Cult! Awesome! I check in on this dynasty from time to time, and your ratings have absolutely skyrocketed. There are a lot of different styles of writing on this board, but I'm going to give you the nod for intelligent booking. You do a lot with (I've always thought of, at least) an uninspiring roster. Well done.
Congratulations in order on Cult, man! The TV deal and US invasion are both over-time projects, really, as one needs to be built up to while the other one needs your overness built up. Hopefully, though, it'll all fall into place eventually...

Cult! Awesome! I check in on this dynasty from time to time, and your ratings have absolutely skyrocketed. Mucho del Kudos on achieving cult. (That's a patented Spanish-Burning Hammer congratulations yanno.) That might have been your best top-to-bottom card you've done in RoF. No A rated MotY candidates, but nothing to drag down the rating at all. When your worst match is a C rated affair in the opener between de Aske and Svensson then you know you've got something good going. As for the Warriors of Honor and Injustice (which is a feud that really just writes itself) pulling a B- I just want to know who did heavy lifting there? It would appeard Adams took some flight lessons from Eric. Poor Walt... I think his time is past. :( Svensson could easily be your next huge find. And O'Curle just seems to keep on crippling people. In a good way of course. And bonus grins for Hoshino's Frozen Smile. *** Here now some predictions... ROF Great Balls of Fire – June 2010 ROF Tag Team Titles Warriors of Honour © vs Can-Am SAS - I don't see the SAS taking the titles in their first shot and first time on the big stage. And I think Injustice/WoH has more storyline goodness ahead of them. ROF Talisman Title – Best of 5 Series Don Henderson © vs Matt Gauge - non-title so the upstart offspring of Sam Keith picks up an early lead. Nigel Svensson vs Walter Morgan - I like Walt but I just said I think his time may be past AND Svensson could be a huge star. So I'll go with Svensson here. Injustice vs The Show Stealers - for the reasons the Warriors retain, Injustice wins here as the Show Stealers aren't as cohesive as Future/Adams. Billy Robinson vs UK Dragon - A Dragon's Revenge on the early job. Setting up a nice upper-midcard feud that could solidify Robinson's spot in the Main Event region. ROF Championship Merle O’Curle © vs JD Morgan - O'Curle likes his long reigns, has had JD's number and Morgan's age works against him as O'Curle will drop this title but not until much closer to resetting his reign-record. (Either he drops it just before matching it OR he can blast right through it.)

Fan the Flames was a decent show, although the lack of A grade main event pulled it down to B overall. Almost all my main shows are now getting B+ or B, which is good. I think Combustion (for me) probably topped this one as the best show so far, as it also had nothing below a C and the main was an A. I was pleased with the Warriors/Injustice rating. I'm trying to build the tag division back up and am pleased with some of the teams there now. As for the match, Samurai is the key man. Always get a road agent note saying how he looked good. Plus, the Warriors have decent chemistry together. And Future and Adams are both improving their skills. Walter - I wouldn't say his time is past. He's still only mid-30s and he's one of my most reliable for ratings. He's a good nearly man though. As for Svensson, I'm sure he'll be a big player in the months and years to come.

We hope these difficulties have now been sorted out. JD Morgan vs Rolling Johnny Stones Two great technicians and ring veterans will open the show as both go looking for the win that will again elevate them to the main event. Morgan was an unlucky loser in last month’s title match, putting in a great performance. Stones hasn’t been seen on the major shows since his defeat to Walter Morgan at Dying Embers in April. This match promises to be a great start to the show and either man could realistically come out on top. ROF Tag Team Titles Warriors of Honour © vs Can-Am SAS Last month these teams met for the first time, and the match ended inconclusively in a double count-out. That meant that the Warriors retained their tag titles, but also meant that Can-Am SAS continued their undefeated record since forming as a team here in ROF. Now the teams meet again. Can Warriors inflict the first defeat on Nelson and Coleman, or will the cross-atlantic duo become tag team champions for the first time? ROF Talisman Title – Best of 5 Series Don Henderson © vs Matt Gauge Don Henderson beat Matt Gauge last month at Great Balls of Fire in the first match of the their best of 5 series. Since then, Gauge has struck back with a win on the first Short Fuse of July, only for Henderson to retake the lead in the series with a win on last week’s Short Fuse. Standing at 2-1 to the Scot, Gauge must win this match to keep the series – and his hopes of winning the Talisman title – alive. Can he pull off the win, or will the Highland Hitman gun down another victim? Hugh de Aske vs Kevin Jones This is a battle for position in the ROF midcard. Jones has been a reliable performer for quite some time now, often challenging for the Talisman belt but unable to take the step further and win the belt. However he wants another shot at the gold, and a win over Hugh de Aske would go some way towards earning another shot. But de Aske is no easy match. He is undefeated in singles competition and put paid to Johnny Highspot in last month’s dark match, as well as Nigel Svensson the month before. De Aske is on a roll. Can Jones stop him? Nigel Svensson vs Walter Morgan Svensson pulled out a major upset last month. Taking on mentor Walter Morgan in an attempt to eradicate the mistakes that have been affecting his in-ring performances, Svensson actually turned the tables on the more experienced man and got a victory. Now the two men will meet again, with Morgan determined to show that his slip was simply a one-off. For Svensson it is another chance to further his in-ring progress and another win would give him career lift-off. ROF Championship Merle O’Curle © vs UK Dragon These two ROF originals meet once more with the ROF title on the line. O’Curle is in the midst of his 2nd reign with the title, whilst Dragon has held the belt on 2 previous occasions. Their matches are always hard fought and tight to call. Dragon suffered a blip earlier this year, partly due to injury and his busy schedule, but has bounced back with singles wins over tough opponents in Billy Robinson and Adam Matravers. Can he win the ROF Championship though against possibly the most dominant champion in ROF’s history? ______________________________ ROF Heat of Battle – July 2010 JD Morgan vs Rolling Johnny Stones ROF Tag Team Titles Warriors of Honour © vs Can-Am SAS ROF Talisman Title – Best of 5 Series Don Henderson © vs Matt Gauge Hugh de Aske vs Kevin Jones Nigel Svensson vs Walter Morgan ROF Championship Merle O’Curle © vs UK Dragon
