The move was really impressive from Jones; Altough he is a big guy with a lot of power, so is The Wolverine, so Wolverine crashed down really hard on the mat. Martin and Gonzales tried avoiding going to the outside, as The Future did not favour anyone in the match; Quite the opposity actually. They were more than happy to beat Johnny and Shawn with everything they could get their hands on. Eventually in 14.07 Johnny Martin defeated Shawn Gonzalez by pinfall with the Twist On The Rocks. As the match ended, The Future hit the ring and attacked both wrestlers. Big Cat Brandon and The Wolverine came to the rescue, but could not make the save in time as Gonzales and Martin were busted open badly. Century dismantled Martin from the early going, using some innovative moves on him, including a turnbuckle powerbomb. The Future members gave him weapons from the outside which Century used to inflict more damage on the already bleeding Martin. Finally The Animalz and Hopkirk came to even things out, and a huge brawl started outside the ring. Couple of tables were broken during the fight, including the announce table! In the ring Martin and Century battled it out, when Century made a mistake by trying his finishing move "The Salvation" (Sit-out Powerbomb) too early, as Martin countered the move, lifting him over himself and scoring the pinfall over Century in 9.52. As the match ended, Martin climbed up on the turnbuckle and hit a clumsy Flying Body Press on the six men who were fighting outside as the show ended. Datsun and Morgan put on a nice, solid match in this normal hardcore match. They didn't want to burn the crowd right at the start of the show, but succeeded in getting the crowd fired up for the event. The match itself was a classic good guy - bad buy struggle with a twist as Morgan pin-pointed Datsuns legs troughout the match but in the end did a small mistake: Morgan climbed up to the top rope, a thing which he doesn't do all that often and for a good reason, as it cost him the match as Freddie Datsun defeated Morgan in 15:26 when Datsun hit a top rope Patriot Press to get the pinfall on Morgan. Just after that Jay hit Wolverine with the Fade To Black trough a table. Once again it was Big Cat vs. Jay locking horns. Both fighters were badly cut open by the barbed wire right from the start and it clearly showed as they were quite fatiqued. Jay missed a big clothesline, which enabled Big Cat to connect with the Big Cat Pounce on Jay, sending him out of the ring trough a table in 7.02 to get the win. The Animalz make defence number 1 of their DAVE Tag Team titles. Gonzales with the help of Chase as she interfered, climbing up to the arpon as a distraction which allowed Hill to slam Gonzales trough a table with a beautiful Release German suplex to get the win in 13.53. The crowd started chanting the usual "holy you know what phrase", as the spot was really impressive, but just couldn't save the lackluster of a match. Jones and Martin circled each other for a while as the crowd were chanting "[COLOR=Indigo]Let's go Martin, let's go Jones[/COLOR]". The two big men finally engaged and started trading strikes. Martin got the upper hand at the start with couple of good chops that echoed troughout the arena. Jones relied on the dirty tactics as he hit a thumb to the eye of Martin, and followed that with a low blow. Jones went to get a table from the ringside, but was interrupted by Martin who jumped out of the ring with a nice body press. The wrestlers soon battled it out in the middle of the crowd which got the fans really pumped up as they were so close of the action. Martin and Jones came back to the ringside and tried to hit each other with chairs, but to no avail as they both avoided the swings. Jones pulled Martin from his trunks, sending him face first on the steelsteps, which really busted Martin's forehead open as he crashed down on the steps really hard and right to the sharp corner. Jones goes for the cover! 1.. 2.. 2!! Two-count only! Jones was not surprised of the two-count as he quickly started using the cut to his favor as he started jabbing Martins face with a microphone, and after that with a fork he found lying on the floor. Martins face was a bloody mess at this point and it seemed as if he had trouble seeing properly as the blood was flowing right into his eyes. Jones took the glass table with him into the ring and set it up, and dropped back on the ringside, rolling Martin back to the ring. With some animal instinct Martin snap suplexed Jones trough the glass table in a blink of an eye! Pieces of glass scattered all around the ring and the ringside as the big man went trough the glass with authority! Martin crawls for the cover! 1.. 2.. 2.. 2!! Somehow Jones got his shoulders up. As Jones got up from the mat, it was clearly visible that he landed quite badly on the pieces of glass, as his back was full of cuts and scrapes. Martin started using different backbreakers and slams which really seemed to hurt Jones. Martin tried to always maintain a grip of Jones as he had almost no clear vision. Martin had to improvise, and so he used some technical chain wrestling, eventually doing a figure four leg lock on Jones! Jones got out of the move when he got his hands on a piece of glass and started stabbing Martins left leg with it! The ring was coloured red at this point. Jones started kicking away the shattered glass as he was afraid that he was going to get slammed on it. Jones got out of the ring once again and picked up a bucked filled with thumbtacks. Jones scattered the tacks right in the middle of the ring, and picks up Martin! Futureshoc-! NO! Martin reverses! Could it be? Twist On The Rocks? NO, Jones counters! Martin counters! TWIST ON THE ROCKS ON TOP OF A PILE OF THUMBTACKS!! The crowd jumps up on their feet as Jones is on the ground, grieving in pain as his back is full of thumbtacks and small pieces of glass. Martin is on the ground, breathing heavily. The move took so much out of him, and as the blood pressure went up during the move, blood is now gushing out from his forefead. Martin is crawling towards Jones who's still shaking on top of tacks! Finally, Martin gets his hand over Jones! Cover! 1.. 2.. ... [B]!!![/B] The lights go off!! It's just darkness all around the arena! What's happening!? The crowd is screaming as they don't know what's going on in the ring! There's no sound, no referee counting to three! The lights return! My advice is to scalp the roster and look at bringing in some different names. The Future is a good idea, but Frankie doesn't need so many minions, and you could probably lose Jack Marlowe and a couple of others with no ill effects. As for shows, running more is fine if you've got the money to sustain it. Do what you feel is best in terms of writing, and don't worry about comments: a lot of folk read diaries but don't comment on them.

Yeah, you're right.. 2000 views can't be coming out of nowhere. :p I'm thinking of releasing several low. midcarders with little to nothing popularity. But I don't want to sign all those big names available: Pistol Pete Hall, Corporal Doom, Teddy Flame etc.. Oh well. I've been really busy with work and girlfriend and all. Oddly enough, you say this as I make the move to run two shows a month... In all seriousness, though, I'm not getting a great deal of traction myself - the most recent show excluded, as that seems to have gone bleedin' well. A little more tweaking of your show order would likely help - Frankie nets a C on promos evert time; if you ensure his promo's the last angle run, and it's long enough to affect things, it should help. (Also? If Cahill's Corner has been anything to go by, get him a Menacing monster.) The one thing that would terrify me is the chemistry. I don't think anyone would blame you if you did what Tigerkinney did near the beginning of his FCW diary and 'rebooted' - start a new game and book as you had before, looking for better chemistry.

If you want to restart, be my guess because to be honest I won't start a diary without making sure it's a bad chem fest like this one (on a side note, I think I have a clean file for my future NYCW diary). I'm not the kind of guy who would shy away from a couple of bad chem notes, but it's situations like this that can kill creativity (the most important part of a diary). Though I hope you would go 2,0 like Tigerkinney because I am liking where this is going. Whatever you do, don't totally strip the roster. Adding new guys is great (I do it all the time), but the quickest way to turn me off is to fire all the lesser thans while bring in all the talented people. And Phantom Stranger is right. Use your workers to their fullest potential. If someone can give you angles in the C range, make sure those angles are 6+ minutes to get to maximize your return. I wouldn't worry about the number of shows either. As NYCW I plan to run two shows till I hit Regional and then go to 3 till I can support four. Of course since I've been running NYCW (both default and '97) for a long time and know exactly what my promotion can handle.

Thank you so much guys! This really helped boosting my confidence on this diary. Also it could be down to the fact that I was so used to C+ to A* grades during the WEXXV diary so now the C- looks a bit harsh. All my angles are everytime from 6 to 10 minutes long btw. :) And no, I'm not rebooting, because I'm as far as April, and it would then create totally different grades on the shows, and it could also backfire a bit (If there would then be bad chem in the main events of the shows.) I won't resort to that kind of tactics. I will survive the bad chemisty, and I know it. As far as booking creativity goes: Wait till you see who's the traitor. AND if there's a traitor on The Future's side :P One more thing: I always write in real-time, so-to-speak. I don't book the next show until the previous one is written here in the forums. So it creates a surprise to me also everytime I do a show.
