  1. Not really, just as long as they don't go for too long and get penalised.

From a purely mechanical perspective, it makes sense to keep guys in storylines (like a champion being in his own storyline against multiple different opponents) as workers need a set amount of segments before they get bonuses.

How long before they get penalties. I was thinking of having my Champs in feuds that lasted their entire reign with alot of supporting guys except the one who will eventually take it.

  2. I put in my Protagonists and a few supporting roles. after the feud end ends I just end it. I read somewhere that people just swap out people but, I don't know how people get the momentum boost from them. What makes me think about this? well at the end of my 6 month feud both protagonists were rated great by the end but, at the end of my 3 month feud they were rated fairly good. I'm not sure if it affects the match or not but, if it does I'd like to fix it.

I plan my big stories around title pictures, and my smaller ones around faction rivalries. I have 12 storylines, I just had 16. I cycle people in and out of storylines as they fulfill a purpose. Lloyd will leave the storyline with Lukas and Paul to pursue Hawkins, in the above example, while Ashton Chase will join the title picture with Lukas and Paul. I give big pushes to anyone who needs escalated up the roster. This happens purely on company need.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> When it comes to storylines do you just keep the same Story named maybe "World Title", for years and just cycle people in?</p><p> And how does this cycling process work?</p>
  4. 1. What I do is start by knowing my roster. I know who's feuding with who on my roster, because I made the company in the editor. I have 4 big PPVs a year, and my biggest matches are reserved for it. Right now, I have Lloyd Nelson feuding with Lukas Astro and Paul Hunter. Lloyd will face Lukas at the big event - but in the smaller lead-in, they will have a 3-way. After Lukas wins, I will stick another face Major Star in with Paul and Lloyd to make Paul the number one contender. So, this can drag itself out for a while - the 1v1s happen on Big 4, the 3-way and 4-way on smaller ones.

I like to save 1v1 matches to make them special. Also, because I have 3 brands, I do tend to forget who faced who how recently. So I use a lot of 3-way, 4-way, and 1v2 handicaps to get through the weeks leading into a PPV. Same with tags - I reserve 1v1 and 2v2 matches for when an older hand is explicitly putting over a younger one. Otherwise, it's a 2v4 or 2v2v2 or 3 way something.

Fired - Anyone who's time decline has rendered them unable to work 10+ minute matches. Anyone with a bad personality (bully, scumbag, etc).

    Hired:

Anyone with safety starting above 60 and age below 25.

Anyone who's render or text I like (Stamford Gagne here).

Anyone who does NOT have difficult attributes like Scumbag, Bully, Political Player that also does have a positive upside in their skills.

Lastly: I have two developmental companies, and about 7 child companies without developmental deals. This lets me have a constant stream of jobbers to beat if I accidentally book myself out of options and just need some people to lose but nobody can afford to.

I too sign people just because I like their Render.

Spider Isako, Aki something. Just recently hire Deanna desire and Rasheed something and turns out they have great managing chemistry.

I read somewhere about using a lot of tag matches for TV to save big matches but, I can't naturally come up with any they just feel random as hell.

Also how would you consider someone doing great in a match when their rating is usually somewhere around their popularity?

    1. Besides Royal rumble into Mania, how would you decide who gets title matches at each PPV while saving your BIG title Matches?

    2. After finishing a season finale how do you decide who will face who at your next PPV?

    3. How do you decide who feuds with who?

    4. How do you plan stories into your next Season Finale?

    5. How do you decide who will get that Big push if any push?

    6. How many rookies and over 40 years talent do you keep around?

    7. Who gets fired who gets hired?

  5. I think of the crowd heat as 0/+1/+2. It goes up 1 whenever you see "...made the crowd hotter" note in the report, which is pretty much any strong match/angle that doesn't have an aim specifically to do something else to the crowd. There's also a negative state, but it's pretty easy to avoid so I've not really gotten a hang of it, but if you have a complete bomb of a match that kills the crowd, you want to use Lift as a match aim to get out of it.

Pretty much every match gets a bonus for crowd heat, so something exciting like Steal the Show/Wild Brawl/Car Crash/High Spots will all do the best they can at +2.

Comedy/Eye Candy/Calm all drop the heat back to 0, so you should use them right after the exciting match to start the cycle over (you can do other stuff between the two, but not another exciting match).

Technical/Spectacle (and maybe Epic, I've never tried it) are ideal at +1 so it fits best as either the second segment of the show, or the second segment after the reset. I think they work okay at 0, but they benefit from a little bit of crowd heat.

Storytelling is unique in that it's essentially just the same as Regular, but with a different calculation structure and lower stamina requirements. It gets a bonus from crowd heat and will raise it if the match is good.

There are lots of ways to get to the same points and the show length and product requirements will strongly influence the best path for you, but an example show structure that would set up the ideal conditions for a Spectacle main event might be:

    - Spectacle (Main Event)

    - Hot angle (to +1)

    - Calm the Crowd (Back to 0)

    - Post-match angle (capitalize on the heat one more time))

    - Steal the Show (Buzzing)

    - Angle (to +2 if it's good)

    - Story Telling (to +2 if it's good)

    - Angle (to +2 if it's good)

    - Regular/Work the Crowd (0 -> +1)

This sounds a lot like a Thread I saw on here about crowd Management. It had picture but the never understood how hot the Crowd could get before burning out.

So the there are only 2 levels right, How long can they stay at Level 2?

  6. <p>How do you guys manage your rosters??</p><p> </p><p>

    I'm Playing CWA. Currently we only need 26 Wrestlers, Obviously I have 64. <img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

</p><ol style="list-style-type:decimal;"><li>Are there roles that you put your roster members in? Like; Young Up and comer, Rookie in need of training, dedicated vet, and stuff like that.<br /> <br /> <br /></li><li>I really enjoy NXT how it feels like I'm invested in everyone and it feels like everyone has Something going on. I'd like to replicate that in CWA, but I don't know how I'd go about determining who faces who and who feuds who.<br /> <br /> <br /></li><li>I really like the Women's Division and how it has SO many stars, While my Women's Division only has 1 Star a few Well known and Recognizables and Majority Unimportants. I don't know how to build other women without bringing down my 1 Star. (Like I did with a few of my guys.<img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />)<br /></li></ol><p></p>

  7. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="gmsubzer" data-cite="gmsubzer" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41693" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>hello everyone,<p> below is a spreadsheet i've been using for years and past iterations. it is something i took a few ideas from while creating my own. it has a slot for roster, t.v. show planning, finances, chemistry, tournament planning, and on and on. Seeing as i just started a game for CGC, i have a fresh sheet for everyone. While it's self explanatory; i think; i'll go over the Roster and the T.V. Show planning tabs real quick.</p><p> </p><p> Roster:</p><p> Down the left, we have the roster split by push and whether they are face or heel. The numbers at the top are automatically filled in when a Wrestlers name is entered so you don't have to constantly count your guys to see if you have a balanced roster. Wrestlers names are a default black. Then changed to match there Tag Team partner if they have one. Then the dark yellow/ golden backgrounds are a quick look as to who are champions are who are not.</p><p> </p><p> The rest of the slots are self explanatory. Titles and champs, tag teams, Managers, Creative meeting slots for Talk the talk, Next Big Thing, and Hot Prospects. Current story storylines, and Consider gimmick changes. Oh there is also a quick ratings guide in there as well. </p><p> </p><p> T.V. Show Planning:</p><p> You can get as simple or as complex as one wants with this. The Grey cells are for Main show show matche, Blue are for Pre Show. The yellow combined slots are for angles. The Pink(ish) slot next them is for segment rating incase you want to go back to see who's doing what in shows. The way i usually do it is i put the winner first, the loser/ or multiple losers in the second slot. That way there is no trying to remember who won the match im looking at. </p><p> </p><p> One little trick I used with this is i open a second excel sheet. I copy and paste the Roster from teh roster tab into this second slot. Then i can cut a wrestlers name from this sheet and paste it into the show and do a whole show that way. That way i know who's been used, whos been left out. Also, when you're done filling in the matches and angles, you can cop the row of info into the second sheet for whatever order you want it to be shown in, and then paste it back to the original sheet.</p><p> </p><p> Well anyway, heres the link. I hope any one who wants to use this really enjoys it. I know at times when im at work and i can't play the game, i still have access to this and i can plan a show or two ahead of time that i can run when i get home.</p><p> </p><p> CGG Roster Sheet.<a href="https://www.dropbox.com/s/6z7dmnuhyrh202m/CGC%20Roster.xlsx?dl=0" rel="external nofollow">https://www.dropbox.com/s/6z7dmnuhyrh202m/CGC%20Roster.xlsx?dl=0</a></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Um on the Roster Tab what is the Match times, Minor, Medium and the stuff on the top right mean?</p>
  8. <p>Basically how can make stars with no stars in the game?</p><p> </p><p>

Okay, I'm using a RW Mod I get an email after every show saying "Lack of Big Names"</p><p>

It says "You have a problem in that the fans expect a company of your size to featureat least three big names (Workers with an Average Overness of at least 77% across the Company's Home Area) and you simply do have enough of them. If you want to compete at this level, you need to either hire some stars or create some of your own."</p><p>

How can I make the stars I have higher when they are basically the top in the game?</p>
