It's May 1988 and I'm over a year in. I'm pretty happy with my franchise players, cool seeing Undertaker already making it in 1988. Also crazy despite being the WCW World Champion Dusty is still behind Hennig as the lead babyface.

Batista. Triple H. HBK. Angle) are all kind of floundering in their roles of carrying the company or even their brand. As the majority of them have a popularity cap in the high 80s, put on consistently mediocre matches or in HBKs case have already entered time decline.</p><p> </p><p> Would it then be weird to change MMA Shinsuke into Swagsuke, Nicky into Dolph Ziggler. Goober Reality star Miz into the A lister just go get some actual life into the main event or is that too unrealistic ?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I don't think so to some extent. I'm in 1988 WCW right now and I'm pushing Brian Pillman in his Hollywood Blondes gimmick and giving Cactus Jack a run as Dude Love. </p><p> </p><p> Its sometimes fun to see how the gimmicks would have been like a few years before it happened IRL.</p>

<p>So like a complete idiot I didn't book Miami Madness in Miami. Non the less it was a decent show with only the lack of color commentary letting me down. Luckily for me Bobby Heenan begins work next week to join Jim Ross and Tony Schiavone. He's mainly being used as Dude Love as a enhancement guy with the occasional tag match and promo on the pre show to build his skills. Planing on re-branding him to Cactus Jack once he is more solid. Perhaps even as the Four Horsemen's wild card or hired hitman.</p>

Dixie Carter couldn't be more desperate for ideas as her company Total Non-Stop Action was on the verge of bankruptcy. Ignoring all ideas of re-branding, or bringing in more indie talent or selling the company Dixie had a different idea. On January the 1st 2017 TNA made the announcement that they were introducing another 2 sides to the ring. For the [CENSOR]ing first time in wrestling history an eight sided ring existed. [CENSOR] me an eight sided ring. To kick off this incredibly stupid idea they wanted to kick it off with a TNA Heavyweight match between Eddie Edwards and Broken Matt Hardy. As you probably guessed the eight sided ring did make a black hole. I mean how could it not. [LONG SIGHHHHHHHHHHH......] With Broken Matt Hardy standing in the ring with King Maxel a random black hole formed and both father and child were gone. What the [CENSOR] is this storyline? Yeah 2011 was a pretty awful year for them. But I consider it one of their best because I didn't analyze anything. I watched what they put on and 2012 became my favorite year of wrestling, largely due to TNA. To see where they're at now saddens me very very much. I'm of the small group that doesn't like Broken Matt & Brother Nero. I miss the old Jeff. I miss AJ, Angle, Joe, Aries, RVD, Anderson, Storm, Roode, Sting, Bully, Daniels, Kaz, hell even Hogan. That was my golden age in wrestling, and to see the difference in attendance after 4-5 years and how little is left of the TNA I used to be so passionate about just makes me sad. Yeah they're doing great in terms of having actual storylines again, but guys like EC3, Moose, Bennett, Maria, Lashley, Drew, Eli etc seemed to come while all the ones previously listed left, and I can't stand it.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Jeff and Matt ran their course and ran their gimmick into the ground, and god Willow was awfull. The Broken Saga has saved their careers IMO and will lead to an awesome comeback for the Hardyz. I will agree with you that I miss the names mentioned but hopefully Corgan can lead the current guys well enough so they will stick around and new names will grow with them. </p><p> </p><p> EC3 vs. Eli Drake for the TNA Heavyweight Championship please.</p><p> </p><p> I've watched since they begun the weekly ppvs and haven't stopped since (I had a month break back in 2012 but thats it.) They've had an amazing year but yeah they need to rebrand, Matt deleting TNA is a way to do it.
