  1. In this game, the worker generations happen through Dojos. If you have too many, you can turn worker regeneration off - if you do, you can still send people to train, if it's a performance center.

Because dojos are the means of generating workers this time around (by request), this is your answer.

    To fiddle with it:

    1. You can set them to generate more/less workers in editor.

    2. You can add more dojos if a game area is lacking a worker.

    3. You can turn dojos generation to "off" individually; you can also turn the sliders down so a dojo that gives 10 workers a year, instead gives 5.

Edit: I do wish there were some kind of "master switch", I do agree with the essence of what you're saying.

  2. Nobody would work for free, this isn't an internship. And money is easy to make in TEW2020. I do agree it would be more realistic if the workers lowered their asking price the longer they sit unsigned, and if their default popularity slowly went down due to lack of exposure, to compel their interest - but the game really just isn't that deep.

It would also have to consider, for example, the lifetime wealth and expenses every worker has acquired. Those who made good investments and are happy not working, or who just had a baby might want to sit home. Those who are in need of money might be more desperate. Those who are young and looking for a way in would be really hungry. Those older who understand they will generally be used to fill slots and put people over would be less interested. The game just doesn't calculate all of this, to my knowledge - I mean, it might? There has to be something driving the entire "major star" section to go into politics, and in TEW16, workers acquired Business skills and would abandon your company to start their own. So maybe wealth is checked and this time around used to send people to politics? I don't have any clue.

I agree with your idea in spirit. I am just not sure if it could be implemented.

  3. couldn't see if this had been suggested or was ever a feature, but for companies that don't check the no outsiders allowed rule, allow local talent to show up backstage. Obviously they can't be used on camera, but they could get into incidents that require your attention, or even an email generated after shows saying such and such was backstage.

NO. I don't want random dorks showing up and messing up my locker room, which is why I don't hire them. I think it would be okay to have "some" people show up (or try), then have a decision "let them in/stay, kick them out" - maybe the answer could have an effect on workers who have a positive or negative relationship with said worker. But I wouldn't want this kind of thing having the big impact I fear it would.

  4. True Born Loyalty with True Born on tends to do it - but sometimes there are other reasons - such as the worker not being good/over enough to get resigned, or the worker having a trait that makes them less likely to stay put. But even with "Sophie" avatars, I cannot get Loyal stars to sign exclusive deals. That doesn't mean the worker will never leave the company on their own, but it does mean they won't take a contract which prevents them from returning home.
  5. I don't mind workers having to be sufficient popularity in the region. It wouldn't help WWE to get Okada because his pop in the US would be like 55, and I am being VERY VERY generous in that 55.

I do wish we could make cash payments, but in TEW2016, the AI was really stingy and didn't value the cash. You still had to wind up doing 3 for 1 + lots of cash, then they would trade your worker to Hardcore Companies before using them.

The one thing I would like to see fixed, is workers on loan should never be able to be "Subletted" out this way. This makes no sense and it's unrealistic.

  6. I would like to see Dojos and Performance Centers tweaked just a bit. When you send someone to train, you should get a list of "To Train...".

The bigger your Dojo/Center, the more slots.

The maximum should be 3, with increases at 30%, 60%, and 90%.

When you send someone to development, these 3 skills will get Priority Development - They performance center will give extra weight to their development, but give less weight to the development of other skills.

Ideally, you can pick none and it will work the way it does now. Or you could pick a few to specialize the worker in, and have very few gains in other areas.

I think that you can get into the 90’s in a foreign region with medium and that feels a little high to me. Also if Medium takes you to 100 in your home area it kind of makes the next 4 levels pointless too.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I strongly agree. I think Medium should get you to 60-70, Big 71-80, Very Big 81-90, Enormous 91-100.</p><p> </p><p> This type of range per coverage seems like it would be about fair. This means broadcasters would need bigger deals to get bigger coverage as intended, and would make bigger ones more meaningful.</p>
  8. <p>If Jaded is right, this is nice. I would like to see a list of 5 people I send. Maybe someone not sent will feel scorned - maybe a few friends/enemies will have feelings/morale (my friend got the shot, my friend was robbed of his chance). Maybe get a notice where they present you 5 randoms, and you can send two. Maybe get Storyline Heat if they're in a storyline.</p><p> </p><p>

Then the other 3 might get a morale hit, negative incident, or story about feeling left out of the bigger picture. In the most severe cases, even demand to be on if you click "okay" and didn't highlight him/her, and threaten to leave if you don't gimme my time on TV.</p>

  9. Two graphics request for TV Shows:

    Z-ONE: Kings of Wrestling

    Z-ONE: Queens of Wrestling

    Broadcaster:

    Z-ONE+

Stables (for this company): I will use descriptors of the stable to inspire a logo.

BMFers: These folks don't mess around. They're a group of elites who, in spite of their differences, came together to take out the competition and get paid.

Das Commune: Das Commune, of which we are all a part and must pay, has come to challenge the power and redistribute the championships to proper representatives of Das Commune! (There is an intentional comedy to it, they don't take themselves too seriously but they pretend they do)

Dirtay Stank Grimes - Something like The Nasty Boys 1980s logo.

Hammer Heads - Something that resembles Final Fight - the leader, Mike Hammer, is my version of Mike Haggar. Maybe a logo that represents something he would've used in Saturday Night Slam Masters.

House of Krazies - This is a madhouse, an asylum, and it's out of control. Something reminiscent of padded rooms and chains.

Monsters, Inc. - Basic and big - just like the stable, three big dudes (two clones of Vader and a clone of The Big Show).

Horrible Horrors - Something like that Splatterhouse series or Jason Voorhees movies, Friday the 13th put together.

Old School Mafia - These guys hate the "entitlement and snowflakes" of "modern flippy self-smarks" and seek to deny the passing of the torch by giving these kids the beating their parents should've. Something like The Godfather or Scarface.

Rough and Rowdies - Something that Bunkhouse Bunk, Terry Funk, and Cactus Jack as a trio would've used. Some barbed wire wrapped around it.

Something Wicked - Evil Clowns. Something with a Joker Card.

The Bone Collective - The Undertaker meets Tales From The Crypt

The Eviscerators - Something kinda spiky that asks "What if Demolition and Powers of Pain became a stable"

The InJustice League - Captain Planet theme, but an Atomic symbol instead of a Tree. It's like a Poe's Law violating radical activist who advocates for Justice (or InJustice if need be).

The Next Age Outlaws - DX

Hell, Fire, and Brimstone - Imagine if Kane acquired James Mitchell and they recruited a few big dudes, to preach and deliver the glory of Hell, Fire, and Brimstone.

King Arthur's Court - King of the Ring style logo.

This company is almost 100% faction based.

  10. <p>I would like title belts forZ-ONE:</p><p>

    1. Z-ONE World Championship - similar to Big Gold. </p><p> </p><p>

    2. Z-ONE Intercontinental Championship - Similar to the AWA United States Championship pictured above, but the sideplates should be some kind of Earth.</p><p> </p><p>

    3. Z-ONE Tag - Similar to the WWF Tag Titles that were held by The Hart Foundation, Demolition, and Owen/Yokozuna.</p><p> </p><p>

    4. Z-ONE Trios - Similar to the NEVER Openweight Trios Title.</p><p> </p><p>

    5. Rampage Royale - more of a logo similar to the Royal Rumble or King of the Ring logo.</p><p> </p><p>

    6. Diamond in the Bank - a MITB Briefcase which contains a ring that can be cashed in for a title shot.</p><p> </p><p>

Each belt, if possible: 1 dark brown strap, one white strap, one purple strap. This company has the same Title Set for Men's and Women's championships. So, I will use the Purple one for women's, the white one for men's, and several "old school" themed characters will use brown.</p><p> </p><p>

I would also love a Championship Ring for each title. I recently saw a few rings someone had posted and they're pretty neat for the purposes they serve.</p><p> </p><p>

Thanks for anything, your work is always awesome, and your titles have revolutionized the way I play and see the game. I personify the style of the companies on aesthetics like the belts, and I think your work is some of the best. Cheers.</p><p> </p><p>

    Z-ONE</p><p> </p><p>

Global Kings of Wrestling (alliance):</p><p> </p><p>

    King of Wrestling</p><p>

    Queen of Wrestling</p><p>

    Tag Kings</p><p>

    Tag Queens</p><p> </p><p>

Something with a crown, black straps. I am reminded of King Mabel's King of the Ring title.</p>

  11. <p>Right, I knew two brothers - one a blond with caucasian white skin but black style curly hair except bright yellow, and a facial structure people would say looks black. But his brother, had very white people hair, face shapes - but his skin was kind of an olive color and his hair jet black. Skin almost like a slightly darker Italian or Greek. Nobody believed they were full blooded brothers.</p><p> </p><p>

Then there's the situation of my English professor in college; white parents, grandparents, etc. Born black - having one French ancestor in the 1700s who was black, and every few generations, produces a child who is very very dark skinned. </p><p> </p><p>

TS: When making a request, it's best to give details. What kind of hue do you want to be used for the skin color? Maybe look up a few color words, and use them to provide a range? What kind of hair texture and haircut? What kind of jacket or tank top piece, if any? That will be more useful than "someone half-asian, half-black", etc.</p><p> </p><p>

It's also better if you can bring in a real life figure "Skin kinda like Easy-E under bright lighting" (which made him look a little lighter than his actual in-person appearance and pictures of him in normal lighting), "Face shape similar to Barrack Obama without the dimples and a snarky mean look on his face, hair just like Bushwick Bill when he had hair". Using imagery that people can google up "Okay kinda like this, but with this and this. Got it."</p><p> </p><p>

    Cheers.</p>

  12. Content Risk - reducing it should give a penalty proportional to what the product expects. Episodic Entertainment fans would enjoy a "Very Low Risk" cage match, while Wrestling Nerd Nirvana fans should feel betrayed by such an insult.

Injury Risk - reducing it should give a penalty proportional to how many steps from the default "Risk" you are reducing it.

I also support a bonus for increasing the risk.

  13. Idk. I think HBK vs Razor is the greatest ladder match of all time and that risk factor is nothing compared to what we see now with ladder matches.

Maybe something like this would be tied to fans expected content from the product and maybe trends.

Maybe content risk can be freely moved from low risk to very high risk having an effect of fans depending on product. But the minimums fir injury risk should stay. There is always a factor of someone getting hurt when foreign objects are used. No way should a very low risk singles match and a very low risk cage match exist at the same time.

But then again the first was Shawn vs Bret, and it was almost not used. It's almost like the ladder was in the way of a normal match. The fans had no expectation set for them of what a ladder match should be, so no ding. After the first TLC, the standard was known.

As for injury risk, I think it should be proportional to the amount of how frequent the object is used and in what way it's used. A very low risk cage match would be like the one with Sid vs Bret Hart, or Flair vs Hogan with Mr. T as the referee in WCW. Or that one with Hogan, Sting, Luger, Macho vs Dungeon of Doom. Those were booked as very low risk indeed.

But when an expected risk is reduced, fans (having expectations) should be disappointed. So the match penalty.

If I wanted to "cheat", I would save scrum until I got my rating and no injury, so "cheating" is also not really a good argument. People who just want the match without the risk will just save scrum. People who want a lower risk than default have no options but to cheat.

This is why I avoid ALL such match types. Some, I can't run because Content Risk upsets my broadcaster deal, but others I can't run because Injury Risk upsets some of my roster and the guys it doesn't, I don't want to damage that way over a single match. As-is, if we use a 16 minute "All Out, Slow Build" match, we get injuries with a high enough frequency. Add the risk of a cage or thumbtacks and it's save scrumming time. I think a better built game discourages save scrumming, rather than using it as the only "out".

It's also false to say EVERY time Foley broke out thumbtacks, all the viewers tuned out, got angry, and he sent people to the emergency room for 2 years. Just like it's false to say there were zero "Sex Appeal" angles that really worked (a few really did). That's the issue I have - the product rules are so tight there's no room for variation, leaving you to book the same show formula over and over and over.

  14. I would love to make custom matches with things like Cage, Barbed Wire, etc. that have less than the default Injury and Content - but at the price of a slightly lower rating from disappointing fans. "This was a ladder match but they hardly used it... He broke out thumbtacks but it was only used for one spot at the end of the match..." - Just because there's a weapon doesn't mean it will be heavily used. Of course, this means giving fans less than what they expected. It shouldn't be enough of a penalty that it makes even having the match worthless, but it should get a lower score. A 100 rated Thumbtacks Match with "Low Injury Risk" might get penalized to 90. Add "Low Content Risk" and it's dinged to 85. Still enough to not lose popularity, but also a far cry from the match it could've been.
  15. Attitude is probably the most worthless product, and it's certainly one of the two that betrays its own claims.

    - Must have eye candy

    - Penalties for eye candy

    PICK ONE!!

    -No violent matches

Wait, you mean the PG Era, right?

    - No lengthy angles

I introduce you to... The Rock.

    - No lengthy matches

Clearly, the dev didn't watch Wrestling during the Attitude Era.

But then again, Wrestling Nerd Nirvana hates deathmatches (I guess Adam Ryland has never heard of AEW either?), matches must be 20 minutes, AND no comedy gimmicks for stars? Okay, now that I have reasonably proven the products are not based on Real World companies, do not reflect them, then we should NEVER EVER again see any argument "but in the real world", because even the products don't line up.

Xtreme Adult Filth cannot use most comedy on stars or major stars AND must have clean finishes? Wow. Sure, dude.

None of the products really reflect the booking of any real world company. Ruthless Aggression better describes both the Attitude Era and the RG Era. No comedy but I guess it intends Hurricane and Goldust to be given a new custom gimmick that doesn't carry the penalties, thus we do have the ability in contracts to make comedy/gimmicky gimmicks that do not have any penalties, for those extremely rare cases (though I still give them penalties when losing to legitimate, dominant, bad ass, and realistic).

    There are only two solutions:

    1. Give us the ability to make our own products already.

    2. Thumbtacks, Cage join the "Low Injury" category with Ladders and do not count as "Hardcore". Reduce content risk to "Average".

  16. I wish when workers go into politics, take breaks for music or MMA or whatever; that during their service, occasional stories would generate about (1) whether they're doing a good/bad job and (2) whether the public likes/dislikes their stuff. This should give them popularity and momentum shifts accordingly. This allows them to come back to the roster impacted by their time, and gives a sense of how they did.

If they do really good, they leave the business to become a full time politician or musician or MMA fighter. If they do bad, they come back to Wrestling sooner, but have hits to Popularity and Momentum. Also, maybe toxic "was impeached from office" or one of those bonuses "performed well in politics".

I wonder if Movie Stars, Rock Stars, Professional Boxers, Etc. should have a chance to permanently go into, or return to that line of work and leave the business if they have a few major wins or big sell out shows.

Imagine if your next day's News tells you that your guy won the World Title in MMA and is leaving the business. Maybe once a year, roll him in a fight - if he wins, he stays retired. If he loses (thus losing title), he has a chance to either return to wrestling or retire rich. Just to unify it with those Attributes, and give more meaning to them.

I wonder if there could be a chance for anyone going into those fields to pick up associated Personality as a result? Maybe a Music person has a chance to become a Horndog, Unfaithful, or Egotistical while an MMA guy has a chance to become an Agitator or Bad Ass Reputation. And it shouldn't just be negative attributes on the line. Maybe someone loses a negative attribute because losing an MMA fight humbled his ego, or winning the fight and caring more about his reputation made him socially conscious so he won't be an Agitator anymore.

Lastly - if someone has positive relationships with someone, and goes off to do something, maybe a chance their friend either goes with them or "supports them", so they gain or lose morale as their friend is successful or failed in said outside interest Music, MMA, Politics, whatever? That would be neat. Or if an enemy of the person gained morale when they fail at an MMA fight or in politics (haha, you suck!).

I would love an Attribute pair for each thing a worker might leave for, one that makes them more inclined, more likely to be successful, more likely to stay in that - and another which makes them less inclined, shorter tours that give them less boosts for big successes, less likely to have big successes. This would not only make some people, well, more inclined than others as part of "who they are", but it would let database makers (and in-game players) "cheat" this. Oh, no so fast! Because "less inclined to politics" doesn't mean he won't go to politics, it means he's less likely - and if he does, he's more likely to fail and come back a damaged product for it. But the good news is, he's less likely to go, and more likely to come back sooner to be rebuilt. And if something could cause their personalities to evolve, he might come back better or worse for it.

As of now, I feel like leaving for politics is this game's version of the plane crash because you can lose your top row in a short period of time, and it can happen multiple times. Even to the same person. So please, let's spice it up, give it some meaning, a little interaction.

"Boss, I wanna go into politics/music/MMA."

A: "NO!" worker dislikes you, might (or not) listen if high silver tongue.

B: "Great!" Worker remembers your support, and leaves.

C: "Are you sure?" Worker considers bribe or asks for contract term such as Creative Control, or a promise "3 Main Event victories on Above Average or better events within the next5 months!" - every qualifying win counts to the promise and he is remotivated to be a wrestler - for now. Each qualifying event which passes that he doesn't get his promised win, he's more likely to demand the next one is it, or he's leaving the day after for his project - and gains negative relationship/morale with you. This would be a way for a signed worker, later, to demand something like a Hiring Veto or Creative Control - but it would be you offering the incentive to deter them. Maybe one of those offers being accepted could prevent or give a much smaller chance of such "go into politics" shenanigans again. I would imagine a worker as "pulling a shenanigan to get more out of me", and sometimes I would cave and other times tell them "good luck!" and change plans.

I would love stuff like this. Or even the ability with "Talk to Wrestler" to attempt to ask them to go into politics/music/etc or to talk them out of a tour.

Final note - maybe if someone loses a Combat Sport, Martial arts, Boxing, MMA, etc. fight, there should be full fatigue and a chance for injury? Just a thought.
