ROF Talisman Title Burning EXILE © vs Petey Barnes I feel the Talisman title after a period of hot-shotting is going to settle down for a while on EXILE, and I see the Japanese import retaining here over the man who helped build the legitamacy of the belt. JD Morgan & High and Low vs Merle O’Curle & Par Excellence I get the feeling that Morgan's losing streak will continue Billy Robinson vs Don Henderson This has been a real see-saw feud, and just when you think one of them has the upper-hand the other one comes back. But with a shot at the Talisman title on the line, I think Robinson will go over here, as he has more heat with EXILE than Henderson. ROF Tag Team Titles Warriors of Honour © vs G-Force It may be one month on, but I still think the Warriors will retain in the first meeting between these two team. I'm positive that G-Force will win the tag belts eventually but not this time. Rolling Johnny Stones vs Stevie Stoat Stones already looks a force by beating Merle O'Curle (who was dominant in 2007/first half of 2008) in his comeback match, and I feel the winner of this match will probably be the next one to challenge for the title. Dragon-Stoat matches are always good but Stones would be the fresher match-up and he already appears to be a on a roll. ROF Championship UK Dragon © vs Walter Morgan U.K Dragon has already had a longer run than some people have been expecting and you've done a good job of quietly building Walter Morgan towards the main event, so much so that he does look to be a legitimate challenger. That said I see U.K Dragon retaining this time round.

ROF Dying Embers – April 2009 ROF Talisman Title Burning EXILE © vs Petey Barnes - I've always liked Burning Exile JD Morgan & High and Low vs Merle O’Curle & Par Excellence - O'Curle needs to be champion again someday and he should look really strong untill he gets the title back. Billy Robinson vs Don Henderson - I don't really have a preference ROF Tag Team Titles Warriors of Honour © vs G-Force - I really do like all these guys and a few more shots at it and G-Force can take the titles. Rolling Johnny Stones vs Stevie Stoat - Beyond the fact I hate Stoat, Stones is a really good worker. ROF Championship UK Dragon © vs Walter Morgan Dragon Maintains once again.
Sigh, missed another round of predictions :( Great show, as always. I have this constant and unreasonable urge to sign UK Dragon and Stoat in every game I play now.
Not to worry. Just glad you're still reading! I'll probably allow plenty of time between posting the Fan The Flames card and the following newsletter, as this is a busy week for me. But then next week is half-term and I can hopefully get motoring again!

Walter Morgan and Kevin Jones in a C+ match that's some miracle working that is. And The Tribe defeating Absolutely Flawless? Ouch. Unless their gimmick is their ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory they might need some time apart from RoF. Good to see the good people of Wigan are coming out in droves. And I'm hedging my bets that next time... there's a new champ and a new Morgan on top as I think Walter might finally get a chance to be the top of the Fire.

Jones actually isn't that bad a worker these days. His stats got a serious update in the game when the Monkey Business team was retired in 2007. Although he's still not really good enough to carry people, he can have good matches with good opponents and his performance stats are pretty high. The Tribe/Absolutely Flawless. Well, I left the result down to the road agent, and he picked The Tribe. Not that I could care less really, because Kelly Martin is irritating me with his consistent lateness. To be honest, neither team is really worth their salt. The Tribe aren't improving much and may not be long before they get the chop. Flawless actually are improving, but I haven't decided just yet whether or not to try and reinvigorate them as a team, or let Kelly loose and concentrate on the more reliable Lance as a singles wrestler or in a new team. You'll have to wait and see regarding Walter Morgan. Although his selling and psychology are a bit iffy towards some of the other main eventers, his technical skills are the best in the company and he can put on great matches with pretty much anyone, similarly to Dragon and O'Curle.

Kevin Jones vs Stevie Stoat Despite your proclamations that Jones is not the talentless brawler that some people would have him pegged as, I still don't see him as championship material and he's basically there to fill out the mid-card. ROF Tag Team Titles Elimination Warriors of Honour © vs G-Force vs High and Low I think because of the injury doubts regarding Matt Gauge, you'll go the safe route and keep the titles on the champions. High and Low are most likely simply there to go out in the first elimination. ROF Talisman Title Burning EXILE © vs Billy Robinson I think I was the first one to peg several months back that Burning EXILE was in ROF for the long haul, and I think you'll keep the Talisman title on him for a little while longer. Don Henderson vs Petey Barnes Difficult one to call, but I'll go for a newly re-focused Petey Barnes to get his singles career back on track. Merle O’Curle vs Rolling Johnny Stones Stones is unbeaten so far, and that's drawing parallels to J.D Morgans run from last year. But I don't think you'll be repeating the same story, and I see O'Curle taking this one, leading to a rubber match between the two next month. ROF Championship UK Dragon © vs Walter Morgan Another difficult one to call, but I see Walter Morgan becoming a triple crown champion in ROF, as he's done enough now to be considered ROF championship material.

Kevin Jones vs Stevie Stoat I hate Stoat but he does have more talent and is over more than Jones. ROF Tag Team Titles Elimination Warriors of Honour © vs G-Force vs High and Low Warriors aren't going out in a three way ROF Talisman Title Burning EXILE © vs Billy Robinson Robinson will be the next to hold this title but not in this match. Don Henderson vs Petey Barnes No real reason I just like Barnes Merle O’Curle vs Rolling Johnny Stones Stones has been coming on strong and now he faces a true master of the RoF ring. I'd like to see at least one traditional best of seven series in RoF and if you get a good rating from this match I think it could be these two. ROF Championship UK Dragon © vs Walter Morgan Morgan may well take this title soon but I htink it'll be somehwere like his third shot against Dragon.

Kevin Jones vs Stevie Stoat I'm going out on a limb here and picking Jones. Stoat is getting stale, and a loss to Jones could lead to a good fued, and help propel Jones into upper or even Main Event status. Just a guess. ROF Tag Team Titles Elimination Warriors of Honour © vs G-Force vs High and Low I'd like to see you put the titles on G-Force, but if you haven' yet, I don't see it being without some more emphasis put on it, and not in a elimination match. ROF Talisman Title Burning EXILE © vs Billy Robinson Duh. Don Henderson vs Petey Barnes Merle O’Curle vs Rolling Johnny Stones I have no eyedear. Blind shot in the dark. ROF Tag Team Titles Elimination Warriors of Honour © vs G-Force vs High and Low I don't particularly like the idea of the champs losing the belts in a three-way match. ROF Talisman Title Burning EXILE © vs Billy Robinson Robinson is certainly worthy of the title, but EXILE will be around for a little bit long, so I see you keeping him looking strong for the time being. Don Henderson vs Petey Barnes Can go either way. Don't really feel strongly about this one. Merle O’Curle vs Rolling Johnny Stones I kind of think of this as a test-match for Stones. If it turns out well, maybe he'll continue his ascent. If it is mediocre, then, well, you've found out how far up the card he can go. ROF Championship UK Dragon © vs Walter Morgan I understand why people are picking Morgan. And sure, they have a point. But for me - well, I just don't like him that much. And I do like UK Dragon, so I'm going with the wrestler that I actually like :P

Certainly a night of surprises and it made a mockery of everyone's predicting skills, this is certainly not the predictable fed it was a year (game time) ago. Couldn't help noticing in the who's hot/not section that Yasuhiko Taira won the BHOTWG World Title. Yippee Burning Hammer fans can look forward to some exciting 3 minute Title matches
