ROF Fan The Flames – May 2014 ROF Talisman Title Byron © vs Petey Barnes I'm not quite sure who is fit to dethrone Byron at this point. Probably not Petey though. The Classic Element vs Kevin Jones, Leo Price & Pure Quality Dare I say it: foregone conclusion. Billy Robinson vs Walter Morgan Now, my head tells me to go with Morgan but I want Robinson to have another shot at finally cracking the main event. ROF Tag Team Titles Can-Am SAS © vs Warriors of Honour Warriors reclaim their property. Don Henderson vs Jack Giedroyc Henderson has failed once again and continues to drop down the card while Giedroyc lines up for another title shot. ROF Championship Louis Figo Manico © vs Merle O’Curle And again my head is telling me differently but I like Merle in the chasing role. And Louis' cinderella story has made me a mark for him.

ROF Talisman Title Byron © vs Petey Barnes My feeling is that at-least one of the belts will change hands on this show, and though Byron has been a solid champion, I think you'll change things up a bit here and have Petey win the belt back. The Classic Element vs Kevin Jones, Leo Price & Pure Quality Whilst it's nice to give some of ROF's lesser lights a rare PPV outing, I can't see The Classic Elemenet going down to four mid-carders (at best)/glorified jobbers (at worst) Billy Robinson vs Walter Morgan Whilst this may be a ripe opportunity for one of your established main eventers to really help elevate Billy R as a true force in the singles ranks. I think Robinson's team with Stoat still has some mileage (and they still await their title shot), so I think Walter PPK gets the win here. ROF Tag Team Titles Can-Am SAS © vs Warriors of Honour Whilst it's not unfeasible for the Warriors to win the belts back, I can't see you making the Can-Am SAS one month champions. Don Henderson vs Jack Giedroyc Henderson blew his title chance last month, living up to his McLugar moniker that some fans have given him. Giedroyc's not been in a title match for a while and like RJS a few Pay Per View's back it will feel fresh to see him in the main event again. ROF Championship Louis Figo Manico © vs Merle O’Curle I think that O'Curle's frustations will continue, and with me picking Giedroyc in the 'contenders' match this will set up a title match between 'The Fig' and 'The Wrath of God', which could be an intriguing match up as Giedroyc was the only to give Figo quite a few headaches on the former UCR owners rise to the top of ROF.
Maybe Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water are all women and Marcel changed it in the editor to allow intergender matches.
You'll be pleased to know I've still not used the editor whatsoever, so I can promise you they're not women. Which is lucky for Air, given that he/she evidently has a beard! :D
The Classic Element vs Kevin Jones, Leo Price & Pure Quality If the new stable can't beat out the enhancement group, what good are they?
Probably a little unfair to call them enhancement! That's Garrido, Milano, Par Excellence etc in this diary. I'd class Jones, Price and Pure Quality as having similar status to guys like Antonio, Samuel Smooth and the SST in your diary. Although yeah...not surprised that nobody is picking them to win! :D

ROF Talisman Title Byron © vs Petey Barnes - Byron deserves better and should be moving up to the Upper Midcard/Main Event soon. Having said that, Petey should not be rewarded with his mediocrity with another Talisman run. Since this is shot number #1008 by my reckoning, he might well. But only if Phoebe besmirches the good name of Byron! Floozy tartlet! The Classic Element vs Kevin Jones, Leo Price & Pure Quality - Nova's idea of the 'we're not jobbers as much as enhancement talents and bumping machines...' and Kevin Jones... here to midcard mainstay. Billy Robinson vs Walter Morgan - PPK snipes Billy R as Billy's 'reinvented' himself as a standing-on-the-apron tag team specialist. Go Billy Go... go stand on the apron. :D I love mocking Billy. So Solid that mockery. ROF Tag Team Titles Can-Am SAS © vs Warriors of Honour - I don't see the point in hot-shotting the belts back to WoH at this stage. Don Henderson vs Jack Giedroyc - SWERVE~~! McLugar McTopples McGiedroyc. Because Giedroyc's always one match away from being in the main evnet. Henderson needs it more. ROF Championship Louis Figo Manico © vs Merle O’Curle - I prefer Comrade O'Curle grumpy, angry and beltless. *** This is the year of the RoF swerve. Maybe it IS Milano, Garrido and Le Dupont Deux under the masks. :D... erm... ok... that's too swervy by far.

Therefore he has thrown out an open challenge to any ROF wrestler to face him for the title at Great Balls of Fire – the only people disallowed from the challenge are those who have already faced him for the title. British Samurai has already made it clear that he’s unhappy with Jeff Nova’s actions, but the Classic Element scored a tag victory over the Warriors of Honour on Cauldron. They have since held on to them but now face a tough challenge in the form of Robinson & Stoat – a duo who already hold a victory over the Can-Ams in the past. The odds are once again stacked against the Spanish Superstar here, but then he has beaten plenty of odds in the past here in ROF and O’Curle has always found him a tough opponent. ROF Talisman Title Byron © vs ??? Can see a shock victory for someone new to the title scene :). Petey Barnes & Warriors of Honour vs The Classic Element Jeff Nova to make his presence known, helping Element to victory. ROF Tag Team Titles Can-Am SAS © vs Robinson & Stoat Can-Am only recently won the titles so no chance they'll lose to Robinson & Stoat. The Great Balls Gauntlet Featuring Don Henderson, Jack Giedroyc, Joss Thompson, Rolling Johnny Stones & Walter Morgan Time for some new main event blood so has to be Thompson for me :). ROF Championship Merle O’Curle © vs Louis Figo Manico Again, only recently won the title so O'Curle to annihilate Manico :p. Trekkie, The Classis Element have already unmasked ;).

ROF Great Balls of Fire – June 2014 ROF Talisman Title Byron © vs ??? Byron's overconfidence comes back to bite him, as Wade Awesome comes over from the ROF Japan brand to claim the belt in his PPV debut and give the Talisman Division a much needed shake up. Petey Barnes & Warriors of Honour vs The Classic Element This will be a much sterner test for the Classic Element, but for them to be taken seriously as a threat they need to beat these calibre of opponents. ROF Tag Team Titles Can-Am SAS © vs Robinson & Stoat Can-Am's to prove the nay-sayers (and I'll include myself amongst them) and retain against the 'egomaniacs'. The Can-Am's need to beat someone other than the Warriors to look like great champs and not just a run of the mill team, that has a certain team's number, plus I'm sure they'll be a re-match with Robinison & Stoat, finding some excuse to blame their loss om The Great Balls Gauntlet Featuring Don Henderson, Jack Giedroyc, Joss Thompson, Rolling Johnny Stones & Walter Morgan Thompson winning throws a fresh face into the main event mix, plus it further enhances that the Classic Element are a major threat. ROF Championship Merle O’Curle © vs Louis Figo Manico Really can't see what the point would be of having O'Curle drop the belt straight back to the Fig. The Spaniard had a good run with the title, now it's time for him to gradually work his way back down the card, putting people over on his way to retirement.

ROF Great Balls of Fire – June 2014 ROF Talisman Title Byron © vs ??? - Because the ??? is... Milano! Riding his 1-88 record and massive one match momentum into the title scene! Byron should be moving up, but not until a worthy sucessor is found. Petey Barnes & Warriors of Honour vs The Classic Element - If Marcel is smart, and he generally is, he'll give the Elements some momentum or they immediately become Nova's jobbers. Sort of like how McMahon botched the WCW inVasion! So go Elements! And I like Martinez' look. ROF Tag Team Titles Can-Am SAS © vs Robinson & Stoat Because they promised me! The Great Balls Gauntlet Featuring Don Henderson, Jack Giedroyc, Joss Thompson, Rolling Johnny Stones & Walter Morgan - Joss is the obvious choice, but I'm going to take a leaf from tigerkinney's don't overpush-the-new-guy. Joss gets a bad draw, does well, but comes up short. Stones and O'Culre bring the goods. Henderson has a shot since he's been on a roll lately. ROF Championship Merle O’Curle © vs Louis Figo Manico - I'll give you warning here Marcel, at some point I'm going to steal the 'title rematch' in HaLF and just for giggles hot shot it back and forth for half a year. Just to anger the rest of my roster. In this case, O'Curle retains because as good as the Pain from Spain is I don't see you making O'Curle suddenly appear so vulnerable. Anything less than a six month reign would be considered a failure by Merle.
Yes!! I was the only one to call Morgan for the win!! I knew he always wins these multi man matches! :D And I called the Superkick too! :)
Actually it was because of you Morgan won the match! You mentioned it last year when you picked him, and I decided to run with it. Although he's been champ before, Walter isn't always someone that people tend to pick. So giving him the gimmick of 'especially good in multi-man matches' means he is a real threat any time there's a Gauntlet, 4-way, King of the Ring etc. People may wonder why Thompson was first out given the Classic Element build...Basically I didn't want him to win at this still quite early stage in the stable's ROF life, and the computer decided he'd be first eliminated as his overness is still quite low compared to the others in the match. As for Stoat & Robinson...2 such big egos can't always get along perfectly!

That looked to be one of your best events yet. Three solid undercard matches (nothing fell below a B-), an excellent Gauntlet and another classic between O'Curle and Figo to top the card. Even though I didn't get the result right in the match, I am quite proud of being the only one to call Wade Awesome as the one who would challenge Byron for the Talisman Title. I always thought you would have to eventually look towards the Japan brand for fresh challengers and you did mention that Wade was coming over to the main ROF brand at the end of the previous newsletter. As for BHOTWG.......Yasuhiko Taira- 4 time World Champion ?! Maybe in your gameworld the BHOTWG fans really lap up five minute punch-punch- power move main events  Mokuami Maita, main eventer ?- I guess Kudo (or whoever has the book) gave in to his constant demands of a better push, even though his place on the card should be that of solid but unspectacular mid-carder. Kiyaru as Junior champion, is not a bad move (he's the one guy I've regretted not doing a bit more with in my diary game, but the whole Elemental's- Dragon feud has been THE focus of the Junior Division) and the Samoan duo make sense in the tag-ranks, I was going to sign Samoan Machine in my game but he picked up a major injury.

I always feel the Talisman and tag titles should be B- at least, so Great Balls of Fire certainly delivered in my eyes. And I'm impressed that you named Awesome as the challenger - shows that you don't just skim over the newsletter! :D Card for Heat of Battle will be up within the next half-hour or so...

Martinez & Cool have climbed the rankings to join the title picture, and Jeff Nova’s stable could well achieve his first taste of ROF gold in this match. Jack Giedroyc vs ??? Over the past several months, Jack Giedroyc has been pestered by a hooded figure who has constantly appeared to stalk the Wrath of God. Sometimes it has been to interfere in matches, other times simply with a watching brief. At Great Balls Of Fire, it became one time too many for Giedroyc who challenged his hooded nemesis to a match at Heat of Battle. Giedroyc will be in the ring ready – but who will answer the challenge? And does the hooded figure even have the guts to face up to Giedroyc in a one-on-one situation? ROF Championship Merle O’Curle © vs Walter Morgan ROF fans will be looking forward to this main event – a battle of ROF originals; a battle between 2 of the world’s best technical wrestlers; a battle between Pro Wrestling Hits’ number one wrestler in 2013 (O’Curle) and 2012 (Morgan); and a battle between ROF champions past and present. Morgan has all the tools to upset O’Curle here, but the Celtic Crippler is certainly not looking to relinquish the belt so quickly after working so hard to win it back. This is shaping up to be a classic, with Morgan riding a wave of momentum with his Gauntlet match win, and O’Curle in as good a form as he’s ever showed here in ROF. Which of the master submission wrestlers will win out? ______________________________ ROF Heat of Battle – July 2014 ROF Talisman Title Byron © vs ???
