THE WRATH OF F***ING GOD IS ON ROF! I am excited to inappropriate levels. And that helmet is great. Do you have that on a standard backdrop? I COULD USE THAT, YOU KNOW. Awesome, awesome. I already followed this dynasty, will be pounding the refresh button on it now. I love seeing gimmick cross-pollination. Makes me very happy.

Hi Monkeypox, nice to see you checking in. :) You missed out once as the Wrath of God already made an appearance in 2009 - but he's back in 2010. Just not sure about doing an interview with him - don't think I'd do the character justice. But I had to call him the Wrath of God. And I'll PM you the helmet pic on the standard CV background later on when i get chance.

ROF Talisman Title Hugh de Aske © vs Kevin Jones Have to agree with the others, Jones seems to be a mid-card nearly man, whilst it's too early in De Aske's run for him to drop the Talisman belt, plus you have a good storyline going with his unbeaten streak. ROF Tag Team Titles Can-Am SAS © vs Warriors of Honour It's all about the dominant champions with unbeaten streaks right now, and the Can-Am SAS keeps theirs going, as they see of the challenge of the Warriors, to confirm their status as the new kings of the tag division The King of the Ring match Involving Adam Matravers, Billy Robinson, Casey Valentine, Don Henderson, Greg Gauge, Jack Giedroyc, Johnny Highspot, Kashmir Singh, Marat Khoklov, Petey Barnes, Nigel Svensson, Rolling Johnny Stones, Seraphym, UK Dragon and Walter Morgan Here is my run-down on each man's chances: Adam Matravers: Had a good showing in this match, last year but I just don't see him being the one to win this match. Billy Robinson: Is gradually making the step-up from mid-carder to main eventer, and he could be a wild-card threat to win this, but I see his never-ending issue with Don Henderson causing his elimination Casey Valentine: Has yet to make much an impact so far in ROF and he starts as one of the rank outsiders. Don Henderson: Like his rival Billy Robinson he has the potential to be a surprise winner. Greg Gauge: A pleasant surprise to see Gauge back in an ROF win, but I doubt he come away with the victory. Jack Giedroyc: Like last year he'll put in a strong showing, but due to the fact that he's only ever over on the odd guest appearance he wont be the winner Johnny Highspot: Isn't going to result to much more than a mid-carder in ROF, so I give him no chance of winning. Kashmir Singh: Along with Valentine, one of the rank outsiders Marat Khoklov: I'd never thought I'd see Khoklov in an ROF ring, and how long is the Russian Giant here to stay for. He will be dominating presence in this type of match, and a show-down between Khoklov and O'Curle for the title, would certainly bring something different to the table. Nigel Svensson: I think if you are going to go for a 'cinderella story' it will be with Svensson. Though he's taken some tough losses, I get the impression he is gradually being groomed as an eventual main eventer for ROF. Petey Barnes: Despite the fact he has re-formed the Show Stealers with Adam Matravers, I can't see Barnes breaking into the main event scene anytime soon. The very fact that the Show Stealers have re-formed means that Barnes looks to be stuck in the mid-card tag ranks. Rolling Johnny Stones: Last years winner and he has to start amongst the favourites once again. A repeat will be difficult but it is not out of the question. U.K Dragon: A perennial ROF main eventer, but I just get the feeling that this is not the type of match where Dragon truly shines, and I see him perhaps being a surprise early elimination Walter Morgan: Capable of winning, but like another perennial main eventer in U.K Dragon, I just don't see him being the one to end this match. Seraphym: The mystery wild-card , with what looks to be a religious gimmick, given his build up he will at-least put up a strong showing. Overall Prediction: Final Four: Khoklov, Seraphym, Svensson, Stones Winner: Khoklov ROF Championship Merle O’Curle © vs JD Morgan Whilst Morgan could legitimaly defeat O'Curle for the title, it would feel to much like deja vu for him to be the one ot end O'Curle's current reign. Plus I have this feeling that O'Curle's run won't be ended by one of the usual suspects.

ROF Talisman Title Hugh de Aske © vs Kevin Jones - I like Kevin Jones, I truly do, but unless he's about to debut a finisher more impressive than the Shane Douglas Approved Belly to Belly de Aske retains and remains unbeaten. ROF Tag Team Titles Can-Am SAS © vs Warriors of Honour - I like the Can-Am Connection even without Tom Zenk! :P But I think they've got a good chance of being the new lynchpin of the division. For some reason I also think Brit. Sam. is gonna retire soon. I think Giedroyc's signed a PPA with RoF and therefore will be a recurring helmet-wearing regular. As for Marat not making the final four, all of RoF does a total 'Get outta here Andre' on him to guarantee he doesn't win (and incidentally keep him strong as Marat doesn't need to win to be seen as a credible threat to O'Curle.) ROF Championship Merle O’Curle © vs JD Morgan - I'm not a fan of keeping the titles on the three champs but I just don't see any changing right here. O'Curle sets a record and with the influx of new challengers it really opens things up for fresh feuds for O'Curle.

Out came Billy Robinson, who had drawn #1 and didn’t look happy. He was shortly followed by #2 Johnny Highspot, who looked an awful lot happier about life! The two locked up straight away and Highspot actually got the better of the early exchanges, using his speed to his advantage and keeping Robinson flummoxed. Eventually Robinson was taking over when the hooter sounded, causing both men to stop and look at the entrance ramp. Smoke was coming from the entrance and a man with his face painted a little like a skull emerged very slowly. Seraphym had drawn #3. Robinson and Highspot looked on, but Seraphym took an eternity getting to the ring, and Robinson suckered Highspot before he got there. Seraphym slid in under the bottom rope and just sat on the top turnbuckle watching the other two go at it for the few seconds before the #4 entrant arrived. Don Henderson drew #4. He went straight for Billy Robinson, whom Johnny Highspot fed to him. Whilst Robinson and Henderson rekindled their old rivalry, Highspot turned towards Seraphym, who launched from the turnbuckle with a flying clothesline to Highspot. Highspot got up gingerly and was immediately planted with a DDT by Seraphym. A final clothesline saw Highspot go out over the top rope. Johnny Highspot is eliminated. Petey Barnes entered at #5. Robinson and Henderson continued to brawl on one side of the ring. Seraphym waited for Barnes, but the Show Stealer used his quickness to get underneath Seraphym and attack him from behind. The crowd enjoyed the sudden flurry of offense and the two pairs of wrestlers continued to go at it until Kashmir Singh entered at #6. Singh went to help Barnes with Seraphym but, try as they might, the two men couldn’t get him out as he clung on to the ropes. A couple of pokes to the eye got him out of trouble. Robinson started to get the better of Henderson and nearly had him out, but Henderson survived. Seraphym took time out slunk in the corner. Singh and Barnes went after one another. Jack Giedroyc drew #7. As the crowd buzz grew, Giedroyc attacked anything that moved in the ring and seemed impervious to any blows he took himself. Seraphym watched on from the corner. Eventually Singh managed to stop Giedroyc in his tracks, but it was short-lived. A body press, spinebuster and Crashing On later, and Singh was sent flying over the top rope. Kashmir Singh is eliminated. Meanwhile a double clothesline sent both Robinson and Henderson crashing to the mat. Giedroyc turned his attention to Seraphym. The hooter sounded and Casey Valentine came out as #8 and smartly went after the ailing Billy Robinson. Barnes turned his attention to Henderson. Giedroyc stalked Seraphym, who backed away whilst looking intently at Giedroyc the whole time. Eventually Seraphym struck a low blow and worked on Giedroyc mercilessly. He seemed to have him where he wanted him, only for Giedroyc to belly to belly the running Seraphym over the top rope and out. Seraphym is eliminated. He continued to watch Giedroyc as he backed away from the ring area. Almost at the same time, Don Henderson and Petey Barnes were trying to get each other out over the top rope, when Billy Robinson, free from Valentine’s shackles momentarily, came up behind them and dumped them both. Don Henderson and Petey Barnes are eliminated. Robinson turned just in time to see Valentine coming towards him, and backdropped him out of there. Casey Valentine is eliminated. Robinson slumped to the mat as the hooter sounded. Giedroyc stood centre of the ring looking at the entrance. Marat Khoklov came in at #9. Robinson was in no fit state, so Giedroyc sized up the big man and then bounced off the ropes to attack. Khoklov manhandled the Wrath of God with ease at first, showing a variety of awesome power moves, and looked like he would press slam him out of there, but Giedroyc maintained a death grip on the top rope. Eventually Robinson came to life and chop-blocked the big man as the hooter sounded again. Rolling Johnny Stones drew #10. The three men all ganged up on Khoklov, who suffered under the punishment, but was actually smart and went to ground. It didn’t stop the onslaught, but did keep him away from danger of elimination as he waited for an ally to arrive. Unfortunately the big Russian doesn’t have many allies in ROF and, when the hooter sounded, UK Dragon came in at #11. He came into the ring via the top rope and an amazing 450 splash on to Khoklov. The 4 men then picked up the giant and together managed to force him over the top. Marat Khoklov is eliminated. Giedroyc, Robinson, Dragon and Stones each took a corner and sized each other up before Dragon went after Robinson and Stones and Giedroyc went at it. Greg Gauge entered at #12. He decided the smart thing to do was let the 4 men continue to battle it out while he took it easy, but UK Dragon wasn’t having that. He left Robinson (who was able to recuperate) and went toe to toe with Gauge, who actually matched the former champion move for move. Meanwhile Giedroyc was close to getting Stones out on the other side of the ring. Walter Morgan entered at #13. The Wiganer immediately went after Giedroyc, helping Stones out. Stones went over to keep Robinson honest. Dragon and Gauge continued to fight. The action continued, but there were no more eliminations. Nigel Svensson came in at #14. He went over to where Morgan and Giedroyc were working each other over and he helped out Morgan – evidently showing they were still on the same page despite their recent matches against each other. With Giedroyc down, Svensson offered a hand to Morgan, who straight away yanked Svensson close to him and viciously german suplexed him over the top. Nigel Svensson is eliminated. Morgan shouted at him on the floor that he should never make the mistake to trust anybody in a battle royal! The hooter sounded for the final time and #15 Adam Matravers made his way down. He renewed rivalries with UK Dragon, while Robinson and Gauge went at it, Giedroyc and Morgan continued their sparring, and Stones took some time out in the corner. Eventually Stones decided to interject himself into the Matravers/Dragon fight, whilst Greg Gauge desperately tried to get Robinson over the top, only for Robinson to cling desperately on to the ropes. Giedroyc and Morgan laid into one another with stiff shots. Out of nowhere UK Dragon hit consecutive Dragon Drops on both Matravers and Stones, and then went up top for a high risk move. As he came down, Stones raised his knees. A heavily winded Dragon stumbled right into the path of Greg Gauge, who hip-tossed him over the rope. UK Dragon is eliminated. Gauge looked incredibly pleased with himself for having knocked out a former ROF champion, but his celebration was short-lived as he turned into a Stones brainbuster. Matravers went up top and hit him with a Mile High Moonsault. And the two men combined to send Gauge over the top. Greg Gauge is eliminated. Walter Morgan and Jack Giedroyc were still fighting tooth and nail while all this was going on, and Billy Robinson was getting another chance to rest. Matravers and Stones went at it, and Matravers got the better of the exchange. He had Stones dangling, when Robinson snuck up behind and got Matravers out of there. Stones nearly went too but slid in under the bottom rope. Adam Matravers is eliminated. We were down to the final 4 and the change in match emphasis as the bell sounded. Immediately Giedroyc went for a small package on Walter Morgan, remembering no doubt what happened last year. But Morgan kicked out at a very close 2 and a half. Giedroyc continued to get many near falls on Morgan when suddenly Seraphym emerged once again from the back. He did nothing but follow Giedroyc’s movement from the outside of the ring, simply unnerving the Wrath of God. Eventually Giedroyc turned his attention away from Morgan for a split second too long, and Walter hit a picture-perfect tiger suplex to pin Giedroyc. Jack Giedroyc is eliminated. While this was going on, Billy Robinson was getting a real second wind and taking the fight to Johnny Stones. Just as Robinson had Stones in position for his Capital City Crucifix move, Stones floated around it and nailed a sudden brainbuster. He pinned Robinson for the one, two, thr…kickout. Stones looked shocked but picked up Robinson and sent him into the ropes, but Robinson retaliated again with a float over DDT. As he landed from the move though, Morgan applied a Northern Crossface on Robinson. He tried to survive it but couldn’t get towards the ropes. Eventually he passed out from the pain. Billy Robinson is eliminated. Stones and Morgan got up from the mat at the same time, looked at each other and smiled. It was a re-run of last year’s final two in the King of the Ring match. They fought for a couple of minutes, with each man blocking suplex attempts from the other. Eventually Morgan put Stones on the top rope ready for a superplex. He tried to pull him down in the move, but Stones somehow turned the move into a modified reverse DDT off the top. He covered Morgan for the one, two, three. Walter Morgan is eliminated.
Billy Robinson........... so close to pulling a shawn micheals (thats this guy some some game ive been playing) lol:D PUSH BILLY HARDER
Shawn who? Ah, is he from that McMahonverse in the WET game? I do like Billy. I find it a little hard to know exactly what to do with him at this point though. He's had 3 tag title runs and 3 Talisman title runs, so the main event would seem to beckon. But he's still a step behind some of the others in terms of in-ring skill. So whilst he can hold his end of the match well enough, I wouldn't bank on him to carry a match yet. He's also still young and will hopefully improve further. So I'm trying to build him up at the moment as a fairly genuine threat who has his moments and could legitimately make it big at any moment. I could also do with giving him a bit of character development though the odd interview again. Oh, and very impressed that he's made it as your avatar! :D I don't mind you using it at all. It's kind of flattering!

Billy's good at everything but the stat that's become key in my ROF: Psychology. Glancing at his mid-October 2009 form for a moment, he's resting at D+, having been at D or lower until March '09. There's still time to pull that up a bit, but all my main eventers have the Psych to carry their bouts. Otherwise he's good enough to run with them; his Consistency has hit A, his Stamina's at B and thus high enough to manage the intense long main event pace, his Basics are OK, his Technical skills are if anything actually better than Don's and his Aerial are improving, but he still produces weaker bouts than Don due to that Psych deficiency. Soon enough, hopefully...

For Morgan, it was the second year running in that position. For Robinson, it was a remarkable achievement given that he drew number one in the match. Now the wrestlers meet to determine who is where in the title contention pecking order. Both men are desperate to be seen as bona fide main eventers, although neither has yet tasted the glory of the ROF Championship. ROF Tag Team Titles Can-Am SAS © vs The Show Stealers The Show Stealers have made quite a splash since their return as a full-time team, beating Injustice and Par Excellence. However their little run of victories came to a halt at Inferno, when the new tag champions Can-Am SAS beat them to defend their newly won belts. Another successful defence followed last month against Warriors of Honour. Now The Show Stealers get another chance at the gold, but they’ll have to break the undefeated streak of Can-Am SAS to win the belts. Greg Gauge vs UK Dragon This match is a direct result of the King of the Ring match. UK Dragon was one of the most fancied competitors in the bout – perennial challenger for the ROF Championship, former 2-time champion and a new long-term contract signed with ROF. But the returning Greg Gauge managed to eliminate Dragon, who didn’t even manage to reach the latter stages of the match. Dragon wants revenge, and ‘Double G’ has been man enough to accept a match against one of ROF’s yardsticks. Who will come out on top? Jack Giedroyc vs Seraphym The strange Seraphym debuted at King of the Ring, making an impact in the match before being eliminated by Jack Giedroyc. However the skull-faced newcomer helped distract Giedroyc and cost him a chance to win the match later. Giedroyc wanted Seraphym in a singles match and he has got his wish. Seraphym is still something of an unknown quantity in the ring, but even so the experienced Giedroyc will surely be a hot favourite to win this one. ROF Talisman Title Hugh de Aske © vs Don Henderson At Inferno, Hugh de Aske won the treasure of the Talisman belt from Don Henderson in possibly the best bout in ROF history over that particular title. He then successfully defended against Kevin Jones at King of the Ring when Henderson wanted to try his luck in the battle royal. Henderson was unsuccessful and now gets the chance to win back his Talisman belt. This should be a great match, as these two have real in-ring chemistry. But can de Aske pull off another win against the ROF veteran, or can the Highland Hitman get his own back? ROF Championship Merle O’Curle © vs Rolling Johnny Stones These two men never disappoint when they meet in the ring, especially when there is the ROF Championship at stake. They have been responsible for some of the best matches ever seen in ROF and this should be no exception. Stones is on a real high after his second straight King of the Ring win, whilst O’Curle is also buzzing after passing an entire year with the ROF Championship round his waist. Stones has shown he can beat O’Curle in the past, but O’Curle has held sway in recent meetings.
