  1. Gunther (or WALTER) fully deserves to dethrone the Honky Tonk Man as longest reigning IC champion, he's made the title great again. Many stars went to war over that belt, and the battlefield is the Ring General. From Sheamus, to Ali, to McIntyre, to Chad Gable. Everybody has had a great match with Gunther, even Matt Riddle. He's made a title that was once looked at as important as the European or Hardcore title, back to being the Workhorse title and he is exceptional at beating the ever living hell out of his opponents. I'm not sure who will dethrone him, but it's safe to say I think he's made the belt great again. Which is no easy task.

  2. So I guess no one caught that the program with AR Fox and the Mogul Embassy was scrapped because now Fox has heat for not being able to work Wembley? Because Fox can't work overseas and hasn't since 2016. But he is the one who has heat? How is it that TK's booking blunder is Fox's fault? Like, reports say that AR wasn't "forthcoming" about his inability to go out of the US, but one would think that since Fox hasn't wrestled on AEWs previous non US events, that there would be enough reason. Idk, but I'm putting this on Tony.

To quote Bowling for Soup, high school never ends. It's some weird flaw of our psychology or something that even when we know better, drama gossip is like catnip. We're more interested to hear about how the quarterback got into it with the head cheerleader than if our team won.

Britt Baker, she's the prom queen. Don Callis, Captain of the chess team. Orange Cassidy, the clown, MJF, the quarterback, seen it all before... I want my money back.

(sidenote: it was hard picking a clown lol)

Things are slightly better on the Collision side of things. When in doubt, just send Mercedes Martinez out there. It still needs a LOT of work, but things are slowly progressing.

What they NEED to do (aside from, you know, only having one women's singles match per show) is capitalize on the fact that Julia Hart and Harley Cameron are getting a lot of exposure from their associated factions. Either one would be a perfectly fine challenger for Statlander at All-In. The former in particular opens up some possibilities...

"Buddy is distracting the ref and... NO! Julia Hart just spit the black mist at Statlander! The House Of Black is going to steal this one and.... Wait, the lights went out! This can't be part of the House Of Black's plan, can it? The light are going back on, it's..."

"IT'S DANHAUSEN! Danhausen just took out Buddy with a shot down below! Julia Hart is beside herself! SHE'S JUST BEEN CURSED! And she walks right into Saturday Night Fever from Statlander!"

Danhausen is missing from AEW and needs to come back to fix things. He is the true GOAT and you cannot change my mind.

  5. The ladies main eventing back to back Dynamite would be a great sign of change that looks like the future looks bright for the division...

Is what I would say, if it didn't come from both critics and responses. It's not organic and feels like it's all a response. Nothing is being built, nothing is really going forwards, and it's all the status quo. The women's world and TBS champions have changed, but their booking and lack of direction hasn't.

  6. Personally, I think Roman does himself real well with his matches. Which is hard to believe if you watched him post Shield. I'm intrigued on how they'll make Uso v Uso match happen because it hasn't ever happened yet, at least to my knowledge. And this is all well and fine.

Honestly, it is hard for me to hate Roman Reigns now, especially after what he had to go through, going through leukemia remission and since he came back from there he is the guy we all want to see lose, and every time it's even bigger. He's around more often than Brock was as champ, and the more he shows up, he carries the entire show. I know he's not everyone's favorite, but he's earned up there for me. He's the king of "Slow Build".

    Worker Name: Adoh Burns

    Short Name: Burns

Worker Bio: Before the mask, Devin Mannefred is an unremarkable strong man with not a lot of upside. But on a rare sight, he met Drakkon Promstein on a random booking chance, he took his word and put on a mask that Promstein had brought and he became Adoh Burns. The mask he wears is one of three people to form "AfterLife" with himself teaming with Havets Mastare in a fine tall and short tag style for the most part they compliment one another fairly well. He also displays some control of pyrokinesis. While he is one tall mother hubbard, he needs to keep working hard if he's going to be anymore than a big body in a group.

Worker Bio: An odd character indeed, Stephan Boonie grew up watching American wrestling from his home of Sweden. The issue is, as by himself, he has no look whatsoever. One random day, he was found by Drakkon Promstein and was in need of a tag partner and was given a mask. Thus Havets Mastare was born and Stephan Boonie was gone. With the mask, Mastare is a little more intimidating, but at 5'8 and 185lbs theres not a lot to fear from this, except his wild and wacky attacks and mannerisms. He is eccentric, and his promos almost have no rhyme nor reason, almost like a wrestler from the 80's, but it's taken pretty light-hearted with a gimmick that helps him aid a dark master. He now usually teams with Adoh Burns and uses great innovation, such as running on Adoh Burns for a form of assisted moonsault. He is a super-fan of wrestling and seems dedicated to learn how to be an even greater wrestler.

  8. Me and my wife have been getting back into Team Fortress 2, thanks with their new Summer *SEAL* Update. And then hitting new AllTime players and it just fills me with joy. Yes it's 16 years old, yes Valve has more or less given up on it, yes it's not the best FPS, but to me, it brings me never ending belly laughs for many reasons.

Yeah but if we are going by when the time was made, wouldn't this Donkey Kong be the son of DK Jr who was the son of Cranky Kong?

This is why I like communication, and proof read with this lol. Yes, that is what I'm trying to emulate here.

  10. 2 hours ago, MidKnightDreary said:

DK was a villain in his first appearance

Yes, but in canon that I'm going with, DK isn't a real villain but not a hero neither. This is because in games that happened during Smash 64, he was having good ol time with Mario and friends. Effectively, I'm naming the Wildcard DK as DK Jr, and (when made) Cranky Kong as a civilian, but Mario will be his nemesis, as *he* is the original DK.

  11. Alright to start with this whole thing, I'm starting with define heroes, villains, plenty of anti-heroes and wildcards.

    Heroes:

    Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Link, Ness

    Villains:

Dark Samus Giant DK, Metal Mario, Fighting Polygons, Master Hand, Crazy Hand

    Anti-Heroes:

    Kirby, Samus, Fox, Captain Falcon

    Wildcards:

    Donkey Kong, Pikachu, Jigglypuff

Now obviously, this list will get bigger as I move on to the later Smash games, and yes I'm aware Crazy Hand didn't debut until Melee, but an extra villain wouldn't hurt in the early stages. Anyway, you could be asking why the Anti-Heroes and Wildcards are who they are. Well, Samus and Falcon are both bounty hunters and while they are generally fighting on the side for good, they in reality have no real relation with any of the cast (sans Samus with Ridley later in Smash 4 and her Dark self). Fox, and Star Fox as a team are mercenaries, and loyal to themselves and their employer. And Kirby? Well, Kirby is a menace and eats damn near everything! But he's a pretty cool pink guy, huh? He's no villain, but in my opinion, he's not a hero.

The Wildcards are indeed animals, and pocket monsters. Sure, Pikachu is a hero to the TV show, or our favorite Pokemon game, but Smash's Pikachu and Jigglypuff are completely neutral and only loyal to themselves, as normal Pokemon are until they're caught. DK is different though, as we are aware he's generally friendly to Mario and friends, and that will remain true. But DK doesn't take kindly to those he doesn't know or care for. FOR THEY MAY STEAL HIS BANANA'S!

What do you guys think? Feedback is plenty welcome.

People seem to have a weird faith in Microsoft's ability to run Activision-Blizzard any better when their track record says otherwise. They have studio specifically for making Halo games and yet 343 can't even manage consistent updates to Halo Infinite. Not to mention how Microsoft have bungled their ownership of Rare from day one. Censored Conker remaster for the OG Xbox, making them the main Kinect devs, refusing to greenlight a myriad of ideas that aren't Sea of Thieves, my grievances go on and on.

I'm not exactly crying for Sony digging their own grave on this one, but all that happened is one greedy conglomerate defeated another greedy conglomerate.

Tell that to Redfall. Or Too Human. Or Crackdown 2. Or The Order: 1886. Or Lair.

I know what you mean by some blind loyalty to Microsoft, but I don't. I merely laugh at Sony for failing as hard as the communist party was portrayed in movies, comically dumb.

For example their reason for trying to stop the purchase of Activision-Blizzard. It wasn't for their own exclusivity, it was simply because they wanted to prevent Microshaft from owning them. No other reason has yet to be said.

Hell they have refused to give Activision-Blizzard recent dev kits to make new games for Playstation all because of the sale. Which is funny because not once has Microshaft said that CoD will be exclusive on Xbox.

  14. Win and losses should matter, but in practice they don't in wrestling. It's always who you beat, not how many you beat. Or how many losses you take. Someone could get 50 wins and still not improve up the card nor get a title match. But if say Powerhouse Hobbs beats PC Munk? Instant world title contender. On the flip side, if John Silver beats every ROH roster regular, he'd never even sniff the ROH World title. Let alone any AEW belt minus Tag Team. That's just how wrestling is. I know AEW tried presenting the W-L records that were meant to matter, but it just never panned out how they wanted.

    Worker Name: Drakkon Promstein

    Short Name: Promstein

Worker Bio: An enigmatic figure that appeared almost exactly for Halloween, Drakkon Promstein has a physique of everything an entertainment company would want. A 6'5, 258 pound heavyweight with a silver tongue to captivate an audience, he's almost perfect. But thats a heavy almost, as his actual wrestling ability is... Pretty rough to say the least. He's young, so its probable that he can get better, but its clear from the get go he can talk, and it's likely better he stay talking as a manager. A difficult prospect for sure, as a monster look as Promstein's, he likely would find work as a wrestler. His main gimmick, is that of a demonic cult leader, that he calls his "Afterlife". A strange gimmick to be sure, but one has to wonder if this man will be a monster on the scene, or purely a manager.

  16. Alright, this has been gnawing at me, and I had to start making this. In fact, I'm very serious to make this a thing I've changed my Avatar, never have I ever done that. lol

Anyway, my releasing of this mod as the games releases were, with adding more fighters, locations, and the like.

Original Post: Hey peeps, so recently, I've been getting into Super Smash Bros Ultimate recently, and I had a thought about, why hasn't this game been added to Comic Book Universe? Especially Ultimate where "Everyone is here" and a game like CBU also fits that mold. So, I'mma do it. And, I'm also willing to accept any potential assistance that may want to take part in this adventure. I think this could be pretty dang fun and anybody who might have some ideas to bring to the table, please shoot a DM to me and hopefully we can work some things out.
