  1. <p>I decided to check out WWE's latest Pay-Per View, and...</p><p> </p><p>

    <img alt="kMxzQ30.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kMxzQ30.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

    I wonder just what kind of storyline they're running with Conway <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

  2. Well, the Best of the Super Juniors is on the books and while I couldn't get Wagner(:() it was a great tournament won by Ryusuke Taguchi who beat KENTA on the finals. KENTA did earn himself a G1 spot though.

Speaking of the G1, I decided that, to shake things up a little, this time it's a four block tournament with four wrestlers in each block. Like a smaller world cup. Then next year I'll do the opposite, with G1 being normal and BOSJ being WC-like. This is because I scheduled them back-to-back and I don't want to book basically the same thing twice.

Anyways, only the C block will be kinda unpredictable - I'll have Masakatsu Funaki, who I'm a huge mark for, and Giant Bernard finish up tied. So they'll have a tie-break match with "must have a winner" rules, which will have no in-game effect whatsover :p

Then, Funaki will take on A-Block Winner Shinsuke Nakamura whereas B Block Winner Hiroshi Tanahashi will take on D-Block winner Masahiro Chono. Chono will advange to the semi-filans with an upset victory against Lesnar to set up the famous filler defense in-between big ones.

I'm thinking of having Chono beat Tanahashi to go to the finals to keep his "I want to prove I'm the best but keep losing confidence" story arc going whereas Nakamura beats Funaki then wins the G1 to keep his "I KNOW I'm the best and keep winning" arc.

The problem is, my plan was to have Nakamura-Tanahashi, and not Nakamura-Lesnar at the dome. I also have no plans whatsoever for Lesnar post-title reign and I'll likely let Vince or Jarett pick him up. So maybe Tana will have his redemption in 2007 then main event the dome against Nakamura in 2008. Oh well, who knows? I do like to have plenty of options even with long term planning :D

Also, I did a check on the GCG save and Jimmy Cox was booked twice for two months in a row!:eek::eek:

  3. <p>So, my hype for the GCG save didn't last long. Fortunately I had NJPW in 2006 to turn my attention to.</p><p> </p><p>

    The mod is Mammoth's Shifting Sands:http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=542122</p><p> </p><p>

I decided to stick with the modern show names right off the bat to make my job easier. Since in this reality Brock Lesnar is much easier to work with he's still the IWGP Heavyweight Champion, but will lose the belt to Shinsuke Nakamura very soon. The plan is to build up to Nakamura© vs. Tanahashi at the next Dome show, which hopefully won't be below half full...</p><p> </p><p>

There's also a new alliance, the World Confederation of Wrestling(because the WCW logo was kinda just lying around there, and, yanno) which consists of basically every Regional and above company - even WWE. The alliance titles are the Pro Wrestling World Heavyweight, Cruiserweight, Tag Team and Women's titles.</p><p> </p><p>

I had Masato Tanaka create a new army as I wasn't much of a fan of the Apache one. Anyways they're now the actual faces in the feud against Liger's CTU.</p><p> </p><p>

Black Tiger has joined CTU and Tiger Mask has joined Tanaka-Gun so that I can extend the feud until after BOSJ, where I'll start the next big one. Black Tiger, who is Rocky Romero, has been improving quite a bit so he'll likely keep the belt for a while.</p><p> </p><p>

The most Violent Players won the tag belts at the dome. I've hired Jun Kasai and Ryuji Ito and they'll start tagging up so that I can get big brawls between MVP, Kasai & Ito and the Strong Climbers.</p><p> </p><p>

Lesnar right now is feuding with Nakamura while at the same time Tanahashi wants to prove he is the top guy in New Japan. Tanahashi, in my "pre-game lore", decided to retrire the IWGP U-30 title to get a shot at Lesnar, but wound up being defeated at the Dome. Nakamura won the New Japan Cup, but Tanahashi argues that Nakamura has also failed to beat Lesnar before, and Tanahashi did win the first NJ Cup. So, match.</p><p> </p><p>

Meanwhile Lesnar takes the alliance belt off of Abyss. I'm not an Abyss fan and the AI had him take the belt off Sting, the inaugural champion.</p><p> </p><p>

The last show was Wrestling Dontaku. A whole 13 thousand people filled the Ryogoku Kokugikan to watch this:</p><p>

(STRONG CLIMBERS are Daisuke Sekimoto & Giant Bernard. The name is a nod to BJW's Ikkitousen Strong Climb)</p><p> </p><p>

    <img alt="JH0vcO6.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/JH0vcO6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

    The results were:</p><p> </p><p>

    <img alt="65i9NWv.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/65i9NWv.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Dr. Wagner Jr. had a <strong>90 </strong>rated performance. I want him in the BOSJ, even if this means killing CMLL <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Perhaps I'll go back to my Razan Okamoto-led take over of the world some day.</p>

  4. <p><img alt="WrHadgx.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/WrHadgx.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Geez Tana, you tend to be right, but I'm not so sure about this one <img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

  5. <p>So, The Golden Kingdom is now on the books. There was a LOT of filler but the matches in which I actually put an effort all went down really well. Now nevermind that I had to cheat a bit so that commentary won't tank all of my ratings but, well, it is what it is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯</p><p> </p><p>

We drew 8000 fans for the Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium which I imported over from RWC(I think it's the EDION Arena with another name) despite of the 0 industry and economy. So, yaaaaay! Now all I gotta do is make 400k somehow to finish the year breaking even.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Undercard was mostly "get everyone a match" filler. As a result, however, every member of the roster managed to make it into the main card...except for Conner Threepwood who instead decided to hang around in PGHW...and wasn't booked. C'mon dude.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

I was surprised by the Sayuki/Ishinomori-Daniels/Gauge match. Also, this show made me decide upon more cuts on the roster to happen soon. It also made me seriously consider doing a Chess Maniac-Azumamaro Kita program because...well, just look at the match they were involved in. No right at all to be that good.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Pavel Vanzycha not only won the Openweight title but outperformed Makuda by almost 10 points on their match. So, yeah, poor Makuda better hope Hyobanshi doesn't get any more big singles matches. Spoilers:<span style="color:#FFFFFF;">he will.</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Hurricane 2000 retained their belts in a match that would be so much better if Okazawaya wasn't involved...</p><p> </p><p>

Masao Tsubouchi won the Jr. Title and SWEET HEAVENS THAT GRADE. Okamoto now starts his rise to the top! Hopefully. Also, Yanagimoto STILL hasn't been picked up by Burning Hammer and at this point I'm considering bringing him on board too.</p><p> </p><p>

Despite being off his game SUKI beat WLW representative Magnum Kobe in another awesome match.</p><p> </p><p>

And last but not least, in the main event Hiroyasu Gakusha proved once more why he is the ace retaining the world title in a 96 rated match. He and Hyobanshi had previously gottten a 90 in a 60-minute time limit draw in January so...THEY'RE IMPROVING!!! </p><p> </p><p>

    Here is the screenshot:</p><p> </p><p>

    <img alt="rR1FDmG.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rR1FDmG.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

And on other industry news, Rhino Umaga is now touring with BCG, SAISHO is getting 70-80 match grades with Funakoshi, and BHOTWG actually used Jimmy Cox more than once in June <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Also there isn't a single company in debt right now(except for RIPW, but...yanno) which I believe is a first for me in the first half of the year.</p>

  6. <p>Well, Samoan Machine was stolen by BHOTWG so Rhino Umaga was released. I also got rid of a couple foreigners who I had signed failed to impress. </p><p> </p><p>

So, Burning Hammer decided they NEED Perez on the roster so one of the big Golden Kingdom matches is called off. Now it'll be Okamoto-Tsubouchi. Oh, well.</p><p> </p><p>

On other notes, Gidayu Katou is pissed that I refused a pay rise request like two days after a tsunami made it impossible for us to pull a profit. I threw a bonus at him but he's still pissed. Oh, well, he'd be a jobber for life anyways ¬¬</p><p> </p><p>

Speaking of jobber, Jimmy Cox is actually not stuck on the midcard at Burning Hammer but they only use him like once a month. </p><p> </p><p>

However a good thing happened:TCW fell to Cult so I got a working agreement with them. SUKI and Gakusha both got victories against Bryan Vessey.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm now building to Road to the Golden Kingdom, which has Gakusha-Okazawaya since a certain idiot accidentaly made their ace be pinned by a midcarder during a tag match, Takayuki-Hyobanshi, SUKI-Lopez and Okamoto-Kuroki. Okamoto will get the big win against a heavyweight here to establish the juniors as legit threats and because Kuroki pisses me off by his boring face alone, not to mention his personality. No idea what to do with Furusawa before the tag titles match though.</p><p> </p><p>

Also, Namboku Makuda's contract is ending soon but while in one hand he's asking 1770 per appearence minimum which makes me want to let him go, on the other hand I do have plans for him at The Golden Kingdom...oh well.</p>

  7. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="adi95" data-cite="adi95" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41193" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Match ratios, intensity, danger?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> Match ratios I'd say 80% Events and 70 TV but adjust it to your liking.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> For intensity and danger there really isn't a right answer since you probably have to set it to whatever the game recommends(data check)</p>
  8. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="adi95" data-cite="adi95" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41193" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I created All In Pro Wrestling (Cody is my user character) what product settings should I use to get a real world All In product?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I'd say:</p><p> </p><p> Traditional - Medium</p><p> Mainstream - Low</p><p> Comedy - Low or Medium</p><p> Cult - Medium</p><p> Risque - Low</p><p> Modern - Key</p><p> Ralism - Heavy</p><p> Hyper - None</p><p> Hardcore - Low</p><p> Lucha - Low or Medium</p><p> Pure - None</p><p> Daredevil - Heavy or Key</p><p> </p><p> This will give you a pop=perf I think.</p>
  9. That said, the new ownership of GCG trying to chase and mimick BHOTWG wouldn't be entirely surprising, and we do have the likes of BCG to erect a heavyweight wonderland in.

Hey now, I'm doing my own thing here! Burning Hammer can get all the dragons and whatever the heck elemental is but GCG is, at it's core, still GCG! Gakusha is not going to do planchas damnit! :p

Also, Shuzo Utagawa debuted and I brought him in. I'm having him do a tag with Nobuhiko Serizawa. I dropped the MUSCLE from Serizawa and had him bo by his real name because even with the new product I'm trying to keep the gimmicky names exclusively in the Jr. Division(except for Kawasawa but that was Hanshiro's fault)

Also, Rhino Umaga is touring with PGHW which is great since I have no plans for him or Samoan Machine.

  10. I started a GCG game to distract me for a while. It's like the third time I do a save with them but the first one where I change the product. I'll be introducing a Jr. Division and annoyed a bunch of purists by lowering the "Pure" and increasing the "Modern"

Well, the company is in the Modern Japan Movement, we can't be dinosaurs for ever.

It's currently in january but Mr. Kudo has got plans laid out all the way to The Golden Kingdom. The pre-booked matches are:

Hiroyasu Gakusha© vs. Toshiharu Hyobanshi for the Heavyweight title - Gakusha going for a super reign here which if everything goes right will be his last. I wanted to give Jimmy Cox a final run too, having him win him in January and drop here, but he decided to sign for Burning Hammer. Oh well, have fun being a midcarder, jimmy.

Hurricane 2000© vs. Shingen Miyazaki & Mabuchi Furusawa for the Tag Titles - I put Hurricane 2000 back together simply because Takayuki had nothing to do. They won the tag belts and the intention was giving Furusawa a singles push, but I decided to hold it off a little because he would be without a match for The Golden Kingdom and big stars need their big matches damnit.

Razan Okamoto© vs. Frankie Perez for the Jr. Title:Okamoto will get a huge win here and the plan is for him to drop this title to Masao Tsubouchi of EXODUS 2010 at the end of 2016 or the beggining of 2017, then move up to heavyweight and dethrone Gakusha. I was actually gonna go straight for him as a heavyweight but he doesn't wanna move up but he needs a direction so...

Namboku Makuda© vs. Pavel Vanzycha - I have literally no idea of what to do with this title, but if Vanzycha has improved enough by the time the PPV comes he's gonna win it. Makuda is not exactly my brighest singles guy but I might aswell try for a tag title run down the line.

Magnum Kobe vs. SUKI - In february SUKI will start to run a gimmick of challenging the big stars from the other MJM members. The problem with this storyline is that guys who I got planned to wrestle him such as Kita and Yanagimoto might get poached. But anyways, right now the plan is:

February - WEXXV guy - Probably Morisue

March - WLW guy - Probably Narato

April - EXODUS guy - Either Yanagimoto or Tsubouchi(who's actually on my roster)

May - SAISHO guy - Either Kita or KAZ or maybe I just bring Miwa back from retirement.

June - Non-MJM guy - The current plan is whoever the COTT champion is at that point, but if a bigger name in Japan leaves their promotion looks at hoshino or comes back from hiatus looks at Garner then I'll have a huge match in my hands.

    July - Magnum Kobe

This is not actually pre booked since Kobe isn't on loan yet but it's a lock to happpen. Emerald Angel might be a better choise lore-wise and perhaps even wrestling-wise, but that dude never agrees to do inter promotional jobs.

  11. <p>Some things I noticed:</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

    - Yasushi Kanda being set to have referee as default role can be a tad problematic down the line I think. Would work better to have him tied to a ref-only contract to expire in six months(IIRC he returned as a wrestler around june or july 2006) so that he then re-signs as a wrestler. Then again, not sure if that would cause an issue with the AI keeping him as a ref or releasing the guy altogether.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

    - NJPW should probably not be that popular at this point since this is the "should we <em>really</em> run The Dome?" era. I get that the momentum will tank attendances but them being as popular in Japan as WWE in the US is a tad far-fetched.</p><p>

    - Personal opinion:them having the weekly TV show while being touring is kinda pointless since the show itself is tour highlights. Same goes for NOAH and DG.</p><p> </p><p>

    - Other personal opinion:I'd love to have Yukinori Taniguchi at least as an user character since he buys NJPW at around that time(I've been told in another thread Inoki Jr. was still in charge for a while, however) </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

    - If I'm not mistaken Toryumon Mexico at this point was basically Dragon booking a big show when he felt like it. Cagematch mentions only two shows of them in 2006, in fact.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

    - I love the fact you added several figureheads to the promotions, but most of them are sacked by the AI in day one due to low SQ and Charisma. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Thank you for all of your work, I'm really looking forward to going long-term with this.</p>

  19. So, apologies for the huge preface, but how do you book a heel Jack Bruce? In your own game or ideas for a help in mine?

I'd go for the Hiroshi Tanahashi and now John Cena route. Both are the former top guys, bot still see themselves as the top guys while gradually realizing their time is up. In Tana's case he will do whatever it takes to win. Cena not so much but he's cocky every now and then and I can see him go this route.

So, basically, "Former figurehead trying to keep up with the new guys and stay at the top no matter what"

It's more tweener than heel but it works perfectly since Bruce is the closest equivalent of both guys in the CVerse.
