  1. Version 1.02 has been released. Aside from fixing some mistakes, the primary addition was a promotion called Honky Tonk Yard, based in Memphis, Tennessee, along with it's roster and belts. Honky Tonk Yard Memphis, Tennessee Opened by local record label owner Arthur Goodridge for his grandson, Honky Tonk Yard is a unique backyard wrestling company. A mix of old school southern rasslin' and honky tonk, HTY offers an interesting experience to it's audience. Holding shows with a ring set up on a small stage in a field outside of Memphis, HTY fills a little niche in the backyard wrestling industry. With Honky Tonk Hero as the face of the company, HTY does good business and possibly could work as an actual wrestling company. Roster Acolyte (Mr. Mick) Alan Calm Arthur Goodridge (Owner) (Commentator) Dan Adams (Referee) Fire Phoenix Honky Tonk Hero Johnny Cool Mercy Michaels Occult (Hipster Harry) Tennessee The New Age Guru Of Mayhem Tony Star (Booker) (Manager) Teams include Cool & Calm, comprised of Alan Calm and Johnny Cool, and The Prophecy, consisting of Acolyte and Occult. The Prophecy is part of a stable with The New Age Guru Of Mayhem called Prophecy Of Doom. HTY Country Championship: Honky Tonk Hero (Since November 2006) (3) HTY Backwoods Championship: Occult (since August 2006) HTY Tag Team Championship: The Prophecy (since October 2006) The product is called Country Fried Rasslin', with Traditional being at key feature, realism being set at heavy, and mainstream being set at medium. HTY starts off with $10,000. The premier event of the company HTY The Y'all Brawl, held on the third Friday of every September. All of HTY's events are held at a place known as the Grand Ole Yard, which isn't actually a yard. It's a large field outside of Memphis with a small stage set up there. A ring is in the middle of the stage, and 500 chairs are placed in rows in front of the stage.
  2. I usually try and change the COTT overtime to be more like the NWA. I add companies overseas and add titles. Usually I'll bring in AAA and FCW first and add a womens title. Also, I try hosting interpromotional events, which is currently a bit of a nuisance since I can't host actual alliance events and I have to spend a bit more money and use up my borrowing limit for alliance loans and working agreements. I don't always play in Japan or with MJM, but I like to use it for working agreements on certain shows with certain workers.

At the moment, the number is 2378, with 1617 being active wrestlers. I don't remember how many wrestlers have been added already, though more are being added. There will certainly be plenty of wrestlers to use.</p>

Featuring two teams who are well known to Indie fans, the Dynamite Express are 5 time Mid Atlantic Tag Team Champions and call MAW their home, while The Ring Generals are 6 time NYCW Tag Team Champions.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> The first match between them took place in July 2016 at The Sam Keith Classic VI. Starting on opposite sides of the tournament, Dynamite Express beat The Heartbreak Express followed by Notorious to make it to the finals. The Ring Generals defeated Dos Phoenix first, followed by DeMarcus & Gray in the semi-finals. The two teams met in the finals, with the contest being a hardfought back and forth contest. In the end, Syd Collier attempted a Texas Cloverleaf on Marv Statler, only for Statler to kick him away and perform a Backdrop Backbreaker to win the match and tournament. The match soon gained both teams and MAW fans, and was talked about on the internet for a month.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> In August 2016, the COTT announced that The Ring Generals would defend their COTT World Tag Team Championship against the winner of a tag match in CZCW between The Dynamite Express and The Wild Cats. The Dynamite Express won the match and the title match was set for September in NYCW. The Ring Generals started out with heavy offense, but at one point, Cameron Jones managed to reverse Marv Statler's Backdrop Backbreaker. He hit a Fisherman's Suplex to win the match and the pair won their first COTT World Tag Team Championships.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> With both teams having lost on their home turf and equaled at one win a piece between them, fans were hungry for one more match to equal the score. With the internet still raving of their pair of matches, it was a surprise to many when 7 months later in May 2017, The Ring Generals declared nobody in NYCW could beat them for the NYCW Tag Team Championships, as they'd held them for 13 months. Suddenly, The Dynamite Express entered, and made the challenge for a title match. The Ring Generals accepted, on the condition that it would be a 2 out of 3 falls match with no rules.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> The match opened up with Syd Collier taking on Dean Waldorf. Waldorf gained the upper hand after he put Collier through a table at ringside, though Collier kicked out at 2. Poking Waldorf in the eye, Collier used the time to tag in his partner Cameron Jones, and Jones quickly ran towards Waldorf looking for a bit hit, but Waldorf surprised him by hitting a Waldorf Salad Toss for a pin. Waldorf then controlled the match, but soon tagged in Marv Statler. Statler went to hit a clothesline on Jones, but Jones ducked and knocked over Statler. He tagged in Collier, who jumped in with a burst of adrenaline. Collier threw Statler out of the ring and cinched in a Texas Cloveleaf. Statler resisted, but eventually had to tap out, evening the score. Collier stood over Statler and taunted him, but Statler low-blowed him and ran to tag in Dean Waldorf. Waldorf pummeled Collier, but he made the mistake of getting Collier into his own corner. Cameron Jones tagged himself in, and dodged a punch from Waldorf, proceeding to respond with a punch of his own. After some back and forth competition, Jones hit a big boot followed by performing his finishing move, the Fisherman's Suplex, twice. Waldorf couldn't kick out, ending the match, his team's title reign, and the trilogy. With The Dynamite Express winning the series of bouts 2-1, The Ring Generals admitted defeat and went to shake the hands of their competitors. As the New York crowd booed The Dynamite Express and shouted insults, the duo attacked The Ring Generals and beat them down.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> Since then, the two haven't interacted, despite both teams working in NYCW and UKCW. The pair of duos are still lauded for their abilities, and major companies are watching them, though both are rumored to have turned down some offers to work on the indie scene for the time being.</span></p></div><p></p><p></p>
  5. <p>With the RecklessVerse finished and released, it's now time to focus on CV2020: New Legacies. CreeperGav is also helping with this mod, so it shouldn't take very long to be released. Though a release date can't be estimated at this time, the goal is to release it before TEW 2020 is released, then convert it to TEW 2020 upon the game's release. This will allow people to play this scenario while they wait for TEW 2020, and people who can't get the game can play this mod. Anyone who perhaps wants something different from the official canon shown in TEW 2020 could also play this. </p><p> </p><p> Posts will be continuing from this point on until release. They will not be an everyday occurrence. Once the mod is released, a separate thread will be made.</p><p> </p><p> We can't wait until you are able to book Jack Bruce vs Spencer Spade, The Great Gauge in BHOTWG, Lords of the Ring in TCW, DeColts vs Stones in NOTBPW, and so on. Until then, there's plenty of content to read here, which will give you a good idea of what to expect in the mod.</p>
  6. Version 1.01 has been released. It adds movesets to a handful of people who previously didn't have them and fixes some picture mistakes and a grammar mistake in a bio. A relationship was also added while another was edited. Characters can be submitted and will be added in future updates. Sometime soon I intend to release another update adding a company and more workers.
  7. RecklessVerse With DAVE on the brink of death, backyard wrestling is more popular than ever. Young high schoolers and aspiring wrestlers are creating promotions in their backyard to fill the gap, and Xtreme Danger Wrestling sits atop that mountain. XDW helped popularize backyard wrestling, with it's five stars being the most popular yardies in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, XDW might be closed by the end of the year, so it seems like another promotion will have to take their spot soon. The time has come to finally release The RecklessVerse. Starting in January 2007, the mod currently features 7 companies and 101 workers, with 84 of them being active wrestlers who have already debuted. There is also a user character called The Yardie. Pictures have been sourced from various locations. Most worker renders come from free pictures. smw88 has contributed a number of renders for belts and companies, with more incoming. This mod will continue to be updated overtime, even after TEW 2020 is released. If TEW 2020 accommodates local sized companies fairly well, then the mod will be converted sometime after the release of the game. Primary contributions have come from CreeperGav, who is responsible for the creation of a large number of workers appearing in the mod, while also working on his own mod at the same time. Data & Pictures (Version 1.05): http://www.mediafire.com/file/9ct2fzc6r8o0o36/RecklessVerse_Pictures_%2526_Data.zip/file Character Submission Name: Render: (Not Needed) Bio: Birth/Debut: Gender: Sexuality: Relationship: Race: Nationality: Based In: (Must Be A USA Region) Style: Size: Minimum/Maximum Size: Moveset: Face/Heel Gimmick: Personality: (Use Templates) For skills, a worker's in-ring skills can't go above C-, since they're backyard wrestlers. Performance skills shouldn't go above a D+. Respect and reputation should be for backyard accomplishments. For example, Xavier Reckless has 23% respect and 85% reputation. Brawling: Puroresu: Hardcore: Chain Wrestling: Mat Work: Submissions: Aerial: Flashiness: Basics: Psychology: Safety: Consistency: Selling: Athleticism: Power: Stamina: Toughness: Resilience: Microphone: Charisma: Acting: Star Quality: Sex Appeal: Menace: Announcing: Colour: Refereeing: Respect: Reputation: For popularity, a workers don't have much popularity except in one region. Their popularity in the rest of the country depends on how popular they're getting from tape trading. As an example, Xavier Reckless is the most popular worker in the database, and has 15% in all USA regions (except Puerto Rico and Hawaii), and 23% in the southwest. Someone like Austin Hill has 4% in the rest of the country, and 8% in the southwest. Great Lakes: Mid Atlantic: Mid South: Mid West: New England: North West: North East: South East: South West: Tri State:
  8. The mod will be released today at 5PM EST. It will be continually updated, and if TEW2020 can accommodate these local sized companies, it will be converted sometime after the game's release. Updates will continue to happen, and the game will be expanded overtime.
  9. <p>The mod is finished. I'm going to now go through a testing period, where the mod will be released in a small group to get feedback, identify bugs, fix any issues, etc. The official release date is now November 25, 2019. </p><p> </p><p> A separate thread will be made upon release, as the mod will likely receive a TEW 2020 version.</p>
  10. I wonder if in this scenario a situation similar to Jinder Mahal's WWE Title reign would occur. The major American promotions realize India is a growing market, so they try to appeal to the people there. Perhaps USPW hires Kashmir Singh and makes him their world champion. SWF might go on a scouting expedition, find a guy in India, and rush him through the training school and he skips RIPW, going straight to the main roster and gets a big push right away, going after the world title. However, his rush to the top is clear, as his skills are mostly poor, though he is decent at promos and looks like an Indian god. All of this results in a time of poor booking in both companies, similar to real life with WWE's poor booking. TCW takes advantage, positioning themselves perfectly and stealing frustrated fans away from SWF and USPW. They also steal a few unhappy workers. Other companies decide to push themselves in order to benefit from this. MAW begins airing their shows on the CVerse equivalent of YouTube. They and the COTT are presenting their old school style of wrestling, similar to the NWA with their weekly Power show. CZCW also shows their high flying product, and might even bring back women's wrestling. They might even be inter-gender. Either way, they're rising. I wouldn't be surprised to see BHOTWG expanding into America, similar to NJPW. 21CW might use Tommy Cornell's appeal to further expand into America. Meanwhile in India, I think this could result in local wrestling being not quite so popular. There might be 2-4 local/small promotions throughout the country. 2 could be warring promotions using a sports entertainment style similar to SWF and USPW. Those would probably be the most popular companies in the country. Another promotion might be using a realistic style of wrestling, similar to King's Road or Strong Style. The final promotion could be using a unique product styled to India. It could be an underdog with the tools to rise.
  11. Plus Africa would be kinda dead. I get that this is the CVerse and not the real world, but even filling Africa with promotions in a fake world would be to unrealistic to me.

They don't have a lot of figurehead worthy heavyweights, aside from Kikkawa, who is on the verge of retirement. The ones who could be potential figureheads such as Matthew Keith or Takimura are still young and not ready for it yet. I think they'll put more focus on their junior heavyweight division and might raid companies like WLW and EXODUS 2010 to bulk it up.</p>

Then you have guys like Shawn Michaels, Christopher Daniels, Chris Jericho. I think with the new attributes system there could be an attribute for over 40 year olds that aren't hindered by time decline as harshly. <p> </p><p> But I think 60 is far too old for them to be giving MoTY candidates. The undisputed #2 in the backyard wrestling scene, ICW might not be able to take XDW's spot on top if they can't capture audience's imaginations outside of New York.</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">SoCal Elite</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-size:12px;">Hailing from southern California, SoCal Elite is a stable that consists of the dancer Ali X, the gangster Lil' Curtis, and the rapper Pot Lucky. Debuting in backyard wrestling in 2003 on XDW's roster, the trio were a hit with the fans, but never won a title in the company. After a dispute backstage with the three accusing Xavier Reckless of favoring himself and his friends, SoCal Elite left California in December 2006 and traveled to New York to work for XDW's rivals, ICW. They're set to debut at the start of 2007. Many people don't know that behind the scenes, 20 year old Lil' Curtis is the legal guardian of his 16 year old partners. The two don't know who their parents are, and Curtis is the legal guardian of both of them. This has made the trio close, and might help them once they make it into the world of pro wrestling.</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Brimstone</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-size:12px;">Mysterious, crazy, and downright terrifying, Brimstone is the hooded yardie who is known for his work in ICW. Debuting on their first show, he soon made an impact as the baddest guy on the roster. Willing to peform crazy high-flying dives and take crazy bumps, Brimstone set himself apart in a unique way and is a hit with tape traders. He won the first King Of The Clowns tournament in 2004, and won the Clown King Championship from Big Bone two months later. Undefeated in the company, Brimstone is rumored to have some pro wrestling companies such as DAVE monitoring his progress. Unfortunately for him, he might need to learn how to not injure his opponents, as he recently injured Black Knight and nearly injured Big bone in their first match.</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> The next post will be on October 14, 2019.</p>

While they've gained their own cult following, all of their fans are fans of CMCK, who are the only reason they're attending the shows. Outside of the company, the two are known as The Molina Brothers. The two are 17 and 19 years old respectively, and have been wrestling fans for their entire lives. Debuting in January 2004 for CCW as The Assassins, Raul is Assassin #1 and Rico is Assassin #2. A fair enough team, the two are the current CCW Duos Champions. Despite being the eldest and the more talented of the two, Rico isn't considered the more popular brother. There are rumors Rico might end his wrestling career soon, but as of now, the two continue to work for CCW.</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Dennis Crumpton</span></strong></p><p> <span style="font-size:12px;">Referee Dennis Crumpton is the 19 year old unbiased official for CCW. Starting his career out in XDW, Azul wasn't liked by the crowd there despite having a lot of lovable traits. Azul left XDW in July 2004 in a mutual agreement, and quickly went to work for CCW. The crowd responded well to him, and he's now the company's best rising babyface. As the new year begins, Azul looks to finally get a title reign in backyard wrestling.</span></p><p> <strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Tiger Boy</span></strong></p><p> <span style="font-size:12px;">"The Tiger Of The Beach" Tiger Boy is a young luchador working for CCW. When CCW opened, he was the first person to get work there, and has been a crowd favorite since day one. The current CCW Daredevil Champion looks to make his debut in pro wrestling when he's 18, but for now will continue wowing crowds for CCW.</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> The next post will be on October 8, 2019.</p>

Seeing the success XDW was having, Aviation tried getting onto the roster, but Xavier Reckless didn't need anyone else at the time. Determined, he opened CCW and based it off of his favorite company: CZCW. So far, the company has done decently well, but some think Aviation is a poor owner, as he's driven to good talents away from the company. Despite this, Aviation continues to run CCW, and is the primary heel of the company.</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">The American Cobras</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-size:12px;">James Malloy and Jake Spillane, better known as Marvel Malloy and Storm Spillane, are two Floridians and best friends. Meeting in pre-school when Spillane dived onto Malloy from the small slide into the nearby sandbox, the two have been inseparable ever since. They would found Florida Fighting Pro in December 2002, 3 months before XDW was born. FFP would be simply a mostly locally known backyard fed, and the two focused the company on tag wrestling, where they formed their team "The American Cobras". In January 2004, Malloy's family had a job opportunity In California. Refusing to be left behind in Florida, Spillane traveled with them and now lives alongside Malloy. 25. Dangerous DJ "The One Man Disco Party" Dangerous DJ is an 18 year old yardie currently working for XDW. Debuting in January 2004 with CCW, DJ would become a main eventer for the company, and had a good reign with the CCW Coastal Championship. However, in March 2006 he had a dispute with company owner and booker Aviation, and when Xavier Reckless heard he quickly brought DJ to XDW. Since then XDW have been grooming him overtime, and look to potentially make him a main eventer, though his in-ring skills aren't quite good enough for that. Mr. Reckless The father of Xavier Reckless, Mr. Reckless is the road agent and referee for his son's company, XDW. Reckless himself is a retired wrestler, wrestling under the name Reckless Danger, his career spanned from 1977 to 2001. Though he never achieved much, he was used a few times by TWL and DAVE as enhancement talent. Using his money to fund XDW, Mr. Reckless seems to be proud of his son, and might take over the company to keep it running once his son goes pro. The Surfer Twins Jake James and Stan James are actual twins who wrestle as a team called Surf's Up. Lifelong fans of wrestling, the duo love CZCW and the second Xavier Reckless opened XDW, they joined. They've since become two time XDW Tag Team Champions, and both have one reign with the XDW Aerial Assault Championship. There's word that they want to join CZCW once they turn 18, but CCW is looking to hire them and officially start the war with XDW. Valerie Capes The most popular teen girl in backyard wrestling, 16 year old Valerie Capes is the girlfriend and manager of Austin Hill. Though she knows nothing about wrestling, Hill convinced her to be his manager, and the two are seen together at every show. As of now, there are five companies. The rosters are being filled overtime. The companies are listed in order of their place in the company wars tab: 1. Xtreme Danger Wrestling 2. Insane Clown Wrestling 3. Championship Wrestling League 4. Coastal Championship Wrestling 5. Florida Fighting Pro I look to make two more promotions, and potentially expand the number as time goes on. Suggestions will be accepted. Next post will be on September 20, 2019.
