February in Review Running two shows a month as expected cost us financially again (a loss of around $18,000) but Senor Lopez is keen for us to establish ourselves on the mainland. In my opinion Senor Lopez needs to perhaps look into the option of meeting with some investors but it seems unlikely that he would be willing to give up control of HIS company, because if he wants FCW to grow we will need to find investment from somewhere, because making financial cutbacks and scrimping on being able to deliver the quality we are capable of, isn't going to cut it and would more likely see us lose rather than gain the fanbase we have managed to build up, even if that fanbase is almost entirely concentrated on the island of Puerto Rico. Xavi Ferrerra a highly touted local prospect that has already signed on with USPW has also agreed to join up with us and will make his debut at our next show. It was also revealed at the Ataque Contario show that the mystery returnee was Sara Silver. Some fans may have been disappointed was not an in-ring talent but Silver has a storied and colourful history in FCW, especially went it comes to her involvement with our top heel Mainstream Hernandez. Departing from FCW are Amo Del Gato and Spirit. Del Gato's second run with the promotion never amounted to anything in the end, though the intention was there to eventually see him established amongst the midcard and at least rise to the level of being able to challenge for the People's Championship but if truth be told he failed to impress Senor Lopez who felt he just wasn't tough enough. Spirit was basically used as a fall guy for the Mainstream Nation, despite being on a cheap contract, we were flying in him from Japan nearly every month and for the role he as performing we realised that wasn't exactly financially viable. In the end with his contract winding down we simply phased out his evolvement with his final match being the pre-show three way at Batalla Final with fellow departee Amo Del Gato and Austin Smooth. Phoenix Negra, Boriken Love Machine Jr and Matt Hocking all agreed to new deals. Negra is one of our star performers who somewhat thankfully for us hasn't broken out as much as he has in FCW, this may be due to the fact that the wrestler behind the mask works exclusively for FCW under the Phoenix Negra gimmick. Boriken is a local fan favourite, who has proven to be a decent addition to the roster since his arrival, he's not really ready yet to compete at the main event level on the regular basis but he's proven to have the talent to maintain his spot on the roster, in other words rather thankfully he is not the second coming of Island Boy Apollo. Matt Hocking has been with FCW since day one and even though he has never really risen beyond the lower end of the Midcard, he has proven to be a solid hand and at still only 24 years of age still has time on his side to eventually rise the ranks. __________________________________________________________ Rival Promotion Watch CZCW's Vendetta event was hurt by the fact that champion Ultimate Phoenix decided to work elsewhere (*cough* FCW *cough*) resulting in a show that whilst not disastrous was well below what they are capable of (C). The main event saw Mick Muscles defeat Matt Sparrow in a solid number one contenders match (C+). As awesome as Phoenix is, it seems that the success of CZCW lives or dies on him making it to the show, which given the fact that he clearly sees both OLLIE and FCW as higher priorities doesn't mean that is always going to be the case. MAW put on the strongest event of all the independent promotions this month with their Black and White event (B) due almost intirely to a great main event that saw JD Morgan succesfully defend the Mid Atlantic Championship against RCI winner Jay Chord (B+) NYCW's Hunting Season event was the usual average fare (C). The main event was a special attraction Tag match that saw Shady K team with Lassana Makutsi to defeat Erik Strong and Rick Sanders (C), whilst Edd Stone succesfully defended the Empire Title against Andre Jones in the semi main event (also C). PSW's Surrender or Die event maintained the still not great but not as bad as they used to be standards they've been setting over the past year (C-) with a pretty good main event that saw JD Morgan succesfully defend the title against Hollywood Brett Starr (C+). Yes your eyes did not deceive you, as Morgan did not face Knuckles for about the millionth time in the main event. RIPW continue to put on the poorest shows of all the Regional sized independents and their Forsaken show was no different (D+). Though they did not help matters by putting on a mediocre tag match between Mick Muscles and Jim Force against Matt Sparrow and Tully Arthurs that went to a no contest (D) in the main event, especially considering that Avalanche and Ekuma put together a fairly decent match for the RIPW Championship in the semi main event slot (C). _________________________________________________________ February News and Notes From Around The Wrestling World Worker Signings Ochiyo Ijima who never amounted to much more than an opening level worker in her first run with 5SSW returns to the promotion on a written deal. Lauren Easter returns to AAA for the first time in four years, Easter who made little impact in her first run with the leading all womens promotion in North America will be hoping that her current run with AAA will go much better this time round. Kazuma Narato finally returns to the big time as he signs a written deal with BHOTWG. In fact BHOTWG have really gone to town with boosting their roster for their up-coming tour with former SWF star John 'Squeeky' McLean, Arthur Dexter Bradley, Jean Cattley, Masked Cougar and Mitsunari Fuganaga all signing on to partake in their upcoming spring tour. Farrah Hesketh replaces Sara Silver at the commentary booth in BSC, whilst Joanna Silver (no relation to Sara) also joins the roster. Ryan Powell leaves SWF to return to the promotion where he first made his name CGC and Ash Campbell is also given another chance with the Canadian promotion. Former BHOTWG developmental prospect Reijiro Hiraki returns to the promotion he debut in Hinote Dojo for the first time in six years. Even though Hiraki never broke through in BHOTWG he has built a reputation as a solid hand on the independent circuit, where he also works for Exodus 2010 and SAISHO. At still only 27 years of age he still also has time to one day get the call from one of the major promotions. Pirata Malvado is the latest star down in Mexico to add MHW to his schedule. PGHW call up Kalu Owusu from development in SAISHO and also add Billy Russell, Merle O'Curle, Morimasa Kato and Burning Takash!ta to their roster for their up coming spring tour. Former developmental prospect, Goemon Komiya released from PGHW returns to SAISHO on a PPA deal. Lenny Brown adds USPW to his schedule, who also add teenage prospect Xavi Ferrara to their roster. XWA add Citizen X and Fox Mask (working under his alternate Snow Fox hood) to their roster. Worker Extensions 21CW extend the contracts of Danny Patterson, Edward Cornell, Rolling Johnny Stone and Stefan Raynor. 5SSW tie down Yuma Maruya, Yukiko Matsumara, legends Sensational Ogiwara and Thunder Hike plus announcer Kuniyoshi Chishu and referee Yasuyuki Terakado to exclusive written contracts. AAA extend the contracts of Vampella, manager Grace Harper, color commentator/head booker Catherine Quine and personality Whistler. BHOTWG secure Yasuhiko Taira, Kansuke Konda, Kanisoki and current head booker, the legendary Hooded Kudo to new written contracts, whilst Eisaku Hoshino has his lucrative PPA arrangement extended. BSC extend the contracts of Stephanie Wade, Officer Goodhead, referee Heather Halo and head booker/road agent Marilyn Stardust. A busy month of contract negotiations for CGC who extend the deals of Edd Stone, Hugh De Aske, Lee Rivera, Philip LaGrenier, Dirty Frank, road agent Ed Monton, valet Jenny Playmate, referee Francis Long and 'analyst' Roger Rogers. CWWF extend the contracts of Brooke Tyler, Eve Grunge, Roz Larren, referee Lois Hudson and road agent Chance. CZCW extend the contracts of longtime roster mainstay Fox Mask, Masked Patriot and Oscar Golden. EWA extend the contracts of Bam Bam Johansson, Notorious F.R.E.A.K and womens wrestler Anna Ki. Exodus 2010 extend the contract of referee Kazuko Hiroyuki. Burning Takash!ta extends his PPA arrangement with GCG. Hinote Dojo extend the PPA deals of Akima Brave and Strong Style Yoemon. MAW extend the contracts of Java, Thimbley Langton, road agent Black Hat Bailey and manager/current head booker Farrah Hesketh. MHW extend the contract of Gino Montero. MOSC extend the contracts of Edward Cornell, Philip Cornell and manager Mark Moore. MPWF extend the contracts of Dragon Del Arco Iris Jr, El Bandito, El Serpiente, Genio Verde, Hombre De La Energia, Payaso Jr, valet Gabriel Ortega and referee Benn NOTBPW secure Ricky DeColt, Kid Toma and road agent Jason Rogers to new written contracts. NYCW extend the contract of valet Fern Hathaway. OLLIE extend the contracts of Luis Montero Jr, valet Secreto and referee Benito Garcia. PGHW secure on of their roster mainstays Eisaku Kunomasu to an exclusive new written contract. PSW extend the deals of Richie Riggins, road agent Curt O'Malley and referee R.M Stones. RIPW extend the PPA deals of Philippe LaGrenier, Tully Arthurs, color commentator Duke Hazzard and manager Brains McGhee. ROF extend the contract of Wade Orson. SAISHO extend the PPA deal of Totoya Munakata, Stuart Ferdinand and announcer Teriuhi Inoue. SOTBPW extend the contracts of Amazing Fire Fly, Heavy Metal Anarchy Soda de La Uva Jr and Referee Ramirez. Bart Biggz, Erik Strong, Harry Allen, Honest Frank, James Prudence, Remmy Skye plus manager Playboy Jake Sawyer extend their stay in the SWF on a PPA arrangement. TCW secure Troy Tornado, Wolf Hawkins, Steven Parker and referee Jay Fair to exclusive new written contracts. UEW extend the contract of Rahabad Lawal and referee Gary Garrett. USPW extend the contracts of Ekuma the Hawaiian Strong Man, John Greed, womens wrestler Tracy Brendon and general hanger on and occasional appearance maker Giant Redwood. Nathan Coleman signs an exlusive new written contract with WLW and Eisaku Hoshino keeps his lucrative PPA arranagment rolling on. Worker Releases/Departures Sara Silver departs from BSC stating that she would rather concentrate on her commitments elsewhere. Citizen X fails to come to terms on a new contract with CZCW. Mitsunari Fuganaga leaves Exodus 2010 and INSPIRE , stating that he can't give either promotion the commitment warranted due to an increasingly busy schedule that includes working for two major promotions in WLW and BHOTWG. Kazuma Narato leaves Hinote Dojo, INSPIRE and SAISHO after signing an exclusive written deal with BHOTWG. Grease Hogg fails to agree a new contract with MAW. Bradford Peverall is unable to agree a new contract with NYCW. Former developmental prospect Goemon Komiya is released by PGHW, in all honesty Komiya was never given much of a chance since he got the call up from SAISHO in 2010 and never rose above being anything more than a jobber, albeit 'Young Lions' do tend to lose the majority of their matches when called up to the big leagues but Komiya was rarely made to look strong in defeat and thus the PGHW fans never caught on him to be a future star for PGHW. Brendon Idol leaves RIPW, over the simple fact that he wishes to concentrate on commitments elsewhere. Ryan Powell leaves the ailing SWF, feeling that his career would be better off by returning to his native Canada. Hirokazua Yamanoue leaves WLW, as does announcer Kuniyoshi Chishu who decided to sign on exclusively for Joshi promotion 5SSW. Chishu part of the second string announce team in WLW, where as in 5SSW he is treated as the main man at their announce table. Injuries The Insane Heat sustained a minor concussion in his XWA International Title match against Snow Fox and has been advised not to wrestle for the next month. Out in Japan Exodus 2010' Speed D is currently strugglin with a strained Rotator Cuff. Worker Retirements Raven Nightall took the decision to hang up the wrestling boots this month, going out on top with the BSC promotion as their Queen of the Ring champion. However it is with AAA that Raven Nightfall made her biggest impact where she twice won their top title the Femme Fatale Championship , whilst she also had runs with the Top Contenders title and the Tag Team belts alongside (Black Widow). One of the most prominent female wrestlers on the North American circuit of her generation, Nightfall was never quite in the same class as a Wanda Fish but she was solid enough inside of the ring and aligned a unique look and good entertainment skills she was able to rise to mixing it amongst the top tier in North American women's wrestling. The IWC rejoiced as Peter McCann better known as Pete the Hillbilly called time on his in-ring career. Much maligned by smart-marks McCann however remained relatively over with the USPW fanbase for much of his time with the promotion and alongside his kayfabe brother Al, twice captured the USPW Tag Team Titles, in recent years he even had a run with the (albeit worthless) Intercontinental belt. However in the last few years with even the generous USPW fanbase realising just how awful he is as a wrestler, McCann spent much of his time as job fodder to younger more talented workers as Alicia Strong looks to move USPW away from it's image of being a semi retirement home for former TCW/SWF talent. Media News NOTBPW are to revive their Championship Wrestling TV programme on the Canadian I-Broadcasting channel and will see Canada's top promotion return to four hours of TV time per week from next month. TCW struck a deal with the European Sports Network to show their Action Packed show in Europe (obviously) and WLW struck the same deal with Euro Cable Sports 4 for their Combat TV show. Title Changes The 10 month long 21CW Tag Team Title reign of the Buccanneers (Jay B and Louis Figo Manico) was brought to an end by Danny Patterson and Rolling Johnny Stones. Dharma Gregg and Olivia Diamond became the new Tag Team champions in AAA ending the year long reign of Alison Capone and Jana Marie Bowen. Raven Nightfall vacated the BSC Queen of the Ring Title following her retirement from in-ring competion. Nightfall defeated Stephanie Wade in her final match and a new champion is expected to be crowned next month. Former TCW and DaVE star Guide defeated Mitsunari Fuganaga to win Exodus 2010's top title the Golden Crown. Mercury defeated JOJI to win the Silver Crown for the first time and the Double Crown also changed hands with Stealth Z and JOJI defeating Shirai Yanagawa and Tasuku Shinozuka. After a whole year of the GCG World Heavyweight Title being traded between Gaijin talent, the belt was back round the waist of a home grown star with Hiroyasu Gakusha defeating Matthew Keith to become a three time champion. Dean Daniels defeated Akima Brave to win the Hinote Dojo Triple Crown vacated by Kazuma Narato. Tasuku Iesada regained the INSPIRE King of Fighters title from Nigel Svensson to win the belt for a record setting 5th time. El Bandito defeated Hysteria for the Campeon de Lucha Title in MPWF. This is actually a step down for Bandito who is a four time 'World' Champion and many see this as a sign that the ageing 44 year old veteran is being phased out of the main event scene. Torajiro Sekazowa defeated Strong Style Yoemon to become the new SAISHO Destiny Champion, to take claim of another belt vacated by Kazuma Narato's departure to BHOTWG. The juggernaut pairing of Ricky Dale Johnson and Ares (formerly known as Vengeance) defeated the Machines (John Anderson and Brent Hill) to become the new TCW World Tag Team Champions. Katherine Goodlooks upset Casey Valentine for the USPW Intercontinental Title. This is the second time a female has won the belt (Wanda Fish was the first back in 2012). Since the Intercontinental belt was introduced it has mostly been fought over by male competitors despite officially being a mixed gender championship and a female competing for yet alone winning the title is treated as something out of norm. Barei Yasujiro regained the Show Stealer title from Haru Kurofuji to win the belt for a fourth time, whilst Nathaniel Ca$ino defeated Magnum KOBE to become the Street Fighting Champion for the first time.

Delorean Driver.com Your Top Wrestling News Site Notes From A Small Island: FCW return to action at the Ricardo Montenez Ballroom in San Juan on Thursday 20th March, to present FCW Traicon. The big question amongst FCW's fans lips is why is Sara Silver back in FCW and will she be at this month's event to explain her return. If it has anything to do with her one time love interest Mainstream Hernandez then she may well have a keen interest in the main event a special attraction Tag match that will see the leader of the Mainstream Nation team up with the current Undisputed Champion Apathy to take on The Brothers Phoenix. Even though Ultimate Phoenix and Phoenix Negra are tagging again here, neither have made no secret of the fact that they now have their eyes back on the top prize in FCW. The semi main event will see a re-match from Batalla Final as Billy Russell once again faces off with Carl Batch Enterprises Inc. chief asset 'Speed Machine' Marc Speed. The former People's Champion took former MMA star Billy Russell to a twenty minute time limit draw at Batalla Final and both will be keen to prove that not only can he 'hang' with Russell he also has what it takes to beat the local favourite. Puerto Rican Power came up short of regaining the Twin Belts at the recent En Viaje show in Philadelphia, thanks in no small part to the inteference of the Mainstream Nation and he will be keen to take out his frustrations of one of their members in the form of Joseph. However Joseph is no longer the naive pushover of days gone by and he could cause the patriotic hero some problems. Meanwhile Power's patriotic ally and occasional tag team partner Boriken Love Machine Jr will take on the 'monster' of the Mainstream Nation Soul Krusher. Amazing Fire Fly recently retained the People's Championship against Charles Rainier on the latest En Viaje show due to the interference of his fellow LEA member, faction leader Angel De Mexico. However it was 'help' that Fire Fly felt to be unwarranted and he confronted Angel afterwards over the LEA leaders actions, leading to Fire Fly near enough offering Angel a match for the People's Championship due to the fact that he felt Angel (who is the only member of the LEA not to currently be holding a title) was perhaps a little jealous of his success. Monitoring the situaton the FCW Championship Commitee have taken the decision to give Angel a shot at the title but due to the way the match between Fire Fly and Charles Rainier ended they have also given Rainier another shot at the belt, thus making the People's Championship match at Traicion a 3-way dance. The other pairing to hold gold right now in the Lucha Equity Alliance are the current Tag Team champions The Sons of Lucha Libre (El Mitico Jr and Capitao Brasil Jr) who will put the belts on the line against old rivals Animal Magic (Fox Mask and Masked Cougar). Even though the Son's seem to be going from strength to strength having come off the better over a series of matches against the Affliction Trinity, Animal Magic are former three time champions and have the ability and Tag Team know how to once again wear the Tag Team belts round their waists. Following their failure to win back the Tag Team Titles, the Affliction Trinity will be looking to get back on the winning, well what is left of it because they have let to find a replacement for Bulldozer Brandon Smith as the third member and one has to wonder if this is having an effect on the remaining duo of Nicky R!ot and Dean Daniels. Both will be in singles action with R!ot going one on one with Team FREEDOM's Jared Johnson fresh off a momentum boosting victory at En Viaje over one half of the Tag Team Champions Capitao Brasil Jr, whilst Dean Daniels will surely be favoured to win a 4 Corner Survival featuring Quentin Queen, Austin Smooth and Bill E Stone (who will be making his main show debut. Rounding out the main show No! Dance2Win and the newly re-christened Primal Shock will once again lock horns with each other, this time in a Barrio Street Fight. These two teams have been embroiled in a feud with one another since the end of last year and both teams will be keen to get the decisive victory over the other and be able to move on. Those who can get to the Monty early will be treated to bonus pre-show action with one half of Los Beetoolz Lennon McHarrison taking on the debuting Xavi Ferrara. Apathy & Mainstream Hernandez vs The Brothers Phoenix Okay, so maybe this time I'll get it right. Negra gets the fall over Apathy to set up a title shot and Silver is in some way responsible for it... Billy Russell vs Speed Machine I dunno why. I think BR might be a whole bunch more over and you'll wait before letting Speed beat that? I dunno. Machine attacks him after the bell if this is the case. Heck, I could even see this going to a draw again. People's Championship: Amazing Fire Fly vs Angel De Mexico vs Charles Rainier Rainier almost takes it due to tensions running high in the LEA camp. AdM tries to cheat his way to victory, thus upsetting AFF, but ultimately the Amazing noe retains. Tag Team Championship: The Sons of Lucha Libre vs Animal Magic Since that time the belts bounced around like a pinball you seem to have favoured stability in the tag division, so... Jared Johnson vs Nicky R!ot This may seem out there, but I have a feeling that one of the Trinity of Two will be on the losing side, so I can see JJ with the upset. Unless, again, a third Trinity member appears? Joseph vs Puerto Rican Power Yeah, no upset here. Boriken Love Machiner Jr vs Soul Krusher I'm torn on this one. Krusher doesn't really need to win to stay a credible monster threat, but BLM is dangerously close to becoming the new AdM in that he just can't seem to get a solid win... Barrio Street Fight: No! Dance2Win vs Primal Shock Another toughie. I think it just makes sense to have N!D2W win because they'll fit better as challengers for the Sons... Could go either way, though. 4CS: Austin Smooth vs Bill E Stone vs Dean Daniels vs Quentin Queen This being the reason I chose R!ot to lose earlier. I can't see any of these men beating the Deanster. Lennon McHarrison vs Xavi Ferrera Debuts tend to win. Especially over Beatles impersonators.

Those re-renders do look good, so I'll probably will make use of them (most likely the mask/bandana combo one for Capitao) Anyway next show should be up tommorow sometime, would have got it up earlier but have distracted elsewhere, to be honest one of those distractions has been thinking about TEW2010 which looking at the new features that are going to be introduced so far, is going to be on a whole new level of awesomeness.

Boriken went to take the fight straight to Soul Krusher at the star of the match , but the Mainstream Nation Monster just shrugged off the patriotic masked man's barrage of strikes and felled Boriken with a single clothesline. Krusher then dragged Boriken from pillar to post, as if he was toying with the masked fan favourite, before deciding to go for a corner splash but Boriken was able to move out of the way and then nail Krusher with an Enziguri off the apron. Boriken then came off the top rope with a missile drop-kick that was able to put the big man down for a two count. With Krusher still down Boriken decided to go high risk again but Krusher was able to get back to his feet and he sent the masked man crashing back into the ring with a press slam. From there Krusher applied the Life Taker (Bear Hug) but before he could lock it on tightly Boriken managed to fight out with a series of elbows to the top of the head before taking Krusher off balance with a series of kicks to the legs. With Krusher unbalanced Boriken then charged in off the ropes but was stopped in his tracks with a Uranage Slam, earning Krusher a close two count. Krusher then set Boriken up for the Dead Man Walking only for Boriken to fight his way out again before unbalancing Krusher with some more kicks to the legs. The plan was starting to work for Boriken, who then headed up top and drove the Mainstream Nation monster into the canvas with a top-rope Bull-Dog. Boriken then waited for Krusher to stagger back to his feet before stunning the big man with the LOVE GUN (Double Knee Facebreaker) and that was enough to keep Krusher down for the three count, as Boriken got back to winning ways. Result: Boriken Love Machine Jr defeated Soul Krusher in 7:11 by pinfall with a Love Gun. After Dewey Libertine applied a double count, Mitico then pitched Fox Mask into the ring for a quick cover. Fox Mask managed to kick out but things began to settle down after that with the Sons now clearly in control. A German suplex/slingshot senton combo got the Sons another close two count before Fox Mask went low on Capitao as the 'Brazilian' looked to tag Mitico back into the match, before the Animal Magic man stunned Capitao with an Enziguri. Fox Mask then managed to get the tag into Masked Cougar before Capitao as able to shake the cobwebs from his head and get Mitico tagged in. After getting a cheap shot in on Mitico, Cougar turned his attention's to Capitao. After a leaping lariat and a drop-kick, Cougar went for a quick cover before dragging Capitao into the Animal Magic corner. AM then proceeded to go into heel tag team tactics 101 mode- which even included Alyssa Viperini who had accompanied AM ringside getting in some cheap shot something that drew the ire of El Mitico Jr. Capitao and the Sons of Lucha Libre's title reign then looked to be in real trouble when Fox Mask took Capitao down with a standing Fox Flip Off DDT, so much so that Mitico dived in to make the save at two. Mitico was then ordered back to his corner by Dewey Libertine, allowing for Fox Mask to bring out a chain and start choking Capitao out, then as Libertine turned his attention back to the match, Fox Mask discarded of the foreign object and then proceeded with covering Capitao. But to Animal Magic's shock, Capitao had enough left in the tank to kick out. However Capitao did not look to have a lot of fight left , as the former three time champs lined up to nail the LEA member with the Last Hunt but Capitao managed to slip out of the way causing a collision between Fox and Cougar. Capitao then managed to move out of the way of a Cougar Pounce from Masked Cougar, before taking Fox Mask out with a basement drop-kick. With Animal Magic both down, Capitao then finally managed to get Mitico back into the match. Mitico then cleaned house, with a series of suplexes on both members of Animal Magic, finishing the sequence with a Quicksilver Suplex on Masked Cougar only for Fox Mask to just about recover from the German suplex he was on the receiving end of a few moments ago to make the save. Mitico then clotheslined Fox Mask out of the ring , only for Cougar to recover and stagger Mitico with a clothesline of his own......Cougar then headed up top only for Mitico to cut him off and then send Cougar back into the ring with a superplex...however Cougar managed to counter that into cross-body.....Mitico then rolled through, only for Cougar to roll through and grab the tights on a small package....... Cougar almost stole the belts back right there but Capitao dived in to make the save.....Fox Mask was now back in and it basically broke down into a Pier 6, then amongst the chaos Cougar then took Capitao out with a Cougar Pounce only for Mitico to make the save and then drill Cougar into the canvas with the Mitico Driver and just as that looked to have the match won for the Sons of Lucha Libre, Fox Mask nailed Mitico with the Fox Hunter....... One..... Two.... Thr...... Fox Mask thought he had the match won, only for Capitao to come out of nowehere and break up the pin with the Samba Roll (Rolling Senton).... Capitao now looked to have a second wind and he headed up top, but Cougar was back up and was able to cut Capitao off on the top-rope.....soon they were joined by Fox Mask and Capitao suddenly found himself in a precarious predicament with Animal Magic setting up for the assisted Fox Flip Off DDT but before they could send Capitao crashing back into the ring, Mitico was back up and he was able to get underneath, to Powerbomb Cougar from the top-rope...meanwhile Capitao then managed to block the Fox Flip Off DDT and then shove Fox Mask to the mat, where he stumbled into the clutches of Mitico....Capitao then came off the top-rope with a drop-kick...the momentum of which helped Mitico dump Fox Mask with a German Suplex into a bridging pin..... One.... Two.... Thr...... Masked Cougar dived back into the make the save but was soon shoved back out of the ring, as The Sons of Lucha Libre set up for the Lucha Dreams with Mitico hoisting Fox Mask onto his shoulders in the Electric Chair position. Capitao then springboarded in, sending Fox Mask crashing back down to the mat with a rana off his partners shoulders.... Mitico then made the cover as Capitao stood guard..... One.... Two..... Three !!! Fox Mask couldn't find a way past Capitao to make the save, ensuring a succesful title defence for the Sons of Lucha Libre. A pretty good match between the two best Tag Teams in FCW (discounting The Brothers Phoenix) though they have had better matches against one another in the past. Queen tried bravely to go toe to toe with Daniels only to come out on the losing end of their exchanges, Bill E Stone wanted no part of the Affliction Trinity man and Austin Smooth looked to 'team up' with Daniels. For a while Daniels agreed to Smooth's plan, but when Smooth placed Queen in the Smooth Hold, all he got was a knee to the face for his trouble, before being tossed across the ring with a Human Roulette. Bill E Stone then entered the ring clubbing the dominant Daniels from behind and then setting up for the Stone Cutter made famous by his 'cousin' Jeremy Stone but Daniels was able to block that, drill the Kentucky Stone with a roaring elbow and then drill the hapless 'Stone family' member into the mat with the Raise The Stakes (Cradle Piledriver) to pick up the far from unexpected victory. Fire Fly made the save and then the LEA clicked back into unison, taking me down with a double arm-drag and then sending me back out of the ring with stereo drop-kicks. Angle then tried to nail Fire Fly with a surprise roundhouse kick but the ultra quick high flyer was able to duck under and then using the momentum of coming off the ropes went for a tilt-a-whirl headscissors only for Angel to block the move and plant Fire Fly face first into the mat with a front suplex. With Fire Fly down Angel then went for a quebrada , before going for the pin on his own stable mate, but it mattered little as I dove back in to make the save. I then drop-kicked Angel out of the ring before turning my attention to Fire Fly and planting diminutive champion with a belly to back suplex for a two count before heading up top but Angel was back in and he was able to nail me with a running drop-kick into the corner before climbing up to the top turnbuckle himself to bring me crashing back into the ring with a rana. However as Angel made the pin, Fire Fly broke it up with a beautiful standing shooting star press. Fire Fly then stole in to make the cover on myself. After I was able to kick out, we all staggered back up to our feet but it was Fire Fly who would take control of the match once again, snapping of a series of head-scissor take-downs on both myself and his stable mate Angel De Mexico. One of which lead to Fire Fly having me in the Infest Hazard, only for Angel to break it up..... Fire Fly and Angel then went at it, this time exchanging strikes , until Fire Fly was able to send Angel out of the ring with a spinning head-scissors. Fire Fly then steadied himself before wiping out both myself and Angel with a springboard senton. However the spectacular yet incredibly high risk move also saw Fire Fly do some damage to himself and referee Michael 'No BS' Bull almost counted everyone out until Fire Fly gingerly rolled me back into the ring for a quick cover. I was able to kick out but remain rooted to the mat and Fire Fly headed up top but took too long doing so, allowing me to recover and then send the ultra quick champion crashing back into the ring with superplex. After a weak cover I then appeared to be setting Fire Fly up for the C.R Driver only for Angel to reannounce his arrival back into the match with a springboard leg lariat. Angel then planted me into the mat with an ACAPULCO TWIST (Corkscrew Neckbreaker) but in a strange turn of events then ordered Fire Fly to head up top. Fire Fly didn't know what to make out of it, but then some words from Angel seem to convince Fire Fly to follow his leaders orders. Fire Fly then came crashing down my already prone form with the always spectacular SKY HIGH FIRE FLY (Shooting Star Senton)....... One...... Two..... Thr...... Angel breaks up the pin with a vicious Running Punt to Fire Fly's head. It seems as though Angel wasn't handing the win to Fire Fly on a platter after all. The LEA leader then steals in to make the cover on myself..... One..... Two..... Three !! And with that Angel De Mexico becomes a two time People's Champion but at the same time see's may fans turn on him for the sneaky and underhanded way he went about regaining the title for the first time in five years. In fact the first few minutes of the match basically see's Joseph continually target Power's obvious weakness, but the patriotic hero is somehow able to not only survive but also begin to take control. Call it sheer will power, or perhaps the fact that Power has the clear strength advantage over Joseph but he is simply able to muscle his way back into the match. A scoop Powerslam brings a two count for Power, but he is slow to make the cover before lifting Joseph up for a power bomb but that proves to be a mistake as his legs give way and Joseph is able to reverse into a victory roll for a two count. Then as Power gets back to his feet Joseph take his legs out with a basement drop-kick before applying a figure four leglock but despite the sheer agony he must have been in, Power managed to dig down and kick Joseph off before the Mainstream Nation member could lock the hold on too tightly. Power then managed to fight off Joseph by rising up from one knee, and with the momentum swinging in Power's favour he caught Joseph with a roaring elbow before applying the ATOMIC FULL NELSON on the Mainstream Nation member. Power has it locked on tight and despite refusing to tap, Dewey Libertine called for the bell as he could see that Joseph would be unable to escape from the hold without literally passing out. Power did a great job of selling his 'injuries' from the title match and post match beatdown from En Viaje and the crowd seem to lap up the story of their patriotic hero overcoming the odds. Result: Puerto Rican Power defeated Joseph in 6:42 by submission with an Atomic Full Nelson. Rating: C ____________________________________________________ Match #6: Jared Johnson vs Nicky R!ot vs It was to no one's surprise that Nicky R!ot got an early jump on Double J by laying into the Team FREEDOM man before the bell had even rung, leading to R!ot getting an early two count off a vertical suplex. With R!ot dominating the beginning of the match he then strutted around the ring before taunting Johnson to get back to his feet. Double J did but then got taken down with a clothesline for another two count. More strutting and taunting followed before R!ot looked to put the Carolina born youngster attack with the 'Charles Peterson' but Johnson was playing possum and suddenly took R!ot by surprise with an inside cradle. R!ot kicked out but then got his face planted into the mat with the Tar Heel Stomp ! before Johnson applied the Carolina Crossface. But R!ot was too near the ropes and Johnson was forced to release the hold. R!ot then tried to get in a cheap shot on the rope break but Double J was ready for it and instead tagged R!ot with an Enziguri, before planting the Affliction Trinity into the mat with a running bulldog. That lead to Double J heading up top only for R!ot to recover and cut him off but Johnson managed to shove R!ot off from the top-rope and then drill R!ot with a missile drop-kick before nipping back up to his feet. R!ot then staggered back up to his feet only to eat a charging fore-arm from Double J. The Carolina born youngster then planted R!ot into the mat with a Tilt-A-Whirl Legsweep for a close two count, before once again applying the Carolina Crossface. But just as with last time R!ot managed to fight his way over to the ropes and force the rope-break this time R!ot did manage to turn things back in his favor by drilling Double J with a fore-arm smash, before planting Johnson onto the mat with a basic suplex for a two count. R!ot then lifted Johnson back and then tried to nail the Team FREEDOM man with the Sub Pop Bop but Double J was able to duck and then nail R!ot with a drop-kick that sent the Affliction Trinity man out of the ring with a drop-kick before wiping out R!ot with a slingshot crossbody. Johnson then pitched a dazed R!ot back into the ring before deciding to head up top.....but as he did R!ot reached down into his trunks and produced some brass knucks. Then as Johnson launched himself in off the top rope, R!ot staggered back to his feet and then nailed Double J with a single punch to the stomach, that sent the Team FREEDOM man doubling over in a heap. After discarding of the evidence, R!ot then made the somewhat academic cover to a chorus of boos from the fans, with one particular fan (a regular who is a Jared Johnson fanatic) really letting Nicky R!ot just what he thought about the outcome of that match, as the Affliction Trinity man smugly walked back up the ramp. It was all about these two teams who had been feuding with another since the end of last year laying into each other with unrestrained abandonment. Despite all that the random brawling that took place during the match was largely inconsequential as it lead up to the finish. As the match entered it's closing stages Primus had K-Zing propped up against a table and the powerhouse came charging in with a spear only for K- Zing to move out of the way. K-Zing then made the cover only for Matt Hocking to make the save with a diving elbow drop. B-Pev then entered the ring and became a two on one but Hocking ducked a double clothesline and sent both of them out with a double drop-kick before climbing up top and wiping them both out with a flying cross body. Hocking then dragged B-Pev back into the ring and dropped the No! Dance2Win man with the Shock Drop II (Front Flip Neckbreaker) but as he went for the cover he was pulled out of the ring by Xavi Ferrara ! The FCW newcomer then creamed Hocking with a vicious chair shot before rolling Hocking back into the ring. Despite being part of a faction the rest of Batch Enterprise Inc. were waved to to the back, with Speed clearly giving instructions that he wanted to prove he was the better man than Billy Russell and should he beat the former MMA star Russell would have no excuses. Speed is aggressive from the start charging into Russell with a fore-arm smash and then following up by whipping Russell into the corner and charging in with a leaping fore-arm. It's an an aggressive opening by Speed and perhaps catches Russell a little off guard. Russell the staggers out of the corner and the former MMA star in planted into the mat with an STO for a two count. Speed then tried to turn Russell over for the Deadly Heel Hook only to get kicked off, Speed then tried to nail Russell with the Speed Strike (Running Knee) only for Russell to catch Speed's leg and then place it into a Knee Bar but Speed was able to fight him off with elbow shots..... Both get back to their feet and it is Speed who scores first with a stiff elbow shot, the Batch Enterprises man then tries to get Russell set up for the Speed Snap but Russell slips out and the former MMA star gets a double leg takedown before attempting to turn Speed over into his own Deadly Heel Hook but Speed knows the move inside out and manages to kick Russell off. Speed then came charging at Russell but got taken down to the mat with an armbar take-down before the former MMA star transitioned into the Twisting Arm Lock but Speed was too near the ropes and he was able to force the rope break. Russell then got distracted by Carl Batch who then got up on the apron, until the motor mouthed manager was ordered to step down by Dewey Libertine but the distraction was enough for Speed to chop block Russell from behind and then turn the former MMA man over the Deady Heel Hook. Russell tried to turn onto his back to kick Speed off but the former People's Champion held steady this time and kept the hold submission locked on. However just as it looked like Russell was about to tap out, he managed to dig down and force his way over to the ropes much to the frustration of Speed and Batch who was having kittens on the outside. Speed then tried to cheap shot Russell on the rope break but Russell saw it coming, side stepped out of the way and then took Speed off his feet with a leg-sweep.....Russell then waited for Speed to stagger back up before the former MMA star tackled Speed down to the mat and began to unleash a Grounded Knee Flurry. But Speed then managed to grab one of the knees and then attempted to get Russell turned over for the Deadly Heel Hook once more....only for Russell to suddenly counter into a small package........ One.... Two..... Speed then turned it over into a pin attempt of his own...... One..... Two......... Another reversal, but this time it looks like both sets of shoulders are down on the canvas...... One...... Two..... Three !! Confusion all around on who actually got the winning pin..... Dewey Libertine says that the match is a draw due to both competitors shoulders being down on the mat. It's a result that satisfies no one, with Russell and Speed still unable to settle a winner between themselves. Obviously not as good as their last match, this was basically a filler installment to help stretch their feud out a little longer. Result: Billy Russell drew with Speed Machine in 10:31 following a double pin. Rating: C ___________________________________________________ A video package is then shown to hype the main event between the Mainstream Nation duo of Mainstream Hernandez and the Undisputed Champion Apathy against The Brothers Phoenix. Negra and Hernandez kicked things off, with Negra coming out on top of a series exchanges before tagging in his partner, more of the same follows until Hernandez is able to stop Phoenix in his tracks with an eye rake and then scrambles back to his corner to tag in Apathy. Apathy takes down Phoenix with a clothesline and then lifts the popular masked man up for what looks to be a Death Valley Driver only for Phoenix to counter that into a swinging DDT. With Apathy spiked into the mat Phoenix then decided to follow up with a quebrada but that proved to be an error of judgement as Hernandez shook the top-rope causing Phoenix to lose his balance. Hernandez then tagged back in and put the boots to Phoenix before dragging him back to the Mainstream Nation corner, where they then preceded to work over the former two time Undisputed Champion. Hernandez being a master manipulator managed to goad Negra into the ring to try and 'help' his partner on several occasions but Negra's protestations achieved was being able to distract Michael Bull so that the Mainstream Nation could bring illegal tactics into play, such as Mainstream Hernandez attempting to choke Phoenix out with a chain. That actually lead to the Mainstreamer synching in the Love Me Now ! but Negra was able to break through and make the save before being pitched out of the ring by Apathy. Apathy then scooped Phoenix up and planted him to the mat with a bodyslam before Hernandez head up top, at which poin the Mainstream Nation leader felt the urge to remind the FCW fans in attendance that the 'Revolution cannot be stopped !' before launching himself off with the Apparition #14 (Moonsault Leg drop) but his arrogant taunting of the fans cost him as he crashed and burned with Phoenix moving out of the way at the last split second. However Hernandez was still able to get the tag into Apathy before Phoenix could tag out. Apathy then lifted Phoenix up into a vertical suplex but the popular masked man reversed the momentum into a stunner before slumping to the mat and crawling across to get the tag into Negra. But just as it looked like he would make that tag Apathy managed to pull him back but using his free leg Phoenix managed to connect with an Enziguri that was able to stun Apathy enough to cause the seperation needed to Phoenix to finally get Negra tagged back into the match. Negra then wiped out Apathy with a springboard fore-arm smash, before using the momentum to knock Hernandez off the apron with a running drop-kick....Negra then hopped up onto the top turnbuckle and took Apathy down with a missile drop-kick, That earned Negra a two count who then tried to get Apathy up for a Brainbuster but the Undisputed Champion was able to block and take Negra over with a basic snap suplex..... Negra managed to kick out of the subsquent cover before Apathy pulled Negra back to his feet only for Negra to slip out of an attempted mood swing and stun Apathy with a spin kick. That staggered Apathy enough for Negra to tag a recovered Phoenix back in and the pair went for a high low (leg-sweep/roundhouse combo) but Apathy was able to move out of the way at the last split second and the former tag Champs collided with each other, before following up with a double clothesline. Negra then got pitched out of the ring before Apathy turned his attention back to Phoenix who staggered right into a release overhead belly to belly suplex...... Phoenix somehow managed to use the momentum to flip himself back onto his feet but then got instantly wiped out with a vicious running clothesline from the Undisputed Champion..... One..... Two..... Thr...... Negra dived back in to make the save but then got dragged out of the ring by Mainstream Hernandez and those two proceeded to do battle on the outside as Apathy looked to finish Phoenix off in the middle of the ring. Apathy then set up once more for the Mood Swing but once again Phoenix had it scouted and countered with a Dragon Screw Leg-Whip....at that point Phoenix looked to tag Negra back into the match but Negra was nowhere to be seen as he was still occupied with brawling with Mainstream Hernandez out on the floor. Realising that his partner was nowhere to be seen Phoenix then decided to head up top but too much time had elapsed for him to deliver the Phoenix Firebird Splash and Apathy was back to his feet. However Phoenix managed to fight Apathy off with a series of back elbows before launching himself off the top-rope to spike the Undisputed Champion into the cancas with a Tornado DDT..... One.... Two..... Apathy kicked out with authority, but Phoenix kept the pressure on with a kick combination that had Apathy in position for the FLAMING DRIVER ! Phoenix nailed it....... One...... Two..... Thr...... Just as it looked like Phoenix had the match won there and then, Mainstream Hernandez made the save. The Mainstreamer then planted Phoenix into the mat with the PONTIAC TO HOME ! (Reverse STO) but as he went for the cover he was reminded that he was not the legal man by Michael Bull. Hernandez then dragged Apathy across to his corner to get himself legally tagged in , however Negra who had been sent hard into the guard-rail moments earlier by the Mainstreamer was still nowhere to be seen as thus Phoenix was unable to tag out and found himself in grave danger. The Mainstreamer then stalked Phoenix beforre spiking arguably the most decorated competitor in FCW history into the mat with a DDT and then transitioning it into his devastating LOVE ME NOW ! (Guillotine Choke) submission....... But just as it looked like Phoenix was ready to tap out, Negra rolled back into the ring just in time to break up the submission with a kick to the head before drilling the Mainstreamer into the canvas with a brainbuster. Of course Negra was not the legal man and it became a race to see who would be able to make the hot tag first between Hernandez and Phoenix. It was Hernandez who managed to make the tag first but then just a split second later Phoenix was able to tag in Negra, who was able to avoid a running clothesline from Apathy and then sprang off the ropes to nail the Undisputed Champion with a springboard roundhouse kick. That only seemed to stun Apathy though, but a fired up Negra remained undettered and he was able to send Apathy crashing to the mat with a leg-sweep before heading up top to come crashing down upon the Undisputed Champion with the PHOENIX FIREBIRD SPLASH One..... Two...... Three !! The Brothers Phoenix had emerged victorious but perhaps most notably of all Phoenix Negra had just scored a clean pin over the current Undisputed Champion. Result: The Brothers Phoenix defeated Mainstream Hernandez and Apathy in 18:52 when Phoenix Negra defeated Apathy by pinfall. Rating: B- The show ends with the Brothers Phoenix standing tall in the middle of the ring, with a defeated Mainstream Nation licking their wounds as they head back up the entrance ramp in dejection. Phoenix Negra then does the universal motioning of an imaginary belt round his waist, only for Ultimate Phoenix to do the same. Noticing that they both want a shot at the Undisputed Championship it all ends in a tense stare-down between the two 'brothers'. Rating: B- _______________________________________________________ Overall: C To be honest what I expected when I put this card together, this was basically a place holder show designed to help some build with the storylines and feuds that are going to be in place for the forseeable future in FCW.

__________________________________________________ Predictions Analysis The always tricky to call draw caught most people off guard, though James Casey and Marcel Fromage to their credit did predict that those two still wouldn't be able to find a winner between themselves, Markish did mention that he was contemplating going for the draw in that one, but thinking about it doesn't count in the end. If Smurphy1014 had predicted the draw in that match he would got a perfect score, some turn around from predicting Los Beetoolz actually being able to win a match last month. Talking of Los Beetoolz I was surprised to see some people predict Lennon McHarrison to win the pre-show match, Xavi may be a rookie but he was against the joint lowest ranked member of the FCW roster along side his tag partner. Most predictors, correctly predicted that The Brothers Phoenix would win the main event and that The Sons of Lucha Libre would make a succesful defence of their Tag Titles but Angel De Mexico winning the People's Championship caught most of you off guard

March in Review This month's show wasn't as well received as we would have hoped for, it was an interesting show but the main event whilst good wasn't staggeringly good and the semi main was a bit disappointing though I'll take some of the blame there for booking it with a slightly screwy finish, in that case it probably should have booked lower down the card. Next month we need to step it up if we have any chance of making the sort of process Senor Lopez demands of us. On the positive note we almost made back what we lost last month, however with the plan to run two shows next month we will only go and lose it back again. It's become a repetitive cycle and I personally think in order to grow and expand from beyond the Island Senor Lopez needs to find some investment from elsewhere but knowing Senor Lopez all these years I know that giving up control of his company to someone else would hurt his pride and his ego. A generally quiet month of contract negotiations this month with road agent Duncan Kendall and resident interviewer Katie Cameron both putting pen to paper on new deals. _____________________________________________________________ Rival Promotion Watch CZCW's Uprising event was a good show (B-) that saw Ultimate Phoenix once again get the better of Mick Muscles in the main event (B+), the semi main event a three way that saw Fox Mask defeat Atlas and Midnight Prowler (C+) was also pretty good. MAW put on a stellar effort with their Game On event this month (C+) with JD Morgan making a succesful defence of the Mid Atlantic Championship against Shady K (B-). However match of the night was hidden in the middle of the show with Jay Chord defeating Edd Stone (B+). This perhaps has more to do with the fact that Chord is becoming an internationally known wrestling star both in the U.S and in Japan. NYCW put on their best show in months with their Epic Event show (C+), a generally solid all round card was rounded off by the best Empire Title defence in some time with Edd Stone defeating Shady K in a pretty good match (C+) A solid title match between JD Morgan and Knuckles (yeah again !- match rated C) wasn't enough to save PSW's Desolation show from being relatively poorly received (D+) due a poor undercard that included a terrible semi main event between Jim Force and Richie Riggins (E+). RIPW's Cliffhanger event was their better efforts in recent months (C-) with Avalanche making a solid title defence against Ekuma (C). We need to up our game next month as CZCW, MAW and even NYCW all put on better shows than us this month. Personally I thought our show with a stronger pair of main events was the better show but I suppose ther wrestling critics were blinded by the fact that NYCW managed to put on a pretty decent show this month. That complaint aside Traicon was by all accounts not one of best shows. Frankie 'White Angel' Dee and Crockett 'Robbie McNamara' Tubbs are both released by NOTBPW. Evil Spirit fails to agree a new contract with SAISHO. USPW decide against renewing the contract of Atlas. Injuries PGHW's Julian Watson will be out of action for a whole year after suffering a torn rotator cuff Worker Retirements Nate Johnson has decided to hang up the wrestling boots at the relatively young age of 37 and the fact he has not been suffering with any noticeable injuries it comes as even more of a surprise. Johnson first found success alongside Bobby Thomas as one half of The Specialists Tag Team in CGC, with the team capturing the CGC Tag Team Titles on five separate occasions with their final reign being two years of complete dominance. When that reign came to an end Johnson and Thomas both decided to fly solo and to some people's surprise they proved they could be a success in singles as well as a Tag Team. Johnson captured the CGC Canadian Championship and also found success in 4C before it's financial collapse by capturing their main title. In the autumn of 2012 Nate Johnson decided to move on to NOTBPW but with a more loaded roster he struggled to move out of the midcard and failed to find the same success as he did in CGC. Last year he was re-united with Bobby Thomas to reform The Specialists but even then that did not see him get a run with NOTBW's Tag Team Titles and perhaps it is this lack of a push in NOTBPW and feeling he has done all he can in CGC that has prompted Nate Johnson to call time on his wrestling career. Mexican veteran Rafael Ruiz called time on his in-ring career at the Age of 46. One of the more larger competitors on the Lucha Libre scene, Ruiz ground and pound style of wrestling provided a unique contrast amongst the swathes of flying masked men. Best known for his time in the OLLIE promotion, Ruiz was a two time Campeon de Mexico and also had runs with the Campeones de Parejas (along side Swarm I) and the Campeones de Trios (with former rivals turned allies SWARM I and Phoenix III). Ruiz was also a part of the initial MHW roster and he was their inaugral Campeon de Nacional. With his career starting to wind down Ruiz became a regular on the Mexican exhibition show circuit over the past few years, with the 'name' promotions in Mexico no longer taking an interest in using him. Australian veteran Big Daddy Horne has decided to call it a day at the Age of 47. Horne is best known for his time with the now defunct APW promotion where he was able to capture their top belt the Commonwealth Title on one occasion. Title Changes Vampella defeated Vixxen to take claim of the vacant BSC Queen of the Ring Title. Eagle Kawasawa defeated Venom for the vacant Burning Junior Championship, after BHOTWG failed to come to agreement over the previous champion Insane Machine returning to the promotion for their spring tour (it is always baffling when a promotion like BHOTWG puts one of their belts on a touring wrestler at the end of a tour, knowing full well this kind of situation can happen). However Kawasawa's short reign was a complete flop and he dropped the title to Sensational Dragon (who begins his fifth reign) at the end of the month. Mohamed El Yaagoudi defeated Everest for the BHOTWG Televsion Title. Harley Neill and Jonathan Faust finally brought to an end the 26 month long MOSC UK Tag team Title reign of Kevin Jones and Jeffrey McPeterson. Electrico became the first two time Campeon del Mundo in MHW when he brought to an end the 17 month long reign of Marcos Flores. Luchador Original and Slayyer brought to and end the 16 month long Campeones de Parejas reign of El Mitico Jr and El Hijo Espada Roja in MPWF. Buddy Garner defeated Akinori Kwakami to become a three time Historical Japan Champion in PGHW. Current Glory Crown Champion Eisaku Kunomasu repeated as the Elite Series Winner. Kunomasu defeated Noriyori Sanda, surprise semi finalist Morimasa Kato and then Mito Miwa in the finals to take claim of the trophy for a second time. Miwa defeated Akinori Kwakami and then overcame the monsterous Raymond Diaz in the semi finals before falling to Kunomasu in the finals. Rounding out this years field were Tsuruyaki Kamachi and Chojiro Kitoaji. Apart from the two finalists this years tournament was criticized in the Japanese media for not having enough big names and that it was far from being an 'Elite' Series this year. Soda De La Uva Jr defeated Amazing Fire Fly to become the Campeon de Menor in SOTBPW for the first time. Fumihiro Ota reclaimed the TCW All Action Title from Steven Parker to win the title for the 11th time ! Katherline Goodlooks reign as the USPW Intercontinetal Champion didn't last long as she dropped the title in her first defence to Lenny Brown.

Delorean Driver.Com FCW- An Island of Gangs Ever since it's inception FCW has always had it's fair share of stables, especially on the heel side of the fence, with the first notables being the Messiah's Circus the sort of spiritual successors to the Mainstream Nation. But these days it seems that even the babyfaces are sticking together to form their own factions, something that started with the formation of FREEDOM-5 in their battle against Devine Right. Anyway here is a guide to who is currently fighting alongside who on the Island..... Mainstream Nation Leader: Mainstream Hernandez Other Members: Apathy (Undisputed Champion), Soul Krusher, Fox Mask, Masked Cougar, Joseph, Alyssa Viperini The top Rudo faction in FCW, lead by the most despised man in FCW Mainstream Hernandez who claims that the Mainstream Nation is not just a faction but a revolution. Hernandez and his band of followers apparently seem intent on ridding FCW of it's false idols and promoting their own self loathing philosophy on the world in general and the fans hate them for it, especially Mainstream Hernandez who they see as an emo crybaby. And much to the fans annoyance they do hold the top championship in FCW the Undisputed Championship but it is not their leader who holds the 'twin belts' but the eerie acolyte Apathy. Many fans know who is behind the creepy mask but are still wondering why he has chosen to follow Mainstream Hernandez. As most of Hernandez followers are those who joined in his cause in a weakened state, Soul Krusher was left on the scrap heap following the demise of the Messiah's Circus, Joseph had been fired from FCW after losing a Do or Die match after years to toiling in the lower card without any great deal of success, Animal Magic had become frustrated in their efforts to win back the Tag Team Titles and Alyssa Viperini (formerly Lisa Bowen) had become directionless after Devine Right imploded. Guerrero's del Amor Members: Puerto Rican Power, Ultimate Phoenix, Phoenix Negra, Boriken Love Machine Jr, Sara Silver The newest faction in FCW, and considering the fact that three of the four are amongst the most decorated men in FCW history probably now the top babyface faction in the promotion. All four men had a lose alliance of sorts heading back to last year, due to the fact that they've all had problems with the Mainstream Nation but the new FCW Commisioner just made their alliance official by naming them as their four men she wanted to lead her war to rid FCW of the Mainstream Nation and to 'save' her former boyfriend James Hernandez. However one has to wonder if Puerto Rican Power and the Brothers Phoenix can co-exist and stick to the cause, because these are three fierce competitors who clearly still have their eye on the main prize in FCW the Undisputed Championship. Should one of them wrestle the twin belts away from Apathy, they would become the true in-ring leader of the faction, should that be say Ultimate Phoenix, would Phoenix Negra and/or Puerto Rican Power be prepared to play second and third fiddle ? Lucha Equity Alliance Leader: Angel De Mexico (People's Championship) Other Members: El Mitico Jr (Tag Team Champion), Capitao Brasil Jr (Tag Team Champion), Amazing Fire Fly On paper the most succesful faction in FCW right now, as they hold two of the three championships in FCW right now. But all is far from rosy amongst the Luchadore faction right now, as their leader Angel De Mexico had clearly become jealous of thei rest of the faction's growing success, whilst he himself was struggling for form. It all came to a head at the Traicon show when Angel De Mexico pretty much screwed Amazing Fire Fly out of the People's Championship, so that he could win the title in a three way match that also included Charles Rainier. Fire Fly made his displeasure known after the match and it took the Sons of Lucha Libre to play peacekeepers and come between the pair after the match. The Son's themselves finally captured the Tag Team Championships towards the end of last year, after being the nearly men of the Tag Division for so long and after seeing off the challenge of the Affliction Trinity they have cemented themselves as the team to beat in FCW at this moment in time. Team FREEDOM Leader: Charles Rainier Other Members: Jared Johnson, Primus, Matt Hocking Formed from the demise of the FREEDOM-5 and Devine Right factions, Team FREEDOM are a band of underdog/underachieving babyfaces who all had their big break in the wrestling business in FCW. They were pretty much bullied into defeat, in a brief feud with the Affliction Trinity and they have struggled to rise up the ranks since. Charles Rainier has had a couple of unsuccesful shots at the People's Championship, the pairing now known as Primal Shock have been bogged down in a feud with No! Dance2Win, whilst Jared Johnson recently renewed rivarlies with Afflition Trinity member Nicky R!ot. Batch Enterprises Inc. Leader: Carl Batch Other Members: Speed Machine, K-Zing, B-Pev, Xavi Ferrera Motor mouthed manager Carl Batch is no stranger to leading factions in FCW, having previously lead the Kings of the Street and Wave of Violence, so it was no suprise to see him once again try and lead a new band of followers into battle on his return to FCW, after a year long abscence following the complete demise of W.O.V. Batch's latest enterprise appears to be centred round leading those he considers to be future stars in the wrestling business right to the top by any means necessary. His first client was the former People's Champion Speed Machine, and the formerly fun loving/disco dancing duo of No! Dance2Win soon followed suit, after a losing streak resulted in a change of attitude. The latest recruit is the ultra arrogant young rookie Xavi Ferrera, who helped N!D2W to victory in their latest match in their running battle with the Team FREEDOM duo of Primal Shock Affliciton Trinity Members: Dean Daniels, Nicky R!ot Despite only being three members strong the Affliction Trinity looked to be one of the strongest groups in FCW history. After bullying Team FREEDOM into defeat, the duo of Dean Daniels and Bulldozer Brandon Smith then went on to capture the FCW Tag Team Titles. However after Daniels and BBS lost the Tag Titles to the Sons of Lucha Libre, the factions momentum seems to have hit the skids. BBS decided to leave FCW to concentrate on making it in Japan and Daniels and R!ot failed to regain the Tag Team Titles. Daniels himself will be staying out in Japan next month and it will be interesting to see on his return, whether or not the Affliction Trinity can regroup and get back on track ? Los Beetoolz Members: Gringo Starr, Lennon McHarrison More a tag team than a faction really, but the pair of hapless Beatles impersonators do seem to be sticking together, through good and bad. Mostly bad because apart from an upset victory over the team then known as Dance2Win they have basically been the resident whipping boys of FCW, since their arrival on the Island.

TK, couple questions for you about your roster assessment thing on Page 97 1. How do you know where they are from/billed from, do you just make it up, or is there somewhere to find out. 2. The Finishers, alot are in WreSpi2, but some aren't, how do you find these out. 3. Weight and Height, how do you know these, again, just make it up or is there somewhere to find out ? Still Though, Awesome Job on the diary, I wish I could keep one going this long :)
TK, couple questions for you about your roster assessment thing on Page 97 1. How do you know where they are from/billed from, do you just make it up, or is there somewhere to find out. Basically I make it up but some profiles such as Jared Johnson's do kind of mention where they are from. I've also tried to use some logic for some of that, such as Animal Magic (Fox Mask and Masked Cougar) are both from the west coast of America as they got their break in CZCW. 2. The Finishers, alot are in WreSpi2, but some aren't, how do you find these out. Some are the default finishers, some aren't.. alot of the time I give characters a move to suit the gimmick I originally gave them when coming into FCW. For instance Dean Daniels finisher which is the Cradle Piledriver was renamed Raise The Stakes because at the time he had a gambler ginmmick and went by the name of Dino Bravo, he dropped that gimick a long time ago but the name of finisher stayed the same. On the other hand Marc Speed's finisher all had names linked to the fact that he was in the Wave of Violence stable but since he re-emerged with the Speed Machine gimmick the names of his finishers changed with him. 3. Weight and Height, how do you know these, again, just make it up or is there somewhere to find out ? Once again, I use my imagination but there is somewhere in the game notes, a section that does outline the basic weight range for each worker. Still Though, Awesome Job on the diary, I wish I could keep one going this long :)
And thanks for the compliments :) I think I've managed to keep it going for so long, because ultimately I enjoy doing a diary. Personally I enjoy the game more by doing a diary. Sad as it may sound, there are times I go to bed at night thinking/dreaming about FCW ! :D Up next will be the latest En Viaje show, which will no doubt be a major money spinner
