Remianen
I'm looking for someone to do art on my various MMO characters. This isn't a short-term kinda thing though, since there are probably 80 characters I'm looking for work on. As for art style, I value a very polished look (many of the completed pieces will be hung in my house and office), comic style even. Some examples include this and this and the top three on the left here. Something important to note is that, with only two exceptions, all of the characters to be done are female (someone doing a commission for me right now said I should mention that :p). What format you use isn't really important (whether it's digital via poser or photoshop or traditional or paint or whatever), I'm more concerned with the style and look. Some of my favorite artists (in various genres) include Patrick Nagel, J. Scott Campbell, Talent Caldwell, Jim Lee (to a point), Michael Turner (RIP), Joe Quesada, Salvador Larroca, Ron Frenz (only his work on Spider-Girl), and a few others. By game, here's what we're looking at (game - # of characters): EverQuest 1 - 18 EverQuest 2 - 5 City of Heroes/Villains - 36 Warhammer Online - 11 Age of Conan - 4-8 Perfect World International - 3 EVE Online - 2 Tabula Rasa - 3 World of Warcraft - 16(ish) Pirates of the Burning Sea - 4 Vanguard: Saga of Heroes - 8 ...probably a few I'm forgetting. I'm moving into a new house in February of 2010 (*crosses fingers*) so I need art to decorate with. Examples of what I have and/or are looking for are: By David Enciso and Hit me up via PM here or via email. Please include links to examples of your work and how much you charge. :)
Remianen
Still looking. I was talking to a few people but ran into a problem of having too many commissions in the pipeline. That problem's solved so if you think you got skillz, holla at me. :) Oh and I guess I should add Frank Cho, Adam Hughes, and Amanda Conner to the above list of favorite artists. :p
G-Prime
I get Storn Cook to do my stuff, the man's a genius. I'm really big on a friend of mine, Manuel Clavel (his site is here). He's my go to guy but I'm always looking for new perspectives. Most of his most recent stuff on the site was for me (Novashrike, Diamondshrike, Swiftshrike, Flameshrike, and Ravenna, all characters of mine in CoX). Here's the one he just finished for me (it's one of my wizards in EverQuest 1): The man has serious talent. But as I said, I'm always open to new interpretations (as long as you don't make my girls bony and/or flat chested. They're created as 'real women' with real physical dimensions). BurningHamster
Oh man, I can think of a bunch of stuff to call you after seeing this thread, Remi. Patron of the arts isn't exactly one of them though.

BurningHamster
I think the method to the madness may be to cover your walls in all your MMO characters as that is the only way you can remember all 1,237 of them Am I close?

The first part is correct. I do plan to have most of these framed and hung (replacing my Patrick Nagel prints). The second part, however, is not. I remember every last one of them (well, at least for the games I give a flip about). I could give the entire backstory on every one of my characters. Heck, I have lineages worked out for my EQ1 characters (going back two generations for most). But yeah, close enough.
Remianen
Newest piece, again by Manuel Clavell. My druid from EQ1, Maurasi: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v291/Kension/EQ1/Maurasi/maurasi_preview.jpg Yeah, that's what I'm talkin' 'bout. Now to get him to do Glitter, my Shadowknight. juggaloninjalee
I know a guy who is a superb artist. His name is Mike Mumah. http://mumah.deviantart.com/ He seems to have reasonable pricing.
moon_lit_tears
Remi The Wizard from EQ 1 is kinda hot. I'd love a copy of that picture. Just sayin... Now Petawatt I'd have redone. To me her face looks rather manly and just really ot fitting the rest of her.

To me her face looks rather manly and just really ot fitting the rest of her. I have to say that I wasn't 100% thrilled about the Petawatt piece but not for that reason. I felt her upper body was a bit too squat which really didn't fit the angular type of frame of the character. But it's on Manuel's queue to have a go at so we'll fix it eventually. I love that guy. He's the only artist I know who would actually undertake the project of doing a huge (110 character) group picture, and totally knocking it out of the park. It's also the first time I've seen a fansite community put together and pay for something like that to be made (five months at a total cost of over 5 grand). (I'm smack dab in the center, the redhead with the uncomfortable look on her face (there's a shark-man behind her!), #52, Spiritshrike) I sent a message to Mike Mumah to see if he's taking commissions. Waiting to hear back. Thanks!
