Currently got the 2016 demo and the real world mod for July. <p> </p><p> I'm thinking of attempting an invasion type storyline (been watching a lot of NWO on the network) made up of disgruntled ex employees of the WWE. </p><p> </p><p> I'm thinking I'd have a figurehead come out after a Raw main event to kick start it all. He can come out and rant about how the WWE never used him to correctly and how this is the start of an uprising made up of pissed off ex employees. I'm not sure who this figurehead will be - I was thinking CM Punk because I would like someone who can talk and wrestle, but I'm also considering having it just be a manager type person like Heyman. </p><p> </p><p> Week after week more people would join and as the group grows, they approach current members and try to get them to join. Very similar to the NWO storyline, really. </p><p> </p><p> No end goal in sight, just play it and see what happens. </p><p> </p><p> My main issue is I don't really watch modern day WWE. I read recaps and follow the news, but I'm not as familiar with the wrestlers as I am with those several years back. So my dilemma is whether I do use the real world mod for July 2016 or if I go for something like a 1998 or early to mid 2000s mod. <p>One thing of note:</p><p> </p><p> This could be my fault, but I noticed when I started your most recent August mod with WWE that I am getting poor show ratings because "I dont have enough interesting story lines running". With Summerslam only two weeks away I found I put on a show of excellent matches all around B+ quality for second half of the show some even A's. The main event was indeed an A. Yet the final score of the show was only C+ which absolutely killed me, because not enough interesting storylines. I have set up plenty but with such short time to build, I couldn't get 2 to the minimum "B" heat that is constantly required for WWE.</p><p> </p><p> (Also, I think the game is a bit broken, I have a rivalry with Reigns and Seth Rollins 6 different "build ups" lowest rated segment was a B+, yet they have the rivalry heat marked as E+...)</p><p> </p><p> My point is, maybe for the next release you should have 2 just general storylines running in WWE with minimum B heat, so you dont start out the game losing fans every show because you have no storylines (like Seth Rollins vs Reigns, and Ambrose vs Wyatt or something, one for each show, that have been done and done again 1000 times by the WWE. Us users can delete them if we want or whatever, but it will help!)</p>

<p>Im using Fleish RWC mod and took over the Juggernaut that is WWE as a booker. Immidiately started signing talents across the world, for primarily NxT. I also am honoring the brand split. But the CWC (Crusierweight Championship) is not held to just one brand.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> So, I added a new WWE Cruiserweight Championship with a purple and silver design (CWC colors) I found in the pic cutting thread here. Naturally, I decided to have a tournament to crown the fist champion, culminating at summerslam. I made the title floating, and maximum weight is lightweight. The tournament would take place over the next 5 weeks on Superstars, Raw, Smackdown and MainEvent.</p><p> </p><p> -Originally I thought about having AJ Styles, Ziggler and Seth Rollins in the tournament as well, but elected to exclude them for some lesser talents to make my path to a finals easier to manage, and hopefully boost the prestige of some of my lower guys.</p><p> </p><p> -My tournament was much like BFG series in TNA or G1 in NJPW just on a smaller scale. 8 men in the tournament, they would fight each other man once, each win got you 2 points, each draw 1 point and a loss 0. 30 minute time limits and the top 4 advance to a semi final bracket.</p><p> </p><p> Participants and their final points were:</p><p> -Finn Balor -12 points</p><p> -Neville - 12 points</p><p> -Sami Zayn - 10 points</p><p> -Tyler Breeze - 8 points</p><p> -Kalisto - 6 points</p><p> -Heath Slater - 6 points</p><p> -Viktor - 2 points</p><p> -Epico - 0 points</p><p> </p><p> *Finn and Neville went undefeated, drawing in their only bout, and each drawing Sami Zayn as well.</p><p> *The "Big" upsets were: Tyler Breeze over Sami Zayn (due to him beating Sami way back when in a big NxT #1 contenders match, i thought i'd have Sami put him over again) and Heath Slater got a huge win over Kalisto (Heath is going to get a small push from me eventually).</p><p> </p><p> *As the tournament Started Heath Slater picked up all 3 of his wins in a row, making him the tournament leader or in contention during most of the tournament. Finn Balor had 2 early draws, and had to come back to claim the top spot. Tyler Beeze shocked most people when he was able to beat Kalisto and solidify his spot in the final 4.</p><p> </p><p> Anyways:</p><p> The semi finals were set.</p><p> CWC Qualifying Match #1 (Raw): Finn Balor vs. Sami Zayn</p><p> Finn Balor pulling out the win in a tremendous match.</p><p> </p><p> CWC Qualifying Match #2 (Smackdown): Tyler Breeze vs Neville</p><p> Neville won the match, it was not as good as I had hoped for a semi final match (Kalisto probably would have got me a better rating, but I like Breeze and want to build him a bit)</p><p> </p><p> Had a contract signing on the Final Raw go home show, and then on Smackdown we just got a highlight package.</p><p> </p><p> Summerslam:</p><p> Inaugural Crusierweight Championship Match: Finn Balor vs Neville (Ladder Match)</p><p> -That is where I'm at in my game. I'm going to have Finn win the title in a 30+ minute match. </p><p> </p><p> My goal/current plan: Have Finn Balor hold on to the CWC for a year minimum, maybe 2. </p><p> </p><p> Rivalries will include:</p><p> -Seth Rollins</p><p> -Dolph Ziggler w/ Ric Flair (Ziggler just turned on Zach Ryder, and is in a long feud with that)</p><p> -AJ Styles</p><p> -Tyler Breeze</p><p> -Jay Lethal (I just signed him to a PPA, and him do a Superstars preshow to gain fan reaction (as his pop across America is only D i believe), cold with no heat or warm up. First he cut a B+ promo, then had a B- Match with Raj Sing. And Lethal is one of my favorites so he'll have a long rivalry.</p><p> -Have also thought about having Finn join the club about 6 months - a year down the line and turn heel. They could help him retain his title and it would bring in a whole new crop of baby faces to feud with, If i turned him, he would definitely have a 2 year run (baring injuries)</p><p> -I've also signed a bunch of CWC (Cruiserweight Classic in real life) guys and big indy stars who are lightweight or smaller, but I'm trying to build up their pop in NxT a little bit right now first. But guys like Sabre Jr, Gallagher, Cedric Alexander, Young Bucks, Ibushi, King Cuerno, Fenix, etc. they could all be called up to add to the feud. I think I'm going to have a really good, main event quality cruiserweight division (kind of like WCW did back in the day, except I'll know how to book them and not Glass ceiling them! haha)</p><p> </p><p> Other Turns:</p><p> -Ziggler from Face to Heel and added Ric Flair as manager</p><p> -Naomi, returned from injury turned from heel to face to save Becky from Alexa Bliss</p><p> -Randy Orton turned from Face to Heel, while destroying John Cena and forming a new Stable with the Ascension as his body guards. They call themselves the Assertion because "they always Assert their Authority."</p><p> </p><p> I also have a very slow turn in progress. I'm going to have Shelton Benjammin slowly turn from face to heel (over 3-6 months). He will be managed by Paul Heyman and he will eventually challenge for the Tag Titles with his Mystery Partner, Brock Lesnar. To my knowledge Lesnar has never held tag gold so I figure, hell he likes Benjamin, why not tag them up, have Brock get his first WWE Tag title and after a few months of them dominating, have Shelton and Heyman betray Brock. Only to start a long feud, that culminates in the double backstab as Heyman betrays Benjamin at the PPV and reveals that he has still been working with Brock the whole time.</p><p> </p><p> Other Feuds:</p><p> -Kevin Owens vs [C] Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship</p><p> -Paige vs Nia Jax (supporting roles for Becky and Summe Rae)</p><p> -Sasha and Charollette in a feud over Womens Championship (dana brooke for support)</p><p> -Haven't decided which team I'm going to build to take New Days belts yet (I like Guns & Gallows, Enzo & Cass, Breezango and of course, American Alpha)</p><p> -Y2J is feuding with Titus O'Neil trying to get him up to par. I still might just end up teaming him with Jack Swagger.</p><p> -Also have a grand Idea for a Stable once Kurt Angle accepts my deal. I'll probably just steal the old NxT stable name and call them Shoot Nation (Members will include: Kurt Angle, Jason Jordan, Chad Gable, Shelton Benjamin and Brock Lesnar) Kurt will be the leader/manager roll primarily. Also, havent decided, but i will consider tossing Jack Swagger in there and hopefully rebuilding him a bit). I will have Brock going after top singles gold, shelton going after midcard gold and the boys holding the tag belts, kurt might get tossed a mid card title too, like the US, then they will be dominant)</p>

Cant wait for the August release with the split! </p><p> </p><p> I know it's a small detail, but probably my two most favorite parts of your mod are the unlimited amount of angles to choose from, and then the broadcasters/tv networks. The fact that you add "local" to every region, is literally one of my favorite parts of the entire mod, helps out my smaller companies so much!</p>

<p>Announcers</p><p> </p><p> So just for some insight. Mauro should probably be the highest rated announcer in the game. And this is coming from a guy who once didnt like his work. I noticed that you said you dont watch Raw and SD! so I will say this for comparison sake, Matt Striker is a poor man's Mauro. </p><p> </p><p> Mauro use to be the lead guy for Strikeforce (MMA) which was the premier competition for UFC at one point. If i remember correctly he also does some announcing still for some smaller MMA promotion. I believe he also does kickboxing, has done boxing and many other combat sports. </p><p> </p><p> As for wrestling, Him and Josh Barnett worked very well together as Barnett w/ the Color (which should be rated pretty decent as well imo) added history and personal knowledge of the product. </p><p> </p><p> But mainly think of him as a wrestler, the best in the World is the guy who can go in there with anyone and make the match entertaining and make people care. Same with announcers. Mauro has been great with everyone he has ever been with in any sport, and some of them were bad. In Strikeforce he made Frank Shamrock bareable, in NJPW he worked with the green Josh Barnett to perfection, On smackdown he has done well with Otunga, King, Byron, Graves, you name it and on the CWC he again works well with a green colour guy in DB and they have been great! He makes everyone look good, same cant be said for cole imo.</p><p> </p><p> Also, i said Striker is poor mans Mauro because, they have a similar style in that they are both huge historians of wrestling, they can name nearly every single move thats ever been done, they call the action as if you are watching a real competitive sporting event and hook the viewer into the story being told. Where as Michael Cole does that to a degree but then spends half the match arguing with announcers about another feud or plugging something else entirely, which takes the focus and attention off of the competitors and makes you less interested. I would rank top 5 Announcers (due to prestige of company, their individual name and talent) as such:</p><p> </p><p> 1. Mauro Ranalo (My Opinion (A))</p><p> 2. JR (My Opinion (A-))</p><p> 3. Michael Cole (My Opinion (Lower A-))</p><p> 4. Matt Striker (My Opinion (B+))</p><p> 5. Joey Styles (My Opinion) (Very High B) (only low because he hasnt been used in forever, a younger generation probably doesnt even know who he is sadly)</p><p> (Some other notables just due to the size of company and weekly exposure Kevin Kelly, Josh Mathews, Tom Phillips, thats about it off the top of my head for now)</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Ps. I watch the CWC, NJPW on AxsTV, NxT, Raw, Smackdown, Superstars, Mainevent, Lucha Underground, TNA Impact Wrestling and Ring of Honor weekly so I feel like i get a pretty good variety and can give an informed opinion! <p>Hey I've never done one of these Road to Glory modes before. Is it acceptable to use a Real World Mod? and do i need to post on here constantly or yearly updates, whats the norm? </p><p> </p><p> Going to start a RW Mod using Fleish mod for Jun 2016 and your rules.
