LFC: We Got Next!
I actually thought when i saw LFC, that you were doing London Fighting Championship from the new promotions file.. Nice nab for the logo.. Think you should push Amber Allen and Jaime Quine to main event, but then again, im biased
hehe it'll work for now. It was either that or recycle the WCW logo. I'm probably going to put my l33t (non-existent) Photoshop skills to use though. You and J Silver with your damn banners and crap. :( As for Jaime & Amber, patience, patience. Ingame, I'm in July so I have a lot more shows to put up. You might be surprised (or not :p).
Color me impressed this is pretty good you know I want my girl Joanne to be champion some day though.
J.Ro as champion. That's got a nice ring to it. :) Once I get done with the "establishing characters" part, anything's possible.

No promises but if i get a free moment from my renders i could try knock up a LFC logo

(F+) Main Show - The show begins with the customary burst of pyro as Emma Chase stands by in the ring with a mic. Emma: "Last month, history was made as LFC was born with its first show. And what a show it was! And while all of the girls back there laid it all on the line and worked their hearts out, at the end of the night, twas but one who stood tall. Ladies & Gentlemen, I present to you, my client and my friend, your LFC World champion.......Kimmy Bentsen!" (C-) The arena explodes as the Jumbotron shows a montage of images from last month's title match as Kimmy's theme song ('Click-Click-Boom' by Saliva) blares through the speakers. Kimmy comes through the curtain and stands at the top of the ramp surveying the crowd as an immense amount of pyro goes off. She takes the walk to the ring slowly before climbing in and hugging Emma before raising the LFC World title above her head. she grabs a mic and waves the crowd to calm before saying: "Thank you! I...." Then Wanda Fish's music hits as the champ looks visibly annoyed. Wanda expresses her distate for the way Kimmy "stole" the title last month. The two go back and forth before Kimmy says, "Wanda, Wanda, Wanda. Always what you want, isn't it? You had the same chance I did as J.Ro did as Suzanne did to win this title. In fact, you and your friends looked like you had a plan to do it. But in the end, your greed was your undoing. So yeah, I'll give you a shot at the title....once you prove you deserve it." (D+) vs [IMG]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v291/Kension/Misc/LFC%20Diary/OliviaDiamond.jpg[/IMG] Team Griffon vs. High Energy Quick match between two young teams that saw Sara Marie York pick up the win for her team with an Energy Burst on Ginko. Ended when Angel hit the Angel's Wings and got the pin with her feet on the ropes. Winner: Angel Takudome (E) A video plays showing Mary Beth Chase engaged in several feats of strength. The video ends with a close shot of the statuesque Monique saying, "She's coming...." and a graphic flashing "Spring Fling 2008". The last half of the match went back anf forth with Tracy Brendon isolated in the bad part of town. After a short rally, she was finally able to roll out and make the tag to her big sister. Michelle cleaned house before planting Amber with an Arrow Suplex she dubbed the Bomb from Boise. But when she makes the pin, the ref's been distracted by Eve Grunge. Tracy leaves her corner to deal with Eve, leaving Michelle wide open to take a Superkick from Stephanie, right in the mush. Amber pokes the ref and makes the casual cover for the 1...2....3, and the titles! Winners and NEW LFC World Tag Team champions: The Ice Queens (E+) The Ice Queens celebrate with their manager, Jenny Playmate, as the Brendons stare at Eve Grunge as she backs up the ramp with a smug look on her face. (E+) vs The Mighty Quines vs Lilly & Rose The Quine sisters went to work on Kate Lilly, working her legs in an attempt to ground her. Twelve minutes in and Kate had absorbed an immense amount of punishment at the hands of the Quines. When she finally managed to get to her corner, Kristen Pearce interjected herself, distracting the ref who didn't see the tag and thus, ordered Debbie Rose back to the apron. With an evil grin, Catherine signaled for the end as Kristen again climbed the apron and distracted the ref just long enough for Jaime to hit the KO Kick on Kate followed by Catherine rolling her up in the Cat's Cradle for the pinfall victory. Winners: The Mighty Quines (D-) vs Devil's Daughter vs Joanne Rodriguez The match almost fell apart until J.Ro managed to take control and reset the pace. Double D fought valiantly, using every trick in her and Karen Killer's books, but there was no stopping the Latina Sensation. After slipping out of an attempt at the Going Down Below, J.Ro hit the J-Rocker to make it academic. Winner: Joanne Rodriguez (D+) The cameras cut to a locker room backstage to find Cherry Bomb and Wanda Fish arguing. Cherry Bomb: "What the hell was that? You cost us the title!" Wanda: "Look, call it an error in judgement. I saw the chance to get the title and the only thing standing between me and it was you. You would've done the exact same thing if the roles were reversed." Cherry Bomb: "No, I wouldn't have. But maybe that's why I'm not a FOUR TIME, FOUR TIME, FOUR TIME Triple A Femme Fatale champion." Wanda Fish & Catherine Quine (in unison): "Probably." Just before things heat up any further, Kristen Pearce walks up and says, "The hell is wrong with you three? We need to be focused if we're going to get that title back" Willow, standing outside the door eavesdropping, smirks and walks away. (E-) vs Cherry Bomb vs. Suzanne Brazzle Cherry Bomb comes to the ring looking visibly perturbed and commences to take out her frustration on Suzanne. But after missing a lariat attempt, she finds herself on the defensive. After reversing an irish whip attempt, she tries to take Suzanne's head off with another lariat, only to have it ducked and find herself on the receiving end of a trio of german suplexes. Suzanne signals to the crowd for the Brazzle Dazzle and waits as Cherry Bomb slowly rises to her feet. Then a petite, impeccably dressed blond woman sprints down the ramp, distracting the ref momentarily. Just enough time bought for her to gather her wits, block the Brazzle Dazzle and deliver a resounding clothesline to the back of Suzanne's head, generating a "Oooooooh" from the crowd. She then makes the "bada-bing" motion, signaling the end before lifting and blasting Suzanne to the mat with the appropriately named Cherry Bomb. Winner: Cherry Bomb (D+) The show ends with Cherry Bomb staring at Willow walking up the ramp with a confused look on her face. (F+) Overall: D+ Buyrate: 0.25 Post-show notes: - More seeds planted, though at least one will have to grow quick (bad chemistry)

Following our first two shows, our phones were ringing off the hook with inquiries on open spots on the roster. While I couldn't justify bringing in everyone and I still had my eye on several talents in Japan (assuming they'd agree to get work visas and fly in), I did make a few moves to try to find more sparks.
Wrestling.com: Ladies Fighting Championship has announced the signings of the following workers to short-term, tryout contracts: -Susan Lee -Mitsu Ariwa -Seiko Nanami -Chiyeko Kita -Nene Ebina All five ladies will make their debuts at the next LFC event, Spring Fling!
Chiyeko Kita by pinfall. (D-) Rebecca Petty d. Mitsu Ariwa by pinfall (F+) Britney Hollywood d. Angel Takudome by pinfall with the Hollywood Minute. (E+) Main Show The show opens with a performance by Novacaine, performing a remake of "Let's Get Rocked" by some obscure British band. :p (E+) We're then taken to ringside as Kimmy Bentsen is in the ring with a mic, alongside Emma Chase who is holding the LFC World title. Kimmy: "Good evening, San Antone!" *the crowd pops* "You've probably heard about us but we decided, what better way to give the fans what they want than to bring the show right to their backyard." *an L-F-C chant starts to rise from the crowd* Kimmy hands the mic to Emma and takes the LFC World title and drapes it over her shoulder. Emma: "All you fans are right. This is LFC, and standing next to me is your LFC World champion....." Unfamiliar music begins to play as Kimmy and Emma look confusedly at each other as April Appleseed comes out, mic in hand. April: "You know, I'm getting sick and tired of you two coming out here every show with those same old tired lines. Is this what America has come to? No wonder I moved to Canada!" *the crowd boos* "Look, you've held that title since the first show but how many times have you defended it? I think it's because you know that anybody in that locker room could take it from you with no effort at all." Kimmy: "Izzat so?" April: "That's so!" Kimmy: "You know, you might be right. I am a little rusty. So where's what I'm gonna do. I'm going to give you the opportunity of a lifetime. YOU get to be the one to "take the title from me with no effort at all". Tonight." *the crowd pops* (C+) Steve Smith: "Well I guess we have a main event." Sam Rodriguez: "Yeah, and we'll have a new champ too." The cameras cut backstage to Kate Lilly & Debbie Rose being interviewed by Melanie Florence. Kate says, "Last month, I got my ass handed to me but I learned something. It's not a good idea to go without representation." Debbie interjects, "Yeah, so we went and found ourselves a manager. Someone to guide our careers as we head to the World Tag Team titles. We'd like to introduce you to her now...." at which point, Melanie swivels so she's standing between Debbie & Kate. Melanie says, "Ta-da!" (E+) vs Lilly & Rose w/Melanie Florence vs Miss Information & Geena the Warrior Princess Hello clashing styles! This match was a glorified squash as Kate and Debbie came out on fire. After a dizzying amount of aerial maneuvers, the girls brought the match to a close by debuting their new team finisher, the HydroPlant (Double Shiranui). Winners: Lilly & Rose (D-) The camera cuts backstage to see Willow approaching a door with a pattern of a pair of interlocking cherries on it. She knocks and a familiar voice says, "Come in". The end comes when Jen hits the Neptune's Orbit on Roz as Kathy and Ginko brawl outside the ring. Winners: The Neptune Twins (E+) We cut to backstage as Stacy Strong is standing by with Willow. Willow says, "I'm relatively new to LFC so I've been working the past few months, finding a way to make an impact. I've offered my services to several of this promotion's top performers and I think I've assembled the best of the best. Ladies?". Agent 69 & Nadia Snow, collectively known as MI:6, step into the shot. "The future World Tag Team champions and, to hedge my bets and solidify my power base here in LFC, I have recently signed the two most powerful, resilient, and capable members in this promotion...." to which April Appleseed steps into the shot. Stacy says, "Wait, you said two...." before Cherry Bomb steps forward. Cherry Bomb looks into the camera and simply says, "BOOM!" (D) vs Blade Dancers vs MI:6 w/Willow Some very good wrestling displayed in spurts in this match. Willow interjected herself early and often before the referee got fed up and ejected her from ringside. From that point on, it was all Carol & Paige, all the time. The match was brought to a close swiftly as they hit the Dance of the Blade on Nadia for the pinfall victory. Winners: Blade Dancers (E+) Ladder Match for the LFC Television title vsvsvsvsvs Susan Lee vs Nene Ebina vs Connie Morris vs Jaime Quine vs Christina Charisma vs Mary Beth Chase The match started off with the powerhouses MBC, Susan, and Nene going to work on the more aerially oriented three. That is, until Jaime laid Susan out with a KO Kick. Nene hit a long series of stiff shots to Connie's head and body, leaving her collapsed in a corner, while Christina went for a ladder. While trying to push it into the ring, she took a baseball slide right in the mush from Jaime. Nene, MBC, and Jaime then squared off with the folded ladder in the center of the ring. The two powerfully built women got on the same page for a moment, whipping Jamie into the ropes. She responded with a double springboard back elbow on Nene & MBC but landed back first on the collapsed ladder. With the three women down, Connie Morris saw her chance. Rolling Jaime off the ladder, she tried to quickly get it set up....before taking a belly to back suplex from Christina. Monique interjected herself in the match by shaking MBC to her senses and pointing to Nene climbing the ladder. MBC scrambled up the ladder and took Nene (and herself) out with a Samoan drop from the midpoint of the ladder. It was at this point that Susan Lee came to and, seeing the other women sprawled in and around the ring, saw her chance. But as she ran toward the ladder, she once again found herself on the receiving end of a KO Kick. At this point, the end was academic as Jaime Quine climbs the ladder and retrieves the gold hanging high above the ring. Winner and NEW LFC Television champion: Jaime Quine (E+) While standing in the middle of the ring, holding her title high, familiar music starts up as the camera pans to the top of the ramp to find Kristen Pearce, Catherine Quine, and Wanda Fish standing there applauding. But while Michelle & Amber brawled outside the ring, Jenny Playmate interrupted the ref's count by distracting him, allowing Stephanie to drop Michelle with a Superkick. Amber then rolled Michelle into the ring, flapjacked a charging Tracy and made the pin for the successful defense. Winners: Ice Queens (D-) vs Gorgon started the match off dominating Suzanne Brazzle. Spinebusters, suplexes, powerslams, the works. But with a talent like Suzanne, you can't afford to make too many mistakes and Gorgon made the biggest one of all: she let her out of her grasp. Final sequence saw Suzanne land a dropkick to the bigger woman, followed immediately by a bulldog and an elbow drop. She then signaled to the crowd that the end was near. As Gorgon struggled to her feet......bang! Brazzle Dazzle, 1...2....3! Winner: Suzanne Brazzle (D+) Cherry Bomb is backstage with Willow, being interviewed by Stacy Strong. "Who am I up against again?" Stacy says, "Candy Fl...." "It doesn't matter who it is! If she doesn't wear gold around her waist, she means nothing to me. Y'see, there's only one person in my crosshairs. Kimmy, your time with that belt is borrowed. Sooner or later, you're going to get tired of running. Sooner or later, you're going to have to look me in the eye in the middle of that ring. SOONER OR LATER, you are going to have to face the fact that you are not championship material. The Bomb, on the other hand.....IS." (D) vs Candy Floss vs Cherry Bomb w/Willow Why did I put a squash match this far up the card? Anyway, the match's result was never in question. Cherry Bomb finally ended it with the Cherry Popper (Muta lock) locked in on Candy who was forced to tap out. Winner: Cherry Bomb (D-) vs Devil's Daughter w/Karen Killer vs Catherine Quine w/Kristen Pearce Very good match that saw the veteran Catherine use every dirty trick in her arsenal to gain the upper hand. After several near falls (and Double D sitting up after each one), Catherine was frustrated. Finish came when Kristen slid something in to Catherine behind the ref's back (a roll of quarters) and, after trying a roundhouse punch, Double D ducked it and locked in the Going Down Below. Catherine taps! Catherine taps! Winner: Devil's Daughter (D) vs Joanne Rodriguez vs Wanda Fish w/Kristen Pearce Umm, wow. From the opening bell, these two ladies went at each other like a pair of pitbulls in a backyard fight. Back and forth the momentum swung like a pendulum....until the X-factor made her presence felt. Distracting the ref on two occasions, Kristen allowed Wanda to put an end to every sustained offensive sequence J.Ro tried. Finish came when, as both competitors seemed out on their feet, J.Ro went for the J-Rocker which Wanda spun out of and hit the Dish of the Day from out of nowhere for the pinfall. Winner: Wanda Fish (C-) vs April Appleseed w/Willow vs Kimmy Bentsen w/Emma Chase While this was a match made primarily to showcase Kimmy's all-around game, April brought it. She tried to take the champ to her limits but couldn't seal the deal. Finish came when Kimmy countered a German Suplex attempt by April into a cross kneelock in the center of the ring. While April screamed at the top of her lungs but before she tapped, Cherry Bomb ran in and attacked the champion, drawing the DQ. Winner: Kimmy Bentsen by DQ (C-) The show comes to a close with Cherry Bomb, April Appleseed, Agent 69 and Nadia Snow beating down the champion while Emma Chase is nowhere to be found. That is, until she runs back to the ring with J.Ro and Suzanne Brazzle who send the heels running. (D) Overall rating: D+ Buyrate: 0.26 Post-show notes: -Card ratings are somewhat disappointing but the rising buyrate tells me we're making progress. -I really hope the midcard shapes up a little bit quicker than it has.
Girls Bringin' It In The Ring by BIG MACK MIKE First, let me admit that I'm a pig. Chicks rolling around in the ring has never appealed to me unless there was jello or oil or mud involved. I've seen the Japanese girls do their thing and while it might be decent, Runaway Train vs Christian Faith is always better. I've also seen the stuff AAA is doing up in Washington and it just seems to me like they're trying too hard to be 'SWF with Girls'. But this new outfit, down in Florida, Ladies Fighting Championship, they're...different. First off, they're run by that girl who won that big lotto jackpot a year or so ago, Kimmy Bentsen. And while they use a lot of the same workers AAA does, they also have a bunch of new girls I've never heard of. Girls like Amber Allen, Ashley Grover, Shiori Jippensha, Kate Lilly and Debbie Rose are names that aren't well known, even in women's wrestling circles, but they're getting big time mainstream exposure being attached to this promotion. Also, I've heard that there's a lot of insider activity with people getting their trainees and protegés hired. For example, the head booker of SWF, Farrah Hesketh, trained Ashley Grover. Veteran women's grappler Wanda Fish, a fixture in AAA, trained Debbie Rose. And let's not forget Catherine Quine, the head booker over at AAA, who came over to LFC with her stepsister Jaime and her protegé who was once the receptionist over at AAA and one of their 'future stars' but was released last year during Anne Stardust's roster cleaning, Wendy Anderson. It seems the future of the women's game is all gathering in one place and it happens to be the most talked about promotion in the world right now. With good reason too, these girls can really entertain. Not in that Babes of Sin City way, but they can really wrestle. What sets them apart from the other promotions is that they maintain a really good balance between hard hitting ("stiff", in smark terms) in-ring action and some fairly good entertainment segments to give the crowd breathing room. But one thing that really makes them different is the fact that the owner is probably the best worker on the roster. The world hasn't seen that happen since INSPIRE opened up (and TCW before that). Usually, you have some has been worker open a promotion and try to make people think they've still "got it" when the truth is, they never had "it" to begin with. If there is any doubt that this is the case, just look at the footage from the very first show LFC put on. Before I saw that match, I would've sworn that there were only two people in the world who could do a double corkscrew plancha: Emerald Angel of WLW and American Elemental over in TCW. But this girl did it without any real effort even. The problems that I see with their product now is they're falling into the same trap that the men's promotions do. With only one top tier star, there's always the temptation to put your "next big thing" over that star in the hopes of people taking to that new talent. Given the age of their top tier star (she's only 23!!!) and the lack of miles on her (LFC's first show....was her first show!), that might not be the best way to go for these girls. But given the industry heavyweights she has on her payroll (tell me if names like Heidi Brooks, Preston Holt, and Chief Two Eagles don't ring a bell), I don't see that necessarily being the case. For right now, I'm saying LFC is the promotion to watch. And not just for the inevitable wardrobe malfunction! All they need now is a TV deal and everyone will know who they are within the next six months!
(Continued)

That is, until Willow got involved. Distracting the ref long enough for Agent 69 to make use of the ring bell, allowed MI:6 to get the pinfall. Winner: MI:6 (E+) [IMG]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v291/Kension/Misc/LFC%20Diary/OliviaDiamond.jpg[/IMG]vs High Energy vs Ice Queens w/Jenny Playmate Match warmed up slowly, with both teams being a bit more cautious than usual. Finish came when, with all four women fighting in the ring, Olivia Diamond tried for the Diamond Cutter on Stephanie Wade which was blocked as Olivia was shoved out of the ring. Sara Marie York then hit the Energy Burst on Amber Allen. Unfortunately, Amber wasn't the legal person and Sara Marie soon got a face full of Superkick and the L. Winners and STILL champions: Ice Queens (D) vs Candy Floss vs. Jaime Quine w/Kristen Pearce This match really showcased Jaime's potential. Peppering Candy with stiff kicks and punches, she barely allowed Candy a chance to leave the gate. Aside from a dropkick-clothesline series of offense, the result was never in question. Jaime finally ended it with a KO Kick. Winner and STILL champion: Jaime Quine (E+) The camera cuts backstage to find Wanda Fish & Catherine Quine standing by with Stacy Strong. Wanda says, "Tonight, we have to deal with some so-called "rising stars". Pffft. Debbie Rose, I taught you everything you know and what do you do? The same thing all kids do. You rebel. Well, tonight, the rebellion ends with a good ass-kickin'. Just like it should be. You and your little girlfriend." Catherine interjects, "How's the old saying go? Spare the rod....". Wanda finishes her thought, "...spoil the child." (D+) vs Lilly & Rose w/Melanie Florence vs Catherine Quine & Wanda Fish w/Kristen Pearce Better than expected match result. Trying to get the midcarders some shine and they surprise me. Having taken Quine & Fish almost to their limit, Kristen Pearce interjects herself into the match, drawing the ire of Melanie Florence (cat fight!!!) which got a pop from the crowd. But in the end, following a Dish of the Day, Debbie Rose takes the pin with a Cat's Cradle. Winners: Catherine Quine & Wanda Fish (D) The cameras go backstage where Cherry Bomb and Willow are standing by with Stacy Strong. Cherry Bomb says, "Tonight, you all will bear witness to a new revolution. A new era will begin in LFC when I finally ascend to my rightful place as world champion. Over the next few months, you'll see my crew, The Bomb Squad, led by the oh-so-devious Willow, take the remaining titles this promotion possesses. Feast your eyes on MI:6, your next World Tag Team champions. Have a gander at April Appleseed, your next Television champion. And last, but certainly not least, the Bomb, BOOM!, your new LFC World champion." The segment ends with Agent 69, Nadia Snow, April Appleseed, and finally Willow, looking straight into the camera and saying, "BOOM!". (D-) vs April Appleseed w/Willow vs. Joanne Rodriguez Even matchup that went back and forth with several near falls. That is, until J.Ro hit the J-Rocker and MI:6 runs in and clobbers her, drawing the DQ. Winner: Joanne Rodriguez by DQ (C-) After the match, the beatdown continues as Willow commands her crew to punish J.Ro. That is, until Suzanne Brazzle runs in to send the heels packin'. (D+) vs Devil's Daughter w/ Karen Killer vs Suzanne Brazzle Already fired up following the previous segment, Double D didn't stand much of a chance against Suzanne. While she had a good, sustained period of offense during the match's midpoint, Suzanne fought out of an abdominal stretch and the Brazzle Dazzle hit for the victory. Winner: Suzanne Brazzle (D+) The cameras again cut backstage where Stacy Strong is standing by with LFC World champion Kimmy Bentsen, who is pacing back and forth obviously agitated, and Emma Chase. Emma: "Cherry Bomb, I have to say it's typical of you. You can't beat Kimmy one-on-one, so you assemble a group of misfits to help you accomplish that which you can't on your own. But, you made a crucial mistake. You made the current champion angry...." Kimmy: "Bomb, I'm gonna tell you one time and one time only. Keep your nose out of my business. Right now, you and I have a date. You want this title? You beat me for it. At the moment, I don't like your odds." (D+) vs Cherry Bomb w/Willow vs Kimmy Bentsen w/Emma Chase Our main event of the night and wow, what a main event it was. Cherry Bomb started out on fire, throwing haymakers and going through a long series of power moves which the champion sold beautifully. But every time she paused, the champion went after her left leg. As the match wore on, it became obvious that the challenger was favoring that left leg. Like a cobra, the champion timed her strike perfectly. Reversing a belly to back suplex attempt into a cross kneelock, she had the challenger dead to rights in the center of the ring. That is, until Willow played her role to perfection. Distracting the referee just long enough for Agent 69 to run in and blindside the champion with a spin kick to the back of the head. With both ladies down, the referee started his ten count. Using the ropes, Cherry Bomb gingerly got to her feet at 9, clearly in pain. Staggering over to the champion, she fell into another trap as the champ kicked away at her knee until she too found her face on the canvas. She immediately found herself back in the cross kneelock, screaming at the top of her lungs. Again, Willow found her way to the apron, distracting the referee. This time, Nadia Snow ran in and hit the champ with a knee to the face, before rolling out of the ring. But upon leaving the ring apron, Willow got an up close and personal look at the LFC World title, courtesy of Emma Chase, which sent the crowd into a frenzy. Coming slowly to her feet, the champion signals for the end and locks in a stretch muffler. Cherry Bomb screams and curses for about 15 seconds before finally tapping. Winner and STILL champion: Kimmy Bentsen (C-) The match is over but the beatdown is just starting as The Bomb Squad descend upon the weakened champion. But then two relative unknowns in Ashley Grover and Fiona Flame hit the ring and begin to clean house. (E+) Overall rating: D Buyrate: 0.31 Post-show notes: - Buyrate still rising so show rating doesn't concern me too much. Yet. - Cherry Bomb-Kimmy program might have some legs. ;) - Another "gang" formed on the heel side, which is good - Midcard still vexing me, though I have some remedies coming soon. - I blew Ashley's debut segment, sigh

Backstage at the LFC Impact Zone, Wednesday Week 1 June 2008, 8pm EST I called this meeting with the girls because I felt I needed to put things into perspective. I'm trying to build something permanent here and, while developing my own talents, I want more than anything else to create a new generation of stars. Women that'll take our artform to the next level and serve notice to those mouth-breathing, knuckle draggers that we're not a sideshow. We're the feature presentation. But now that we're on TV, I needed everyone to step up their game and show me they wanted it as much as I do. "Ladies, congratulations! For many of you, this will be the first time you've performed in front of an audience on television. There will be nerves, jitters, butterflies but it's okay. All I need for you to do is go out there and give it your best. I want you to get comfortable with the cameras and hit your spots just like you always do. It's only going to get more intense from this point on. But right now, I'd like to address some issues that have come to my attention. It appears that some folks aren't happy with their push. I can understand that. We all believe we have the ability to main event shows, see our names in lights, be a SHOWSTOPPA! But the fact of the matter is, only a handful of people in this room have actually produced main event quality matches. So, I'll lay down a challenge that I hope all of you take me up on. If you go out there and wow the crowd, steal the show, prove to me you have what it takes to put fannies in those seats, then I'll improve your push. Hell, make a strong enough case and I'll put this title around your waist. My champions are expected to carry their card level. Jaime, right now, you're expected to carry the midcard in singles competition. Amber & Steph, you're supposed to carry the tag team division. Me? I've gotta carry the main event level. We don't do it alone though. In the coming weeks, more will be expected of the champions. It might not be uncommon for you to work two matches per show. You need ring time to develop and work on your craft and I intend to give you that ring time. These people need to know who you are and what you represent and I'll give you every opportunity to inform them. But what I need from you is maximum effort, every minute you're out there. Don't let up and don't hold back. But, the next time you get the idea in your mind that you should be champion instead of someone else, ask yourself one question: How strong are your shoulders?"

Rebecca spent the first 5 mins of the match in the air, until Shiori caught up to her and turned in quite the technical clinic. Finish came when Rebecca tried a springboard back elbow but was snatched out of the air and found herself on the receiving end of a beautifully executed released german suplex. Shiori let out a joshi scream and picked Rebecca up and hit an impressive move she calls the Jippensha Driver (Wrist-clutch Fisherman Driver) for the 1, 2, 3. Winner: Shiori Jippensha (D-) vs Tai vs Joanne Rodriguez J.Ro did her homework, spending most of the match relying on hit & run tactics, not allowing Tai to use her power game much at all. About the biggest burst of offense Tai got was at the end when she caught J.Ro after a double axehandle attempt and powerslammed her hard to the mat. She then tossed J.Ro into a corner like an empty rag doll but her running clothesline attempt found the henhouse empty. As she stumbled out of the corner, J-Rocker and pinfall. Winner: Joanne Rodriguez (D) vs Ashley Grover vs Wendy Anderson Wow, okay I did not expect this. Ashley and Wendy went at each other like pitbulls, starting the match brawling. Ashley backed Wendy into a corner and lit her up with knife-edge chops, at one point firing off 18 in a row before Wendy collapsed. Ashley picked her up only to get a thumb to the eye for her troubles. As referee Shane Stones scolded Wendy, she went to work on Ashley. Finish came after Ashley hit a corkscrew flying back elbow and went up top for the Chicago Hope (Imploding Senton Bomb) for the pinfall. Winner: Ashley Grover (D) vs Sara Marie York vs Jaime Quine Fast paced match that should make a good matchup when these two are more over and experienced. Jaime won it with the KO Kick. Winner and STILL champion: Jaime Quine (D) vs The Brendon Sisters vs Ice Queens w/Jenny Playmate Hear that? It's the sound of a turd hitting the toilet bowl. I need to find out which team stunk up the joint. Anyway, Ice Queens debuted a new tag finisher called Frozen Tumble (Superkick-plex) for the win. Winner and STILL champions: Ice Queens (E+) vs Suzanne Brazzle vs Catherine Quine w/Kristen Pearce Ahh, my main eventers save the day. Even matchup that tipped Catherine's way when Kristen distracted the ref long enough for Catherine to get an illegal choke in on Suzanne then wrap her up in the Cat's Cradle. Winner: Catherine Quine (C-) vs Gorgon w/Karen Killer vs Kimmy Bentsen w/Emma Chase The surprises never cease. Gorgon spent the first 5 minutes of the match knocking Kimmy from pillar to post, inside and outside of the ring. Then, after an irish whip to the corner, the champion saw her chance to turn the tables. Dodging a running splash attempt, she dropkicked the massive Gorgon right out of her boots and followed it with a basement dropkick that brought the crowd to life. Finish came after Karen Killer tried to interject herself and took a spear off the ring apron. As Gorgon tried to take advantage with a running clothesline from behind, she found herself the victim of a ruse in the form of a springboard back elbow. Kimmy signaled to the crowd for the end and went up top and hit a move she calls the Heavenly Helio (Corkscrew 450 splash) for the pin and successful defense. Winner and STILL champion: Kimmy Bentsen (C-) Overall Rating: D+ Viewership: 0.26 Post-show notes: - That tag team match cost us a C- grrrr - A cookie to whoever can name the song that opened the show (the one Eve, Roxy, and Julie "sang" the intro to). :p - Banner courtesy of Clarity

Hrm, Apupunchau got 6 of 7. I'm gonna have to tighten my game up a lil bit. :p --------------------------------- The alarm clock buzzed like a nest of angry hornets. I opened one eye (the only part of my body that wasn't cursing at me) and noticed it said 5:05. Why the hell is....oh, yeah. Radio show. Note to self: Find someone else to do these things.
Ron Bleisz: Welcome to the Rockin' Ron Bleisz morning show, here on WPHN. This morning we have the owner of our very own wrestling promotion. Here from Ladies Fighting Championship is Panama City's own Kimmy Bentsen. Hi Kimmy, how're you feelin' this mornin'? Kimmy: Well, do you want the truth or propaganda? (laughs) I'm doing okay, just a bit sore. Ron: I can imagine. That was one hellified match you were in last night. Hell, the whole damn card was real good. Kimmy: Thanks! We're always doing our best to entertain the fans! Before we go any further, I'd like to thank all our fans from all over the region for coming out to our shows. Y'know, I've spoken to folks who drove out from as far away as Tennessee! Ron: Wait. They drove out from T-N to see an LFC show? You ladies must've made quite the impression. Kimmy: It's what we set out to do from our inception. We wanted to show folks that we don't have to take our clothes off to be entertaining. I'll tell ya, we've got some girls that can rip the head off an angry steer. Ron: Ol' girl you beat last night, what was her name, Gorgon? She don't look like much of a pushover to me. Kimmy: Yeah, try taking a clothesline from her. Ow. Ron: I'll leave that to the professionals (laughs) Now, last night was your first TV broadcast, wasn't it? Kimmy: Yep, every Wednesday night at 11pm, LFC Ladies Night. Only on Sports America and Maple Leaf Sports! The best 90 minutes of wrestling on the planet! *murmurs*Outside of Japan (laughs) Ron: Well, what kind of style would you say LFC uses? I mean, everyone knows about SWF and it's "Sports Entertainment" label and TCW calls itself "Tradition Updated". Have you thought of a particular style for LFC? Kimmy: As a matter of fact, I have. Our style is what I'd call "American Joshi". It's basically very much a fusion of the Japanese style with some Mexican lucha as well as the old school American Traditional and entertainment. We like to keep an uptempo pace to our matches so the fans don't even have enough time to blink or they might miss something. Ron: Also, I hear you have a little announcement to make? Kimmy: Oh, yes. I wanted to announce that we've rolled out kiosks in Panama City Mall and Pier Park for any and all fans who might want to avail themselves of LFC merchandise. We'll have T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, coffee mugs, foam fingers, and much more at the LFC booth in the Pier Park and Panama City malls! Ron: Now that's convenient. Thank you Kimmy for stopping by and, feel free to drop in whenever you have a free moment. It's always great to talk with a local girl doing what she can for her community. Kimmy: Well thank you, Ron. But I may make you live to regret that open invitation (laughs) Ron: Never! And now to Brenda with the weather! *whispers* You think you can have that Latina Sensation girl come by sometime?

Hrm, Apupunchau got 6 of 7. I'm gonna have to tighten my game up a lil bit. :p
I think that may be a compliment. Anyway I'm getting pretty good at predicting most of the time I get it wrong is when I have a bias against a or for a worker and am willing to against my better judgement. I don't think it ends up that people are predictable I think it's as a writer I know what would make a good story and keep strong characters so I can generally tell what the next part of the story should be. Anyway you're doing a fine job andas long as my predictions don't force you to stop J-Ro's push to the top I'll keep doing them. I'd be posting my 5SSW stuff but I'm away for a few days in Pittsburg and I forgot to transfer the notes for the last few shows write up to my laptop before I left home.

I'll let a sekrit out and say that J.Ro's definitely one of my favorites and as long as her price doesn't get into the Sean McFly tax bracket, I'm keepin' her. Eventually I plan to phase out most workers over 30 and concentrate on "The New Breed", so to speak, but J.Ro is probably untouchable. Never say never though. But stuff is about to heat up in the next few shows. :)
I'd also love to see Megumi Nakajima and DEVIL Karube in your Main Event
Are you out of your mind? Hell, SO WOULD I. But DEVIL's loyal to 5SSW and Megumi's not available outside of Japan. :( I love Megumi Nakajima in a most irrational way (she ALWAYS feuds with Shiori Jippensha in my games and they always tear the roof off) as well as Huntress Makiko. And I always drool over the prospect of turning Otsune Tsumura into the next Lioness Asuka. But until 5SSW goes bankrupt (and they're doing very well in this game, thanks to my luck :(), no dice. I may have to sign a working agreement with 5SSW but I've been hesitant to work with anyone because of the "dissolve agreement = declare war" thing. And when I hit National, I don't want anything stopping me from locking up people like J.Ro. :)
