ROF Talisman Title Petey Barnes © vs Johnny Highspot I'm not sure why, but I really don't like Johnny Highspot. Of course, my dislike is completely irrational, but... Billy Robinson vs Walter Morgan Eric Future vs UK Dragon UK Dragon is pretty fantastic. Even has a great look...I'd love to pair him up with Captain USA to make a US-UK connection team, but, well, then I'd feel bad for dragging him down with Cap's lack of talent. ROF Championship Merle O’Curle © vs Stevie Stoat sounds more fun to see a post-loss Stoat interview!

Let me start off by just saying that this dynasty is amazing. I don't like ROF of the British region of TEW. I only started reading because I had ten minutes to kill and it was the top unread thread. I was so entwined that I read all nine pages in the last two days and have even been so turned by your masterpiece to start my own ROF game. This is my new favorite dynasty even over MAW Back To Basics (Sorry Shipshirt!). Your use of graphics is the best I've seen and the jurnalistic approch and writing style is creative and masterfull. ROF Talisman Title Petey Barnes © vs Johnny Highspot You have Highspot working in a team mostly, plus he has very little momentum so I say Pete retains. Billy Robinson vs Walter Morgan I think experience will win here. Eric Future vs UK Dragon Dragon is problably your most skilled worker and while Eric may have a future in the business he has no chance over the maineventer. ROF Championship Merle O’Curle © vs Stevie Stoat I see UK Dragon interfearing leading to a title change in a three way match.
Thanks for reading. It's nice to be called masterful! But I still wouldn't say that my diary holds a candle to Shipshirt's. His diary has been great for ages. Yeah, I think quite a few people would probably ignore the diary based on the fact that it's an ROF/UK Cornellverse diary as opposed to say a MAW or USPW that people might be more inclined to read because they're more likely to play that promotion themselves. But it's always nice when someone stumbles in and enjoys it! :D
ROF Championship Merle O’Curle © vs Stevie Stoat O Curle beats Stoat and Stoat freaks and attacks.

ROF Championship Merle O’Curle © vs Stevie Stoat I agree with Hexx here although I'll say I'm not to fond of al these run ins in what in my mind should be a oure fed.
This (to me) is sort of the difficulty with an ROF dynasty. I've not changed the product too much (added some modern and a tiny bit of traditional...but only what Samurai would allow!) so Apu is right in that it is still a pure fed and therefore should be booked in a pretty pure style. And I have to say that the run-ins are only temporary (and were done as a bi-product of Stoat's new sports entertainment leaning since signing for 21CW). However it is difficult building up any kind of feud without something to help it along. I'm not using angles (yet). I've got the match setting at 90% but am sticking with 100% matches in the shows at present as I am aware that any angles or hype interview I did would tank majorly at this stage (have put an occasional very short hype promos in the pre-show, but not many). Something like a post-match Stoat attack on O'Curle would be possible for me to do, but the rating would be shocking and it again wouldn't be very 'ROF'. With the characters, there's no face/heel setting for ROF either, nor does their gimmick really matter so much. So I'm trying to give them some kind of character in their website interviews, but again without it getting too ridiculous. It's a case of trying to find a balance to keep the diary interesting and not getting away from the promotion's key values and features, as I don't really want to turn the promotion away too much from something it isn't. But the other difficulty (I find) with ROF is that the UK workers are generally pretty poor that you're likely to be stuck with the same guys at the top of your cards, and therefore matches can get a little monotonous. So far I've managed in 10 months (40 shows) to have no match take place more than 3 times (Samurai vs Dragon has had 3 runs, as has O'Curle vs Dragon) in the knowledge that until some workers have their skill levels improved, I'm going to be stuck with the same main eventers for a good while and will therefore need to run the same matches. I think the difficulty with this diary as it goes along will be keeping people's interest in the top matches when many of the same workers are involved, without having the ability to use many angles to build any further interest. But we'll see how it goes. Enough rambling...next newsletter will be up later today. I think all my 'regulars' have chimed in with their predictions now. :)

I thought you were going to win the title at your earliest opportunity? SS: Stevie Stoat would be standing here right now with that championship belt around his waist if it weren’t for UK Dragon coming down to the ring and interfering in the match. I had O’Curle beaten and it was only a matter of time before I nailed that super kick to begin my second reign as champion. JB: To be fair, Dragon didn’t exactly interfere. He only came to the ring to watch the match at closer quarters. It was just that you started mouthing off at him and got distracted. SS: I’ll wrap that tie round your scrawny little neck in a minute, Blackham. Of course he interfered. I don’t see Monotone Man or Lizard Boy getting a former ROF champion for a warm-up, do you? They’ve definitely given Stevie Stoat the toughest assignment. But then I come to expect it. I’m the superior athlete that works for the biggest wrestling company in the UK so it only figures that I’ll get the short end of the stick when it comes to the booking team in this place. Personally I'd read this for the interviews alone, you've really found a great way of getting across the personalities of the wrestlers without really straying too far away from the Pure product of ROF. I must confess that this dynasty had completely slipped under my radar, mainly due I guess to a personal lack of love/use of the UK TEW scene. I'm not very far in at all yet, but I love the newsletter theme... you've definitely got a flair for writing the articles Marcel. It's also pretty pleasing on the eye.
Dude - you are a machine. Can't believe how quickly you can turn out high quality cards (with graphics, mind you).
I'm quite a bit ahead in game terms (about 6 months). I'm also on my holidays from work right now so have quite a bit of time on my hands to play the game. But basically I do the newsletters as I go along in game, and as the format doesn't really change, it doesn't take me too long to get those done now. The way I set out the cards for predictions with the pictures I've got sorted now as well, so that doesn't take as long. So even if I don't get to play the game much (like today...taking the missus shopping...grrr) I can just come in later on and post up the next newsletter because it's already there waiting. The only time I need to change up an old newsletter is if somebody has made a comment on here that I think might be worth sneaking in there somewhere. The bit that takes more time now is the interview each week. I'm only adding those in as I go along, mainly so that I can incorporate any reader feedback there as well amongst the questioning. At the moment it's working out that I can get a fortnightly newsletter up each day, but that might eventually slow down.

Justin Blackham met up with him. JB: Welcome to ROF, Keith. KA: Thanks, Justin. It’s great to be here. JB: Since your arrival, you’ve racked up a couple of useful wins over K’Lee Hawkins and Lance Martin. How have you found competing in an ROF ring so far? KA: I’ve just been glad to get back into it. Since my spell in 21CW, I’ve only wrestled a few independents so I’m still getting rid of a little ring rust. I’ve been pleased with the victories but there’s still more to come from me. JB: This week you’re down to face Johnny Highspot on Short Fuse. Your paths crossed briefly in 21CW. What do you think of him? KA: Johnny’s a good guy, although he can act like a prat at times. I just wish I’d been the commanding officer on his famous camel arrest. I’d love to have been there. He’s pretty talented in the ring but he wrestles a completely different style to me. I’ll aim to get him grounded and then tie him up so he can’t use any of his aerial skills. He’ll be taken down In Evidence. JB: Ah yes, that’s what you’ve called your submission move, isn’t it? KA: Yes, I have two particular favourite moves. In Evidence and You’re Nicked. One’s a submission move and the other aims to get my opponent pinned. But they’re just fancy names for pretty straightforward manoeuvres. In Evidence is really a sleeper-like move but with a high impact start to it. You’re Nicked is a kind of inverted powerbomb. JB: What do you see in your future in ROF? KA: Realistically I’m looking at the Talisman title picture. I think some of the wrestlers are focused more on the tag belts at the moment which leaves an opening for someone like me. Maybe one day I’ll get a shot at the ROF Championship, but for now the Talisman is probably more my level. JB: That’s a pretty honest assessment. In fact, honesty is one of your qualities. Tell us about the time you chased a criminal whilst in the middle of a match. KA: Yeah, I get asked about that one a lot. It was an independent show in Birmingham and I was facing Chris Everton. There wasn’t much of a crowd, which is probably why I spotted the guy. I’d just got in the ring and the bell had rung. I was circling Chris when I saw him – he was up for a theft the previous evening but we hadn’t been able to locate him when we went to his home. So I jumped out of the ring and over the barriers and managed to arrest him. Worst thing was that the match had officially begun and I was actually counted out. I think that was probably the last time Chris won a match! JB: Last question…if you could arrest one person in ROF, who would it be? KA: Present company excluded? Only kidding, Justin. I reckon Stevie Stoat could probably do with a few days inside just to bring him down to earth a bit. And Lance Martin so he wouldn’t have a decent mirror for a while. But I think the guys in the locker room here are generally a good bunch. And anyway, I’m sure none of them want to step on the wrong side of ‘The Law’.
Predictions Johnny Highspot vs Keith Adams UK Dragon vs Walter Morgan ROF Talisman Title Triple Threat Petey Barnes © vs Billy Robinson vs Don Henderson Exhibition Match Donny Damage vs Merle O’Curle
