As a personal preference, I like to go for fewer shows, often just 8 or so in the first year and let the sponsor money fill up my account when it runs low. It's a far, far slower approach but I also like to get a few years into the game to let the game world evolve a bit and see some of the regens and new workers that I don't often get to play with when I'm running a lot of shows. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I usually do bi-monthly shows until I profit in a 'show month', at which point I move to monthlies. How high is it possible to go with the 'Apu Method', allowing for a reduction in shows to recover debt? IIRC, the region I'm running shows in has around 85 importance with a B- and rising industry

(that's from memory, I'm using grades to do the full thing)?

Thanks for your advice.

 2. I'm in month 6 and also haemorrhaging money, but my aim is to use the year's grace period for new companies to build up overness. I run all of the shows in the same location.
 3. The standard thing for male wrestlers is a pay dispute or similar argument. Promoters in TEW are basically Ian Rotten but sleazier.
 4.
Yes and yes. Good luck!

Does anybody have any idea how to get to Regional quickly? I've been running two shows a week in the Great Lakes since early Jan with a C and rising industry (now up to C+), and I'm not even halfway there. I have heard stories of people grinding to near Cult in 6 months, so may try adding a 3rd show.

Johnny Martin and Vengeance were also poached shortly after by HGC too.

Not really going to go into detail but Scout and Guide just debuted and they have bad chemistry together, makes me really sad.

If you really want to run with the Wave, get them to 50 experience to cancel out the bonuses by putting them on the pre-show.

 6. AFAIK, importance is mostly determined by popularity at lower levels, but for higher companies it also takes into account the actual region’s importance in the wrestling world. For example, in the default C-Verse Tri State is 100 and Mid South is about 80-85, so a National company with the same popularity in both regions would, I think, have higher importance in the Tri State region.
 7.
Thanks to all for the advice, you've made some great points. I'll probably stay with C-Verse diaries, but what really resonated was picking a concept that I enjoy. I can imagine that helping a lot.

Re drawing the reader in, my next post was going to be a teased Big Smack Scott world title push (that I would actually have done), so if that hadn't worked, I don't think any of my other ideas would have. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Is there any way to display pictures without registering with a 3rd-party site, e.g. Imgur?

Once again, thank you.

But since I can't check yet, I thought I would ask. Started a save with Burning Hammer of the Wrestling Gods and switched it back to a touring schedule. First tour is in February. Tour shows are not broadcast, but I wonder if there is the option to pick a broadcaster? If you set up a weekly event for a non-touring promotion (roughly simulating a house show), the game treats it as a PPV-like event and you get the choice of broadcasters. But I have a feeling a touring promotion makes those events a bit different....?

I was toying with opening up a broadcaster for Burning Hammer, giving them coverage in some regions outside of Japan. If its possible to broadcast tour events on that, it would help growth in regions like the US but have a feeling its not an option. Anyone?

If you go to negotiate with broadcasters, there is a 'Tour Highlights' option.

 9.
Does anyone have any tips on developing an audience for a diary? In my first failed attempt, there was one commenter after a week. Should I post shows anyway and wait for people?

I didn't realise that this thread existed, which might have helped.

 10.
This is from a while back: Supreme Challenge 36 and the most disappointing TEW experience I've ever had.

Semi-main between Remo, Wolf Hawkins and Joey Morgan gets an out of the blue 96, the highest rating I've had up to that point. Then comes the ME. Jack Bruce vs heel Rocky Golden in a Once In A Lifetime. Entrances are 90 rated. When the match comes...

...they pull a 78.

After the show, I find out that the participants in the biggest match I've ever booked have awful chemistry, and that Jack Bruce is on painkillers from a broken arm a few months prior as well as being a decade into time decline. He gets dropped as figurehead, and I think that's the last big match he'll ever have.

Cut to January '17. Joey and Wolf have continued feuding, and Joey has finally realised his dream and become champion. They're pulling 99s everywhere, and I'm all set to carry the SWF into the future with Morgan at the helm.

Then he tears his meniscus and is out for 6-7 months after a successful surgery without even defending the belt.

I almost want to laugh.

(Following this, Wolf got my first ever 100 rated match and Joey is set to beat Tommy Cornell in the final of a 64-man Rip Chord Invitational, so the joke's on all of you.)

SWF and USPW are also up there and I could tell epic stories of each.

Please do!

How do you find such a game? The last time a save really clicked for me was an SWF game I had, in which I have only just realised KC Glenn can't crack the upper midcard due to product restrictions. There's a reasonable chance of me getting one with a '16 BCG game, but I haven't tried yet.

I was thinking of giving them a weekly live event or TV show, running in Europe, and moving basically the guys who aren't doing anything on the shows at the moment to there.

Haven't used the split option before so unsure if I'm misunderstanding it's use.

That sounds like a good idea, but you can't afford to mess it up. Use your most popular Euro guys plus some young talent that aren't on regularly, and don't run too many shows when starting off.

On an unrelated note, does anyone have any tips re save stagnation? I have a ridiculous amount of active games going, but new ideas always seem to get swamped or never get off the ground, and I lose enthusiasm for the old ones. Any help would be appreciated.

 15. I can't post a screenshot, but CV77 is (almost) perfect. In a watcher game, Sam Strong vs Rip Chord was named 1981's Match of the Year... in TWL.
 16. Thanks! I'm running it in CV77, trying to keep a long-term save for once.
 17. Is it possible (or feasible) to hit Cult+ in Australia with such low regional importance?
 18. Does anyone possess any graphics (belts, events etc) for the Southern Hemisphere Wrestling promotion? This isn't a request, I'm just wondering. Thanks in advance.
