Canadian Fire Pro The North American Wrestling scene is full of alternatives. From you’re traditional to you’re modern. High Flyers to brawlers, Family Friendly to Risque! But wrestling fans can never get enough. And it looks like wrestling fans are about to get a little bit more. Especially if you happen to be Canadian! Canada has long been known for it’s great wrestling tradition. North of The Border Pro Wrestling regularly put on amazing matches that challenge for Match of The Year. Canadian Golden Combat brings the Sports Entertainment that the mainstream fans love, and 4C is the underground alternative. But now there is a forth choice, Canadian Fire Pro. Do you remember Zarnold Quigmann? No, you probably don’t. Most people don’t. Well back in the day, Zarnold was part of the Frat Boyz with Duke Powell in AICW. That’s about it though. He soon left the business to join his dads Car Dealership. That you’ll probably have heard of if you’re from Canada. Superior Cars, grew to be one of the biggest Car Dealerships in Canada. And Zarnold Quigmann became rich, with the whole world forgetting he used to be a Frat Boy. But he’s back. Back with a promotion of his own, and with his nephew, like many other promotions before them, they plan to change wrestling. Their first show is planned for the last Saturday of February 2007 at Twin Elm Park in Ontario.

Canadian Fire Pro Roster THE MAIN EVENT Name: Steve Flash Gimmick: Old School Face Finisher: Flash Bang (Hot Shot) Trademarks: Dream Hold, Running Knee Lift Honours: CGC World Tag Team, NOTBPW Tag Team (x2), NYCW Tri-State Regional, RPW World (x3) Style: Regular Aliases: Remarkable Tag Partners/Allies: Notable Rivals: Bio: “Remarkable” Steve Flash is a great all-rounder, who has been highly in demand for virtually his entire career thanks to his ability to make even the least talented opponent look good. It was Steve Flash’s ability that saw him be such an integral part of the Canadian Wrestling Scene in the 90’s and play a leading role in Rapid Pro Wrestling during the East Coast Wars, which saw him get his deserving World Title Reigns. His lack of Charisma and now his age seem to prevent him from being signed by any of the big companies at the moment, but Canadian Fire Pro think Steve Flash deserves one more chance to reach the top. ----- Name: Zeus Maximillion Finisher: Thunderbolt (Sitout Powerbomb), Olympian Clutch (Camel Clutch) Trademark: Double Underhook Suplex, Swinging Uranage Gimmick: Egomaniac Honours: Style: Entertainer Aliases: "The Bronzed God” Tag Partners/Allies: Notable Rivals: Bio: "The Bronzed God" Zeus Maxmillion is quite highly respected in the wrestling industry for being a true all-rounder, being able to work well with just about everyone, regardless of style. That, combined with his consistency and charisma, makes him a really valuable asset to any company, as CGC have found since his debut in 2005. Canadian Fire Pro also wish to capitalize on the all round game of Zeus and have hired him to their roster. ----- Name: Omar Brown Finisher: Anaconda Vice, Neck Trauma Suplex Trademark: Slingshot Suplex, Head And Arm Suplex, Half Nelson Suplex Gimmick: Bad Ass Honours: Style: Regular Aliases: Dog Fyte Tag Partners/Allies: Notable Rivals: Bio: Omar Brown (real name Darryl Freeman) is a legitimate bad ass fighter from Canada. Brown is short in height, but makes up for that by being extremely densely muscled, and that physique and low center of gravity allows him to throw much bigger men around with suplexes. That, mixed with his background in street fighting, makes him a dangerous customer. He spent years on the independent circuit under the name Dog Fyte, but switched to Omar Brown when NOTBPW signed him in 2007 on a PPA contract, which is fortunate for CFP as they hope to capitalize on Omar Brown’s weekly exposure in NOTBPW. ----- Name: Stevie Grayson Finisher: Sleeper Hold Neckbreaker, Twisting Neckbreaker Trademark: Rolling Wheel Kick, Leaping DDT Gimmick: Fun Babyface Honours: TCW Cruiserweight (x2) Style: Regular Aliases: Tag Partners/Allies: Troy Tornado, Wolf Hawkins Notable Rivals: Bio: Stevie Grayson is a decent, competent high flier. He first came to fame with HGC (later TCW), who brought him in to become part of their cruiserweight division in 2001. However, it was in the tag team ranks that he would have his most success; first with Troy Tornado as "The All-American Boys", and once Troy moved on to bigger and better things as a solo star, he formed an exciting team with Wolf Hawkins as "Youth Gone Wild". Now a free agent, CFP hope to benefit from Stevie Grayson’s well known name. ----- Name: Fumihiro Ota Finisher: Ninja Strike (Running Enziguri Kick) Trademark: Roundhouse Kick, Reverse DDT Neckbreaker, Glittering Magician Knee Gimmick: Ninja Honours: TCW Cruiserweight (x5), TCW Cruiserweight Tag Team (x3) Style: Cruiserweight Aliases: Super Ninja Tag Partners/Allies: Kazuma Narato Notable Rivals: Bio: "Super Ninja" Fumihiro Ota is a Japanese born fighter, who moved with his family to California when he was still young. He first came to people's attention on the West Coast independent scene, and that caused TCW to sign him to headline their cruiserweight division in 1999. He went on to become hugely over, winning the Cruiserweight championship five times, and the tag titles three times (with Kazuma Narato). Unfortunately, the division was cut in 2005, and that led to him being released. Since then he has traveled the independent circuit, and now adds CFP to his dates. ----- Name: Trent Shaftner Finisher: Heart Burn (Sitout Underhook Facebuster) Trademark: Flying Body Press, Seated Face Plant Gimmick: Surfer Dude Honours: Style: Entertainer Aliases: “Young Leo”, “Delicious Danny” Tag Partners/Allies: K-Squared Notable Rivals: Bio: Trent Shaffer is a very exciting young talent from Canada. When he first made his pro debut in 2004, he was the promising-but-bland Young Leo. He showed enough talent to get hired by CGC in 2005 though, and they repackaged him as Delicious Danny, one half of the teen idol tag team The Varsity Boys. Again, that identity lasted only a year; the CGC creative team, seeing his overwhelming potential, ditched his partner and turned him into the ****y prima donna Trent Shaffer instead. Now he has the opportunity to show his talent in a more serious light in CFP ----- Name: Sayeed Ali Finisher: G.B.H. Driver (Implant DDT) Trademark: East Side Forearm, Stump Piledriver Gimmick: Hired Gun Honours: Style: Brawler Aliases: “The East Side Assassin” Tag Partners/Allies: Shane Winters Notable Rivals: Bio: Known as "The East Side Assassin", Sayeed Ali used to work under the name Leroy, and was looked at as a very hot prospect, mixing raw street fighting with a hard-hitting Japanese style of work to create a very unique attack. In September 2006 he made a spectacular debut for 4C in Canada, aligning himself with the Thug Life tag team to commit a violent assault on their world champion Barry Kingman. He has since been riding a huge wave of momentum with the promotion and in Canada as a whole, and CFP hiring him just shows the potential that he has. ----- Name: Shane Winters Finisher: Headshot (Half Nelson into DDT), Cruel Winter (Half Boston Stretch - Knee into back and leg over head) Trademark: Single Arm Release Explosion Suplex, Spining Forearm Gimmick: Rapper Honours: Style: Cruiserweight Aliases: “Industries Most Wanted” Tag Partners/Allies: Sayeed Ali Notable Rivals: Bio: The Nephew of Zarnold Quigmann, was brought in to help him with his new venture, Canadian Fire Pro as the head booker. More talented than his uncle ever was, perhaps thanks to Zarnold providing the funds for his training and getting him some training with the likes of Acid and Steve Flash. As a result he is good at everything but not great at anything. ----- Name: Mario Heroic Finisher: Hero Attack (Charging Elbow Blow to the Forehead), Trademark: Destroy Piledriver, Vertebrae Destroyer Gimmick: Mysterious Honours: Coastal Zone Championship, Campeon de Menor SOTBPW Style: Entertainer Aliases: “The Enigmatic One” Tag Partners/Allies: Notable Rivals: Bio: "The Enigmatic One" Mario Heroic is a flashy high flier who has a weird charisma to him, one which has gotten him a cult following wherever he has gone. Over the years he has wrestled all around the world, and is probably most famous for his stints in CGC and CZCW (where he held the Coastal Zone Championship in 2003). Recently he has been making a living in SOTBPW in Mexico. Mario is particularly noted for his elaborate entrances, which occasionally last longer than his matches. ----- Name: William Hayes Finisher: Slick Trick (Spinning Underhook Fallaway) Trademark: Hayes Fever Backbreaker (STO Into Knee), Running Fireman Slam, Rolling Vertical Suplexes Gimmick: Legitimate Athlete Honours: PGHW International Style: Regular Aliases: “Slick Willy” Tag Partners/Allies: Frankie Perez Notable Rivals: Bio: William Hayes is an American worker, currently making a name for himself in the East with PGHW. Breaking into the sport in the US in 1999, and then calling himself "Slick Willy", he was quickly tipped for success based upon his natural charisma and athleticism. However, for some reason, he never got the break expected. In 2003 he toured with PGHW for the first time, and showed such potential that the company took the unusual step of offering him a full time position on the roster. He accepted. MIDCARDER TALENTS Name: The Great Hisato Finisher: Mystic Dragon Wave (Roll Through Tiger Suplex) Trademark: Jade Warrior Plunge (Flying Cross Body after walking the tope rope), Green Emerald Future (Hurdle Top Rope into Rana Outside) Gimmick: Old School Heel Honours: Burning Junior Championship, World Level Tag Team (x3), World Level Universal Style: Super Junior Aliases: Tag Partners/Allies: Burning Exile, Yoshii Shiomi Notable Rivals: Bio: The Great Hisato is a very talented high flier, who unfortunately has become just as well known for his massive ego as for his incredible performances. Originally he was part of the BHOTWG Junior division, having broken through the youth ranks of the promotion, and even held the prestigious Burning Junior title for a while. His poor attitude saw him eventually get fired though, and he has been left to try and pick up the pieces of his career with World Level Wrestling instead. Name: Rhino Umaga Finisher: Rhino Charge (Corner Spear) Trademark: Samoan Crab (Boston Crab), Running Body Smash Gimmick: Wild Man Honours: GCG World Heavyweight Tag Team Style: Brawler Aliases: Tag Partners/Allies: Akima Brave, Samoan Machine Notable Rivals: Bio: Rav "Rhino" Umaga, the elder brother of SWF's Akima Brave, is a second generation Samoan competitor who has been steadily building a career in Japan for the past few years as a formidable power-based fighter. He is probably best known for his regular tag team with Samoan Machine in Golden Canvas Grappling, with the duo having been one of the most dominant in the company over the past two years. Tough as nails and very talented, many think that Rhino can go on to greatness. Name: Yoshii Shiomi Finisher: Sublime Crossface (Crossface with other Arm Held Back with the Head) Trademark: Belly to Belly Suplex, Flying Headbutt Gimmick: Loner Honours: Style: Super Junior Aliases: “The Sublime” Tag Partners/Allies: The Great Hisato Notable Rivals: Bio: "The Sublime" Yoshii Shiomi is a flashy high flier, who since 2003 has been one of the staples of the world famous BHOTWG junior division. He made his pro debut in 2000, but soon headed to Canada where he worked as an enhancement talent for NOTBPW while being trained by the legendary Jeremy Stone. He returned to Japan in 2002, and now armed with the technical skills that Stone had taught him, was soon establishing himself as one of the most watchable junior wrestlers around. Name: Mainstream Hernandez Finisher: Apparition #14 (Shooting Star Press), Super Kick Trademark: Fever Beat (Single Arm DDT), Terminal Invasion (Reverse Face Plant) Gimmick: Rock Star Honours: Rip Chord Invitational Challenge 06 Style: Entertainer Aliases: Tag Partners/Allies: Erik Strong Notable Rivals: Bio: James "Mainstream" Hernandez is a charismatic Canadian high flier, who has become a cult favourite with Mid Atlantic Wrestling fans. He was a member of the initial MAW roster when it first began, although he was originally a tag team wrestler, working alongside Erik Strong as Call To Action. In January 2006 he took his first steps toward singles greatness when he won the very first annual Rip Chord Invitational tournament, and as 2007 begins he is in the hunt for the MAW singles championship. Name: Rudy Velasquez Finisher: Street Cutter (Cutter) Trademark: Running Clothesline, Rana Gimmick: Gangsta Honours: Style: Regular Aliases: “The Latin Messiah” Tag Partners/Allies: Notable Rivals: Bio: Rudy Velasquez is one third of The Latino Kings, three young Latin American workers who were trained privately by Shawn Gonzalez, and then made their debuts in late 2006 for DAVE. Their gritty gang-related characters quickly saw them get over with the fans. Rudy is probably the best worker of the three, mixing speed with good technique, and a natural understanding of psychology. He regularly teams up with Hector Galindo, and the two make a pretty good tag team. Name: Frankie Perez Finisher: P-Clutch (Camel Clutch With Knee to Back), Perfect Parity (Ultimate Fisherman Buster) Trademark: Triple Kick Combo, Corner Belly To Back Suplex Gimmick: Martial Artisit Honours: Coastal Zone Xtreme Style: Puroresu Aliases: “P-Dawg” Tag Partners/Allies: William Hayes Notable Rivals: Bio: "P-Dawg" Frankie Perez is a talented young wrestler from California, who has swiftly risen to cult stardom with CZCW. A hard-hitter, Frankie is well known for his ultra stiff kicks, and it is his ultra-violent no-nonsense style of attack that has made him a huge favourite with tape traders and Internet fans around the world. A true student of the game, as 2007 begins, he is not only looking to continue to rise in CZCW, but has also made it clear that he'd like to travel to Japan to compete. Name: Joss Thompson Finisher: Clean Cutter (Spinning Back Suplex Bomb) Trademark: German Suplex, Second Rope Forearm Drop Gimmick: Patriot Honours: MOSC UK Champion, 21st Century World Style: Regular Aliases: “The Complete Package” Tag Partners/Allies: Notable Rivals: Bio: Joss Thompson calls himself "The Complete Package", and it's easy to see why; he combines good wrestling skills with looks and charisma. An American, he struggled on the independent circuit for a while before heading to the UK to live. He joined MOSC, where his ****y heel character led him to huge success, being one of the most dominant champions for a long time. In 2006 he was cherry-picked by Jeff Nova's revitalised 21CW to be one of its new major stars, and so he left MOSC behind. Name: Adam Matravers Finisher: Mile High Moonsault Trademark: Backflip Kick, Dropsault, Side Bodyslam Driver, Flying Flip Neckbreaker Gimmick: Underdog Honours: Ring of Fire Tag Team (x2) Style: Cruiserweight Aliases: “Mile High” Tag Partners/Allies: Petey Barnes Notable Rivals: Bio: "Mile High" Adam Matravers is a talented all-round worker, specializing in high flying action. He is considered to be one of the most naturally talented UK worker of his generation. Toward the end of 2006 he was teaming with Petey Barnes in ROF as The Show Stealers and getting rave reviews. When 21CW were taken over by Jeff Nova and got a TV deal they became able to basically hand-pick any worker they wanted, and Matravers was one of their first signings, showing how highly rated he is. Name: Mikey James Finisher: Katahajime (Choke Hold Half Nelson), Dragonplex (Full Nelson Suplex) Trademark: Rolling Single Leg Lock, S.T.O., Triple Kick Combo, Rear Naked Punch Flurry Gimmick: Time Traveller Honours: Style: Cruiserweight Aliases: “The Dragon” Tag Partners/Allies: Notable Rivals: Bio: "The Dragon" Mikey James is a rookie worker who has only been in the business a short while. A dedicated student of the martial arts, Mikey is a black belt in karate, and a former championship-calibre kick boxer. In late 2006 he was brought into the new RIPW promotion, SWF's feeder league, to see if his unique character could be developed into something fitting for the major leagues. Name: Marco Flores Finisher: Flores Heaven Elbow (Flying Elbow Drop) Trademark: Lazo (Lariat Clothesline), Lucha Spinning Head Scissors, Moonsault Press Gimmick: Degenerate Honours: Campeon de Universal OLLIE (x2) Style: Luchador Aliases: “King of Leon” Tag Partners/Allies: Notable Rivals: Bio: Marcos Flores is a superb high flying luchador, and a veteran of the sport at a relatively young age. He is best known for his OLLIE work, where he is a former two time champion of the company and has had dozens of great matches. He is often called the "King Of Leon" by his legions of fans, as he is particularly popular in his hometown. Flores' trademark is the hang time he can get on his aerial attacks, especially his visually devastating "Flores Heaven Elbow" finisher. Name: SUKI Finisher: SUKI Special III (Angular Armbar), Mountain SUKI (Trapping Suplex) Trademark: Multiple Kicks To Knee, Japanese Backdrop Suplex Gimmick: Straight Edge Honours: Style: Technician Aliases: Tag Partners/Allies: Notable Rivals: Bio: SUKI is Ryunosuke Matsuki, a technically gifted young wrestler who was trained in the Golden Canvas Grappling dojo. While his talent was evident, he graduated at a time when GCG were trying to cut costs, and so he was never brought onto the main roster. Instead, he went to the independent scene, where he wrestled under his real name for a year. In 2006, as well as debuting an awesome new "dickish heel" persona, he changed his ring name to SUKI to reflect the change in attitude. LOWER CARDERS Name: Joey Beuchamp Finisher: Breeze Block (Corkscrew Senton) Trademark: Tornado DDT, Leg Lariat Gimmick: ****y Youth Honours: UCR European (x2) Style: Cruiserweight Aliases: “The Breeze” Tag Partners/Allies: Notable Rivals: Bio: Joey "The Breeze" Beauchamp is a good looking youngster from Oxford in the UK. He first came to attention toward the end of 2004, when he became a regular with UCR in Europe, playing the role of a ****y arrogant heel really well (his catchphrase: "I am cool, I am The Breeze"). Joey is a decent high flier, with exceptional charisma, and many see him as being destined for stardom. He is dating fellow UCR star Anna Ki. Name: Phoenix II Finisher: Northern Lights Suplex Trademark Moves: Slingshot Knee Drop Honours: Campeones de Parejas OLLIE, Campeones de Trios OLLIE (x2) Style: Luchador Aliases: Tag Partners/Allies: Phoenix III Notable Rivals: Bio: Phoenix II is a solidly talented luchador, who in 1996 became the second man to don the famous Phoenix mask. He has become best known as something of a tag team specialist; first having a successful run alongside Phoenix I, and then teaming with Phoenix III on a regular basis after his debut in 1999. In the more than seven years they have been together, Dos Phoenix have become famous for their slick double-teams and trademark stereo plancha dives. Name: Phoenix III Finisher: High Velocity Legdrop Trademark Moves: Sunsetflip bomb Honours: Campeones de Parejas OLLIE, Campeones de Trios OLLIE (x2) Style: Luchador Aliases: Tag Partners/Allies: Phoenix II Notable Rivals: Bio: Phoenix III is the third luchador to have worn the legendary mask, making his debut under the hood in 1999. His real identity is a closely guarded secret, but there have been persistent rumours ever since his debut that he may have honed his craft prior to becoming a Phoenix by working for MPWF without a mask. He is probably most famous for teaming with Phoenix II, as they are regularly cited as the smoothest, most watchable tag team in lucha libre history.

CANADIAN FIRE PRO NEWS The date has been booked, and now the name has been chosen for Canadian Fire Pro’s first official event, Crowning Achievement. This show will crown two singles champions and the first tag team champions in CFP history. The CFP World Title is the top honour in CFP and means that you are on top of the mountain. At Crowning Achievement, four wrestlers will fight for the right to be the first ever CFP World Champion, as they will fight off in singles competition. The two winners will then face off at the end of the night to name a champion. The CFP Tag Team Titles will be contested for by three teams that are all newly formed here in CFP. Who will prove themselves as the most adept up start team and grab the first reign as champions. And finally, the CFP Ontario Title will be the stepping stone for many to greatness. This title will be fought for by four competitors from around the world. And of course, there will be much more as well kick off the beginning of CFP. Race To The Championship Round 1 Match Zeus Maximillion vs. Steve Flash Zeus Maximillion and Steve Flash are both well known names here in Canada, and are known for putting on classic matches. Steve Flash has tasted the top before in Rapid Pro Wrestling but that was a long time ago. Meanwhile, Zeus Maximillion hasn’t reached the top, all though many have predicted that one day he will. Is it time for one last reign on top for Steve Flash, or will the deserving Zeus get his opportunity? Race To The Championship Round 1 Match Omar Brown vs. Stevie Grayson NOTBPW’s Omar Brown tries to get his first accolade as he goes against former TCW Cruiserweight Champion, Stevie Grayson. Omar Brown is known for throwing bigger opponents around the ring with ease, so should have no problem throwing Stevie around if he can catch him. However Stevie Grayson perhaps has more big match experience, and will be looking to prove that he wasn’t just the partner to Troy Tornado and Wolf Hawkins. Four Way CPF Ontario Title Match SUKI vs. Rudy Velasquez vs. Mario Heroic vs. Trent Shaftner Japanese, American and Canadian’s are all present in this match, as four hungry competitors fight to be the first CPF Ontario Champion. Only Mario Heroic is a past champion, only losing his Campeon de Menor title in August last year. The rest will be looking to push their career forward by grabbing the second title in CPF. Three Way CPF World Tag Team Title Match Sicker Than You’re Average vs. No Hype Necessary vs. HONOR Sicker Than You’re Average or STYA (Sayeed Ali & Shane Winters), No Hype Necessary (Frankie Perez & William Hayes) and HONOR (The Great Hisato & Yoshii Shiomi) are all new tag teams to wrestling, and have all been given the opportunity to go from unknowns as a unite, to World Champions. All will be desperate to get their tag teams off to a great start, but only one will. Also on the card: Singles Match RHINO Umaga vs. Adam Matravers Singles Match Fumihiro Ota vs. Marco Flores Prediction Key: Zeus Maximillion vs. Steve Flash Omar Brown vs. Stevie Grayson SUKI vs. Rudy Velasquez vs. Mario Heroic vs. Trent Shaftner Sicker Than You’re Average vs. No Hype Necessary vs. HONOR RHINO Umaga vs. Adam Matravers Fumihiro Ota vs. Marco Flores

Well, it took me some time to find someone in the 1975 data set that might start a promotion, and was young back in 1975. I know Zarnold Quigmann isn't exactly a big name in the cornellverse, but it did say his father funded his wrestling training and travel through his car business. So I went with that company doing well and Quigmann wanting to get back into wrestling and having the funds to do so.

4C Presents…..X Factor Attendance: 300 Rating: D- Jacob Jett vs. Sayeed Ali was the last match before the main event, where Joey Poison would defend his 4C Championship against the Wizard of Ottawa. However, that match, and all the matches before it would pail in comparison to the contest that these two put on. The two went all out, Sayeed Ali was his brutal self, knocking Jacob Jett senseless at times with his punches and forearms, where as Jacob Jett showed why he is often dubbed “Amazing”. There was no build up to this match to speak off, but it soon became clear that Jacob Jett, for some reason, was more determined than usual, and eventually managed to pick up the victory over Sayeed Ali, despite having been hit with the G.B.H. Driver before he managed to hit the Jett Take Off for the win. Rating: D Jacob Jett was exhausted as he pulled himself up by the ropes and then leant between them, demanding a microphone. The crowd could hear him exhaling heavily as he leant now on the top rope and looked out at the 300 attendance. “This, is what CFP have to offer. Well, as a loyal 4C wrestler………….I say CFP can bring it. We are the alternative in wrestling. We are the trend setters, and we aren’t corrupted by fame hungry families. And punks like Sayeed Ali, they’ll soon realize that CFP is a waste of time, started up by a retired wrestler who never achieved anything. There’s room for one alternative to the DeColts and the Stones. And that my friends…………..is Canadian Charisma Championship Combat." Jacob then drops the microphone and heads to the back, leaving the defeated 4C and CFP Sayeed Ali recovering on the mat.

CANADIAN FIRE PRO PRESENTS
Before any of the action can kick off, or the announce team of Marv Earnest & Arson Wells can welcome us to the show; the ring is surrounded by lots of wrestlers. From Dos Phoenix to Zeus Maximillion. And standing in the middle of the ring was the man who’s money started this all, Zarnold Quigmann. “Ladies and Gentleman, welcome to CANADIAN FIRE PRO WRESTLING!” A small decent pop followed the introduction, as Zarnold Quigmann let the more excited portion of fans have their moment. “You know, I could go on about this being the start of a new era, how we are going to change the face of wrestling and the rest. You know the thing that most new owners will say. And, with the quality of wrestlers we will be showcasing, I wouldn’t be lying. But we here, will let our actions speak louder than our words. We will let these wrestlers around the ring show you why you should be tuning in to Q-TV every Saturday, and why you should be getting tickets to our monthly shows. And tonight at Crowning Achievement, we will convince you. And there are four men that will be fighting for the CFP World Title, to be the epitome of what we stand for. So, if Steve Flash, Omar Brown, Stevie Grayson and the one and only Zeus Maximillion.” The four competitors step into the ring, Steve Flash first and getting a good ovation from the 1,000 in attendance. The Steve Flash chants raised a smile off Steve, and seemingly annoyed Zeus Maximillion. “These four men are my biggest signings, and tonight I have no doubt that they will put on matches that you will all remember. Ladies and gentleman, let me introduce you to the four competitors. The Master of the Anaconda Vice…….OMAR BROWN!” Omar Brown steps forward, a snarl just visible on his face due to the hood that is over his head. “Former TCW Cruiserweight Champion…………….STEVIE GRAYSON!” In major contrast to Omar Brown, Stevie Grayson dances forward, a big grin on his face as the crowd give him a decent ovation. “Former Rapid Pro Wrestling Champion…………………”THE REMARKABLE” STEVE FLASH!” And the roof went off the place, well as much as the roof can, when 1,000 people cheer. Steve Flash grinned slightly, soaking in the atmosphere before stepping back. “And last but not least……….The King of The Camel Clutch……………The Charismatic……………..multi talented…………….future world champion…………and my biggest signing……………….”THE BRONZED GOD” ZEUS MAXIMILLION!” After Zarnold Quigmann had made it clear that Zeus Maximillion was his best and brightest superstar, Zeus stepped forward to a chorus of boos, perhaps because of the owners clear favouritism. Zeus looked around the crowd in disgust and took the microphone, pushing his shades down slightly. “So, you people no longer respect greatness. Instead you would rather cheer old has beens that should have already retired. But why should I expect mere mortals to understand the greatness of a GOD! You are all ignorant, and you have two options. Either learn from my greatness or remain in you’re uneducated ways. Either way, tonight is my Crowning Achievement. Tonight, I will beat Steve Flash and then either of these other two chumps and be crowned CFP World Champion. That is why Zarnold Quigmann hired me. To be the representation for this promotion! And all of this is just two hours away!” The boos were getting louder and louder as Zeus continued, until Steve Flash stepped up and took the microphone from Zeus. “Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Zarnold say, we would let our actions speak louder than our words. So how about you put you’re money where you’re mouth is!” The two stepped up to each other as Zarnold called for a referee and the other two competitors and Zarnold cleared the ring as the roster headed to the back. RATINGS: C- for Quigmann’s introduction, D for Zeus Maximillion’s promo. vs. Steve Flash vs. Zeus Maximillion Race To The Championship The two started by circling each other, both looking for an opening, despite the heated confrontation just a few seconds ago. With the two being involved in the first match in CFP and the first Race To The Championship Match, both were keen to make sure no mistakes where made. However, a few slaps from Zeus to Steve Flash soon changed that, as Steve Flash got fired up. Zeus did all he could to fight back, but had to resort to a low blow out of sight of the referee. Zeus took control and unsuccessfully tried to put Steve Flash away. It looked like he might have the win when he locked in the Olympian Clutch after a succession of big moves and close pinfalls, but Steve Flash’s hunger was to great as he broke the hold by reaching the ropes. Zeus went for his Thunderbolt Sit Out Powerbomb, but Steve Flash reverses it into his Flash Bang and picked up the victory, much to the surprise of Zeus. WINNER: Steve Flash RATING: B- While the fans are getting over the great first match up, the standard videotron to the side of the entrance lit up to show No Hype Necessary warming up backstage. William Hayes had on some boxing guards as Frankie Perez was hitting them with an assortment of kicks and punches, and might I add he was doing them with lightning speed and accuracy. RATING: D Zeus Maximillion is up next and is shown walking backstage, obviously upset about his loss at the hands of Steve Flash, as he curses to himself as he walks down the cheap halls of Twin Elm Park. He generally scares staff out of his way until he comes across Stevie Grayson, leant up against a wall, with a pair of earphones coming up from his I-Pod. Stevie, in a land of his own, nodded his head back and forth, as he sung along to the song. “THE CHAMP IS HERE!..................THE CHAMP IS HERE!” Zeus stopped and looked at Stevie Grayson. “You think that’s funny?” Stevie looked up and shook his head, taking out his earphones. “Sorry, what was that?” “You think you’re funny do you?” “Well, I reckon I have my moments. Why?” “You know I just lost out there and you wait till I cross you to sing that?” Stevie shrugged his shoulders as if he had no idea to what was going on. “Look man, the song came up on my I-Pod just now, I’ve got a member of staff coming to get me when my match is up. So I had no idea you lost, but hey…………better luck next time.” “Next time, there shouldn’t need to be a next time." “Man, just chill. You’re taking this all too seriously.” “I’ll show you too seriously.” Zeus went to strike Stevie, but Stevie ducked and moved out the way, causing Zeus to hit the wall as Stevie made his escape. “No wonder you lost, you’re aim is whack!” RATING: D vs. RHINO Umaga vs. Adam Matravers Singles Match Adam Matravers was out first, stretching in the ring, before some daunting Samoan music came onto the speakers as out came RHINO Umaga, looking around the arena as he made his way down, speaking Samoan all the way down to the ring. He stepped into the ring and seemed ready to go straight for Adam but the referee stopped him. Checked the two over and then rang the bell and unleashed the beast. Rhino charged at Adam, but Adam was too quick at first. Adam used his pace, and composure to keep out of RHINO’s reach at first, hitting him with quick hit and run attacks. However he couldn’t run for too long as RHINO got him in his grasps and started to throw Adam around, before hitting a Running Body Smash which sent Adam to the corner. RHINO then went to the other corner and hit a viscous Corner Spear which apparently Marv Earnest says is called the RHINO Charge! The victory was pretty academic from that point. WINNER: RHINO Umaga RATING: D+ Despite picking up the pinfall, RHINO stays in the ring and stares down at Adam. The referee goes to check on Adam but it seems as if RHINO doesn’t realize the match is over. He picks up Adam and hits him with a bodyslam, before locking on the Samoan Crab. The ref is trying to stop RHINO, but RHINO continues until a number of staff have to come out to pry RHINO off of Adam and take him to the back. RATING: F+ Whilst the staff helps Adam Matravers to the back, the cameras catch Jacob Jett sitting at ringside. Jacob Jett gives off a smug smirk and tips his cap at the camera, before pulling out his 4C T-Shirt. This gives Marv Earnest and Arson Wells the opportunity to talk about the developments at 4C’s X-Factor between Jacob Jett & Sayeed Ali. RATING: D+ vs. STEVIE GRAYSON vs. OMAR BROWN Race to the Championship Match Stevie Grayson came out on his own, but Omar Brown was accompanied by Alison Capone, gangsta hat and cigar as well. The match started evenly, but Stevie Grayson, thanks to his Cruiserweight Style, seemed to be a step quicker than Omar Brown, ducking and diving, and reversing Omar whenever Omar went for one of his trademark suplexes. This would be enough to enrage Omar Brown at the best of times, but it’s the style in which Stevie did all of this that seemed to annoy him even more. Stevie looked like he was having fun dancing circles around Omar Brown. And then Stevie slipped and Omar seemed to snap. If you ever want to see perfectly executed suplexes, then Omar is you’re man. And he got an array of close pinfalls, especially after a vicious looking Half Nelson Suplex that got the crowd holding their breath. The face comeback came, and Stevie Grayson hit both his Sleeper Hold Neckbreaker & his Twisting Neckbreaker but it came to no avail. Omar’s Neck Trauma Suplex seemed to put Stevie out, but Omar locked on the Anaconda Vice anyway. WINNER: Omar Brown RATING: C Now that the Main Event was finalized, Marv Earnest and Arson Wells hyped up the main event from their announcers table. RATING: E+ Backstage, the cameras are on Seduction, standing in front of the figures of Sayeed Ali, Shane Winters and Rudy Velasquez. “TCW & NOTBPW……………. Cat Jameson, Tana The Mighty, Gregg Boone, R.K. Hayes, Omar Brown. That’s it, that’s the number of outsiders that the two top promotions in North America have. A grand total of five people that aren’t American or Canadian in the two “best” promotions. And don’t talk to me about SWF. Sure, they have Samoans, African Americans and even Mario Heroic was in SWF awhile back. But we, as wrestlers, are held back by the system. Held back by the big promotions who want their good guys to be blue eyed and blonde haired! Their bad guys in skull masks or about 7 feet tall! And those who get to the top, are just there to fall. And we are about to change that. Wrestling is Racist……………………..but we are going to Blaze a new trail. We are going to change everything. And there is no stopping us, we will take what is rightfully ours. First, Rudy is coming for that Ontario Title. And then Sicker than you’re Average will take the tag team titles. The revolution has begun. And when you’re face with fear, you have two options. Fight or Flight! What’s it going to be?” Seduction smirks and walks off picture with the three guys behind her. RATING: D- vs.vs.vs. Mario Heroic vs. SUKI vs. Trent Shaftner vs. Rudy Velasquez CFP Ontario Title Match Rudy Velasquez had Seduction at ringside as the match began and the four looked from their corners. Seduction went over to Mario Heroic’s corner and tried to talk him into the cause, so that they could make sure that they as a “people” weren’t held down. The crowd got a laugh when Mario Heroic pointed out he was American. Rudy took exception and went straight for Mario Heroic as SUKI and Trent paired off. The match was fast paced and hectic from there, as it usually boiled down to two in the ring and two outside and then switching. The end came when Seduction tried to get involved and distracted the referee when Trent Shaftner was pinning Rudy Velazquez and SUKI and Mario Heroic were down outside of the ring after a plancha from Mario, but she jumped down when Rudy reversed so he was pinning Trent. Then the referee turned to count the pinfall only to have Trent Shaftner reverse the pinfall into his favour and win the CFP Ontario Title. WINNER: Trent Shaftner RATING: D+ The referee goes to ringside and picks up the CFP Ontario Title and brings it into the ring, handing it to the tired Trent Shaftner as he lifts it above his head as he was down on his knees. The crowd cheered as Rudy Velasquez fumed at ringside, and got even more agitated after Jacob Jett shrugged his shoulders when Rudy’s eyes fell on him. RATING: E+ Backstage, Zarnold Quigmann is walking through the halls, doing whatever an owner does at these shows, before he bumped into Zeus Maximillion. Zeus was livid about him deserving to be fighting for the title. “Zarnold, you know I should be in that main event. That’s why you hired me!” “You’re right, that is why I hired you, but you lost you’re match. And after I put you over too.” “Well, I want a title match at the next show. I am better than anyone here. I deserve to be the main event.” Zarnold shrugged his shoulders. “There’s nothing I can do. The contracts you all signed, give the loser of our main event a automatic rematch next month. My hands are tied.” “GREAT, Just GREAT!” Zeus Maximillion threw his hands up and stormed off as Zarnold shook his head. Fumihiro Ota plays up to his Ninja Gimmick in his moves, where as Marcos is a luchador. At first it was reversal after quick reversal before the fans clapped the two fighters. The first big move came when Marcos Flores manager to reverse a suplex attempt into a DDT. The two then started hitting big moves, looking to end this quickly, and many thought Marcos had it when he hit a Glittering Magician’s Knee. This was later followed by a Moonsault Press which also got a close count. But the tide would turn as Marcos missing his Flores Heaven Elbow Drop and was put away with the Ninja Strike. WINNER: Fumihiro Ota RATING: C+ After a few minutes to allow Arson Wells to go backstage, Arson Wells was standing there with Omar Brown with Alison Capone and Steve Flash. “Later on tonight, Omar Brown and Steve Flash will be going one on one for the Canadian Fire Pro World Title. You have both fought tonight and beaten either Zeus Maximillion or Stevie Grayson. What type of……………..” Alison Capone stopped Arson Wells right there and took the microphone. “Stop with the announcer spiel. This match doesn’t need any hyping. This is Omar Brown vs. Steve Flash for the CFP World Heavyweight Title. The former Rapid Pro Wrestling World Champion, against the future of Canadian Wrestling, Omar Brown. And the outcome is simple. Omar Brown is stronger, younger and more hungry than this veteran. Omar Brown is going to do for this company what Steve Flash did for Rapid Pro Wrestling, minus the allowing it to crash and burn bit.” Alison Capone laughed as Omar Brown let off as little emotion as possible. “Well, Steve………….do you have a reply to that?” “Stronger, younger and more hungry. Well maybe all of that is true. But I’m wiser and one of the toughest competitors in this business. And I have the experience of being on top. I’ve experienced the big matches and tonight I will show that to the world, here in Canadian Fire Pro.” This got the crowd solidly behind Steve Flash as he walked away. Alison Capone then beckoned Omar Brown away and left Arson Wells on his own. Sicker Than You’re Average came out with Seduction, who was clearly trying to play Hispanic herself as the match kicked off, with The Great Hisato, William Hayes and Shane Winters in the ring. The match was quick paced from the offset, with the Great Hisato starting off in control, as he used his fluid movements and years of working in the ring to his advantage. Others would all take their opportunities to be in control and near the end, all were hitting big moves. Sayeed Ali then hit Yoshii with his G.B.H Driver to eliminate them from the contest. However Frankie took the opportunity to take Sayeed Ali and lock him in the P-Clutch as William Hayes hits the Slick Trick on Shane Winters to pick up the victory. WINNER: No Hype Necessary RATING: D+ With No Hype Necessary walking away from the ring with their CFP World Tag Team Titles, STYA slide out and start to argue amongst themselves slightly, mainly because Seduction is asking what just happened. Once again, Jacob Jett gets noticed at ringside, and Sayeed Ali starts to mouth off at Jacob Jett who is behind the barricade taunting him. RATING: E+ vs. Omar Brown vs. Steve Flash Main Event CFP World Title Match And it was main event time. Steve Flash and Omar Brown with Alison Capone, came out and then were introduced by the ring announcer. And then anyone not necessary to the match left the ring, and the ring bell sounded. Omar Brown attacked from the outset, perhaps hoping that Steve Flash was a bit too old to be doing two matches in one night, and it took Steve Flash some time to get into his rhythm. Once he had, the majority of the match saw the momentum swinging either way. Steve Flash did his usual great work of making his opponent look great as he countered and helped Omar counter many of his holds, and the match flowed beautifully. The match even saw Zeus Maximillion interfere but Stevie Grayson ran him off. The end came when it looked like Omar Brown was locking in the Anaconda Vice, but Steve Flash managed to block it and locked in his Dream Hold, which won him the CFP World Title. WINNER: Steve Flash RATING: B- The crowd are going crazy as Steve Flash clearly look like his been through a war, as he slowly and unstably gets to his feet and gets given his CFP World Title. That is until Fumihiro Ota runs down to the ring and catches Steve Flash off guard with a Ninja Strike. And Omar Brown isn’t safe either as he gets a Ninja Strike too. The show ends with Fumihiro Ota holding up the CFP World Title, before leaving the two down and out in the ring. CANADIAN FIRE PRO NEWS Crowning Achievement has been booked and run, and we would like to congratulate Steve Flash on becoming CFP World Champion. Congratulations also go to Trent Shaftner and No Hype Necessary on their title victories. However, winning the titles is only half the battle, as now all four individuals will have to accept that the whole roster is gunning for them. The next CFP event is Act On Instincts and will be held in Quebec on the last Saturday of March. After Crowning Achievement, anything can happen as superstars clearly started feuds, vendetta’s and set themselves goals for their career in CFP. And Jacob Jett of 4C fame is apparently in attendance next month as he has already bought himself a ticket for Act On Instincts and will be at ringside again. Why he keeps turning up to shows is beyond us here at CFP, but perhaps we will find out more next month. CFP World Title Match Steve Flash © vs. Omar Brown At Crowning Achievement these guys left it all in the ring, and Steve Flash came out on top in the best match of the night, which equaled anything done by any company minus the big three. The Losing Finalist howver, automatically gets a rematch at Act On Instincts, so Omar Brown could cause Steve Flash’s reign to be very short and not very sweet. Will Steve Flash be the first champion and the first man to not be able to defend his title? Singles Match Zeus Maximillion vs. Stevie Grayson The two other competitors from the Race For The Championship go head to head, after a backstage incident involving the two. Neither could get to the title match, but both, especially Zeus Maximillion, feel they deserve to be in the main event. A win here will go a long way in find out who will be the next challenger for the CFP World Title. CFP Ontario Title Match Trent Shaftner © vs. The Great Hisato Trent Shaftner was one of the four men to go home with gold after Crowning Achievement. He beat three other men to win his title, but now he must defend it in a singles match against the legendary Great Hisato. Trent Shaftner certainly has his hands full with one of the greatest high flyers in the business. Singles Match Mario Heroic vs. Fumihiro Ota Fumihiro Ota was successful at Crowning Achievement and let the world know that he wanted the CFP World Title. Having not been selected for the Race for the Championship, word is that Fumihiro Ota feels that he is undeservingly being held back. Mario Heroic failed to become CFP Ontario Champion, but a win here will cement his name in Ontario Title fold or perhaps give him a push up the card towards the World Title. Whoever wins will have a lot of momentum going for them. Tag Team Match No Hype Necessary © vs. STYA No Hype Necessary came out of Crowning Achievement as Tag Team Champions, and STYA are not happy about it. So STYA challenged No Hype Necessary to a match to prove that they are the better tag team, but the titles will not be on the line if they do win. Also, with Jacob Jett now known to be in attendance, will Sayeed Ali be able to keep his focus on the match. Also on the card: Singles Match Marcos Flores vs. RHINO Umaga Singles Match Rudy Velasquez vs. Mainstream Hernandez
Prediction Key: Steve Flash vs. Omar Brown Zeus Maximillion vs. Stevie Grayson Trent Shaftner vs. The Great Hisato Mario Heroic vs. Fumihiro Ota No Hype Necessary vs. STYA Marcos Flores vs. RHINO Umaga Rudy Velasquez vs. Mainstream Hernandez
