Question for you: is this based off of that long list I sent to you a few weeks back, or did you fully accept the offer of running a theme you've wanted? Just idle curiosity on my part (and figured I'd ask before the show comes on-air ;) ).

EDIT: Well, that answers my question. Cheers, mate!

Tonight's cacophonous collection of closet classics was inspired by Stuart's theme choice and features:

Japanese lo-fi from CONDOR44

An O'FUNKILLO masterclass in Brazilian funk

Flamenco rock from TRIANA and OJOS DE BRUJO

Compay Segundo's BUENA VISTA SOCIAL CLUB classic

One oF the less recognised movements from KARL JENKIN's Requiem suite

SIGUR ROS at their expansive best

The songwriting brilliance of the one and only STEVIE WONDER

...and this week's overdose features two brilliant album tracks from the greatest exponents of Japanese progressive rock to ever bless the airwaves: KOENJI HYAKKEI.

What connects these seemingly incongruess artists? Tune in or miss out.
