So im about 8-10 months into a game and just jumped from regional to cult. My financials aren't doing to bad (making ~350,000 a month) until month two after cult. I noticed I'm losing money for the first time in this game. Now I bought a developmental company that wasn't cheap and added some spendy written contracts so I'm not shocked. <strong>But upon further inspection of my Financials I realized that my "Marketing" jumped from 5,000 a month to 150,000 over the last two months.</strong> Can someone explain to me why such a massive jump? What is causing my marketing because when I went to Merch it said it was costing me 25k a month, so how do i control this? or is it a fixed price? and Why does it jump from so little to so much from regional to cult? that seems excessive!

<p>How do you get people to try new gimmicks and get better at their ratings without hurting their career? Case in point, I have Caristico in one of my TNA saves right now and he is one of my top guys. I have him in a 6 month long feud with Phenix (Fenix in AAA & LU) who has become on of the future guys of my promotion and already a top worker. The story line has been fighting for the International Championship (which is a floating title that they have gotten to 100). But I dont want to take it off of Phenix, at least not yet. Hes having a terrific run and I want to let it roll. Both of them have been face this whole run and my goal is/was to turn Caristico to heel after becoming frustrated that he continues to get beat in championship matches. He will become obsessed with winning and then retaining the title at any cost. However, I didnt plan that far ahead and as I came up with this idea I realized Caristico while an A babyface is only a D+ heel. Not to mention all the categories that I would like to use for him (including Weasel the one I wanted to switch him to for his heel run) are at F or F+ maybe D if im lucky. He is getting an average of 70s in his matches which is right up there with the top guys in the promotion. He has a gimmick that is very good, I maybe should think about not turning him but here is my problem I have with im and other guys:</p><p> </p><p> <strong>My Question:</strong> How do you train peoples low gimmick performance stats without completely killing their career or tanking their momentum? Should I just say screw it, switch him to Weasel Heel, have him get a poor rating (more than likely in his gimmick switch) and then just book him strong in hopes he improves and the gimmick takes off? Or is it best that I just keep him where he is at (over) and look to someone else to fill that roll? He is 34 currently by the way. Thanks in advance.</p>

I'm fairly sure that the requirements don't change based on size, as it's always company specific. You can indeed induct individuals into the hall of fame as individuals in as both individuals and part of a tag team separately. <p> </p><p> As to specific requirements, as I recall 4 or 5 Main Event level championships or twice as many (8-10) midcard/floating titles will make a candidate eligible. For tag teams, I think it's just 4 or 5 titles held is enough (I may be wrong, but I think each tag title held also counts towards individual titles held as well) . There's also the "headlining" of major shows (i.e. being in the main event annual shows), which grants a few percentage points towards completion. I don't think headlining gets you more than 15 or 20% of the way there, though (at 25 main events, which is the maximum you can add in the editor, I'm not sure if the game counts beyond that, or if that's the hard cap). And finally, being a figurehead for a consecutive number of years. 5+ years as figurehead guarantees induction. Of course, various combinations of these things will yield different results. </p><p> </p><p> For non-wrestlers, it's pretty much 1 for 1. Referee officiates 100 matches, Broadcasters call 100 matches, they are "key" players. <p>Company HOF "Eligible Candidates". I am currently about a year into my real world TNA mod (with the most recent patch) and I was just checking out my HOF and I clicked the "Eligible Candidates" button and had no one. This didn't shock me, but I began looking around this website and google and couldn't seem to find an answer. I am running a yearly HOF Event where I induct someone into my HOF. Basically I will need someone to be eligible each year. I know you can just put anyone you want and at first I will do that (already added Jerry Lynn in the first year for example. He only had "3 x-title" reigns but due to his contributions to the x-division I figured it was appropriate.) I can do this for a few more years but eventually I want people to start earning it. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>So my question(s) is/are:</strong> What are the requirements or credentials needed for a worker to get into a promotions HOF? (Also, does size of the company affect needed requirements?). Also, If you already have a tag team inducted (Like Bully Ray and Brother Devon are in the TNA HOF), can I later add just Bully Ray as an individual if say he becomes "eligible"? Two Women's Tag Teams I need help with: Laurel Van Ness & "Terra" (Tessa Blanchard). Van Ness is not "Hott Mess" Van Ness like she currently is in real life TNA just a b**chy heel and Terra I have booked to be pretty tough. Both just have the "old school heel" gimmick currently (open for suggestions on that as well, these two will be big players in my women's division some day (im currently running an 8 team tournament for my first Women Tag Titles in company history)). Trish Stratus and Ivalisse threw them together, was going to be a one time thing, ended up having great chemistry so I think I'll see if I can make them work.

Hey so I'm playing as a Regional Company in ThunderVerse (Ring of Destiny). I recently got a Local TV deal in Australia, but they only let me play graveyard. I'm getting less than a 0.1 viewership per episode, and they only require and F+ rating. I noticed that they wont negotiate any other time slot except "On Demand" which requires an E+ rating per show. I'm gaining popularity every show and I get above E+ (usually D+ or C-) per show. Should I switch to an on demand service? Also, has anyone messed with Custom Merchandise? I have never and its a regional company. I'm wondering if I should try my hand at it. How do you know what lvl to put each guy at and which items to choose? (shirt, hat, foam fingers etc.) does anyone mess with this? Any tips? Thanks!

Hey I want to thank the creators of this mod. I've never tried anything but real world mods, decided to give this a go and its a blast. I started as head booker with Ring of Destiny in Australia, and I'm about 3 months in, having a blast. Just bought the old CW: NZ Tag Titles (My owner's former promotion) and renamed them the RoD Tag Titles. Also brought in the "Omega" brothers (Australia's version of the Hardyz!), and am about to establish a nice little tag division on top of my World Title.

Or some ideas you've never thought off, I haven't watched wrestling properly in years, so don't have much inspiration. Oh, I am also avoiding authority figure feuds, I use Shane as my authority figure, and he usually just makes announcements or is present for contract signings. Think of this as a way of showing off some of your more imaginative feuds, and don't worry I don't write dynasties or anything like that, this is purely just for my own immersive desires.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Hey so here are some I am either currently using, thinking of using, or just straight off the top of my head in this moment lol.</p><p> </p><p> -Chris Jericho makes a jab/joke/rib at Titus O'Neil (on camera, backstage). In my imagination "Jericho is walking backstage and turns a corner running into the back of Titus O'Neil "Move out of my way you big Oaf," Jericho says. "If I had your size and even 1/100th of my abilities, I would have never lost a match, whats your excuse?".</p><p> Titus takes exception to that and later cost Jericho a match via distraction.</p><p> This has led to a long rivalry with the Goal of Jericho putting over Titus eventually, but improving him along the way. So far my heats been hovering around B or B- for the feud and Titus has improved his technical, basics, performance and is now accepted as an Upper Mid Card.</p><p> </p><p> -John Cena keeps bugging me about how Tyler Breeze and Apollo Crews are stars. So I had Breezango attack John Cena in the ring to make a name for themselves. This led to a long rivalry with Cena battling Breeze and Fandango separately and in promos, but while having to deal with the other one interfering. Eventually it set up a Tag Match at a PPV with a surprise partner for Cena, guess who: Apollo Crews. Now the rivalry has turned into a 2v2, with the goal of turning Crews and Breeze into singles stars (Fandango would be a bonus) or get Breezango over as a team enough to go for the Tag Titles and break out Apollo as a solo star. Might swerve it depending on chemistry and momentum and have Cena and Crews be a long lasting Tag team who wins gold eventually.</p><p> </p><p> -An NxT "Take Over" angle. Where you bring 3-5 guys with enough popularity to the main roster and have them target a variety of superstars, spawning all sorts of spin offs, solo, and tag rivalries.</p><p> </p><p> -I like to have "#1 contender" rivalries going when i know I'm going to have a long feud. For Example: Finn Balor and Seth Rollins are in the middle of a 6 month rivalry (been going 3 months) for the Cruiserweight Title. So meanwhile, I have Neville and (heel) Dolph Ziggler in a rivalry to see who deserves the #1 spot. Sometimes I'll have my #1 contender guys as "Support" in a main rivalry for awhile until I'm ready to end it and bring in the guy I think won the #1 contender rivalry</p><p> </p><p> -Also, muscle vs. a Rival. So I had Cena and Orton who have of course been rivals practically their whole career. They were in a small 1 month rivalry, but only to establish Orton's new stable with the Ascension as his body guards. Now they are in a Rivalry with Cena.</p><p> </p><p> There's 5 quick ideas I'll add more later if I think of any or feel like it. Hope some of these give you some new ideas.</p>

I'm playing the same mod as you. Both are semi-unknown in the area but will both start out with the ability to put on C and D+ matches (keep in mind this is with little Popularity in the States). Not to mention both are can use the mike (Cole a lot more probably) and they will both gain momentum fast if booked right, based off of their incredible in ring abilities.</p><p> </p><p> other options (reDRagon (would have to turn into heels), The Addiction (although too old), you could sign John Morrision and either Jack Evans or PJ Black (Formerly Justin Gabriel in WWE) they are a heel trio's team in Lucha Underground. Umm in TNA a good young heel crew is Andrew Everett & Trevor Lee. Personally thought I would go any combination of either Morrison, Adam Cole, or Kenny Omega. All three are still young enough, they put on good shows and could all potentially break out on their own. Not to mention Morrison comes in ready to be midcard push popularity wise, and Omega "Low-Mid" but you can push as a mid with no penalty. As for my game I had Cole in NxT right away, but he is my Top guy there right in line with Joe and Nakamura.</p><p> </p><p> Or, if you want to save money and the time of singing new guys.</p><p> -Roman: The Uso's</p><p> -Ambrose: Gargano & Ciampa</p><p> -Rollins: Breezango</p>

World Title- Bockwinkle (heel Champ) vs Martel (former babyface champ)</p><p> </p><p> Martel lost the title at the January Supercard to Bockwinkle. Bockwinkle beat Martel in the rematch with a foreign object.</p><p> </p><p> I'm not sure who to put over here. Martel is my most popular wrestler, reallygood in the ring and really good on the mic and getting better in both. Bockwinkel is fantastic on the mic but he's 50 years old and losing a few steps in the ring. My concern with putting the strap back on Martel is that he gets too big of an ego backstage because he's still young (28) to be 'the man" for the AWA. Bockwinkel is slipping but he can last another 3-6 months as the Champ if needed. If Martel loses I might have him change his focus to tag team possibly forming the Can-Am Connection with Tom Zenk.</p><p> </p><p> 2. Sgt Slaughter vs Chris Markoff w/Sheik Adnan Al-Kheissey</p><p> </p><p> typical USA vs USSR feud, Slaughter will win</p><p> </p><p> 3. 'The Best Wrestler In the World" Feud</p><p> </p><p> Larry Zybyzko claimed he was the GOAT wrestler and Bob Backlund challenged him. They're tied 1-1</p><p> </p><p> Backlund is a little better in the ring and more popular, Zybyzko is better on the mic</p><p> </p><p> The winner of this feud depends somewhat on the winner of Bockwinkle/Martel.</p><p> </p><p> If Bockwinkle wins he'll probably feud with Slaughter or Backlund for the World Title. If Martel wins I'll need Zybyzko to win to make him more popular and ready to feud with Martel for the World Title.</p><p> </p><p> 4. World Tag Team Title - Legion of Doom vs The Fantastics</p><p> </p><p> The Legion of Doom have been dominating the tag ranks and now face off against the hot new babyface team of The Fantastics, Stan Lane and Steve Keirn.</p><p> </p><p> SO, my question is who would you put over in the World Title match and why?</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:#FF0000;">Martel or Bockwinkle????</span></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Martel.</p><p> </p><p> Here's why. Take the risk of him gaining an ego, you already said he's great on Mike and in the ring, and still improving. Bockeinkle is 50, this sounds like a classic pass the torch. Bockwinkle can transition to ME gate keeper and go after some singles title or tag with a green guy. Plus, let's say Martel grows a big ego, think of the storylines it will help write with the real life drama lol</p><p> </p><p> And best case scenario he turns into a great leader and you have yourself a cash cow, figure head for at minimum a decade, Alla hogan or cena</p>
