[CENTER][SIZE="7"][B]The Dream Team Fight League[/B][/SIZE][/CENTER] [B][SIZE="6"]Setup: [/SIZE][/B] Team based combat. I am looking to have atleast six teams setup before we start the first season. If interest is more than that we can add more to the league, until we reach a max of 12 teams. [B][SIZE="6"]Weight Classes:[/SIZE][/B] Heavyweight: 265-206 Light Heavyweight: 205-186 Middleweight: 185-171 Welterweight: 170-156 Lightweight: 155-146 Featherweight: 145-130 [SIZE="6"][B]Draft:[/B][/SIZE] Once we get finished with signup, the draft order will be determined at random for each round. There will be 8 rounds in the draft. You will select one fighter from each weightclass in the draft. [B][SIZE="6"]Fight Schedule:[/SIZE][/B] Once we see how many teams we have a schedule will be determined. Each team will have 21 fights in a season. The schedule will have entire weight classes fighting on the same night. The amount of matches will be determined by the total number of teams we have signed up. [B][SIZE="6"]Trades and Free Agents:[/SIZE][/B] Once the league has been started teams can sign free agents and trade with other teams. Teams can also trade draft picks for the following seasons draft. The subsequent drafts will be two rounds. At the end of every season each team will lose 2 fighters. These fighters will be randomly picked using a number generating program and number roster. This will keep team leaders active and make for more exciting drafts. I sure some teams will lose minimal and some might lose there biggest stars, but thats what will make it that much more interesting for all. Trades can consist of 1 for 1, 2 for 1, draft pick for 1, doesnt matter the amount, But the roster limit must be observed at all times. So if you make a trade that puts you over the roster limit you will have to cut someone off your team. [B][SIZE="6"]Standings and Champions:[/SIZE][/B] Teams will be ranked based on there fighters win-loss records over the season. At the end of the year the team with the best overall record will be the champions. The individual champions will be determined at the first events for each weight class. The matchups will be randomly generated and the matchup with the lowest ranking avg will be for the title. So if the #1 ranked fighter is pitted against #6 and #2 is against #4, the 2 vs 4 matchup would be for the title. If there is a tie in ranking avg, the tie-breaker goes to the matchup with the best ranked fighter. [B][SIZE="6"]Draft Procedure:[/SIZE][/B] When we get all eight owners we will conduct our draft. The draft will be one round per day for eight days. Each day owners will need to PM a list of who they want to draft. Depending on your position in the draft order is how many picks need to be sent. ex.. if your drafting #2 you only need to send in your top 2 picks, if your drafting 6th you need to send 6 picks. Your top available pick will be placed on your team. [B][SIZE="6"]Example of Draft List:[/SIZE][/B] If you are selecting 7th you need to send in 7 picks to make sure you get a fighter. 1. Fedor 2. If Fedor, Rampage, Spider, GSP are all selected, but no one has picked Gomi yet, he would be yours. [B][SIZE="6"]SCHEDULE:[/SIZE][/B] Ok guys, the schedule is up for the season. Each team will have 21 fights for the year. I was asked a good question by an owner, why do we get eight fighters but only have 6 weight classes. This is to give each team more depth. Maybe you have drafted an older fighter who you know will not be around very long, or a great fighter who is a little injury prone. Well with the extra two roster spots you will be able to get a little bit of depth in needed areas. How the schedule works: Each event will feature eight fights, four from one division, four from another division. You will decide who will fight for your team in these fights. If you only have one fighter in that specific weight class then he will be the one fighting, but if it is one of the classes you have a couple fighters , you can choose who you want to fight. Ok, right now we have seven owners and for the first season we will just use eight. So right now we have one spot left. Next season we will expand if more people wish to join.

Also change of plan on using the UFC. We will use the Pride company label. I think it will be better doing it this way so everyone can scout talent easier since you will know where they are fighting. If we took over the UFC and kicked out the rest of the fighters it would be a little more difficult to track down where fighters are etc... We will have 16 feeder leagues going along at the same time as our company is running. This should help really expand the fighter universe for us, and make for a little more fun when going out and researching new talent that we might want to bring in. With this many other companies running we should have a nice selection of fighters to look at and new champions to bring in. Also I have gone in and removed the companies contracts set premier contracts and changed the companies popularities to 0, so no fighter will want to sign an exclusive contract with them. This will allow us to pick and choose who we want from and of the leagues. Downloading Ok League Base installed and working! in the Future is there anyway to do the Drafts More Live ? Can you Clarify the Drafting Rules some as well. Are all fighters current contracts an issue ? (IE: you stated , we will be based in PRIDE ) Also what about Fighters that are up there in age and fight one or 2 fights than retire. ** Edited ** Understand the Way drafting will be handled .

As depending on one persons Draft Choice ahead of me can influence my Pick.[/QUOTE] Current contracts will not be an issue. I have removed all set premier contracts and changed a couple things in the data. With the changes i've made the other companies should not be able to sign fighters to set premier contracts, so we should not have any problem just taking who we want. As for retirements, this falls in line with free agency. If you have a fighter retire you can go out and bring in another fighter, but must stay within the roster limits. Signing fighters is done on a first come basis. The first team to send in there request for the fighter will get them. So if you want to release your Lightweight fighter who hasnt lived up to expectations and sign a new fighter, on FA day let me know you want to release a fighter and sign another.
