I will be honest... due to the new corporate structure here at WCW and a two month hiatus you will be seeing me a lot here in WCW but I am not here to abuse my power. With all this in mind I am going to cut right to the chase... The last time Nitro was on the air Booker T won the WCW Championship from Scott Steiner. Scott Steiner has bombarded me with emails, phone calls and letters demanding a rematch. Although I feel Mr. Steiner deserves a rematch I feel it is only fair that I give other men who I feel deserve a WCW Title Match a shot. That is why tonight I have booked a Triple Threat Match to crown the Number 1 Contender for the World Championship Wrestling Heavyweight Title between Diamond Dallas Page, Scott Steiner and.... Second off... been waiting about two months to do this again... BANG! You see Gene I am glad to be back here in WCW. For a while there things were going downhill but now it seems like work is going to be fun again. All my old buddies are here like Bill Goldberg and Booker T and I hope to make some new buddies. Tonight however buddies aside I have a big Triple Threat match to win so that I can once again become the WCW Champion. I respect both Bill Goldberg and Scott Steiner and am so JACKED to get to wrestle them but tonight... THEY BETTER GET READY... TO FEEL.... DA... BANG!!!![/FONT][/LEFT] [LEFT][I][FONT=Arial Narrow]After a commercial break our first in-ring matchup is about to start![/FONT][/I][/LEFT] [FONT=Arial Black][SIZE=3][U]WCW Cruiserweight Title Match:[/U][/SIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Arial Black][SIZE=3][B]Sugar Shane Helms vs. Primetime Elix Skipper w/Major Gunns:[/B][/SIZE][/FONT] [U][B][FONT=Arial Black]Analysis:[/FONT][/B][/U] [FONT=Arial]Skipper and Helms were both cornerstones of WCW's Original Cruiserweight Division. Skipper has been lost in the shuffle recently due to Awesome and Storm overshadowing him in Team Canada... after a failed stint as WCW Cruiserweight Tag Team Champion Skipper seems primed for singles success. Shane Helms has been picking up momentum every week and has been the best Cruiserweight Champion WCW has had in a long time.[/FONT] [U][B][FONT=Arial Black]The Match:[/FONT][/B][/U] [FONT=Arial]Overall a pretty solid showcase of the Cruiserweight Division. Although the match was only 8 minutes long the fans seemed pretty impressed by both men. Skipper and Helms started things off slow by keeping it on the ground but that quickly changed. Skipper got to showcase a lot of his moves such as the Matrix Reversal and Rope Walk Rana. Skipper took over the match early on and used dirty tactics to stay on top of Helms. Major Gunns proved to be a major distraction at ringside often flirting with the referee and Helms to Skipper's advantage. Helms however (Against the odds) fought back and eventually hit his Vertabreaker finishing move to retain his WCW Cruiserweight Championship![/FONT] [I][FONT=Arial Narrow]After the match Lance Storm and Mike Awesome hit the ring and begin to beat down Shane Helms... until WCW World Tag Team Champions Sean O'Haire and Chuck Palumbo emerge from the back. O'Haire and Palumbo hit the ring and take out Skipper instantly with double Superkicks. O'Haire hits a Reverse DVD on Awesome while Palumbo takes out Storm with a Falcons Arrow. Team Canada regroup on the stage as Storm grabs a microphone![/FONT][/I] [FONT=Arial][B]Lance Storm[/B]: Just the two men I wanted to see! The WCW Tag Team Champions... if I can be serious for a moment... me and Mike Awesome are the best tag team here in the World Championship Wrestling. With that in mind we would like to challeng.[/FONT] [I][FONT=Arial Narrow]The interview of Lance Storm is cut off by the music of the Filthy Animals (Billy Kidman and Rey Mysterio Jr) the current WCW Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions.[/FONT][/I] [FONT=Arial][B]Rey[/B]: Well Lance you and Mr. Awesome are indeed a good team... no scratch that... a GREAT team but you have one thing missing around your waist that me and Kidman have... Me and Kidman believe we should be getting the WCW Tag Team Title shot because we unlike you have the chance to become the first ever UNITED WCW Tag Team Champions![/FONT] [FONT=Arial][I][FONT=Arial Narrow]The music of Buff Bagwell hits as Buff Bagwell walks out on stage![/FONT][/I] [FONT=Arial][B]Buff[/B]: Rey that is cute and all but your are looking at the GREATEST WCW Tag Team Champion of all time... Buff "The Stuff" Bagwell. I have held the WCW Tag Team Titles than more men than I can count. In fact since my normal tag partner Lex Luger is apparently unemployed I have found a new partner in the Franchise Shane Douglas and we feel its time for us to recapture the tag team titl...[/FONT] [I][FONT=Arial Narrow]Eric Bischoff appears on the Titantron Screen![/FONT][/I] [FONT=Arial][B]Eric[/B]: Gentlemen we have to cut to a break soon but how about this... as soon as the commercial break is over lets have Team Canada vs. The Filthy Animals vs. Bagwell and Douglas for the number 1 contendership to the World Tag Team Titles![/FONT] [FONT=Arial] [FONT=Arial Black][SIZE=3][B]Team Canada (Awesome and Storm with Major Gunns) vs. The Filthy Animals (Billy Kidman and Rey Mysterio Jr) vs. Buff Bagwell and Shane Douglas[/B][/SIZE][/FONT] [U][B][FONT=Arial Black]Analysis:[/FONT][/B][/U] [FONT=Arial]An exciting Triple Threat Tag Team Match featuring two of WCW's Best Teams and a Team that is on the rise again in Bagwell and Douglas.[/FONT] [U][B][FONT=Arial Black]The Match:[/FONT][/B][/U] [FONT=Arial]Good showcase of Tag Team Wrestling from all 6 men. Awesome and Storm definitely dominated most of the match on Kidman and Rey.... Bagwell and Douglas did what they could but they definitely weren't the two workhorses in the match. Some good spots including Awesome suicide diving onto the other 5 men in the match. Finish came with a big finishing move fest... Awesome hit his patented Awesome Bomb on Douglas... before Awesome could pin Douglas though Mysterio hit a Hurracanrana on Awesome followed by Buff Bagwell landing his Kobashi DDT on Mysterio! Bagwell was about to go for the pin but Major Gunns jumped up on the apron... Bagwell (Being Bagwell) walked towards Gunns on the apron... Storm then rushed in and rolled him up quickly for the win....[/FONT] [I][FONT=Arial Narrow]After the match Storm, Awesome and Gunns celebrated in the ring! After leaving for the back a frustrated Shane Douglas helps Bagwell up and begins to escort him out of the arena... however Douglas makes a turn for the worst and begins to beat down Bagwell... Douglas then raises up some of the pads outside of the ring and nails a DDT on the concrete.... Bagwell is left motionless as Douglas grabs a microphone...[/FONT][/I] [FONT=Arial][B]Franchise[/B]: *Doing his evil laugh*... you know something WCW it is about time that you all got FRANCHISED! I am sick and tired of everyone taking advantage of the Franchise! It is time for the Old Franchise to come back and the best way to do that is to rid myself of trash like Buff Bagwell and for the Franchise to make his own way to the top here in World Championship Wrestling![/FONT] [I][FONT=Arial Narrow]After another commercial break Bill Goldberg is backstage sitting in a corner...[/FONT][/I] [FONT=Arial][B]Goldberg[/B]: For months I have been waiting for MY next oppurtunity at the WCW World Heavyweight Championship... tonight is that oppurtunity. Tonight is the night the Dynasty known as Bill Goldberg begins again as I will destroy Diamond Dallas Page and Scott Steiner... then as soon as I see it fit I will take down Booker T... so my only question is... not who is next... but who is left? I the NATURE BOY Ric Flair have a challenge for the man I faced on what many people believed to be the last episode of WCW Nitro.... I have a challenge for my greatest in-ring foe... STING! Sting... I want to go one on one with you one more time at the next WCW Pay Per View Event... however lets up the ante... there isn't room anymore for both of us in WCW. WCW has the need to be filled by the youth now and there is only room for one locker room leader. It is either you or me Sting so I am proposing a Loser Leaves Town Match... I would like everyone to know I plan on actually sticking with this diary for quite some time... have about 6 months played through in my game and plan on doing a lot of work on this diary to make it stand out... eventually will be introducing graphics and all that other fun stuff in... Any input on part 1 is greatly appreciated.

Steiner of course is a marked man in this match thanks to his most recent WCW Title reign in which he destroyed both Goldberg and Diamond Dallas Page in matches (Albeit unfairly).[/FONT] [U][B][FONT=Arial Black]The Match:[/FONT][/B][/U] [FONT=Arial]A good Main Event match that WCW sorely needed to relaunch itself on its way back to the top of the US Wrestling scene. Diamond Dallas Page came out first to a good ovation and got the fans fire up. Steiner came out next and played his Main Event Heel role to perfection... Goldbergs entrance was absolutely amazing as the fans hit there feet as soon as he had left the curtain![/FONT] [FONT=Arial]The match started off slow with Goldberg, DDP and Steiner squaring off in a triangle... DDP made the first mistake by charging toward Steiner... Steiner and Goldberg quickly cut him off and threw him over the top rope. Steiner and Goldberg then turned on each other and began exchanging stiff shots... Steiner hit some big punches and forearms but Goldberg unleashed an array of headbutts, judo kicks and palm strikes that could've easily stunned the most gifted fighters. DDP however eventually made it back to the ring and cut off Goldberg from his flurry of hits with a double axe handle off of the top rope... at this point the very obvious tweener of the match Diamond Dallas Page worked together with Scott Steiner... Steiner and DDP used there power advantage on Goldberg to work on him with double clotheslines, a double bulldog, double backdrop and eventually Steiner helped out DDP by setting Goldberg up for a assisted Diamond Cutter... when this happened though Steiner cut DDP off to the pin and went after Goldberg... after a brief two count Goldberg kicked out causing the alliance between DDP and Steiner to have a small rift in it.[/FONT] [FONT=Arial]Steiner and Page eventually got back on track after briefly arguing and whipped Goldberg into the ropes... Goldberg however reversed what looked like a double clothesline attempt with a spear to Steiner! Once Steiner was hit he rolled out of the ring... DDP cut off Goldberg at this point and threw him to the outside where Goldberg would begin to brawl with Steiner... DDP took advantage of this and went up to the top turnbuckle... DDP then jumped off and came crashing down on both men with a cross body![/FONT] [FONT=Arial]After all three men were laid out at ringside Steiner eventually made it to his feet first and grabbed Goldberg... Steiner laid Goldberg out with a Belly to Belly Suplex on the entrance ramp and quickly grabbed Diamond Dallas Page and threw him in the ring.... After fighting for about a minute or two Steiner was able to hook Page in the Steiner Recliner submission... it appeared to be all but over for DDP and the match as Steiner seemed determined to make Page submit...[/FONT] [FONT=Arial]The referee begin to check Page's consciousness... Page seemed fine at first but started to slip as the hold got tighter. Page finnaly lost his conciousness and right before the ref checked him for the last time Goldberg hit the ring and took out Steiner with a huge Spear! Goldberg then picked up Steiner and lifted him up for the Jackhammer but Page had just enough energy to kick Goldberg in the stomach causing Goldberg to relinquish Steiner... Page went for a Diamond Cutter on Goldberg but he reversed it by pushing Page into the ropes... as DDP started to charge him Goldberg miraculously leapfrogged Page forcing Page into Steiner and then sending Steiner flying over the top rope... Page then turned around getting ready for Goldberg to hit him with a spear as Page sidestepped Goldberg who was rushing towards him... this cause Goldberg to suicide dive Steiner on the outside![/FONT] [FONT=Arial]Goldberg eventually regained his consciousness and made it back to the apron.... Page met him and began brawling with him... Page and Goldberg ended up in the corner with Goldberg on the top rope... Page was able to keep Goldberg subdued with a stiff shot and climbed up top with Goldberg to go for a Superplex... Goldberg blocked this attempt a few times until Scott Steiner rushed to the ring and Powerbombed Page off the top rope causing Goldberg to be Suplexed![/FONT] [FONT=Arial]Steiner then dragged Page to the center of the ring and locked in his Steiner Recliner once again... Page seemed about over again until Goldberg made his way back to his feet... Goldberg then rushed to Steiner and locked in a viscious looking triangle choke causing Steiner to relinquish one arm of the Recliner in order to try and deal with Goldberg... this however was to much as Steiner was eventually forced to submit to Goldberg's awesome new submission. Right after Goldberg let the hold go Page submitted as well so Goldbergs new hold saved him the match... The wiiner and new number 1 contender... BIll Goldberg.[/FONT] [I][FONT=Arial Narrow]Following the match the music of World Heavyweight Champion Booker T blasts over the loud speaker. Booker T makes his way to ringside as Diamond Dallas Page recovers from Steiner's submission and begins brawling with him to the backstage area... Booker T enters the ring as a battle worn Goldberg holds his chest writhing in pain... Booker T offers a handshake to Goldberg who looks at it and after a brief face off... Goldberg accepts it to end the newest episode of WCW Monday Night Nitro![/FONT][/I]

Many within WCW feel that Ken Shamrock would add to the Main Event scene instantly with a style in WCW that nobody ever uses and would help WCW erase its fatal mistake of hiring another MMA Star (Tank Abbot). Elix and Chavo immidiately go after AJ in an attempt to narrow the match down to 2 wrestlers. A very smart idea at the first of every Triple Threat match but that proves to be a fatal mistake later on as one of the men always ends up turning on the other and this was no different than any other match as Chavo quickly turned on Elix after Elix went for the pin on AJ after the Play of the Day. Styles looked really good in this match and many people in the crowd who were lukewarm on him upon entrance were won over after a vast array of cool moves. The finish came in usual cruiserweight multi-man fashion after many false finishes... AJ hit his Styles Clash on Elix... Chavo cut the pin off and hit the Gory Bomb on AJ... Elix broke the pin up with a Leg Drop from the top! Chavo and AJ then double teamed Elix and threw him to the outside... Chavo Irish Whipped AJ but AJ did a Moonsault off the middle rope and landed behind Chavo for a Reverse DDT... however Elix was on the apron at this point and springboarded up and hit AJ with a Springboard Neckbreaker causing AJ to Reverse DDT Chavo... Disquo has been hitting the gym some and even though still has that ****y attitude about him seems more serious about competition. Booker T looked strong in this contest (Which is what was needed) but Disqo put up a good fight.
