The Silverbacks vs The Immortal Bumfholes I don't see the Bumfholes as being people you hire hitmen against, Silverbacks with a rare normal tag match here, which I suspect they'd win. Sorta like what I had with Payne before - on-screen, the gimmick of not caring for wins and getting yourself DQ'd on purpose works well, but in-game, they're going to want to win eventually.. The New Wave vs Double Deuce Simple match to remind people who THE BEST TAG TEAM IN THE WORLD TODAY are.. Payne vs Blood Elderberry Easiest one to pick. Also, see above. Matthew Keith vs Steven Parker vs Ace Newton for the SWF Generations Championship Well, if there's one belt that's likely to change on TV.. :p I see Newton losing it here, as he's been neglecting it for about 70% of his title reign, Parker could be better suited to treat it right. I see Keith's first title being the tag belts, and he hasn't been here long enough to win gold yet anyway. Ash Campbell vs Sean McFly McFly wins, riot averted. Angry Gilmore vs Colossus I don't see Bruce's big bodyguard as getting a Runaway Train-like sudden main event push, sooo.. John McClean vs Joss Thompson vs Antonio Marquez for the SWF North American Championship Honestly, I don't think there's a worker better suited for this belt right now then Marquez. Could see McClean winning, but the retain seems like the better idea. Plus, I already have one title change picked..but yeah, I'd keep it with Marquez, for quite a while, honestly. Giant Tana vs Giant Tana vs Rich Money for the SWF World Heavyweight Championship The Tana's will try to work together at first, but their Giant Ego's will eventually give way to that, and Money will be swift to capitalize.

I am joined on this fine evening by Jerry Eisen and Grandmaster Bling. Jerry Eisen: Can I be Grandmaster Jerry? Peter Michaels: No, Jerry. Jerry Eisen: Okay then.
Eric Eisen + Runaway Train In-Ring Segment This week starts out much as last week, with Interim General Manager Eric Eisen and his silent but ever-present backup Runaway Train making their down to the ring to Double E's familiar entrance music. The crowd boos. Despite taking a stand against the much-hated Rich Money last week, Eisen is far from having won the hearts of the fans over. Double E looks surly as he snatches the microphone away from the ring attendant. The Interim General Manager starts by saying the past week has put him in a sour mood... and a sour Eisen is a scary thing. A dangerous thing, even. It all started two weeks ago, with the comments from Rich Money. The SWF World Heavyweight champion then refusing to apologize last week made it worse. It even doesn't help that Eisen just doesn't understand why people are worked up over a stupid piece of a stupid statue. Even Legends brand General Manager Eric Tyler has added to it. Eisen is not too impressed with his Legends brand equal, after the way that he could hardly be bothered with some of match announcements he was supposed to make regarding some of the cross-brand matches for Christmas Clash 2008. If Tyler can't be bothered, at least Eisen will do his job. The exciting match that Tyler could barely be bothered to mention is a fantastic clash of veteran versus youngster. The established star against the Generation Supreme star of tomorrow. Two former SWF North American champions. It is the Legends brand star Chris Morrisette against the Supreme brand star Marc DuBois. The kind of fantastic clash that only the Supreme Wrestling Federation can offer American wrestling fans! The fan reaction is pretty positive, mainly as the fans still love the former Lobster Warrior. Eisen then confirms a match that was semi-announced by Angry Gilmore... The New Wave facing Sara Silver's Silverbacks. Two great tag teams in what should be a great match. And the only tag team match booked for the pay per view! This one doesn't get quite the same reaction. There is one other match for the General Manager to announce. A cross-brand match just agreed yesterday. Because Double E doesn't want anyone to think that he's forgotten about Payne and his punishment... The big man in the mask with the bad attitude will be facing the big man in the kitty cat face paint... Big Cat Brandon! This announcement generates a surprisingly strong fan reaction, as they cheer the thought of the Big Cat pounding on Payne. Then, in a near repeat of the opening segment of Supreme TV a week ago, Eric Eisen demands that SWF World Heavyweight champion Rich Money make an appearance. It only takes a moment before “Numb” by Jay-Z & Linkin Park escorts the man out... Rich Money, Remo + Ace Newton Same as last week, the champion comes out with his two friends. The trio are all in street clothes. “Hard Cash” has his world title, while Newton has both his SWF Generation championship and the metal briefcase that contains his Sure Shot open contract. Remo carries a designer burlap sack that looks like it could only possibly contain one thing... That is of no concern to Eric Eisen at the moment, however. He glares at the brand champion for a long moment, before explaining in very clear and concise terms that Money is being given one more opportunity. One last chance to make amends and apologize to the General Manager. To set things right. Before they get bad. Very very bad. Because this is a point of no return. A point where, if he chooses poorly, Rich Money may look back upon with regret. So, one last chance, Money.... The question hangs in the quiet arena for a long time. Money doesn't even have a microphone. He considers the “offer” for a moment, before waving his hands and shaking his head. No deal. No apology. This time, Eisen doesn't get irate. He gets cold. He stares at Money with calculating eyes and a freezing glare. He says that Rich Money chose poorly. There will be repercussions, Double E promises. They start tonight. Because Rich Money is going to be putting that SWF World Heavyweight championship belt on the line. And he's going to be doing so against Marc DuBois... a dramatic pause, added with a big of a pop from the crowd. And Troy Tornado! That one gets a big, loud, and long pop from the fans. The champion really doesn't react to the announcement. This is only the start, Eisen promises. There are going to be more repercussions for Money at the pay per view. To say that Money and his cohorts looked unconcerned would be an understatement. If anything, they look pleased with themselves that they've managed to get under the skin of the Interim General Manager so quickly and easily. Grade: A
Peter Michaels: Marc DuBois... Troy Tornado... Rich Money... Now that is a main event!
The Immortal Bumfholes vs The Silverberacks A damned fine tag match. It is obvious from the start that Mr. Hill and Mr. Anderson are targeting Randy B, which is the opposite approach that most opponents take against the Bumfholes, as Z-Bum is noted as the slightly weaker wrestler of the brothers. Perhaps it could have some to do with the fact that Randy is going to be in the four-way match for the North American title at Christmas Clash, facing Antonio Marquez, Sean Deeley, and... Ace Newton. Hmm.... Randy B takes a pretty good beating as the Silverback duo wrestle smart and dirty. There are two clear tags that referee Darren Smith misses before he finally sees Randy make the hot tag to his brother. Z-Bum takes on both Hill and Anderson for a moment, but a perfectly timed distraction by Sara Silver gives the advantage back to her team. And they make it count, double-teaming Zimmy while Randy is still recovering and can't do much to assist. A King of the Mountain double-team facebuster allows Mr. Hill get the three count and score a big win. The Bumfhole brothers do not look impressed. Brent Hill Wins at 11:04 via Pinfall Grade: B
Peter Michaels: The two time champions go down to Sara Silver's team!
Double Deuce vs The New Wave Despite not notching up much in the way of wins, the 2nd generation pairing of Vessey and Valentine have looked good of late. Not only displaying good individual skills, the duo show off some impressive teamwork. Its not quite up to the amazing teamwork of Guide and Scout, but its not far away. And it has the advantage of including endless cheating. There is no formula isolate and attack approach here from either team - they stick to quick tags and rapid teamwork throughout. The New Wave are better but Double Deuce even things out with their underhand tactics. The skill and experience of the face duo proves a bit too much, leading up to a finishing sequence where Guide and Scout have both opponents in the ring at the same time, battering at them with flurries of punches, kicks, and knees, then switching places, and then back again. The New Wave hit Vessey - the legal man - with a Wave of Mutilation and Guide gets the pin. Guide Wins at 9:22 via Pinfall Grade: B

Blood Elderberry vs Payne This one looks like it should be a very one-sided affair - the resident monster of the brand against a tag team guy who rarely wins. Yet its far more competitive than almost anyone expects. Quite simply, Blood Elderberry has no fear and he battles Payne throughout. The match is fairly even, with both men getting in some offense. The crowd gets behind the tag team specialist brawler as it actually looks like he might mange the upset for a time, but he's eventually overpowered by the masked man known as Payne. After Payne tosses his 350-pound opponent around a bit and Elderberry bumps a bit, Payne goes his epic moonsault. That is followed by a Hades Bomb two-handed choke slam. Despite Elderberry taking the loss, its the kind of defeat that does quite a bit for the loser. Payne Wins at 8:21 via Pinfall Grade: C+
Jerry Eisen: The big man went boom! Peter Michaels: Oh lord Jerry... The former tag team champions are on the backstage interview set with Farrah Hesketh. Dawn the Cheerleader does most of the talking, after the interviewer Hesketh asks them what the feel about Badd Kompany winning the SWF World Tag Team championships. The response is that they are happy to see Sexy and McClean finally get shut up by someone. And its very obvious who the first challengers for those newly-won belts should be... Valiant & Giedroyc. The former champions hold not just one... not just two... but three wins over Badd Kompany through 2008. The two “long hairs” nod their agreement. Farrath earns herself some glares when she asks how they can be considered the top contenders when they don't even have a match for the Christmas Clash pay per view? The icy response from Dawn is that deserve to be on the pay per view as much as they deserve to be considered the number one contenders. However, since they can't do anything about not being booked on Christmas Clash, they sure can do something to make sure they can't be overlooked at the top contenders for those tag belts... Valiant & Giedroyc both nod their agreement, then follow Dawn as she strolls of the set. Farrah gives a cute shrug before the camera cuts away. Grade: B+

Steven Parker vs Matthew Keith vs Ace Newton SWF Generations Championship Much as the Generations Championship should, this match shows off the future of the SWF. This one shows off three things – that Matthew Keith could do pretty well as a singles competitor, Newton and Parker sure don't seem to get along that well, and Newton makes a helluva heel. He spends the match alternating between showing off his prodigious skills and playing the classic cowardly heel – stalling, yelling at the referee, taunting the crowd, and then even begging Keith for mercy at one point. The champion is all kinds of opportunistic to get the win, as he takes an exaggerated bump from a shoulder block by Keith and ends up outside the ring. Moments later, Keith counters Parker's attempt at his Future Shock inverted face slam, and ends up getting his fellow challenger with a Neutron Plex suplex made famous by his father. Matthew Keith then locks in the Proton Lock and the crowd pops for a potential big moment. But Newton breaks it up by coming off the top turnbuckle with a big elbow to Keith, quickly following it up with his Aces High Go-2-Sleep and getting the pin to retain. Ace Newton Wins at 8:54 via Pinfall Grade: B-

Marc DuBois, Joss Thompson, Sean Deeley, Randy Bumfhole + Zimmy Bumfhole Backstage Video Segment A backstage video is shown on the Supreme Screen. The camera slowly approaches a backstage lounge area - basically some carpet, sofas, and a coffee table amid the sea of painted concrete that makes up the remainder of the backstage. A small powwow is going on in that dimly-lit lounge area. From a distance, only the new SWF World Tag Team champions Sean Deeley and Joss Thompson can be seen. The camera creeps closer, moving to the side so the others become visible. The two seated directly across from the tag team champions seem pretty obvious, even though only the back of their heads can be seen - Randy and Zimmy Bumfhole are distinctive enough, even from that angle. The individual seated on the side is obscured by a combination of poor lighting and shaggy hair. When the individual leans forward in their seat, it becomes clear that it is Marc DuBois. Five of the best of Generation Supreme. Five fantastic talents who have already built rivalries between themselves. Yet they are seated together. The discussion is animated, but it is clearly not tense. The tag title belts lie casually across the laps of Badd Kompany, and their pretty little manager is nowhere to be seen. DuBois is without his ever-present Remember Tomorrow backup. The camera gets close enough to catch a smidgen of their conversation. Randy Bumfhole is saying that, like, the Kings are out. They don't even want to hear about it, dudes! DuBois comments that he was right about that and they never should talked to those four. “The Evolution” has more to say on the subject, but its lost to the microphone. The talk then turns to Darryl, which would assumed to be Darryl Devine. There is mention of Hannah, and then some quick discussion that can't quite be made out. Joss Thompson and Sean Deeley show their impeccable team timing by giving tandem rueful shrugs. DuBois spots the camera, yelling out and pointing. All the young men rise and stare at the camera, until its forced to slowly back away, out of microphone range. Whatever the reason behind the little backstage meeting is left unknown. The purpose unclear and unstated. Grade: A

Ash Campbell vs Sean McFly Oh young Mr. Campbell, why even bother trying? His nickname is "The Joker", and it really is quite funny if he thinks there is any chance of him winning the match. The affair is almost all McFly. The only offense that Ash manages against The American Tiger is mostly cheap shots and those aren't very effective anyway. McFly is well known for making almost any opponent look credible and dangerous, but he doesn't do that here for the Four Kings member, for whatever reason. Instead, he dominates. Perhaps it is Campbell's association with Newton, and his association to Money, who McFly clearly has some unfinished business with. With a rather bland and uninspiring opponent for a show leading into a pay per view where The American Tiger has a big match, it seems as though the fans are expecting the drama to come from that. Fans seem to spend a lot of match watching for an appearance from Jack Bruce, and they seem disappointed when McFly hits his DeLorean Driver and gets the pinfinall with no sign of the Long Island Angel. Sean McFly Wins at 6:19 via Pinfall Grade: B
Grandmaster Bling: The Tiger did not break a sweat in that match. Jerry Eisen: Do tigers sweat? Colossus actually looks good, tossing Gilmore about in the early going. But the Canadian begins to use his quickness and diverse skill set to overcome the power-based offense of Colossus. The fans enjoy the match, it seems, but they never really seem to buy the possibility of Colossus going over the established superstar Gilmore on his debut, despite his size and menace. There is a pretty good pop as Gilmore has Jack Bruce's bodyguard reeling, crashing into him with a Gilmore Sky High Elbow and then his Anger Management Russian legsweep to get the pinfall. Angry Gilmore Wins at 8:19 via Pinfall Grade: B

John McClean vs Joss Thompson vs Antonio Marquez SWF North American Championship Match The trio put on a very good match that could easily go twice as long. The main dynamic of the match is an obvious tension between Thompson and McClean, with the duo more intent on inflicting damage upon each other trying to take down the champion. Marquez keeps interjecting himself into the action with his fast-paced and innovative offense. Its a fairly open match, but the champion never seems to be in any real danger of losing the title heading into his big four-way title defense at the pay per view. The end sequence is a bit similar to the earlier threeway match, with Marquez being outside the ring as Thompson nails the former tag champion with his Clean Cutter spinning back bomb suplex, but before he can take advantage, he takes a missile drop kick off the top turnbuckle from Marquez, who quickly locks in his Champagne Breakfast submission and gets Thompson to tap just before McClean can break up the hold. Antonio Marquez Wins at 9:47 via Submission Grade: B+

Jack Bruce, Joanne Rodriguez, Colossus + Atlas In-Ring Promo When Jack Bruce's familiar entrance music - “I Wish I Had an Angel” by Nightwish – begins to play, its not the Angel himself who emerges, but the two hulking members of his “security attaché ”. Looking very much like a bouncer from hell, Colossus looks no worse for his match earlier in the night. Then the beautiful Joanne Rodriguez emerges. Finally, out comes Jack Bruce himself. The boos almost drown out the music. The two big men form up in front of Bruce, J-Ro beside him with her clipboard held over his head, then the tight little group hustle down to the ring like a rock star having to be led through a crowd. In the ring, J-Ro hands Jack Bruce first a bottle of water and then a microphone. He takes his time, sipping from the water bottle, before making use of the microphone. Jack Bruce: In two days... at Christmas Clash 2008... It is going to be... Show Time! A few scattered fans scream along with Bruce's catchphrase, but the majority of the capacity Boston crowd just boos instead. The former champion grins at this. Jack Bruce: And people have the audacity to ask me why I turned on you fans... I never turned on you fans. You turned on me. You pretended to love me. Pretended to love Show Time. I gave everything for you fans. And what did you do? You jumped at the chance to forget about poor little Jack Bruce and give your love to the next star who walked through the door. A man who tried to use my friendship for his own gain. No, I didn't turn on you fans and I didn't turn on Sean McFly. The Angel is the victim here! The fans have been booing through the whole explanation from Bruce, the negativity growing in intensity and volume until he can barely be heard. The don't quiet down for a short bit. The Long Island Angel waits it out, sipping on his water bottle. Jack Bruce: Show Time will be a victim no more! No, that isn't going to happen. Not from you fans or from anyone there in the back. Just like any rock rock or movie star, I need an entourage. Since this is the Supreme Wrestling Federation, not just any entourage will do. Jack Bruce doesn't need a bunch of ungrateful leeches like you fans following him around. So I started by finding my lovely, tough, and talented personal assistant Joanne Rodriguez here.. And she helped me find the kind of security that a star of my caliber needs. Atlas and Colossus are not just big, not just talented, not just mean... They're also a pretty decent tag team. This isn't just any entourage. It's a Show-Time Entourage. Its the Show-Tourage. Looking pretty pleased with himself, as the crowd boos again on cue. Jack Bruce: With support like the Show-Tourage, the Long Island Angel has been able to focus on one thing – Sean McFly. Because I want payback for the way that McFly tried to use me. Tried to deceive me into friendship, with the intent of using that friendship to his own selfish ends. McFly, you and are going to settle this. No disqualification. No count out. There will be a winner. Only one of us will walk away. And you better believe that the Angel will be the one doing the walking. More boos. Remo and Ace Newton are down at ringside for the champion, but they stay uninvolved. Though the match never seems to be have Rich Money in real danger for the most part, the talent of the men involved make it a compelling match. The action is fast-paced and moves continuously. The story of the early going is Money displaying his uncanny ability to turn things in his favor, including getting DuBois and Tornado to battle each other while he takes rest outside the ring. He doesn't get to rest too long, as Tornado goes out after him, and DuBois hits both with a suicide dive. The match slows down after that. At the ten minute mark, it grinds to a halt. All eyes in the arena turn to the top of the stage, where Christian Faith has emerged. The SWF Supreme Champion has his Alliance members with him. “The Evolution” attempts to take advantage of the distraction by grabbing the champion Money with his charging roll-up pin, and holds it long enough, but Tornado hammers DuBois with a kick just before the three. Money gets up looking annoyed, and whether its his desire to look impressive in front of his opponent for the pay per view or that he just decides he he's had enough, the champion kicks it into high. The last few minutes of the match are all Money. He wobbles Tornado with a Money Shaker uppercut, then tosses him over the rope. That gives the champion time to work over the youngster DuBois, finishing off the job with a Bank Roll suplex and then his Dollars from Heaven splash to get the win. He is joined by Remo and Ace Newton. To the wall of boos from the crowd, the victorious champion celebrates. He pulls his two friends into the celebration, with Remo holding onto the designer burlap sack and Newton with both his SWF Generations title and the metal briefcase. The celebration only lasts a few minutes... Christian Faith, Chris Morrisette, Chris Caufield + Big Cat Brandon Faith and his Alliance friends make their way slowly down to the ring. The celebrating ends and Money, Remo, and Newton simply watch. The foursome stop at ringside, staring up at the trio in the ring. Money grins and motions for them to “come on in”. They do so... The tension ratchets up a notch as all seven men are in the ring. Faith steps right up to Money, and they go nose-to-nose. Neither have microphones, but its perfectly easy to understand things. Money repeats the “I'm money” phrase, as he points to his SWF World Heavyweight champion belt and the piece of Christian Faith's statue that Newton now holds. Things look likely to escalate, as Remo stares hard to Big Cat Brandon. Newton, standing half behind Remo, threatens Morrisette with his metal briefcase. An interesting addition to the dynamic in the ring is the fact that Marc DuBois and Troy Tornado are both still on the stage, watching the happenings in the ring. Though the crowd isn't focusing on the pair, the camera does catch them. Both men look conflicted as they watch – while neither have any love for Rich Money and his dominance of their brand, they don't seem to much appreciate Christian Faith and his friends “invading” the Supreme brand much either. Both DuBois and Tornado look ready to get back to the ring in a hurry if the situation escalates... though its not quite clear which side they would take... Faith motions for his friends to back off a bit, dropping the tension in the ring down a notch. Money then motions to Newton, who tosses his briefcase aside and with great drama, reaches into the burlap sack and removes a tarnished silver item... He holds it up above his head, now standing behind Rich Money. The detached head from Faith's statue is looking a bit worse for wear – its scratched and pitted, with a good size scar across one cheek. But it is clearly Christian Faith. And the real Christian Faith gets fired up when he sees it. He gets up in Money's face again, demanding it to be returned. The response from Money is easy to understand – come take it. With the two biggest stars in the Supreme Wrestling Federation nose-to-nose in the ring, the show ends... Grade: A
Peter Michaels: Oh my, this is going to be a big match between these two! TEW.com - SWF Booth Change Rumors Who's coming? And who's going? Wednesday, Week 2, December 2008
Your primary source for all the wrestling news you need, TEW.com, has picked up some interesting rumors regarding the Supreme Wrestling Federation. Specifically regarding the commentators booth on Supreme TV. Just a few months ago, the third seat was a constant rotation of "guests" joining regulars Peter Michaels and Jerry Eisen. That third seat is now occupied by Grandmaster Bling. Despite still having a role as a manager on the Legends brand, Bling seems to have done well enough in his role on Supreme TV that it seems unlikely his spot would be in danger. The source within the SWF was unable to provide any further detail, so it could be either Michaels or Eisen that might be removed. Given who Jerry Eisen's father is, that move seems unlikely. Peter Michaels still holds the title of Head Booker of the Supreme Wrestling Federation, but numerous sources indicate that his authority has been massively scaled back throughout 2008. Michaels could even be in danger of losing his booking position. The announcer has been with the SWF for nearly a decade and a half, clearly one of the most respected announcers in the business. But if there is indeed a power struggle backstage in Supreme, Michaels seems to be coming up on the low end. As for who the replacement might be, SWF is known to have several young announcers that are being developed both at Rhode Island Pro Wrestling and on the Generation Supreme B-show. Signing an experienced announcer or commentator from another promotion seems a definite possibility. There have been recent rumors that both Jason Azaria and Kyle Rhodes could be looking to "escape the sinking ship of Total Championship Wrestling". TEW.com is where you will find the best news and rumors. So keep checking to find out when more information is available. As long as it's not Mike Hogewood... :p Actually, Hogewood on Legends would be awesome. Melanie Florence would have more balls than Dave Prazak and come up with no end of witty comebacks to his pointless waffle and excited shouts of "DID YOU SEE THAT?!" as if for some reason nobody else was paying any attention to the match.

Hopefully someone a bit more interesting and fun than Hogewood. I'm hyping it a bit because I think its going to add a fun dynamic to the brand. Should have the SWF Legends preview up later tonight, and I'm shooting for getting to the pay per view by sometime next. It should be another really fun one, I think.
More fun than someone actively encouraging abuse of marine mammals ?
Well... no. I can make no claims is that it exceed the pure joyousness that is whale punching. That is taking things to an entirely new level. I'm aiming for a more obtaininable level for myself. Wait... Would Tana Punching count as abuse of a marine animal? Because it could be close to that level of fun...

Please tell me it's not Kyle Rhodes, unless he's massively improved. Even then, you have tons of managers in the waiting-screw that, WRESTLERS, who are better color commentators. As for Peter Michaels, I really hope you aren't replacing him. Unless he's been acting up. Peter Michaels is way too good as an announcer. In fact, he and Duane Fry are the top two announcers in the whole game world at the start, followed by Tommy London. If Tommy London replaces Jerry, I'm going to be very happy.

I'm really tempted to say more about my plans. Even if its just to drop some fun hints and hopefully get people guessing. But I think its going to end up being more fun if I give away less now. So the only thing I will say about it is that the change is being made for storyline purposes. That could be on-screen storyline, backstage storyline, or both. And Zeel, having Tana in the announcers booth on Supreme TV would complicate my plans to have Tana end Rich Money's Beautiful Reign!

The Fry Report Preview
Every week on The Fry Report podcast will provide the latest information on everything Supreme. News, rumors, and interviews, all brought to you by the incomparable Duane Fry. Preview for podcast available Wednesday, Week 2, December 2008 "Just a day away... the greatest Christmas present imaginable for any wrestling fan. It is SWF Christmas Clash 2008! But before that, we have SWF Legends, with plenty of great action on tap and potentially plenty of drama yet to unfold." "Bart Biggz has been granted his wish of a match with Acid for the SWF Shooting Star championship at the Christmas Clash pay per view. But the former tag team star faces a big challenge this week, as he faces Acid's fellow Watchman, JD Morgan." "What does it take to topple a couple of giants? That is a question that Jacob Jett and Mainstream Hernandez... er, sorry, Kid Liquid... must be asking themselves. The lightweight duo will be facing one of the biggest and most intimidating tandems in the entire SWF as they face The Golden Faction duo Tex & Rex." "The tag tag is are not the only ones faces an uphill battle. SWF Shooting Star champion Acid will be taking on the big old hoss, Pistol Pete Hall. Oddly, the Shooting Star belt is not on the line. Skilled or not, it would be something of an upset if the masked Canadian takes this one, but both competitors will be looking for momentum heading into the pay per view. As previously mentioned, Acid takes on Biggz as mentioned. Pistol Pete has a huge task ahead of him as he faces "The Alpha Dog" Remo." "Steve Frehley is scheduled to appear, but not in the ring. Rumors indicate that The Dark Destroyer will address his future, and has a pretty big announcement to make. With offers from Sara Silver and Emma Chase, as well a rumored offer from Eric Tyler, Frehley has plenty of options if he does decide he wants a manager, agent, or whatever these three are presenting themselves as." "Dan Stone Jr is widely considered one of the most talented all-around wrestlers in the world. So its no surprise that he's been treated with a huge degree of respect since he debuted. He is scheduled to face a familiar opponent, Bloodstone, for the SWF Legends championship at Christmas Clash. Despite his pedigree and resume, there are still some fans who are questioning any wrestler getting a title shot like that less a month into their Supreme Wrestling Federation career. Those doubters will either be validated or shut up as "The Lord of the Ring" faces the very talented and experienced Bryan Holmes into what should be a fantastic match." "A match between Dan Stone Junior and Bryan Holmes is a match that could headline any pay per view. But such is the quality of SWF Legends that it doesn't even main event the show. That will fall to four of the biggest names in this business... Good friends Christian Faith and Chris Morrisette will take on Remo and one of the most promising young wrestlers on the globe, Ace Newton. Given that Rich Money will be in attendance at the Theater of Dreams, this one should be explosive." "You don't want to miss out! SWF Legends always offers the best action! SWF Legends... only on CBA!"
The Fry Report will be available on SWF.com or directly from iTunes.
An extra special feature for the Fry Report... Steve Flash vs Rocky Golden I would love for this to be another "He's really over-rated" moment, but I don't see Flash winning this. JD Morgan vs Bart Biggz While this would be a mini-upset in the diary world, Morgan isn't really a big name, as even in National companies he auto-pushes to a Midcarder. Bart should, at this point, atleast be a stronger midcarder, or an Upper Midcarder, so a win here actually seems likely, and it's a good way to further a program with his Watchmen friend. Jett Stream vs Tex & Rex Rooting for Jett Stream, as they've paid some dues at this point. But I don't see a win over both of these two happening.. Akima Brave vs Chris Caufield Glorified squash. Pistol Pete Hall vs Acid Now this is a tough choice, and an interesting match up, but I don't really see Acid going over Hall in a Sports Entertainment company.. Bryan Holmes vs Dan Stone Jr Wow, bad night for the Watchmen..until he faces a solidified main event star, I won't be predicting against DSJr. Warrior Faith vs Remo & Ace And Morrisette is still the token main-event-babyface-partner-with-no-real-reason-to-wrestle-in-this-match-aside-from-being-the-friend-of-the-one-with-an-angle. Damn, like eight months of this..he must be getting sick of it.. :p

One might assume that he would be pleased that he again gets to open Legends with his Mr. Tyler Says segment, but the GM looks rather unhappy regardless. Taking the microphone, Tyler begins by saying that he's none too happy about what Eric Eisen had to say last night on Supreme TV. Perhaps the Interim GM of the other brand is still a touch immature and needs to learn that it isn't productive to insult your peers? But Tyler doesn't want to get into name-calling, so he'll just leave off at that. Everyone is talking about The Forsaken. Talk about who or what it is. What it might be. Talking about when all will be revealed. Well, Eric Tyler knows. He stops for a moment, letting that sink in. Eric Tyler explains that he's very used to being “in the know”. But in this case, his role is more than that. This time, you could say he's one of the catalysts. A driving force behind The Forsaken. When the time comes and everything is in place, The Forsaken will be revealed. And once that happens, nothing will ever be the same on the Legends brand. The entire Supreme Wrestling Federation might be changed forever. Tyler lets that sink in, nodding knowingly as the crowd boos at the possibility. The real announcement that Tyler came out to make, he tells them, is that he has come to a decision. After some careful consideration on the part of the General Manager, and obviously disregarding the rumors that he has offered Frehley a spot amongst his Watchmen, Tyler had decided this – when Steve Frehley defeats Troy Tornado at Christmas Clash, The Dark Destroyer will become the number one contender for Christian Faith's SWF Supreme Championship. For the first time, Faith will have to face Frehley in a one-on-one match. One for the ages. And as true a test for Faith as his match against Rich Money tomorrow night... but with his belt on the line. Tyler ends the segment with a sly smirk. Grade: A*
Duane Fry: So you have to tell us, Phil – is The Forsaken Vengeance? Is the big man coming back? Phil Fry: I don't know, Duane, and probably wouldn't tell you if I did. The size difference is notable – 235 lbs of Flash to 345 lbs of Goldenness. The veteran Flash does a good job of using his quickness and experience to control the action, pressing Golden and going for several early pinfalls. The ringside is full of Golden Faction members – Kristen Pearce, Texas Pete, and Rex – and it soon becomes apparent what Golden's approach is. After tossing Flash out of the ring through the ropes, the big youngster begins arguing with referee Jay Fair while Pete and Rex have a chance to hammer away on Flash. This happens again and again, with the referee never catching on. Apparently the Jay Fair isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. Flash never stops battling, but the attacks from the big men at ring side are clearly taking their toll. Finally, when Rex lays in with some particularly heavy clubbing blows, the crowd pops as Robbie Retro makes his way down to the ring to help out his tag team partner. Retro forces Tex and Rex to back off, but it looks to late for Flash. It takes help from Robbie for Flash to get back into the ring. Golden immediately goes for the pin, but Flash kicks out. The big man then tries to get his smaller opponent up in The Rack finisher, but Flash smartly hangs onto the turnbuckles for dear life. A boot to the ribs and Golden goes for another pin, but that results in another kick out. So finally the leader of the Golden Faction simply tosses Flash outside the ring again. Flash can't seem to find his feet. Retro moves in to help his veteran partner, but referee Jay Fair is suddenly paying attention and orders him away. Flash struggles towards the ring, as the crowd urges him on and the ref counts to ten. Flash has managed to grab a hold of the ropes and is trying in vain to heave himself back onto the ring apron when Fair finally gets to ten. Golden celebrates the win like he did it all all himself and is something he should be proud of. Rocky Golden Wins at 9:44 via Count Out Grade: B
Melanie Florence: Well that's a win you cannot be much proud of! The calculating, controlled style of the veteran Morgan is a stark contrast to the reckless approach that Biggz has adopted. The lightweight former tag team specialist has a tenacity that aids him here, as he wears down Morgan and begins to take over the match. Morgan keeps trying to take the match to the mat so he can try to control Biggz, but the quickness of the smaller Biggz keeps it from happening. Biggz gets the pin after his Biggz Up fame dropper, a solid win over a worker above him on the card. The manager does all the talking, as the two wrestlers keep their silence and look intense. They wear their stylish tag belts. When Ana asks whether the tandem thought they would find success in the SWF this quickly, Raven points out that Pathlow and Perez have found success wherever they have gone throughout their careers. And these two have been all over the world. Their style might come first and foremost from Japan, but their experience comes from everywhere. The interviewer then asks what their plans are with the belts. Raven tells Ana that the Lords will not be “labeled” as a high flier tag team, as some are already trying to do to them. They are more than that, and they will prove it. They might have belts that are intended to showcase the high flying style, but the team is willing to put those belts on the line against anyone at any time. That is the way of pride and honor. That is the way of the Lords of Pure. It doesn't work particularly well, but that doesn't stop them from trying. Jett and Kid Liquid show off some pretty decent teamwork, and use that teamwork to fluster Rex, eventually taking him down with schoolyard tactics. They then attempt a dual pin, but Pete gets in there in time to break it up. A short time later, Texas Pete smashes Jett into the canvas with a Lone Star Drop powerbomb and gets the three-count. Texas Pete Wins at 7:55 via Pinfall Grade: C
Duane Fry: The little guys never stood a chance. Phil Vibert: Of course they did. The five-some fills the ring, with Rocky Golden being handed the microphone. Rocky Golden tells the fans that he wants to address, specifically, comments made by General Manager Eric Tyler last week. Talk about the backstage chaos that Danger and Violence Extreme was notorious for. The violence. The chaos. The anarchy. Dog eat dog. Survival of the fittest. Those ideas are pretty appealing, Golden says, to both himself and the rest of the Faction. It is an appealing thought because even in a world of anarchy, the one thing that still holds its value is gold. Rocky grins and allows this time to sink in, as the fans express their displeasure. The big youngster then goes on to say that his Faction will help contribute to the cause, doing whatever they can to ensure that only the strongest on the Legends brand make it to the top. Moreso, that only the strongest can stay there. Eric Tyler has a brilliant and innovate vision for the brand, and the Faction will be more than happy to assist however they can in bringing that vision tor reality. Tomorrow night, Golden is going to start with Gilmore. Even though Gilmore might be on that other brand, “The Golden Boy” is going to prove that Gilmore doesn't belong in the elite of the Supreme Wrestling Federation. Golden is finished... but Bloodstone isn't. The reigning SWF Legends champion takes the microphone from Kristen Pearce before she can hand it to the ring attendant. Bloodstone simply says that tomorrow night, he's going to make Stone wish he had stayed up in Canada where he belongs. Things are different here in Supreme. Its a different world. Dan Stone Junior is going to learn that the hard way. And Bloodstone is damned sure going to keep his SWF Legends belt. Golden does not look impressed at Bloodstone having something to say, but the two exchange no words as the group exists the ring. Grade: A
Phil Vibert: If Golden was trying to spin a metaphor there, someone needs to explain to him that gold has value regardless... He doesn't... The hard-hitting, hard-battling Samoan never seems likely to take down the main eventer Caufield... but that doesn't stop Akima from trying. The youngster has his tag team partner Kid Toma and manager BJ O'Neill at ringside, which helps add a bit of drama to the match. Caufield controls much of the action, but some interference on behalf of Akima Brave keeps him from getting the win quicker. That ringside help ends up costing Akima the match, as O'Neill distracts the referee while Akima Brave holds onto Caufield, giving Kid Toma a chance to jump onto the ring apron and aim a bit headbutt at the veteran. Caufield ducks under, and Toma's thick Samoan skull smashes his tag team partner in the nose. A Danger Drop DDT from Caufield allows the hardcore legend to grab the win. Akima Brave looks pretty unhappy with tag team partner after the loss. He comes upon his fellow Alliance members talking in a small group. Faith and Morrisette are ready for their coming match, while Big Cat is in street clothes... but is still wearing his face paint. The friends congratulate Caufield on his win, before the conversation turns back to the match that Faith and Morrisette have coming up against Remo and Ace Newton to end the show. Everything stops as someone unseen approaches from down the hall, off camera. The group stops talking and watches the approach. There is no tension, so it seems unlikely to be a coming attack. Then Christian Faith makes a very small nod towards the open door of a small office behind them. The group moves through that door. The last two people to enter the room are Dani Nevada and Dan Stone Jr... Then the door closes behind them. Grade: A*
Duane Fry: Dan Stone Jr? The crowd loves Acid throwing his stocky 225-pound at the 350-pound cowboy, with Pistol Pete responding by tossing Acid about. The little man takes some serious bumps for the veteran. The SWF Shooting Star champion is not one to give up, however, and he keeps coming at Hall, eventually using his quickness to get the big man spun about. Can Acid get Pistol Pete chasing enough to tire the big man? Nope. Acid gets flashy and attempts a huracanrana on the big man, which doesn't turn out so well. Acid then compounds the mistake by deciding to brawl in the middle of the ring and taking a pretty good beating. Acid attempts to throw some kicks, spinning kicks, and drop kicks at the cowboy but what lands doesn't seem to worry the big man much. The crowd pops huge when Pistol Pete finally starts to unleash the big lariats that he has become beloved for. The masked champions sells them well, flipping big. The match is over after Hall finally hits his massive Pistol Whip Lariat, which Acid sells as heavily as anyone thus far. Pistol Pete Hall Wins at 11:32 via Pinfall Grade: B+
Melanie Florence: Props to the little guy for trying, then. The video has become more abstract, however. Inter cut with the same flashing images of violence – nuclear explosions, bomb detonations, riots, and the bloody aftermath of some of the SWF's most violent matches – are much more introspective images. These include an old and broken wrestling ring, a smear of black blood on a white concrete wall, a rusty cage, then a dusty empty country road, and so on. These images seem to be intended to convey some of the emotions of “The Forsaken”... but it gives away little... Grade: A
Phil Vibert: Don't even ask, Duane. The action is relatively slow and methodical, plenty of quality mat wrestling with holds that are countered and re-countered. The crowd stays involved, as it is obvious that they are watching two of the best at this. Neither man carries the advantage for too long, things moving back and forth. The match gradually builds in pace and intensity, things moving quicker. The mat-based contest of holds seems to natural evolve into a match based around the athleticism of both men, as they perfectly combine aerial attacks with the mat wrestling. Stone gets a big appreciative reaction from the fans when he leaps from the mat to the top turnbuckle directly, to spin around and drop a big elbow on a prone Holmes. A short time later, Holmes shows off his own impressive athleticism by skinning the cat back into the ring, allowing him to attack the “Lord of the Ring” from behind. With the pair obviously evenly matched, Stone smartly takes the match to somewhere he'll have an advantage – brawling. He begins to press the action with more standard attacks, throwing in plenty of punches, and he has Holmes reeling. After delivering a big Stone Back Breaker, the SWF newcomer goes through his Stone Ankle Stomp sequence to set up his Stone Ankle Stretch. Holmes holds out for longer than anyone has thus far, but he ends up tapping out. Stone extends a hand to Holmes after the match, who looks at it and then hobbles away. Dan Stone Jr Wins at 15:52 via Submission Grade: A
Phil Vibert: Four and oh.
Steve Frehley + Ray Diaz In-Ring Promo The duo of Steve Frehley and Ray Diaz have never been particularly the happy-smiling types, but the intense pair look somewhere just beyond angry as they come down to the ring to Frehley's intense music. The crowd reaction for Frehley, which has been fairly split for months, is now notably more negative than positive. The Dark Destroyer takes the microphone, and paces the ring for a moment before he says anything. Steve Frehley: As I've said before, The Dark Destroyer prefers deeds to words. But some things need to be said. That's just he way it is. The crowd doesn't react much. Diaz nods his agreement while Frehley paces some more. Steve Frehley: When I first came to the Supreme Wrestling Federation, I cared only about one thing. It wasn't about my opponents and it wasn't about you fans. I only cared about destroying things. Destroying people. That's all I did. I watched those around me make a ton of money and live a life of luxury. They got treatment I never asked for and I didn't get. Didn't care. Then I made the mistake of starting to care about what people thought. First some guys in the back who made me think they were my friends. Then you fans. But I've corrected that mistake. I don't care if you fans don't like it. That's just the way it is. The fans boo now. The “new” Frehley is certainly not aiming to win their love. Steve Frehley: Ray and I had a little chat recently. He pointed out something that I knew, but chose to ignore up to that point. He pointed out that you only get so long in this business. That the ride can end at any time. So you gotta get what you can while you can, and you better enjoy it. Its a fact that I will not ignore any more. So its time for Steve Frehley to get his, too. More boos. Steve Frehley: Don't get it twisted. This ain't about green. It ain't about greed. Its about being treated the way I should be treated. No more looking up at other guys here in the SWF to see what they got that I don't. No more economy class. No more waiting in line... Frehley stares hard into the camera, his intensity melting through the lens. Steve Frehley: No more living vicariously. The former SWF World Heavyweight champion allows that to sink in. For the fans who actually understand what the word “vicariously” means, at least. Steve Frehley: I have three offers right now. Three offers from people who want to manage me. Guide my career. Make sure I get what I deserve. Not sure that I need that kind of help. Not sure that I don't. One week from tonight, I'll make my decision. The Dark Destroyer doesn't name those with the “offers” by name, but its very clear who he means. The fans boo, though its not clear whether its at Frehley, those three, or just the general thought of him lumping in with one of them. Steve Frehley: From this point on, Ray and me, we get ours. Its that simple. Tomorrow night, I start by tearing apart Troy Tornado. Then I'm going to that shiny belt from Christian Faith. All you fans best get used to the Days of Frehley. Because they are coming. That's just the way it is. Frehley drops the microphone and exists the ring with Diaz in tow. Grade: A
Duane Fry: The Days of Frehley? That sounds ominou.... Hey, what the hell? Phil Vibert: Money, get the hell out of here. Rich Money: Sorry boys, the booth needs some real quality for this match. It needs more... money... Phil Vibert: I don't give a damn! Get out of the booth! Rich Money: Vibert, don't make me suplex you out of this booth. Because we both know I will. Phil Vibert: …....
Remo & Ace vs Warrior Faith With Rich Money forcibly taking over Melanie Florence's spot in the announcing booth, this match has a different edge. The in-ring action is quick-paced and hard-hitting from the very start, with no gradual built like the previous match. Neither team has enough experience together to really offer high-quality teamwork and quick-tag action, but there is obviously some good timing between Faith and Morrisette. The match highlights something different for each worker – the power of Remo, the tenacity of Faith, the fearlessness of Morrisette and the overtly heelish approach of Newton. The youngster holds his own, yet earns the hatred of the fans by stalling, whining, begging for mercy, and then stalling some more so he can confer with Remo outside the ring. All of this while Money endlessly sings Newton's praises on commentary. The face duo switch things up a bit, by being the ones to cut off the ring and isolate an opponent, with Newton being the obvious choice. The SWF Generations champion sells everything beautiful, bumping all over the place. Remo has to jump in several times to save Newton on pin attempts. It takes a low blow to Morrisette for Newton to make the hot tag, Remo charging into the ring to a big negative reaction from the fans. He batters Faith, then Morrisette for a long while. Faith finally comes back in to intervene, getting admonished by referee Ric Young as he's not the legal man. Yet Faith and Remo end up going blow-for-blow in the middle of the ring for a good long time, the fans going crazy. Faith has to disengage to avoid being disqualified, but it gives Morrisette a chance to recover. The former man-lobster battles back against Remo, the crowd loving it. Both men tag their partners in, but their battle continues outside the ring. Newton goes for a low blow on Faith when the referee isn't looking, but Faith is cautious and blocks it, then chasing the youngster around the ring while wagging his finger. The grows louder as Faith punishes the youngster, first with a couple of flying shoulder blocks, then a big series of Machine Gun Faith Hammers, with the Stalling Atomic Drop that always proceeds the Leap of Faith. The crowd fairly much takes the roof off the place as Faith hits the big avalanche and then pins Newton, the ref counting out the three as Remo finally realizes that Newton is in trouble and trying to intervene in time. He doesn't, and the face duo get the big win. Christian Faith Wins at 16:17 via Pinfall Grade: A
Duane Fry: Why, Money, I'm pretty sure your boys just lost! Rich Money: You can't win them all, Fry. I'll win tomorrow night and that's all that matters. Phil Vibert: You sure about that? Rich Money: Very. I'm money, remember. The random thoughts... -back-to-back A* TV shows in a single week is a first. Not shocking, though, as I loaded down both shows with quality more than necessary, figuring on at least an A for both. I have no need to load up shows like that, but its tough not to. Holmes-Stone was a main event match by itself, and would've made for a great PPV match even, but I wanted DSJ to get a very solid win heading into the pay per view. Could have done more typical "go home" shows heading into Christmas Clash, but this felt more fun. -both Frehley and Diaz turned heel in that segment (which was rated on Entertainment for Frehley, Overness for Diaz, BTW). Given that Frehley has been a "tweener" since about June, it was just a matter of when to go through with the actual turn. I figured that telling the fans that he doesn't care about them anymore and "wants to get his" would be a good enough way to finish off a turn that was already underway. In-game, it was a "complete" success. Which didn't change Frehley's overness or momentum at all. I think it bumped up Diaz's momentum a bit. -Doing the write-ups for the tag team main event and the Holmes-Stone semi main event, I was torn about how detailed to get. I was tempted to get into PPV-level detail for either or both, but I held back a bit. -speaking of pay per views, its booked and and I can't wait to get it written up. I should have the preview up sometime today. I think its gonna be another really fun one... but then, I am biased...
Well, jesus you're an A* machine, Pa. ;) Loved the show. I'm just starting to get back into reading your latest posts. Great stuff man. I'm excited to see what comes of "The Forsaken" thing... Could be very cool. Cheers.
Thanks. Its weird to get to a point where you are kinda "meh" about seeing an A* show, let alone two in a row. But its kinda that that point. I claimed at the start of the diary that show grades and such weren't that important - that this was meant to be about the storylines and characters. Guess that's really true at this point. Glad you are still reading and enjoying. Always good to hear. The Forsaken deal is turning out to be more fun than I expected.

SWF Christmas Clash 2008 Preview
Thursday, Week 2, December 2008 After an unforgettable 2008 year in the Supreme Wrestling Federation, it all comes to this. Two brands. Two champions. One more pay per view. And one epic clash. New Jersey's Greenwalt Dome plays host to the final pay per view of the year for the SWF. There are still a few tickets remaining for what promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime show. Its the gift that every wrestling fan wants and no one wants to miss out on. Making this pay per view rather unique is the series of cross-brand matches that have been arranged by General Managers Eric Eisen and Eric Tyler. Its the kind of cross-brand extravaganza that we may not see again for a long time... if ever. The show is guaranteed to start with a bang, as Troy Tornado takes on "The Dark Destroyer" Steve Frehley. The former SWF World Heavyweight champion Frehley has looked much like his old self of late, and GM Eric Tyler announced last night on SWF Legends that a Frehley victory will earn him a title shot against Christian Faith. With so much on the line, Frehley could be unstoppable. An interesting subplot to this match is that Tornado and Frehley both started out on the Legends brand when the brand split was added, but never faced each other in a match after the split. The Sky Club Division is one of the great aspects of the Legends brand that makes it unique. The addition made by Phil Vibert provided a solid home for the high fliers. Two of the best since the start of the division have been Bart Biggz and SWF Shooting Star champion Acid. The masked daredevil Acid made quite an impact, winning the belt in his first match and dominating the division since. But Biggz has a new-found edge and seems determined... The lone tag team match on the card is a grudge match. Sara Silver's Silverback's are mercenary wrestlers for hire, and someone decided to hire them to harass Team Gilmore. Having had enough, Angry Gilmore threw out the challenge. So we now have two of the most talented tag teams in the SWF facing off - the New Wave against The Silverback's. Will even a New Wave victory be enough to end the harassment? Two former SWF North American champions. Two diverse talents. A history between them. A veteran Supreme Legend and one of the stars of Generation Supreme. How could all that not interest fans? Chris Morrisette taking on Marc DuBois is a match that could steal the show. The kind of match that could make the show watchable all by itself... In what promises to be a brawling war, two of the biggest men in the Supreme Wrestling Federation face off. The masked monster Payne has been the scourge of the Supreme brand since he first appeared, including his notorious attack on Richard Eisen. Facing Payne will be the powerful and athletic former DaVE star, Big Cat Brandon. This one is going to be nearly 700 pounds of violence in the ring. One of the most interesting cross-brand matches is the showdown between Angry Gilmore and Rocky Golden. Both are title hopefuls on their respective brands, so the outcome of this match could have consequences on the top title contender status. The Canadian middleweight Gilmore seems rather unhappy to be facing Golden, and one has to be concerned that he could be looking past this match towards another shot at SWF World Heavyweight champion Rich Money. When you have a nickname like "Lord of the Ring", you know someone has to be talented in the squared circle. Dan Stone Jr is somewhere beyond talented. He might just be the most talented wrestler of his generation. He will have an opportunity to add to his legacy as he takes on longtime nemesis Bloodstone, with the SWF Legends championship on the line. The submission specialist Bloodstone has already made a big impact on the SWF Legends brand as part of the Golden Faction stable. This one should be a great match between technicians. Four of the finest Generation Supreme talents will be on display, with the SWF North American championship up for grabs. Champion Antonio Marquez has the tough task of trying to retain his belt, especially with such talented opponents. Two of the three challengers are champions in their own rights. Sean Deeley is one of half of the SWF World Tag Team champions. Ace Newton still holds the SWF Generations champion. Randy Bumfhole currently holds no gold, but is a two-time co-holder of the World Tag Team belts. If you want to see the future of the Supreme Wrestling Federation, this is your chance. One of the ultimate battles of "young versus old" will be Pistol Pete Hall taking on Remo. The big cowboy is nearly twice the age of the "Alpha Dog". The 47-year old Hall has become a fan favorite since joining the Legends brand, his humble attitude and hard-nosed approach making fans forget his age. There isn't much "humble" about the 26-year old heavyweight Remo, a powerfully athletic talent who would easily be the number one contender for the SWF World Heavyweight title if he wasn't best friends with champion Rich Money. During his long reign as SWF World Heavyweight champion, Jack Bruce was perhaps the most beloved fan favorite in the Supreme Wrestling Federation. The Long Island Angel and his "Show Time" approach thrilled fans match after match, promo after promo. Everything changed when Sean McFly returned to the SWF at Under Control 2008. You can trace this feud back to Rich Money, who convinced "The American Tiger" that he couldn't survive in the contemporary without help, so McFly turned to Bruce. With some help from Money, Bruce ended up turning on McFly at the Break Like the Wind 2008 pay per view. Not about to let such a betrayal go, McFly asked for the match, with Bruce asking it to be a No Disqualification match to ensure the feud ends here. These two look to be going to war. The main event. The big one. The clash. Champion versus champion. The best of the best. The head. The head? The head. The detached head from Christian Faith's statue that stands in the lobby of Supreme One headquarters in Providence might be the strangest object ever to be contested over in a match in the Supreme Wrestling Federation. As if having the two top wrestlers in the SWF facing each other isn't enough by itself... This is a unique situation, as it is not simply the two top names, but the two figureheads of the two brands that currently make up the SWF. Its the kind of clash that may never happen again. Both men have spent the year 2008 at the top of the games. The 42-year old Faith seems have found a second peak, losing just 5 times through the year and winning the SWF Supreme Championship at The Supreme Challenge 28. Nearly a decade younger, "Hard Cash" Rich Money is his prime, having lost just four times and having reigned as the SWF World Heavyweight champion since The Supreme Challenge in July. Money is notorious for talking big, but he's been able to back it up in the wrestling ring. That said, Christian Faith had made a career out of overcoming the odds to find a way to win. Okay, I've decided to throw something fun out there for the pay per view, in regards to predictions. Blatantly stealing an idea from FINisher here (and possibly others), but whoever gets the most prections correct will get a chance to make a special request for the diary. Althought there will be some obvious limitations, they will have the option of reqesting something they would like to see - TV match, specific promo, topic for a Random Thoughts segment, etc. I may give out multiple "prizes" if more than one person end up with a winning percentage, though extra "poitns" may be awarded for adding explanations to the picks... Three other quick notes. One, nominations for the end of the year awards remain open. So if you like something enough off this PPV or any shows through the end of the year, you can still nominate it, even if you've already nominated something in that category. Two, voting remains open for the PPV change options. I've received more votes than expected but have yet to make a decision. Three, its Diary of the Month time, so I would like to encourage any readers who have yet to vote in the three categories to do so. Vote for the diary you enjoy most, whehter its Gen-S or not... Just make sure to vote.

Steve Frehley vs Troy Tornado As awesome as Troy Tornado is, a loss here seems plausible. Definately an interesting match up, but I pretty much called for Frehley/Faith to occur after this event, simply due to the Legend's brand not quite having as many heel main eventers as a face champion would need. Frehley gets some momentum heading into that here. Bart Biggz vs Acid for the SWF Shooting Star Championship Acid's held that title for quite a while. This feels like a good time to change it's hands, and a title win here could be good for both Biggz and the Shooting Star Title. The New Wave vs The Silverbacks The default TCW Tag Team feud, come to life on SWF Pay-Per-View! THE GREATEST TAG TEAM IN THE WORLD TODAY takes this one. Marc DuBois vs Chris Morrisette Perhaps leading up to a heel turn for Morrisette, to further add to the Legends brand challengers to Faith, I can definately see Morrisette as being the kind of guy that would put DuBois over. Could be wrong, but I see it as a possibility. Big Cat Brandon vs Payne BCB has more going for him, and much more of a future then Baine. See him getting a hard fought, perhaps a DQ, win here. Rocky Golden vs Angry Gilmore Gilmore simply deserves this more. Plus, he'll probably be back in the World Title picture after this. Dan Stone Jr vs Bloodstone for the SWF Legends Championship Definately a fitting champion, and a fine way to end Bloodstone's very long Legend's title reign. Sean Deeley vs Randy Bumfhole vs Ace Newton vs Antonio Marquez for the SWF North American Championship Could very easily be wrong on this one, but becoming a double champion certainly seems like a good move to put over one of your destined future World Champions. Pistol Pete Hall vs Remo PPH has looked strong since coming in, but not near enough for me to be calling a Remo loss. Jack Bruce vs Sean McFly in a No Disqualification Match Mainly to keep the feud going, but also partially because of my main event pick. Christian Faith vs Rich Money Huge toss-up here, but since the belt's not on the line, Money losing doesn't take much, if anything, from him. Whereas Faith has his head on the line, quite literally. :p Since I don't see this cross-brand feud continuing past the PPV, Faith wins his head back here. Hmm...three title changes called there. That could definately be wrong, but this seems like an Epic enough show to call for that many changes. Really stacked card here.

Steve Frehley vs Troy Tornado Frehley is being built as THE major threat to Christian Faith on the Legends Brand and even though Tornado is amongst the pack chasing Rich Money for the World Title, Frehley is pretty much a shoe in to take this. Bart Biggz vs Acid for the SWF Shooting Star Championship Acid holds onto the belt, but Biggz won't give up the dream after this. The New Wave vs The Silverbacks Could go either way but I think the New Wave take this to strenghten their claims for a Tag Team Title shot Marc DuBois vs Chris Morrisette I agree with my predicting partner in crime Zeel, this is the sort of match where Morrisette could put DuBois over. I do feel that Morrisette needs a heel turn if he is going to get amongst the title hunt but I don't see it happening for a while yet. Big Cat Brandon vs Payne As Zeel said Big Cat has more upside. Payne's basically the monster heel who beats up on the mid-card and below but loses the big matches. Rocky Golden vs Angry Gilmore You may surprise us and Golden flukes a win here, but yeah Gilmore deserves this more and he'll be back in the World Title hunt on the Supreme Brand for the new year. Golden's the braggart who thinks he's the greatest thing ever but doesn't really back it up. Dan Stone Jr vs Bloodstone for the SWF Legends Championship I'll go for what may be a bit of a shock result, with Bloodstone retaining the Legends belt and with Golden failing to win his big match it could create more tension within the Golden Faction with Bloodstone actually getting the job done and Golden once again failing on the big stage. Sean Deeley vs Randy Bumfhole vs Ace Newton vs Antonio Marquez for the SWF North American Championship The Newton double champion thing is enticing but I see Marquez losing this belt one on one. Pistol Pete Hall vs Remo Pete's been in a revelation in his renaissance run but at some point down the line Remo will be after the World Title and I think you'll keep him strong Jack Bruce vs Sean McFly in a No Disqualification Match No DQ, one of them has a bunch of muscle following him around, I don't think this is going to be much of a fair fight, yeah Bruce takes this to keep the feud going and with possibilites of McFly wanting revenge on the whole of Bruce's Entourage..this is a great secondary feud on the Supreme Brand that could run for a good while yet. Christian Faith vs Rich Money Agree with Zeel again, I don't see this cross brand feud rolling on beyond this match either, so Faith wins his head back and a loss to Faith is hardly going to hurt Money's standing and besides 'Hard Cash' will probably have an eloquently put excuse for the loss on the first Supreme TV of the new year.

Damn, you are PPV's are way harder to predict than your TV matches. Anyway... Steve Frehley vs Troy Tornado You aren't going to the turn, and then give a loss. Bart Biggz vs Acid for the SWF Shooting Star Championship This one's tough, but Bart Biggz seems like he's line for a push. He deserves it. The New Wave vs The Silverbacks Momentum is on their side. Marc DuBois vs Chris Morrisette Hard to say. But I think Chris Morrisette needs it more than Dubois does. Big Cat Brandon vs Payne Payne: Jobber to the Main Eventers. Rocky Golden vs Angry Gilmore Angry Gilmore is probably more useful. Dan Stone Jr. vs Johnny Bloodstone The makings of a world champion. Sean Deeley vs Randy Bumfhole vs Ace Newton vs Antonio Marquez for the SWF North American Championship Hard to say on this one too. If you intend to push Marquez higher, than I'm going to say he will lose, but I get the feeling you are satisfied with him, for now. Pistol Pete Hall vs Remo Hard again. Just going with the one with more storyline momentum. Jack Bruce vs Sean McFly in a No Disqualification Match Sean McFly won't be in the title picture for a while. Neither will be Jack Bruce. Jack Bruce wins because he needs it more. Christian Faith vs Rich Money Rich Money can't be taken down, at least not now.

Troubles with logging in have prevented me from predicting in this awesome diary but I must say that I've been following it for a very long time. Seems that you've cemented Rich Money as THE star in your company, and rightfully so, and the way you handled the Money/Remo interaction makes it that much harder to predict when will any of them turn against each other, if they'll even turn at all, so kudos to you. Christmas Clash seems to be one of your most stacked cards yet, even without the world titles on the line, can't wait to see it. Steve Frehley vs Troy Tornado Gonna go with Frehley for the reasons mentioned by the other posters: a recent heel turn and an obvious gradul build as the new threat to Faith should warrant a momentum win here against a top name. Bart Biggz vs Acid for the SWF Shooting Star Championship Acid should move on to bigger things imo, the Shooting Star Championship is more on Biggz level. The New Wave vs The Silverbacks The Silverbacks need a big win here, and I think they'll get it. Marc DuBois vs Chris Morrisette Morrisette doesn't need the win as much as DuBois, it could catapult him into world title contendency, as Morrisette is the perfect main event gatekeeper. Big Cat Brandon vs Payne Big Cat...Big Cat...definitely Big Cat... Rocky Golden vs Angry Gilmore I'm gonna bet on Golden here, perhaps with some interference, or DQ... Dan Stone Jr vs Bloodstone for the SWF Legends Championship Everything seems to have culminated on Bloodstone losing the title here, he's had a lenghty rein, but Stone Jr is the real legend, besides, Bloodstone is World Title material, excellent skills, good charisma, and his mic skills and acting aren't bad, and after a year of stable promos alongside Golden, he must have improved something on that department. Sean Deeley vs Randy Bumfhole vs Ace Newton vs Antonio Marquez for the SWF North American Championship Bumfhole seems to be the more popular of the two brothers (looked at the front page) and it seems to be time to shake things up in the mid card titles and Bumfhole is the only contender who doesn't already have a title. Pistol Pete Hall vs Remo Pistol Pete is no match for Remo, no matter how surprising his run in the Legends brand has been, besides, after losing that tag team match on Legends. Jack Bruce vs Sean McFly in a No Disqualification Match Tough call, but a heel win to kickstart what should be a lenghty and bloody feud Christian Faith vs Rich Money I was inclined to predict a draw, but with the head becoming a factor, and Rich Money's ability to take the loss here and still be the top dog in the SWF taken in consideration, Faith to win and to shrug off the notion of being the secondary champion, as I'm sure that a win over the World champion would deliver some more credibility to the Supreme Championship.
