Good to show Togg, nice to see alot of the older guys can still go. The Night of Champions write-up should be posted by tomorrow, if anybody wishes to make any final predictions.
I see the majority of you believe the WWE title will change hands. I can reveal that this match is the Main Event of the show. It should be up soon. ;)

Good idea on the nostalgic heat, however it seems that it would have taken more time then alloted if it actually occured (aka more segments then needed.) but was a fun bit. :) Liking the diary for some reason. I usually dont follow much, but this one perked my interest.

Thanks for reading! :) Night of Champions should be up tonight.

Best and Worst C.E.O's With the first Tri-Branded PPV out of the way. what was you thoughts on the 3 weeks before? and the PPV its self? who had the best storylines, roster management, and best Show Line ups. With little time left you can now cast your deciding vote on who is the Brand of the Month. On a more fun note here is one other voting sections to make yourself heard. Decice who is the worst C.E.O based on just there creative side, do you like Raw's Money Inc., Smackdowns Diva Division or ECW's Tag Team of Boogeyman and Hornswoggle? Did any brand go to far over the edge? not push the boundrys enough? or did they just put on a load of nonsence. Vote now and leave your opinions and idea's for all 3 of us.

Over the past 24 hours speculation has been rife with everyone hearing that Austin would have a huge announcement to make on Raw. With Austin in the middle of the ring he asks for a moment. He tells everyone that starting next week will be the “Re-Crowning” of King of the Ring 2008. 8 Men will compete over 3 weeks and the winner will be Crowned King in the final at the Great American Bash. Destiny’s team seem the weaker of the two as Mike Posey tires towards the end of the contest. Estrada takes a break from managing in this match, but soon shows ring rust as he too tires before the match ends. Tony Chimel announces Knox and Nunzio together, solidifying the fact that the two are now a unit. Chavo Guerrero in particular stands out as impressive in this match, and dominates Mike Posey until he is able to get the hot tag to Rory McAllister, who starts with wild right hands, but is soon knocked to the mat by the powerful Bam Neely. The match comes to a close when Chavo pins Robbie McAllister after a Gory Bomb. Estrada/Bam/Chavo/K&N beat Mark/Sydal/Mike/Highlanders in 16:48 Rating: D Shelton Benjamin versus Alex Shelley The evening’s live broadcast on Sci-Fi begins with Shelton Benjamin, accompanied by his partner Elijah Burke, taking on Alex Shelley. Adamle, Styles and Tazz all mention how close Burke and Benjamin came to leaving Night of Champions with the ECW Tag Team Championships around their waists. Burke soon causes a distraction, which allows Benjamin to roll up Shelley and gain the win. Shelton Benjamin defeats Alex Shelley in 2:38 by pinfall Rating: C- We cut backstage to find Chavo Guerrero and his bodyguard Bam Neely having a conversation: Neely: I don’t understand Chavo. We’ve won matches on ECW for the past three weeks, yet we weren’t included in the Tag Title match on Sunday. Chavo: This is the thing Bam. All of our hard work is for nothing. I’ve learned the hard way that if you want something around here, you have to take it yourself. Chavo smiles and looks into Neely’s eyes. Neely nods and shakes Chavo’s hand as the two walk off. Rating: C- Big Daddy V & Matt Striker versus Colin Delaney and Jim Duggan Delaney puts in a seemingly poor performance in this contest as Big Daddy V dominates the youngster with forearms in the early parts of the match. Joey Styles on commentary specifically mentions how surprised he was that Big Daddy V and Matt Striker were the first team eliminated from the title match on Sunday. Big Daddy V dominates both Delaney and Duggan throughout the match, however Delaney soon begins to fight back, and gets the hot tag to Jim Duggan. Duggan looks promising, but is soon flattened by a huge Elbow Drop from Big Daddy V to end the match. Student & Teacher defeat Colin Delaney and Jim Duggan in 6:54 Rating: D CM Punk versus The Big Show Punk shocks the World in this contest as Mister Money In The Bank quickly manages to roll The Big Show up to win the match. The crowd are hot in this match, and Big Show and Punk seem to have good chemistry working against one another. CM Punk defeats Big Show in 2:38 by pinfall with a Roll-Up Rating: C+ Following the conclusion of the contest, after both men have made their way to the back, one half of the ECW Tag Team Champions John Morrison comes to ringside. He takes a microphone and addresses the crowd: Morrison: Two nights ago at Night of Champions, The Miz and I once again retained our Championships. Tonight we have to wrestle a non-title match against those freaks, Hornswoggle and Boogeyman, and if they win, they get a title shot. That’s not going to happen. Full stop. Morrison throws the microphone to the floor as his music blasts through the arena and we head to a commercial break. Rating: B- Carlito versus Davey Richards Mike Adamle mentions that RAW’s Carlito is appearing on tonight’s show as a way to prove that he can compete anywhere following his disappointing performance on Sunday as he and Santino failed to win the World Tag Team Championships. Carlito impresses here, hitting a Low Blow on Richards behind the referee’s back followed by a Backstabber to gain the victory. Carlito defeats Davey Richards in 3:52 by pinfall with a Backstabber Rating: C- We cut backstage following a commercial break to find Elijah Burke demonstrating his biceps to a crew member. Tommy Dreamer walks into the shot and looks at Burke in disgust. Burke looks irritated: Burke: What? You think you can do better old man? When was the last time you went to the gym? Dreamer: I’m not going to listen to your crap Burke. Meet me where it counts. In the ring, five minutes. Burke nods at Dreamer and the two seem to look each other in the eye as Dreamer then makes his way towards the ring. Rating: C+ Elijah Burke versus Tommy Dreamer Mike Adamle mentions to the audience at home how Dreamer may be past his prime, but is soon cut off by Tazz, who sticks up for his ECW Original. Sure enough, Dreamer soon pins Elijah Burke following a huge DDT. Tommy Dreamer defeats Elijah Burke in 1:40 by pinfall with a DDT Rating: C- Kane is walking backstage awaiting his mystery opponent for later tonight. He opens a door to find Mark Henry. Mark Henry slams the door in Kane’s face and knocks him to the floor: Henry: You want an opponent for tonight Big Red Machine? I’m leaving ECW with the ECW Championship around my waist. See you in the ring. Mark Henry laughs at the fallen Champion as he walks off, throwing the title belt onto Kane as he walks away. Rating: B- Mickie James versus Layla Layla gets a torrid of abuse from the crowd in this match, with the fans clearly not being happy with her constant attacks on Kelly Kelly. Joey Styles tells the fans that Mickie has come to ECW to receive more competition before she can challenge Beth Phoenix for the Womens Championship again. The fans soon get bored of the match, as Layla knocks Kelly to the floor with a huge dropkick. Before long, Kelly Kelly’s music hits, as she stands on the entranceway. The distraction allows Mickie to hit a huge DDT on Layla, winning the match. Mickie James defeats Layla in 2:42 by pinfall after Interference Rating: D- The happy-go-lucky Kofi Kingston makes his way to ringside following a commercial break. He takes a microphone and addresses the fans: Kingston: As many of you know, over the past few weeks I’ve been looking for a tag team partner, but having little success every time. Before Kingston can finish his sentence Mike Knox’s music hits and he follows Kingston to the ring with his own microphone: Knox: Nobody cares about your situation Kingston. Did you not see last week’s show? There’s a new group in town. Nunzio and myself are unstoppable. I’ll show you. Knox suddenly drops the microphone and runs at the Jamaican Sensation, levelling Kingston with a Clothesline. Knox smiles and leaves the ring as we head to commercial. Rating: D Non-Title: Miz and Morrison versus Boogeyman & Hornswoggle Joey Styles puts over the fact that Boogeyman and Hornswoggle will get a future Championship match should they be victorious here. The ECW Tag Team Champions dominate the match at first, with The Miz levelling Boogeyman with a huge big boot in the corner of the ring. Boogeyman soon fights back however, and manages to reach to Hornswoggle, and the tag occurs. Hornswoggle immediately goes to the top rope and hits a Tadpole Splash on Morrison to win the match for his team. Freaks of Nature beat Miz & Morrison in 3:19 Hornswoggle pins Morrison Rating: D+ ECW Championship: Kane © versus Mark Henry Both of these two go at it straight away, with neither huge men wanting to be the first one knocked to the mat. Mike Adamle puts over the fact that the open challenge could have been answered by anyone, and it would be a shame for Kane to lose the title after such a successful defence at Night of Champions. Mark Henry soon begins to dominate The Big Red Machine though, eventually hitting a Big Splash, and holding the ropes for leverage as the referee counts to three as we end the show with Henry holding the ECW Championship in the air above him. Mark Henry beats Kane in 3:27 by pinfall to win the ECW Championship Rating: C+ Show Rating: C
It was a good show but the matches were just so short it would be hard to really get into them.
Thanks for your comment. Togg had the same opinion on the match lengths. I perhaps made a mistake in making Big Daddy V and Striker's tag match too long.
