Dinsmore did the typical heel stalling tactic...(referee get him back, so I can enter and take my robe off routine) Haas would finally slingshot him into the ring and tear it off, The crowd was really into this bout and both wrestlers played the old school face and heel routine to the tee.. Everything Dinsmore did, Hass came back with one more or one even harder...The pinfall came when Nick Dinsmore went for a "Dinsmore Driver" brainbuster, but Haas kicked his way back to his feet and rolled Dinsmore up in a small package for the 3 count...Dinsmore went for an attack on aas following the bout but Haas backdropped him over the top rope.... These two had an awkward bout, London used his speed early and McGuinness finally countered when he suckered him into the "Tower of London" an ROH chant was actually started up by a group of fans... London went for the "London Calling" but missed... Nigel set up for a second "Tower of London" which this time London dropkicked him and Nigel crotched himself on the top rope...As Nigel staggered back into the ring, London hit a back suplex in which both mens shoulders were on the mat... While Claudio came out to the "Olympic theme which segues into Peter Gabriel's "Sledgehammer" The two tried to outwrestle each other early ...In more of a macho, I just bested you type fashion in a game of "onesupmanship" Claudio would eventually wear down Albright with 3 different kind of sleeper/choke holds... But Albright would actually "hulk" himself back up to the delight of the crowd...Albright would go on a tear of lariats and shoulder spears, he then went for his 3 consecutive suplex spot which Claudio blocked and lifted Albright up on the top rope...As Claudio went for a superplex, Albright fought against it and eventually both men fell to the outside of the ring with Albright falling through the time keepers table.... Neither man had moved as referee Billy Dalton had counted them both out at 10.... New Commisioner [B]Terry Taylor [/B] ruled and said the first man to make it back in the ring would be declared the winner.... Both men got up and started chopping each other...Claudio had his back against the ring apron and Albright hit with a chop so hard that Claudio jumped up and fell back into the ring for the victory... [B]TJ Wilson [/B]accompanied Smith to the ring as his second... Smith demonstrated his strength by press slamming Murdoch... which made Murdoch so mad that he rolled out of the ring and started walking through the crowd picking up and tossing chairs all over the place...Murdoch took a chair back to the ring with him and Smith had a chair as well, the two went at it with dueling chairs before Robert Briskoe threatened to disqualify both men... Murdoch then stuck his finger in Smith's eyes and went at him with some stiff punches...Murdoch came close with several near falls after a brainbuster, a bulldog and a suplex in which Murdoch held Smith up for the count of 20.... Murdoch missed a shoulder block into the corner which Smith turned into a bulldog and Smith then hit Murdoch with a stalled suplex... Smith went for a running powerslam, but Murdoch grabbed the ropes... TJ Wilson then shoke the ropes and Murdoch lost his grip and Smith hit the power slam for the win.. Briscoes came out to Skynnyrds "Gimme Back My Bullets".... Vixen accompanied Sweet and Sour International to the ring and did the old "Precious" Routine of spraying the ring with disinfectent... Briscoes had Steele & James confused that they needed to use several timeouts and reconvene w/ Sweeney...The Briscoes shouwed the ability to fly as they hit a double plancha over the top rope onto all 3 of them at ringside...Mark went for a shooting star press but missed and Blonde Squad took over with flurry of double team manuevers... Kasey was holding Mark while Ace came off the top with a dropkick, but Mark moved and he hit his partner allowing Mark to hot tag to his brother....Jay hit every head drop in the world and when Vixen got up on the ring apron..He suplexed her into the ring but held her there to reveal her panties...Referee was prollong vixen out of the ring, Sweeney sprayed the aerosal can into the eyes of Jay and Steele wrapped up a La Magistral for the pin.... The One Man Gang & Kamala[/SIZE][/U][/B] OMG and Kamala just completely dwarfed The Dynamite Express who came to the ring to ACDC's "T.N.T."..... Richards and Akuma went at the big mans legs with a flurry of kicks to try and chop them down.... Gang and Kamal just through them all over the ring...Kamala hit Gran Akuma with a splash and could've had the 3 count but he tried to pin Akuma while he was laying on hi stomach...Gang had to tell him to get off and Kamala couldn't understand what OMG was telling him... Richards, then came off the top rope with a flying drop kick which sent Gang realing into the corner and he squashed referee Billy Dalton behind him.. MAY 2007 MSG Supershow Part II [I]At the conclusion of intermission Kevin Kelly announced a return date to Madison Square Garden for Saturday June 23, 2007 including many of the stars you are seeing here tonight and more![/I] [B][SIZE="4"]MATCH #7[/SIZE][/B] [SIZE="2"][B]2nd round[/B][/SIZE] [B][U][SIZE="4"]Charlie Haas vs Nigel McGuinness[/SIZE][/U][/B] Nigel was able to counter many of Haas's early arm bar type holds with his unique counter offer... Each time he did he just walked around with an arrogant strut... Finally Haas had enough that he just power twisted Nigels arm and flipped him around with an array of arm ringers, hiptosses and finally apress slam, Nigel would slither his way out of the ring and bash ringside fans telling them "That the Yankees suck!" and "You wouldn't recognize talent if it was right in front of you, which it is" Crowd got a USA, USA, USA chant going and Nigel started walking out of the arena, CHarlie grabbed him by the hair and the 2 brawled at ringside... Back in the ring, Nigel would catch Charlie running at him in the corner with a single leg takedown and get a near fall with his foot on the ropes.... At this point [B]TED DIBIASE[/B] made his way down to ringside to watch...Nigel grabbed a handful of tights for another close near fall... finally after wipping Haas into the ropes, Nigel did a split to drop down underneath, Charlie Haas put on the breaks and slapped on an STF right in the middle of the ring...Nigel reached for the ropes but couldn't make it and finally tapped out for a Haas victory [B]your winner at 13:36 by tap-out[/B] [B][SIZE="4"]CHARLIE HAAS[/SIZE][/B] [IMG]http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d43/cpevans31/charliehaas1.jpg[/IMG] [B][SIZE="4"][COLOR="Red"]RATED: B[/COLOR][/SIZE][/B] [COLOR="Blue"]after the match[/COLOR] [B]Ted Dibiase[/B] [COLOR="blue"]walked back to the dressing room with Charlie Haas.[/COLOR] [B][SIZE="4"]MATCH #8[/SIZE][/B] [B][U][SIZE="4"]Harry Smith vs Claudio Castagnoli[/SIZE][/U][/B] Again TJ Wilson accompanied Smith to the ring.... The two wrestlers would start off with a pose down and the crowd was behind both wrestlers...However Claudio got them to turn on him after he poked Harry Smith in the eyes...This became a battle of "The European Uppercuts" as both wrestlers tried to hit each other harder and from the most unique positions imaginable....Harry actually staggered Claudio pretty good and went for a powerbomb...But, CLaudio flipped all the way through and landed on his feet and hit Harry with a "Ricola Bomb for a 2 7/8th count" TED DIBIASE again made his way out to ringside to watch the action again... Harry who was on the ring apron, sunset flipped his way back into the ring, but Claudio held the ropes, TJ Wilson then hit Claudio causing him to fall back and Harry got them 1..2.. and Just missed the 3... Harry got back to his feet and went to whip Claudio into the ropes but Claudio reversed it, at which point TJ Wilson tripped Harry without looking, thinking it was Claudio coming in... Claudio grabbed the facedown Harry Smith and packaged him up for another "Ricola Bomb" and the pin.... Managers would not be allowed at ringside at Larry Sweeney was told to leave... The Blonde Squad irrate started to walk away, but when referee Robert Briskoe began counting they ran back to the ring slid under the apron and were met with a flury of stiff kicks by Richards and Akuma.... Richards and Steele finally got 1 on 1 in the ring and were 100 mph at each other with whips into the ropes and corners....Richards caught Steele with a spinebuster which he turned into a Boston Crab and Akuma came off the top with a double stomp to the back of the head for what would've been a pinfall but James made the save...Steele tagged in James who hit a series of elbows and a Lou Thesz press for a near count... The Blondes took the advantage with a flapjack follwed by a double elbow drop... Steele then hit a diving headbutt of the top for for what could've been a three on Richards, but Akuma made the save... Richards hot tagged in a house of fireand tossed James over the top rope...He hit a michinoku driver on Steele and went for a shooting star pressbut James tossed him off the top rope and Steele rolled him into sharpshooter while James flew off with a leg drop and the pin...as Akuma was just a hair late to make the save... Dibiase shakes both mens hand and takes up a front row seat at ringside... [B][U][I]DING DING![/I][/U][/B] We start off with a test off strength and both men are about equal...Charlie steps over with his leg and into an arm ringer, which Claudio takes behind his head and reverses it and bellows out his first "Heeeeeeyyyyyyyy" of the match... Haas rolls outand into a hard firemens carry slamming Claudio down and he hollars "Heyyyyyy" as well and the crowd laughs. Claudio charges but is met with several armdrags and both men go into a routine of working over each other's arms...A couple of whip into the rope reversals and we have our first heavy hitting as Claudio clothelines Charlie over the top and to the floor...Claudio slams Charlie's Head into the ring post drawing our [COLOR="Red"]first blood[/COLOR] of the match.... From There Claudio pushes Charlie back into the ring and climbs the ropes from the outside and hits a flying clotheline for a near fall.... Claudio surfboards Charlie and begins to work his back... A tilt a whirl backbreaker and over the shoulder backbreaker put Charlie in agaonizing pain and still bleeding from the head... Charlie reverses a Claudio throw into the turnbuckle and hits a big backdrop and begins to "Hulk" himself up with a flurry of fists and then bites the bridge of Claudio's nose... Haas then hits a sequence of a powerslam off the ropes, he then turns Claudio into a boston crab and then leans in for an STF, which is how he put Nigel McGuinness away... This time Claudio is too close to the ropes and gets the break... [B]Dibiase[/B] is seen getting out of his seat and issuing some words of wisdom inot Charlie's ear... [B]Terry Taylor[/B] comes around and tells Dibiase he has to stand back, but before he does Dibiase throws something, but over the head over Haas and into the hands of Claudio...Claudio puts on a set of brass knucks and goes to clobber Charlie but Haas blocks them and retaliates with his own flurry of fists...Claudio drops the brass knucks and Charlie picks them up only to look at them and then throw them back at [B]Dibiase[/B], while Haas is seen yelling at Dibiase, Claudio reaches into his tights and KO's Charlie Haas and puts the object back into his tights... The referee counts......1.....2......and.....3....... Claudio is exhausted and rolls out of the ring and goes over and hugs Ted Dibiase... Sure we only had a crowd of about 2,300 show up... But that is actually better than we expected...[/I][/B] [B]A couple of thoughts I had after the event are.[/B].. [B]1. What in the heck is going through the mind of Ted Dibiase, to me it seems as if all that money is going to his head...Dibiase told me after the show that he is setting out to single handidly dominate this UWF for him being slighted as choice of the commisioner...and that, "On our most important event so far, he makes the biggest splash by walking away with the new UWF champion as a member of his "Million Dollar Inc." Claudio in my mind is outstanding wrestler who is only going to become that much more dangerous with Dibiase behind him...[/B] [B]2. I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of matches put on... Dave Meltzer at wretling observer gave the finals of the tournament between Castagnoli and Charlie Haas a B+ rating... The Haas vs Nigel Mcguinness matchup was solid as well, as was Murdoch vs Smith round 1 fight and so was the Dinsmore vs Haas 1st round matchup...[/B] [B]3. Got to give it up for "The Blonde Squad" of Sweet & Sour International who took home the tag team gold, ableit a controversial decision over The Briscoe Brothers , but they also put away "The Dynamite Express [/B] [B]4. "The Butcher" Brute Bernard is certainly out for blood having destroyed The One Man Gang and Kamala...This man is as big as they come and has had success in Japan and the WWE in the past as a different character and this bloodthirsty character he now portrays is right up his ally.[/B] [B]5. I love nostaligia, but I think The One Man Gang's and Kamala's better days are behind them as tthey were decimated by "The Butcher" and pinned by a team more than half their size in The Dynamite Express...I curious to know how happy the man is who is subsidizing Jack Victory's signings can be witheir performance this week... 6. Dinsmore runs in to break up the count and he and Albright face off in some amateaur style action, but then London hits a high cross body block on to the both of them...London Dropsaults all 3 ooponentsand then goes for a dive outside ring onto Murdoch, but Murdoch catches him an slams his back into the ringpost...Murdoch and Dinsmore get into the ring and start clobbering away at each other and the crowd eats it up as they knock each other silly and Albright and London both try to roll up both groggy wrestlers... All 4 men eventually get in the ring, where they take turns hitting trademark moves on one another... Murdoch and Albright get tangled up with each other and fall out of the ring and they begin to brawl at ringside.... Dinsmore climbs the turnbuckle and is about to fly onto London, when Albright slams Murdoch's back into the ringpost that then shakes Dinsmore off and he falls into the ring missing a headbutt on London....London climbs ropes and pulls out a 450 slash on Dinsmore for the pin and the victory.. The UWF will soon be introducing another UWF legend as a memeber of our broadcast team in the very near future.... UWFwrestling.com has learned that the UWF has come to terms with a talented international prospect, who has recently began to make a name for himself on the European scene... At this point in time, we cannot mention the name, but this talented prospect will be joining the UWF roster as soon as this week. Commisioner [B]Terry Taylor[/B] has signed a rematch of the finals of the UWF Universal Championship tournament for the main event for our June Supershow at Madison Square Garden.... Universal Champion [B]Claudio Castagnoli[/B] will take on [B]Charlie Haas[/B] for the UWF championship. This coming Thursday on T.N.T. we will see in action [B]The Canadian Bulldogs[/B] take on [B]The Devastation Incorporated[/B] team of [B]One Man Gang [/B]and [B]Kamala[/B], led by [B]Jack Victory[/B].... Commisioner [B]Terry Taylor[/B] is putting the finishing touches on the point ranking system.... In this system wretlers will sign on for "Contender's Matches" if a wrestler wins and beats a wrestler ranked 1-5 (they get 3pts) ranked 6-10 (they get 2pts) ranked 11-15 (they get 1pt).... If they lose to wrestler ranked 1-5 (they lose 1pt) lose to a wrestler ranked 6-10 (they lose 2pts) and lose to a wrestler ranked 11-15 (they lose 3pts)... If they are signed to a 3 way contenders match the winner will recieve the points of of both wrestlers rank in which they are competing with.... The loser of a 3 way match will lose the points of the Ranked wrestler who pins them... The wrestler not involved in the fall, neither gains, nor loses points... The initial rankings will be determined by commisioner Terry Taylor and the championship committee.... The points will be reset to the zero on a quarterly basis....The point system will dictate which wrestlers will recieve title shots in the UWF... Only matches signed as "Contender's matches" will count towards rankings. The thought process by Commisioner Terry Taylor is that the ranking system will help legitimize the UWF as a sports based wrestling promotion.

I for one am looking forward to rematch to that great UWF tourny finals match in Claudio Castagnoli vs CHarlie Haas... These are two men very similar in size with solid wrestling credentials and you know Haas will be fired up after what transpired last time out... The Butcher Brute Bernard is striking up a level of fear in the UWF locker room as, wrestlers haven't been to quick to sign on the dotted line since his vignettes began airing on TNT a few weeks ago... At 6-6 350lbs and as strong as they come, this big grizzly bear has added a level of viciousness that he never portrayed back in his WWE days... I like what is going on in the tag team scene, despite not being fond of Larry Sweeney's "Sweet and Sour International" tag team of "The Blond Squad" Ace Steele & Kasey James... That tandom, along with The Briscoe Brothers, The hard hitting Dynamite Express, The Canadian Bulldogs (If they can iron out the problems their having) and the impending debut of "The Fantastics" from what I've heard are a talented young duo, which both wrestlers had caught the eye of WWE in the past makes for some highly anticipated matches.... WOrd in the offices is that another UWF legend , who was in attendance at the Madison Square Garden show was so impressed with the prospects of the new UWF, that he signed a contract that day and will be making an appearance perhaps as soon as this week on T.N.T. "Thursday Night Titans" Terry Taylor's new points ranking system will certainly add a competitve edge to the UWF roster and while that first official ranking hasn't been determined... Right now I'd rank them... 1. Claudio Castagnoli (obviously as he's the champ) 2. Charlie Haas (Was on the verge of winning that tournament before Dibiase interjected) 3. Nigel McGuinness (This ****y Brit has looked impressive and came close to beating Haas in the semi-finals 4. Paul London (Winning that 4 way dance moves him up this list) 5. He has already gone ahead and booked 4 great matches for our June, Madison Square Garden "SuperShow" That tough Oklahoman turned Texan, Charlie Haas will challenge for the UWF Universal Heavyweight championship against Ted Dibiase's main protege in "Double C" Claudio Castagnoli A big 3 way tag team match for The Universal Tag Team Titles is at stake as "Sweet and Sour Internationals" "Blonde Squad" of Ace Steele & Kasey James defend against Jay & MArk Briscoe and the hard hitting and kicking team known as "The Dynamite Express" Davey Richards & Gran Akuma... 2 former WWE Superstars Brent Albright (#4 ranked) and Trevor Murdoch (#5 ranked)will tangle and we'll also see "The Canadian Bulldogs" in action against each other as Harry Smith (#6 ranked) takes on TJ Wilson (#15 ranked) as these guys will try to settle their differences... He states, "That he has been so focused on preparing his Tag team the "Blonde Squad" for their title defense that he hasn't focused on his his own career, and that since he is the sexiest man in UWF, the paying fans of NYC need to see him, besides The Blonde Squad is ready to go tonight." Commisioner Terry Taylor comes out and makes the match .. Finally when they locked up the actionon the mat was fast and furious amateur style and Dinsmore was shocked Flynn could hang with him...Dinsmore eventually overtook Flynn with his power advantage...and could have put Flynn away after a vicious jumping Piledriver... but he pulled him up saying "I'm not ready, yet".... Dinsmore went for a high vertical suplex in which he held Flynn up for a long time, but Flynn kicked his legs hard and all his momentum came down fast into a small package for a SURPRISE 3 count! Claudio trys to leave and Charlie chases back up the entrance way and drags him back, he grabs Dibiase for a double knoggin Knocker.... Claudio takes to the offence after they get back into the ring but cannot maintain it as Charlie haas has answer for every move Claudio trys... Including a fujiwara armbar that Claudio fights for minutes from keeping Charlie from completely locking in... Dibiase interferes and Haas Suplexes him into ring as Claudio comes from behind Charlie is ready and backdrops him to arena floor... Charlie the catches Dibiase in a bear hug and shakes the life out of him... Claudio climbs the ropes from the outside and as he jumps in Charlie releases Dibiase and catches Claudio... First off, One has to wonder who this mystery man is behind Devastation Incorporated.... First off he financed "Oldschool" Jack Victory, who brought in The One Man Gang and The Ugandan Giant Kamala.... They square off in a series of bouts involving "The Butcher" Brute Bernard...Bernard dominates these encounters and all of a sudden we have this mysterious masked man, watching from ringside at the Garden....The Masked Man enters the ring and tells Victory he is a failure and that "The Boss" has changed direction...Brute Bernard comes back out and the 2 men pulvarize Jack Victory...Apparently one thing we know is that this sicko mystery man wants to see blood and violence for his form of entertainment..... Claudio Castagnoli and Charlie Haas have had 2 consecutive great main events at the Garden, however Ted Dibiase has had to stick his nose in where it doesn't belong both times.... My Sources are telling me that Haas has had enough and is bringing in someone to watch his back... Speaking of Dibiase, no news on what Nigel McGuinness intends to do with Dibiase's offer...Nigel was unable to appear at the Garden show due to a stomach virus, but some rumors are circulating that he just took the time off to contemplate the Dibiase offer It seems, like a shame to me in The direction that the Canadian Bulldogs have gone...They were such a talented team... It would be nice to see them in a series of battles against The Briscoe Brothers or the champs "The Blonde Squad" and even The Dynamite Express... But for now it looks as if TJ Wilson has just grown tired of playing second fiddle to Harry Smith. Speaking of tag teams, we've seen the debut of "The Fantastics" Seth Skyfire and Tyson Rogers, did you know that both these talented youngsters were once signed to WWE developemental deals....Not sure if that matters to the fans as it seems as if the only ones getting behind them are the 12 year old girls Coming up this week on T.N.T. we will hear from That Masked Man who appeared with Brute Bernard at the Garden.... We will also hear from Jack Victory....We'll check on the condition of Brent Albright after suffering a terrible brainbuster on the concrete floor at the MSG show and our television main event will be a tag team encounter to determine the #1 contenders between...
