  1. What an insanely cool idea, will definitely be following this. Push Chief Wiggum to the moon, when he turns on the ol' Wiggum charm he's world champion material!
  2. AAA Wrestle Queendom #6 Preview The go-home show before a new Queen is crowned is shaping up to be quite a spectacle. Finally our final four will square off to decide who are the final 2 in the hunt for the first AAA Women's World champion in the new era. The Bully Chris Amerson will take on Concepción Gomez in a match that is far too tight to call. The two grapples will surely put on ab absolute clinic. On the other side, youth will battle experience as Ashley Keith will face the Devils Daughter in an interesting contrast of styles. As the most experienced wrestler in the company, DD has had great success so far in the relaunched AAA. Elsewhere, the tag division is starting to shape up and we will see a 4v4 match between some interesting teams. Everybody in this match will be looking to gain momentum and perhaps for Cheyenne, she'll be looking to see her team co-exist for 5 minutes! Quick Picks Ruby Reece, Sabrina Wells, Morgan Stryker & Marie Sigil vs Kate Lilly, Debbie Rose & Good Lookin Bunny AAA World Championship Semi Final: Ashley Keith vs Devil’s Daughter AAA World Championship Semi Final: Concepción Gomez vs ‘The Bully’ Chris Amerson

  4. AAA Wrestle Queendom #5 Wednesday Week 1 March VS Ai Takami & Tina Blaze vs La Hija De Phoenix & Spider Isako There is very little to link Takami & Blaze or even Phoenix & Isako, but the language barrier was countered by both teams interest in hurting the other. Isako & Takami were wrestling this match by their own rules, neither being the legal woman instead just brawling endlessly on the outside. Meanwhile Phoenix showed a meanstreak that we have yet to really see from the start and definitely enjoyed having a chance at payback on Tina Blaze. Takami definitely struggled against Spider Isako and perhaps reading the way the tides were turning, she made a quick exit through the crowd as Isako chased her but ultimately was unale to catch up. The match came to an abrupt end when Phoenix hit a Spanish Fly to secure the 3 count. Winner: La Hija De Phoenix Match time: 15:27 Rating: 37 Reece & Wells are backstage being interviewed by the always overworked DeAnna Desire. She gets about two questions in before Sabrina Wells has given up any illusion of answering questions and just starts ranting again about AAA and its fans. Ruby Reece then takes over and directly accuses Stardust of trying to keep them down, asking why old ladies like Good Lookin Bunny can get opportunities and they can’t. Reece & Wells challenge GLB for next Sunday. Rating: 23 VS Kate Lilly vs Mary Sigil Mary Sigil has had an impressive start to her career in AAA, dominating near enough every match she has been in and the opening exchange against Kate Lilly was absolutely no different. The strength advantage for Sigil was very obvious as she tossed the far more experienced Lilly around the ring. Lilly is the far more experienced wrestler and it shows as she uses her speed to try and keep her distance. Sigil puts in a really impressive performance though and the match continued to go back and forth. Cheyenne clearly felt uncomfortable with that and rushed down to the ring to distract Lilly but it was always Sigil who seemed most annoyed by the interference. In the moment, Sigil is rolled up and pinned by Lilly. Winner: Kate Lilly Match time: 12:52 Rating: 49 After the bell, Sigil is furious. She clearly feels she had that match won and she is now confronting the woman who describes herself as Sigil’s agent. Stryker is quickly in the ring and in Sigil’s face, the pair having to be kept apart by Cheyenne who really looks out of their element. These two are supposed to be challenging for the tag belts in less than two weeks. Segment Rating: 36 The camera is back at the creepy abandoned asylum. It moves up the stairs to the top floor. There are multiple warning signs as we see the candle on in the room at the end of the hallway. The hall is dark but there is clearly movement in the shadows. The camera moves into the room but almost immediately, the candle goes out and the door slams shut. The feed goes dead before returning to the show. Segment Rating: 48 VS Chris Amerson & Ashley Keith vs Concepcion Gomez & Devil’s Daughter AAA have seen plenty of dysfunctional teams, it has seen one already tonight but Amerson & Keith might set the bar at a new low. The match begins with Amerson barking at Keith to get in the corner and to let The Bully start the match, but then she immediately tags out just to be difficult. Meanwhile Gomez & DD actually seem to coexist mainly because neither is especially one for words. A match between four of the biggest stars in the relaunched company has the crowd incredibly into it but the dysfunctional nature of the teams stops the momentum of either. Amerson & Keith opt to tag in and out by slapping the other in the face, which the crowd seem to enjoy but after one too many tags the pair start to exchange proper blows. Keith lands a particularly hard strike that rocks the Bully, but Gomez is quick to strike and locks in a rear naked choke and KOs Keith for a win by ref’s stoppage. Winner: Concepcion Gomez Match time: 20:21 Rating: 54 Show Rating: 51 Attendance: 92
  5. Just an update guys, work has been super busy recently and I'm away for the next two weekends so my writing time at the minute is nonexistent. So posting may slow down a little, but I just want to assure you that this is not dead or even on hiatus. I will be posting updates as regularly as possible as I'm still having an absolute blast with this
  6. AAA Wrestle Queendom #5 Preview Two weeks from now AAA will be presenting AAA: A Queen is Crowned and things are really heating up. Our final 4 in the world title tournament will pair off in tag team action. This is a massive opportunity for two of the competitors to pick up some crucial momentum before the semi finals take place next week. Elsewhere this is a lot of bad blood to be settled. Ai Takami & Spider Isako will continue their brutal feud as they share the ring with the equally at war La Hija De Phoenix & Tina Blaze, though it’s safe to assume that Piper Hale won’t be far away. The new #1 contenders for the tag titles may not be a cohesive team, but Marie Sigil has a massive opportunity 1v1 against Kate Lilly. Quick Picks Ai Takami & Tina Blaze vs La Hija De Phoenix & Spider Isako Kate Lilly vs Mary Sigil Chris Amerson & Ashley Keith vs Concepcion Gomez & Devil’s Daughter

  8. AAA Wrestle Queendom #4 Wednesday Week 4 February The show starts off backstage, Marie Sigil warns Cheyenne to stay out of her business. Cheyenne catches The Black Diamond off her guard by saying that if she wants, they’ve got a tag title #1 contender opportunity tonight. Sigil accepts but points out that Cheyenne is not her manager. The situation turns a little tense as Sigil shows no interest at all in who her partner will be. But that doesn’t stop Cheyenne from introducing her to the imposing Morgan Stryker, a black belt in both Judo and Taekwondo. Cheyenne continues to wax lyrical about her new client until Sigil simply tells her to stay out of her way tonight. Stryker looks ready to fight but Cheyenne calms her down. Rating:30 VS Talia Neema vs Ai Takami After being robbed last week, Talia Neema was quick to demand a rematch and sensing a war Sara Stardust was all too happy to indulge her request. The match started slow, mainly became Takami refused to lock up and only struck when she saw an opening. Neema again put in a very strong performance until Takami sensing trouble quickly rolled out of the ring. She started to back away until she froze in her tracks… Spider Isako appeared in front of her, not seen since Takami’s attack. Isako launched into a sprint after her enemy which sent Takami straight back into the ring and into the waiting Pyramid Choke of Talia Neema. Takami was left with no choice but to tap. Isako smirked as the bell rang, satisfied with her payback. Winner: Talia Neema Match time: 12:51 Rating: 42 Backstage we see Ashley Keith talking to Sara Stardust. She is the first to admit that Phoenix got screwed last week and she wants to run the match again. Stardust says she has a lot of respect for Keith and admires her commitment to sportsmanship but unfortunately the schedule is set and she’s confirmed for the next round. Keith isn’t happy but promises that WHEN she wins the title, that Phoenix will be here first opponent. Rating: 44 VS Good Lookin’ Bunny vs Marie Sigil & Morgan Stryker (w/ Cheyenne) The new dysfunctional team of Sigil and Stryker very nearly didn’t even make it out to their match, Sigil refused to enter when Cheyenne demanded instead making her own entrance and walking separately from her new partner. Good Lookin’ Bunny were met with a largely warm reaction from the crowd but there is a sense that they don’t belong in the new AAA and that is reflected in the somewhat subdued reaction. The bell had barely rang when Stryker caught Serena Star with a right hand and the crowd got their first taste of a very good wrestler with a very mean streak. Sigil was less willing to cheat and made her feelings clear but even she was clearly impressed by Stryker’s offence. Sigil had to tag herself in when Stryker backed up and the two younger wrestlers dominated the match against the veteran tag team who never got out of first gear. Stryker locked in a nasty Ankle Lock on Goodlooks who scrambled to the ropes but while the ref was trying to break Stryker’s grip, Cheynne pushed Goodlooks’ hand off the ropes and left her no choice to tap. After the match, Sigil and Stryker squared up with each other. This team is as dysfunctional as it is impressive. Winner: Morgan Stryker Match time: 12:32 Rating: 45 La Hija De Phoenix storms to the ring and the crowd are hot for it. Phoenix is wearing street clothes along with her mask and it’s clear just how furious she is. She grabs the mic and utters simply three words. “Piper. Hale. Now.” Before throwing the mic down. She doesn’t have to wait long as Piper Hale quickly appears outside with a smirk. Phoenix gestures her to the ring but Hale makes no movement, so Phoenix quickly scrambles out. She makes the way towards the woman that cost her the opportunity of being world champ… Blaze ambushes Phoenix and the pair quickly beat down the young Luchadora. Blaze holds Phoenix up before Hale lays her out with a boot. The pair stand tall raising their hands to signify a new alliance. Segment Rating: 33 VS Urena Frost vs Chris Amerson Young Finnish wrestler Urena Frost had a very unenviable task in her debut match, it’s said that Stardust personally travelled to Europe to scout the young wrestler and the early exchanges of this match very much showed why. Amerson tried to lock Frost down but she simply couldn’t and her frustration definitely grew. The Bully soon took control like she often does, slowed the match down like she often does and locked in a brutal looking kimura lock … like she often does. Winner: Chris Amerson Match time: 12:51 Rating: 58 Attendance: 90 (10,398) Show rating: 49
  9. AAA Wrestle Queendom #4 Preview The AAA fanbase is absolutely up in arms over the finish to last weeks show, people want answers from Piper Hale and they want to see what La Hija De Phoenix is going to do. Some reports state that Phoenix is back in Mexico recovering and won't be at the show tonight, but her fans are adamant that she'll be there. AAA is a company with both eyes on the future, but tonight we are going to see a nod to the past. Last week the tag champs issued an open challenge and 4-time AAA tag team champions Good Lookin' Bunny were the first team to answer the call. The pair announced they wanted to accept the match on social media and the response was 99% positive. … the 1% who have an issue with it was ambitious young manager Cheyenne who claims she is representing a hot young tag team and AAA is supposed to be the land of opportunity. Sara Stardust agreed and now we have a #1 contender match tonight. Elsewhere we find out who the final participant in our #1 contender final four will be as Chris Amerson takes on Finnish wrestler Urena Frost who will be making her AAA debut in a tough match. The ever-controversial Ai Takami will be wrestling for the second week in a row after her tainted win in their triple threat last week, Talia Neema demanded a rematch. Quick Picks Talia Neema vs Ai Takami Good Lookin’ Bunny vs Marie Sigil & ??? Urena Frost vs Chris Amerson Thanks for the kind words, they are much appreciated. I'll definitely make a roster list at some point, the roster is still slotting into place at the minute but I'll definitely get to it

  11. AAA Wrestle Queendom #3 VS VS Tina Blaze vs Ai Takami vs Talia Neema The crowd were clearly not fans of Ai Takami long before the match started and it certainly didn’t seem to bother the Japanese wrestler if anything she was clearly playing to it. Neema and Blaze were both out to impress while Takami seemed to want to do as little work as possible. Neema looked set to pick up the win when she locked in the Pyramid Choke on Blaze but the opportunist Takami rolled her up and took the win. Winner: Ai Takami Match time: 13:12 Rating: 41 Debbie Rose & Kate Lilly are backstage. They want to thank the fans for all the love they have received after winning the tag belts on their return but now they want to look for the future. In 3 weeks, AAA will be hosting it’s second event and the champs want competition. Debbie Rose offers up an open challenge to any tag team on the planet, come show us how good you are. Rating: 44 VS Esperanza Montero vs Marie Sigil Esperanza Montero took to social media after her debut to apologise to her fans for her first outing, she explained it was her first time in the States and she was overawed by the occasion. She then promised that if she got her opportunity at a rematch she would show just how good she is, Sara Stardust was all too happy to offer her that opportunity. This time, Montero took the early lead and really went after Marie Sigil. The ‘black diamond’ found herself struggling to get any sort of footing in the rematch to a bout she was completely in control of. Sigil is not one to be held down though and she gradually fought back into control before securing another impressive win. Winner: Marie Sigil Match time: 10:04 Rating: 22 Post-match Cheyenne quickly slides into the ring and raises Marie’s arm to the fans, Sigil quickly breaks her grip and backs her off. Cheyenne simply smiles and continues to applaud Marie Sigil for her victory. After a preview for tonight’s world title tournament match, the signal cuts abruptly and then jolts back into life. We are back at the abandoned asylum but now we are inside of the main building. The rooms inside all look long abandoned though it is clearly undamaged and seemingly untouched for a very long time. The feed moves quickly through the lower floors, natural light through the windows allowing us to catch little glimpses of the old building. We arrive at the second highest floor and the rooms here do seem more disturbed, it hasn’t been vandalised but it’s clear that something has been knocking stuff over. Suddenly there is a sharp banging noise from upstairs and the room shakes. The signal fades to black before returning to the show. Segment rating: 41 DeAnna Desire seems more on edge than usual as she sits down with ‘The Bully’ Chris Amerson and that tension only grows. Desire introduces Amerson as one of the favourites to be our first AAA World Champion and Amerson interjects to take issue with “one of” and not just “the favourite.” Amerson pretty much refuses to answer any of the questions posed to her, instead she takes this opportunity to tear into all her potential opponents. When asked who she thought would win tonight, she said she didn’t know who La Hija De Phoenix is and that nobody has cared about anybody named Keith for about 20 years. DeAnna suggested that after her impressive win last week, Concepción Gomez could prove difficult for Amerson. The interview really went downhill when Amerson declared this boring and put her headphones on instead. Desire got it back on track a little and asked Amerson about Urena Frost, the relatively unknown Finnish wrestler that Amerson will face next week. Though ‘The Bully’ mainly laughed to herself about how next week she’ll be the ‘Finnished’ wrestler. Rating: 40 VS Ashley Keith vs La Hija De Phoenix In a match that has been touted as having the potential to “be the best match in the revived AAA promtions short history” there is a massive fight feel here as two of the best young wrestlers on the planet square off. These two clearly took the chance to scout each other last week as the early stages of the match are slow and methodical; thankfully counters and avoiding offense quickly turns into an abrupt chaos. Ashley Keith looks to use her strong brawling style to stop the highflyer from getting to full speed and for a while it works but Phoenix is a very tough wrestler to keep down. Phoenix really gets some momentum going and has the crowd absolutely stunned when she hits a beautiful top rope Spanish Fly. In an effort to ensure the safety of the wrestlers in the ring, the referee moved in closer and unfortunately is caught with a stray boot that lays her out. La Hija De Phoenix covers Keith and the crowd count the three count but the ref isn’t in any state to do the same. Casting a frustrated figure, Phoenix tries to revive the ref… Piper Hale has stormed into the ring and blindsides Phoenix before hitting her with a Death Valley Driver. The crowd boo relentlessly as Hale drags Keith onto Phoenix and shakes the ref who counts a three. Winner: Ashley Keith Match time: 14:46 Rating: 45 Post-match a groggy Keith has absolutely no idea what happened as she clambers to her feet, she asks the ref what the hell happened before checking on her downed opponent who is out beneath her. The show ends with a confused Keith getting her hand raised and a very conflicted crowd, not wanting to boo one of their favourites but they know that Phoenix had this won. Rating: 40 Show Rating: 40 Attendance: 77 (9,336 viewers)
  12. Thanks for all the predictions guys, I've greatly appreciated all the feedback and interaction so far. I'm tallying up the predictions in the build up to the next event and have a small prize in mind Just wanted to reiterate because I probably didn't explain it well in the last post, if anybody wants to submit any questions for the interview with Chris Amerson I think that could be fun whilst also adding some character depth. But obviously don't feel obliged
  13. Would anybody be able to make me an AAA (cverse to be clear) World title belt for my diary, I really just want something simple with no gimmicks. Just a sleek looking world title belt. Thanks in advance if anyone can help
  14. AAA Wrestle Queendom #3 Preview The second round of the 8 woman world title tournament is starting to take shape, tonight either Ashley Keith or El Hija De Phoenix will join Devil’s Daughter & Concepción Gomez in the next round. Both are undefeated in their short tenors in AAA and it’s tough to pick which way this one will go. Elsewhere on the card, controversial joshi wrestler Ai Takami will make her AAA debut after attacking Spider Isako last week. Also tag champions Kate Rose & Debbie Lilly reportedly have an announcement to make. ‘The hardest working interviewer in the business’ DeAnna Desire has secured a unique interview segment for our fans, Chris Amerson will be answering (hopefully!) all of your questions in a segment dubbed #AskTheBully. Amerson has had a lot to say both in the ring and on social media but now she is going to communicate with our fans before she enters the world title tournament next week when she takes on Finnish wrestler Urena Frost. Quick picks Tina Blaze vs Ai Takami vs Talia Neema Esperanza Montero vs Marie Sigil AAA World Championship Tournament: Ashley Keith vs La Hija De Phoenix Questions to submit for #AskTheBully:

  16. AAA Wrestle Queendom #2 The show opens with a video from Spider Isako filmed backstage at a show in Japan. She wanted to take the opportunity to thank the AAA fans for all their support in her opening match and can’t wait to be back soon. Something catches her eye off screen and she moves to get up before another wrestler launches into shot and jumps onto her and starts to rain down strikes. The commentary team recognise her as Ai Takami once referees and staff pull her off Spider Isako. Takami looks very pleased with herself as she walks away. Rating:36 Jessie Pulver vs Sarah Riolli vs Jessie Pulver is a new AAA signing that is virtually unknown by the fans, but her physique makes her immediately noticeable. Especially against the much smaller Sarah Riolli. Riolli shows the heart that has a section of the fans already behind her but Pulver’s strength advantage proves too much. The match comes to a merciful end when Pulver hits an inverted sitout side powerslam to pick up the win. Winner: Jessie Pulver Time: 8:30 Match Rating: 33 Footage of Marie Sigil working out at the gym, she is benching a heavy amount when she is approached. The women introduces herself as Cheyenne and says that she is deeply impressed by Marie and wants to represent her. The self-proclaimed “Black Diamond” appears to give it some thought before saying that she is the next big star in this business and doesn’t need anybody latching onto her. Cheyenne urges her to reconsider before simply leaving. Rating:32 We go backstage to see Ashley Keith and La Hija de Phoenix talking strategy for their match tonight. Phoenix is quiet as she often is but there is a clear mutual respect between the two. Keith says she can’t wait to tear down the house with her next week but their only focus tonight is on building momentum for that match. Rating: 41 VS Ashley Keith & La Hija De Phoenix vs Millie Morgan & Chris Camelot Millie Morgan & Chris Camelot are clearly two wrestlers with bright futures and could be a strong part of the AAA tag team division in the future, but the quality of two of the brightest young wrestlers shone through in this match. Keith and Phoenix showed a good level of chemistry and whilst both are committed to reaching the top of the singles division, they’d be an interesting tag team for sure. Keith scored the win for her team. Winner: Ashley Keith Time: 8:41 Match rating: 46 The backstage interviewer with seemingly the hardest job in wrestling has yet another difficult talk as she tries to interview the stoic Concepción Gomez. DeAnna Desire asks questions about her legendary career as Gomez simply tapes up her wrists as she prepares to fight. Finally when DeAnna looks just about ready to give up when Concepción Gomez snatches the microphone from her hand and simply remarks “champion.” Before walking off. Rating: 31 VS AAA World Championship Tournament: Concepción Gomez vs Sabrina Wells If looks could kill, the stare of Concepción Gomez would have won her the match before it had even started. Sabrina Wells with Ruby Reece in her corner try all the mind games they have in their locker to throw off the Mexican grappler but it’s clear that Gomez is laser focused on advancing to the next round. The match starts with Wells trying to chain-wrestle Gomez and that is a strategy she quickly abandons. Wells actually starts to take control when she speeds the tempo up, the tag-team specialist a very strong wrestler in her own rights. A back and forth match comes to a painfully abrupt end when Concepción Gomez locks in a Kimura Lock and earns a quick submission victory. Winner: Concepción Gomez Time: 13:15 Match Rating: 37 Show rating: 38 Attendance: 80 (8,674 viewers)

  18. AAA Wrestle Queendom #2 Preview Feedback for the first weekly product from AAA was mostly positive and the company will be hoping to build on that in the second show. The World Title tournament continues to advance as a very unhappy Sabrina Wells gets to face off against legendary Mexican wrestler Concepción Gomez for a place in the final four. Ashley Keith & La Hija Del Phoenix will team up tonight ahead of their round of 8 match next week. Elsewhere plucky rookie Sarah Riolli will be hoping for a change of fortune but it won’t be an easy task as she takes on Jessie Pulver who makes her debut in the opening match. Fans are also speculating about the creepy vignettes we’ve been seeing, when will we see who is behind them? Quick Picks Jessie Pulver vs Sarah Riolli Ashley Keith & La Hija De Phoenix vs Millie Morgan & Chris Camelot AAA World Championship Tournament: Concepción Gomez vs Sabrina Wells
  19. AAA Wrestle Queendom Quick Results #1 Marie Sigil def Esperanza Montero Piper Hale def Bonnie Williams Devil's Daughter def Talia Neema Prediction Results Historian 3/3 The Heel 3/3 KyTeran 3/3 CQI13 3/3 Herrbear 2/3 Thanks as always for all the predictions guys DESTROYER ML is in the women's revolution mod under the name MaLady, think she has a fantastic look. Sadly she got hurt working for a different promotion so we won't be seeing her in this diary for at least the forseeable future. But I'm pretty spoilt for talent so not complaining! AAA in the data start with a decent amount of money so I don't expect it to be a problem. Honestly the financial side of it doesn't interest me at all, so there won't be much reference to it
  20. AAA Wrestle Queendom #1 The show opens with Sara Stardust in the ring. The 20 y/o has a championship belt over her shoulder, she remarks that unlike her grandmother she won’t ever be holding this belt as champion, but she is excited to hand it to it’s rightful winner at the end of the 8 woman invitational. The segment ends with Sara placing the belt in a case by ringside, ready to watch the women who are going to do battle for the honour of claiming it. Rating: 30 VS Esperanza Montero vs Marie Sigil A late replacement, the Mexican rookie Montero was eager to make a strong first impression against the slightly more experienced Marie Sigil. A good back and forth match between two exciting fast rookies. Sigil showed off her impressive athleticism during this match and was able to pick up the win. Winner: Marie Sigil Time: 11:47 Rating: 26 Backstage interviewer DeAnna Desire has the unenviable task of having to interview a very irate Ruby Reece and in particular, Sabrina Wells. Wells is particularly unhappy with AAA management who “stupidly” referred to her as Sara during promotional graphics for the Out of The Darkness event (author note: oops!) and both had very scathing comments about the fans. Reece pointed out that unlike the fans they stayed loyal to the company and essentially blamed the fans for the company closing the first time. Rating:40 VS Piper Hale vs Bonnie Williams Piper Hale has been vocal to everybody that listens about how she would’ve won her match at OoTD had it not been for the loud Aussie she found herself in the ring with. The mood was tense as Hale went on the offence early, the two brawlers certainly were not pulling any punches and it was a much more hard-hitting match than the faster paced opener. It was tough to work out which way the match was going, until Hale quickly rolled up her opponents and grabbed the tights to steal a 3 count! Winner: Piper Hale Time:11:34 Rating: 35 The cameras return to the creepy looking building that we saw at OoTD. Again there is a single light on a top floor window of the building. We get to see most of the grounds of the gated area, it all looks very untouched for a long time. Finally we get to see the sign at the front of the main building and we learn exactly what the building is. “ASYLUM” is displayed prominently. The signal fades to black. Rating: 35 Christy Higgins is sat at her home in the Great Lakes, her arm notably in a sling. She thanks the fans for all their support and promises to be back as soon as her shoulder heals and she is cleared to wrestle. She is incredibly disappointed to miss the tournament but promises that whoever wins, she’ll be ready to challenge them. Higgins also tells Amerson that they’re business is far from concluded. Rating: 42 VS Devil’s Daughter vs Talia Neema Devil’s Daughter showed a meanstreak at OoTD that hasn’t been seen by the AAA fans in a while and it’s clear that they are responding to it. Unfortunately for Talia Neema this translated into a world of hurt. The young Egyptian born wrestler showed the promise that got her scouted by Stardust but she was definitely up against it. DD secured an expected win after about 15 minutes. She is the first wrestler to book her place in the final 4 of the tournament for the new belt. Winner: Devil’s Daughter Time: 15:08 Rating:33 Show rating: 39 Attendance: 76 (4000 viewers)
  21. AAA Wrestle Queendom #1 Preview After their impressive return show, AAA are looking to capitalise on the momentum they built. Sara has announced an 8 woman invitational tournament to crown the first AAA World Champion of the new era. Sara claims to have scoured the globe to find 8 women deserving of a place in the bracket. Whilst we don’t know the full line-up, our first matchup will be Devil’s Daughter vs the relatively unknown Talia Neema. Devil’s Daughter will be looking to keep up her momentum from her victory at Out Of The Darkness. Elsewhere on the show, Sabrina Wells and Ruby Reece have some grievances to air with AAA and it’s fans. Piper Hale will face Bonnie Williams to deal with their issues. The opening match will see rookie DESTROYER ML take on Marie Sigil. Quick Picks DESTROYER ML vs Marie Sigil Piper Hale vs Bonnie Williams AAA World Championship Tournament Round 1: Devil’s Daughter vs Talia Neema [Author notes: going to experiment with weekly shows. I want them to be easier to make and easier to read than long events, so we’re going to try an hour show to start. This works well with the small roster I have as well.]
  22. AAA Out Of The Darkness – Quick Results La Hija De Phoenix def Bonnie Williams & Piper Hale Ashley Keith def Spider Isako Devil’s Daughter def Sarah Rioli Debbie Rose & Kate Lilly def Torment & Sorrow, Millie Morgan & Chris Camelot and Ruby Reece & Sabrina Wells (New Tag Team Champions) Chris Amerson def Christy Higgins Prediction Results: Historian 5/5 – get out of my head! KyTeran 4/5 – Never bet against the bully HerrBear 3/5 – Only person to go against your new tag team champions TheHeel 3/5 – Seriously, back the Bully! Thanks again for everybody who predicted, I've really enjoyed the early interaction on this. I've been giving a lot of thought to reader engagement and in future prediction contests will definitely have some stakes! This is something I've given some thought to as well, I want to keep the shows clearer and I think some of the magic is lost if I start talking about booking rather than presenting it as a show But Sara will definitely have plenty of involvement, she has a company to run after all!
  23. AAA Out Of The Darkness Our show opens with the third generation Stardust standing in the ring, the crowd is much smaller than this once great promotion had previously been accustomed, but the noise inside the building is still loud. Sara thanks them for their support and promises one hell of a show. She then turns her attention to the wrestlers in the back and reiterates her promise that if you want to work, this is the place for you. Sara Stardust then goes on to announce that starting next month, AAA will be running weekly TV shows airing on this network. Stardust has never been in front of a live crowd before and it shows. Rating: 20 VS VS Triple Threat: Bonnie Williams vs La Hija de Phoenix vs Piper Hale If AAA wanted to send a message that this is a new era or that they meant every word about rewriting what it means to wrestle for AAA, then sending out Bonnie Williams first was the perfect way to show it. The Aussie brawler was loud and crass from the start, which seemed to annoy Hale and more than anything confuse La Hija De Phoenix. The match was wrestled at a feverish pace and whilst both the brawls enjoyed spells of control, ultimately the quality that has led to Phoenix being one of the most talked about young wrestlers in Mexico showed and after an impressive splash, the Luchadora took home the win. Winner: La Hija De Phoenix Time: 13:05 Rating: 36 Post match- After the match, Piper Hale exchanges words with Williams, clearly feeling that she cost her the match. After Hale left the ring, Williams shrugs as if to say “fair play” to Phoenix and raises her hand. The Aussie then offers to share a beer with the masked wrestler, but that offer is politely declined. Rating: 30 VS Battle of the Wunderkinds: Ashley Keith vs Spider Isako AAA have been really open and upfront about the fact that it takes time to develop stars but based on the reaction for Ashley Keith, it might not take that long at all. The small crowd were massively behind Sam Keith’s niece as she took on one of Japan’s brightest young talents in Spider Isako. As many predicted, the match dubbed “the battle of the wunderkinds” was a really enjoyable spectacle to watch with the styles of the two young stars meshing well. It’s fair to say that most of the crowd had no idea who Spider Isako was before the match, but after a couple of very near falls against the fan favourite Keith, they certainly do now. The match came to an abrupt end when Keith was able to pay homage to her uncle and lock in the Proton Lock for the win. Winner: Ashley Keith Time: 9:36 Rating: 38 VS Devil’s Daughter Street Fight Open Challenge: Devil’s Daughter vs Sarah Rioli To step into the ring with the Devil’s Daughter takes a certain level of bravery, to step into the ring with the Devil’s Daughter in a street fight takes a whole lot more. The open challenge was answered by the unknown Aussie native Sarah Rioli. Rioli showed just how brave she is when she went right after the veteran, but the experience difference quickly told. Sarah is a mere 2 years into her in ring career and being up against somebody who has been wrestling as long as Rioli has been alive meant that she was always going to be up against it. DD used all of her experience to dominate the match, constantly interrupting any flow that the far younger wrestler tried to get into and when she did start to lose control, DD was quick to pull a weapon into the ring to consolidate her dominance. After a particularly brutal series of strikes, DD put the match to rest when she put Rioli through a table Winner: Devil’s Daughter Time: 14:11 Rating: 38 VS VS VS AAA World Tag Team Championships: ‘Torment & Sorrow’ Maki Yoshifumi & Yu Hashimoto vs Millie Morgan & Chris Camelot vs Ruby Reece & Sabrina Wells vs Debbie Rose & Kate Lilly There is an absolutely massive homecoming welcome for Debbie Rose & Kate Lilly making their return to AAA. The crowd are also clearly excited to see Maki Yoshifumi & Yu Hashimoto, some throwing streamers for the Japanese wrestlers. Interestingly, the only team that don’t receive a positive reaction are Ruby Reece & Sara Wells, despite also being former AAA tag champions and they are visibly shocked by it. This four-way tag match is wrestled at a chaotic pace, it’s an exciting international showcase with contrasting styles that mesh well. The legendary team of Debbie Rose & Kate Lilly are able to secure the win. Winner: Kate Lilly Time: 14:39 Rating: 42 Post match – The crowd are jubilant for Rose and Lilly, tag champs for the first time in 4 years! The legendary Anne Stardust appears to a massive welcome, she presents the team with their new tag belts before hugging both wrestlers and leaving them to celebrate. Debbie Rose & Kate Lilly drink in the reaction of the crowd before making their way to the back. Rating: 34 .... .... .... After a quick promotional video for the new weekly show, the picture goes dark. It comes back at an old building. The building is dark and it is very difficult to tell what exactly we’re looking at, but it’s a large building surrounded by high walls and a gate. The gate is heavily padlocked, and the walls have barbwire wrapped along the top. The building looks deserted, but nothing is getting in or out. As the camera pulls back, the building looks lifeless. Nothing definable can be seen until suddenly one feint light flickers on in a window on the top floor. Rating: 41 VS ‘AAAn Original’ Christy Higgins vs ‘The Bully’ Chris Amerson Wrestlers can go their whole career without ever being able to cultivate a ‘big fight feel’ but Chris Amerson has already achieved that in her very first wrestling match. The MMA Fighter turned wrestler has an aura around her immediately as she walks to the ring. Christy Higgins make an early mistake assuming that ‘The Bully’ would recgonise the rules of respect that AAA was built on. Higgins offers a handshake but is instead caught with a forearm which very much sets the tone of the match. Amerson dominates the early proceedings but to her credit, Higgins is never one to give up. The match goes back and forth until Amerson drives Higgins into the turnbuckle. The ref wants to check Higgins shoulder but before she can Amerson locks in a viscous armbars and screaming fills the arena. Higgins has no choice but to tap. Winner: Chris Amerson Time: 14:35 Rating: 59 Post match - Higgins recieves medical treatment as she holds her lifeless shoulders. Members of staff are quick to get between her and Amerson as 'The Bully' smiles at her injured opponent before making an exit as the crowd boo her.
