ooc...for those of you with eagle eyes, here were a couple of rather difficult to see clues leading to Dark Angel's arrival. Many thanks to those that voted in our poll for who was responsible for the website messages. Although Jonathan Faust and Seraphym were the most popular choices, hopefully the appearance of Dark Angel is not too much of a disappointment for ROF fans. Walter Morgan was out of title contention at Pyromania, but did get a win over Kevin Jones. Don Henderson was unable to win back the Talisman Title in the 4-way elimination. For both men this match represents a chance to stake their claim and move up the ROF ladder as we enter the new year. Since then he qualified for the end of year Talisman 4-way, and won the belt from Hugh de Aske. Now he defends for the first time against the former champion, who has only tasted defeat once in singles matches in ROF – and that was to Merle O’Curle! Which of these young up-and-comers will leave Ashes to Ashes as Talisman champion? Dark Angel vs Jack Giedroyc After months of speculation, Dark Angel was finally revealed as the man behind the website messages. He arrived in ROF to team with his acolyte Seraphym at Pyromania, but actually was unable to get the job done against Jack Giedroyc and veteran JD Morgan. However, Angel looked strong in the bout and now gets Giedroyc one-on-one. Ever since Giedroyc eliminated Seraphym at King of the Ring, he seems to be the number one target of the ‘New Genesis’. Can he defeat Dark Angel here, or will the newcomer get his first win? ROF Tag Team Titles The Show Stealers © vs Warriors of Honour This is the tag match many ROF fans have been waiting for – the champions Show Stealers defending against the best UK tag team in recent years Warriors of Honour. Barnes and Matravers are looking good as champions since defeating Can-Am SAS for the belts back in October at Light Up The Night. The Warriors were the final elimination in the Pyromania 4-way and thus get their chance here. Fans will be divided in this one, as both teams are very popular. But only one of them can emerge from this match as tag team champions. Billy Robinson vs Merle O’Curle Two of the losers from the Pyromania main event meet here to determine who will challenge the ROF champion at next month’s Blaze of Glory event. Robinson will go in here as the underdog, but has steadily made progress in the past 12 months, and has run Merle O’Curle close in the past. The Celtic Crippler meanwhile is desperate to get what he perceives as his title back and wants another one-on-one shot at whoever is champion next month. ROF Championship Rolling Johnny Stones © vs UK Dragon UK Dragon and Rolling Johnny Stones have a mutual respect for one another, but that was tested following the Pyromania main event. He insists it was just the smart thing to do, but Dragon feels he didn’t get a fair crack at Stones in that match. Now they meet in a singles match to determine the ROF champion. Either man would be a valid champion in what is sure to be a cracking match. _______________________________ ROF Ashes to Ashes – January 2011 Don Henderson vs Walter Morgan ROF Talisman Title Nigel Svensson © vs Hugh de Aske Dark Angel vs Jack Giedroyc ROF Tag Team Titles The Show Stealers © vs Warriors of Honour Billy Robinson vs Merle O’Curle ROF Championship Rolling Johnny Stones © vs UK Dragon

Don Henderson vs Walter Morgan Whilst a Henderson win would shake things up a bit, the main event scene is already stacked. Essentially if Henderson did win he would be replacing Walter in the main event scene, and I don't think you are quite ready to do that ROF Talisman Title Nigel Svensson © vs Hugh de Aske Can't see Svensson dropping the title in his first defence and as D-Mack pointed out De Aske may have bigger commitments over the pond Dark Angel vs Jack Giedroyc Firstly you did a great way of making most us think that the man behind the messages was Jonathan Faust, yet the clues were there all along....it seems to obvious now. But I think some us forget that Dark Angel is a British Wrestler as he has worked abroad for so long. Anyway I think if Dark Angel loses in his debut match it'll make all the stuff with the strange website messages look a bit pointless. Finally who would have thought that 4 years on from 'Wez Blooze' taking over the book of ROF, that the fans would be seeing International stars like Dark Angel and Jack Giedroyc i go up against one another in an ROF ring. ROF Tag Team Titles The Show Stealers © vs Warriors of Honour I can see the Show Stealers going on to have a fairly solid run with these belts Billy Robinson vs Merle O’Curle I'm split on this one, on one hand a Robinson win would really shake things up, but it's O'Curle and he rarely goes on a proper fully fledged losing streak. ROF Championship Rolling Johnny Stones © vs UK Dragon Well the Dragon signing full time with WLW rumours seem to have died down a bit, as he's still here. But I can see RJS holding on to the title for at least a couple more months yet.

I try to have around 8 main eventers with my current size roster - I've got Stones, Dragon, O'Curle, JD Morgan, Dark Angel, Giedroyc. Really only leaves me 2 spots left, with Robinson, Henderson and Walter Morgan fighting for them. Of course, I also have the 'Giant of the Midlands' Marat Khoklov waiting in the wings!
ROF Championship Rolling Johnny Stones © vs UK Dragon Well the Dragon signing full time with WLW rumours seem to have died down a bit, as he's still here. So they won't be taking Dragon on full-time any time soon. The only real issue with him is his enormous schedule. If he works WLW 3 nights a week and does a PGHW or BHOTWG tour as well, he's basically toast by the time our events come around! BHOTWG and the development promotions are really the only ones I'm in danger of losing workers to. The others that can offer written deals (PGHW, NOTBPW, TCW, WLW) I have agreements with.

Which of the 3 men will be triumphant here? ROF Championship Rolling Johnny Stones © vs Merle O’Curle Stones has proven a good champion so far. After winning the belt from O’Curle last October, he has defeated the Irishman again, won the 4-way at Pyromania, and beaten UK Dragon at Ashes to Ashes. Now O’Curle gets another shot and will be much fancied to win back the title, given his dominant reigns in the past. Stones though is in the form of his career and knows that he is probably the one person in ROF that O’Curle has an equal win/loss record against. Their matches are always great and this should be a real treat for fans…whoever wins. ________________________________ ROF Blaze of Glory – February 2011 ROF Talisman Title Nigel Svensson © vs Greg Gauge Don Henderson vs Hugh de Aske No Disqualification Dark Angel vs ‘Wrath of God’ Jack Giedroyc ROF Tag Team Titles The Show Stealers © vs Can-Am SAS Triple Threat match Billy Robinson vs UK Dragon vs Walter Morgan ROF Championship Rolling Johnny Stones © vs Merle O’Curle

ROF Talisman Title Nigel Svensson © vs Greg Gauge He'll hold the belt a little bit longer Don Henderson vs Hugh de Aske I've just watched pirates of the caribbean so that may have influenced my choice. No Disqualification Dark Angel vs ‘Wrath of God’ Jack Giedroyc The no DQ stipulation makes things a little more interesting. I'd be tempted to say there's gonna be a run in here even though that isn't the ROF way. Still gonna stick with Dark Angel to win ROF Tag Team Titles The Show Stealers © vs Can-Am SAS I try to never go against The Show Stealers and although I might be wrong here I break the habit. Triple Threat match Billy Robinson vs UK Dragon vs Walter Morgan Dragon and RJS put on such good matches on a consistant basis why not let them have another A* match? ROF Championship Rolling Johnny Stones © vs Merle O’Curle So him and UK Dragon can have another go at getting an even better A* match. Sooner or later these two are gonna have to get a new grade added to the game to keep up with their outstanding matches!
ROF Talisman Title Nigel Svensson © vs Greg Gauge Gauge has potential, but I haven't seen enough from him to see him taking the Talisman title
It's really difficult to put Gauge across. He's talented enough to be in the Talisman picture or higher, but he's not available often because of his other commitments.

ROF Talisman Title Nigel Svensson © vs Greg Gauge You've done the slow build towards building Svensson up to this level, so I can't see you abandoning his title run now, however he'll have to make up for his disappointing first defence. Don Henderson vs Hugh de Aske De Aske no longer has the streak and usually when a streak is ended, it's followed by some kind of slump. No Disqualification Dark Angel vs ‘Wrath of God’ Jack Giedroyc Given the No DQ stip I can see there being some sort of outside interference shenanighans from Seraphym ROF Tag Team Titles The Show Stealers © vs Can-Am SAS I like D-Mack's line of thinking on this one and the tag titles and a competive rivalry between these two teams could really help the profile of the tag ranks. Triple Threat match Billy Robinson vs UK Dragon vs Walter Morgan If you're chasing the best match ratings, then it's no brainer U.K Dragon would be your choice but I feel you don't always 'chase ratings' and try to keep things interesting for the "DWC" (Dynasty Wrestling Community). Yes another Dragon match would bring great ratings but we've been there done that. You could always give another shot to Walter Morgan, but I just get the impressions he's sort of used up all his chances for now, then again you've lulled people into this sort of thinking before, only for someone who looked to be fading out of the title picture to come up with a big win. My choice however is Billy Robinson who has been hovering around the main event scene but not quite cementing his place in it. Yes he has had some suprise big wins before but they've been perceived as one offs, my feeling is that with a win in match featuring not one but two top drawer talents would really cement Robinsons place as a main event level talent in the minds of the fans. ROF Championship Rolling Johnny Stones © vs Merle O’Curle As great as O'Curle had been in his two previous title runs, it's time for someone else to carry the company on their shoulders and Stones has been doing a more than stellar job so far as champion.

ROF Talisman Title Nigel Svensson © vs Greg Gauge - Giving the title to Gauge would be a gamble due to his commitments elsewhere. And damage the nice, upward mobility Svensson's recently discovered. Svensson seems to have more long term potential with RoF... although this could be the sleeper hit of the night. Don Henderson vs Hugh de Aske - Two former Talisman champions but in a limbo between midcard and main event. As much as I like the Dread Pirate I'm giving the nod to Henderson and his near-lethal Scottish Deathlock. No Disqualification Dark Angel vs ‘Wrath of God’ Jack Giedroyc - as big a fan as I am of Giedroyc, DA needs this win more than Jessica Alba needs a successful movie. ROF Tag Team Titles The Show Stealers © vs Can-Am SAS - If I keep calling for the 'anything thing is possible in the tag division' eventually I have to be right. Don't I? Also I mark for Can-Am SAS in general and Nelson in particular. Triple Threat match Billy Robinson vs UK Dragon vs Walter Morgan - Akin to Tigerkinney's reasoning. I think UK Dragon is the only sure bet not to win. Is Billy ready for his close-up? (Danny Demon thinks so;) ) but Morgan shouldn't quite be ready to be shunted out of the main event scene. ROF Championship Rolling Johnny Stones © vs Merle O’Curle - The reward for producing an A* match is a victory over O'Curle to cement yourself amongst the greatest of the RoF champions.

ROF Blaze of Glory – February 2011 ROF Talisman Title Nigel Svensson © vs Greg Gauge With the Gauge factor of not always being avalible it doesn't seem wise to put the Talisman Title on him maybe when he is more secured in the company but for now its gotta be Svensson. Don Henderson vs Hugh de Aske As Tiger said, there is usally a slump after a streak & with Henderson just outside the main event scene it wouldn't make any sense to see him lose. No Disqualification Dark Angel vs ‘Wrath of God’ Jack Giedroyc I'v got a bit of a thing for the Dark Angel/Seraphym allience, so i can see a solid victory for D.A & revenge on the mind of The Wrath Of God. ROF Tag Team Titles The Show Stealers © vs Can-Am SAS Really digging the Show Stealers right now, with Can-Am SAS seeming a little bland for me the two high flyers should seal the deal in a long title run. Triple Threat match Billy Robinson vs UK Dragon vs Walter Morgan I'm not even gonna pretend I want anyone else to win, I'm a big fan of Billy & although he isn't ready for the title just keeping his name at the top of the card will give him alot of credability in the fans eyes. ROF Championship Rolling Johnny Stones © vs Merle O’Curle Although no title win (!st time ever? correct me if im wrong) somehow the winner of the triple threat match or one of the losers spoiles this one with a rematch/4-way next month.

I'm drunk on blurcat ROF Blaze of Glory – February 2011 ROF Talisman Title Nigel Svensson © vs Greg Gauge vs Jack Giedroyc With the Gauge factor of not always being avalible it doesn't seem wise to put the Talisman Title on him maybe when he is more secured in the company but for now its gotta be The Wrath of God. God Henderson vs Hugh de Wrath (draw). As Tiger said, there is usally a slump after a streak & with Henderson just outside the main event scene it wouldn't make any sense to see him lose. So they'll both lose. To Giedroyc. No Disqualification Seven ****er spaniels vs ‘Wrath of God’ Jack Giedroyc I'v got a bit of a thing for the The Wrath Of God. But that no DQ stipulation can be deadly where ****er spaniels are concerned. ROF Tag Team Titles The Show Stealers © vs Jak-Ie WoG. Really digging the Show Stealers right now, with Can-Am SAS seeming a little bland for me the Wrath of God is like mozzarella.. Triple Threat match Billy Robinson vs Jack Giedroyc vs UK Dragon vs Walter Morgan vs Jack Giedroyc I'm not even gonna pretend I want anyone else to win, Jack Giedroyc pins Jack Giedroyc to take this one. ROF Championship Rolling Johnny Stones © vs Jack O'Royc Although no title win (!st time ever? correct me if im wrong) somehow the winner of the triple threat match or one of the losers spoiles this one with a rematch/4-way next month and the Wrath of God eats them all in a ferociously hardcore food attack. Also: Your mom.

C O C K E R S P A N I E LS. So irritating. It isn't like ****er spaniels are dirty. It isn't like I said hot, throbbing, oversized ****er spaniels or anything, though even if I did, I'd still be talking about ****ing spaniels, not ****ing ****s. Okay. Off to the kitchen.
