Big fan of the C-Verse, and this diary too, so here are my predictions for Pyromania. ROF Pyromania – December 2008 ROF Tag Team Titles Warriors of Honour © vs The Wigan Bulldogs New champs don't lose quite yet. Burning EXILE vs Mario Heroic Exile's got more ROF style talent. ROF Talisman Title Billy Robinson © vs Don Henderson Robinson just won the title, no way he loses yet! 10-man Tag Team Battle Royal Features Absolutely Flawless, Future X, G-Force, High and Low, and Par Excellence. Too much long-range potential for the Gauges to lose here. ROF Championship Fatal 4-way JD Morgan © vs Merle O’Curle vs Stevie Stoat vs UK Dragon My heart says Stoat, but my head says Morgan.

ROF Tag Team Titles Warriors of Honour © vs The Wigan Bulldogs I think the Warriors will keep the belt a bit longer. Burning EXILE vs Mario Heroic EXILE by Tigerkinney's logic. ROF Talisman Title Billy Robinson © vs Don Henderson Not likely to see the title flop about. 10-man Tag Team Battle Royal Features Absolutely Flawless, Future X, G-Force, High and Low, and Par Excellence. This is a tough match to call - you've had some problems with a lot of your teams in terms of performance and seem to think highly of G-Force, so I'll go with them. ROF Championship Fatal 4-way JD Morgan © vs Merle O’Curle vs Stevie Stoat vs UK Dragon I see the champ retaining here - just seems a little cheaper if he loses the belt in a 4-way match.

Woah...8 replies for Pyromania! Thanks for the predictions and the support - I think that's the most predictions yet for one of the shows. It's nice to know there are plenty of people reading (and hopefully enjoying) the diary. :) Will probably get the end of year newsletter up later this evening.

Nice to see U.K Dragon winning the ROF title, even if I did stump for the 'safer' bet of O'Curle in my predictions. Robinson dropping the Talisman title after only one defence was a bit of a shock. Fantastic job by the way with the end of year review, that must have been very time consuming to research.

Robinson dropping the Talisman title after only one defence was a bit of a shock. Fantastic job by the way with the end of year review, that must have been very time consuming to research.
I just felt Dragon deserved it as his performances are so consistent and he is overall the best worker on the roster - it's only his hectic schedule that is an issue with him. He's unavailable for Short Fuse events as he works WLW those days, but it makes his appearances at the main monthly show that bit more special. Robinson and Henderson I just felt leant itself nicely to an immediate title change, as they are pretty even in the game and I want that to translate to their feud. Although I don't do short-term title reigns as a norm, if I never did it, the title match straight after a title change would always be a bit easy to predict! End of year review - not too bad. I just keep a brief note of the comings and goings between feds. Don't know if I'll do it if and when I get round to the end of 2009 though!!

Billy Robinson vs Burning EXILE Difficult one to call. Robinson can't really afford to lose as it would hurt his momentum to get back in the hunt for the Talisman Title, but EXILE seems to be establishing himself more and more on the ROF roster, and I've got an inkling that he is being gradually built towards an ROF title shot. ROF Tag Team Titles Warriors of Honour © vs Future X Future-X may of had a good run with the belts, back in the day when they literally were the tag division, but I don't see them being the team to end the run of the Warriors. Merle O’Curle vs Stevie Stoat Stoat might have got the upset win the last time out, but I don't see lightning striking twice. Keith Adams vs Leo Price Price has shown a little more than Adams, and has looked a more legitimate Talisman Title threat. Adams will be the K-Lee Hawkins (Anonymous mid-carder) for 2009. ROF Talisman Title Don Henderson © vs Walter Morgan You've done the ultra short title reign with Robinson, so I don't see that happening again, unless you're really trying to play hot potato with the title. ROF Championship UK Dragon © vs JD Morgan Though it wouldn't completely surprise me if Morgan won the belt right back and made Dragon's reign a short one, I think Dragon will get the win to cement his legitimacy as the ROF champion

Billy Robinson vs Burning EXILE ROF Tag Team Titles Warriors of Honour © vs Future X It's about time Eric Future won something again ¬_¬ Merle O’Curle vs Stevie Stoat Tough one, because losing again will pretty much throw Stoat out of the title picture, but losing to Stoat won't exactly help Merle either. I'll go for Stoat though, because he needs it more. Keith Adams vs Leo Price Leo Price sucks. Nuff said. ¬_¬ ROF Talisman Title Don Henderson © vs Walter Morgan While Henderson losing is always fun, I can't see two title changes in two months... ROF Championship UK Dragon © vs JD Morgan He might not be there most of the time, but he needs to beat JD one-on-one to be a real champ.

When 'pox reads this he'll spin in his tree. Wow CGC have opted not to compete with NotBPW at all, instead setting their sights on... USPW? I mean Gilbert to Gilbert? *shudder* I hope MoSC get their act together. It seems staler than year old beer. And good to see NYCW getting their act together. As for RoF. Some of those Short Fuses seemed a bit low ratings wise but hopefully you'll get the boost around the UK soon enough to get you on television. It'll be interesting to see how 21CW deals with your looming popularity. While I"m here... UK Dragon retains - although I don't see him as a long term champ due to his jet setting. Warriors of Honour retain - High n' Low didn't make the last 'supercard' so I don't see them winning. Besides, the eventual split between Judoka and Samurai will be the real story. Burning EXILE - continues to win friends and influence people :D

It'll be interesting to see how 21CW deals with your looming popularity.
To be honest, a C- show will raise us decently yet in the North, which is where I'm trying to boost our popularity now. So those scores are okay - plus I need to use them mainly to test out new combinations for chemistry and try to boost skill levels faster - hence lots of battle royals with lower level workers in them! At the moment I'm not sure where to go with TV. We're currently losing money (albeit only a couple of thousand per month) by running these 5 shows per month. And gates in the UK are so low (I can only fill a 1,000 venue in the south even with over 55% popularity there) that money will be an issue as we rise. There's only just under 400,000 in the coffers right now, which would be nowhere near enough to sustain me at cult level if and when I get there. But for now I'm trying to boost wrestlers' skills and get as close to cult as possible - then try to boost the bank balance. I may avoid TV altogether, as money-wise it might not be viable, and head straight to PPV when that's available. That all seems quite a long way off yet though!! :D 21CW are actually holding steady. They're just a couple of percent away from being cult, but aren't making any progress in terms of popularity right now. ROF is more popular in the South, but nowhere near in the rest of the country. 21CW's prestige is about 1.5% higher than ROF, which is holding steady as both companies run 5 shows per month.
