  1. <p>I have a dilemma in my SWF save.</p><p> </p><p> Angry Gilmore and Spencer Spade are feuding, Spade has been relentless about how Gilmore is washed up and hasn't had success in SWF in awhile. Gilmore is going over at Supreme Challenge and then Spade is going to give him respect and start a path towards a face turn within the next couple of months.</p><p> </p><p> Gilmore and Jessie recently divorced, Spade's current character and SWF fans would likely expect that to be brought up in this feud as Spade has been pretty relentless about Gilmore. The thing is, going this deep would probably make it reasonably unrealistic that a) Spade and Gilmore give respect after the match b) Spade makes a face turn in the near future.</p><p> </p><p> I know that inevitably, it doesn't effect the save and I can turn Spade with no issue but I'm wondering what people would expect. Would you buy Spade as a face if you know that only a couple months ago he went that deep on a personal issue? Would you expect SWF to not mention something like that immediately and keep it for later?</p>
  2. Looking for a team name for Donte Dunn and Lenny Brown that isn't just that they're both black and have excellent chemistry with each other.

You can have them fight again but you can't use the note after the first time.</p>
  4. If a wrestler has multiple matches in one night, what is the effect on stamina as the night goes on? Will he be showing the effects in the last match if he has a couple long matches earlier in the card?

This is my child company:<p> </p><p> <img alt="0NEcfIN.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/0NEcfIN.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Why are they getting such low show ratings considering the two match ratings? I don't think the lesser rated angle is affecting it that much, based on the other screenshot I'll post below.</p><p> </p><p> I remember I changed the product intensity and danger from 70% to 50% because I was getting too many injuries, and from then on the show quality seems to have dropped. I'm aware that when you adjust a product it takes time for the fanbase to readjust, but I changed the settings way over a year ago. Strangely both the settings I changed actually changed back without me doing anything, but the low show ratings have continued. I mean, look at this:</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="mOEMA87.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/mOEMA87.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> I don't understand how that show has only scored an 85. I feel like I may have altered something that's affecting it, so any help would be appreciated.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Aren't the ratings based having three matches so there might be some form of penalty for only have two where it counts the third match as a zero and cuts that 10% off the grade?</p>

If you're still looking for ideas, I had Black Hat Bailey start managing in addition to his road agent duties, and he ended up having amazing chemistry with Marshall Dillon. <p> </p><p> I've kept Des around the upper midcard area, but he might be my most improved worker overall. He can very much hold his own on the mic, and his psych, basics, etc. are getting into the upper 80s. I could push him to the moon right now, but I never run out of ways for him to just miss out on the NA title. The plan is to eventually pair him up with Ross Henry when I call him up, turn him heel, and have him finally win the NA title. </p><p> </p><p> IMO Remo and Khoklov are career heels, so I could easily imagine them never having faced off outside of battle royals and what not.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Davids has a short term feud but at Supreme Challenge, he's putting Wade Orson over (because I like Orson a lot even though he's nothing insane in terms of actual ability) </p><p> </p><p> I picked up Floyd Goldworthy right before The World is Watching and now I've got him in a storyline leading up to the tournament. Goldworthy tried to recruit Bruce but Bruce doesn't like his heel tactics and whatnot. Bruce has matches but can't seem to get anyone to sponsor him in the tournament but Goldworthy continues to recruit. Bruce is getting ready for a match and Goldworthy comes in and pats him on the back right before commercial. </p><p> </p><p> Bruce and Davids have a match on Supreme TV. Bruce is about to finish Davids when Goldworthy comes down to the ring and starts clapping for Bruce and cheering him on. Bruce is distracted and tries to get Goldworthy to go away. Once Goldworthy gets on the apron, he hits Bruce and then Davids spears him. Davids and Goldworthy stomp on Bruce and Davids hand is raised (Davids is already heel so no turn).</p><p> </p><p> Goldworthy announces Davids as his pick and Bruce demands a rematch with Davids where Goldworthy will have his second client Marat Khoklov come and attack Bruce to set up Khoklov/Bruce at Master of Puppets.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="The Dynamite Sid" data-cite="The Dynamite Sid" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41303" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Huh. I'm aiming to do basically the same thing with Valiant. I want him to hopefully supplant Jack Bruce as the face of the company but I want to wait at least a year, maybe two, before I finally have him win the big one and claim the SWF Championship<p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Valiant's match ratings have been lower than I expected and he's not showing up as a good figurehead so I'm passing the torch from Bruce to Hernandez eventually but I think Valiant will pick up a couple title runs over the next few years while Hernandez gets established in the role. Morgan will likely carry the match at Supreme Challenge so we'll see if the title can boost Valiant enough to get consistent 90's matches instead of the 80-85's he's been putting up.</p>
  7. Under lifestyle all the sliders say that they have an impact on their performance. What about religious? Is there any impact on performance other than the random incidents mentioned in the game?
  8. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="madjock" data-cite="madjock" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41303" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>have Remo and Marat had any altercations or matches against each other?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> If you're asking about in canon I would assume that they have never had a match since I think by the time Remo was in the main event, Khoklov was gone. If not, they were both heels anyway.</p>
  9. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="sabataged" data-cite="sabataged" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41303" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Nice. Ya I feel like all my "up and coming" stars are all heels. The only big time faces that are home grown are Valiant and Jimmy Hernandez. My other high level faces are all stolen from else where like Rocky Golden, Wolf Hawkins and Nicky Champion.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I do like Valiant and Hernandez though and enjoy booking them. Valiant has been in an overarching story since the beginning about him finally winning his first SWF title and I've really enjoyed booking it. He has lost number 1 contender's matches. Made it far in tournaments and battle royals to fall short and has never gotten a title match for the entire save. He's been turned on by his protege Spade, attacked by Vengeance and sent into a long losing streak.. basically everything to derail him over almost a year and a half. Now the booking has made it look like Jimmy Hernandez is about to leapfrog him for the title leading up to Supreme Challenge. He's finally going to breakthrough and win the title off Joey Morgan (who has been booked strong and has had insane matches to finally bring the title prestige to 100) and get his "Supreme Moment".</p><p> </p><p> Heels are usually more fun because they are generally driving the conflict. When you're booking, you probably notice the heel more because you're like "oh the heel does this to the face to move the story along". The face is usually reactionary in the story telling of a feud and good faces generally are just overcoming odds. I can see why it's harder to get excited for faces but I don't know if that's something exclusive to SWF.</p>
  10. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="SIser187" data-cite="SIser187" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41303" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>A thought off the top of my head for Des is you could put him in a stable with a capable talker cutting promos for him(he's not bad at it per say but a better talker helps). Maybe a reborn Chase Agency(A rename wouldn't be a bad idea though) with Remo(who again, not the worst talker but give him a manager and I think he really grows into the next level as your alpha heel) as the main client(to give it teeth and credibility right off the bat) and then you can put Des as the second and then you can always find the right pair of young, hungry guys in a team to put with them and see what he does in a role like that. A heel Des that's corrupted by the money feels like a natural foil for Joey Morgan or a Valiant or Gillmore even. You also have potential feuds with people like Rogue or even Brandon James himself if you don't mind either of them working the face spot. Idea is if he does well enough as the second in command you give him more to do later and see how he takes off in that sort of spot. But character wise in this incarnation I'd make him a spoiled athlete living the high life, flaunting it a little, and then just doing whatever it takes from a mental standpoint to keep this new found lifestyle to give him some depth and add an element of desperation at times from a character standpoint.<p> </p><p> It's a thought though.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I'm basically doing that James idea with Allen with a little twist. Allen is being "controlled" by James who is paying him to demolish people (not that Allen needs the motivation). Now James is starting to have a problem keeping him under control and struggles to stop Allen from beating down opponents. My next PPV is Master of Puppets and I have a "manager's pick" tournament where eight managers pick their client and the winner of the tournament makes the main event of Supreme Challenge. Allen is going to turn on James when he doesn't give up his spot for the title turning James face and setting up a match for them at SC.</p><p> </p><p> Since most of my stories are ending at SC, Davids will probably pair off with Rogue or Gilmore (both faces at this point) but I'm not super thrilled about him. Just ending up liking other guys to push I think. He's the only one of my gatekeepers that isn't in that spot because of time decline though.</p>
  11. Check the Figurehead screen, he's probably a poor choice for figurehead that is overshadowed by other guys in your main event scene
  12. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Rebby" data-cite="Rebby" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41303" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I can't seem to get Des Davids out of my tag team division. He always ends up there. He was with American Machine and then went solo briefly when I let Machine go, then he floundered in a couple tags before he went on a run with Marshall Dillon (which is where he is now).<p> </p><p> I'd love to give him a solo push with one of my midcard titles but he's like second or third in my mind at any given time.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> In my game, he is firmly stuck in the "upper midcard gatekeeper" position. I had him set up for a big return that would lead to him and Mikey Lau getting over but then Lau signed with USPW and I found Davids underwhelming. I turned him heel once his gimmick rating started to fall and had him take out Wade Orson so that Orson can recover from a minor injury off screen and they'll end their feud at Supreme Challenge.</p><p> </p><p> Seems like I've got a lot of people in his position. Heels with not much to do so they get in short feuds with faces that need a debut feud. Then they start beating enhancement talents in the meantime.</p>

  15. Does anyone know if there's a way to move guys from one developmental company to another directly or do you have to call them to the main roster and then send them down?

Am I speaking crazy Matt Hardy nonsense?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Use "Borrow from Development" on the booking screen of the show to have guys from your developmental work on your main roster. If Des goes under 90 he'll no longer be suited to that gimmick. I would render to guess that the feature that shuffles skills by a few points at the start of each game probably changed Des from a 91 athleticism to something in the high 80s. Or maybe his injury dropped his athleticism a few points.<p> </p><p> It's not a huge problem if he's already playing the gimmick to a legendary level.</p><p> </p><p> You can just go into the editor and bump his athleticism skill above 90 if you really just don't want that note anymore.</p><p> </p><p> Or if you want to be realistic hire a dirty doctor and try to get him on the juice so he can hopefully become more athletic...</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> His athleticism is at 91 and hasn't moved since the beginning. His "Legitimate" performance rating is a 39 though so maybe that's doing it? Athletic Ability is the only thing that's required for the ability so is there another stat contributing?</p><p> </p><p> I think that's the most frustrating thing is that by the looks of everything, he shouldn't have that note.</p>
  19. Over a year in. He starts with the injury but when he came back he's always had the "not suited to his gimmick" note
  20. So Des Davids' bio definitely mentions his athletic background but it says that he is not suited to that gimmick? Can that be fixed? It's rated Legendary but doesn't fit which is driving me insane.
  21. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="shipshirt" data-cite="shipshirt" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41194" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I tend to get better match ratings by just keeping a match "Regular" instead of adding a match aim to it. In fact, if I take, say Tommy Cornell vs Wolf Hawkins I got an A* on their title match just set as Regular where, when I set up an Epic rematch it was rated an A but a few ticks lower (like maybe a 93). I'm not really seeing any boosts or points to using Match Aims, other than what's required of my Product setting. Does anyone else experience this? <p> </p><p> I almost think there should be a little penalty for a match just being "Regular" to encourage use of Match Aims more.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> It depends on the product. I seem to get higher ratings on Story Telling matches than Regular. Epic needs the crowd to be at the right level and probably other factors to get a bump. I wouldn't be using on guys that can pull 90's regularly.</p>
  22. <p>So I finally decided how to get James involved in my game (Feb 2017). Might lead to a face turn eventually.</p><p> </p><p> Right now I've got a hot feud between James Hernandez (Face), Jefferson Stardust (Face, turned him at the beginning of my game over a year ago) and Primus Allen (Heel). Hernandez and Jefferson were finding themselves being stuck in tag teams and both had singles aspirations. They challenged each other to a match but Primus Allen crashed the party and laid them both out. Jefferson and Hernandez start looking for Allen but he avoids them for a little while.</p><p> </p><p> A couple weeks before the next PPV, Allen attacks Jefferson and Hernandez and put Jefferson through a table. As medics go to take Jefferson away, the camera zooms out to see a pleased Brandon James with a stack of cash. James laughes as he slaps the cash against Allen's chest and says "not a bad investment at all". </p><p> </p><p> Hernandez gets a match against Primus at the PPV. Primus dominates most of the match but Hernandez get a short flurry in and rolls Primus up for the upset victory. James hits the ring and the two on one beatdown of Hernandez leads to Jefferson returning with the steel chair equalizer and clearing the ring.</p><p> </p><p> Now we're building up to the next PPV and a tag match. Not sure where I'm going to take this feud because I want to continue it for two more events since I'll have a few guys leaving other feuds at that time but right now, James is relevant again!</p>
  23. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="The Dynamite Sid" data-cite="The Dynamite Sid" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41303" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Brandon is one of my faves and I'm never at a loss with something for him. If you've really hit that much of a creative wall with the guy I would say turning him face seems logical. Start him off feuding with Allen and go from there. See what possibilities spring to mind. In my mind, babyface Brandon smashing a mouthy heel (Eric, Starr, Spade, Awesomeness) is always a crowd pleaser<p> </p><p> He's so versatile I would definitely say keep him around, even if you are starting to cycle him down the card</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> After writing it out I feel better about turning him face. Both him and Angry Gilmore seem to find themselves as bit players in story lines lately but Gilmore has the advantage of great psych so having him bounce around builds my guys. James/Allen building towards Supreme Challenge definitely sounds like a solid program though.</p>
  24. <p>It's Feb 2017 in game and Brandon James' contract just came up. He's a solid guy in the main event scene but Morgan and Hernandez have pushed him out of the top 5 for national battles. His matches are suffering because he's not in a storyline (lots of 79's lately) and he's in the "creative has nothing for you" rut that I can't seem to dig out of. He's 40 but his skills aren't in time decline.</p><p> </p><p> I like the guy, he was in the main event with Rogue at Supreme Challenge and they put on a 94 rated Last Man Standing match so I know he can carry shows if he's included in a hot story line but I just don't know what to do with him. Turn him face and have him put over Allen? Have him go over someone like Crippler? Keep him heel and insert him into a feud just to be there?</p><p> </p><p> So what do you do with James? Obviously a good worker but I just can't seem to find anything for him.</p>
  25. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Rebby" data-cite="Rebby" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41303" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>He's useful but not mandatory. SWF is already winning in the star quality rankings at the beginning. I still don't have Marat and I'm over a year into it. I might sign him NOW that I've established myself with him.<p> </p><p> I took Liberty from USPW and he's useless in the ring. I imagine that's how Marat will be for me if I sign him. Good angles but useless in a PPV match. Bear and Primus regularly get 80's and 90's in their individual match rating.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> After looking I was clearly mistaken and thought SWF was last on that list in my game so now I can definitely see more reasons that you wouldn't want Khoklov. Thinking about it, if Remo was still with the company, Khoklov would have literal nothing to do but job to guys like Jimmy Hernandez on their way up the card. I don't think he's useless in the ring for me though (He's 44th on the Power 500, Jack Bruce was 45th and my highest rank was Rogue at 33rd)</p><p> </p><p> I just finished my first year (my first year ever of an entertainment based company and I started it the day tew2016 came out so it's been a slow ride) and Primus is pushing to main event. Bear is getting a slower build working as Spencer Spade's bodyguard. He's sitting in the midcard and will stay there for awhile since the heels are starting to take over the upper reaches of the card. Unless Primus doesn't sign when his contract comes up <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
