texas with this stuff. </p><p> </p><p> Only thing that's missing is some Custom Belts, I think I can make due if need be.</p>
  10. Yeah, if we're being realistic then Sex Appeal should be the most OP stat in the game
  11. Stoner Puroresu- A style of Puroresu that's meant to merge the Respectful Wrestling of the East with the angles, characters and storylines of the West. Fans expect workers to work gimmicks and have entertainment value, but also treat the in-ring action with the utmost respect and expect hard-hitting psychological matches.
  12. Finally, a decent looking custom women's title thank you
  13. <p>I would normally just figure out where I want to go storyline and match-wise, maybe have a few "big" matches pre-booked down the line, and messily jot down any future plans in the game's notepad.</p><p> </p><p> But booking is the one area I can say 2020 definintely outshines 2016 so far. I love the intricateness and layers around putting together matches in this game, so I might branch out and use a seperate program for planning in the future.</p>
  14. In my '16 playthrough Findlay O'Farraday was a multi-time tag champ with Bulldozer, when age started to catch up to Bulldozer and I released him Findlay kept going strong into his early 40s and I gave him an epic Secondary title run where he made like 80+ clean defenses.
  15. <p>Also like to add Steve Flash, even though he's not a wrestler in 2020 anymore, he also became an amazing Road Agent in my '16 playthrough, and I also made him the Head Trainer of my Dojo and got an A* rating. </p><p> </p><p> If I can snag him during a 2020 playthrough I definintely will. </p><p> </p><p> I also sign Art Reed a lot.</p>
  16. I haven't really touched morale issues in 2020 so far, and decided to just ride it out more or less. In 2016 I always just gave bonuses. So far the morale system in 2020 doesn't seem nearly as scary as 2016 though. A Main Eventer misses one event there and is one bad day away from quitting, in 2020 it seems to take a bit longer and they just feel a bit sour backstage for a while, but it probably depends on the character.
  17. Lucy will always be my baby girl prodigy, even if she doesn't fit the criteria of a "boy" But to answer the question more precisely, when I'm working with a low level promotion I almost always sign up Remmy Skye since he's talented, charismatic, and unemployed. I think he was actually my first World Champion during my 2016 custom regional promotion start. Marcel Lefleur and Phobia both became fantastic workers, and I turned them into a tag team and mainstay in the Upper Midcard. Mainstream Hernandez became a failed experiment as a figurehead until I signed Helikaon when his contract "ran out" at BHOTWG, he was a good Main Eventer, but I took to him a little too hard. Marc Dubois played a big role in giving us a credible Heel in the beginning, but was too much in a pain backstage to fight for when the bigger companies came knocking. So there
  18. I'm doing pretty good with 5SSW right now for it being a Tiny company due to the woes that struck Japan in this timeline (yes, the events of TEW2016 take place in a seperate universe within my headcanon, just go with it). Selina Svelte received a torn rotator cuff injury during a match and so I vacated the tag titles and had Fuyuko and Gemmei win them since they're both super hot right now. Talia was in singles competition and though she lost in a title match main event against Yuma, she was rocketed into a Major Star. I've basically been using Thea Davis as a glorified jobber while she builds her skill up working for both us and EWA, but recently found she has good chemistry when teaming with Ochiyo so maybe they'll be a tag title in her near future. The main issue with 5SSW would be gaining popularity quickly for me so I can stop hemorrhaging money. The only active wrestler I have who isn't in the "red" in popularity is Yuma, so I'm thinking about having "myself" DEVIL Karube come out of retirement for one last world title run and feud against Yuma to attract fans. Makes me wish the Beta got extended a few more months so I could see what I can do with these developments.
  19. <p>My custom promotion in '16 was basically built around the eternal rivalry between KC Glenn and Bret Heartbreak for about 15 (in-game) years. They were pretty much my Rock and HHH. </p><p> </p><p> Other notable mentions:</p><p> </p><p> -Primus Allen</p><p> -Nelson Callum</p><p> -Greg Gauge </p><p> -Brooke Tyler</p><p> -Lucy Stone-McFly</p>
  20. Any ideas for some SAW belts? It always felt weird to me such a wacky company always has the default bland belts to start with
  21. last one for now Worker Picture (Choose one from the CVerse Free Pictures! First come, first serve!): CVFP_AsianFemale_032 Worker Name: Ryoko Hatoyama Worker Size: Bulky Lightweight Birth Month/Year: 2001 Debut Month/Year: 2023 Nationality: Japanese Available Areas: Japan Worker Style: Impactful Worker Gimmicks (Face/Heel): Worker Bio: Ryoko Hatoyama is a young brawler from Japan. A certified wrestling nerd with a wealth of knowledge that can put some of her older peers to shame, Hatoyama eats, breathes, and sleeps wrestling. Thanks to this wealth of knowledge, she's been able to adapt to the ring extremely quickly, and even impressed her trainers with her high intelligence and great mind for the business. Her stocky frame and high pain tolerance lends itself well to putting on dominant performances against smaller opponents. Her fantastic finisher alone, the Skull Buster (a spin-out Brainbuster Suplex turned into an inverted Piledriver) is enough to leave crowds hypnotized by her character. Unfortunately Hatoyama seems to bare the stereotype of the 'tortured genius', as she has a reputation as a Party Animal, drinker and soft drug user. If Hatoyama can get her addictions under control and perhaps whip herself into shape she very much could become the future of Women's Wrestling. Alter-Ego's?: None. Dojo Graduate?: Yes, WWA: Japan. 22. Sorry, I found a guy that reminded me of a young Lesnar and couldn't help myself. Worker Picture (Choose one from the CVerse Free Pictures! Unfortunately his Football career was cut short after a series of concussions, followed by a steroid scandal that saw him and several of his colleagues name’s tarnished. Bork became a distant memory and a “what if”, until he appeared at the TITAN Factory as a trainee. Dread immediately took to the young prospect’s immense physical gifts and size, teaching him how to utilize the basics to play to his strengths as a Monster. Though he's limited in the ring at this stage, Lazer has the potential to be a future Mega Star if handled right. Alter-Ego's?: None. Dojo Graduate?: Yes, TITAN Factory. 23. Yup, it was nice that all of that stuff was readily viewable in '16. Would make starting off with a company go a hell of a lot smoother.
  24. I just realized there are like hardly any Indian characters in-game for Cverse. Are any modders working on some Indian renders?
