WWF vs. WCW: The War Begins

Recommended Posts

It takes a lot to pull off one of these joint games. You need to have steady communication with your partner or the thing will fail. If you can find a person that you can communicate with on a daily basis then I would try it. This is the most enjoyable dynasty I have ever done.

He enters and quickly grabs the microphone and begins to address the crowd. Rick Rude So Flair, we are evened up at one a piece in our little feud. I came to North Carolina tonight ready to compete, but I was told that I don’t have a match tonight. I carry this Big Gold Belt with me, so I’ve got a little pull, and I’ve got us some time to put on a match. You’d be a fool to think that I’d step into the ring with you one-on-one again, so what I’ve decided is that we will each pick a partner, then have us an old fashioned tag match. I’ve already got my partner rearing to go, and let’s just say that you can’t get any crazier than him. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Road Warriors vs. Harlem Heat The Road Warriors are one of the most established teams in the history of wrestling, but this young tandem of brothers from Harlem looked to make their name tonight against the Road Warriors. Nobody sent the memo to Hawk and Animal though, because they ran right though these two young men without much of a fight. Kane and Kole would hit moves here and there, but for the most part the Warriors dominated. Animal took Kane out with a powerslam, then scooped Kole onto his shoulders, and Hawk flew off the top rope and nailed the Doomsday Device, giving the Road Warriors the big victory. Winners: The Road Warriors Match Time: 9:51 Match Rating: C+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ After the match Road Warrior Animal grabbed the microphone and began to speak. Road Warrior Animal Nasty Boys, Hollywood Blondes, you boys have two weeks to prepare for the beatings of your lives. Blondes, we are going to run through you like you aren’t even there. Nasty Boys, we are going to take you out like the trash that you really are. Then the WCW World Tag Team Titles will be ours, and the Road Warriors will be the top tag team in the world once again! Road Warrior Hawk What a Rush!!!!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The camera goes backstage where Tony Schiavone is standing by with the WCW Television Champion, Lord Steven Regal. Tony Schiavone Ladies and gentlemen, joining me at this time in welcoming Lord Steven Regal. Mr. Regal, tonight there will be the final Battle Bowl qualifying match. The winner of the Diamond Dallas Page vs. Davey Boy Smith match will face off with you for the right to take on Chris Benoit for the title later in the show. What are your thoughts on this? Lord Steven Regal I’ll be watching this match closely Tony, that’s no doubt. But it doesn’t concern me to who wins this match. I’ve beaten Davey Boy Smith before, and I could beat him again without breaking a sweat. Diamond Dallas Page may be good, but he’s raw, I’d make him submit in no time. So let me give this warning to both men, think twice about winning this match tonight, because the winner will get the privilege of being beaten by me at Battle Bowl. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The music of Ric Flair plays over the speakers, and the fans here in Flair Country go crazy as their man struts out to the ring in his signature robe. He walks by ringside and grabs the microphone, then heads in the ring to reveal who is partner is for this huge tag team match. Ric Flair WOOOO! It feels good to be back in North Carolina baby! You all picked the right night to come and see some World Championship Wrestling, because the Nature Boy and his partner are going to tear into that wannabe champion Rick Rude. And who is my partner you may ask? He’s another man that you fans from the greatest state in the world know quite well…..Terry Funk! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ric Flair and Terry Funk vs. Rick Rude and Cactus Jack Rick Rude revealed his partner to be Cactus Jack, and once Funk caught sight of him he charged down the aisle and Funk and Jack picked back up where they left of the night before. They brawled through the arena as Ric Flair and Rick Rude were left in the middle of the ring. They went after one another, and it didn’t take long at all for Flair to take Rude out with a chop block. This sent Rude out of the ring, and he started hobbling towards the back. This sent Flair in pursuit, and after the ring was empty for a few moments Cactus Jack and Terry Funk brawled back into the ring. Jack went for a big clothesline, but he missed, and Funk kicked Jack in the stomach, then delivered the Texas Piledriver to give his team the victory. Winners: Terry Funk and Ric Flair Match Time: 10:44 Match Rating: B- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The camera goes backstage where Jesse Ventura is standing by with the man who will fight for a spot in Battle Bowl, Diamond Dallas Page. Jesse Ventura DDP, you had a spot in Battle Bowl wrapped up, but after you defeated Chris Benoit for the second time you brutally attacked him from behind. This caused the Championship Committee to strip you of your spot, and now you have to fight to regain it tonight. Your thoughts? Diamond Dallas Page I beat Chris Benoit again, and he had that beating coming to him. It’s not my fault that the Championship Committee is a bunch of spineless bums. It’s not fair, but I guess I’ll have to go out there and win my spot back, then when Battle Bowl rolls around I beat Steven Regal on my way to facing Chris Benoit, and I will beat him for the third straight time, and I’ll be your new United States Champion. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ A video plays of the happenings at the end of last night’s WCW Saturday Night. It shows Davey Boy Smith being jumped by Sid Vicious and Big Van Vader, and then it shows Smith’s friend Sting running out to his aide. The graphic then changes and says that next Saturday Night’s main event will be the Masters of the Powerbomb taking on the Allied Powers. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Battle Bowl Qualifying Match (United States Championship) Davey Boy Smith vs. Diamond Dallas Page Smith had the strength advantage in this match, and it showed as he threw Page around the ring for the first several minutes, and Page had the look of a deer in the headlights. Page didn’t know what to do to respond to the unique style of Smith, but he finally figured it out and nailed Smith with a low blow behind the referee’s back. He locked in some holds on the huge arms and legs of Smith, and the tide had turn decisively in the favor of Diamond Dallas Page. He controlled the action for several more minutes, then decided it was over and he signaled for the Diamond Cutter. He went for Smith’s head, but Davey Boy didn’t budge, and he scooped Page up onto his shoulder and drilled the running Powerslam and got the victory, sending him to Battle Bowl and shutting DDP out of the pay-per-view. This a great match to start off the show with all around wrestler, Lex Luger and Martel, a gifted technical performer, clicking on all cylinders. The crowd got behind Lex Luger and it helped him march to a dominating performance against the newest member of Team DiBiase. This might be a sign to come for WWF Survivor Series and how the Survivor Series match may pan out. Luger dominated a lot of the match and the match was ended with Luger hitting "The Model" with a Running Forearm. Maybe Lex will shed some light on who his next team member will be. Lex Luger Ted DiBiase, I know you are in the back watching so I'll tell you something. Tonight in this very ring, you will be in action. You will be facing my last choice for my team for the Survivor Series match next Sunday at WWF Survivor Series. I am going to warn you right now, this match isn't going to be any walk in the park, that is for sure. This guy is one of the hardest wrestlers to handle in the World Wrestling Federation. If you thought the rest of my team was strong, wait until you see my next choice. You better hope you bring your "A" game tonight or you will be feeling some harsh side-effects, DiBiase! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Macho Man" Randy Savage is standing backstage and he looks quite heated. He is probably still a little distraught over the two loses he has had over the past couple weeks in the series he is participating in against "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. "Macho Man" Randy Savage You are starting to get on my last nerve, y' little punk! You think I should hang up the boots, you think I should retire? That is madness, little boy! As long as people like you are running their trap, I'm still going to be here trying to knock you down a peg or two. You are all talk, Michaels, and tonight I'm going to put that to rest. You got a two match lead over me, but that is about to change. They call you "The Heartbreak Kid" and tonight I'm going to prove why. Tonight I'm going to go to that top-rope and fly off dropping my elbow right on your chest, stopping your heart. Oh yeah, if you can feel it! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Steiner Brothers vs. Diesel and Irwin R. Schyster A huge match for both sides of this contest. For The Steiner Brothers, this meant for some real competition leading into WWF Survivor Series, which is only a week away. For Diesel and Schyster, two members of Team DiBiase, this was a chance to get some team chemistry down before they face Team Luger next Sunday. Diesel looked really impressive controlling the match with his power and pulling the weight for his partner. The Steiner Brothers worked great as a team like brothers should do. They know each other so well and it paid off for them. The experience of a team that has known each other their whole life really decided this one. The Steiner Brothers won with a killer Top-Rope Bulldog from Rick Steiner on Irwin R. Schyster. They sa it as an opportunity to help out the good guys and maybe get a few shots in on the competition, Diesel and Schyster. The eight men brawled in the middle of the ring until the team of good guys cleaned house. The four guys pointed at their respected counterparts in a way to intimidate them. The guys on the outside seemed furious at the exchange that just happened so they just went to the back with their heads down and their tails between their legs. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Razor Ramon is backstage with an arrogant smirk on his face. You think you got the advantage over me, chico? You think you are gaining momentum, Mr. Perfect? You aren't doing anything but making me more angry. You are making me want to put you away once and for all. You aren't anything, Mr. Perfect, all you are is the guy I'm going to beat at WWF Survivor Series. You claim to be perfect, but their is one blemish you aren't going to be able to take away. That is going to be the blemish of a slash in the loss column, man. You wouldn't be so perfect anymore, would you? I have what you want and what you can't get. I am what you want to be! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3rd Match of the Best of Seven Series to Become the #1 Contender for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship Shawn Michaels Leads (2-0) "Macho Man" Randy Savage vs. "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels A fantastic match that is more on the level of the first two matches these guys had in their feud. It was full of the things that these guys bring to the table. With two guys like this in a match, you know that the match will have big spots and a lot of action. They didn't disappoint the crowd and the crowd, in return, showed their appreciation by getting behind whichever wrestler they preferred. The match was back and forth for a while and it really made for a good atmosphere. Michaels looked like he was going to take another one when he almost planted a Sweet Chin Music out of nowhere but "Macho Man" snuffed it out. Randy Savage would then take control and show that he shouldn't be hanging up the boots anytime lately. He made Michaels look silly and inexperienced. Savage would put the match on the line with his risky finisher, but that was a risk he had to take. "Macho Man" Randy Savage leaped off and planted a Flying Elbow Drop to "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels' sternum. Savage got the pinfall and his first victory in the best of seven series. Winner: "Macho Man" Randy Savage Time: 14:38 Match Rating: A+ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shawn Michaels gets up and he appears to be angry as all get out. He bombards "Macho Man" from the back, laying him out on the canvas. Michaels would continue to beat down Savage for a while. "The Heartbreak Kid" then goes to the outside and grabs a steel chair. He then gets back in and props Savage in the corner and makes him hold the chair in his face. Michaels then takes a couple steps back and then leads a shuffle in. Michaels delivers a devastating Sweet Chin Music to the chair, forcing it into Savage's face. Savage falls to ground, battered and bloody and Micheals walks away with a determined look on his face. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lex Luger comes to the ring just before the start of the main event that is featuring "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase facing Luger's last choice for his Survivor Series team. Luger seems to be very confident in his choice and he shows it with a big grin. Lex Luger Ladies and gentleman, tonight Ted DiBiase goes one-on-one with a monster, a man that is unstoppable, a man that is unbeatable. He has been able to defeat nearly everyone in his path and their is nothing anyone can do about it. This is one of the most dominating forces in professional wrestling and I am proud to name him the last member of Team Luger that will be going against "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase's team at WWF Survivor Series next Sunday on Pay-Per-View. Here is the last member of Team Luger... Ted DiBiase comes out and ruins the moment. DiBiase seems like he doesn't have a care in the world of who it is. He is so caught in himself that he doesn't realize that he may be walking into a big mistake. Luger seems like he doesn't mind that "The Million Dollar Man" is coming out to say a few things. "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase Whoa, hold on a minute, Luger! The most dominating man in professional wrestling? That is impossible since I already have that in Diesel. There is no one that you could have got that would match up to a guy like Diesel. The man is the most powerful wrestler in this business, no doubt. If there was anyone better I would have just bought them since everyone has a price. I think you are just building it up to intimidate me so lets just get this match over with and mark another win up for "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase! Ha ha ha! Lex Luger Oh there is one more person in the World Wrestling Federation that could beat your whole team maybe by himself. This man is an amazing athlete and he may be kind of menacing to some. That menace being because he isn't exactly alive. You see my next selection to Team Luger is a man that is feared by everyone, even the biggest and strongest. He is the most intimidating wrestler to ever step inside a ring. This man is The Undertaker! The Undertaker starts to come down to the ring to a big ovation from the crowd in Storrs, Connecticut. Ted DiBiase looks shocked and is in total disbelief. He must have thought that Luger wouldn't be able to close a deal with Paul Bearer to be able to get The Undertaker to wrestle in the Survivor Series match. Well now "The Million Dollar Man" has to take on the biggest threat in the World Wrestling Federation, The Undertaker. "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase vs. The Undertaker Ted DiBiase was able to put away his shocked emotion and was able to compete as well as ever. DiBiase was able to do some damage to The Undertaker, but The Undertaker wasn't having much of it. The Undertaker took advantage early, nailing some quick moves in on "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase. DiBiase started to cheat, which was his only hope at winning this match, but it didn't matter. The two took the match to the outside, which showcased DiBiase being thrown into the steel steps. The Undertaker took the match back inside the ring. Even a deadman knows that the match couldn't be ended on the outside. DiBiase tried to muster up another flurry of offense but it was happening. The Undertaker just took control from their and there was no stopping him. The big guy started to throw out his arsenal and it took its tole on "The Million Dollar Man". The Undertaker would then finally end the match after that punishment. The Undertaker took DiBiae up and crashed him down head-first with a Tombstone Piledriver. This win is a big indicator of what could happen next Sunday at WWF Survivor Series. Superstars wasn't much of a sister show then since Raw had only been around for about half a year. I still see that one of the shows should be getting a much higher rating than the others and it should be Raw. I showcase my main feud on Raw and that means it should be the main show.

Tunney usually doesn't come to the ring unless their is some important news that he has to announce. Last time he came to the ring was to announce the current best of seven series between Shawn Michaels and Randy Savage. Jack Tunney Last night on WWF Superstars, "Macho Man" Randy Savage defeated "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels to get his first victory in the best of seven series. Tonight, there will be a match between those same men. This match isn't going to be a normal match. This match is going to be a two falls match, each fall counting as a victory in the name of whoever gets that fall. That means if Shawn Michaels were to get both victories then he would be declared the #1 contender for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. Randy Savage walks down to the ring looking his best. He has his best cowboy hat and his freshes pair of sunglasses. This news could be seen as either good or bad news for Savage. This could make or break his chances at beating "The Heartbreak Kid" in the series. "Macho Man" Randy Savage Hold up a second there, Mr. Tunney! You are saying that this next match will be counted as two matches in the series? Well that sounds fantastic to me! I could take the lead over that little punk and have the advantage for the rest of the series. "The Heartbreak Kid" isn't going to be able to run his mouth around my house anymore! That kid needs to be put in his place, and that surely isn't in my ring. I love how you think, Mr. Tunney, and I am going to shut that punk up once and for all tonight. Oh yeah! "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels walks out and he seems like he wants to get in on the action. This match could mean the end of the series if Michaels is able to score both falls over "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Michaels should be all for this match since the reward is so high. "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels Now both of you hold your horses! The prodigy is in the building and you guys aren't thinking clearly from all the ladies chanting my name. You can't just come out here and make decisions like that, Tunney. With that being said, I'll surely win both falls of the match and put this old hack back where he came from. You say I don't belong in this ring, but it seems to me that I have got the best of you in the past weeks. You may have won last week, but what happened? I popped you in the mouth with a Sweet Chin Music. Savage, go pack your bags because this is going to send you into retirement. Jack Tunney Both of you need to settle down, because there is no need to get angry over something that could propel both your careers. You need to show some patience if you guys want to get back to the top. Now with patience in mind, I don't have much patience with the action that should be in this ring so that match you guys are suppose to be having tonight is going to happen...now! 2-Fall Decision Match 4th Match of the Best of Seven Series to Become the #1 Contender for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship Shawn Michaels Lead (2-1) "Macho Man" Randy Savage vs. "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels The match gets under way with both of the contestants not prepared. Someone like Shawn Michaels, in great physical condition, doesn't need much to get started. That fact gave Michaels the early advantage, but Savage would then go on an unstoppable roll. Savage was living up to the name of "Macho Man", showing shades of his past self. Savage hit bodyslams, dropkicks, and other great moves on "The Heartbreak Kid". Michaels didn't know what was going on and he seemed lost the whole entire first fall match. Savage then tried to cement the victory of the first fall when he went up top after hitting Michaels with a devastating backdrop suplex. Savage came down with a thundering Flying Elbow Drop and got the three count. Winner: "Macho Man" Randy Savage 5th Match of the Best of Seven Series to Become the #1 Contender for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship Series Tied (2-2) The second fall part of the match came with a restarted set between the two men. Michaels seemed to be in a bad condition after getting an elbow dropped on his chest. Savage came out firing again and it seemed like he was going to go on another great roll. Michaels would then use dirty tactics to gain control over Savage and it worked. Michaels then took control and started to get all his strength back. With all the girls shouting for him in the crowd...Michaels was able to get back to what we are expected to see out of him. Michaels would put Savage to the limit and "Macho Man" couldn't take it. Savage couldn't hang with "The Heartbreak Kid" after his comeback. Michaels would end the match with a roll-up that came after Savage wasn't able to knock down a suplex he tried to hit Michaels with. This gives Michaels the lead back in the series by the score of three-to-two. You are like those alligators who only have one more bite in them, but you better ask Skinner about something like that. Just when I thought I was going to take you out, you snap back. Well you can kiss anymore dreams you have at becoming the WWF World Heavyweight Champion goodbye. Next match we have I'm going to end this thing and you can move down to Florida and stay in a gated community like all the rest of the retired old folks. Savage, your time is up and it is time for you to pass the torch. They take some time out of their busy schedule to hype an upcoming match with a big stipulation to it. Vince McMahon We all just witnessed another great match in the series that could decide the next #1 contender for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. That isn't the only action we are going to see tonight. We will see a main event that promises to be one of the best matches seen on WWF Monday Night Raw in quite some time. Mr. Jack Tunney just passed down word today that the #1 contender for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship, Bret "Hitman" Hart will be in action. The man he will be facing is Mr. Perfect, the #1 contender for the WWF Intercontinental Championship. There's a very important stipulation to this match isn't there, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan? Bobby "The Brain" Heenan That is right, McMahon! There is so much on the line in this match that you are guaranteed both this guys are going to put it on the line to win. The stipulation is that whoever wins the match gets to decide a stipulation for their respective title match. That means say Hart wins, then he has a decision to add a stipulation to his match. It could be a cage match, a submission match, or something we have never seen before. I'm excited so lets get this show underway! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jim Ross is standing backstage with "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase. "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase What is my reaction...my reaction?! What do you think my reaction is, Jim Ross? It couldn't have went better if I would have planned it myself. Yeah I know what you're thinking, what is this guy talking about? You see guys like The Undertaker don't work well with teams. You put a guy that is like that with three other men and it means disaster. Sure the guy may be the most dominating force in the business, but not if he can't get along with his partners. This is a good tuneup match leading into WWF Survivor Series for the big man. The thought that Hart may be able to choose what match the title match will be may be haunting Yokozuna, but it didn't stop him from tearing the head off of his opponent. Neidhart may be a formidable opponent to others, but for Yokozuna, he is nothing. He tossed Neidhart around like he was nothing. Yokozuna made quick work and finished it off with a Banzai Drop. You took care of an old friend of mine in "The Anvil", which isn't an easy task. If you think a win is going to come that easy with me then you are dead wrong. You will be lucky to even be able to make me work up a sweat come Sunday at WWF Survivor Series. Yokozuna, I promise you that all that pain you caused me is going to come back to haunt you and it isn't going to be pretty. WWF Survivor Series is going to be my playground, Yokozuna, and I'm going to have fun. Fun with the WWF World Heavyweight Champion. The only way I can do that is because I'm the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Winner Picks Stipulation for Their Title Match at WWF Survivor Series Bret "Hitman" Hart vs. Mr. Perfect The match started out with a bang as the two exchanged suplexs and arm drags. Mr. Perfect showed that he can stay with one of the top dogs of the World Wrestling Federation. Actually, Mr. Perfect got the first real advantage of the match. Mr. Perfect, being seen as the underdog, didn't really fit that mold very well. Mr. Perfect started to spread the ring out and use his surrounding to his advantage. Mr. Perfect made a false move and Hart took advantage. Hart started to nail move after move on Mr. Perfect. Hart accidentally made the referee and Mr. Perfect bump heads, knocking the referee out... Yokozuna comes to the ring because he doesn't want Bret Hart to win and get to pick a stipulation at WWF Survivor Series. Yokozuna comes into the ring and runs Bret Hart into the corner. Yokozuna then runs full-blast and smashes Hart into the turnbuckle. When Mr. Perfect comes to, he throws Yokozuna out of the ring much to the satisfaction of the crowd. Mr. Perfect, seeing a lifeless Bret Hart, has a tough decision to make. Mr. Perfect, knowing the implications to the match, covers Bret "Hitman" Hart and gets the victory. Mr. Perfect now has the choice of a stipulation for his WWF Intercontinental Championship match at WWF Survivor Series against Razor Ramon. Ryzing wasn’t just going to sit back and take a beating though. He used his technique that he learned in France to counter the high energy offense of Sting, and he had Sting struggling for several minutes though. Sting showed why he has been World Champion though and he quickly fought back, and after a series of Stinger Splashes he was able to lock in the Scorpion Deathlock and Ryzing was quickly tapping. Winner: Sting Match Time: 7:44 Match Rating: B+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ After the match Sting requested a microphone from ringside, and he began addressing the crowd in the arena, as well as the nationwide crowd on TBS. Sting Man that felt good. Another match, another victory for the Stinger! I’d say I’m on a little bit of a roll heading into Battle Bowl. But tonight my opponent in the preliminary match to see who faces Vader, Sid Vicious has to be in the main event. And who does he face? None other than the Nature Boy Ric Flair. Me and Ric have been around the block a couple of times, and Sid, let me tell you, you are not going to be coming out of that match the same that you went it. Advantage Stinger! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The cameras goes backstage where Davey Boy Smith is standing by before his rematch with Diamond Dallas Page, and he has something to say. Davey Boy Smith Last week things weren’t looking up for me. I didn’t have a spot in Battle Bowl, I was in a bit of a rut to be frank. But then Diamond Dallas Page went and lost his temper, and then I took his spot for Battle Bowl right out from under his nose. Now I get to face Lord Steven Regal once again at Battle Bowl, with the winner facing Chris Benoit for the United States Championship. But first tonight I get to wrestle Diamond Dallas Page for the second straight show. Page, expect this match to be much like the last one, Davey Boy Smith will be walking out on top, mark my words. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Davey Boy Smith vs. Diamond Dallas Page These two faced off in a heated battle last week, and this week Page came into the match angry. He was booted from the next pay-per-view by Smith, and he wanted to make sure that Smith did not win any matches from his spot. He went to work on the leg of Smith, locking in several holds on it, and Smith was noticeably limping on it after several minutes. Davey Boy eventually fought back and evened it up, but then Lord Steven Regal slowly made his way to the ring. Smith tried to fight but his attention was drawn towards Regal. He scooped Page up for the running powerslam, but his attention wasn’t fully into it, and Page slipped behind him and drilled the Diamond Cutter to gain a small slice of revenge. Winner: Diamond Dallas Page Match Time: 11:41 Match Rating: A ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ After the match DDP stood over the man he just defeated, and Steven Regal wasted no time rushing into the ring. He immediately started laying the boots to Smith, trying to get an upper hand for their match at Battle Bowl. He got him up, then told Page to hit him with another Diamond Cutter. Just then Chris Benoit came exploding into the screen, and he slid into the ring and gave Regal a huge German Suplex. He then stared down Page and ran him out of the ring, then helped Davey Boy up to his feet even though they may have to face off for Benoit’s title at Battle Bowl. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The camera goes backstage, and Ric Flair has something to say before he faces off with Sid Vicious in the main event of the evening. Ric Flair Tonight I have to face off with big bad Sid Vicious. I’m shaking in my boots! Sid! I’ll be honest, there aren’t many men bigger and nastier than you. But you aren’t anything that the Nature Boy can’t handle. I’ll chop you down to size, then my road to Battle Bowl will be paved. I’ll beat that hoodlum Cactus Jack early in the night, then by the end of the main event I’ll have already beaten Rick Rude for the International Championship, and the Big Gold Belt will be back home baby! WOOO! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ron Simmons vs. Big Van Vader Big Van Vader was also looking to pick up momentum for his title defense at Battle Bowl against either Sting or Sid Vicious. He would have to face off with former World Champion Ron Simmons though. Simmons tried tackling Vader numerous times, but he could only stagger the big man, he never did take him all the way off of his feet. Simmons did drop some deadly right hands though, and Vader was wavering, that is until he leveled Simmons with a clothesline. Vader then slugged him around the ring for a little while, then nailed a Powerbomb on Simmons. Instead of pinning him he dragged him into the corner and then nailed the Vader Bomb to get the three count. Winner: Big Van Vader Match Time: 11:26 Match Rating: B+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Harley Race enters the ring with a microphone, and he stands next to his client, the WCW World Heavyweight Champion, Big Van Vader. Harley Race What you all just saw was an exercise in dominance. Big Van Vader just steamrolled a former World Champion, just like he’ll steamroll whoever gets in his way at Battle Bowl. Sid Vicious, I know that you know the strength of Vader first hand, so I trust that you’ll do the right thing and lay down. Sting, Vader has dominated you before, he can do it again. So when Battle Bowl comes in a little more than a week, it doesn’t matter who you all see Vader facing, it’s going to be a squash! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Terry Funk vs. Fit Finlay Terry Funk has been in battles with Cactus Jack since debuting in WCW, but Jack is nowhere to be found tonight, so Funk faced off with the almost equally as tough Fit Finlay. These two men traded stiff left and right hands, and this didn’t resemble a wrestling match at all, it looked more like a bar fight. They accomplished the goal of not featuring one wrestling hold for the vast majority of the match, and the first wrestling move was also the last. Funk was able to nail Finlay with his Texas Piledriver and the referee counted to three. Winner: Terry Funk Match Time: 9:17 Match Rating: C ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The camera goes back to the parking garage of the building, and a long black limousine is shown pulling into the building. Then out steps the International Heavyweight Champion Rick Rude, just in time to witness the match between Sid Vicious and his bitter rival, Ric Flair. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ric Flair vs. Sid Vicious There was a pre-match staredown in this huge match, and the size advantage of Sid Vicious became very apparent. Both men were fighting to build up steam to their matches at Battle Bowl, Flair to try to get an International Title shot, Vicious trying to get a World Title shot. Flair went to take down Sid early, but Vicious wasn’t budging, and he took Flair down with a clubbing blow to the back. He threw Natch around the ring, laughing manically the whole time. He seemed to be toying with Flair, then Flair came out of nowhere with a chop block. He then chopped Sid around the ring, dropped him with an inverted atomic drop, and even took him over with some suplexes. He somehow got him up and hit a kneebreaker, then locked in the Figure Four Leglock, and Sid decided to live to fight another day and gave up. Winner: Ric Flair Match Time: 10:45 Match Rating: A ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ After the match Rick Rude made his way to the ring slowly in his Armani suit. He was holding the Big Gold Belt over his shoulder, and he was walking very slowly towards Flair. Flair had 100% of his attention towards Rude, then Cactus Jack jumped out of the crowd and attacked Flair brutally from behind. He slugged him around the ring, then Rude threw him a chair, and Jack busted Flair wide open with it. He then threw the chair on the ground and nailed Double Arm DDT right onto it, giving him a huge advantage going into their preliminary match for the International Title shot at Battle Bowl, and the whole time Rick Rude watched on with a huge smile on his face. Austin started the match in control by using underhanded tactics, and he used some technical holds to wear down the big brawler. This didn’t last long though as Hawk began to fight back, and he almost took Austin’s head off with a big clothesline. He was rolling, and was about to Powerslam Austin when Brian Pillman made his way to the ring. This caught Hawk and the referee’s attention, allowing Austin to nail a low blow, then roll up Hawk and get the shocking victory. Just before they struck Road Warrior Animal sprinted towards the ring. This caused the Blondes to split and they headed out of the ring as the Road Warriors shouted warnings at the Hollywood Blondes. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ When Main Event came back from a commercial a very angry Ric Flair was standing in the middle of the ring with a huge bandage on his head. He was very redfaced and he was in wrestling gear, apparently ready to go. Ric Flair Cactus Jack! You made the biggest mistake in history when you busted me open last night. Flair tackled Jack and threw punches at him like crazy, something very few people have seen Ric Flair do. He threw out his usually technical based style out the window and he fought straight up with Cactus Jack. This is a problem though because Cactus Jack is one of the best strikers in WCW, and he knocked Flair on his butt a couple of times. Ric kept on fighting though, and he decided he was going to be getting some payback. He went out and got a chair and threw it back in the ring. Cactus Jack picked up the chair before Flair could grab it though and he smashed it into the skull of Flair, earning him a disqualification, but he busted Ric Flair’s head wound back open. Winner: Ric Flair Match Time: 9:48 Match Rating: B+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Rick Rude then appears on the screen as Ric Flair is helped up to his feet and he sees Rude on the video screen. Rick Rude Ric, that looked like it hurt. What kind of idiot are you? You challenge Cactus Jack to a match the night after he busted you open. Look what it got you Ric, busted open once again. But it gets better, in just seven days time you get to face Cactus Jack once again. This time you have to beat him if you want to face me for the International Heavyweight Championship, and I don’t like your chances right now. And if by some miracle you recover and get to face me in the main event, you can expect much of the same that took place at Halloween Havoc, I’ll be walking out still holding this big gold belt. We agreed that you can’t beat me, but you still keep me from doing what I want to do in the ring. Tonight you pay for it. You know you can’t beat me Benoit, that’s just a proven fact. He slammed Regal all around the ring, but they came to a stop when they met in the middle of the ring and smashed heads together. They both got the tags in, and Page and Benoit went back at it. Benoit was dominating Page, and he looked for his Dragon Suplex, but Page panicked and tagged Regal back in. These two mean are seasoned veterans who have been at the top of the ladder and have became legends in this business. Now I know what you two Canadians are wanting to know, who are these guys? Well later tonight on Pay-Per-View, we will reveal before our match who our partners are and then you can see for yourself how much trouble you guys are in! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tatanka vs. Bam Bam Bigelow A decent match between two beasts that are dominant forces. Tatanka, who is participating later in the night at WWF Survivor Series, was really on his game. He came out firing early with a load of clotheslines and other blows that knocked Bigelow off of his game. Luna Vachon, Bigelow's valet, really helped Bigelow get back into this one. Bigelow went on a tear, but it was ended with a flurry of offense from Tatanka. Tatanka would then show why he deserves to be part of Team Luger. Tatanka would end the match with an Indian Death Drop and cover up the downed Bam Bam Bigelow. Winner: Bam Bam Bigelow Time: 8:56 Match Rating: B- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- While Tatanka is recovering after a hard-fought victory, Diesel and Irwin R. Schyster run in and start to beat down on the weathered Tatanka. Tatanka tries to fight back, but he is no match for two guys. Schyster starts to break down Tatanka with a series of blows to the back. Diesel then picks him up by the hair and puts him between his legs, ready for a Jackknife Powerbomb, but... Bob Backlund comes into the ring firing with lefts and rights to Irwin R. Schyster's face. Backlund takes Schyster out of the ring with a clothesline. Diesel lets Tatanka go and then slides out of the ring. Diesel didn't want any troubles since he wants to stay healthy for later tonight. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Razor Ramon is sitting backstage in the locker room. He is sitting and relaxing with a toothpick in his mouth. He throws the toothpick at the camera and begins to talk. Razor Ramon Your moment is finally here, Mr. Perfect. Tonight is the night that you get a shot at my WWF Intercontinental Championship. Earlier this week on WWF Monday Night Raw, you defeated Bret "Hitman" Hart to be able to choose a stipulation for our match at WWF Survivor Series. Tonight I demand an answer on what type of match it will be. I care so much, because I want to know which match I am going to be able to destroy you in. It doesn't really matter, chico, what match you pick. All that matters is that I'm going to make you wish you would never had challenged me in the first place. Tonight I feel no remorse and you, you feel regret! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fatal Four-Way Match Owen Hart vs. Jeff Jarrett vs. Doink the Clown vs. Marty Jannetty A nice specialty match that spiced things up for the live crowd. The four men really gelled together pretty well when it comes to chemistry. Owen Hart and Jeff Jarret stood out above the rest when it comes to excitement. Doink the Clown added some darkness to the match as he used some underhanded tactics to get an advantage over someone. Jeff Jarrett and Marty Jannetty battled for a while as Doink and Hart traded blows. Then the action would be reversed and that meant for a big change in the match. The match came together when Jannetty and Jarrett got taken out of the match when Jannetty took out Jarrett with a suicide dive to the outside. Hart took advantage of a non-focused Doink the Clown, and rolled him up for the three count. Winner: Owen Hart Time: 11:47 Match Rating: B- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The bad guys, consisting of Doink the Clown and Jeff Jarrett, thought they would get revenge on their opponents after the match so they waited for them to turn around and they tried to punch them. Both Owen Hart and Marty Jannetty ducked and they hit the attackers in the stomach with a kick. Then at the same time, they threw them both out of the ring and to the floor below. The bad guys acted like they were going to go back in, but they bailed and taunted Jannetty and Hart. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mr. Fuji is standing backstage next to his client, the WWF World Heavyweight Champion, Yokozuna. Mr. Fuji seems to be confident, maybe in Yokozuna's match later in the night at WWF Survivor Series against Bret "Hitman" Hart or at what Yokozuna did to Hart earlier this week. Mr. Fuji The advantage is back in our hands, Mr. Hart. You said that Yokozuna will not lay a hand on you until the match at WWF Survivor Series. I guess you were wrong, "Hitman", because earlier this week on WWF Monday Night Raw Yokozuna was able to cost you your match against Mr. Perfect. If you would have won, you would have been able to decide your own fate. Now your fate is in the hands off the man that has caused you grief ofter the last month or so. The man that is going to beat you at WWF Survivor Series. The man that is going to put you out of the business and into a wheelchair, Yokozuna! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan vs. Diesel A fine piece of whooping from the hands of Diesel. Diesel protected himself earlier in the night by not confronting Bob Backlund when Backlund saved his teammate, Tatanka. Diesel made quick work of "Hacksaw", who isn't the easiest of opponents to beat. Diesel was just too much to handle for someone who can't hang with the new guys. "Hacksaw" never really got things started against the big man. Diesel was able to put the match away with a powerful Jackknife Powerbomb that shook the ring. Winner: Diesel Time: 7:01 Match Rating: B+ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mr. Perfect is backstage with a big smirk on his face. I guess this is going to be his response to Razor Ramon's comments and demands that went on earlier in the night. Mr. Perfect Razor Ramon, you demand me to tell you the stipulation of our match later tonight on WWF Survivor Series. I will get to that in a moment, but there are some things I need to put out there. Ramon, you say you don't care, but you know you fear me. You know that you can't sleep at night because you are scared at the fact that after our match at WWF Survivor Series that you are going to be lacking something around your waist. Well you now have something else to fear. Ramon, you have to fear the unforgiving steel cage. Yes that's right, our match is going to be a steel cage match. The thought of your face bloodied from the cage keeps on going through my mind. Tonight, that thought becomes reality! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 6th Match of the Best of Seven Series to Become the #1 Contender for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship Shawn Michaels Leads (3-2) "Macho Man" Randy Savage vs. "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels It was make or break time for "Macho Man" Randy Savage and that made for a great match. Savage gave it his all, but that didn't stop Michaels from giving it his all. Savage tried to take advantage early, but Michaels stalled the match by going outside. Michaels played th game of cat and mouse for a while until Michaels decided to go on the offensive. Michaels started to make Savage look like what he says he looks like. Savage became battered by numerous onslaughts at the hands of "The Heartbreak Kid". Michaels started to taunt Savage, but that didn't work out well. Savage took it in himself to use some dirty tactics and low blow Michaels when the referee wasn't looking. Savage would then go up top and deliver the Flying Elbow Drop for the victory and to tie the series at three a piece and force a seventh match. Winner: "Macho Man" Randy Savage Time: 13:44 Match Rating: A+ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jack Tunney comes out to the ring with a microphone in his hand. Tunney has been showing his face a lot lately due to this series between "Macho Man" and "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. Jack Tunney Fantastic match to the both of you, but this now means that their is going to be a deciding match to see who becomes the #1 contender for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. That is why tonight at WWF Survivor Series on Pay-Per-View, there will be a resolution. The match that will decide everything, the seventh match, will be fought between you two. Whoever wins that match will get a shot at the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. This will prove once and for all who really deserves their place in the World Wrestling Federation! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Show Rating: B Television Rating: 33.79

Yokozuna (C) vs. Bret "Hitman" Hart Just hoping. Bret Hart is the obvious favorite of most people in the bout, but on top of that I feel your segments focusing on the Hitman have been stronger than Yoko. Plus I'm a Hitman fan! Lex Luger, Bob Backlund, Tatanka, and The Undertaker vs. Ted DiBiase, Iriwn R. Schyster, Diesel, and Rick Martel Hard for me to call because I like DiBiase and Diesel so much, but reality is that I see only Diesel as having much of a strong future on that team. I can't see you wasting Taker's return in a loss, plus Luger has main event potential still in him. Razor Ramon (C) vs. Mr. Perfect Can't have both titles changing hands can we? The Steiner Brothers & ??? vs. The Quebecers & ??? Steiners are simply the best "Macho Man" Randy Savage vs. "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels HBK is gold, and obviously the HBK v Hart feud is money if you put the strap on the Hitman, but I think you might hold off on that a little while longer and let Hart build his heat as a champion by feuding with the Macho Man. Owen Hart, Marty Jannetty, and "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan vs. Jeff Jarrett, Doink the Clown, and Bam Bam Bigelow Meh. Just judging based on number of potential talents on each team, I have team JJ at 2 vs 1 for team Owen. As a big Bam Bam fan, I hope he pulls this out and dominates into a big time feud.

Yokozuna (C) vs. Bret "Hitman" Hart It's the Hitman's time in my opinion, keeping the belt on Yoko would probably kill it since the next PPV worthy of a title change is Wrestlemania, as the Rumble is more about finding a challenger. Lex Luger, Bob Backlund, Tatanka, and The Undertaker vs. Ted DiBiase, Iriwn R. Schyster, Diesel, and Rick Martel I never bet against Taker Razor Ramon (C) vs. Mr. Perfect I also never bet against the stipulation chooser, and I've just got a feeling that Perfect is a safer bet, as we never know what Hall can do... The Steiner Brothers & ??? vs. The Quebecers & ??? Like justtxyank said, The Steiner Brothers are made of pure ownage "Macho Man" Randy Savage vs. "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels HBK is on fire, and he's got youth on his side. C'mon, who doesn't want to see Hart vs Michaels leading up to 'Mania, a lenghty feud such as that one would be pure gold. Yes, I'm a fan of lenghty feud, got a problem :D Owen Hart, Marty Jannetty, and "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan vs. Jeff Jarrett, Doink the Clown, and Bam Bam Bigelow Just a guess, As Hart is the more talented of them all, even though JJ and Bigelow are also very good

For the WWF World Heavyweight Championship Yokozuna (C) vs. Bret "Hitman" Hart I'm Canadian. That makes it criminal to cheer against Hart. Seriously! It's in the Constitution. Team Luger vs. Team DiBiase Survivor Series Match Lex Luger, Bob Backlund, Tatanka, and The Undertaker vs. Ted DiBiase, Iriwn R. Schyster, Diesel, and Rick Martel Two reasons: 1.) Dibiase is my favourite character of all time. 2.) I pick way too many Faces through the rest of the PPV. I actually chose everything else before this match, because it's really a toss-up in my books. For the WWF Intercontinental Championship in a Steel Cage Razor Ramon (C) vs. Mr. Perfect Perfect's got all the momentum right now. That leads most logically into a loss. Perfect's in a great position to be a major favourite in the Rumble. Do or Die Survivor Series Match The Steiner Brothers & ??? vs. The Quebecers & ??? It's not like you have any other teams that are going to challenge the Quebecers.... 7th Match in the Best of Seven Series to become the #1 contender for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship "Macho Man" Randy Savage vs. "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels Savage takes the fall at the Rumble, and Hart heads into WM as champion, facing Michaels, who will probably enter #1. Opening Survivor Series Match Owen Hart, Marty Jannetty, and "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan vs. Jeff Jarrett, Doink the Clown, and Bam Bam Bigelow It's the Hart thing again.
