  1. <p>Favorites:</p><p> </p><p> 1) BCG: To be honest this should be a one company list because I far and away love this company the most(but what fun would that be). I really enjoy the core roster and pushing the loyal guys with this company is just too much fun. My longest games are all related to this company and.....</p><p> </p><p> 2) MAW: These guys are a bit of a grind but I feel like that's true for all the companies I enjoy. The homegrown MAW guys have fallen off a bit from the previous versions of the game and I feel like that's what I like most about them. I almost always try and have The Architect, Wolfe, Fforde, DeMarcus, Gray, and The Dynamite Express at UM/ME by the end of the first year and have one of them win the Rip Chord by 2017.</p><p> </p><p> 3) CGC: This is nearly the only large company I actually enjoy booking. The DeColt's are easy to book so for me it's nearly everyone else I'm here for! Love booking Gargantuan and Prometheus and I love the babyface trio of Price, Dunn and Identity. Outside of the tag division this is nearly a perfect company to play as.</p><p> </p><p> 4) OLLIE: Just a fun company to book. There almost feels like no real end goal as it would take a very long time to even sniff the atmosphere that SOTBPW is in but Mexico as a territory is soooo deep and fun that even being the second biggest fish in this pond is a great time. You lose Montero, Mephisto, Extraordinario, and Lopez? Pick up Mitico, Blue Phantom, Chess Maniac, and Atlantis Jr. I could also roll off like 15 more dudes that are just free agents out there.....Mexico is so awesome in this game.</p><p> </p><p> Honorable Mentions: NYCW, TCW, AAA</p><p> </p><p> Least Favorite:</p><p> </p><p> 1) BHOTWG/USPW/SWF/SOTBPW: Basically all the giants. I just can't get into the challenge of being these companies. I've started a game with each company and have never made it beyond the two month mark.</p><p> </p><p> 2) EXODUS 2010: Mostly just based on having a large loyal base of workers that appear to be awesome and me not being able to use them as BCG(BCG should always be at war with the entire movement). They also have basically an infinite amount of Yakuza money so the company never goes out of business or gets to the point of being bought out.</p><p> </p><p> 3) RAW: A company that's what 40% in ring product? Nah, I'm good.</p><p> </p><p> 4) CZCW: I struggled a bit to figure out what to put here but I decided to just go with the company I have just literally no interest in. Nothing about them makes me want to play them and I never have. Outside of The American Cobras and Jaguar and Tigre I've never even used a single CZCW roster member with another company. I don't know if there is a single reason why I've never used them but here we are!</p><p> </p><p> Dishonorable Mentions: GCG, NOTBPW, 5SSW</p>
  2. <p>Started my first ever game with PSW and have had a great time with it so far! 13 months in and outside of the initial pilfering of my ME scene(Callum and Black) I've only lost one other roster member and it was Edd Stone(he quit TCW and was picked up by NOTBPW after they popped back up to National).</p><p> </p><p> I did pick up a handful of guys and the only way I found to make money in the early part of the game was to run two shows a month but by the end of the year that didn't matter. I've taken a slow build approach with Logan Wolfsbaine and Xavi Ferrera. Ferrara is currently higher up the card as a midcarder but Wolfbaine is going to be a beast! Even loosing most months the guy has gone from 6 to 30 pop in the region. </p><p> </p><p> Shockingly, to me at least, Madman Boone has really turned into the heart and soul of the company. He's 40 but not yet in declined and has really improved in ring including his stamina going up to allow around a 12 minute match from him! He got a run with the title for about 6 months before loosing it back to Grandmaster Phunk. But after Edd Stone left I finally pulled the trigger on Ash Campbell.</p><p> </p><p> Ash and Ernest had been carrying the in ring all year and Ash is getting a thank you run with the big boy belt because of that and Ernest is getting a "don't notice how awesome I am big 3" run in opening matches after tearing it up with Fro Sure and getting him to the ME. </p><p> </p><p> But my favorite thing so far is getting Vendetta to the upper midcard. I've never played a game(at least this feels true) that PSW decides to keep Vendetta around. I'm assuming it is because he's just awful backstage. But I've only had one incident and he was appreciative of the punishment I gave him. He still is extremely negative but he seems to have been ok after that. I have now moved him into a hardcore fued with his partner Martyr in tow against Madman Boone.</p><p> </p><p> Champions:</p><p> Main Title: Ash Campbell (4 def since 9-16, won from vacant)</p><p> National Champion: Cali Slick (0 def since 2-17, won from Fro Sure)</p><p> Tag Title: Devil May Care (1 def since 12-16, won from Slick/Mobstar)</p>

I can't 100% talk for BHOTWG since I tend to use PGHW which being touring has more shows, but your guys wrestle a ton and will develop pretty quick, guarantee you at least 6 months in you'll be cruising with BHOTWG if you're giving everyone regular in-ring time. <p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Greg Gauge is my automatic one. </p><p> </p><p> Air Attack Weasel</p><p> Art Reed</p><p> Buddy Garner</p><p> Davis Wayne Newton</p><p> Dean Daniels</p><p> Dean Waldorf</p><p> Ernest Youngman</p><p> Greg Black</p><p> Logan Wolfsbaine</p><p> Marv Statler</p><p> Masked Stranger</p><p> Nelson Callum</p><p> Roger Cage</p><p> </p><p> And if you need some extra ones...</p><p> </p><p> Bradford Peverell</p><p> Bulldozer Brandon Smith</p><p> California Love Machine</p><p> Findlay O'Farraday</p><p> Frantic Ali</p><p> Fro Sure</p><p> Masked Cougar</p><p> Remmy Skye</p><p> Sayeed Ali</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I'd also add: The American Cobras(Spillane/Malloy), Austin Smooth, Dagger, and Masked Patriot(SWF never keeps him very long)</p>

Sounds fun. Curious if the heavy push on Gargantuan has made his personality worse? That's my one big concern with him. He's not massively negative to start with, but getting a popularity jump like that would worry me a bit.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Not really, he has for a raise of like triple his salary and I gave him half which made him upset but only for a minor moral issue. I gave him a grand and that went away and he's actually getting better which I didn't really expect, he's regularly pulling off mid 70's performances. I was only going to ride him for 4 months or so I think now I'm riding this through the rest of the year.</p>
  7. <p>Now into June 2016 with CGC and having a blast with the DeColt's and Co! I am still rolling with the Jack DeColt and Gargantuan fued and it has been unbelievably successful. Jack is 91 pop across Canada and Gargantuan is right behind him at 89. Story I'm going with so far is Gargantuan has gotten smart. He's kind of turned into a blend of brute force with a knack for mind games and it got Jack out of his rhythm as he dropped a tag fall to Gargantuan(small assist to an international object;)) and then he was pushed over the end when Gargantuan spit in his face during a lead in promo to Wrestle Festival. Gargantuan then bailed before Jack could react and avoided him until day two of the Wrestle Festival when they faced each other in the second round of the Wrestle Festival Tournament I'm running. Jack lost by a rage DQ and Gargantuan went on to win beating Ricky in the finals after he taunted Jack at ringside who went to attack his enemy with a chair and hit Ricky instead. Gargantuan used the victory to get a cage match with escape rules only at the next ppv and taunted Jack that he already attacked him with all the rage he had and Gargantuan still walked away and was the better man. During this time Ricky DeColt won a #1 contenders match to make him the new #1 contender after Chaos In The Cage. But due to the ending of the Wrestle Festival tourney Ricky makes it clear to Jack that he wants him to win so he can take Jack's title. With all of this weighing on the champion he was not able to over come Gargantuan after Adrian Garcia who had previous to this point just been our PPV colour guy interfered and allowed Gargantuan to win. Garcia revealed himself to be the guy helping Gargantuan take down the DeColt's the whole time and proclaimed an end to the DeColt's success in CGC!</p><p> </p><p> Down the card I've had Prometheus turn out a fairly successful feud with Donte Dunn. This has worked because they have excellent chemistry against each other and Prometheus menace promo's and attacks have kept the heat in the 60's to 70's range and has boosted Prometheus to UM. I've also signed Jared Johnson who was not resigned by NOTBW and stole Edd Stone from TCW when they fell to cult and only offered him a PPA deal. I've packaged them in a group with Blockbuster called Maple Leaf Misfits and they have been a fun group to book. I've also put Chucky Dorrance with them as a kind of comic relief/pin eater. Basically none of the group really seem to get along for more than a few seconds beside Stone and Dorrance and even that is because Stone laughs at what an idiot Dorrance is. This has actually helped get Chucky to midcard up from his starting ET push.</p><p> </p><p> Champions are currently Gargantuan for the World, Blockbuster with the Canadian(held since the begining of the game), and Zeus & Stevie with the tag straps(they are just keeping them warm for the Dirty White Boys/American Demolition feud I'm building), and Gargantuan won The DeColt Wrestle Festival Tournament.</p>
  8. <p>After a few months away I decided to restart a BCG game and got lucky for the first time ever and was able to keep Razan Okamoto! I also made a decision before the game started that I was going to push two loyal guys I never use....I guess well is the best way to put it in Rokuemon Matsushita and Naozane Goto.</p><p> </p><p> So far I've had more fun pushing Goto until around August when I noticed that Goto had maxed out his stamina......at 42 <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />. Real bummer as he has no prayer of being more than a solid tag worker even with his solid as heck SQ and godly menace. Matsushita on the other had continues to just be blah for me though. He took the mid card belt when Toshusai left but barely was able to increase it's prestige over the seven months he held the title. His selling has gotten a lot better but it's still solidly in the F territory but he's improving everywhere else at a good clip and has tons of charisma and his SQ is only eclipsed by Okamoto.</p><p> </p><p> Wanted to do stuff I'd never done before so I brought in a handful of workers I'd never used before, biggest hits have been Billy Russell, Roy Edison, and Art Reed. All on the older side with Russell and Reed both in their 40's, but neither was in time decline! Russell and Reed have been monsters with multiple 90+ in ring performances and Russell has great tag chemistry with Logan Wolfsbaine which has helped him immensely.</p><p> </p><p> I had Funakoshi beat Russell in the Finals of the Maeda GP and he won the title at Lion Rises from Torii in an (89) rated match(best of my save at the time). This had pretty firmly conviced me that I needed to go with Torii as my ace heading into the new year. But by Lion's Roar V that changed. In the semi main I had Torii face off with Art Reed, who was leaving for WLW soon, they turned out a 94! I was beyond pumped until my main event of Funakoshi v. Okamoto, this was a protected match(much like Okamoto/Torii has been) and their first match ended with Funakoshi victorious and a 99!!! needless to say I have a decision to make.</p><p> </p><p> Last thing(sorry, super long post), Team Taku dominated the tag scene, after TagMania they never dropped a fall. My reasoning for this is Toshinaka Taku at 49 years old was not in time decline! Unfortunately he was the last of nearly 20 guys that got poached off my roster by BHOTWG and it was in November, a non-touring month. My user character, Utemaro Nakatomi, has a love of junior heavyweights so I have added about 12 or so lightweight guys which has my roster feeling bloated but this has still been a really fun save, and I love BCG. Can't recommend them enough.</p>
  9. SAISHO now has a thread that's up to two pages. Figure it should be added.
  10. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="MrSelfDestruct" data-cite="MrSelfDestruct" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>PSW Update Dec2017<p> </p><p> John Greed has formed a new alliance as he called out Acid last night only to have him attacked by none other than Mutant and his own protege Acid II! (currently needing a name, although now it goes by Hellhouse)</p><p> </p><p> We had an international 3-Way Dance to open the tv show, all three men debuting, Jagged (of SOTBPW fame) is on loan from EMLL having never been available in USA, as he faced off with Greek Zeus Maxmilion and "Full-Blooded Italian" Antonio Del Vechio!</p><p> </p><p> Eddie Peak and Madman Boone have declared war again The Cartel, Mexico's Finest and Benito Bravo (EZ), to which Cali Slick took offence as well, calling out the two legends to bring him in to the fold.</p><p> </p><p> Dojo graduate Philip Sentier has been repackaged as Disasta and joined the Dead Men Walking for 6-Man action against the new tag champs Mach 2 and the also debuting Donte Dunn.</p><p> </p><p> The never-ending story that is Andrew Harper vs Sojuro Sen rages on with a PSW first Barbed Wire Cage match being announced for Christmas Carnage!</p><p> </p><p> In the main event, Edd Stone called out the World champion for his action against Acid and the two had an amazing matchup to close the show, with the champ putting his belt on the line and defending it once again.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Awesome stuff! PSW is so rarely discussed, I'd enjoy more updates on this company</p>
  11. I've taken a slightly different course of action with the tag division than I've seen currently posted. I did bring in American Demolition(Findlay/Bulldozer) to pretty much take over the current division. While building them up I had The Dirty White Boys take the straps so they get their last run. I also teamed up Alan Parent and Skip Beau as a couple of nerds and have them managed by Sweet Tabitha(now just Tabitha) and call them Weird Science. Other moves have me picking up Garry The Entertainer, teamed him with Drake Young as Funny = Money, and Larry Wood, teamed him with Brett Fraser as The Last Real Men. Garry and Drake have helped me keep The Predators and Montreal Mafia over and I had The Last Real Men cost DWB in there feud with American Demolition. Not exactly the road most traveled but actually has been pretty fun.
  12. <p>Just finished 2016 with MAW. Hadn't played as them since I first bought the game a year ago and I'm pretty rust with them. I only have $6000 in the bank after a year. This is mostly due to poor decisions to run multiple shows in a month for almost half the year and the industry being completely in the tank. </p><p> </p><p> Oddly had NYCW declare war on me, which I didn't think was possible since we are both still in the COTT. Based on this NYCW has decided to steal George Wolfe and there isn't a lot I could or really want be doing about it(They are a bigger company and I'm at my core currently a dev company). </p><p> </p><p> By bringing in outside talent for the Rip Chord and Sam Keith tourneys I've had Keith decide I need to keep Storm Spillane, Dragon Americano, and Gino Montero. Since it's his company I figure I may as well use them to the max capability as Gino has been a huge help after Gauge was signed by GCG right before the Sam Keith tourney the other two less so by Storm has basically been on tour in PGHW since he signed with me.</p><p> </p><p> Hopeful that I don't have to sell my dojo to keep going, current pushes are going to Gino, Roddy Remus ©, Remmy Skye, The Architect, and Jackpot Jordan who got release after 3 months of game time.</p>
  13. Man that crazy good. I've mostly got the Asesinos as my rudo jobber team that I've been using to build up my handful of young technicos I signed. But I may as well give them a push. Silver Tiger doesn't need a manager anymore I could easily reassign Ms. Reyes to be there mouthpiece....good stuff!
  14. <p>Got two games rolling at once:</p><p> CGC June 2016:</p><p> </p><p> World: Gargantuan</p><p> Canadian: Donte Dunn</p><p> Tag: American Demolition (Bulldozer Brandon Smith, Findlay O'Farraday)</p><p> WrestleFestival Tournament: Gargantuan</p><p> </p><p> Not deep into this game but I'm having all kinds of luck with Gargantuan. He's been in beast mode the entire game and his in ring has shockingly never gone below 60's in a match. Unfortunately I haven't been able to say the same about Blockbuster, which wasn't for a lack of effort. I let him hold the Canadian title for 4 months of game time before I threw in the towel. </p><p> </p><p> BCG Jan 2017: </p><p> </p><p> World: Funakoshi</p><p> Challengers Series: Azumamaro Kita</p><p> Tag Champs: Team Taku (Toshinobu and Yoshinaka Taku) 2nd time</p><p> Young Lion Title: Isoruko Arakaki</p><p> Maeda Grand Prix: Tsuneyo Yanagimoto (left 2 months later)</p><p> TagMania Winner: American Demolition (both left 6 months later)</p><p> </p><p> Story of this game has been defections. Started slowly only losing Toshusai, Sotomura, and Okamoto(ouch). Then nothing until July when I lose 23 guys in less than three months! My roster is now a lot heavier in gaijin than I really like but I figure I'll be able to poach guys from PGHW and BHOTWG soon enough.</p>
  15. <p>Just closed out the main storylines for CGC at Chaos in the Cage. Right before the ppv Alex gives me a new goal that I have to keep Jack above 71 pop in Canada. I was a little worried as I had gotten him up to 75 and my plan was for Gargantuan to take the strap. I went with it any way and both Jack and Gargantuan sky rocketed upward. Jack is at 80 pop now in Canada and Gargantuan wins a feud against my figurehead and is now 72 pop(starts at 58 IIRC)! </p><p> </p><p> Game plan now is a quick fued with Christian price and then on to Danny Fonzarelli and Ricky DeColt until next year. I'm planning on building up Price all the way to the WrestleFestival tournament I'm using and have him lose in the Finals to Jack. At this point it's heel time and if everything goes well a title run for Christian Price.</p><p> </p><p> Still haven't found a replacement program for Thrill Seeker and Ricky DeColt yet. Thrill Seeker will most likely get paid with Jack and use his stable of new guys(Youngman, Gauge, Jameson) to try and tip the scales in his favor. Ricky will end up with Frederique Antonio Garcia who is in time declined and I picked up for a year to bleed off pop and put over Ricky, Donte Dunn and either Ross Henry or I Cubed.</p><p> </p><p> CGC is super fun this is my first game ever with them. I'm thinking I'll be through year 1 by the end of the week.</p>
  16. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Apupunchau@optonline" data-cite="Apupunchau@optonline" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43724" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Its his name. I've had games where his potential was through the roof but I just an't seem to get past his name.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Completely! It's the same reason I've never picked him up, which is kinda silly, I could just change the guy's name!</p><p> </p><p> His picture also kinda matches the name though. He looks like a Shufflebottom....</p>
  17. No it isn't......but El Mitico Jr. does appear 35-45 times in this thread.
  18. Motoyuki Miyake and Kyuichi Matsumoto. I always pick them up and put them in a tag team. If feels like every time I team them up they have chemistry, plus Miyake is a real prospect and seems to really elevate Matsumoto. When in North America I always seem to find my way to Intrepid Ian Identity as CGC seems to get tired of him pretty quickly. Not sure why his entertainment skills are always pretty good and the dude has the DeColt training pedigree.
  19. BCG is by far my favorite company to play through. The poaching does deprive me from playing some of the cooler characters like Okamoto but I just love the core roster of loyal guys. Torii, Funakoshi, Blast, Yoshinaku Taku, and Matsushita are all interesting characters to book with and I can use Torii, Funakoshi and Taku to main event touring shows against lower card guys and pull good to great ratings. The biggest challenge I've run into is making money but I find about a year out from the "big event" in May/June I've actually gotten pretty successful.
