MLW Control Center
MLW World Heavyweight Champion Abducted In Tijuana!
The main event of Blood and Thunder supershow was marred in controversy, as the match got thrown out following an interference by deranged lucha star Pagano. ‘The King of Extreme’ ensured that the match between Bandido and Alexander Hammerstone ended in a draw, and after Cesar Duran blatantly paid Pagano for his run in, El Jefe’s lackeys carried Hammerstone backstage. The whereabouts of MLW’s biggest star are unknown, and the boss refused to comment on the situation. Rumors say this has something to do with match fixing and Hammerstone’s decision to stay out of Duran’s money ploys.
Unexpected Reunion In a ‘Three-Way To The Grave’ Match
In one of the headline matches of the supershow, King Muertes defeated both Savio Vega and Ivelisse Velez, trapping them in caskets to win the right to challenge Low Ki at the MLW Superfight event. ‘The Man of 1000 Deaths’ did not do it on his own though, with his former confidant Catrina making a surprise appearance from one of the caskets. She helped Muertes with ivelisse and had an intense stare down with Low Ki’s manager Salina de la Renta. It's a get-together station here in MLW, and one would assume that these two ladies would get in each other’s face sooner rather than later… and you bet we are all here for it!
New MLW National Openweight Champion Is Crowned!
The title made famous by Alex Hammerstone has been vacant for close to a month, but now it belongs to ‘The Heavyweight Hustle’ Calvin Tankman who bested Alex Kane in a close fight. The title was in the physical possession of ‘The Suplex Assassin’ and his mentor AR Fox, but when push came to shove, Calvin stood his ground and grabbed his first piece of gold in MLW. Tankman is heading back to the USA and you can expect him to defend the title soon, as Calvin repeatedly stressed that the championship purse is what’s best for his family.
MLW Azteca Set To Hold More TV Tapings in Mexico
There were plenty of debuts at Blood and Thunder. Not only Cesar Duran brought in a few familiar luchadors like Aerostar and Drago, but he also called upon a ‘Minotaur of Lucha Libre’ - Black Taurus! The black bull helped Duran get one over the stubborn cowboy Texano, and it looks like Duran shares some sort of connection with Taurus that might give the boss a new monster to feed. Add Pagano to the mix, and you will get a very interesting cast for the next few weeks of MLW Azteca television… Stay tuned for more news!

MLW Blood and Thunder
Held on Saturday, Week 4, 2021
in Noroccidente, Mexico
Announce Team: Konnan, Famous B, Rich Bocchini and Jared Saint Laurent
As the caskets with Savio Vega and Ivelisse are rolled down the corridor, Cesar approaches Alexander Hammerstone, who’s lifting some serious weight backstage. Duran interrupts the work out and tells Hammer to put his headphones away and listen to him…
Cesar: So, the match will finish in a draw. A lot of very important people put big money on that outcome, so don’t let me and them down… are we clear?
Alex: Woah-woah-woah, what are you talking about? Are you really asking me to intentionally go for a draw against Bandido?
Cesar: I’m not asking you, I’m telling you. Ordering you! CRASH will be happy, I’ll be happy, and you will get a bonus. Don’t be a fool, Hammerstone…
Alex: You know what… put your bets and shove them up your ass, boss. I’m not selling my integrity for a few quick bucks. I’m the MLW World heavyweight champion, and I’m damn proud of it. I recommend you put all the chips on me, because Bandido is getting covered, 1-2-3. As one dude once said... that doesn't work for me, El Jefe.
Hammerstone shoves Duran away and storms off. The boss looks anxious, but he goes on his phone to make a quick call. The cameraman gets to hear about some ‘Plan B’ before running away from his hiding place. Emilio Sparks is willing to put his neck on the line for some scoops!
Time to get back to wrestling, a super showdown between two elite cruiserweights…
CRASH Cruiserweight Champion vs. MLW Middleweight Champion
Demonic Flamita vs. Myron Reed
QuoteTo open up the second part of the pay-per-view we get a battle between Flamita and Myron Reed. Who else can ‘warm up the crowd’ better than ‘Hot Fire’ and ‘The Fireball’?
Both guys start off rather cautiously, but as the match progresses, we start to see a lot of usual offense from the champions. Reed looks good to start the bout, hitting Flamita with a Matrix Enzughiri followed by a Tope Con Hilo to the outside! He misses a Springboard Leg Drop on his return though and Flamita kicks him in the chest protector, setting up a Standing Moonsault for a close near fall. Demonic luchador starts playing dirty, clawing the eyes of ‘The Young G.O.A.T.’...
Flamita looks to set up a Tiger Driver Backbreaker, but eats a Stunner for his troubles. Reed goes on the top rope once again, but Flamita bounces back and hits a Spanish Fly! One, two… kick out! Great match so far! AR Fox peeks from the curtain and starts walking around the ring. This distracts his protege, and Flamita dropkicks Reed out of the ring!
Springboard Tornillo Plancha catches both Myron and Fox! Flamita throws Reed back into the ring, this is a great chance for The CRASH Cruiserweight champion to get the victory. Phoenix Splash!! One… two… AR FOX PULLS THE REF OUT OF THE RING! Did he just save Myron? Flamita thinks so, loses his mind, and hurls verbal abuse at Fox on the apron.
Ref now bans the intruder while MYRON REED CATCHES FLAMITA WITH A SKYWALKER!
A cutter to the outside could be enough to pin Flamita, and yet Reed decides to go for a No Cap Splash to make sure the shoulders of his opponent stay pinned to the mat!
Myron Reed def. Demonic Flamita in 11:26 by pinfall with a No Cap Splash. [42/100]
Tough outing for Myron, and you have to wonder if the title would stay around his waist if it wasn’t for AR Fox. Flamita hits the mats in frustration, and Reed says that was some BS, and he will happily give him another chance at the title… Before we can see if Flamita accepted the handshake, a familiar CONTRA graphic interrupts the broadcast.
"Jacob Fatu… a headstrong imbecile, that’s who you are. All you had to do is apologize to your brothers and arms, but your pride is out of control… You are not a leader, you never were!! I, Josef Samael, is the mastermind of this cabal, and tonight we are going to make you pay for your sins, Jacob. ‘The Samoan Werewolf’ is about to get stabbed with a silver knife!
All because you chose not to… HAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIL COOOOOOOOOONTRAAAAAAA!!!"Up next is the battle of the heavyweights - Jacob Fatu and Mads Krugger! They were never friends, but co-existed to rule over MLW as part of CONTRA. Now though, ‘The Samoan Werewolf’ is on the loose, having broken off the cuffs of the gang back at War Chamber.
Fatu makes his entrance first, sporting a pair of leopard-printed pants. His presentation as a whole gets more Samoan flavor… Krugger doesn’t change anything in his appearance though, and slowly makes his way to the ring with Josef Samael and a few Sentai Death Squad soldiers.
First Blood Match
Mads Krugger (w/CONTRA) vs. Jacob Fatu
QuoteFatu starts a match by hitting Krugger and co with a Twisting Moonsault to the outside!!
Jacob ragdolls the advancing soldiers of the black and yellow faction, but gets shoved into the stairs by Mads, flipping over them like Cactus Jack. Krugger picks the steps to launch them into Fatu, but he gets hit with a Superkick, dropping them on himself! Jacob Fatu has those crazy eyes and signals for a Splash! Short run up on the apron…
Krugger avoids contact and ‘The Samoan Werewolf’ crashes and burns!
‘The Black Hand of CONTRA’ looks for weapons under the ring and gets a steel chair, throwing it hard into Fatu’s head! The samoan skull is thick, so no cuts there yet… Mads picks up a screwdriver from the toolbox, and only Jacob’s inhuman reflexes help him get out of harm's way! Fatu slams Krugger with a Samoan Drop and looks to get flying again, preparing for a Triple Moonsault. Josef Samael jumps on the apron to buy his monster some time, and make Fatu lose his balance! Instead, Jacob changes his direction and hits Sentai Death Squad soldiers with a Cannonball to the outside! Fatu is a freak of nature! He picks up the discarded chair and slams it hard into Krugger’s covered face a few times, but no claret is drawn…
He goes after the mask, and attempts a Handspring Moonsault, but Mads catches him by the throat. CHOKESLAM BACKBREAKER! Josef Samael is calling over his troops and orders them to dismantle the ring, so Fatu wouldn’t be able to hit his aerial maneuvers! Kruger is choking the samoan while the top rope is being removed, and looks over the hook, thinking about using it to end the match. Fatu ducks the swing and catches Mads with a Spinning Wheel Kick! He grabs the hook himself and signals the end… but Josef Samael throws salt in the eyes of the werewolf! Blinded beast is swearing so loudly, Krugger shakes off the cobwebs and wraps the third rope around Jacob’s neck!!
Ex-world champion is trapped, and ‘The Black Hand of CONTRA’ applies enough pressure to make Fatu bleed from his mouth!
Mads Krugger def. Jacob Fatu in 08:16 by making Fatu bleed from the mouth following a rope-assisted choke. [22/100]
An unexpected result, to say the least, some fans are not happy with what they have seen. CONTRA swarms the ring and covers Fatu‘s body with a black and yellow flag… Samael is smirking like a Cheshire Cat and tells all the infidels in the attendance to… HAAAAAIIIIIL CONTRAAAAAA!!!
Backstage, L.A. Park is giving his sons a pep talk. He warns them about Konnan, who can strike at any minute… Papa Park spots a guy filming his speech and calls that poor pendejo over.
"Ay, stop filming my trasero and point the camera at my masculine profile! ‘The Chairman’ is in a foul mood, and when that is the case, I grab my amigo and start blasting everyone! La Familia Real is at home, we’re holding the gold, and after we’re done beating you like a drum, Konnan will run away to US with a tail tucked between his cheeks, jajajaja!”
Interview over, and here come the challengers. The always braggadocious and obnoxious Danny Rivera and Slice Boogie are tagging along with ‘187’ Homicide, who covers his face with a bandana. Doctor Julius Smokes insults the fans and barks at the announcers for some reason, then steals the headset from Famous B and yells that tonight 5150 will become Trios champs, and beat the skeleton’s monkey asses! Konnan fist bumps the hype man and talks some trash before Parks make their entrance.
They’re very popular here, but spend no time sweet talking the fans…
Tijuana Street Fight for Azteca Underground Trios Titles
Los Parks (c) vs. 5150 (w/Konnan)
QuoteAs you would expect from these six wild men, this is a bonafide slobberknocker! It didn’t take a long time for the skeletons to pick up their signature weapons and play ‘music chairs’ with 5150. Only difference is, gangsters didn’t slam their butt in the chairs, but chairs got slammed into their culeros!!
The brawl naturally spilled out into the bleachers and the backstage area. L.A. Park smacked Homicide with a chair, later putting him on a merch table. He commanded that his younger son take ‘187’ out with a Balcony Splash, and that’s exactly what the skeleton did!! New Jack would be proud! L.A. Park picks up his own shirt and tells fanss to buy his merch!
Konnan leaves his seat and passes Danny Rivera a baseball bat to put the patriarch of the family to rest! Rivera goes to work, and he has a great swing, knocking L.A. Park out of the ring! El Hijo de L.A. Park flies into the ring and does very well, but gets too distracted with his taunts, and Boogie immediately drives him through a cornered table with a Spear!
Now Rivera and Boogie hold the big Mexican for Konnan, who gets in the ring with brass knuckles - he wants to rough up Park himself now!
It is a three-on-one situation, but somehow Park powers out and spears Konnan in the middle of the ring! Homicide stumbles back to the ring and he now has a fork in his hand… the maniac wants to stab L.A. Park, jumping on his back! He’s the master of ‘prison shower’ style! Slice and Rivera stomp the living legend to help and rip his mask open for Homicide to draw some juice… Time to wrap this up? 5150 set up a Headcraker, but the revived El Hijo de L.A. Park saves his padre, shoving Rivera down and onto the barking Dr. Julius Smokes!
Hijo hits Boogie with La Parkinator for two, but the cover is broken up by Homicide… GRINGO KILLA! Will this be enough to win the titles for LAX?? One... Two... L.A Park Jr pulls the ref away to stop the count and keep the gold in the family!! L.A. Park is back on his feet and he goes on a steel chair rampage, taking out every 5150 guy in sight!
Park unleashes hell on Homicide and pins him after a Sunset Flip Powerbomb! What a war!
Los Parks def. 5150 in 14:38 by pinfall when L.A. Park defeated Homicide with a Sunset Flip Powerbomb. Los Parks make defense number 2 of their Azteca Underground Trios championships. [49/100]
Perhaps for the first time in months L.A. Park praises his sons and embraces them as he should! They showed a lot of heart in this battle, and proved that this unit is holding on the bones of three men, not just L.A. Park! Hammerstone paces back and forth in his locker room, clearly bothered that Cesar Duran wanted to stick him in his dirty ploys.
Alex’s phone is ringing, and the champ picks it up. A last minute encouragement from his best friend Richard Holliday?
"Yeah Holliday, this is not the best time to talk… Man, my match is like in five minutes, I have no time to FaceTime you, bro… What?.. No-no-no, you can’t be serious… YOU BET ON THE DRAW TOO?? WHAT THE H--- NO! I will not do as Cesar tells me, I don’t care. Some things are worth more than money, Holliday. And for the record, I’m very disappointed in you, bro…"
Hammer drops the call and at the same time Cesar Duran steps out of the corridor to ask his renegades if they are enjoying the show? People roar in approval, ‘El Jefe’ knows how to please them. Now he tells them to pipe down, because he has some unfinished business with Texano. That idiot had the boldness to hit ‘El Jefe’ with his dirty hands and leave a shiner on his beautiful face… and to make his position worse, he refused to apologize. Well time for games is over! Duran calls out Texano to face him in a match!!
Erm… what? Cesar unbuttons his suit and rolls up his sleeves. Is he serious about it?? Texano comes out with a smirk on his face, his frame is wider than two Cesars!
He will not miss this chance to kick the piss out of the boss, no way. Duran tells to ring the bell, it is time for Texano’s funeral…
Mystery Challenge
Texano vs. Cesar Duran
Quote‘The Blue Collar Brawler’ is not taking the boss seriously, and offers him a test of strength…
Duran decides to go for the eye poke, but ends up in a tight Headlock, ready to quit any second! The boss yells for help, screaming to ‘UNLEASH THE BULL!!’
And lo and behold, a minotaur-like creature crashes into the ring and hits Texano with a Discus Lariat!! Black Taurus is in MLW, and he stomps Texano into the mat! Duran spits in Texano’s face, leaving ‘The Black Bull’ to deal with the defiant blue collar worker.
Taurus Driver!! The beast lays out the cowboy and lets ‘El Jefe’ put a foot on Texano’s chest for a cocky pin for the win… Do not cross the boss!
Cesar Duran def. Texano in 03:19 by pinfall after Black Taurus interfered. [36/100]
The camera zooms in on the muzzle of Black Taurus, looks like he will be the new beast represented by the boss.
In the back, Flamita is distressed about his loss earlier tonight, and tries to avoid Bandido, who cockily carries three belts on his waist. Bandido slaps Flamita on the back and tells him to watch the next match if he wants to learn a thing about victories… Flamita is pissed, and thinks about attacking his tag partner from the back, but controls his temper and walks away.
It’s main event time, and the stage is set for the showdown of international proportions! Three version champion Bandido makes his entrance first, the man is literally covered in gold. His poncho and sombrero fly off into the crowd, fans scream for ‘The Most Wanted’ in adoration. He’s a star in here, and undoubtedly the fan favorite!
And here comes Alexander Hammerstone, ‘The Muscle Mountain’! The MLW world champion is laser focused on his match, but you have to wonder if his conflict with Duran will play a role in this fight. Hammer is dealing with a somewhat hostile fan in the front row, but acts as a professional and enters the ring without touching a single soul. Let’s wrestle!
Both men are introduced with fanfare and ballyhoo, the time has come…
MLW World Heavyweight Champion vs. CRASH Heavyweight Champion
Alexander Hammerstone vs. Bandido
QuoteHammer offers Bandido a test of strength, and the lucha sensation accepts the challenge before kicking Hammer in the ribs. He won’t shy away from dirty tricks in this match!
Headlock is almost reversed with a Backdrop Suplex, but Bandido moves his hips and takes Alex down on the ground. The struggle continues, and after a bit of a stalemate Bandido ducks Hammer’s lariat with a backflip and playfully stands on his head, teasing the bigger man.
Bandido wants Alex to know that his grappling skills are superior, that he is faster, and perhaps smarter too… Nobody will argue that Hammerstone is a stronger guy, able to Military Press Slam his opponent out of the ring! Hammer teases a Big Beefy Drop, but Bandido catches him with a kick to the head, followed by a Springboard Tornillo Splash! Alex rolls over and picks Bandido up for a Twisting Uranage Slam for two! Powerbomb incoming? No, Bandido reverses with a Hurricanrana! BANDIDO SPECIAL CONNECTS!!
Two men are now fighting on the outside, and this is a battle that Alex wins with ease. He is much more of a brawler than Bandido, and he rams the luchador into the ring post before returning in the driver’s seat. Hammer goes on the top rope, looking to strike Bandido with his patented Missile Dropkick… Bandido jumps to the top and tries to hit a Revolution Fly, but Hammer fights off! This is when Bandido shoves the ref into the ropes, causing Alex to spill to the outside! ASAI MOONSAULT! He's on fire!
Throws Alex back in the ring, goes for the Phoenix Splash and hits nothing but the mat! Hammer moves out of the way at the last moment, and now he signals for The Nightmare Pendulum, his finishing maneuver… Bandido reverses it into a Hangman Neckbreaker! Great counter, and the fans get up on their feet as ‘The Most Wanted’ motions shooting Alex in the back of the head. 21 PLEX!! The CRASH champion is seconds away from finishing the match, but Hammerstone kicks out and HULKS UP, BROTHER!
He doesn’t feel any pain, he is full of energy, he’s jacked and ready to finish this match… with a Burning Hammer? No, Bandido slips out and hits back with a Superkick, sending Alex into the corner. Now Bandido wants to end this, prepping Hammer for a Revolution Fly! The struggle on the top rope has everyone on the edge of the seat, until Hammerstone showcases his inhuman strength, picking Bandido up for a NIGHTMARE PENDULUM FROM THE TOP!!!
Hammerstone balances on the top until a man in a hood jumps the barricades and shoves both guys down to the floor!! He puts the ref in the corner and tells him to count… the official refuses to end this interpromotional battle in a double count out, so the mystery man lays him out with a Lariat! The hood comes off and we see a deranged man with clown face paint!
THAT’S PAGANO!
The extremist finds the chair under the ring and smacks both men in the head so hard that they’re not beating a 20 count. The fans are throwing trash at Pagano, who greets the renegades with two middle fingers. Duran grabs the mic from Melissa Santos and announces that the match ends in a draw!
Alex Hammerstone and Bandido ended the match in a draw in 20:19 following an interference by Pagano. [55/100]
He’s showered in ‘culero’ chants, and as fans are starting a riot, a dozen of Duran’s lackeys grab the unconscious body of Hammerstone, and carry him to the back. Another abduction?
The show ends with Duran giving Pagano a wad of cash… Good night, everybody!

MLW Blood and Thunder
Held on Saturday, Week 4, 2021
in Noroccidente, Mexico
Announce Team: Konnan, Famous B, Rich Bocchini and Jared Saint Laurent
The show starts with a video package promoting the alliance between The CRASH Lucha Libre and Major League Wrestling. The supershow event in Mexico will be an annual tradition for MLW from now on, an executive decision made by the one and only Cesar Duran.
After the video recap Konnan comes out to hype up the crowd and promote his clients 5150, as well as the team of rudos that will be taking part in the opening contest. Arez, Juventud Guerrera, Psicosis and former CRASH tag team champions… Los Traumas!
Cesar Duran steps out of his office next and says that’s a good pick by CRASH, but his guys are simply better. They are Aramis, Laredo Kid, Samuray del Sol and two quite literally ‘out of this world’ luchadors… Aerostar and Drago!!
The fans get up on their feet as ‘The Spaceman’ shoots fire from the aerosol spray and Drago shows off his tongue and wings. The crowd is hot and chanting ‘lucha’! RING THE BELL!!!
Ten Man Tag Team Match
Aerostar, Samuray del Sol, Aramis, Laredo Kid, Drago
vs.
Trauma I, Juventud Guerrera, Arez, Psicosis, Trauma IIQuoteA multi-man lucha libre match to open the supershow in Mexico is always a good idea!
The fans are buzzing for all the high flying and death defying maneuvers performed by some of the most daring and fearless athletes in MLW. The action doesn’t stop for a second and we essentially get a highlight reel of a fight. The high spots of the match involve Aerostar wiping out the entire deck with a Trust Fall Splash, Laredo hitting a crazy Laredo Fly on Juvi, and Psicosis missing his patented Psycho Senton to the outside!
The star man of this match was undoubtedly Aerostar, but it was Aramis who got his team a victory by pinning Arez after La Desnucadora del Mosquetero!
Fan favorites celebrate together and get an ovation from the ‘renegades’, some of which throw money into the ring! Cesar must be happy that his guys picked up a win for MLW…
Team MLW def. Team CRASH in 12:38 by pinfall when Aramis defeated Arez with La Desnucadora del Mosquetero. [51/100]
Konnan is angry though, especially given that Aramis, the luchador who did not want to be mentored by him, got the victory. The winners will also likely get the title shots against the eventual Azteca Underground Trios champions, whether it will be 5150 or Los Parks.
Next we get to see Calvin Tankman and Myron Reed pumping each other up backstage. Big night for both men, and the pressure to deliver the results is real. On the other side of the building AR Fox is giving directions to his protege Alex Kane. Something’s got to give tonight!
Our next match is the first champion versus champion bout! Chik Tormenta will square off with ‘The Supernova from Moldova’ Marina Shafir. Tormenta is getting a better reaction upon her arrival, while Marina power walks to the ring with a stone cold killer look on her face.
MLW Women’s Champion vs. CRASH Femenil Champion
Marina Shafir vs. Chik Tormenta
QuoteWell, this was ugly. Marina and Chik engage in a rough initial exchange, with Shafir throwing some nasty knees and elbows at Tormenta. Chik’s mouth gets bloody after one of the kicks, and the match goes completely off the rails. Referee tries to interfere, but gets pushed away. Shafir then locks Tormenta in a Cross Armbreaker to get a decisive victory in a short match.
Marina Shafir def. Chik Tormenta in 03:48 by submission with a Cross Armbreaker. [14/100]
Marina did not break the submission hold immediately too, and the fans hated that with passion! The MLW Women’s champion leaves the arena to a chorus of boos, and it would be smart of her to get out of the country as soon as possible, for her own safety.
Backstage, Matt Cross and Angelico meet up with Ivelisse, trying to give her advice ahead of her ‘Three-Way To The Grave’ match against King Muertes and Savio Vega. ‘La Sicaria’ shuts them down, as she’s no stranger to winning Triple Threat matches. Like the one where she beat both of them at the same time! That time she also got a title shot against Muertes.
She will take her rematch against ‘The Man of 1000 Deaths’ tonight, and Angelico and Matt Cross should really mind their own business, they have a match against La Rebellion Amarilla. Ivelisse burns the last few bridges she had, but she doesn’t seem to care. Cross and Angelico shrug their shoulders and wish her good luck as she goes away. Their match is up next…
Cross and Angelico don’t get the chance to make their entrance, as La Rebellion Amarilla wastes no time to attack them from behind! This gives rudos the early advantage.
CRASH Tag Team Title Match
Angelico and Matt Cross vs. Bestia 666 and Mechawolf ©
QuoteLa Rebellion Amarilla have tagged together for some time now, but Cross and Angelico also have history together, plus some great chemistry to make it a pretty even match! Mechawolf workz the initial portions of the match, tussling it out with the perennial underdog Matt Cross. We get to see a lot of flashy moves from all four, this is an open match.
Eventually Bestia and Angelico fight each other, getting much louder reactions. "The South African Heartthrob" goes for the symbolic ‘Fall of The Angels’ move on Bestia, but the evil doer wriggles out and strikes the tall guy with a Superkick to the gut, followed by a Package Piledriver! Cross breaks up the cover and then Angelico catches Bestia with a Pele Kick, setting up a Shooting Star Press for Cross!! Tag made, Matt takes his time on the top rope, but gets distracted by the man in the hood that emerges from the tunnel… Damian 666!
Mechawolf uses the distraction to hit Angelico with a Slingshot Tornado DDT on the floor, and Bestia hits Cross with La Valagueza!
‘The Son of the Demon’ covers Matt Cross, looking dead into the eyes of his father. Victory for La Rebellion Amarilla!
La Rebellion Amarilla def. Matt Cross and Angelico in 09:12 by pinfall with La Valagueza. [43/100]
CRASH Lucha Libre picks up a much needed victory to make the score 2-1. Cesar will be angry at Angelico and Cross, no more handouts to them, one would assume.
El Jefe is in the office, checking out the MLW National Openweight championship. If Alexander Hammerstone kept this beautiful title to himself, AR Fox and Alex Kane would not steal it in the first place. Duran faces the camera and says that Fox is banned from ringside for the next bout, and if he puts his nose in that fight - Calvin Tankman will get the title.
Following that tricky stipulation, ‘The Suplex Assassin’ Alex Kane makes his entrance all alone. Calvin Tankman is accompanied by Myron Reed, but ‘The Heavyweight Hustle’ sends the Middleweight champ to the back, since Fox will not be around. It is gonna be mano e mano business!
MLW National Openweight Title Match
Calvin Tankman vs. Alex Kane
QuoteThese two men have faced each other at Fusion #144, and back then Kane got the victory following a sneaky belt shot to the face of Tankman! The title is not at ringside for now.
The match is slow and methodical, we have two big guys - it is a striking contrast to the match that opened the show. Local fans really do not like Alex Kane, who lashes back at them and uses his amateur wrestling background to try and put Calvin on the ground. Tank uses his elbows to fight back and smacks the mouthguard of Alex’ mouth with a Backfist! Then he sends Kane flying to the outside with a massive Pounce! Calvin follows his opponent and loses his focus for just one second before getting rammed into the ring post a few times!
Alex won’t get the title via count out though, so he uses a lot of energy to get Tank back into the ring… Kane starts screaming ‘BOMAYE’ and tries to Deadlift German the 354 pound man! He goes halfway, but Tankman surprises everyone with a Jumping Enzughiri that dazes Kane… Tankman Driver!! Cover… one, two, three!!
Calvin Tankman is the new MLW National Openweight champion! Huge victory for the big man!
Calvin Tankman def. Alex Kane in 08:19 by pinfall with a Tankman Driver. [27/100]
Cesar Duran presents Calvin with the title and says ‘that’s what you get for crossing El Jefe’ to Alex Kane. Taknman gets his first taste of gold in MLW and tells his daughter watching at home that daddy comes home as champion! Tankman is joined by Myron Reed, who is happy that one of his friends won the title. What would AR Fox think about this?
Going next is a “Three Way To The Grave” match! Savio Vega tapes his fists and prepares his kendo stick for what could be his last ever match. ‘Mr. TNT’ is not afraid of going into this match - he chooses death before dishonor of his IWA Caribbean title, and if he needs to risk everything to get that championship where it belongs, he’ll do it papi!
In the underbelly of the building, King Muertes is holding the mysterious parcel, breathing heavily over it. He opens it and his pupils get smaller from the light that comes from the little wooden box. What’s inside? Muertes gets the item, which looks like one of the seven Aztec medallions… He clutches it in his hand and a mysterious shadow appears behind him.
Could that be Marty The Moth? Or maybe it is Melissa Martinez? So many questions, so little answers. The ringside is now ready for the ‘Three-Way To The Grave’ match!
Before we can start, Salina de la Renta joins the commentary, forcing Rich Bocchini out of his seat. Low Ki can be seen in the upper section of the arena, holding the IWA Caribbean title.
Three-Way To The Grave Match
Savio Vega vs. King Muertes vs. Ivelisse
QuoteThis is it. Two fighters from this match will never be seen in MLW again. There are two coffins waiting for losers on the outside. The winner will go on to challenge Low Ki for the title!
Vega and Muertes get into a fist fight, with Ivelisse ducking the brutes and picking her shots. She’s smart and fast, opting to land a few kicks and get away from the harm’s way. Savio smartens up to this tactic and catches one of Ivelisse’s kicks, but he’s having some troubles hitting a girl. No such problem for Muertes, who decks Ivelisse with a straight right hand!
Call Hugo Savinovich, because this is… BRUTAL, BRUTAL, BRUTAL!
Savio and Muertes resume their fight, picking up some weapons along the way. Muertes gets a few stiff kendo stick lashes to the back, but responds with a hellacious chairshot to Vega’s head. With both opponents dazed and wobbly, Muertes picks up a casket and shoves it into the ring. Muertes tries to Chokeslam Ivelisse into an open casket, but she bites and fights!
But Muertes is just too strong for ‘La Sicaria’! Vega comes back into the match after hitting Muertes with a trash can. Savio riles up the crowd and lands a Caribbean Kick to send Muertes falling into the open coffin! He can't close the lid though, as Muertes is too strong! Ivelisse tries to help, but she’s again brushed aside!
Muertes claws Savio in the eyes and hits him with a Flatliner, before pushing him into the casket.
‘Savio Vega has been eliminated…’ - somberly announces Melissa Santos.
The druids pick up the casket and carry Savio away. Ivelisse desperately tries to hurt Muertes, but he doesn’t feel a thing! He lays out Ivelisse with a Chokeslam and looks to put her in the casket… But here comes Marty The Moth! He has a hammer in his hand - he wants revenge! He is unsuccessful though, as Muertes powerbombs him on the casket!
But he misses a Low Blow from Ivelisse! This is her big chance! Ivelisse hits Muertes with a Tornado DDT and looks to push him into the casket standing on the outside.
‘La Sicaria’ goes over to open it up…
CATRINA IS INSIDE!
The ghost from Ivelisse’s past rises from the dead, with Piedra Immortal hanging around her neck! Ivelisse, Salina, and even Melissa Santos are in shock, but Muertes is not. He chokeslams Ivelisse into the casket, and Catrina slams the lid shut! The winner of the match and Low Ki’s challenger at Superfight Showdown - King Muertes!!
King Muertes def. Savio Vega and Ivelisse in a Three-Way To The Grave Match. [46/100]
Catrina has a stare down with Salina, while Low Ki leaves the balcony, and we go to the intermission.

MLW Blood and Thunder Preview
Tijuana Street Fight for Azteca Underground Trios Titles
Los Parks (c) vs. 5150 (w/Konnan)
Cesar Duran made his return just last week, but immediately added a few blockbuster matches to the card, such as a Tijuana Street Fight between Trios champions Los Parks and hungry challengers 5150! This will be the first time Konnan’s unit will fight for the gold in MLW, and judging from the pre-match trash talk, they are walking into that bout with all the confidence in the world. The skeletons will undoubtedly have a home turf advantage, with Mexican ‘renegades’ treating them as national heroes. Then again, Blood and Thunder is co-produced by K-Dawg, so he can throw a monkey wrench in the works if he feels like it. 5150 has the momentum after beating Injustice at the War Chamber event last month!
Mystery Challenge
Texano vs. Cesar’s Choice
The boss let Texano know that he didn’t forgive ‘The Blue Collar Brawler’ for giving him a blackeye a few weeks ago. Texano is a prideful man, so when Duran looked to embarrass him by forcing the man to wipe his shoes for a few measly dollars, the former AAA Mega champion showed that he’s not afraid to stand his ground and humble the main man. Famous B’s client survived an ambush in the bar, throwing around Cesar’s lackeys with ease, but Duran promised that soon Texano will feel ‘the wrath of the Gods’! Who could Cesar be talking about?
Three-Way To The Grave Match
Savio Vega vs. King Muertes vs. Ivelisse
There will be no shortage of violence this Sunday, as Salina de la Renta booked an infamous ‘Three Way To The Grave’ match involving Ivelisse, Savio Vega, and King Muertes! Savio has a long rivalry with different de la Renta’s clients, Ivelisse naturally confronted Salina about being bossy and bitchy, and Muertes joined Cesar Duran's group after his henchmen kidnapped and threatened ‘La Bruja’, betraying the woman that brought him back to life. This is a great match for Salina - two of her rivals will be shipped as ‘Cargo 200’ to the coast of Puerto Rico. But whoever comes out of this match alive will challenge Low Ki for a Caribbean title showdown at the season finale event! ‘The Professional’ Low Ki will be watching this one closely...
MLW Women’s Champion vs. CRASH Femenil Champion
Marina Shafir vs. Chik Tormenta
There were a few late additions to the Blood and Thunder card, setting up a bunch of inter-promotional title matches. One of them involves Marina Shafir, who promised to show why she’s the baddest woman in all of wrestling. Now we are hearing that she will fight Chik Tormenta, CRASH Femenil champion! Tormenta can take a punch and stretch anyone out, but she comes into this exhibition match as a heavy underdog. Bookies predict an easy victory for ‘The Supernova from Moldova’, but as we found out at Fusion, upsets can happen!
CRASH Tag Team Title Match
Angelico and Matt Cross vs. Bestia 666 and Mechawolf (c)
A favor from the boss, or a trap? Angelico and Matt Cross have been feuding with La Rebellion Amarilla for a few months, and so far, they have had no opportunity to get a fair shot at the demonic duo. Cross was laid out by the barbed wire bat to the back, Angelico almost suffocated in the coffin, and Ivelisse decided to stop siding with her old partners to avoid the Tijuana Terror. The evil tag team will be forced to defend their CRASH tag team titles here, something they would like to avoid. Losing in their home promotion would be seen as a shameful thing, since Damian 666 is promised to make an appearance at the supershow… You do not want to disappoint 'La Bestia de Apocalipsis' in his own house if you're Bestia 666!
First Blood Match
Mads Krugger (w/CONTRA) vs. Jacob Fatu
‘The Samoan Werewolf’ broke out from CONTRA and went to war with the black and yellow soldiers all on his own. In the past few weeks Fatu has destroyed Ikuro Kwon and chewed Daivari’s nose off, trying to get to ‘The Black Hand’ Mads Krugger in a one on one match. During one of the ambushes, Jacob got hit with a railroad spike to the head, which awakened a beast inside the already scary Samoan. Cesar Duran gushed all over the prospect of CONTRA's civil war and arranged a fitting stipulation between two of the meanest fighters in MLW… a First Blood match! In order to win, you only have to bust your opponent open, a doable task for Krugger, given that he will be backed by the international cabal of violence!
MLW National Openweight Title Match
Calvin Tankman vs. Alex Kane
Tankman and Kane have been at each other’s throats since coming into the league. While Calvin had spent a bit more time in the MLW locker room, both he and Alex are considered as ‘the new blood’ who still have to prove their worth. Calvin is a super heavyweight with a record of impressive fights, and Alex is a freak athlete who can suplex anyone he pleases, which he proved by breaking the ring with Tankman’s body back at War Chamber! Now ‘The Heavyweight Hustle’ meets ‘The Suplex Assassin’, in a good old ‘unstoppable force meets immovable object’ battle. Who will be crowned the new MLW Openweight champion, and be earmarked as ‘the next big thing’ in MLW? And will AR Fox or Myron Reed interfere?
CRASH Cruiserweight Champion vs. MLW Middleweight Champion
Demonic Flamita vs. Myron Reed
No such thing as too many interpromotional battles! In what promises to be a match of the night, ‘The Young G.O.A.T.’ Myron Reed will take on Demonic Flamita, a luchador with scorching offense and hot temper. Myron has a history of facing other great luchadors, like Laredo Kid and Drago, so meeting Flamita will not be something entirely new for the two time MLW Middleweight champion. Flamita will be trying his damndest to leave the shadow of his more successful tag team partner, Bandido, and things will get heated in this bout!
Ten Man Tag Team Match
?/Samuray del Sol, Aramis, Laredo Kid/? vs. ?/Juventud Guerrera, Arez, Psicosis/?
No lucha libre event is complete without a multi-man tag team contest! Ten of the best luchadores in the game will wow the audience and try to impress the fans, with Laredo Kid, Aramis and Samuray del Sol confirmed to compete in the technico corner. For the rudos, we can confirm the participation of Arez, Psicosis and Juventud Guerrera. Mexicools have lost Super Crazy after ‘The Sacrifice To The Gods’ and will look to win this match to get a shot at the Trios champions, whether that will be Los Parks or 5150. A few additional spots in the match remain a mystery, with MLW and CRASH bosses choosing to keep their cards close to the chest. Surprise appearances by some local stars would surely give the fans a reason to chant harder...
MLW World Heavyweight Champion vs. CRASH Heavyweight Champion
Alexander Hammerstone vs. Bandido
The main event. The cream of the crop. The match people will pay big bucks to see live! It is a historic bout involving Alexander Hammerstone, the face of MLW, and Bandido, a champion in CRASH, Ring of Honor and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla! Two competitors had a face-to-face meeting at the press conference to end the recent Fusion episode, with ‘The Most Wanted’ seemingly taking a small victory when it comes to mind games. Alex brushed this notion off and promised to introduce Bandido to The Nightmare Pendulum - a move that floored bigger men! This one can go either way, but one thing is for sure, USA-loving Hammerstone will not be welcome in Tijuana, and local fans will be pulling hard for one of the biggest stars in Mexico!

MLW Fusion
Episode #147
Taped for Vice TV in Tri State
Aired on Week 4, November 2021
Announce Team: Rich Bocchini and Jared Saint Laurent
Before the show we get a vignette from Cesar Duran's makeshift office. 'El Jefe' is back and offers his guests Angelico and Matt Cross some bourbon...
Both refuse the drink and say that they came here for something else. La Rebellion Amarilla have terrorized them for too long now, and they need to settle the score! Duran likes their hunger, and says that they will get a chance at Blood and Thunder. Furthermore, they will challenge for the CRASH Tag Team titles that Bestia 666 and Mechawolf currently hold!
They seem surprised, Cesar is suspiciously kind to them… but they got what they came for. As they leave, Cross asks if ‘El Jefe’ can undo the 'Three-Way To The Grave' match booked by Salina de la Renta. Duran says 'not a chance' and laughs.
Announcers welcome us to the show and preview tonight’s main event - Jacob Fatu against Daivari! CONTRA’s inner conflict is getting out of control, and we can expect a very angry Jacob Fatu following CONTRA’s attack from last week. Then announcers hype up Marina Shafir, our MLW Women's champion. A quick recap of her performance is shown before her entrance, and then she just takes her place behind the desk for the opening contest involving Jessamyn Duke.
Jessamyn Duke vs. Zeda Zhang
QuoteBoth women are well versed in mixed martial arts and it is a fairly stiff affair.
Lots of kicks, punches and suplexes from both fighters, but nothing to impress the champion. Commentators ask Marina about accidentally punching her friend back in the 6-way match to crown the champ, but Shafir asks 'who said it was accidental?' A rhetorical question.
Zeda Zhang looks better as the match goes on, even though Duke towers over her. Shafir doesn't hide her disappointment in the tag team partner when Zeda traps Duke in a Guillotine and makes her tap out! Huge victory for Zeda Zhang!
Zeda Zhang defeated Jessamyn Duke in 6:28 by submission with a Guillotine. [28/100]
Marina does not help her friend after the beating and says she has no time for losers. She’ll be fighting this Sunday, and she will show exactly why she is the first MLW Women’s champion!
A quick recap of Azteca results and promo video about Demonic Flamita is aired on the backstage TV monitor, with Myron Reed and Calvin Tankman discussing the interpromotional bout set for Blood and Thunder.
‘Young G.O.A.T’ says his loss to Fox was just a bump on the road, he will set the record straight this Sunday. He will win for himself, but also for his kids! At the end of the day, it’s all about their families… Calvin agrees, he also has mouths to feed at home, and his goal is to win the MLW National Openweight title, and be a champ the streets won’t forget! Jordan Oliver interrupts the chatter of two family men and mocks them, asking how does their ‘wack pullout game make them more mature’? This makes Tankman angry, but Reed holds ‘The Heavyweight Hustle’ back and tells him to keep that anger for Alex Kane. No need to fight now, fellas.
Back to the ring, Big Damo bullies the ring announcer and complains about not being put in The Opera Cup! ‘The Beast Of Belfast’ says that Alex Hammerstone only went to Mexico to duck his challenge, and sooner or later, the title will be wrapped around his waist! Damo lists some heavyweights he has manhandled in MLW and asks for some heavy hitter from the back.
Warhorse comes out! He is rocking his head back and forth and greets the fans! The bullied announcer reveals that ‘The Little Viking’ weighs over 4000 lbs. of raw heavy metal, and will be Damo’s opponent for tonight!
Big Damo vs. WARHORSE
QuoteWarhorse didn’t stand a chance against a frustrated heavyweight.
While the fan favorite had a glimmer of hope after hitting Damo with a Double Foot Stomp, the rest of the match went with Damo in the driver’s seat.
The Irish lad squashes Warhorse with The Ulster Plantation to extend his winning streak in MLW!
Big Damo defeated Warhorse in 03:28 by pinfall with Ulster Plantation. [36/100]
Backstage pre-taped promo form 5150! Konnan and his goons are cutting a promo full of expletives with an ECW logo in the background.
The gangsters are hyped for their match with Los Parks, and talk a big game ahead of an even bigger fight…
Pre-match picture-in-picture promos from Richard Holliday and Gino Medina. ‘The Airpod God’ says that he intends to win the Opera Cup and go on to challenge his bro Alex Hammerstone in the most dynastic main event in MLW’s history! Gino Medina does not phase Richard one bit, he doesn’t even deserve to breathe the rarified air. ‘Intocable’ Gino Medina says that Holliday won’t be going to The Opera Cup when he ‘Eats Defeat’ tonight. Gino left The Dynasty to carve his own path, and it all begins here, comprende?
Gino Medina vs. Richard Holliday
QuoteA solid match between two young wrestlers.
After a few pushes and slaps to the face from both men, the action got more wrestling-like, with Holliday controlling his opponent in various holds. Gino surprised Richard with a Step Up Enzuigiri, but it wasn’t enough to put his former stablemate away. Medina looked for ‘Eat Defeat‘, but Holliday transitioned it into a Figure 4!
Gino grabbed the rope, but experienced ‘The Market Crash’ to lose the match.
Richard Holliday defeated Gino Medina in 09:38 by pinfall with a Market Crash. [38/100]
Holliday’s pompous celebration and post-match interview with Alicia Atout is interrupted by a message from CONTRA! Mads Krugger reacts to recent up-close and personal videos about Jacob Fatu, saying that he’s not a monster anymore…
The feed is cut short before Mads can finish his promo. The main event is up next! Just last week ‘The Samoan Werewolf’ was hit in the head with a railroad spike, but continued to fight despite being heavily outnumbered. Can he fare better tonight??
Jacob Fatu vs. Daivari
QuoteFatu wastes no time and destroys Daivari with high velocity moves!
Spinning Wheel Kick, Hip Attack in the corner, a Pop Up Samoan Drop and a Standing Moonsault - Fatu is running riot! CONTRA soldiers surround the ring, and Josef Samael is yelling instructions… but ‘The Samoan Werewolf’ ignores them. HE BITES DAIVARI’S NOSE AND SPITS BLOOD AT HIS FORMER GUIDE!
Samael loses his cool and demands an all out attack on Fatu, resulting in a disqualification finish!
Jacob Fatu defeated Daivari in 07:29 by DQ after CONTRA swarmed the ring. [40/100]
Fatu is holding his own and ragdolling Sentai soldiers with Samoan Spikes and Headbutts!
Jacob is a lion swarmed by a pack of hyenas, but eventually even a beast like him will succumb to the numbers. Daivari smacks him in the back of the head with a kendo stick and then puts him in a Camel Clutch! Samael is spitting verbal abuse in the face of the fading ex-champion, but here comes Cesar Duran…
He hates to interrupt the boys and all the violence they are bringing to the table, but something has to be done here. Duran smells money in this ‘civil war of CONTRA’ and unveils that Jacob Fatu will take on Mads Krugger at Blood and Thunder in a… FIRST BLOOD MATCH!
This announcement takes the mastermind of CONTRA by surprise, and gives Fatu a chance to break free and clear the ring from black and yellow orcs. Samael ducks a kendo stick shot and Fatu is chasing him out of the arena to close the show!! But wait, there’s more!
We close the show with footage from the press-conference held by CRASH Lucha Libre!
Alexander Hammerstone, our MLW World Heavyweight champion, is sitting next to Bandido. ‘The Most Wanted’ luchador has three times more gold - holding ROH, PWG, and CRASH world titles! All the photographers are working their cameras to capture the best possible photo of the triple champion, and all journalists are interrupting each other to ask Bandido some questions.
Hammer tries his best to answer one single question in Spanish, but before he can force it out, Bandido grabs his belt and says it will belong to him after Blood and Thunder!! Hammerstone grabs his belt back and warns Bandido not to push him. The luchador claps Alex on the chest, as if he just made a joke, and offers Hammerstone a handshake… but pulls the hand away and forms it in a shooting gesture!
Alex smirks and promises to introduce the guy to the Nightmare Pendulum this Sunday. Good night everybody!

As someone who would hit Preview Post multiple times to check the format before posting, this sounds a bit worrying. From my experience with Invision tho, things appear in the textbox more or less like they'll show up in the end, so hopefully it won't be that much of a hassle. Fingers crossed for you mate, glad to see you back running this!
Oh, I am hitting 'Preview' all the time for the most miniscule edits too. But sometimes I am sitting here scratching my head, haha. I've made some progress in the understanding of this new engine, so I'll be comfortable and settled soon enough
Thanks for the well wishes too! -
MLW Fusion #147
This is our last stop before going to Mexico for Blood and Thunder supershow!
With Cesar Duran back in the active role, this promises to be a show full of high-octane and violent action. For the main event we have a battle of former CONTRA brethrens - Jacob Fatu and Daivari. Josef Samael, leader of the international cabal of violence, will be hoping to beat some sense into ‘The Samoan Werewolf’ using Daivari’s in-ring experience.
In the semi-main event of the show, Richard Holliday will lock up with Gino Medina, a former stablemate and friend. ‘The Airpod God’ wants to prove that he can exist without Alex Hammerstone just fine, and Medina wants to wrestle the Opera Cup ticket away from Holliday!
Our MLW ring might not be able to contain the contestants of our next match… Big Damo is a force to be reckoned with, but his claims for a world title shot have fallen on deaf ears. Can ‘The Belfast Beast’ get Cesar’s attention, when he meets with ‘The Ruler of Ass’ also known as Warhorse? Over 4320 pounds between these two men, you don’t want to miss this!
In the opening contest of the evening, Jessamyn Duke and Zeda Zhang will showcase their mixed martial art skills. MLW Women’s champion Marina Shafir is scheduled to make an appearance and join the commentary for this intriguing match up. Jessamyn enjoys a significant height advantage, but Zeda is a smart and skilled fighter with a big heart.
Finally, we will witness a press conference from Arena Mexico to promote the dream match between Alexander Hammerstone and Bandido booked for Blood and Thunder!

I've decided to carry over some predictions results from the old thread, hope nobody minds.16 hours ago, Puto said:Pretty ignorant about MLW, so this dynasty may be useful 😁 don't really like intergender bout, but the rest seems interesting to me!
I hope you liked the show apart from Marty/Ivelisse haha. I can understand why some people wouldn't approve such a match, but intergender wrestling was a big part of Lucha Underground, which Azteca tries to emulate. Regardless, I won't be making IG matches very often! Then again, Ivelisse will be booked in a Triple Threat Casket match, so yeaaaaah...
1 hour ago, Old School Fan said:Nice work on this MLW thread. I've followed MLW from time to time (particularly while Contra Unit was dominating in the company), so it's a pretty good alternative to WWE.
A question I do have - how do you get your posts to span the width of the screen like it does here? I'd like to be able to do that for my diary posts so they can look like they did back at the old forum.
Thank you very much! CONTRA was a big deal indeed, now they will be scaled down following Fatu's face turn. As for your question, I'm not sure what you mean, but I PMed you. Will be glad to help when I get more details! More about my trails and errors with the editor...
Dynasty Format
I had a fair few run-ins with the editor, but it looks like the show is finally looking adequate.
Hint to dynasty writers - set the color of your text to be automatic, so you wouldn't get black font on dark theme
Overall, the new editor is much more fluid, and that can get frustrating... You push something, and another thing is squeezed out of the format. Lots of blind tinkering before I could jam 'POST'.
Hope the show wasn't too big. I halved the amount of text I needed for the old format, less dialogue, shorter match descriptions and no drop-down dirt sheets. Saved quite a lot of time!
One accidental thing I decided to keep is the match description inside of the 'Quote'. It hides the result and some GIFs too, so less spoilers I guess 😛

MLW Azteca
Episode #12 - "Life Is Cheap"
Taped for El Rey Network in South EastAired on Week 4, November 2021
Announce Team: Konnan and Famous B
Salina de la Renta opens the show with an in-ring promo. She was appointed as an executive producer of tonight’s Azteca episode.
She reminds all the ‘gentlemarks’ that last week her new clients, The Colons, have defeated Muertes, Savio Vega and Ivelisse - after all three of them had the audacity to ask for a title match with Low Ki. Salina calls them losers and books them in a ‘Three-Way To The Grave’ match at Blood and Thunder! The winner of that match will get an IWA Caribbean title match at the final supershow of the year, while losers will be shipped off to Puerto Rico as Cargo 200!
Ivelisse interrupts de la Renta and points out that the only reason she lost last week is because of that nut job Marty The Moth distracting erratic Muertes and past-his-prime Savio Vega eating the pin. Ivelisse claims she’s unstoppable in singles competition, and can take out anyone! Salina says that’s great, because she has a fitting opponent for her tonight…
Out comes Marty The Moth! ‘Creepy Bastard’ waves to the girls and shows off his package... Not that one, a mysterious parcel he stole from Cesar’s office a few weeks ago. It gives him the power of life!
Marty The Moth vs. Ivelisse
Quote‘The Baddest Bitch In The Building’ hits Marty ‘below the waterline’ and almost pins him after The Code Huntress!
She kicks Marty’s mantits with kicks, but gets dropped hard after 'The Moth' reverses a Hurricanrana into a Powerbomb with a provocative pinning maneuver. Ivelisse kicks out, stands her ground and uses her agility to duck a big Bicycle Kick. Marty’s leg is on the rope, and he goes down after a Tornado DDT!! But kicks out in two… Ivelisse appeals to the ref, Marty is too touchy and gross. He jams his fingers into her throat and eventually puts ‘La Sicaria’ away with a Modified Full Nelson Slam.
He really broke a butterfly on the wheel there!
Marty The Moth defeated Ivelisse in 7:26 by pinfall with a Full Nelson Slam. [32/100]
After the bout, Marty screams ‘That’s for Jeremiah!’ and tries to… lick Ivelisse! Salina left the match early after a phone call, so Melissa Martinez came out to buy Ivelisse some time.
Marty is distracted by his half-sister and doesn’t see King Muertes charging at him from behind! Moth goes down after The Reaper’s Trident and drops the mysterious parcel that Muertes can finally call his own. ‘The Man of 1000 Deaths’ screams for Salina and Low-Ki, he wants his revenge! They took his mask, but he will take their souls… Melissa Martinez is laughing at Marty getting speared out of his boots, but Muertes thinks she doesn’t take him seriously.
Muertes chokeslams her in the middle of the ring!! Ex-champion leaves the ring with three knocked out people and an item that gives its owner ‘the power of life’.
Salina is walking backstage while having a phone conversation with Low Ki, but she gets interrupted by Savio Vega. She tried to kill him once, but he’s still here, his heart beating.
After he beats Ivelisse and Muertes in a three-way, he will bring back the IWA Caribbean title back to the people of Puerto Rico, where it belongs! Salina says that she planned to give grandpa Savio a week off, but since he just interrupted her call, he is punished! He will go one on one against Texano in tonight’s main event! Vega doesn’t mind that at all, and tells ‘La Bruja’ he still has plenty of fuel in his tank.
Famous B reacts to the main event, saying that he will not represent Texano, since ‘The Blue Collar Brawler’ refused to apologize to ‘El Jefe’ for knocking him out.
Time for our second match of the night. Zenshi is already standing in the ring and talks a bit about the shoulder injury he suffered at the hands of Marty The Moth.
Tonight serves as a great example that karma exists - The Moth has been swatted away for his sins. Zenshi forgives him, and he forgives AR Fox too, another tortured soul that needs to find inner peace. Zenshi’s speech is cut short by the arrival of Demonic Flamita! The CRASH Cruiserweight champion is here to have a match before his meeting with Myron Reed at Blood and Thunder.
Zenshi vs. Demonic Flamita
QuoteThis match featured two of the most talented luchadors in the league, and it certainly delivered for believers gathered in attendance.
Zenshi showcased some of his unique moves, but was handicapped by his shoulder injury. Flamita tortured ‘The Aerial Artist’ with Arm Drags and targeted the injury to set up a fairly quick finish - a Codebreaker variation from La Valagueza. Flamita calls this move 'Retador', after his father.
Myron Reed should take notes!
Demonic Flamita defeated Zenshi in 8:12 by pinfall with Retador. [46/100]
As the replays showcase the highlights of this lucha libre contest, AR Fox makes his way to the ring with a mic. He’s on his own today, and talks about how Calvin Tankman attacked him from behind last week. He is nothing more than a goon hired by Dario Cueto - a real snake in the grass! He can change his name, but he can’t change his true colors.
Fox says he should be fighting Reed for the title instead of Flamita, and the luchador is lucky AR Fox is a busy man. Flamita slinks away… Fox adds there’s a conspiracy against him, and if anyone should be talking about injustice - it is him! Cueto sacrificed Fox and put him through hell, forcing him to fight in a war of the century. He now ‘uses’ Zenshi in the same way, but he’s too blind to see the real truth.
AR Fox offers Zenshi a hand… ‘The Aerial Artist’ sits in a lotus pose and whispers something to ‘The One Man Army’, but eventually takes up the offer. AR picks Zenshi by his hurt arm only to drop him with a Foxcatcher!! Fox tells Zenshi to ‘Never Trust Anyone’ and leaves the ring, promising to expose Duran when he gets the balls to show up in MLW!
In a short pre-taped promo The Lucha Dream Team of Aramis, Samuray del Sol and Laredo Kid promised to get back on the winning track at Blood and Thunder. They throw an open challenge to any Trios team in CRASH Lucha Libre, and let the fans know they will be back in the Trios title mix, no matter who holds the belts - 5150 or Los Parks!
It is time for our main event of the night - Savio Vega goes one on one with Texano! Famous B says this is going to be a slobberknocker, then begs Konnan to lend him some of that money Apolo left behind him. K-Dawg tells B to ‘forget about it’, the money belongs to ‘La Familia’.
Savio Vega vs. Texano
QuoteA match made by Salina de la Renta is well-received by the fans who are fond of good old brawling.
It is a borderline hardcore match, as both men are no strangers to foreign objects and fighting in the crowds. Mr. TNT sends Texano back first on the wooden bleachers, but decides against taking a count out victory. Savio is distracted by Famous B at some point, which gives Texano a chance to hit the veteran with a Leg Lariat on the outside! Both men go balls to the walls in the ring, Vega misses The Caribbean Kick and Texano pins him after a Sitout Powerbomb!
A good victory for the former AAA Mega champion, one to forget for Savio.
Texano defeated Savio Vega in 09:48 by pinfall with Powerbomb. [44/100]
‘The Blue Collar Brawler’ helps Savio get up and embraces the living legend. This feel good moment is interrupted by the returning Cesar Duran! Looks like he has ‘the cojones’ to show his face around these places again. He does have a huge shiner!
‘El Jefe’ smirks and says that Salina might be an executive producer for one night only, but he runs the whole show. Cesar says that he despises both men, and would fire them on the spot if he didn’t want to teach them a lesson first. Duran says that Texano will feel the wrath of Gods at Blood and Thunder, and as for Savio, he will be obliterated by King Muertes!
Duran can’t wait for the show, and reveals that the super event will have Azteca Underground Trios champions Los Parks and 5150 in a Tijuana Street Fight match!! Konnan stands up from his seat and gets in a verbal spat with the boss to end the show.

Gotta say that I quite like the new forums for show posting. Easier for images for sure. Of course, a few things need getting used to. If someone can help me figure out how to make the videos smaller in here, I'd greatly appreciate it.
When you get the embed code from YouTube, you will see the resolution settings in the very beginning of the string. For example width="560" height="315" in the example below.
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/9eSHEkU_Ltg?start=215" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>Play around with those values and you'll get it smaller. For reference of the size you can create a blank canvas in Paint with set dimensions and decrease height or weight while maintaining aspect ratio.
Hope this helps, and good job on the latest show!- 2

MLW Azteca #12
This is Azteca Underground’s go-home show before Blood and Thunder!
The event will be produced by Salina de la Renta, who gets this power after being handpicked by the MLW Board of Directors.
The event will feature three matches, and go for 60 minutes. The main event of the show is the battle of big bruisers - ‘Mr. TNT’ Savio Vega and ‘The Blue Collar Brawler’ Texano. CRASH Cruiserweight champion Demonic Flamita will make his Azteca debut against ‘The Aerial Artist’ Zenshi.
Marty The Moth and Ivelisse will open the show. King Muertes and AR Fox are also rumoured to make an appearance!
Texano vs. Savio Vega
Zenshi vs. Demonic Flamita
Marty The Moth vs. Ivelisse
Azteca Prediction Key
1) Marty The Moth vs. Ivelisse
2) Zenshi vs. Demonic Flamita
3) Savio Vega vs. Texano -

Super cool to see a continuation/sequel! Take advantage of all the new capabilities here. Best of luck my friend.
Thanks! Didn't want to leave the diary without a season finale or conclusive ending. WIll experiment with the format for sure, so many features to try out...
15 hours ago, Dawn said:Really sick formatting, dude. I'll definitely keep an eye out for this one!
Glad you liked it! We have a light theme too now, and ability to have fluid width... Will get some time to finetune the template format

Great recap, will follow this one with great interst!

Just an idea on how to counter this issue.
Try to put your BBCode text on a forum similar to old GDS and copy the clean formatted text from the message preview to right here. I am not sure it will work, but worth a try? Ideally you could have done that on the old forum, but posting is locked there from what I can tell.Additionally, some converters say that some of your tags appear to be misaligned. Dunno if this will help, but hope you find the solution!

Great to see this one bro, right back into the mix.
Thanks, my man! It is even more interesting to start again on this new and updated forum. I'm still poking around and playing with the editor, so formatting may not be ideal.
Who am I fooling, I am sure that formatting is all over the place now that we can preview how it looks on tablets and mobile phones haha. Goes without saying, I'm formatting for desktop viewing. Feedback is appreciated, of course.
Also, while sitting here for a few hours I've discovered some cool things. There's one feature that every dynasty writer will like... now if you accidentally close the tab or browser altogether, you will not lose your text and formatting on the forum. This word gets thrown around a lot, but that's a gamechanger. Being able to see posts as un-registered users is also YUGE!
EDIT: Combined champions and active roster posts together, also fixing the spreadsheet width. Prolly enough for today! -
MLW World Heavyweight Championship
Alexander HammerstoneHeight: 6’2″
Weight: 251 lbs
Hometown: Phoenix, AZ
Style: Power Wrestler
Signature Move: Nightmare PendulumAlex dethroned Jacob Fatu in a brutal match at Fightland to become the new face of MLW. Since capturing the main title, Hammerstone vacated the MLW National Openweight championship he held for more than 850 days, conquered CONTRA in a War Chamber match, retained his title against 'Fiithy' Tom Lawlor, and now looks forward to taking his title on an international tour to make it a true world title. His next challenger is triple champion Bandido, who holds the ROH, PWG, and CRASH championships simultaneously!

Signature Moves: Moonsault, Iron ClawRoss and Marshall are the first ever two-time MLW Tag Team champions, beating Los Parks at Fightland. Von Erich boys have fought both CONTRA and Team Filthy to mark themselves as the very best tag team in MLW. Unfortunately, Marshall suffered an injury at the hands of 5150, so Kevin Von Erich, the father of champions, will have to use the 'Freebird Rule' to step in the ring and keep the gold in the family. If dirt sheets are to be believed, Von Erichs will defend their titles against another father and son - Ricky and Kerry Mortons.

VacantHammerstone vacated the title after capturing the main event crown, and Cesar Duran saw this as a unique opportunity to book a multi-man ladder match. Alas, his plans were ruined by Alex Kane and AR Fox who have beaten all competitors of that match and stole the belt, keeping it in their possession until the last MLW Fusion show. Rumors are flowing that 'The Suplex Assassin' Kane and 'The Heavyweight Hustle' Calvin Tankman will go 1-on-1 at Blood and Thunder to give us a new and legitimate champion!

Marina doesn't feel the pressure, she thrives under it, and leaves no prisoners in the ring. After reuniting with Salina de la Renta to beat King Muertes for the title, Low Ki looks to eliminate everyone who crosses his or Salina's way. Their relationship is strictly professional, but his rivalry with Muertes turned personal after Ki stole the brute's mask at the latest Azteca show. Ki also has a strained relationship with Konnan, whose 'street dogs' are always ready to strike...

Signature Move: La ParkinatorThe living lucha libre legend and his sons rarely compete without some gold draped over their masculine waists. Aligned with Cesar Duran, La Familia Real had an easy route to become the first ever Trios champions, but now they are finding themselves in a war with Konnan's 5150 group, who are here not to take part, but to take over. Two factions are set to fight at the upcoming Blood & Thunder event in Mexico, and if Cesar Duran returns in time, this will be a festival of violence!

Major League Wrestling: Styles Make Fights!
Hello everyone, and welcome to ‘Styles Make Fights’, the continuation of ‘MLW: Underground Revolution’ diary that I started last year with Kanegan.
I have decided to make a new thread to switch the formatting style and have more control over older posts. With the new changes, I feel like it will be better to keep the descriptions shorter. I intend to treat this save more as a TEW playthrough to keep things running faster, so anyone would be able to scan the diary faster. We are still in the year 2021, and heading towards Blood and Thunder supershow co-produced with CRASH Lucha Libre.
You’ll get a short recap of the events that transpired in the last few in-game months, with weekly shows being presented as recaps. Usually I wrote the show first on a piece of paper, and then stuck it in the game. Now I want to try a different approach, and flip the way I’ve been doing things all this time.
MLW Style and Philosophy
In case you are not familiar with this company, MLW presents a variety of wrestling styles in its matches, promoting hybrid wrestling. Here you will see luchadors, brawlers, technicians, mixed martial artists, powerhouses and psychopaths all under one roof. While win/loss records don’t work as well in pro wrestling, I’ll try to make a better job of it than AEW and have some respect for the concept of power rankings.
The MLW roster will consist of some mainstay, core characters, but will rely heavily on people from the outside joining the league for a set of TV tapings. I’ll try to limit the number of incoming talent, but ultimately, any free agent has a chance to compete in our squared circle.
MLW has taken a liking to divisions based on weight limits, and I’ll be respectful of that, only removing the ‘Featherweight’ weight limit from the newly minted women’s division. Also, the heel/babyface divide will be enforced loosely. We will not banish the basics of pro wrestling storytelling, but also will not shy away from booking people of the same disposition from time to time. After all, this is a league, and everyone will fight everyone!
I’ll get busy with a short roster breakdown in the next post and present to you our current champions - we had a fair few title changes already.
Thank you for checking this diary out, hope this fresh start will be enjoyable for all of us!
