Hulk's Return

OOC this is completely made up and isn't meant to be offensive to anyone, infringe on any copyrighted material or be read by anyone... ever For how many years had Hulk Hogan been promising to set up his own wrestling promotion. He’d mentioned in several interviews that the dream had taken steps toward becoming reality. Still no one believed him. All those times he dropped in names like Paul Wright (aka WWE’s Big Show) being interested. All those times people had ignored him. Well his boasting is about to become reality… Hulk Hogan is proud to announce the opening of the Hollywood Wrestling Association. Hogan had this to say at the official press launch of the new promotion.
“Wrestling has long been struggling from a lack of competition. The WWE has and will probably always be the dominant promotion in the industry but the lack of competition is reflected in a decline in the quality of the product. TNA have grown but lack a lack of direction and poor management means it is doomed to failure. Under my vision this promotion will rise to claim its position as the number one challenger to the WWE. Who better in the industry to lead the challenge than the immortal Hulk Hogan? Vince McMahon, brother, watcha gonna do when Hulk Hogan and the HWA run wild on you?”
Further details were released afterwards with the most interesting things being

Paul Wright and Eric Bischoff have both agreed to front some finance for the promotion.
In return they will both receive a 25% share of the promotion.
All three are expected to have on screen roles within the promotion.
A pay per view deal has already been agreed with Public Access PPV USA with a TV deal close to being agreed.
In order to ensure that potential signings aren’t put off by back stage politics, head booking duties will be taken on by former member of WWE creative, Warren Fox.
Fox had been out of work for a few months following a disagreement with WWE owner Vince McMahon over the handling of ECW and Paul Heyman’s subsequent firing.
HWA is proud to announce that the debut of the new promotion will occur at the end of the month and will be called HWA Showtime with more details about the card set to be released later. OOC, I'm using the old version of the one ring circus data, starting in May. I started the game before Wrestlemania so I didn't haven't updated the database or anything. As for the Warrior, I doubt he'll make an appearance in a Hogan / Bischoff run promotion. Gonna try to keep it as realistic as possible with who I hire, including a simulated creative pressure to push some people whom I normally wouldn't give a second look at. The interview the world's been waiting for... Interviewer: Ladies and Gentlemen, I've got a real treat for you today. I'm here with the new head booker of Hulk Hogan's latest brain child, Hollywood Wrestling Association, Mr Warren Fox. Welcome Mr Fox. Fox: Hi Interviewer: So, how did you end up the head booker for the HWA? Fox: I’d worked on a number of storylines involving Paul (Wright) in the WWE and later ECW so I’d already heard about things possibly happening and let him know that I was interested. This was a couple of months ago, just before his release from the WWE. Around the time of his release a lot of things happened in the promotion which I didn’t agree with so I parted company with them. A few months later I got a call from Eric (Bischoff) asking if I was still interested in getting involved. The second that Hulk’s name was mentioned the deal was done, I mean seriously, how could you pass up an opportunity to work with as bigger draw as the immortal Hulk Hogan? Originally it was gonna be only in a creative sense with Hulk, Paul and Eric doing most of the booking. Of course, when you get three huge characters with huge personalities to match there are gonna be disagreements. After a month or so it became clear that if this project was going to become reality then things had to be shaken up. It was decided that I would become head booker and have the final say on all creative decisions. Of course, Hulk, Paul and Eric will all still have a massive say in the running of the promotion but there it is, there’s the story. Interviewer: Are you afraid that trying to cope with three huge egos will tear the promotion apart? Fox: Of course there’s a danger that there will be disagreements, that happens in any business. The one thing you have to remember is that all these men have invested money in this venture and all these men have a vested interest in the success of the promotion. I also have confidence in my ability to keep their ‘egos’ in check. If I wasn’t then why would I have agreed to take the job? Interviewer: What roles will the three be taking? Will they all be on screen? Fox: Hulk Hogan is the biggest icon sports entertainment and failure to use him would be suicidal. Of course there are questions over his fitness and we’ll have to reassess his position in a few weeks time. As for Paul, he’s still carrying a few injuries so we’ll be using him sparingly in the ring but he might find himself in a commentating role. Having said that, I can confirm he will be featuring in a wrestling capacity at HWA Showtime. As for Eric, it is highly likely he will be used in his tried and tested authority role although he might be used in a way that is out of his comfort zone with him possibly adopting a ‘face’ persona. Interviewer: Any news about the t.v. show? Fox: All sorted and we’re set to air every Sunday starting next month. Interviewer: Any details on the roster? Fox: A couple of names have already agreed to appear, mostly former WCW talent whom Eric has already worked with. A couple of former WWE stars with the undercard being made up with a lot of stars from the independent scenes. There have been a few problems attracting high calibre stars to join and we have had to readjust our expectations about who we can attract. Interviewer: Names? Fox: I don’t want to give you names only for them to turn round and say they’re overbooked and can’t make it, so I’ll keep most names secret. A couple that I can confirm that will be appearing in HWA are; Teddy Hart, Steve Corino, Spike (formerly Dudley) and Jushin Thunder Liger. Obviously there will be more additions and a preliminary draft of the HWA Showtime card will be available in a few of days. Interviewer: Well that’s just about all we’ve got time for folks. Thank you for your time Mr Fox. Fox: No worries. Interviewer: HWA Showtime will air on the last Sunday of May and will be available on Pay Per View via Public Access USA PPV. Book early for a reduced rate. Tune in this Tuesday to get my podcast, including the RAW rundown, the weekly ‘What the hell is going on with TNA’ and my reaction to the massive roster culls happening over at the WWE.

HWA Showtime The debut event for the Hollywood Wrestling Association is sure to be a night not to be missed with a card as action packed as this one. Some of the greatest wrestlers the world has ever seen in some of the greatest matches the wrestling industry will ever experience will be on view in what will mark the beginning of the hottest new promotion in the world. Billy Kidman vs. Caprice Coleman vs. Jody Fleisch vs. Jonny Storm vs. Jushin Thunder Liger vs. Trent Acid for the HWA Top Rope Title With all this talent on show, this is going to be one hell of a match with the stakes being raised due to the fact there is a title at stake here. If your looking for reasons to buy this PPV this match is a big one and the inclusion of former WWE and WCW cruiserweight champion Billy Kidman and the world renowned Jushin Thunder Liger give the match that much more star name power. On top of all this, it has also been announced that the match will take place under ladder rules. Apolo vs. Scott Norton Scott Norton is a world famous competitor, particularly for his time in WCW and wrestling in Japan with IWGP. Apolo has achieved a degree of fame, just not in wrestlng, with his claim to fame being a former professional basketball player. Whilst Norton would appear to be a clear favourite, insiders state that Apolo is a person with a big future in the business and an upset may be on the cards here. An Eric Bischoff surprise Acting chief executive, Bischoff, has promised to give the fans a special treat for the night by adding another match up on the show. Whilst the identities of the two competitors have been kept under wraps, insiders are hopeful that this will prove to be the surprise standout match of the night. Spike vs. ‘The King Of Old School’ Steve Corino Two former ECW alumni, both with a point to prove. The match up will play to both of their strengths as it has been made a hardcore, falls count anywhere match. Will Corino’s size advantage prove decisive or will the perennial underdog Spike secure a victory on the promotion’s debut. Hulk Hogan and Paul ‘The Show’ Wight vs. Teddy Hart and TJ Wilson Who thought that these two greats would step into the ring again as tag team partners? Well it happens tonight as Hogan and Show come out of retirement to take on the highly promising duo of Teddy Hart and TJ Wilson. In what is a battle between two icons of the past against possibly two icons of the future, this match is sure to be one of the highlights of the night. EWE – Showtime (Pizzotola Sports Centre – 2000. Live on Pay Per View) Announcer – Michael Hayes. vs.vsvs. vs.vs. Billy Kidman vs. Caprice Coleman vs. Jody Fleisch vs. Jonny Storm vs. Jushin Thunder Liger vs. Trent Acid for the HWA Top Rope Title A very decent opener for the first show in HWA’s history. A lot of talent on display. Fleisch and Storm have a lot of history together and went after each other, leaving the four men to fight between themselves. Liger and Kidman emerged as the two leading contenders for the title. Kidman found some momentum and cleaned house before climbing to the top of the ladder. With the title in his grasp he decided to go for the shooting star press, putting Liger away once and for all. Liger countered before hitting the sheer-drop brainbuster on Kidman. Liger climbed the ladder, retrieved the title and became the first champion in the promotion. (C-) and Hulk Hogan and Paul ‘The Show’ Wright make their way to the ring. They welcome the fans and thank them for turning up to witness this monumentous night in wrestling history. They hype themselves to the moon and the crowd really buys it. (A) vs. Spike vs. Steve Corino (hardcore match) Steel Chairs Trash Cans Canes The battle went through the crowd. The battle went through the arena. Neither man could get the advantage. Spike went for a bulldog only to be put through a table. Corino followed this up with an old school expulsion and made the cover to get the victory. (C+) Jimmy Hart comes out and announces that effective immediately he is the newest signing for the company. Hart goes on to say that he is willing to sign another contract. He offers his services to anyone that is willing to meet the the $100,000 price tag that accompany his offer. Hart promises that anyone whom signs the contact with him, will find that their stock will quickly rise and that title reigns will follow soon after. (C) vs. Apolo vs. Scott Norton The well travelled Norton showed a far greater in ring experience than his opponent using every opportunity to slow down Apolo’s offence, rolling outside the ring every time he started to tire. Apolo became increasingly frustrated. He lost his temper and began arguing with the referee after a long 2 count. Norton got to his feet and as Apolo turned round, Norton clotheslined him. Norton lifted Apolo up and proceeded to powerslam Apolo before going for the coveer and getting the pinfall victory. (D) HWA chief executive Eric Bischoff made his way to the ring with the crowd unsure whether to cheer or boo him. Bischoff announced that he was well aware of his reputation and that the crowd had every right to hate him. Bischoff stated that he had turned a new leaf and to prove this he was going to give the fans a real treat. He announced that he’s just signed a match between a former WCW and WWE superstar and a man who can lay claim to being one of the hottest prospect in wrestling today. Bischoff announced that it will be Nigel McGuiness taking on Lance Storm and that match is next. (D+) vs. Lance Storm vs. Nigel McGuiness These two both have the ability to put on great matches. Unfortunately it appears not when they’re up against each other as they just didn’t click. Oh well. A number of submission moves and suplexes should have kept fans of technical wrestling happy. Lance Storm picked up the victory after locking in the Canadian Maple Leaf and McGuiness tapped out (D+) with and Christy Hemme, HWA’s lead interviewer, makes her way to the ring to interview both members of The New Foundation – Teddy Hart and TJ Wilson. She asks them how they feel knowing they are about to go into the biggest match of their careers. Hart replies he’s ready and waiting to seize this opportunity with Wilson promising that this won’t be the straight forward victory for the Hulk and The Show that everyone is expecting. (C) and vs. Hulk Hogan and Paul ‘The Show’ Wright vs. The New Foundation Oh dear. Oh dear. Oh dear. Surely Hart and Wilson’s youth could cover up for Hulk and Show’s lack of mobility? Nope. Train wreck of a main event. Chokeslam by Show to Wilson. Big boot and legdrop by Hogan to Hart. Hogan makes the cover. 1,2,3 The legends win. (D+) Hulk and Show celebrate in the ring with the fans on their feet cheering (clearly memories of the match were fading). Hulk and Show did the whole posing together thing as the show went off the air. (B+) Overall the show got a D+ and drew a 0.0 rating. Oh well, at least the television show should do better (hopefully). The card was pretty disappointing overall but that was expected due to not having finalised a lot of contracts. Storm was supposed to get a better opponent but a big deal fell through so plans had to be changed. Hulk and Show used their influence to main event (not that I would have complained on this one though). I was hoping that their younger opponents would carry the match to a better rating. In other news, a lot of things ended last night – smackdown, ECW on Sci-Fi, Impact and Terry Funk’s career. OOC - just wanted to get the first show out of the way and in future I'll try and go more into depth with the angles. This show was mostly used as a show piece and the storylines will kick into gear come the airing of the first tv show.

The head booker's reaction to the first pay per view Interviewer: Ladies and gentlemen I am here once again with Hollywood Wrestling Association head booker Warren Fox who’s coming off the back of the promotion’s first show. Welcome to you Mr. Fox. Fox: Hello. Interviewer: Warren, how do you think HWA Showtime went? Fox: I know there has been a somewhat mixed reaction from people who saw the show on the internet and you know, I was also disappointed with it. Interviewer: Yeah, from some of the callers I received there was a feeling that the show could have been better. What do you think was the biggest failing? Fox: I felt like a lot of the roster weren’t really on their game. Most of the workers hadn’t been in action for a while and I think that was a reflected in some of those performances. There was also a case of putting in some of the younger, less experienced workers in matches due to the fact that we hadn’t finalised a lot of contracts and some of those kids weren’t ready to make the step up. Interviewer: Like Teddy (Hart) and (TJ) Wilson? Fox: Yeah maybe. The problem is, Hulk and Paul aren’t as mobile as they used to be and they need to be helped by their opponents. Paul especially is in far worse shape than we thought he was and I can’t see him making an in ring appearance any time in the near future. As for Teddy and TJ I’m sure that those two will work their way up the card and will be main eventing in no time. Interviewer: Any details on the number of buys? Fox: No comment. Interviewer: Moving on then, with the disappointment that was the Pay Per View, will the television show be any better? Fox: We’re gonna take a little time settling in and whilst I have every confidence in the promotion’s long term success there will be period of struggle. However, having been working with Hulk, Eric and Paul, by the end of the month there should be a number of hot storylines in the promotion and we should have a better idea about who will be the focus of the promotion. Interviewer: Any details of who’ll be appearing on the first show? Fox: We’re going a bit title belt crazy with Jushin Thunder Liger defending his title belt against the man that pushed him so close at the Pay Per View, Billy Kidman. Also we’re gonna see the introduction of a new tag team title belt which will be decided in a four team battle royal. Interviewer: Hogan? Fox: Hulk will have a match up against former WCW and WWE star Sean O’Haire. Interviewer: O’Haire – that’s a bit of a coup. Fox: Yeah, we’re delighted that we’ve managed to sign him. He was going to debut against Lance Storm at the Pay Per View but contract negotiations dragged on a little bit so he couldn’t appear but he’s all signed up now and will be present at the show. Interviewer: That’s all we’ve got time for, all the best with the show, HWA Home of The Immortals will air at 11 o’clock Eastern Time on the New England channel. Thank you for your time Mr. Fox Fox: Always a pleasure Interviewer: Okay fans, tune in tomorrow for my RAW rundown and reaction to the new black Sunday in wrestling – the cancelling of TNA Impact, Smackdown and ECW of Sci-Fi. Will wrestling ever recover from this day?

You would have had Apolo beaten Norton  lol. Anyway, just finished booking up to the next pay per view which was in my opinion a whole lot better than this one. Just have to write up the shows and then we're rocking.

O’Haire is furious blaming the referee for making a fast three count. O’Haire then turns his attention to Hogan, insinuating that Hogan had the referee bribed. O’Haire describes Hogan as a poison upon the wrestling industry and… O’Haire: It is high time that that orange stain on wrestling is finally eliminated. Tanaka had much of the offence in the match. Spike didn’t really get going although in typical Spike fashion he kept kicking out of pins. The two competitors made their way back to the ring. In the end Tanaka put him away with the complete dust and picked up the win. (C) Spike is down on the mat, bleeding, when Corino’s music hits and he comes out to the ring... You killed ECW, you. No one else Spike. You ended the dream. Spike, it is my promise to you that I will teach you what hardcore wrestling is really all about. I’m going to take you to the limits. First team eliminated were the Pitbulls by UK of Wrestling Followed by the New Foundation by The Bashams. The match was very open with neither tag team getting a solid upperhand. Doug Basham low blowed McGuiness with the referee distracted. As the referee checked on McGuiness, The Bashams hit the Basham Bulldog on Williams onto a chair The Bashams eliminated the UK of Wrestling and picked up the victory and are the new HWA Tag Team champions (D) Jimmy Hart is seen backstage again. He states that no one has been wise enough to take him up on his offer. Hart again reiterates that for the sum of $100,000 he will offer his services to any man. Hart states that with the resources at his disposal, failure to take advantage of this once in a life time opportunity will be a massive mistake for any wrestler whom hopes to make it in this business. A real showpiece for the fans that tuned in to watch the show. A lot of high flying moves really got the crowd off their feet. Kidman heads to the top rope and goes for the shooting star press. Liger rolls out the way! Liger hits the sheer-drop brainbuster on Kidman. Liger makes his first title defence of his HWA Top Rope Title reign. (C-) Quick Results Hulk Hogan def. The tag team match was a slight disappointment but I still feel the division has potential to be very strong – I’m personally a big fan of tag wrestling and if I can recruit the talent there will be a big focus on it.

Eric Bischoff kicks off the show, making his way to the ring. Bischoff announces that he is going to live up to his promise and give the fans a treat to prove that he is listening to what the fans want (still some boos). Bischoff announces that he has financed the latest HWA signing from his own pocket and unveils Kid Kash as the mystery competitor in the four way match for a shot at the HWA Top Rope Title, with the match being up next. He wanted another title shot. Kidman sent Kash flying out of the ring before going after the other two Kidman leaves both his opponents down on the mat. Shooting star press to both of them at the same time! Out of nowhere Kash dives back into the ring and launches himself off the top rope taking down Kidman Kash delivers the Dead Level to Kidman and the match is over Kid Kash becomes the new number one contender to the HWA Top Rope Title. All of a sudden Steve Corino bursts into the locker room and nails Spike with a chair. Corino lands a few more blows to Spike. Corino smiles as Spike is bust up and clearly not in a good condition for his match which is up next. (E+) Sean O’Haire is seen sat down in a chair watching a video. The camera pans round to reveal he’s watching a Hulk Hogan highlights tape. O'Haire: I now know what it feels like to be one of the men that has lost to Hulk Hogan. I know how it feels to be pinned for the 1,2,3. I know how it feels to be beaten by Hulkamania. I feel....CHEATED Hulk Hogan, you've made a career out of cheating. I know how you beat last week. It wasn't that your stronger than men, it wasn't that your a better in ring performer. Hulk Hogan, you bribed the referee and he made a fast count. See you're career is based on screwing other men out of their hard earned victories but no longer. I know what to watch out for now. I'm Sean O'Haire and unlike thos other punks on this video I ain't gonna let you beat me that easily. I'm Sean O'Haire, I know all your little tricks. I'm Sean O'Haire, and I'm gonna end Hulkamania! (D+) vs Apolo vs. Spike (hardcore match) Spike came to the ring, still bleeding from the earlier attack. Apolo uses the advantage and completes a bad night for the runt. Apolo hits the El Fondo del Abismo on Spike. That’s not enough though and he sets a table up in the middle of the ring. Apolo chokeslams Spike through the table before making the cover and picking up the victory. (C+) with Hulk Hogan is backstage and is interviewed by Christy Hemme. Hemme asks Hulk what his thoughts are about O’Haire’s claims that Hulk has made a career out of holding the next generation down. Hulk challenges O’Haire to come up and face him like a man… Hogan: “Watcha gonna do O'Haire? You gonna be a man and step up to face the icon of the wrestling industry? Watcha gonna do when you step into the ring and realise that the rumours are true? Watcha gonna do when you realise that Hulkamania’s still alive? Watcha gonna do brother, when Hulkamania runs wild on you? (B+) vs The Basham Brothers vs. The United Kings of Wrestling (for the HWA Tag Team Titles) Not by any means a classic. McGuiness and Williams had the advantage for much of the match. The referee was knocked down after Doug Basham pulled the referee into the way of a clothesline from McGuiness. Williams and McGuiness cleaned house. Out of nowhere The Havana Bulldogs jumped The UK of Wrestling, beating them to the ground. The Bashams capitalised with Doug covering McGuiness after Danny revived the referee. The first successful title defence for the Bashams. (D-) Jimmy Hart comes out and announces that, for yet another week, no one has accepted the offer of the century and no one has agreed to pay for his services. Hart once again reiterates that for the sum of $100,000 he will offer his managerial services to any wrestler. (D) Eric Bischoff’s music hits as he comes to the ring once again. He addresses the crowd and states that he realises they weren’t so happy with the new signing of Kid Kash. Bischoff states that he knows something that will win over all the fans in the crowd – a diva bikini contest – between the HWA two newest divas. He introduces them as former WWE divas Kelly and Shelly Martinez. and The two divas come out, each do a dance before Bischoff announces the winner to be Kelly. Storm gets in a lot of offence. Hogan kicks out of a very, very long two count. Hogan hulks up before hitting Storm with a big boot. Hogan follows up with a leg drop. A quick three count and Hogan is the winner. (C-) Quick Results Kid Kash def. The tag division is really not up to standard yet and Hulk is a big liability in the ring. On a definate plus side, we've got some seriously hot divas :D

OOC - thanks for the praise. Running the one ring circus mod found on bobnic.net HWA Home of The Immortals (Sports Plus Centre - 300) Announcer – Michael Hayes. Colour Commentator – Paul ‘the Show’ Wight Hayes: Fans, we are here for a night of shocks and twists that will witness the debuts of two major stars in wrestling. Wight: That's right Michael Mark Jindrak will take on Spike whom has hopefully recovered from the heinous attack last week. Hayes: That's not all fans, the immortal Hulk Hogan will take on another one of Eric Bischoff's gifts to the fans in the main event. Stay tuned to find out who this man is and whether or not he can score a debut victory over the biggest icon in the industry. Hulk Hogan’s music hits as the crowd get to their feet to cheer. Much to the crowd’s disappointment out comes Sean O’Haire covered in fake tan. O’Haire does all the Hogan poses, with the crowd making their displeasure known. O’Haire takes the mike… O’Haire: “Hogan, the clock is ticking. I, Sean O’Haire, have just proved to all those hulkamaniacs that anyone can come to the ring looking like a shrivelled up orange and do a couple of poses. You see, that’s all you are Hulk Hogan, an illusion. An illusion that you’ve managed to maintain through the oppression of the next generation. You did it whilst in the WWF, you did it in WCW and then finally you did it in the WWE. It’s because of you that it’s taken this long for me, Sean O’Haire, to make it to the top. That’s all about to change Hulk. I, Sean O’Haire, am going to end the illusion once and for all. I, Sean O’Haire, know what’s best for the fans. I know what the fans really want to see. Hulk, they don’t want to see you anymore, they want to see me. I’m Sean O’Haire and I’m GONNA END HULKAMANIA.” (D+) vs. The Havana Pitbulls vs. The United Kings Of Wrestling Probably the best tag team match we’ve seen in the promotion. A very even match. The Pitbulls were the more experienced team and it showed. The UK were more experienced in the ring and it showed. A few minutes in and the Bashams enter the ring, chairs in hand. They take out both tag teams leaving the ref with no option to call for a double stoppage. (D+) Steve Corino enters the ring and announces that there has been a change to the advertised card. It seems that Spike has been unable to make it due to a serious concussion he sustained last week and Corino will be taking his place in the match… Corino: Spike, tonight you will get a demonstration of just what it means to be a hardcore icon. Tonight, you will see why I am the king of old school and you are being forced to sit the night out in hospital. (C-) vs Mark Jindrak vs. Steve Corino (hardcore rules) One of those heel vs heel matches. Corino adopted the mantle of super heel for the match with the fans rallying against him. The hardcore rules suited Corino better and despite the fact the match stayed in the ring, Corino made good use of weapons under the ring. Corino finished off Jindrak with an old school expulsion and picked up the victory. (C) vs Apolo vs. Scott Norton Two matches back to back. Apolo again dominated the match. Norton looked out of his depth. Apolo hit a massive big boot and went for the cover. 1,2…kick out – just before the ref made the three count. Apolo looked furious with the referee. Norton started to get to his feet. Apolo looked set to deliver the chokeslam to Norton. Norton countered with a kick to the stomach and followed up with a powerbomb. Norton beat Apolo but only just. (C-) with After the match Apolo is walking backstage, clearly angry with himself for losing. Jimmy Hart stops him and asks Apolo what’s up… Apolo: What’s up? What’s up? What do you think is up!!! I just got beaten by that sack of c*** Scott Norton and your asking what’s up? I oughta… J. Hart: Wow, chill out man. I didn’t mean to offend you or anything. No far from that. Apolo, I see in you as an intelligent man. I see in you one of the biggest prospects in the industry. I see in you a man who knows that with my services, beating punks like Scott Norton isn’t gonna be a regular occurrence. No, beating punks like Hulk Hogan, like Paul Wight – that’s the level your gonna be at. Apolo: And what would it take to secure your services? J. Hart: $100,000 Apolo: And what would I receive. J. Hart: My services. Apolo: My services. My services. MY SERVICES! You better get out of here before I knock you out. You can take your services and stick them where the sun don’t sign. (E) with The camera cuts to the ring where Christy Hemme is accompanied by Jushin Thunder Liger. Hemme asks Liger what his thoughts are on the latest challenger to his title. Liger replies that he doesn’t care who is after his title… Liger: “Kid Kash, you see me. You hear me. Any time, any place. I’ll bring my title, you bring you’re A game. I know your ready and up next I’m gonna show you just how ready I am. Next week, lets do this.” (C-) vs. Caprice Coleman vs. Jushin Thunder Liger. The champ was on form here. Coleman did a brilliant job selling and got in some high flying offence of his own. Liger eventually hit the shoetei on Coleman and picked up the win. (C+) We cut to backstage where Kid Kash is shown watching Liger celebrating in the ring. Kash just smiles and doesn’t say anything. (D) Bischoff comes out (again to a mixed reaction). Ladies and gentlemen, I know you I still haven’t won you over yet but I’ve developed a new character trait – patience. I realise that it’s gonna take time to win you over. So without further ado I introduce to you, my latest gift, a former WCW and WWE champion, a member of some of the greatest stables in wrestling history. I give you… Perry Saturn. (C+) vs. Hulk Hogan vs. Perry Saturn Not a particularly long match here (I’ve learnt my lesson) Saturn looked a bit rusty out there but started to get into the flow. Hogan started to struggle with fitness – guess these 5 minute matches are a struggle! Hogan got Saturn down on the ground and went for the cover. As the ref counted Hogan held onto the ropes. 1,2,3 – Hogan steals another victory. (C) Hogan is celebrating his rather cheeky victory when out of nowhere Sean O’Haire runs into the ring and attacks Hogan. Hogan fights him off when all of a sudden Lance Storm runs into the ring and attacks Hulk. Hulk just about fights Storm off only to be blindsided by Perry Saturn. The numbers become too much for Hogan and a 3 on 1 beating ensues. Hogan is left bleeding from the mouth as O’Haire, Storm and Saturn stand victorious in the ring. (D+) Quick Results The Havana Pitbulls drew with The UK of Wrestling (double stoppage) Steve Croino def. Mark Jindrak Scott Norton def. Apolo Jushin Thunder Liger def. Caprice Coleman Hulk Hogan def. Perry Saturn The show got a C- overall and was far and away the best card so far. Not only were all the matches decent but some of the storylines really kicked into gear. The attack on Hogan had been building for a couple of weeks and I’d have liked to delay it for a bit longer but felt that it need to happen soon otherwise the viewers may have lost interest in the promotion. Liger is probably our MVP at the moment and his feud with Kash will hopefully increase the belt’s prestige a whole lot.

O’Haire takes the lead, announcing that they have been unable to make it to the arena tonight due to “car problems”. O’Haire: What did you think Hulk – all these years of holding the next generation down would never catch up with you? Did you really think that? You see Hulk, standing beside me are just two victims of your back stage politics. They’re careers are coming to a close and because of you, Hulk Hogan, they never reached the level they should have. Because of you Hulk. Well it’s payback time. See I’m Sean O’Haire and it seems that my preaching has got through to some people. It seems that people are starting to wake up and see you for the fraud you are. I’m Sean O’Haire. I see the real you, I know the real you. I’m Sean O’Haire and I’m gonna end hulkamania… with the help of these two. Liger: I know you won your shot at my title. Kash, I saw your victory and I saw the determination in your eyes. Kid Kash, I want you to know that I respect you and your in ring abilities. Kash, last week I called you out and you’ve decided not to show. I understand, bide your times, mess with my head, play your mind games, that’s fine. I’ve got a message to you Kash. This title shot thing ain’t for ever. I’m a champion and I need to keep myself at the top of my game, through defending my title. Kash, you’re times running out. Either step up and take me on or I’ll find another challenger for this title. They seemed to have the match all sown up. All of a sudden The United Kings of Wrestling and The Havana Pitbulls stormed the ring at the same time. They went straight after the Bashams with the referee calling an end to the match. Eventually the UK of Wrestling and the Pitbulls turned their attention towards each other. The Bashams took their opportunity to escape with their titles having won the match via DQ. Security stormed the ring to separate the Pitbulls and the UK of wrestling as they continued brawling oblivious to the Bashams escape. Bischoff: So ladies and gentlemen, that leaves Steve Corino without an opponent for tonight. Well that DID leave him without an opponent. See I made some calls, I used my contacts and I found that there was a wrestler who was more than happy to wrestle tonight in a hardcore rules match up. Steve, I think you might know him, in fact I think everyone will know him. That man is none other than… SPIKE!!! No sign of him suffering any side effects from the attack two weeks ago. Not as brutal as usual but still some violence Spike looked set to put Corino through a table with a running bulldog. Out of nowhere Masato Tanaka nailed him with a chair from behind. Tanaka and Corino double teamed him for a while before lifted Spike up and delivered the northern lights bomb through the table and picked up the victory. (C) After the match Tanaka and Corino set up another table outside the ring. Tanaka sends Spike crashing through the table as Corino looks on smiling. (E+) Next up Hulk Hogan’s music hits as he makes his way to the ring clearly still pissed. Hogan: Sean O’Haire, Lance Storm, Perry Saturn – I got news for you lot – Hulkamania’s still alive and still going strong. You three think I held you down? You three think I’m the reason for you being a bunch of failures? Sean O’Haire, I got news for you brother, I don’t care! In fact I don’t care which one of you I get my hands on first. Right here, right now tonight. I know you’re back there watching this. So why don’t one of you, any of you, hell all of you, come down to this ring and fig… All of a sudden Mark Jindrak’s music hits. Jinkdrak: I’ve listened to what Sean’s been saying and he’s absolutely right Hulk, you are an ORANGE HAS BEEN. I’m sorry Sean. I'm sorry cause I’m gonna beat you to it. See tonight, I'm gonna be the one to do it. Tonight, I’m gonna end Hulkamania!!! So what now Hulk, you gonna ask me what I’m gonna do? You gonna ask me what I'm gonna when hulkamania runs wild on me huh Hulk? Huh? Hogan: Nope. Hogan smacks Jindrak in the mouth as the match gets under way. Apollo’s showing was good, something he needs to maintain. Over at the WWE, Vengenance represented Vince going crazy with the show being main evented by the John Cena successfully defending his title against Khali and Umaga – so much talent on show there! HWA Home of The Immortals (Agganis Arena) Announcer - Michael Hayes Colour Commentator - Paul Wight Hayes: Ladies and gentlemen, we are hours away from HWA Time Waits For No One and with so much at stake later on tonight, every wrestler will be competing to gain some momentum. Wight: Michael, each competitor knows the importance of getting a win now. Hayes: Tonight we will see a sneak peak of the tag team match for the pay per view with Doug Basham taking on Rickey Reyes and Doug Williams, Steve Corino and Masato Tanaka will take on The New Foundation and finally Jushin Thunder Liger will take on Lance Storm in the main event. Hulk Hogan comes to the ring, clearly he’s still angry over the attack 2 weeks ago: Hogan: Sean O’Haire, Lance Storm, Perry Saturn. Since you attacked me I ain’t seen any of you in the ring. Brothers, I ain’t seen any of you venture outside. Hulk Hogan is here in the ring waiting for one of you lot to run their mouths. Sean O’Haire, you claim I’ve been holding you back well here I am, I’m here waiting for any of you lot that fancies stepping in the ring with Hulk Hogan and any of you that think you can end Hulkamania. O’Haire’s music hits as he comes out, flanked by Saturn and Storm. O’Haire: Cut the music, cut the music. Hulk Hogan, all of us three are happy to step in the ring with you, in fact all of us are happy to do it right now. But that’s not fair. That’s not fair on all the people whom are going to buy the pay per view later tonight. You see Hulk Hogan, I Sean O’Haire will face you one on one tonight at HWA Time Waits For No One. Hogan: Well that’s just fine brother but I gotta ask you, Sean O’Haire, watcha gonna do… O’Haire: Spare me. Hulk I accept this match on one condition. You see, later tonight, my colleague Lance Storm has a match against Jushin Thunder Liger. Now if, IF, I accept this match with you and if Lance wins, I get to decree what type of match we’re gonna be having. The only way you get your match is if you accept this condition. Hogan: Brother… your on!!! They take the match to their opponents. Tanaka hits Dangan Elbow on Teddy Hart and the match is over (D) and After the match Tanaka and Corino take the mikes. Tanaka: Why did I do it Spike? Why did I do it huh? I did it because, as Steve has been saying all along, you are a disgrace to hardcore wrestling. Spike, you have tarnished the legacy that the likes of me, Steve and countless others worked so hard to build up. Corino: Spike, by agreeing to face the two of us tonight in a hardcore match you have signed your death warrent. Spike, tonight you will see what it means to truely be a hardcore great... (D) Backstage we see Kelly and Shelly Martinez getting into an argument over who is the more attractive. Kelly challenges Shelly to a bikini contest for later tonight. Shelly accepts and claims she’s gonna enjoy beating Kelly (D) Apolo comes to the ring ahead of his match up, mike in hand. Apolo taunts Scott Norton ahead of his match up scheduled for the pay per view later tonight. Apolo tells the world that he’s gonna enjoy beating Scott Norton before adding without any help – a clear message to Jimmy Hart. (D) vs Apolo vs. John Walters A simple squash match to keep him looking strong going into the pay per view. Apolo dominates from start to finish. Walters sells well. Apolo delivers a thunderous chokeslam to put away his opponent. (C-) with The cameras cut backstage to show Jimmy Hart and Eric Bischoff locked in a heated argument. Bischoff: I’m gonna ask you one more time, Jimmy Hart, did you order the attack on Scott Norton? J. Hart: Eric, I know your upset player, but if you ask me that question one more time without providing a shred of evidence to back you claims up, then I will sue you for slander. Now Eric, do you have any proof? Bischoff: Ok Jimmy, I’m done with the questions, for now, but if I ever receive evidence that you were responsible for last weeks attack then I have a very special punishment all lined up for you. (C+) vsvs Doug Basham vs. Doug Williams vs Rickey Reyes A sneak peak of the title match for later on in the night. All three got in a lot of offence for each man. The tag partners of each man got involved as the match descended into chaos. As the ring cleared, Basham hit the last impression on Ricky Reyes and picked up the victory. (D+) with Christy Hemme is backstage with Jushin Thunder Liger. Hemme: Jushin, what are your thoughts about your match against Lance Storm tonight? Liger: Storm? You think that I’m bothered by that wannabe? No Christy, I’m here with you now to say one thing. Hemme: Which is? Liger: Kid Kash, I’m tired of your games. Tonight, HWA Time Waits For No One, this is your last chance. See your time is running out and if you don’t show up tonight then that’s it. I’ll pick a new challenger for my title. End of story punk, one match, your last chance to win this belt. (D+) Lance Storm is getting ready for his match up with Perry Saturn and Sean O’Haire. Storm heads to the ring with Saturn and O’Haire promising that they’ve got his back. The camera cuts to reveal Hulk Hogan, standing outside the locker room, key in hand. Hogan locks the door and barricades it with some electrical equipment – ensuring that Storm is going to be on his own in his match. Hogan smiles and then walks off. (C-) vs. Jushin Thunder Liger vs. Lance Storm They didn’t click - nuts! Liger looked dominating. Storm pulled the referee into the way of a cross body from Liger. Liger recovered and looked set to deliver the sheer-drop brainbuster to Storm. Out of nowhere Kid Kash nailed Liger from behind with a chair. Storm capitalised and locked in the maple leaf clover on Liger. Liger taps out as the referee comes to. (D) Sean O’Haire comes to the ring with a big smile on his face. O’Haire states that this victory is just the start of the fun. O’Haire announces that his match with Hulk Hogan is now a no DQ match up. O’Haire wishes Hogan good luck – he’s gonna need it! (B-) Quick Results Masato Tanaka & Steve Corino def. The New Foundation Apolo def. John Walters Doug Basham def. Rickey Reyes and Doug Williams Lance Storm def. Jushin Thunder Liger Overall the show got a D+. Bit disappointed with the main event – s*** happens I guess. Apolo did well which was pleasing. Had to limit most of the matches to save the main ones for the pay per view. Should be a decent one as well.

Confirmed Line up for HWA – Time Waits For No One With HWA Time Waits For No One just two hours away, the confirmed card for the night so far stands like this... Jushin Thunder Liger vs. Kid Kash for the HWA Top Rope Title Where better to start than with the HWA Top Rope Title match between Jushin Thunder Liger and Kid Kash. Liger, with the backing of chief executive Eric Bischoff, has announced that come the end of the show Kid Kash’s opportunity to claim his title shot will have expired. Surely Kash won’t miss this opportunity and the highly anticipated match up will finally occur at the pay per view. Apolo vs. Scott Norton Apolo will take on Scott Norton for the third and possibly final time tonight. With Norton having come out on top in both of the previous matches will this be Apolo’s chance to finally break the streak? Another interesting aspect of this match is the possible impact that Jimmy Hart will have upon the match. Although no proof has been found yet, it seems as though Hart was behind the attack of Scott Norton. With Apolo also having refused to accept Hart’s services, this could potentially have made himself a target. The Basham Brothers vs. The Havana Pitbulls vs. The United Kings of Wrestling for the HWA Tag Team Titles The tag team titles will be on the line as reigning champions The Basham Brothers take on The Havana Pitbulls and The United Kings of Wrestling. The past month has witnessed a trend of all the teams interfering in one another’s match ups. With the tag titles on the line here it’s gonna be every team for themselves with the Bashams knowing that they don’t have to be pinned to lose the titles. Masato Tanaka & Steve Corino vs. Spike in a hardcore handicap match Since his debut in the promotion Spike hasn’t had a very good time with him yet to pick up a win – will tonight be the time he turns this all around? Spike will be going up against two men who have blamed him for the collapse of ECW, Masato Tanaka and Steve Corino. Corino had, until recently been leading a personal crusade to destroy Spike and recently found an ally in another former ECW worker, Masato Tanaka. In a two on one hardcore handicap match, surely the numbers game will be too much for Spike. Hulk Hogan vs. Sean O'Haire in a no DQ rules match If all that wasn’t enough, the show will be headlined by Sean O’Haire taking on the immortal Hulk Hogan in a no DQ match up. O’Haire has promised that he will end hulkamania once and for all – will this be the night? With the no DQ rules, O’Haire’s buddies Storm and Saturn will be able to interfere in the match in any way that they want to. Does Hulk have a plan up his sleeve or has he signed his death warrant in agreeing to O’Haire’s conditions? Is this O’Haire’s night to shine or will Hulkamania still be running strong come the end of the show? Confirmed Matches HWA Top Rope Title Match: Jushin Thunder Liger (c) vs. Kid Kash Apolo vs. Scott Norton HWA Tag Team Title Match:The Basham Brothers (c) vs. The Havana Pitbulls vs. The UK of Wrestling Masata Tanaka & Steve Corino vs. Spike (hardcore handicap match) Hulk Hogan vs. Sean O’Haire All predicitons are welcome

HWA Top Rope Title Match: Jushin Thunder Liger (c) vs. Kid Kash-Why would you ever let Kash beat Liger? Why? Apolo vs. Scott Norton-This one interests me. I would say Hart gets involved. HWA Tag Team Title Match:The Basham Brothers (c) vs. The Havana Pitbulls vs. The UK of Wrestling-I like UK, Don't know why. Masata Tanaka & Steve Corino vs. Spike (hardcore handicap match)-Spike has balls, but no chance. Hulk Hogan vs. Sean O’Haire-Hogan is almost done, No reason to hurt Sean's momentum. Small Card? You should raid ROH :( and get some new blood that can have a good match.

HWA Time Waits For No One (Agganis Arena) Announcer - Michael Hayes Colour Commentator - Paul 'The Show' Wight with and First out is Eric Bischoff accompanied by Kelly and Shelly Martinez. The two strip off and do there thing whilst the crowd cheers. Bischoff announces that the winner is Kelly, much to Shelly’s annoyance. Bischoff, seeing that Shelly is upset gives her a chance to get some pride back. Later tonight Kelly and Shelly will be involved in a wrestling match. Both divas will select a representative whom will both wrestle on their behalf. (C-) vsvs The Basham Brothers vs. The Havana Pitbulls vs. The United Kings of Wrestling (for the HWA Tag Team titles) An average opener and all these teams are capable of better. The Bashams get the early advantage clearing the ring. The UK fight back and are soon on top. The Pitbulls try to get involved only to be taken out by both the Bashams and the UK. This leaves a fight between the champions and the UK. Eventually, Doug Williams hits the chaos theory on Doug Basham. Williams goes for the cover whilst McGuiness holds Danny down. 1,2,3. The United Kings of Wrestling are the new tag team champions. (D) with Backstage we see Kelly approach Billy Kidman, asking him to be her representative in the match later tonight. Kidman accepts the invitation. (E+) vs Apolo vs. Scott Norton A move between two big hitters, focusing on the brawling aspect of wrestling. Apolo gets the early advantage, pushing Norton into the corner. Norton powers out of the corner and slams Apolo to the mat. Norton sets Apolo up for a powerbomb. Apolo reverses with a kick to the stomach. Apolo hoists Norton up and delivers a massive chokeslam to Norton. Apolo wins the match and without any interference. (C-) After the match is over Jimmy Hart comes to the ring. Hart once again delivers Apolo with a choice. Before Apolo can answer Norton gets to his feet and pushes Hart over. Out of nowhere Apolo clotheslines Norton. This is the cue for two huge monsters to storm the ring and start beating the hell out of Scott Norton, with Apolo joining in. After the beating is over Jimmy Hart gets on the loud speaker and introduces the crowd to his associates Nathan Jones and Rosee and his newest client – Apolo! (D+) with Backstage, Hulk Hogan is interviewed by Christy Hemme. Hemme: Hulk Hogan, tonight you go into a match against Sean O’Haire. What are your thoughts on the match and the fact that it will be a no DQ match up. Hogan: Christy, what are my thoughts? My thoughts are that tonight I’m gonna destroy Sean O’Haire. DQ or no DQ I don’t care. Sean O’Haire, brother, by the time I’m done with you, your gonna be wishing you’d never agreed to appear tonight. Sean O’Haire, watcha gonna do when you realise the error you have made? Watcha gonna do when you see that a no disqualification match up is exactly what I want. Sean O’Haire, watcha gonna do, when hulkamania runs wild on you? (A) Billy Kidman w/ Kelly vs. Nicho El Millionairo w/ Shelly Martinez When Shelly introduced her representative as former WWE star Nicho which got a fair reaction from the crowd. A very decent bonus match. Two exceptional high fliers going at it. In a very open match, Kidman just about got the advantage. Kidman went for the shooting star press and picked up the victory. Kidman celebrated as Kelly planted a massive kiss on him whilst Martinez looked on unamused. (C-) Jushin Thunder Liger comes to the ring and challenges Kid Kash to come out and fight him for the title. Kash no shows so Liger announces that Kash has missed his opportunity and unveils the replacement challenger, as chosen by chief executive Eric Bischoff, – Jody Fleisch. (D) vs Jody Fleisch vs. Jushin Thunder Liger for the HWA Top Rope Title Liger fighting his second match of the night started to look tired toward the end. Despite this he still looked strong and put Fleisch away with a shotei. Liger makes the second defence of his title reign. (C-) Kid Kash comes out and announces that, despite Eric Bischoff’s interference, his title shot is valid for the whole night. Kash announces that the title match will be up next and it will be a ladder match! (D-) vs Jushin Thunder Liger vs. Kid Kash for the HWA Top Rope Title (ladder match) Liger was clearly struggling to keep going. Despite Liger’s fatigue he kept fighting to the end. The two competitors put on a great match together. Kash the fresher of the men, made it to the top of the ladder. Liger climbed to the top of the ladder as well. Kash and Liger traded blows. Kash eventually sent Liger crashing to the mat. Kash reached up, grabbed the title and became the new champion. (C+) The camera cut backstage to where Sean O’Haire, Lance Storm and Perry Saturn are talking backstage. Spike got in absolutely no offence with his opponents toying with him. Half way through the match… “Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah”. Bischoff: Ladies and Gentlemen, let me introduce you to Spike’s tag team partner … The Messiah!!! The Messiah comes in on fire destroying Corino and Tanaka. The Messiah slams them both through tables. The Messiah covers them both and picks up the debut victory. (D+) After the match The Messiah picks up the microphone… The Messiah: Ladies and gentlemen, the saviour of hardcore wrestling has arrived. Steve Corino, Masato Tanaka, you aren’t hardcore icons. You don’t know the meaning of extreme. Tanaka, Corino, a new force in hardcore has arrived and I ain’t going anywhere! O’Haire’s henchmen stormed the ring midway through Hogan was getting the beating of a life time by O’Haire, Storm and Saturn. “Sorry Michael but somethings gotta be done…” Show stormed the ring with a double clothesline to Storm and Saturn and throws O’Haire out of the ring. Hogan was still down and lifeless. Show delivered a double chokeslam to Storm and Saturn. Hogan was starting to come to as Show looked fired up. O’Haire wasn’t done though. O’Haire nailed Show from behind with a sledgehammer. O’Haire turned his attention to Hogan. O’Haire waited for Hogan to get up before nailing him with the sledgehammer. O’Haire picked him up and delivered the widow maker to Hogan. 1,2,3 O’Haire has beaten Hulk Hogan!!! (C) Quick Results The United Kings of Wrestling def. Nick Mondo would be sweet =) But more imortantly im assuming Hogan doesn't have creative control because I can't even get him to lose by DQ to people like Sting and you have him losing to O'Haire. Not that I mind I'd be happy to see Hogan lose to Berry Harrowtiz just cant believe he went along with it.
