[B]Lawler:[/B] Yeah, we’ve got two great second round matches between Triple H and the Light Heavyweight Champion Great Sasuke aswell as the Intercontinental Champion Kurt Angle against X-Pac. [B] Ross:[/B] We also have a huge main event. Undertaker teams with the WWF Champion ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin to face his nemesis Mankind and the No.1 contender to the title Sid Vicious. [B] Lawler:[/B] That’s just gonna be a car crash waiting to happen, JR. [B]Ross:[/B] First up though we have the c**ky young team of Edge and Christian is action against the experienced Headbangers. They work very well as a team and know exactly how to work an opponent down. Edge and Christian get the win after Christian hit’s the unprettier on Mosh. [B]Ross:[/B] Didn’t work? He seemed pretty scared to me. [B]Mankind: [/B]So, Undertaker, why don’t you come down to the rind and we’ll settle this properly. [I][CENTER]Crowd pop as they await the arrival of The Undertaker.[/CENTER][/I] [B]Mankind:[/B] Come on ‘Deadman’, get your ass out from the back. [CENTER][IMG]http://img229.imageshack.us/img229/4923/theundertaker1998fl5.jpg[/IMG] [I]The lights go out and The Undertaker appears in the ring as Mankind looks on in horror. Taker starts to unload with rights and lefts on Mankind but two massive figures come running out of the crowd, both wearing masks and they enter the ring. Undertaker turns round and is met by a huge double chokeslam. The two take off their masks to reveal the tag team champions, Bam Bam Bigelow and Vader. They help Mankind up and the three taunt Undertaker in the ring.[/I] [/CENTER] [B]Mankind:[/B] You just got played Undertaker, I just beat you at your own game. You better watch yourself because I have much more in store for you at King of the Ring. Bigelow and Vader came to me the other day and told me they want to help rid the WWF of The Undertaker, as you can see I jumped at the opportunity. The weeks leading up to the hell in a cell match are going to be hell for you. Good luck, Undertaker. [IMG]http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/189/kanemask1998vn6.jpg[/IMG]vs.[IMG]http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/7189/goldustud3.jpg[/IMG] Kane comes out looking very intense as he just scouts Goldust all the way to the ring. Goldust looks scared, but is the first one to try anything as he started to punch Kane in the face. Kane doesn’t even flinch and he throws Goldust into the corner. He dominates for a bit hitting some big power moves before hoisting Goldust up and chokeslamming him down to the mat. He then covers him for the pin. [B] Winner:[/B] Kane [B]Match Rating:[/B] C- [I][CENTER]After the match Kane continues the assault on Goldust mostly using the steel steps to destroy him. After a disturbing tombstone on the steel steps, Kane heads to the back laughing to himself while the medic team run down to help Goldust, who’s bleeding profusely. Heavy Metal tries to take The Rock out with aerial moves early on, but they backfire and The Rock gets on top. After some offence from both men The Rock puts Heavy Metal away with a rock bottom. [B] Winner:[/B] The Rock [B]Match Rating:[/B] D+ [I][CENTER]After the match The Rock calls for a mic.[/CENTER][/I] [B]The Rock:[/B] Finally The Rock has come back to Atlanta. Triple H get your candy ass out here, you and The Rock are gonna settle this. After a few seconds Triple H’s music hits and he comes out, mic in hand. He stands on the ramp obviously not wanting to get into a fight with The Rock.[/CENTER][/I] [B]Triple H:[/B] I thought I told you Rocky. I’m a little busy I’ve got a match next against the Great Sasuke for a place in the King of the Ring Semi Final. I can assure you Rocky, I’m not gonna lose that match. If you want me your gonna have to wait until after I am crowned King of the Ring. Then and only then, I will kick your ass. [B]The Rock:[/B] What did you just say? [B]Triple H:[/B] You hea… [B]The Rock:[/B] It doesn’t matter what you just said! The only thing that matters Triple H is that whenever we meet in this ring, I will layeth the smacketh down all over your candy ass. If you smell lalaa owww what The Rock is cookin’. [I][CENTER]Triple H and The Rock have an intense staredown as the camera cuts to commercial.[/CENTER][/I] [B]Ross:[/B] We could be looking at a terrific match between The Rock and Triple H, King. Whenever they meet in the ring it’s just gonna explode. [B] Lawler:[/B] I don’t think The Rock’s gonna be able to wait until Triple H is crowned King of the Ring though, JR. It could explode a lot sooner. [B]Ross:[/B] How do we know Triple H is gonna win King of the Ring? He’s still gotta face Great Sasuke and there is some fantastic wrestlers still in the competition. [B] Lawler:[/B] You heard it, JR. Triple H told us himself. He’s gonna be crowned King of the Ring and The Rock is just gonna have to wait. [B]Ross:[/B] Anyway, Triple H is in action next against Great Sasuke. He goes straight after the Light Heavyweight Champion as soon as he gets in the ring. After a while of brutal beating Triple H finally puts his opponent away with a pedigree. When I meet you in the ring I’ll do to you exactly what I did to Great Sasuke. [B]Ross:[/B] Good god. Triple H looked intense tonight. [B]Lawler:[/B] I told you, JR. He’s gonna win King of the Ring. [B]Ross:[/B] In that form, King, I can’t argue with you. It looks like we’re being joined by Vince McMahon and the No.1 Contender Sid Vicious. I can’t wait for Sid to demolish you at King of the Ring. Austin you’ve got no chance. [I][CENTER] The crowd pop as Austin appears on the titantron rummaging through draws belonging to the office of Vince McMahon.[/CENTER][/I] [B] Austin:[/B] Hello there Vince. Am just having a little look through your office. You left the door open Vince, I didn’t think you’d mind. [I][CENTER] Vince grows red with anger and looks set to explode.[/CENTER][/I] [B]Austin:[/B] Whoa, what do we have here? [I][CENTER]Austin holds up this months copy of Hustler to the camera’s. The crowd pop as Vince continues to grow redder with anger.[/CENTER][/I] [B]Austin:[/B] Naughty, naughty Vinny boy. What would your lovely wife say about all this? [B]Vince:[/B] Grrrrhh! Sid, don't just stand there! Get that son of a b***h! [I][CENTER]Sid gets out of the ring and jogs down the ramp into the back. The titantron cuts off and there’s about a minutes wait until Sid is thrown through the curtain and Austin comes of with a steel chair. The crowd pop again as Austin repeatedly smashes the chair over Sid. After about five vicious shots he heads down to the ring. After a few seconds Vince realizes Austin is coming for him and he quickly scrambles out of the ring and through the crowd. Austin gives chase as the camera’s cut back to JR and King.[/CENTER][/I] [B]Ross: [/B]Well that was entertaining, King. I hope Austin catches him and kicks his ass. [B]Lawler:[/B] You can’t talk about the boss like that, JR. [B]Ross:[/B] I’ll say whatever I like about that assh**e, Vince McMahon. Austin’s my friend dammit and he doesn’t deserve the abuse he’s getting from McMahon. [I][CENTER] Ross tries to calm down.[/CENTER][/I] [B]Ross:[/B] Next up we’ve got another second round match, the winner of which will meet Triple H in the semi final at King of the Ring. X-Pac versus Kurt Angle. It was very even right from the start with neither man getting the upper hand too often. Once Kurt Angle locked in the ankle lock though, X-Pac couldn’t handle the pain and tapped almost immediately. [B] Winner: [/B]Kurt Angle [B]Match Rating:[/B] C+ [I][CENTER]The camera cuts backstage where we see Austin still chasing Vince. Vince is heading for his limo, but Austin is gaining on him.[/CENTER][/I] [B]Austin:[/B] Get your scrawny little ass back here, Vince. [I][CENTER]Vince goes to open the limo door, but Austin catches him and pulls him off. Austin starts to hit his boss in the face before bouncing his head off the limo. He then takes it to another level as he smashes Vince head so hard onto the window that his head goes straight through. When Austin brings Vince’s head back up he looks to be wearing the famous crimson mask. Austin decides it’s enough, but doesn’t leave until he gives Vince the Stone Cold Salute and a stunner for good measure.[/CENTER][/I] [B]Ross: [/B]Good god, King. That was brutal. [B] Lawler:[/B] I hope he’s alright, JR. We need help in the back. Get some EMT’s down there. [B]Ross: [/B]I think we should leave the jackass for a bit. Austin taught him a brutal lesson right there. [I][CENTER]*Glass Shatters*[/CENTER][/I] [I][CENTER]Austin comes down to the ring ready for his match to a huge ovation. There obviously pleased to see Vince needing hospital treatment.[/CENTER][/I] [B]Austin: [/B]Let that be a lesson to anyone in that locker room. You mess with ‘The Rattlesnake’ and that’s what happens to you and that’s the bottom line coz ‘Stone Cold’ said so. Austin stuns Sid in the ring and gets the pin. [B]Winners: [/B]Steve Austin and The Undertaker [B]Match Rating:[/B] B [I][CENTER]After the match Undertaker enters the ring and Austin offers him a beer. Both men are attacked from behind by Mankind and Sid Vicious who are both wielding steel chairs. A four man brawl ensues with Sid and Mankind coming out on top as they bust they respected opponent with the steel. Both men stand over Taker and Austin in the ring as the crowd boos.
