Hinote Dojo: Going Solo! (C-Verse)

Recommended Posts

It's probably just because I made the render, but I find myself rooting for Amane Shunsen each time, although I'm a little surprised he and Arinori Inoguchi only put together an E match. Was either off their game? Also whilst I know it's just eyecandy, I like the Beginnings Tour banner.

These three young guys proved throughout the last few months that they deserve to be part of tonight’s show. They did great and put the standard high for this show. The match was won by Cameron Vessey who is now returning to his homeland, America. There is a possibility he will join us again on our next tour, if he hasn’t signed a written contract somewhere by then. Winner: Cameron Vessey Time: 6:54 Rating: D
MYSTIC Dragon vs. Shirai Yanagawa This was clearly the worst match of the night. The lack of experience by both men played a major role in it. There was a lack of flow throughout the whole match. You could hear both guys think what to do next. Lucky for them a match doesn’t make a tour as they’ve both proven they can wrestle in the last few months. Especially Yanagawa who has only been defeated twice this tour, including this match, which is quite an achievement. So I think it’s fair to say this tour lasted a day too long for these two fellas. Winner: MYSTIC Dragon Time: 7:31 Rating: E
Brother Yoshi Taka vs. Yatsuhiro Atsushi A match between two established wrestlers. They’re both good enough to make a decent midcard match. They managed to match the opening bout’s quality. The match was won by Atsushi who has dominated our midcard the past two months. Brother Yoshi Taka has risen back to the level he belongs as he was in some sort of a dip before this tour. He managed to get back to the upper regions of our roster. Winner: Yatsuhiro Atsushi Time: 10:25 Rating: D
Reijiro Hiraki vs. SUKI The rematch everyone had been waiting for, the battle between two young talented super juniors. A great mix of technical wrestling and high speed moves. This match was as good as the previous one they had, so we can call this a success. Wrestling-wise this was probably the match of the night, but people cared more for the main event so let’s call it a shared match of the night. The rematch didn’t have the same winner as their previous match as this one was won by Reijiro Hiraki who won his first match of the tour tonight and there’s no one who will disagree about him not deserving it. Winner: Reijiro Hiraki Time: 10:59 Rating: C-
Hinote Dojo All-Japan Championship Match: Heihachiro Sakai (c) vs. Hidekazu Finally the challenger Hidekazu made his entrance, meaning that the main event was about to start. When the champion made his way to the ring people were applauding him. The battle between two undefeated wrestlers managed to fulfill its expectations although critics thought they could do better. Heihachiro Sakai managed to defend his title with success once again, but he didn’t have a quiet evening. Hidekazu probably gave him his hardest night of the tour, but even Hidekazu fell victim to the feared Sakai Suplex. Winner: Heihachiro Sakai Time: 13:36 Rating: C-
Final Show Rating: D+
NOTE: I let the road agent decide the winners of the first two matches.

He defended that title no less than six times! His matches were always of high quality, with a minimum of D+, an average of C- and a maximum of C. This means he is truly worthy of carrying that belt as no one has done better than him. He has ensured his roster spot on our next tour. Runner Up: SUKI Most Improved Wrestler of the Tour: Masakazu Kaima Despite having won only one single match this 21 year old wrestler has shown he’s ready to take his career to the next level. He paid his dues and will certainly be rewarded on one of our next tours with some nice matches. 2007 - May - Week 1 - Monday
Four-Monthly Wrestling World Report January - February - March - April USA SWF: Runaway Train is still the SWF World Heavyweight Champion and he’s doing very good job. His matches are usually the best ones on the show, although Remo is making quite a name for himself as well a bit down the card. SWF’s shows aren’t as good as they once used to be (C+ average), but they’re still watchable. Perhaps some of their newest acquisitions can turn an ok show into a good one. People expect a lot from cult favorite Jim Force. Other signings are Puerto Rican Power and Darryl Devine. SWF also let someone go as they didn’t extend Enygma’s contract. TCW: Up at TCW Tommy Cornell is still calling the shots. He still carries the TCW World Heavyweight Championship with him. As expected his is the MVP on most shows but recently BLZ Bubb and Troy Tornado are on a roll as well. TCW’s shows are good as well, sometimes even better than SWF’s shows. They have as well hired a buckload of wrestlers as American Elemental, Jack Griffith and Corporal Doom have all joined their ranks. DAVE: DAVE is doing good as well. They manage to keep up with SWF and TCW from time to time. The main thing they lack is someone who really stands out, someone who can carry the promotion. Eddie Peak, their champion isn’t really the man for that. His performances don’t outclass the other ones, so DAVE might have to look for a new guy to carry that belt. Eric Tyler seems to be the most suitable option at the moment. There were talks of getting Ernie Turner in the promotion but he signed a developmental deal with SWF so that didn’t go through. They have also lost a big team in their tag division as Dean McWade has signed a written deal with NOTBPW and thus Dallas is wrestling in the singles division now. It’s only a matter of time before he receives a written deal with NOTBPW as well though. To make up for the loss DAVE signed The Natural, who now works for three different promotions. USPW: USPW isn’t doing great. The first week of February they lost their TV slot and thus they step back to a monthly show schedule. Another huge factor is them losing Jim Force. Their merchandise sales are expected to drop severely. They haven’t signed a replacement yet as there is no one that can replace the force. Their shows are getting a bit better though now they do monthly shows again. Their last one was the best one yet (C-). Indies: There is no promotion that really stands out as doing great or doing poor. They’re all putting up OK shows with the resources they have. The most notable thing is that MAW has risen to small size. Some interesting signings have been made on the indy scene in the last four months. First of all Mario Heroic has now added CZCW to his commitments. He already wrestles for SOTBPW as well. CZCW has also lost one of their most talented wrestlers as Frankie Perez has signed a written deal with the Canadian promotion NOTBPW. NYCW has had pretty much signings and departures. Those who left the promotion are Roger Dodger (RIPW) and Black Hat Bailey, their head booker. Those who have joined NYCW are Jungle Jack Marlowe, Fumihiro Ota and Matt Sparrow. They also had to look for a new booker after Black Hat Bailey left and Wanda Fish has been chosen for that. Another thing concerning NYCW is that the Stomper officially retired from wrestling. Then there’s still RIPW of course. Shane Sneer has become their new booker. There are also two active wrestlers that have been sent to them by SWF. Those are Roger Dodger and Ernie Turner. Both were lucky enough to sign a developmental deal with SWF. Then there are the feminine promotions of course where nothing has happened that was worth the mention.
2007 - May - Week 1 - Monday
Four-Monthly Wrestling World Report January - February - March - April CANADA NOTBPW: It’s now nearly one year ago that Sean McFly won the Canadian title from Dan Stone Jr. Now it’s already one of the longest reigns in NOTBPW’s history. The record is still owned by Haruki Kudo who held the belt for over 1 year and 7 months. McFly is doing great as a champion as the shows he participates in (B+) are always a few grades higher than the other shows (B-). NOTBPW has been very active on the transfer market as no less than 6 people have joined them the last couple of months. Those 6 are ‘Shooter’ Sean Deeley, Frankie Dee, Whippy The Clown, Frankie Perez, Joey Poison and Jacob Jett. Deeley has been the best debutant as he is now NOTBPW Unlimited Action Champion. Another thing worth mentioning is that Jeremy and Dan Stone Jr. have won the Ed Henson Memorial Cup for the third time. CGC: CGC has lost some of their most talented wrestlers to NOTBPW as Sean Deeley and Whippy The Clown both jumped ship. Due to Deeley leaving the CGC Canadian title changed hands to Eddie Chandler who just recently lost it again to Shane Nelson, who now owns both the Canadian and the World Tag Team Titles. CGC’s shows have been ok so far (C average) but they simply can’t compete with NOTBPW’s shows. They as well have signed quite a bunch new talent to their roster as Joey Poison, Mick Muscles, Derek Frost and The Natural have joined them. Even Jim Force has had a short stint with them before going to SWF. Indies: The Canadian Indy scene has changed somewhat the last couple of months as a new women’s promotion opened its doors. It’s called the Canadian Women’s Wrestling Federation (CWWF). Their shows are somewhat similar to 4C’s ones only that it’s with women. The most popular people they have working for them are Cherry Bomb, Grace Harper, Principessa and Wanda Fish. Their very first World Heavyweight Champion is Cherry Bomb. Then there’s always 4C of course. They have lost two of their stars in Jacob Jett and Darryl Devine, but have also been active signing people. Citizen X, Trent Shaffer and Remmy Skye have joined them.
