All four men got the crowd going in the opening moments of this contest, and they were truly interested as a lot was on the line in the match. The Blondes showed their experience together as they dominated the action for the majority of the match. This advantage started to go away when the speed of Aerial Assault shined through and they took over the action. They threw Golden out of the ring, then took out Savage with a high low, then hit their signature move, the flying legdrop and Strong Sault combo for the successful title defense. Winners and Still Mid Atlantic Tag Team Champions: Aerial Assault Match Time: 12:19 Match Rating: D ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Antonio makes his way out to the ring for his match with D.C. Rayne, but before his match he has something to say to the crowd, who give him a surprisingly warm reception. Antonio I’m sure that you all saw the man that taught me the ropes in this business, and the man who helped me win the RCI, Rip Chord, turn his back on me and support the flavor of the week, Casey Valentine. Well I say good riddance. Sure Rip helped me win the RCI, but where was he after that? He just left me on my own, and as I tried to keep playing by Rip’s rules, things did not go my way all the time. Well now it’s time to do things my way, the right way. No more will I do what Rip told me, it doesn’t matter how you win as long as you win. I’ll win the right way and gain the respect of my peers and you fans, that’ll take me farther than Rip ever could, and that all starts in this next match. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Antonio vs. D.C. Rayne Antonio showed his new mentality by offering a handshake to D.C. Rayne, but Antonio played on the dirty side before so he knew what was coming and ducked a DC Rayne cheap shot attempt. Antonio then proceeded to wrestle circles around Rayne, who could not get his hands on the smaller man. He spun around Rayne’s back once and locked in a crucifix, and Rayne’s back and arms were screaming in pain. He finally got his hands on Antonio and used his power to physically dominate the smaller man. He then set up for his new finisher, the running powerbomb, but Eddie Howard made his way out. Rayne began to yell at Howard, which allowed Antonio to sneak up behind and roll up Rayne for the big victory thanks to the other half of the former tag champs, Natural Storm. Winner: Antonio Match Time: 10:31 Match Rating: D ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Des Davids vs. Casey Valentine Sure Casey Valentine is under the tutelage of Rip Chord, but this month Valentine had to go up against one of the strongest men to ever grace the MAW ring. Valentine showed that this was just his second match as he came out of the gate flying at Davids. Davids just let the nineteen year old kid wear himself out using Davids as a punching bag, and when he stopped for a breather Davids leveled him with a clothesline. He then threw the young man around the ring like a ragdoll, then after a powerslam he waited for him to rise, and when he did Davids leveled him with a Quarterback Sack for the victory. Winner: Des Davids Match Time: 10:03 Match Rating: D+ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Davis Newton makes his way out to the ring for his match with the lightning quick Fox Mask. He grabs a microphone before the match to address the crowd. Davis Newton Well here we are, Where It All Begins Again, Mid Atlantic Wrestling’s biggest event of the year. And I, being their biggest star, should be in the main event of this grand event. But wait, MAW booking decides to put me in a match with a man that wears the pelt of some woodland creature on his face. That makes no sense. I’m here to get down to business, and this guy’s wearing wildlife on his face, what’s up with that? So let’s get this freak show out here so a real man can show him how to get it done in the ring. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fox Mask vs. Davis Newton Fox Mask came out to a huge ovation, and he quickly look to show Newton that he was the real deal with quick slap kicks, and Newton was running around the ring trying to defend against the bee sting like kicks from the man dawning the mask of the fox. Fox Mask then went to his aerial offense with a double axe handle, but Newton wrapped his arms around Fox’s waist to brace from the impact, then took him over with a belly to belly suplex. Newton then dominated the action with his great technical ability, and Fox Mask’s speedy offense was considerably slowed down. Newton then decided that the match should be over and set Fox up for the Fisherman’s Suplex, but Mask was able to roll out of it, then nailed Newton with the Fox Hunter and got the victory. Winner: Fox Mask Match Time: 16:56 Match Rating: D ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Steven Parker comes down to the ring, and the crowd begins to buzz knowing that they are going to see the great wrestler from the land of the rising sun, Burning EXILE. Steven Parker So, you’re all excited are you? Just because a man from Japan is coming to MAW? Why are you all excited, this man was the headliner of a promotion, and what did that promotion do? They went under in bankruptcy didn’t they? Let me tell you all a little secret, we are not in the Far East. This is Steven Parker’s territory, this isn’t Burning EXILE’s territory. MAW is my company, and I’ll be damned if I let some mask wearing high flyer from Japan come in a take it over! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Burning EXILE vs. Steven Parker Burning EXILE came out ready to give these MAW fans some of the quickest action they have ever seen in a ring. Unlike most high flyers, EXILE uses his arsenal very wisely and does not go to the well too many times. This became evident when Parker whipped him in the corner and he sprung to the top rope and came back with a moonsault onto Parker. Everything Parker tried EXILE had an answer for, which frustrated the former Mid Atlantic Champion to no end. EXILE took down Parker with a brainbuster, then as he rose to one knee EXILE climbed up that knee and connected with a Shining Wizard. He then headed up top and looked around the crowd for approval, and when he looked back at Parker he was charging at him and crotched him on the turnbuckle by shaking the ropes. Parker then lifted a doubled over EXILE onto his shoulders, then spun him off with the Future Shock and got the victory. Winner: Steven Parker Match Time: 20:56 Match Rating: C ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The music of The Mean Machine plays and he heads out to the ring with contract in hand. He goes to ringside and hands it off to the timekeeper and heads into the ring with microphone in hand. The Mean Machine Tonight is the big night. Tonight is the night that I cash in my guaranteed title contract, and become the first two-time Mid Atlantic Champion. I won’t waste all your time telling you why I deserve this championship, because you all know that I’m the best thing that MAW has ever seen. So let’s get this snot nosed punk out here so that he can give me my championship. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mid Atlantic Championship Mainstream Hernandez vs. The Mean Machine The crowd was absolutely buzzing after seeing a great night of action so far, and the biggest match of them all was about to take place. The crowd was big time pro Mainstream Hernandez, and they started a great boo-cheer exchange when the men would trade punches. Machine controlled the early goings with his technical prowess, but Mainstream quickly started to come back with his quick paced offense. The fans thought they were going to see a quick ending when Mainstream went up for a Shooting Star Press, but Machine rolled out of range, perhaps saving himself at that point. The two fought furiously for a few more minutes until Mainstream went for the superkick, but Machine caught his foot and turned that into a Sharpshooter. Mainstream screamed out in pain, and when it looked like he was ready to tap he made his way to the bottom rope. After some more back and forth action Mainstream headed up top and flew off the ropes for a flying clothesline, but Machine ducked the contact, but locked his arm around the body of Hernandez, then took him over with a huge Mood Swing, then covered Mainstream, who’s shoulder came up shortly after the three count, meaning The Mean Machine is the first two time champion in MAW history. Two more shows left on the schedule for this run of events, four people that could easily win, but don't expect the cards to get any easier to predict. I've decided also that the person that wins will receive a list of people that can challenge for the Mid Atlantic Championship at February's event, then they will pick who they want and I'll incorporate it in a snazzy little angle at the RCI that should be entertaining.

MAW Fallout Live From Stanley Hall Saturday, November Week 4, 2007 Special Reward Tag Match Mainstream Hernandez and Antonio vs. The Mean Machine and Steven Parker Last month saw The Mean Machine take back his Mid Atlantic Championship, and now this month he must tag with a man who held that title for over a year, Steven Parker. They will be facing former Mid Atlantic Champion Mainstream Hernandez and current RCI winner Antonio. The catch though is that there is a special reward for each side winning, but Rip Chord will not reveal it until after the main event of the event is over, which adds a huge element of mystery to this match. Fox Mask vs. Oscar Golden Fox Mask has been rolling ever since he made his MAW debut, and he looks to keep that going this month when he faces off with one half of the Canadian Blondes, Oscar Golden, who is looking to get some sort of a singles career rolling in MAW. Kashmir Singh vs. Stan Manna A few months ago Stan Manna shocked alot of people by giving then champion Mainstream Hernandez a run for his money and almost winning the Mid Atlantic Championship. Now he must face off with the very dangerous Kashmir Singh, who is ready to roll again after a month of rest. Aerial Assault vs. Mark Smart and Max Mayhem The teams that could possibly challenge Aerial Assault for the titles are mighty short, so makeshift teams have begin cropping up in hopes of giving Aerial Assault a run for their money, and the first of those to get a match with the tag team champions are the high flying team of Mark Smart and Max Mayhem. Special Reward Match: Mainstream Hernandez and Antonio vs. The Mean Machine and Steven Parker Could go either way, but with the reward stipulation, logic says the faces win, with both being rewarded with a title shot against MM. Fox Mask vs. Oscar Golden Fox continues to build momentum and his popularity on the East Coast with another glorified squash. Kashimir Singh vs. Stan Manna Singh has enjoyed a steady mid-card push so far and whilst Manna did have a suprisingly decent title match against Mainstream, you've not really put alot of effort into portraying his 'rock star' character and that gives me the impression you're treating Manna as little more than a jobber right now. Aerial Assault vs. Mark Smart and Max Mayhem I take it this is non title, still either way two random jobbers aren't going to beat AA. Though it confirms how much of a sorry state the tag division is in right now. Aerial Assault are fine as champs, but they have zero legitimate challengers.

Mayhem and Smart knew that they had to take out the legs of Aerial Assault to keep them from flying. This worked for a few minutes, but the speed of Aerial Assault was too great and they unleashed their artillery on Smart and Mayhem, who had no answer for them. Mark Smart was thrown out of the ring, then Aerial Assault hit a high-low on Mayhem, then they hit the combination Flying Legdrop and Strong Sault, and the champions were victorious again. Manna has a new outlook on his wrestling career after coming very close to capturing the Mid Atlantic Championship from Mainstream Hernandez. Manna controlled the start of the match and countered the power and technical game of Singh, but he didn’t take into account that Singh can fly, and he took Manna down with a plancha dive, and it was all Singh from there. Singh controlled the match, then hit Manna with the Running Powerslam, and he was victorious once again. Fox Mask used his great speed to get the advantage like he does in the majority of his matches, but Oscar Golden then showed that he can hold his own in the ring as he held Fox Mask off for a few minutes. Golden even looked like he might be able to pull the victory out on a few occasions, but Fox Mask’s experience shined through and he was able to get the upper hand on Golden with the Fox Hunter for the victory. This caused Mainstream and Antonio to be able to use their teamwork to isolate Parker as Machine had to stand by and be a bystander he watched them tear apart the former champion. Parker used some underhanded tactics to get over to Machine and make the tag, then they took control. After Machine dominated the action he was near the corner when Parker slapped him on the back to make a tag into himself. Machine did not like this at all and got in Parker’s face. Parker walked by him and went to hit Mainstream with the Future Shock, but Machine’s temper got the best of him and he chop blocked Parker, allowing Mainstream to fall on top and get the pinfall for the victory.
