Stuart Ferdinand vs Kirk Heidenreich I'm thinking that Kirk is going to keep jobbing it up and paying his dues while helping to build other, better wrestlers up. Barry Kingman vs Stan 'The Man' Manna Ummm...yeah Trent Shaffer vs The Sensational Singh vs Rockin' Ryan Turner vs Jacob Jett for the APWF Cruiserweight Title Of all of them, I think Jett's the best, although my second vote would be for Singh because he's an all around great guy. Nina The Psycho Ballerina vs JeriLynn Stone for the APWF Womens Title I might be wrong because I can't see JeriLynn's stats but I think that Nina will pick up the first strap for a couple reasons. 1) Nina is a more established competitor and 2) Head Bookers picking up the title right off the bat tends to piss off the smarks. But then again, if JeriLynn's stats are amazing by now, then I can see her winning it. Dirty White Boys vs Precision and Power for the APWF Tag Team Title DWB are the best tag team in the division right now, but P&P will be snapping at their heels the whole way... Frankie Perez vs Casey Valentine Tough call, but I'm going with Frankie as he's a bit more experienced in the biz then Casey. Nathan Coleman vs Jack Marlowe -- winner gets shot at APWF Heavyweight Title Jungle Jack is going ALL THE WAAAAAY!!! Shooter Sean Deeley vs Steve Flash -- winner gets shot at APWF Heavyweight Title Shooter is good, but Steve Flash is not only better, but will provide a great championship match against Jack next round. On a side note, is there going to be a hardcore title? If so I think Larry Wood, the former NOTBPW tag team champ might have an interest in it (nudge nudge, wink wink)

Stuart Ferdinand vs Kirk Heidenreich - Ferdinand, unless you did something to make him interesting in the previous version which I admit I didn't read, is the most bland, boring 'non-crap' wrestler ever. Barry Kingman vs Stan 'The Man' Manna - I can hope, right? Trent Shaffer vs The Sensational Singh vs Rockin' Ryan Turner vs Jacob Jett for the APWF Cruiserweight Title - Gotta go with Trent. Turner won't win (possibly ever ¬_¬), it'll take a lot of work to get me to like Singh, even as a heel, and Jett vs. Trent feud would be awesome, so the heel needs to win first ¬_¬ - Nina The Psycho Ballerina vs JeriLynn Stone for the APWF Womens Title She's a ballerina, and a psycho. Any questions? Dirty White Boys vs Precision and Power for the APWF Tag Team Title Precision and Power were in the fateful match where you realised the Bronzed Blondes weren't a natural team, so they clearly need to be punished ¬_¬ Frankie Perez vs Casey Valentine - I... don't know. I just sort of highlighted his name by instinct. Nathan Coleman vs Jack Marlowe -- winner gets shot at APWF Heavyweight Title - He's more interesting. Shooter Sean Deeley vs Steve Flash -- winner gets shot at APWF Heavyweight Title - Flash gets all the gold, everywhere he goes, in every dynasty, ever. Please don't?

Stuart Ferdinand vs Kirk Heidenreich Given that Kirk's got an owner goal pushing him, it would make snese to have him go over talented guys like Stu that can help him improve Barry Kingman vs Stan 'The Man' Manna Stan's the better half of the RCS, but he still isn't very good Trent Shaffer vs The Sensational Singh vs Rockin' Ryan Turner vs Jacob Jett for the APWF Cruiserweight Title Jett always gets the high flyer titles, which is dull. Trent Shaffer is an unknown whatsit to me-he doesn't have much going for him in terms of personaluty. And Ryan Turner is himself a reason why he shouldn't win the belt Nina The Psycho Ballerina vs JeriLynn Stone for the APWF Womens Title If thi is a workrate based fed then I'd say JeriLynn would go over, but given that there's a certain SE quality to it, Nina's character would make for a good champion. Plus, she is fun, which is a good thing Dirty White Boys vs Precision and Power for the APWF Tag Team Title Since No-Neck's SWF diary I've started really digging the DWB, and they'd make great heels for P&P to go up against Frankie Perez vs Casey Valentine Because Perez is nails Nathan Coleman vs Jack Marlowe -- winner gets shot at APWF Heavyweight Title Because Flash needs a heel to beat, and also because I'm sorta starting to get behind Nathan's character-The Pioneer is definitely a cool nickname Shooter Sean Deeley vs Steve Flash -- winner gets shot at APWF Heavyweight Title He's the best wrestler on the roster-give him a manager and he'll gbe a great champion

Back from vacation, and haven't some of us been busy? :p Enjoying this alot. I have told you how creepy it is that you can write this thing from a totally female point of view and nail it to the wall over and over; haven't I? Stuart Ferdinand vs Kirk Heidenreich Barry Kingman vs Stan 'The Man' Manna Trent Shaffer vs The Sensational Singh vs Rockin' Ryan Turner vs Jacob Jett for the APWF Cruiserweight Title Nina The Psycho Ballerina vs JeriLynn Stone for the APWF Womens Title Dirty White Boys vs Precision and Power for the APWF Tag Team Title Frankie Perez vs Casey Valentine Nathan Coleman vs Jack Marlowe -- winner gets shot at APWF Heavyweight Title Shooter Sean Deeley vs Steve Flash -- winner gets shot at APWF Heavyweight Title

OOC Programming note: I'll be doing a retcon of the first show, Rebirth, on account of my game had the error with future companies being selectable for working agreements mentioned in Adam's 6/21 patch notes (see here). Booked the same results and got mostly the same ratings. On the plus side, The Bronzed Blondes no longer have zero chemistry! :D The show I just posted is on the new game, so no worries there. Hopefully there aren't any more weird errors -- I was going to live with the tag team visibility one, but both that one and the future company one, I decided a restart was reasonable since I wasn't too far in.

This forced PSW to vacate the PSW National title without Parker ever having defended it, despite having won the new title back in October. The second, which occurred just last night [Sunday, Week 3, January 2008] at PSW's monthly show held at The Ministry in Queens, involved a potentially career-ending injury for PSW main event star and longtime DaVE stalwart Jeff Daniel Morgan. According to sources backstage at PSW, Morgan's injury occured during his main event match at PSW Hellbound, where he tagged with Teddy Powell against The New Jersey Devils. Amateur video of the match shows Tank Bradley pulling Morgan into the corner for a ringpost arm smash, followed up by a chair shot to Morgan's exposed right arm. The point of Morgan's elbow took the full brunt of the chairshot, which x-rays would later reveal shattered both the medial and lateral epicondyles, completely separating them from the humerus bone. Morgan was taken to Mount Horeb Medical Center in Queens, where his arm was initially treated and stabilized. Dr. Kendrick Hagger, the head of orthopedics at Mount Horeb, will conduct reconstructive surgery on Morgan's elbow in the next one or two days. The extent of damage to Morgan's elbow will neccesitate a full joint replacement according to a hospital spokesperson. Sadly, this injury may mark the end of Morgan's 20-year career in the ring. Recovery is expected to take anywhere from 12 to 15 months, at which point Morgan would be nearly 41 years old. Morgan's years of service in hardcore-themed federations like PSW, DaVE and Men of Steel Combat in his native Britain leaves him a catalog of injuries that has taken its toll on Morgan's body. Whether this latest damage is enough to sideline Morgan permanently or just for the next year to year and a half, it leaves PSW with a gaping hole in its main event roster that it will need to fill in the next weeks.

Late Tuesday, Week 4, January 2008 I waited impatiently as the phone rang in my ear. C'mon, pick up already. Pick up damnit-- "Hey JeriLynn, it's Edd." I was momentarily stunned. "Edd? Why do you have Kirk's phone?" "I'm hanging with him while he gets stiched up -- he asked me to pick it up since he heard your ringtone. I figure you saw it on TV?" "Yeah." Kirk had flown out to California to work a TCW Total Wrestling show; I had traded two appearances of him for Clark Alexander. In a match with Freddy Huggins, Kirk got a nasty gash on his head when he took a tumble out of the ring and landed just past the ringside padding onto the concrete floor. He was bleeding profusely and I could tell that Gene Williams, the ref working the match, had them go home early, which led me to speculate that Kirk's gusher was accomplished the hard way. But I figured I'd better be sure. "Edd, be straight with me, that was not worked, right?" "Oh, no, definitely not," came Edd's quick reply. "Tommy only allows a handful of guys to blade. At first, he wouldn't even let Eddie Peak do it, but since Eddie is more than willing to open himself up whether he blades or not, it became a moot point." "So you're on first name terms with the boss, eh?" "For what it's worth, I guess. He really likes Kirk -- go figure, right now he's a prototypical TCW hoss." That got my dander up. I began to retort, "Hey, he's worked his goddamn tail off--" "Woah, woah, cool your jets. I said right now he's like that. But even I can tell he's gotten better over the past few months. Tommy can see it too -- he actually asked me to talk to Kirk a few months back about a full-time contract. I'd told him he wouldn't do it unless you were part of the deal, and in an in-ring capacity. He actually thought about it for a while, then the news broke about you and Kirk signing on with the Kingmans." Wow. That bit of news really surprised me. I started to respond, but Edd continued. "Look, before I lose my nerve here...I owe you an apology. I said some sh*tty things to you when I left, and both Duane and Jeremy swear you didn't know what Dad was doing." I considered Edd's words coldly. I wasn't entirely convinced of his sincerity. "I didn't," I replied flatly. "I know that now. That's part of the reason I'm hanging here with Kirk -- if I didn't no one else would, and it sucks being hurt and alone." That last bit sounded very much like the voice of experience; it made me reconsider my prior hardness. "I appreciate it, Edd -- both the apology and watching Kirk's back out there. Next time I swap with Tommy I'll bring you out here, how's that sound?" "Sounds like a party to me, JL -- and you know I'm always up for a party." ---------- Prediction Standings: Blood on the Snow (Overall) theoutlaw321: 7/8 (7/8) Dansc: 6/8 (13/16) 1PWfan: 5/8 (12/16) Actarus: 5/8 (10/16) Astil: 5/8 (10/16) Jaded: 5/8 (5/8) praguepride: 5/8 (8/16) D-Lyrium: 4/8 (4/8) smurphy1014: 1/8 (6/16) d_w_w: 3/8 (3/8)

Edd Stone in APWF? Sounds like a party to me (Edd was always my favourite Stone, which is in and of itself a reason to like TCW, even disregarding everything else). As for the shows, you're doing a great job with the booking, making them almost like NOTBPW without actually being NOTBPW (that air of 'you pretty much kno wwhat's gonna happen, but you know it's gonna be good anyway') whilst still throwing in some unexpected twists.

"Congratualations, JeriLynn, your cut of profit sharing for the month of January is the tidy sum of $129.04. Don't spend it all in one place!" "Gee, I'd drive into the city and go shopping, but I'd spend it all on the gas just getting there!" I replied to Ray's good-natured ribbing. The arrangement I'd made with Ray was similar to the family profit-sharing plan in NOTBPW -- each family member had the choice to either draw a straight salary or they could get a percentage of the monthly profits. Since Kirk and I were together, Kirk drew a straight salary ($4,000/month) while I would get 2% of APWF's profit each month, which in this case was just shy of $6,500. Not the most impressive of numbers, but we were in the black, which given the state of the US economy was no small accomplishment. Still, I wanted to keep as much powder dry for the long term, and that meant not dipping into Ray's war chest if I could at all help it. Ray shared my pragmatic view and was plenty happy drawing a comfortable salary for both himself and Barry and still turning a profit, albiet a meager one for the moment. The one thing that really helped was the fact that we were in the black even though we didn't hold a show in Tri-State, where we could draw a larger crowd. Our next show, however, was just down the road in Pennsylvania Park and I was confident of our ability to sell out the venue which made February's projections look good. Great write-ups as usual 'Banger. I must admit to being a little shocked to see J.L. & Edd patch things up. I came away thinking that Edd is less of a d*** then MOSC's Jefferey McPeterson. But not by much... I guess we can look forward to a show soon! Can't wait.
