How does it mesh with the fact that for example BHOTWG has a bunch of colorful masked characters, some belonging to lineages that have been vital for the company? I mean, are they being treated just like any other wrestler, without any thought spared for their masked persona?

In general, I am not sure how to imagine the "gimmicks have no impact" note in terms of what happens in the game world. I would understand a huge difference in the impact, but can you really imagine that a guy walks in as, dunno, an awesome dragon or on the other hand the worst rendition of a drag queen ever, wrestles in that persona, and that has ZERO impact on how the crowd reacts? O.o

I think it refers to no impact on booking. So, The Undertaker is a literal dead person with Supernatural powers? Sure, whatever.

Brock Lesnar is generic monster heel #46436? Sure, go for it.

It might have been pre-set in the editor but if you're playing CVerse it's most definitely a very good destiny roll.

  3. Some things I found playing this for the first time.

    - AJPW, AAA, NJPW, CMLL, Osaka Pro, Michinoku Pro, BJW, IWA PR, NOAH and ZERO-One don't have owners. Should be Motoko Baba for AJPW, Antonio Peña for AAA, Antonio Inoki for NJPW, Francisco Lutteroth for CMLL, Super Delfin for Osaka, Great Sasuke for Michi, Shiniya Kojika for BJW, Mitsuharu Misawa for NOAH. Not sure about IWA and Zero-One.

    - Also, it seems like these promotions have no roster whatsoever.

    - At this point, NJPW should be Cult. They should have Hyper Realism as Key Feature and Hyper Realism should be very unpopular in Japan. I think this is when Riki Chosu was booker, should have a low skill. Also, Inoki's style preference should be MMA-Influenced wrestling.

    - Motoko Baba to have a Strong Dislike with Misawa.

    - NOAH roster to be loyal to Misawa.

    - AJPW might aswell be Cult too

    - NOAH should have some more popularity. I think 60 ~ 65ish all over Japan and 70 ~ 75 in Kanto.

    - Super Dragon, Excalibur, Joey Ryan, Disco Machine, Top Gun Talwar and Scott Lost to be Best Friends/Loyal to eachother.

    - Jeff Jarett should be loyal to TNA

Is there a hard rule on this, or does it vary depending on other factors (i.e. owner's personality or something)?

I think it's two sizes. So, if an Alliance has only Cult companies, they'll only allow Regional to join and only National will want to join. Small/Local companies meanwhile will be barred while International/Global will not show interest.

Super Premier Wrestling Federation was opened by Violent J in December 2001 in my game. That's the month where I'm in. They're local sized,

Michinoku Pro has been growing steadily in Japan. They have like 50 pop. In Tohoku, currently sitting at a comfortable Regional level.

Where do I even begin with?

  14. I have big plans for Paige and her contract is up. TNA is offering her more money than I am allowed to give her and while she is "seriously considering both offers" I'm scared to death that she will defect.

Would adding loyalty to WWE through the editor help my chances of retaining her at all? I pretty much boosted everything else. Her contract really is ridiculous in terms of what I am offering.

I think you'll be able to keep her by setting loyalty, even mid-negotiation. You should get an e-mail saying TNA's bid failed.
