  1. <p>Sometimes the simplistic stuff are the things that really make an audience go insane. ATOMIC and Remo don't have some super advanced storyline but the old school element of a manager talking on behalf of a monster and an ass kicking babyface. And I think the audience wants to see what happens when these two ass kickers face off for the big gold belt now. I enjoy this program just for the most old school dynamic.</p><p> </p><p> Also good grief Spencer and ZWB getting bit with bad chemistry but still doing well enough despite it. Damn. That's a bummer.</p><p> </p><p> And Crippler joining with the big heel faction? Compared to Brandon he's probably more along the lines of the true mercenary compared to Brandon being more of a traditional body guard. It is interesting for him how he justifies it.</p><p> </p><p> Now Ekuma finally has something he can sink his teeth into and that might be as the person nobody really wants to confront for this chaotic title. I'm already imagining Ekuma lifting a ridiculous amount of weights, someone trying to attack him in said gym and Ekuma just pins them down with the weights he was lifting, pins the person...offers a shrug and moves on.</p><p> </p><p> ...Eric's going to get killed by Scythe eventually isn't he? Not actual murder but...you know...spiked.</p>
  2. Supremacists (Brandon James, Paul Huntingdon, and ????) vs. Knights of Wrestling (Steven Parker, Joey Morgan, and Joshua Taylor) [6-Man Tag Match] All hail the squiggles! Jefferson Stardust vs. John Greed vs. Ranger [Triple Threat Match - First Pinfall] Something about the weasel like veteran heel with his own big back up stealing this feels right. "BIG D" Des Davids vs. "SHOCKING" Matt Hocking [standard Singles Match] Davids gets back on track even with Tom Gillmore looming. Undeniable (Bret Starr & Mainstream Hernandez) vs. Valiant and ???? [standard Tag Team Match] I wonder what kind of surprise the Honorable one cooked up here... "THE SHOWSTOPPIN' SUPERSTAR" Z-Dub vs. "THE INSTANT CLASSIC" Spencer Spade ["New Year's Revolution" Contract Match] [standard Singles Match] I don't think Spencer ends up being the person who takes this by conventional means here. There might be something he does post match though that tips it.
  3. Brutus Milano vs. The New York Doll – NYCW Empire Title Match Don't see a change here. Riley McManus & Happy Elwood vs. Denny King & Ozzie Goldstein Riley feels like a long term foe to your top heel. Chuck Casey vs. Justice Jolson vs. Animal Harker vs. Super Massive Destroyer We'll go with Harker here. Masked Stranger vs. Tennessee William This could be a match of the night contender. Curtis Shaw & The LA Stars vs. Andrew Harper, Richie Riggins, & Devastating Don Maybe a DQ with Don doing something? Brooklyn’s Finest vs. Sal DiMeo & Machine Gun Marino I tend to go with named tag teams. Geoff Borne vs. Luca Sacramoni I'll be the odd ball, sure. The American Cobras vs. The Boys From The Yukon—COTT World Tag-Team Title Match Don't see a switch here either though this could also be pretty good.
  4. Joshua Taylor vs. Paul Huntingdon [standard Singles Match] [Joshua Taylor's SWF Debut] A win for the debut. Randy Unleashed© vs. Chris Caulfield [Chaos Championship Match] [Chaos Rules = No Rules] Randy might start to gain some paranoia with this title. High Flyin' Hawaiian vs. "The Dirty Rotten Scoundrel" Rogue [standard Singles Match] Never trust Rogue. ATOMIC vs. Bret Starr vs. Mikey Lau vs. Rocky Golden [#1 Contendership Match for the SWF WHC] [First Pinfall is the Victor] I think Rocky has to deal with Scythe so ATOMIC it is.
  5. Hawkeye Calhoun vs. Pablo Rodriguez – COTT World Heavyweight Title Match Going with who I like better. Happy Elwood vs. Tennessee William I look forward to Happy Elwood's evolution but Tennessee is an ace for you. The Casey Brothers vs. The Boys From The Yukon – NYCW Tag-Team Title Match Probably the go to heel duo right now. Masked Stranger vs. Devastating Don vs. LA Star #1 vs. Sal DiMeo I like the Stranger. Animal Harker vs. Ozzie Goldstein Harker has developed from 2010 to now. We'll go with him here. Crocket Tubbs vs. The New York Doll Yeah we'll go with Tubbs. Freedom Eagle vs. Denny King – NYCW Tri-State Title Match I don't see switching it twice. Charlie Corner & Dominic DeGraff vs. Andrew Harper & Richie Riggins Might not be a bad heel duo there. Curtis Shaw vs. Ray Snow Ice cold Ray Snow. A machine.
  6. I know this wasn't the greatest night for my predictions but I kind of had my jaw on the floor reading the grade for that world title match. Wow, that was great. Remo, ATOMIC and Lau probably all got high fives and all that for that one. Ha. It really helped create this aura of 'You want this chaos? I'm the constant. I'm the one who is stable' with the champion. Emma is obviously voicing that because that's what she does and she's money with Remo in particular. Those two together just feel like the ultimate pairing. A supreme pairing if you will. Hell, it might even make Remo feel like a truly transcendent star in his own right. Especially since he doesn't have to speak much so when he does...it will mean the world. I'm marking out for that pairing, I just am. Gillmore flipping heel? Hm. That's interesting. I wonder if the man who calls himself angry will end up eventually declaring that he's no longer that angry person anymore and screw the people for making him that. It's a thought, I'm interested in how you make him come to life. He's probably been a face since 2011(he started heel on 2010 and took the NA title from Brandon James so I assume he turned then) so this probably feels like a big deal from the audience perspective. What a big win for ZWB though. Damn. He's got something he can truly hang his hat on now and you can make an argument he might be the number 2 face in the company now even with what ATOMIC and Mikey did from a performance standpoint in the main event(and Des waiting in the wings as well)...You got some choices to make who you fully want to commit to in that spot going forward. As a much smaller note, I love Bruce the Giant drinking with RDJ and the Boys. I just also imagine the beer cans being so small in Bruce's hands almost like with Andre that his entire hand covers it up! Ha! Okay back to something more major...I was hoping for more gold for my boy Mainstream but I can't be mad at that opening match for all of them. There's more money with those four bringing aerial warfare to the tag division. Spencer, Mainstream, and The Awesomeness just seem like they're made to wrestle one another. Not the biggest story in the world but it's just fun to let those four be themselves and just wrestle. Also High Flying Hawaiian...good job kid. You just got the biggest win as a solo act. Maybe you can use this momentum to see what you got against Starr? Not saying that will happen but it's certainly on the table now.
  7. <p>The Awesomeness© vs. <strong>Undeniable</strong></p><p> [sWF World Tag Team Championship Match]</p><p> [standard Tag Team Match]</p><p> </p><p> I need my boy to hold some gold! Could even be match of the night.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Angry Gilmore</strong> vs. Matthew Faith</p><p> [standard Singles Match]</p><p> </p><p> I know Gillmore is declining but Matthew Faith has a ways to go yet.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>The Crippler</strong> vs. High Flyin' Hawaiian</p><p> [standard Singles Match]</p><p> </p><p> Maybe losing but going down fighting actually earns the slightest bit of respect from The Crippler.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rogue</strong> vs. Z-Dub</p><p> ["New Year's Revolution" Contract Match]</p><p> [standard Singles Match]</p><p> </p><p> Rogue capitalizes on the injuries because that's who he is.</p><p> </p><p> Des Davids© vs. <strong>Bret Starr</strong></p><p> [sWF North American Championship Match]</p><p> [Lumberjack Match]</p><p> </p><p> I'm gambling on the visual of all members of this trio holding gold together at the end of the night.</p><p> </p><p> Brandon James vs. <strong>Rocky Golden</strong></p><p> ["I Quit Match"]</p><p> [brandon wins = He gets the whereabouts of Scythe]</p><p> </p><p> As an aside...way to go Brandon of late in terms of producing! I think Rocky goes over but Brandon may have more gas left in the tank.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Remo©</strong> vs. ATOMIC vs. Mikey Lau</p><p> [sWF World Heavyweight Championship Match]</p><p> [Elimination Match]</p><p> </p><p> I think Remo actually lets ATOMIC eliminate Mikey one way or another before the ultimate athlete takes over.</p>
  8. Lenny Brown vs. Randy Unleashed [standard Singles Match] I'm almost tempted to go the other way but...Randy might be an angry boy with no back up. Prophetic Justice vs. Knights of Wrestling (Parker & Morgan) [standard Tag Team Match] Let's see how good these two are as a unit. "Hollywood" Bret Starr vs. Robbie Retro [standard Singles Match] RIP Retro. "Shocking" Matt Hocking vs. "The Showstoppin' Superstar" Z-Dub [standard Singles Match] Z-Dub feels like he's a future top guy sooner or later. Ekuma vs. The Crippler [standard Singles Match] The Crippler feels like he's settled into that angry elder statesman role well enough. 'These physiques don't make you a WRESTLER! I AM A WRESTLER!' I can hear him in absolute disgust screaming out.
  9. Jack Bruce once again giving the middle finger to business by encouraging rebellion. That is as JB of a story as there ever is. Wonder who else he may end up agitating as the weeks come on and create more of this chaos? Sounds like fun to think about. Now I just imagined Jack saying the wrong thing and Remo finally can't contain himself and attempts to murder Bruce. Not Brandon, not Paul(as we found out)...but the champion himself. Speaking of Remo, looks like Emma is realizing her biggest cash cow is indeed the current champion and trying to get him to preserve himself isn't a surprise. Wouldn't be surprising if he had fewer TV matches going forward. Another Chase connection in the former Blue Blood. I'm kind of wondering if Rogue will end up heading their way as well all things considered or if Eric might have some sort of connection of his own to add to this group. Maybe he can get a little bit of microphone time to explain why he did what he did as well. We'll see on that one. Also MAINSTREAM! I knew you had it in you! I know the Aweomeness have turned and all but getting music blasted in your ear like that makes me Mainstream as the babyface here. Rocky is almost bubbling with a different kind of anger than the one Gillmore is carrying. But it could damn well change who he is forever if he gives into it entirely. All this being slapped down and the obsession with Scythe will do that. It's brewing. And I don't know if Eric and company will know what could happen once he finally lets it loose. Poor James Prudence though...he was on the receiving end of all that. I wonder what HFH needs creatively if all these wrestlers are coming up and seeing big things. Maybe it's some tweak in presentation or something. I don't see what they see either right now but hey, a decent performance opposite Crippler isn't too bad. And lastly The Knights of Wrestling...Parker and Morgan. It is something different for them. Maybe this is what breaks Morgan out of his momentum funk.
  10. <p><strong>Joey Morgan</strong> vs. "SHOCKING" Matt Hocking</p><p> [standard Singles Match]</p><p> </p><p> Toss up. Joey probably needs some kind of win real soon.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>"BIG MONEY" Brandon James</strong> vs. "BAD, BAD" Lenny Brown</p><p> [standard Singles Match]</p><p> </p><p> Big Money starts to look a little more like Big Cat and mauls poor Lenny.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>The Crippler</strong> vs. High Flyin' Hawaiian</p><p> [Rematch from SWF RISE]</p><p> </p><p> This is gonna turn into a rubber match.</p><p> </p><p> Huey Cannonball vs. <strong>Mainstream Hernandez</strong></p><p> [standard Singles Match]</p><p> </p><p> MAINSTREAM!</p><p> </p><p> "PLATINUM" James Prudence vs. <strong>Rocky Golden</strong></p><p> [standard Singles Match]</p><p> </p><p> I like Prudence a lot honestly. I always have. He's a great support piece. He isn't going over the top babyface.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>KO Crew & Mikey Lau</strong> vs. Bret Starr, Remo, Rogue, and Spencer Spade</p><p> [4 vs. 4 Tag Match]</p><p> </p><p> I think there is more togetherness overall in the babyfaces. There are a few too many egos on the heel side to fully get along. Even if Lau and ATOMIC may have a disagreement of their own...</p>
  11. It should probably take some time before The Awesomeness are treated as babyfaces. They probably SHOULD be shunned by certain people they've wronged in the past though they could also be endorsed by a figure too to help the process. I think I can guess who that figure could be though. If they put in in ring performances like that it makes the turn a little easier to get the audience to start to accept. Brandon James being connected back to Emma and Eric isn't a surprise(more so Emma) considering the past history there. Hopefully he can deliver with Rocky when that time comes. Also I just in canon think Remo is just spoiling for a better kind of fight and there are only a couple of people he feels like brings the best kind of fight out of him. In a way that sounds SUPREMELY arrogant but that's part of the point. And even with two different foes he doesn't feel like he'd get it and Emma, in her own way, verbalized it. I wonder if Emma will have it dawn on her that Remo might be more important to certain plans than Eric even. That'd be interesting to see play out. This show was the Spencer Spade show. I know Starr had his chance earlier with the show kind'a based around him. The promo delivered but the match not so much. Spade did. Wonder if Mainstream is next. Awesomeness vs Spade/Mainstream feels like it'd be a very modern and aerial based war in a way. Seems very different compared to the more brawl heavy tag teams... Also Dillon and Ranger just need to continue to punch people in the damn face! RDJ will sternly approve of that.
  12. High Flyin' Hawaiian w/ Ekuma vs. Randy Unleashed [standard Singles Match] I know this is a good spot to see what High Flyin' Hawaiian has but I doubt he's going over Randy. The Boys w/ RDJ vs. The Pain Alliance [standard Tag Team Match] PUNCH THEM IN THE FACE! Brandon James vs. Chris Caulfield [standard Singles Match] This would've had way more heat 10 years ago if Chris decided to go to SWF instead of USPW and you kept these two apart for a bit before bringing them back together. Here is hoping they have a little magic left. The Crippler vs. "The Dragon" Mikey Lau [standard Singles Match] I think The Dragon plays a little more aggressive here. "The Radioactive Wrecking Machine" ATOMIC vs. "Dirty Rotten Scoundrel" Rogue [standard Singles Match] I can see this going the other way but...I think Rogue beats the wrecking machine because ATOMIC will NOT play dirty even for his love of fighting where as with Rogue? It's in his name!
  13. You have a smasher and a Dragon challenging Remo. That sounds like a different kind of challenge. Also RDJ coming in, a legitimate Total legend working with people who are essentially his build. I almost expect fun vignettes where they're drinking in bars and beating people's asses with RDJ coaching them on the finer points of how to punch someone in the face. Ha. Sounds like fun to me though. Also...maybe next time for my boy Mainstream for the North American Title. Maybe next time.
  14. Randy Unleashed vs. Z-Dub [No Disqualification Match] My gut is telling me in this situation Randy needs the win just that little bit more. Dallas Cowboys vs. Fame & Money [standard Tag Team Match] Tempted to go the other way but...I think the face side in the tag division could use this. Hawaiian Crush vs. Undeniable (Hernandez & Spade) [standard Tag Team Match] I'm a Hernandez mark. The Crippler vs. Lenny Brown [standard Singles Match] Hm...I'm gambling on the younger guy here. Des Davids vs. #1 Contender to the NA Championship [Non-Title Match] DQ if it is a certain member I'm hoping for? That is a possibility. Remo vs. Joey Morgan [Non-Title Match] REMO SMASH!
  15. I would be okay with this under the condition that he impersonates two different Supreme legends, one associated with each title in some way.
  16. I went with Mainstream looking to become a 2 time North American champion and the story of ZWB having the ultimate chance of a lifetime against this big monster Remo. They seem like fun one offs.
  17. Matt Faith with Runaway Train. I can imagine Train and Christian Faith probably had numerous encounters back in the day so that's interesting. Him rebelling against his father's legacy and all. The irony is maybe he has a career closer resembling a Runaway Train type rather than his father in the end. Maybe. Time will tell how he turns out. Parker and Lenny pulling a nice little grade on the promo and that's a decent enough tag main event for the secondary show. Wonder how big Crippler's scope on hating 'these damn kids' will get. ...and John Greed is just money in almost any role he's in. Probably one of the most reliable heat magnets on the roster just for what he brings. Always liked him.
  18. <p>Rogue vs. <strong>Z-Dub</strong></p><p> ["New Year's Revolution" Contract On the Line]</p><p> </p><p> I feel like you can really cement Z-Dub as one of your best babyfaces here. It's a gamble but hell...why not?</p><p> </p><p> Hawaiian Crush© vs. <strong>The Awesomeness</strong></p><p> [sWF World Tag Team Championships Match]</p><p> </p><p> Hawaiian Crush doesn't really do it for me as a pairing right now. They don't seem that interesting to me at the moment and honestly both probably need a little more development. That and I just like the idea of The Awesomeness being jerks.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Mikey Lau</strong> vs. Paul Huntingdon</p><p> [standard Singles Match]</p><p> </p><p> Mikey probably gets a little bit of revenge but this could also be a DQ and a repeat 3 on 1 beatdown until a potential save.</p><p> </p><p> ATOMIC vs. <strong>Mainstream Hernandez</strong></p><p> [1-1 Tiebreaker Match]</p><p> </p><p> I like Mainstream Hernandez. I just do. I like Atomic too but I really like Mainstream. The dude is money.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Des Davids©</strong> vs. Spencer Spade</p><p> [sWF North American Championship Match]</p><p> </p><p> Des Davids continues going forward here I think. He's got two more members to go through yet potentially.</p><p> </p><p> Rocky Golden vs. <strong>Scythe</strong></p><p> [Cinematic Warehouse Match]</p><p> </p><p> This is Scythe's domain. I think I'll go with him to win it.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Remo©</strong> vs. Valiant</p><p> [sWF World Heavyweight Championship Match]</p><p> </p><p> I have always liked the idea of pairing Emma Chase even back in the 2010 database with Remo. A sports agent woman with an all business ass kicker so she can provide the one thing Remo doesn't always like to do...the words. That way when Remo talks...it means something.</p>
  19. <p>High Flyin' Hawaiian vs. <strong>Huey Cannonball</strong></p><p> [standard Singles Match]</p><p> </p><p> Yeah, HFH kind'a is more needed in tags right now.</p><p> </p><p> "Imma Bad... Man..." Lenny Brown vs. <strong>Matt Hocking</strong></p><p> [standard Singles Match]</p><p> </p><p> A heel Matt Hocking almost feels like he'd fit in with a certain egocentric group.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>"The Honorable" Valiant</strong> vs. 'Sam Strong'</p><p> [standard Singles Match]</p><p> </p><p> I think Valiant's temper is starting to boil a little. That'll be fun.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>"The Dragon" Mikey Lau</strong> vs. "High Society" Paul Huntingdon</p><p> [standard Singles Match]</p><p> </p><p> Huntingdon feels like he's been drifting for a while now. Lau does at least have a PPV win in his back pocket even if his TV matches last couple of times haven't been what you'd desire.</p><p> </p><p> Joey Morgan vs. <strong>Randy Unleashed</strong></p><p> [standard Singles Match]</p><p> </p><p> Morgan's turned into the JTTS on the face side. Randy feels like he might have some interesting things to do as well so...</p><p> </p><p> "Big Money" Brandon James vs. <strong>Z-Dub</strong></p><p> [standard Singles Match]</p><p> </p><p> Z-Dub and Davids are probably the two candidates who feel like they're the closest to being the number 3 babyface. Z-Dub feels like he's closer to that mantle though so a win over a declining Big Money(and another former World Champion) continues his stock.</p><p> </p><p> ...I kind of see money in an underdog tale with Z-Dub and Remo down the line...</p>
  20. That isn't the first time I've seen a grade from Jungle Lord and gone 'Oh damn. He still has something.' Way to go Jungle Lord!
  21. Mainstream seems like he's doing really well in particular. I always liked him better as a babyface mind you but I've always been a fan of his regardless of the version and think he can be a constant solid wrestler for one's roster. I know the individual performances don't fully add up but doing an 80 with Atomic no matter the circumstances is a bit of an eye opener too. Not because Atomic is some bad worker or anything like that at all but...I think of the trio to me he might be the safest bet.
  22. It is very interesting what could be done here. Also don't heel on Remo dirtsheet writer, your opinion don't matter to Remo!
  23. No.1 Contender's Match: Dan DaLay vs Bobby Thomas Sure, let's give the big guy something here. Last Man Standing Preview: Crusher Haverford vs Delivery Drone #2 vs Delivery Drone #4 vs Delivery Drone #5 vs Delivery Drone #6 Crusher SMASH! Hugh Ancrie vs Skip Beau Yeah, we'll go with Skip. Frozen North vs The Gear-Heads Just because I like the name. ... and voting for the Last Man Standing Rumble begins! Thumbs Up (Pick 3 to enter later in the rumble): Joey Poison. His poison gimmick later in the rumble can be fun. Robin Delay. Why not? Something different and maybe even Dan does some manipulating here. Stevie Grayson. It'd be a fun late addition. Thumbs Down (Pick 3 to enter earlier): Sayeed Ali. I love Ali. I kind of want his arc to dominate the early portions of the rumble. This isn't because I hate him. It's more the opposite. Let him dominate the early portions with his story here. Bobby Thomas. I've never been high on Bobby myself to be honest but he can be a good worker early in the rumble for you. Drake Young. He can have an entertaining spot early in the Rumble.
  24. <p><strong>“The Supreme Star” Spencer Spade</strong> [vs] “The Pure Athlete” Art Reed ©</p><p> [COTT World Heavyweight Championship Match]</p><p> </p><p> A rematch. I get the feeling something's happening here. Gut is telling me Spade wins one for the young guys because that's probably the most apt young guy to dethrone Art.</p><p> </p><p> The Heartbreakers (Justin Sensitive and Raphael) [vs] <strong>The Ring Generals (“Deadly” Dean Waldorf & “Marvelous” Marv Statler)</strong> © w/ Haley Buck</p><p> [NYCW Tag Team Titles Match]</p><p> </p><p> Feels a little early to switch this. Could be some screwy finish here though. The tag division suddenly seems like it's got a bunch of new life everywhere.</p><p> </p><p> "The Amish Brawler" Jebediah [vs] <strong>Man Mountain Cahill</strong></p><p> [Grudge Match]</p><p> </p><p> HOSS FIGHT! Could legit be Jeb being so pissed off he actually gets DQed to stand up to him. But hey...HOSS FIGHT!</p><p> </p><p> @miller_fforde & “The Man Without Fear” Sonny Wildside [vs] <strong>Generation REED (“Glorious” Logan Diaz & Greg Gauge)</strong></p><p> [Number One Contenders Match – NYCW Tag Team Titles]</p><p> </p><p> I really like the idea of Greg in particular aligned with Art Reed mainly because it can also be viewed as Art showing respect to his generation and the one before that(Sam taught him his submission) and paying him back more or less. In the words of Eric Tyler...the School of Tradition lives.</p><p> </p><p> Freedom Eagle [vs] <strong>Philippe LaGrenier</strong> w/ Doctor O'Haire ©</p><p> [NYCW Tri-State Regional Title Match]</p><p> </p><p> Routine title defense.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Joffy Laine</strong> [vs] Princeton Pryce</p><p> </p><p> Probably the eventual choice to dethrone Phillppe.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Ace Youngblood</strong> [vs] The Masked Mauler</p><p> </p><p> The most natural rival to the current Tri-State champion due to character differences AND the similar circumstances(Both being part of a tag team in NYCW and now both competing in singles) and I probably wouldn't be too opposed to Ace winning it either.</p>
  25. Bulldozer Brandon Smith © [vs] Prisoner No. 6 w/ Doctor O'Haire [NYCW Empire Title Match] Gambling here, yeah. The Night Terrors (Babau & Moroi) [vs] The Ring Generals (“Deadly” Dean Waldorf & “Marvelous” Marv Statler) © w/ Haley Buck [NYCW Tag Team Titles Match] Get me over tag title defense. "The Amish Brawler" Jebediah © [vs] Philippe LaGrenier w/ Doctor O'Haire [NYCW Tri-State Regional Title Match] Could be the start of a feud here. Steve Flash [vs] The Masked Mauler I need a hero! The Heartbreakers (Justin Sensitive & Raphael) [vs] Notorious (Carlos Barrera & Miguel Rivera) Raphael especially can turn into one hell of a worker. @miller_fforde & “The Man Without Fear” Sonny Wildside [vs] ??? Hm...toughie. I'll just gamble on the babyfaces. Animal Harker [vs] Princeton Pryce I almost want to say Pryce is the replacement you got when you let Rick go. He puts Harker over.
