  1. The match was 16 mins long and The Undertaker and Curt Hennig are in a feud with a heat of 82. The only road agent note for my match was Undertaker to win with a regular match style. I can't check much for WCW other than Virgil and Sting aren't in a storyline. For my product, major matches are penalized for being less than 15 mins (mine was 16 as well as 2 mins non match time) so it was over the threshold and matches are penalized for having no storyline which mine did.
  2. I'm playing the 1996 mod and WCW's main event was Virgil vs Sting and it got an 89 segment rating. Meanwhile I had The Undertaker vs Curt Hennig and got an 81 rating even though 'Taker is more popular and had a better match performance than Sting and Hennig is more popular than Virgil. The only way their match was better was Virgil getting an in ring rating of 64 whilst Hennig got a 63. How did the AI book a much better match than me when my worker's are more popular and performed better?
  3. Started out as Phineas Godwin and in a tag team with Henry Godwin until all the promises came through, at which point I turned him heel and used the Mideon name. His gimmick is masochist as I felt it fit the picture I have of him and it is rated as great.
  4. Currently playing the 1996 mod as WWF and Mideon is about to become WWF champion due to the fact so many people backstage have offered to put him over, he has gone from being recognizable to being a star in less than a year. Owen Hart, Faarooq, Bam Bam Bigelow, Psycho Sid and now Bret Hart all offered to put him over and I've happily obliged. What's your biggest success story from these promises/offers?
  5. <p>It might just be down to the mod you are using. The workers on modern 2020 mods (with exceptions being the likes of Lesnar and Cena) just don't have very high popularity and in ring stats also aren't that high. </p><p> </p><p> You're best bet is to either power on through with the lower ratings and eventually they'll start to improve or try a different mod where the stats are a bit higher. If you want a 2020 mod, try the Killing the Business mod. It's got less workers but the stats are a bit better for popularity based companies.</p>
  6. This may just be me being a bit stupid but what is the point of a standard written contract? It just seems useless. If you are going to sign someone on a written deal you might as well just sign them to an exclusive written as you can still approach people and sign them if they have a standard written contract. It just seems to be paying the same as an exclusive written but with none of the safety.
  7. Go into the roster section and click on the worker's name at the top. You can change it from there and save it as an alter ego.
  8. <p>I don't know if this is a thing but could be to do with worker </p><p> styles/personalities? For example, it could be argued that the Hardy's have very different personalities to each other and if the mod makers have made them have wildly different personalities, that could explain bad chemistry. </p><p> Same if two in ring workers have bad chemistry. Maybe it's down to clashing in ring styles that don't work well with each other. I don't know if this is a thing or not but you could try looking into it. </p><p> Try having Rich Money and Running Wolf face a different opponent with the same wrestling style and see what their chemistry is like.</p>
  9. I suppose the argument against that is that guys like Tiger Mask and Evil exist exist in Japan. I suspect it's for ease of the user so you don't have to translate different names to know what they are.
  10. If a wrestler is loyal to company, I feel that that worker should stay with that company until either death, controversy or something equally notable. Quite often I see the AI release guys because they are old but still an active wrestler. It would be nice to the loyal guys stay put rather than just getting released because they are too old.
  11. As well as this, it could be good to get emails about workers whose stats are improving the most and least so you know who to keep an eye on for either calling up in the future or who isn't improving and should be released.
  12. When playing as a booker, it would be handy to have a blacklist all button as you get owner goals which specify styles of wrestlers you can't sign without penalty. At the moment you have to do it one at a time by going into the worker profile to click it which is quite time consuming.

  14. On TEW 2016 in the 2004 mod, guys like Jeff Hardy and Sabu were more or less unhireable due to their drug problems and them turning up wasted every show. However, I've been playing this save for 3 months and neither has turned up wasted to work. Jeff is even a heavy soft drug user but he has been clean all game. Am I just lucky or has the game decreased the amount of turning up wasted to shows?

Or at least that's what he should have been had it not been for two factors: his horrendous lack of fitness and his unwillingness to improve it. He could barely walk to the ring without blowing up, let alone wrestle a two minute match. Instead of giving up the dream of the wrestling industry, Chander has transitioned in being a referee and has so far been able to impress enough to receive a few small bookings across India. 17. Is anyone else struggling to get wrestlers to the Major Star/Star perception ranking? Between them I only have 7 wrestlers with only being Major but only another save where I'm playing as my own company and SWF is AI controlled they have 5 Major Stars with another 8 stars. Am I missing something in terms of building up wrestlers?
  18. Personally, I go for PPV until I feel like I have enough money in my back pocket to risk losing it on a TV deal. When I feel like a TV deal could work, I get a short term deal to see if it turns a profit or not. If it does, I extend the deal and if not, I'm not locked into a contract where I'm constantly losing money every show or pay a large amount to get out.
  19. <p>I've hit a crossroads as to what I should have as the main event of The Supreme Challenge as I have two ideas for what should main event but I'm not sure which one to go with.</p><p> </p><p> Option 1: Have The Crippler win his first SWF World Championship a few months prior before losing in the main event of Supreme Challenge to Rocky Golden and having him retire.</p><p> </p><p> Option 2: Have Randy Unleashed win the title with that setting up the main event being Randy Unleashed vs ZWB (the Bumfholes collide) with ZWB going over. </p><p> </p><p> It's short term booking vs long term booking and I'm not quite sure which way I want to go with it.</p>

  21. I've started up my own company and I would have to say that I agree with the lack of available wrestlers being annoying. However the "Talk to Worker" function has allowed me to bring in a couple of non-Indians to boost popularity there. Asif Allam and Kishnan Tahil make for a great announcing duo but I feel with India it is going to be a much more long term game. Most of the Indian workers are so it's just going to be a case of getting them popular and good enough wrestlers to get good match ratings.
  22. https://i.imgur.com/TtVyeXL.png?1 I'm guessing the wellness policy doesn't apply to Vince McMahon.
