  1. I love it! I can see the MXM centerpiece part of the logo easily being the watermark of the TV show and the feature of the title belts (though I'm sure whatever you come up with will be great regardless). Thanks a million, can't wait to see the belts!
  2. p { margin:0; padding:0; line-height: 1.5em; } PRESENTED IN AS COMPLETE A FORM AS POSSIBLE BY WRESTLEWORLD DANGER AND VIOLENCE EXTREME PRESENTS DANGER ZONE TV FROM THE DANGER ZONE IN PITTSBURGH! FRIDAY, JANUARY WEEK FOUR, 1997 As has become customary, The Extreme Agency open the show with Phil Vibert and Nemesis entering The Danger Zone to a chorus of boos. Mitch Naess welcomes us to Danger Zone TV, and mentions that Vibert and Nemesis are in foul moods tonight because they were informed before the show that Johnny Martin would be invoking his rematch clause for the DAVE Extreme Championship. "You know, even though I run the show around here, things keep happening without my say so, and I'm getting a little sick of it. All you marks thought that the three-way dance was Buddy Gaines' last stand, but it turns out his shoddy paperwork is what came back to haunt me. I mean, a rematch clause? No. This is DAVE, you always earn your way around here, you're not gifted anything by virtue of losing. Now, without any further ado, The Extreme Agency proudly presents to you unworthy marks, The Speaker of Truths... the man who brings the violence to Danger And Violence Extreme... the reigning Danger And Violence Extreme Champion... the only 'supreme' moth******er in this business... Nemesis!" The crowd roar their disapproval as Nemesis steps forward with a cocky smirk on his lips, title belt hefted over his shoulder. He holds out his hand for Vibert to give him the microphone, takes it, and tells everyone to shut up. "The truth is, you all cheer for Johnny Martin because he's a fool for you fans... you people cheer him because he foolishly puts his body on the line for your entertainment!" The champion rants for a moment before Johnny Martin's entrance music interrupts him-- Martin's music is actually professionally licensed, and adds a lot to his entrance even all these years later. The hero of DAVE makes his way to the ring with a microphone of his own and steps between the ropes before Vibert scrambles to try and warn him off. "You're out here alone, and I can have the rest of the Agency here in a snap," Vibert warns, snapping his fingers for emphasis. On cue, Officer Hardway and Frankie Future come out and flank DAVE's iconic chain link entryway, Nemesis cracking his neck confidently in the ring. "Some might say what I do is crazy... Hell, maybe I am crazy," Martin admits. "But I bleed for these people... I compete for these people... I show up for these people, and you? You and your Agency? You only serve yourselves. You line your billfolds as much as you can, and you still buy cheap suits." Mitch Naess pops on commentary, running down Vibert's lack of fashion sense as the crowd cheers on Martin. Nemesis, Vibert, and Martin go a few verbal rounds on the microphone before finally agreeing to settle things in the ring tonight, even though Vibert insists Martin doesn't deserve a rematch. The first segment ends with The Extreme Agency leaving The Danger Zone while Johnny Martin plays to the crowd from the ring, Naess pitching to a commercial break that is a vintage commercial for DAVE's February 1997 supercard, Counter Culture, with a new inlay that says the show is available now through WrestleWorld's DAVE library. THE GOOD OLE BOYS w/ MISS BLISS VS. THE HOTBODIES Mitch Naess says more than a couple of times that Freddie Datsun and Roy Stephens are, "just a couple of good ole boys," during the course of the match. The match itself is a bit of brawling mayhem that sees Roy Stephens pick up the win for his team. WINNERS: THE GOOD OLE BOYS Immediately following the match, The School of Tradition hits the ring. Eric Tyler and Vin Tanner blindside the victorious Datsun & Stephens, the despicable Tyler knocking Miss Bliss off the apron and through a table during the fracas. Soon enough, Datsun is dumped out of the ring alongside her, with Stephens isolated in the ring to take a new double team finisher that Naess calls Breaking Tradition. The School of Tradition stand tall in the ring amid the carnage, boos raining down on them while Naess sends it to commercial. A WrestleWorld ad airs, advertising the service and their low price point for a whole library of indie wrestling + access to premium live events. Travis Century is in the ring with The Darkness Warriors when we return, clever editing that doesn't disrupt the flow of the show while allowing them to leave out an unlicensed music track that served as this trio's entrance theme. Century says that the coming of The Master is close at hand, and says that The Master has demanded a tribute-- "Just like the coming of the baby Jesus, The Master demands a tribute of gold, and these, The Master's Darkness Warriors, will fetch him that tribute. Be warned, Animalz, for we fear not the beasts when we lie within The Master's great power." We're taken to Mitch Naess' announce position after that where, after a moment of showing his distaste for Travis Century and The Darkness Warriors, says that we have a debut this week. Some might know the man under different names, some might be familiar with him from other Tri-State promotions, but now he makes his home in DAVE, and that man is Chris Morrisette. CHRIS MORRISETTE VS. MICHAEL COOK This match was designed to steal the show and win the crowd over, and while the wrestling was quite good, the crowd isn't behind Michael Cook and doesn't really know Chris Morrisette yet. Still, Mitch Naess sells the match on commentary like it's the most exciting thing he's called in months-- he even says it might be the best match in the short history of Danger Zone TV. The match is bisected by a commercial break, another generic WrestleWorld ad for DAVE's library. When we return to the match, Cook has the upperhand. The crowd finally starts to be won over near the end, and the pair wrestle to a fifteen minute draw that has The Danger Zone on their feet by the finish that sees Cook outlast Morrisette's Storm Lock submission finisher for the time limit draw despite being in danger of submitting for the closing moments. The pair shake hands following the match, agreeing to run it back soon. TIME LIMIT DRAW Another mysterious promo from backstage, this time the live crowd can be heard faintly in the background as it becomes clear the strange figure is looming just behind the entrance curtain. He says that danger waits around every corner, some men are more dangerous than others, "and, I, Butcher, am more dangerous than most." He says that he will see us all soon... very soon. After another commercial break, this time an ad for PSW's upcoming show as a premium event on WrestleWorld, we come back to The Danger Zone just as "The Icon of Insanity" Henry Lee's music hits-- another professionally licensed track that really helps to capture the atmosphere of The Danger Zone. The crowd goes nuts for the first appearance of their Icon since Back In Black, but their cheers are soon cut short as Henry Lee limps out of the famous entryway with a female aide by his side-- he's wearing blackout sunglasses, and it looks like his eyes are bandaged beneath them. Mitch Naess reminds us on commentary that Genghis Rahn is responsible for this as Lee is helped into the ring and given a microphone. He draws out saying anything, looking choked up from just his body language, pulling the microphone up to his mouth several times to say something but stopping short. From out of frame, Genghis Rahn charges the ring with his kendo stick, whacking Henry Lee in the back of the head and taking him down. He poses on the middle rope for a moment with his kendo stick held high, Mitch Naess calling him every bad name the censors will let him get away with-- a fan actually tries to charge the ring and gets hit with Rahn's kendo stick for his troubles, escorted away by the familiar security guards in The Danger Zone. Rahn dismantles Lee with the kendo stick, hitting him all over as the blinded Icon of Insanity writhes on the mat. Rahn then unleashes a flurry of hits on Lee's forehead until the Icon is busted open, and Rahn smears the crimson fluid on his chest. "I will destroy all that you love... all in the name of blood!" Rahn raves to the crowd, licking some of Lee's blood off his hand. Mitch Naess calls him repugnant as the scene fades to commercial. This time WrestleWorld advertises their selection of shoot interviews, including one with The Icon of Insanity himself. DAVE EXTREME TITLE MATCH NEMESIS (C) VS. JOHNNY MARTIN This is Nemesis' first match on Danger Zone TV, and only his second match in the promotion. The two work a very smart, wild match that really gets the crowd going-- what's shown on TV is only about 2/3s of the match the live crowd in The Danger Zone got, but clever editing and well-placed commercial breaks help it keep a good pace for the viewers on WrestleWorld and on the original Central Perk TV broadcast. The finish is, predictably, a schmooze job that sees Frankie Future get involved after a ref bump and wallop Martin with his steel briefcase-- the crowd is pissed as a groggy ref counts a slow three count for Nemesis to retain. WINNER, AND STILL CHAMPION: NEMESIS Nemesis and Frankie Future begin to pick apart Johnny Martin like a pair of coyotes until the lights go out. "You know what that means!" Mitch Naess crows as, for the third week in a row, the show is closed out by the awesome entrance of Vengeance. The Avenging Angel of DAVE hits the ring and quickly clears house to save Johnny Martin from any further damage. Rather than a staredown with Nemesis, this week ends with Frankie Future failing to leave the ring with enough speed and getting snatched up by Vengeance. While Phil Vibert screams protest on the outside, Future is nailed with a Final Judgement to end the broadcast. SHOW RATING: 67 ATTENDANCE: 300 [SELLOUT]

  4. VIBERT'S VOICE PODCAST "JANUARY 1997, PT. SIX" Now that it happened twenty-five years ago, I can admit it-- I over-teased the reveal of "The Master." The Darkness Warriors had gone from serving BLZ Bubb, who was one of the hottest things about Stallings' HGC group, to being a little aimless aside from wanton destruction around The Danger Zone. The Extreme Agency was designed to be the hottest thing about DAVE from a storytelling perspective, but that didn't mean we had to be the only thing going on-- Hell, it would've been detrimental to our product to only be focusing on Nemesis. So, I created buzz with what I had, and I was good at it-- some of the internet audience actually believed that Bubb was coming back, and I leaned into that as heavily as I could in the teases. Of course, he wasn't going anywhere; Travis Century was a character I loved, and I thought he'd fit right in with our island of misfit toys theme acting as a mouthpiece for the Warriors and the Master. The crowd had quickly grown to hate Frankie Future-- he was an XFW guy at the start so that was easy heat, and he was aligned with me when he came in-- I'd almost venture to say he was more hated than John, because a portion of the audience loved Nemesis just for showing up in DAVE and speaking his truth; Nemesis was a cool heel, Frankie was that classic heel. There is always room for both, but you need classic heels and babyfaces to make wrestling work in America, no matter your product. If I can just talk a little aside, go on a tangent for a minute-- DAVE gets credit for being innovative at a time when things were stale, and I can toot my own horn and say we were, but it's not like I was reinventing the wheel. Nemesis' heel turn was a classic swerve, he was a heel the second he showed and the crowd was just too fixated on his mere presence to see it. Freddie Datsun and Miss Bliss? Classic wrestling everyman and his lady, it's just that Freddie could take those hardcore bumps and so could she. Even 411, for all his "I have all the info" gimmick, he was nothing but a classic bad ass babyface. So, I appreciate all the credit I'm given, and I humbly think I'm due a lot of it... but, again, I never reinvented the wheel in professional wrestling. Settling into television was a little challenging at first, trying to fit the whole DAVE experience into 60 minutes when we were used to running shows double or triple that time. But I think we did a good job of offering a little bit from the smorgasbord each time, to be that full brewery experience like I talked about earlier. People always ask me why I put strong matches in the middle of the card, and, again, it's just old school reasoning-- you give 'em something strong before intermission to make them come back for the second half. If you notice, all of the matches happening in the middle of the TV show were cut up by commercials at the half-hour; I didn't want anyone changing the channel to a new show coming on, I wanted them hooked, and it worked fairly well. The School of Tradition would work out well in that mid-show spot a lot of the time, but, man, Michael Cook... that kid could go, and I wanted him to get over with our audience but I had to find the right way to do it. Some guys got over because they could take a beating, others got over because they could dish one out, but some guys could just go, and that was Michael. Our crowd wanted blood, but they appreciated real wrestling at the same time, so that was his niche. Butcher, on the other hand... man, that kid could talk, and he was exactly what the audience wanted. With him, and Genghis Rahn, and Henry Lee, and some others on the horizon, the whole deathmatch aspect of wrestling was quietly coming together in DAVE, and it was about to get even bigger... p { margin:0; padding:0; line-height: 1.5em; }
  5. I had actually intended to move on from this for my DAVE dynasty because I figured the formatting of this would be wrecked in the changeover... but it actually doesn't look half bad. Allow me a few days to ponder the fate of this one, I still have the save.
  6. I realize I threw everyone a bit of a booking curveball with the not-quite-reveal of "the master" on this episode, but it's gonna be a fun ride getting to the actual reveal.
  7. PRESENTED IN AS COMPLETE A FORM AS POSSIBLE BY WRESTLEWORLD DANGER AND VIOLENCE EXTREME PRESENTS DANGER ZONE TV FROM THE DANGER ZONE IN PITTSBURGH! FRIDAY, JANUARY WEEK THREE, 1997 The Extreme Agency open the show for the second week in a row, Phil Vibert and Nemesis looking all business-- Vibert, in fact, looks down right pissed off, and he opens by stating as much. "I'm pissed off," he says as he paces around while Nemesis looks stoic with his DAVE Extreme title slung over his shoulder. "You know, when I I order something done, I expect it done... and I ordered that DAVE should be rid of Vengeance! And what happened?! There's a reason you don't see the whole Agency out here right now, and that's because I only surround myself with winners; people who get the job done, not half-assed. Future and Hardway are on notice: rid us of Vengeance, or I'll rid the agency of them! Now, without any further ado, The Extreme Agency proudly presents to you unworthy marks, The Speaker of Truths... the man who brings the violence to Danger And Violence Extreme... the reigning Danger And Violence Extreme Champion... the only 'supreme' moth******er in this business... Nemesis!" Nemesis smirks as the boos of the crowd rain down over him, and he adjusts his championship belt on his shoulder before he begins to speak. "You see, the truth is... if you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself. I can already see a clash between The Speaker of Truths and the Avenging Angel on the horizon... but, again, the truth is... I've never believed in destiny. Nothing is inevitable, and The Extreme Agency has an insurance policy that says Vengeance will never get to me." Nemesis addresses Johnny Martin, and last week's assault on Monty Walker that led to The Coolest Guy in the Room getting stretchered out of The Danger Zone. He points out that Walker wasn't on HGC TV this week, and says that, if the wrestling world is lucky, we'll never see Monty Walker again. The crowd doesn't care for that one bit, and they begin to throw some trash while booing-- Mitch Naess says on commentary that the crowd thought Nemesis would show up as their savior, but says he's nothing but a Judas. "So you can boo me, you can cheer for Vengeance every time he gets close, but it's never gonna happen... and that's the truth." WrestleWorld advertises the complete DAVE library available on their service before the show picks up again, this time with a face we've yet to see standing in the ring... A blonde man in a glamorous smoking jacket introduces himself as Enuit, and the crowd starts chanting "ES-KI-MO! ES-KI-MO!" at him, much to his annoyance; there's even a fan in the crowd with a sign that says something to the effect of "go back to your igloo." The pretentious artists rants and raves about the lack of respect he's been shown in DAVE, saying he hasn't even been booked since before Christmas. "But that all ends tonight... for I, Enuit, am issuing... an open challenge!" Before he can get another word out, the lights in the arena go out and the fans begin to stir-- some new music begins to play, a brash gangsta rap tune that is clearly edited into the audio over whatever unlicensed-for-streaming music Black really entered to, and the spotlight shines down on DAVE's famous chain link entrance. A familiar face emerges... Elijah Black enters The Danger Zone, shaking his head and pointing at the ring before getting a microphone. Black says that if anyone knows about lack of respect around here, it's him after the way he was treated last week. Respect is earned, not demanded, and that's lesson he's happy to teach tonight. ENUIT VS. ELIJAH BLACK "I'm damn near a legend in this business, and it's about time I get mine around here! Mikey, I hope you're paying attention!" he shouts, charging the ring and making short, brutal work of putting away Enuit in short, unscheduled open challenge match. Mitch Naess ponder on commentary if Murderous Mikey anticipated this version of Elijah Black when he ended their alliance last week. WINNER: ELIJAH BLACK Naess pitches to commercial, and we see a vintage advertisement for DAVE's February supercard, Counter Culture 1997. JD MORGAN VS. MICHAEL COOK Phil Vibert's trend of booking hot matches in the middle of the show continues here; despite the crowd being vocally against Morgan and starting off not that into Cook, the pair win them over with a hot wrestling affair. Cook's never say die attitude is starting to get him over with the crowd, but Morgan seems to be struggling to find his footing with Nemesis replacing him as the top heel in the company. This may be the place for him, though, as the pair have the match of the night, Morgan picking up a submission win with his Cross Atlantic Stretch. WINNER: JD MORGAN Following another commercial break advertising the DAVE library on WrestleWorld, The Darkness Warriors are out and Mitch Naess is talking about the reveal of their master. They come out in their robes but stop short of entering the ring, flanking either side of the entry way as some new music begins to play. A man in black with white preacher's collar enters The Danger Zone, a cross tattooed on his throat; Mitch Naess wonders if this the master the Warriors have been talking about for weeks. "My name, brothers and sisters, is Travis Century... and, oh, my brothers and sisters, do I come bearing news," the wild-eyed preacher begins. "The end is nigh... not the end of the world, not the coming of the Lord, but the end of the line for some of your most beloved here in The Danger Zone. You have been promised a master, my brothers and sisters, though I am but a prophet... a messenger for the true master, a task master for his acolytes," Century says as he looks down at The Darkness Warriors outside of the ring. He goes on to cut a rambling, sermon-like promo warning of a great evil descending upon DAVE, but where a preacher would usually call for those listening to repent, Century simply says, "evil will consume you all." He paces the ring for a moment, then stops and smiles, looking at The Darkness Warriors and telling them to take down their hoods. "The Master demands... a sacrifice," he says. "There are... pagans among you, send them out!" he calls. Mitch Naess wonders what Century is talking about, but, soon enough, he is dumbfounded as Philly Power Pro Wrestling's own Skinner Brothers are making their way out to the ring. "I don't know that I'd call them pagans, but... what are Philly Power's Skinner Brothers doing here in Danger And Violence Extreme?" Naess questions. Another Darkness Warriors "match" ensues, with the acolytes brawling with the Skinner Brothers while Travis Century continues delivering his "sermon" in the ring-- he mentions The Master frequently, and talks about the growing evil coming to DAVE. The finish doesn't come with a pinfall, but instead ends with The Skinner Brothers each being put through tables while Travis Century and The Darkness Warriors make their way out of The Danger Zone. Mitch Naess wonders who The Master is, and if we'll ever find out, or if this path of destruction will ever end as the camera pans the broken tables and battered bodies of Matt & Dukie Skinner. Rather than heading to commercial, we're taken to a dark area backstage where the mysterious man from last week sits reciting poetry from a book. He goes on about beauty and finding meaning in the world before closing the book. "... and, I, Butcher, find beauty in violence... I, Butcher find meaning in anger, and purpose in the suffering of others... and, believe me, the others of DAVE... will suffer." FRANKIE FUTURE VS. FREDDIE DATSUN The man event of the second edition of Danger Zone TV sees the "Insurance Policy" Frankie Future taking on the American Everyman himself, Freddie Datsun. Datsun shines in the beginning, while Future is there on his own but Phil Vibert emerges from the back to shout demanding encouragement at his insurance policy. Things stay on the up & up in the match, there's no real interference or distraction to speak of, but the mere presence of Vibert seems to make Future a different animal. He picks up the win, despite a valiant effort from Datsun. WINNER: FRANKIE FUTURE Future immediately puts the boots to Datsun after the match, Vibert yelling something about "killer instinct." Soon, Officer Hardway is involved in the beatdown as well, until, the inevitable... Vengeance arrives to clean house, saving Datsun from further injury. Nemesis emerges from the back and, for the second week in a row, the show ends with a staredown between the Speaker of Truths and the Avenging Angel. 9. p { margin:0; padding:0; line-height: 1.5em; } VIBERT'S VOICE PODCAST "JANUARY 1997, PT. FIVE" I think it was pretty clear coming out of that first TV that we were aiming to put XFW out first-- I was accused of raiding their talent roster, which, I guess, wasn't far from the truth. Geneghis Rahn, Frankie Future, and now that Butcher kid with the unique promos. The fans wanted to call it the East Coast Wars, so, I was gonna give them a war. I knew I ran the risk of garnering a relationship just like Richard Eisen if I just raided every east coast territory, so I decided to paint myself as the antihero. I wasn't robbing other territories, I was gathering soldiers for the war on SWF, for the war on mediocrity in professional wrestling. I mean, not only that, but it drew us fans from those other shows into The Danger Zone to see what we were all about. Besides, Genghis fit DAVE like a glove; he relished being hated by the crowd and, man, he could deliver a good beating. Butcher was gonna get over on his promos, easy, and Frankie was doing just fine as The Extreme Agency's Insurance Policy-- I wasn't gonna let Vengeance touch him until they had a singles match. Nemesis and Vengeance, of course,, was the real money-- but Sean wasn't quite ready to commit in the same way that other guys did, so I couldn't trust him to be at the top of the card. Call me paranoid, but I needed loyalty in exchange for my booking trust... just the way it was at the time. I got a little bit of criticism for not having Nemesis wrestle on the first TV, but he opened up the show, which I thought was better. The live crowd ate up his promo-- it was shortened to about ten seconds of beeping censorship for broadcast, but he cut a real promo there live in The Danger Zone about being an animal out of his cage and how the SWF needed to die, along with Richard Eisen. The network said it was in poor taste, and they refused to air it so the censored bit was the best we could get away with on television. It got the point across, though. Buddy had this standing agreement with The Stomper not to step on his toes or take any business from New York City Wrestling... Stomper absolutely refused to be pulled into the wars. I couldn't have cared less his stance on things, but I knew I had to break Buddy's agreement with him because there was some talent from New York I definitely wanted, really needed, to utilize in my vision for the product. They had this guy that I knew could work a match with Michael Cook, really help the kid get over, and I wanted him on that basis alone. Not to mention, I had every intention of running shows in New York by the end of the year... so, that agreement had to go. I had to play nice with RPW for the time being... our network execs basically demanded it. "Don't wanna mess up the action block," I can still hear them saying. I couldn't wait for a larger deal... I didn't even so much want talent from Preston's outfit, I just hated being lumped in with them. Steve Flash, of course, was a great talent but he wasn't gonna step into The Danger Zone, he hated everything we stood for, so f*** him. Alex Braun, of course, would go on to be a regular down the line, but I'd be lying if I said he was on my radar at this point. Rapid Pro Wrestling was full of good wrestlers, sure, but I needed characters.
  10. p { margin:0; padding:0; line-height: 1.5em; } If requests are open (@willr0ck said 9am and I'm on my way to a meeting), I'd like to submit my request to the queue. Maximum Championship Wrestling is the #2 promotion in North America for the EXWrestling mod I am currently working on... here is the placeholder logo I swiped from Google Images and some key info about the promotion. The placeholder logo can be used for some inspiration, but I am not requesting an exact match-- its just the modern feel I'd like to go for with the logo. For the titles, I'd like World, Tag Team, Television, and for the extra perk, I'd like the Women's title.
  11. Glad it's looking better on dark mode! I think the issue is that I was writing things in Google Docs and then copy/pasting, but it brought some unwanted HTML with it doing it that way.
  12. Really appreciate the comments and analysis, I thrive on that kind of stuff as a writer. Glad you're enjoying the ride, I'm doing my best to make as immersive an experience as possible while also having Vibert's Voice help drive the narrative. I wanted a little taste of everything that makes DAVE what it is present in the debut show, while also not going too over the top considering it's on free television.
  13. p { margin:0; padding:0; line-height: 1.5em; } PRESENTED IN AS COMPLETE A FORM AS POSSIBLE BY WRESTLEWORLD DANGER AND VIOLENCE EXTREME PRESENTS DANGER ZONE TV FROM THE DANGER ZONE IN PITTSBURGH! FRIDAY, JANUARY WEEK TWO, 1997 Nemesis and Phil Vibert of The Extreme Agency are out to open the first edition of Danger Zone TV, the crowd booing mercilessly while Mitch Naess welcomes us to The Danger Zone on commentary and runs down what happened at Back In Black-- not only did Nemesis make his hotly rumored DAVE debut, he swerved the audience, joined forces with the hated Phil Vibert & his Extreme Agency group, and picked up the DAVE Extreme title in the process. Vibert with the microphone first, running down the crowd and calling them all easily fooled marks; like moths to the flame, they all flocked to The Danger Zone with hopes that Nemesis would save them from the reign of The Extreme Agency... and, like the dumb marks they are, they were all played for fools by The Speaker of Truths. "Without further ado, The Extreme Agency proudly presents to you unworthy marks, The Speaker of Truths... the man who brings the violence to Danger And Violence Extreme... the reigning Danger And Violence Extreme Champion... the only 'supreme' moth******er in this business... Nemesis!"Vibert announces proudly, the heavily muscled champion stepping to the center of the ring, taking the microphone in hand, championship belt slung over his left shoulder. He lets the boos shower over him for a moment before speaking. "You wanna know the truth?" he begins, boos intensifying as he and Vibert smirk in the ring. "The truth is you all got what you deserved at Back In Black... and so did I. You all got to go home unhappy, and I finally got to go home with gold. This business has been put on notice," Nemesis says, adjusting the title on his shoulder. "I'm not here to be the people's champion, I'm not here to make friends... I'm here to be the champion... the guy... the man everyone in this business is talking about... and the truth is... I am! I am the man, and this proves it," he says, lifting the title up a bit to display it. "Richard Eisen, you--" the champion goes on an expletive-laden rant that the censors blank out in full. "Oh my!" Mitch Naess responds on commentary, the crowd begrudgingly popping for the heel champion as he badmouths their common enemy. Nemesis turns his attention to Johnny Martin, the former DAVE Extreme Champion, and dares him to come take the title back before telling him, "the truth is... you can't." "I AM NEMESIS! I AM THE TRUTH... AND I AM... THE MAN!" he shouts before dropping the mic, he and Vibert posturing in the ring for a moment before Naess sends the original episode to a commercial break. WrestleWorld uses the commercial breaks of the show to advertise their own upcoming events, PSW's upcoming show on the service chief among them. GENGHIS RAHN VS. JJ COLES Genghis Rahn is perhaps the most hated man in DAVE after his assault on Henry Lee at Back In Black left "The Icon of Insanity" potentially blind; Mitch Naess says no one has heard from Lee since he left the hospital the day following the show. Coles makes an entrance to the arena on his motorcycle, but Rahn brutalizes him with the kendo stick as soon as he parks it. What ensues is more of a beating than a match, Rahn kicks Coles' ass all over the ring before rolling him inside and ending it with a Rahn To The Hills. WINNER: GENGHIS RAHN Following the match, an unhinged Arizona Assassin gets on the microphone and tells The Danger Zone that "The King of the Deathmatch" has arrived and that Back In Black was just the beginning of his reign of terror. He says that DAVE's "icon" learned firsthand not to come at The King and is now lying, broken and blind, in the gutters of Pennsylvania where he belongs. The crowd screams their disapproval, the cameras catching an "ARIZONA AS****E" sign in the audience as everyone screams their disapproval at the cocky Rahn. "We'll be right back, and, hopefully, this guy will be gone," Naess pitches to another commercial, this time WrestleWorld advertising that they are the exclusive streaming home of Danger And Violence Extreme. FREDDIE DATSUN VS. VIN TANNER A match many expected to main event goes on the middle of the show, which would become something of a hallmark of Phil Vibert's booking during his time at the helm in DAVE. Tanner tries to stretch Datsun, but the young everyman has come a long way in his feud with The School of Tradition. The match is bisected by another commercial break, and the finish sees Datsun barely manage to roll out of Tanner's V For Victory and, after a short sequence, hit the Patriot Press to win the match. WINNER: FREDDIE DATSUN Eric Tyler hits the ring almost immediately, putting the boots to Datsun and helping Tanner recover; the pair go on the assault, but Miss Bliss enters the ring and hops on Tanner's back to try and even the odds. The crowd roars with approval as Bliss claws at Tanner, and Datsun reverses an Irish whip on Tyler. It looks, for a brief moment, like the babyfaces will prevail but Tanner eventually flips Bliss forward and off his back, slamming her to the mat as cheers turn to boos. Tyler gets the upperhand on Datsun as he tries to rush to save Miss Bliss, and The School of Tradition is left standing tall even after suffering a singles loss. After the match, we're taken to a dark area somewhere backstage, an unfamiliar figure standing in the darkness, arms crossed as he embraces himself. He cuts a meandering promo about violence and blood, talking about his physical and emotional scars... he mentions how he was "stationed at parish of violence," but has left the familiar for the unknown. "The train has left the station and is headed off the tracks... and I, Butcher, have arrived in Danger And Violence Extreme." DAVE TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH THE ANIMALZ (C) VS. BLACK MURDER This match is almost a carbon copy of their Back In Black encounter, Naess saying the former champions invoked their rematch clause before they even left The Danger Zone after dropping the titles. The finish once again sees Black take the pinfall for his team. WINNERS, AND STILL CHAMPIONS: THE ANIMALZ Following the match, Murderous Mikey circles his downed partner for a moment, berating him for losing the titles and the rematch. He helps Black up, and then launches into an attack that eventually sees him put his now-former partner through a table at ringside. Naess predicts the end of the team is just the beginning of the violence to be seen from these two. THE EXTREME AGENCY VS. JOHNNY MARTIN & MONTY WALKER The Extreme Agency's reign of terror continues its genesis here, Hardway and Future appearing to injure Monty Walker early on; "The Coolest Guy in the Room" is stretchered out of the match before strategically dismantling Johnny Martin on their way to victory. WINNERS: THE EXTREME AGENCY The pinfall doesn't appear to be the end of it, though, as soon enough Nemesis and Phil Vibert are back out, with Vibert directing traffic as his minions swarm Martin. The beating continues for a beat or two before the lights go out, and some familiar music begins to play... "VENGEANCE HAS ARRIVED!" Naess crows into his headset as DAVE's Avenging Angel charges the ring and makes quick work of clearing out The Extreme Agency. The heels powder out of the ring and gather on the outside, looking on in disbelief as the man they thought they had gotten rid of helps Johnny Martin up. Nemesis and Vengeance stare each other down to end the first episode of Danger Zone TV. RATING: 64 ATTENDANCE: 300 [SELLOUT]
  14. Work has been a bit delayed as of late with my work schedule, and just the usual ebb and flow of where my hobby time goes when I have it. Played a lot of Football Manager, but things are circling back to EXWrestling as I get immersed in TEW again. If you have any mod experience and are interested in joining the team, shoot me a PM and we'll see what clicks.

  16. p { margin:0; padding:0; line-height: 1.5em; } VIBERT'S VOICE PODCAST "JANUARY 1997, PT. FOUR" First off, I want to thank all the subscribers who joined us for the Back In Black 1997 watch along... man, Buddy was tanked by the end of that show, wasn't he? Thanks, also, to Buddy Gaines, original DAVE owner, for watching along and drinking with us; it was a lot of fun, but let's not do it again too soon, eh? So, we announced at Back In Black that we were going to start weekly TV from The Danger Zone and airing on Central Perk TV, which just happened to be the same network that Rapid Pro Wrestling ran their television on as well. Despite my best efforts against it, the network put us both on TV on Friday nights in a "Maximum Action" block, but, man, our shows couldn't have been more different. RPW was that fast-paced style that was just really starting to hit in America, especially on the east coast-- people had seen it out west where there lucha influence was more prevalent but it was relatively new to us here in the tri-state. I didn't necessarily have anything against RPW, or Preston, or Steve, or any of that crew, I just knew there was no fitting together DAVE and RPW. But, the network didn't listen. John was adamant that we bring in better production for the shows, even paid for some of it out of his contract, just to really help bring us to the table. He didn't want people to flip past us at midnight, eleven PM, whatever time we were airing at, and automatically dismiss us as minor league. I'm thankful he did, too, not just because of how it helped at the time but because it made the HD conversions for WrestleWorld that much easier to convert and preserve the legacy. We also did a lot to improve our live experience at the time, and we had to start paying for the music we used since we were going to be airing on TV-- needless to say, DAVE was operating at about double the capacity it had before I took over. It was growing into this huge beast already, and I had only been in charge for two shows. Pay-per-view wasn't an option, yet, because we were seen as this rinky-dink promotion that didn't even have television in the PPV world-- not to mention GAMMA and mixed martial arts, which was still known more as no holds barred fighting at the time, were having a time trying to get consistent PPV coverage. We didn't stand a chance with the level of violence on our shows, and things were only going to get more violent with the booking plans. The big news coming out of Back In Black, was, of course, Nemesis making his debut and aligning with The Extreme Agency-- as a character, I had been trying to install someone as the DAVE Extreme Champion for months, so to have Nemesis show up as the potential savior of it all only to turn on the crowd and make them eat shit? It was brilliant. I intentionally had advertised The Hype as making an open challenge at the show as a red herring for Nemesis' debut-- everyone coming into The Danger Zone that night knew, they knew, that Nemesis was going to step through that curtain and kick Hype's ass, but I turned it all on them. Nemesis opened the show to a hero's welcome, and we closed the show to a near-riot. But, that was the second near-riot of the show. Like I mentioned on the watch along, there's about 10 minutes of missing footage from the arena after Genghis Rahn blinded Henry Lee. The crowd was furious that this intruder from XFW came in and, not only beat their hero, but brutalized him? Blinded him? We never kicked fans out of the arena, but, man, it came close that night. They tried to rush the ring; Genghis Rahn had to be escorted out of the building straight away, he didn't even get to stay and see the main event. Henry Lee, to his credit, sold it like million bucks. Everyone thought he was blind, and he didn't even leave the house for something stupid like six weeks while we were building the angle. People thought they were never gonna see The Icon of Insanity again. The assault on Vengeance went over exactly how I had hoped as well-- with him out of the picture for the main event, people were expecting a swerve, but they weren't necessarily expecting the swerve we gave them. But, taking out Vengeance gave Frankie Future the heat he needed to carry that program and freed up Officer Hardway to be a more generic enforcer type who could take the falls for The Extreme Agency and keep everyone else strong. The Hype's open challenge opponent thought to be Nemesis wasn't the only swerve that night, though, because there was another section of the audience who were pretty sure Nemesis would show up as The Darkness Warriors' master, and that didn't happen. I knew when I wanted to reveal that one, and I knew I had to space out some debuts-- but, man, where there some big surprises yet to come in January.
  17. Thanks for reading, and thanks for the kinds words! Old school ECW is some of my favorite pro wrestling of all time, and DAVE is one of my favorite CVerse promotions of all time. I'm hoping to put together something that continually hits the right notes, while also flirting with deathmatches as I sign some guys away from XFW (since they have the most over guys in the tri-state).

  20. p { margin:0; padding:0; line-height: 1.5em; } PRESENTED IN AS COMPLETE A FORM AS POSSIBLE BY WRESTLEWORLD DANGER AND VIOLENCE EXTREME PRESENTS BACK IN BLACK 1997 LIVE FROM THE DANGER ZONE IN PITTSBURGH! MONDAY, JANUARY WEEK TWO, 1997 The WrestleWorld presentation of the show begins with a shot from the hard camera of fans going crazy in The Danger Zone, various signs supporting or putting down a number of Tri-State talents. Some examples include “DAVE > XFW,” “WELCOME NEMESIS,” and the ever-present fan in a baseball cap with his “USE MY SIGN” poster board– no one in The Danger Zone has ever obliged. An outdated graphic appears on the screen to identify the date of the show before another, equally outdated graphic fades onto the screen of the show’s logo. “What’s going on?” is the first thing Mitch Naess can be heard saying on commentary, the lights in the arena going off as the crowd busts into raucous cheers. The lights stay down for a longer than usual amount of time, and with the arena still dark, some brand new music begins to play over the PA system. Slowly, a spotlight begins to shine just over the famous chain link entryway and the crowd loses their ever-loving minds as Nemesis steps out onto the stage. “OH MY GOD!” Mitch Naess screams, the audio of the show getting fuzzy from all of the loud noise being picked up by the arena mics. The Speaker of Truths stands there in the spotlight for a moment, taking in the pop of the crowd before the house lights come back up and he begins to head to the ring while Naess raves about the arrival of one of the biggest stars in all of professional wrestling. The man known as Nemesis heads to the ring with a purpose, taking a microphone and pacing around the ring. His entrance song plays in full before he finally begins to speak “Welcome to The Danger Zone,” Nemesis finally speaks, and the crowd pops all over again. “I’ll spare you the introductions, because I’m sure you all know who I am… they call me many things, but the one above all others is… The Speaker of Truths, and I am here to speak some truth.” The crowd is eating out of his hand as he speaks to them, cheers amping up and dying down as he conducts them like a symphony with his words. “I’m going to start out with a little rapid-fire truth for you all… Richard Eisen is an asshole, the Supreme Wrestling Federation sucks, and, earlier this week, I told that asshole exactly where he could stick it!” Nemesis continues on that he has been hearing rumblings of a revolution on the east coast, and he had to come see it for himself. He asks the crowd if they like blood, and they cheer. He asks if there are any XFW fans in the house, and they boo. With a smirk, Nemesis says he heard that the east coast was a cliquey place– and he heard that DAVE was the place to be if you want to set the wrestling world on fire. He points to the fan with the “WELCOME NEMESIS” sign, and tells the crowd that he’s arrived, and he’s here to stay. After a few more minutes of air his dirty laundry with the SWF, Nemesis says he’s come to DAVE for the same reason as anyone else: the DAVE Extreme Championship. “Now, I hear there’s a main event planned for this evening, and–” Before he can get much further, a familiar voice can be heard protesting. “No, no, no, no, no!” Phil Vibert seethes as he marches out from the back with a microphone in hand. “I know where you’re going with this, and, no! The answer is no! Unequivocally, absolutely–” “Will you shut the f**k up?” Nemesis fires back, and the crowd pops. “You cannot show up here and just–” “Actually, I’m not doing anything that’s not in my contract.” “Contract?!” Vibert rages. “You see, you and your cronies might have run the old Director of Extreme, Buddy Gaines, outta town, but he didn’t leave town without one last act of defiance.” Nemesis takes a piece of paper from his pocket and hands it to Vibert as the lead agent of The Extreme Agency. “That’s my contract, guaranteeing me a spot, tonight, in the Extreme title match.” “What?!” Vibert screams, throwing the paper down, red in the face as he screams at Nemesis. “You wanna play games? You wanna play games with me, big man?” Vibert nods confidently, a defiant look in his eyes. “We can play games. You got your shot, tonight. But you don’t get to jump the line… my man JD Morgan is already prepared for his ascent to the crown. So, you want a shot tonight? You got it…. three-way dance!” Vibert announces as the crowd pops again. “WHAT?!” Naess cries out on commentary; Nemesis smirks and nods his head, Vibert storming off. “Did– did I just hear that right?! We’re going to have a three-way dance in the main event?!” Nemesis’ music comes on again, and he plays to the crowd as he exits the arena. The crowd is buzzing after the opening segment, anticipating the next and breaking into boos as Chris Caulfield makes his entrance to The Danger Zone. 411 VS. CHRIS CAULFIELD After Caulfield is in the ring, the crowd cheers for 411 to make his entrance to The Danger Zone. The ensuing match is something of a DAVE special as 411 batters and brutalizes Caulfield for nearly six minutes, the blue chip rookie never giving up even though he doesn't a single offensive move in on the bearded monster that is 411. A Chokeslam to end it is elementary, and 411 exits The Danger Zone victorious. WINNER: 411 HENRY LEE VS. GENGHIS RAHN Before the match, "The Icon of Insanity" Henry Lee enters The Danger Zone with a chair in hand, held high over his head as he draws in the cheers of the fans. He comes to the ring and cuts a promo on Genghis Rahn and XFW by association, calling their King of the Deathmatch tournament an amusement park ride compared to what he's about to do to The Arizona Assassin. Rahn doesn't let Lee speak for long without coming out with some cross words of his own, calling Lee a cartoon character rather than a hardcore hero. The match itself seems to begin mid-promo, with Lee attacking Rahn with the microphone to begin a brawl that quickly spills outside. What ensues is pure mayhem as the two fight all over The Danger Zone, Lee even finally uses the elated fans' "USE MY SIGN" poster board then rips it apart to reveal a stop sign sandwiched between posters as the crowd pops big. That's about where the good times end for Lee, however, as Rahn turns the tides and utilizes a kendo stick to batter Lee all over his back and head as they head back towards the ring. Plunder and broken debris all over, a Rahn to the Hills ends the first encounter between these two madmen. WINNER: GENGHIS RAHN The mayhem doesn't end there, however, as Rahn immediately starts putting the boots to Lee. "C'mon, the match is over!" Naess complains as Rahn pulls Lee up by his hair, but Lee fires back. The exhausted pair brawl back-and-forth for a moment, neither man having much left to give as they exchange labored punches. Lee stumbles back to collect himself on the ropes while Rahn doubles over in the corner-- where he also finds his kendo stick. Lee begins a charge towards Rahn, but The Arizona Assassin swings the kendo stick like a baseball bat and hits Henry Lee right across the eyes! The Icon of Insanity lets out an inhuman scream and falls down, hands covering his face as he kicks and writhes. Rahn lets him have it another couple of times across the back, but soon security and the medical team is out to check on Henry Lee. "Oh, dear God!" Naess exclaims as we see Lee's bloody face for the first time, a crimson waterfall flowing into his eyes as The Icon screams that he can't see while Rahn looks on with a sick sort of satisfaction. He tries to rush Lee again, but security fends him off and orders him out of the ring while Lee gets a stretcher job out of The Danger Zone. The cameras focus on Mitch Naess at the announce desk, out of focus footage of Lee being tended to happening behind him as he tries to get his bearings and move on with his announce job, but he's clearly shaken up by what he's just seen happen. His voice is solemn as he talks about the feud between Freddie Datsun, Roy Stephens, and The School of Tradition; Eric Tyler and Vin Tanner have been taking the babyfaces of DAVE to task for their hardcore antics, but with Datsun and Stephens it is different. Neither man is especially hardcore in nature, they're both everyman types with a fighting spirit, but The School of Tradition has deemed both men unfit to remain in DAVE. Roy Stephens has been on the receiving end of most of the losses in this feud, and Naess doesn't see any reason for tonight to be any different. VIN TANNER VS. ROY STEPHENS Roy Stephens actually looks good in the beginning of the match, and Naess questions whether he will have to eat his words but, soon enough, Tanner is on the offensive and back to stretching and torturing the young superfan. In other encounters, Stephens has been almost quick to submit when locked in a submission, but here in this match he refuses to quit. The finish sees him take two vicious V For Victory suplexes from Vin Tanner before losing the pinfall. WINNER: VIN TANNER Following the match we hear some more from Mitch Naess, who promises an update on "The Icon of Insanity" Henry Lee before the end of the show, then turns his attention to The Darkness Warriors and their path of destruction through Danger And Violence Extreme. They have recently stated that their rampage has all been on account of their "master," but no one has seen or heard from this person aside from the destructive acolytes. "Ladies and gentlemen, there isn't a match scheduled at this time, but, I've been told, The Darkness Warriors have demanded some time, and... a sacrifice?... to honor their master." The hooded acolytes enter The Danger Zone, Naess reminding the viewers of their despicable deeds in the past, such as putting Miss Bliss through a table and putting numerous competitors through flaming tables. They enter the ring and warn, once again, that their master is on his way to The Danger Zone before demanding a sacrifice. This actually brings out Tim Tantrum and Lucas Hale. Mitch Naess reminds us that these two teams actually fought one another just a few days ago in New Jersey before Tantrum grabs a microphone. He's already ranting and raving, talking about how the Warriors might have beaten them in Jersey, but he and Hale are damn sure not going to stand by and let them sacrifice anyone. The odd couple team storm the ring, but the Warriors swarm on them before they can stand up; a violent beating ensues, Jay and Raul mauling Tim Tantrum and Lucas Hale. By the time they're through, Tantrum has been dumped through a table on the outside and Hale has taken Darkness Falls through a table on the inside of the ring. "I guess you can call this a sacrifice," Naess says as the Warriors make hand signals over their fallen foes, eventually bringing their hands together like they're praying before the lights go out. When they come back on, the Warriors and their "sacrifices" are both gone and there's nothing left but the debris of broken tables. "Where-- where'd they go??" Naess questions as the camera returns to him in the announcing area, the cleaning crew doing their jobs in the out of focus background. Naess turns his attention to something else that happened in New Jersey: the DAVE debut of the man simply known as The Hype. The video cuts to a lesser quality feed of the Highway to The Danger Zone show from New Jersey where The Hype made his debut and see highlights of him taking Johnny Martin to the limit for the DAVE Extreme title. When we're back in The Danger Zone, The Hype is making his entrance in the home arena for the first time... and the crowd boos him appropriately when he flips them off and grabs his crotch obscenely. "That's uncalled for!" Naess objects. Hype cuts a masterful promo on The Danger Zone fans, calling DAVE beneath him and singling out a few of DAVE's regular fans in the audience to put them down. He says that anyone who doesn't believe The Hype can come to the ring and find out firsthand that The Hype is real. "How about you, fat boy?" he goads a chunky ringside fan. "Where's the idiot in the baseball hat with his stupid sign? You wanna come get some?" He taunts a few more people before the music of DAVE and HGC star Monty Walker hits, and the fans pop for The Coolest Guy in the Room. The Coolest Guy in the Room says the only thing he sees in the ring is an overhyped talent, and he's here to answer the call on behalf of The Danger Zone. THE HYPE VS. MONTY WALKER These two put on the best match of the night so far, and even though the fans seem to be on Walker's side, a section of the ravenous crowd chants "HGC" at him whenever he showboats. Mitch Naess says that The Danger Zone crowd don't take kindly to being big leagued, making a double-edged joke about Walker being contracted to HGC and Hype's whole act. Walker and The Hype is the first competitive wrestling-style match of the evening, and the crowd was definitely ready for it as evidenced by their reactions throughout. In the end, The Hype continues and he picks up a win over Monty Walker. WINNER: THE HYPE DAVE TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH BLACK MURDER (C) VS. THE ANIMALZ This is a smash mouth brawl from the word go, headbutts and fists flying from all four men as the opening minutes take place as more of a tornado tag match before referee Michael Bull gets control of things. A miscommunication between the tag team champions allows The Wolverine to pick up the win for his team, and the DAVE Tag Team titles. Big Cat Brandon and The Wolverine pose in the ring, Brandon with the title hanging out of his mouth, as Mikey and Black argue on the outside. WINNERS, AND NEW DAVE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: THE ANIMALZ Back to the announce area where Mitch Naess recaps the Freddie Datsun feud with Eric Tyler and The School of Tradition, pointing out that Datsun and his allies don't hold a single victory over the School. "Will that change tonight?" he asks as we go back to the ring for the entrance of Eric Tyler. ERIC TYLER VS. FREDDIE DATSUN Eric Tyler cuts a promo before Datsun makes his entrance, running down Freddie as someone who should be in the Danger Zone crowd with the rest of the losers instead of in the ring with real wrestlers like himself and Vin Tanner. He calls Miss Bliss an insulting, sexist name and says she'd also be right at home in the crowd or maybe "working" the lot. This finally brings out Freddie Datsun and Miss Bliss; Tyler asks if Datsun has something to say, but the flanneled everyman just charges in to start the bout .There's a little bit of everything in this match as Tyler shows off his wrestling skills in the ring and the pair later brawl around ringside. The finish sees Tyler finally get a little bit of comeuppance, especially for his earlier remarks, as Miss Bliss kicks him between the legs to set up Datsun's finisher, the Patriot Press. WINNER: FREDDIE DATSUN Mitch Naess can't contain his laughter at the finish of the match, joking that Tyler is going to need plenty of ice for him yam bag and saying that he might think twice before saying such things about Miss Bliss again. While he's talking about the earlier arrival of Nemesis, he is interrupted by the opening chords of Vengeance's grandiose Danger Zone entrance. VENGEANCE VS. OFFICER HARDWAY Vengeance is out first to cut one of his brooding, ominous promos that the crowd eats up. He warns them not to trust the so-called Speaker of Truths, for any man who has to call himself a truth-teller has evil in his heart. He isn't able to get much else out before he's blindsided by Officer Hardway with a nightstick. The bell rings to signal the beginning of the match, and Hardway goes to work with the nightstick for a moment, seeming to put Vegeance down until the big man no sells a blow and starts to fight back. The match is a pretty standard Vengeance affair, ending with his Final Judgement finisher. WINNER: VENGEANCE Vengeance begins to wrap his chain around Hardway's neck to drag him off, but, charging from the back... "It's the insurance policy!" Naess exclaims, Frankie Future and his metal briefcase ramming into Vengeance to stop him from assaulting Officer Hardway. Future and his briefcase work Vengeance over until Hardway recovers enough to join in on the attack. Vengeance tries to fight back, but he's DDT'd onto the briefcase by Future, and the heels set Vengeance up for something the Avenging Angel used to do frequently when he was a heel: hanging him by the neck over the top rope on his chain. Naess calls for help, but no one shows as Future and Hardway loop the chain around Vengeance's neck and toss him over the top rope. Vengeance kicks and struggles, his face paint mostly flaked away, his usually cold eyes bulging as he hangs there for a moment. Future chokes Vengeance out with his leverage on the chain, and he finally lets him drop. "He may have broken his neck! Vengeance could be dead!" Naess exclaims as Phil Vibert comes out onto the entryway, clapping for his hired guns who are making their exit. "This is a sick scene in The Danger Zone," Naess says in disgust as The Extreme Agency make their exit. A quick video promo plays, announcing the DAVE is headed to weekly television! Starting this Friday at 11pm, Danger Zone TV will air every week on Central Perk TV! DAVE EXTREME TITLE MATCH JOHNNY MARTIN (C) VS. NEMESIS VS. JD MORGAN Mitch Naess explains the rules of three-way dance on commentary, noting that two men must be pinned or submitted and that the last man standing is the winner. The crowd is electric to start the match, cheers heavily split between Johnny Martin and Nemesis while vocally against JD Morgan. Phil Vibert is out at ringside, and he attempts to interfere early on on Morgan's behalf, but Nemesis puts a stop to it and sends Vibert packing. From there, the match centers on a story of Martin and Nemesis working over Morgan until he can turn the tides by sending Nemesis headfirst into a chair shot from Johnny Martin that had been meant for him. Nemesis rolls out of the ring to recover, and Martin & Morgan work a match for several minutes inside the ring. Morgan is eventually put away with a Twist on the Rocks, which is followed by the referee getting blindsided by Nemesis, and that's when all Hell breaks loose. "What is... oh my God!" Mitch Naess exclaims, Phil Vibert returning and leading out the rest of The Extreme Agency: Officer Hardway, and his "Insurance Policy" Frankie Future. The duo rush the ring, and, collectively, the quartet of Nemesis, JD Morgan, Officer Hardway, and Frankie Future put the boots to JD Morgan. Boos reign down as the fans in The Danger Zone realize what is happening-- they've all been duped by The Speaker of Truths. While the newly minted members of The Extreme Agency dismantle Johnny Martin, Phil Vibert retrieves another referee and drags him out by the collar, ordering him to the ring to count a pinfall as Nemesis puts his boot on Martin's chest for the three-count and the win. WINNER, AND NEW DAVE EXTREME CHAMPION: NEMESIS "You wanna know the truth?" Nemesis asks, holding the championship belt in one hand and a microphone in the other. "The truth is that the Devil always gets his due... you all thought Phil Vibert was the Devil? No. I am the Devil himself! My name is Nemesis... and I am represented by my agent, Phil Vibert... The Extreme Agency... and WE OWN DAVE!" "I'm gonna be sick," Mitch Naess laments as the copyright info comes up on the bottom of the screen before it fades to black with The Extreme Agency celebrating in the ring.
