All I can say is WOW! Great dynasty! Like the quick pace of it to how you're already at GAB, gotta agree with some of what the other guys said though. Your main event titles are changing around so fast it just seems sorta...odd, don't ask me why but that's just my opinion. KUTGW!

ECW Week 1 July 2009:

ECW opens with Jack Swagger in the ring, he issues a challenge to Umaga, but Teddy Long interrupts Swagger, and tells him that Mark Henry has already requested a match with Swagger tonight, and the two will do battle...right now.

1.) Jack Swagger (w/Tony Atlas) beat Mark Henry in 3:52 with a DDT. B-

A graphic announces that tonight, Rey Mysterio will team up with R-Truth to take on Chavo Guerrero and Paul Burchill.

A video package plays, hyping the upcoming Great American Bash Pay-Per-View, focusing on Batista defending his World Heavyweight Championship.

2.) Umaga beat DJ Gabriel (w/Alicia Fox) in 0:57 with a Samoan Spike. C-

Jack Swagger approaches Teddy Long about an ECW Championship match next week, and Teddy tells him that it's out of the question, because Umaga will be facing R-Truth next week in a non-title match. Swagger asks what he's gotta do to get a title shot, Long says that maybe if Swagger would quit complaining, and start showing that he deserves a title shot, maybe he'd get one.

A graphic tells us that our main event of Mysterio/R-Truth vs. Chavo/Burchill is up next!

3.) Rey Mysterio and R-Truth vs. Chavo Guerrero and Paul Burchill (w/Katie Lea Burchill) went to a no-contest at 18:43 when Christian interfered, attacking all four men with a chair. A

Christian cuts a promo, and says he's sick of not being talked about, and that he'll make an example out of every member of the ECW Roster until Teddy Long gives him a title shot. Christian stood in the ring with a smirk on his face as the show ended.

QUICK RESULTS:

Jack Swagger beat Mark Henry

Umaga beat DJ Gabriel; will face R-Truth next week in non-title action

Rey Mysterio and R-Truth vs. Chavo Guerrero and Paul Burchill went to a no-contest; Christian interfered and attacked all four men.

Monday Night RAW Week 3 July 2009:

Stephanie McMahon opens RAW by telling everyone that Chris Jericho suffered a severe concussion last week at the hands of Randy Orton, and is out indefinitely with no sign of him returning soon. Randy Orton interrupts and asks who the hell cares about Chris Jericho anyways. Stephanie says that Orton may not have any regard for his fellow RAW Superstars, but they also have no regard for his safety either. She announces that tonight on RAW, Randy Orton will face off against The Undertaker in the main event. Orton looks absolutely shocked as we go to commercial.

Stephanie McMahon is in her office when she's approached by John Cena. Cena asks her what she wanted to see him about. Stephanie says that she notices Cena has no match scheduled next Sunday at the Great American Bash. Cena says that she's correct. John Bradshaw Layfield interrupts Cena, saying that Cena doesn't even deserve to be on the show, considering he choked in his opportunity to become World Heavyweight Champion back at Night of Champions. Cena corrects Bradshaw, saying that Bradshaw was the one to take the pinfall in that match, and yet again the next night. Bradshaw says he ought to drop Cena right where he stands. Stephanie says that she had another match planned for both of them at The Great American Bash, but this will work just fine. Cena says, "See you next Sunday" before leaving.

A graphic shows us that up next...MVP will face off against DH Smith in non-title action!

1.) Montel Vontavious Porter beat DH Smith (w/Cody Rhodes) in 3:17 with the Drive-By. C+

We're taken backstage to Shawn Michaels, who is approached by Kane. Kane says that he'll try his best to be impartial next Sunday, but he wants Michaels' word that they're on the same page. Michaels says that he's beaten the Undertaker on his own more times than anyone, and doesn't need Kane's help. Michaels then walks away.

As the heel Divas celebrate, we're taken back to last week when Randy Orton head punted Chris Jericho to win a title shot next Sunday at The Great American Bash. We then see Orton backstage with DH Smith and Cody Rhodes, who are talking to Orton about his match later tonight with The Undertaker. Orton says that he doesn't need the two of them to beat The Undertaker, and that tonight, he's going out there alone.

A graphic tells us that we'll see Batista collide with Ted DiBiase later tonight!

But up next, we'll see John Morrison team up with John Bradshaw Layfield to take on John Cena and Kofi Kingston.

Orton attempted to continue the assault, but DiBiase ran him off. DiBiase helped Batista up and handed him the World Heavyweight Championship, but Batista shoved DiBiase off and left the ring.

We then see a graphic saying that The Undertaker will take on Randy Orton...next!

5.) The Undertaker vs. Randy Orton went to a no contest at 21:11 when Kane, Cody Rhodes, and DH Smith interfered. A

With the odds stacked at 4 against 1, Undertaker started to fight back until Shawn Michaels rushed the ring to aid Undertaker, but the numbers proved to be too much for both of them until Batista rushed the ring and cleaned house on the heels. WWE Presents The Great American Bash; July 26th 2009 (Sunday Week 4) from the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, PA:

0.) WWE.com Exclusive Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship - Matt Hardy and Gregory Helms beat Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder in 6:28 when Matt used the Side Effect on Hawkins to win the championship. B+

The Pay-Per-View opened with footage of Great American Bash main events such as Dusty/Flair in the cage, and the first War Games match before we went to an amazing pyrotechnic display as the announcers ran down tonight's card.

1.) ECW Championship - Rey Mysterio beat Umaga in 5:28 with a Seated Senton. This was a good opener, nothing too special, though. Kinda sucks that Umaga didn't get a longer run with the belt, but he was mad over with the crowd. He hit the Samoan Spike, but the ref was down from Mysterio missing his first Seated Senton attempt. Mysterio offered Umaga a handshake after the match, but Umaga just left the ring to a mixed reaction. B+

We go backstage to Jeff Hardy, who is in his locker room as his brother Matt approaches and wishes Jeff good luck, and says by the end of the night, the two of them are going to leave with Championship gold.

A video package played for SummerSlam in 4 weeks, with a Summer Blockbuster theme, focusing on Batista, Cena, Triple H, and Undertaker.

2.) Melina, Eve, Candice, Kelly Kelly, and Maria beat Mickie James, Michelle McCool, Natalya, Beth Phoenix, and Maryse in 4:44 when Melina used the Last Call on James. This was pretty much your standard Divas match, just a little longer than it needed to be. The crowd wasn't so interested in the match as they were the scantly clad women on the apron. Decent reaction when Melina won. D-

As the face Divas celebrated, we're taken back to last week on RAW, when John Cena and The Undertaker went to a double DQ with JBL and Kane. The announcers say that the winner of Cena and JBL will face Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam.

We then go to Bradshaw, who is approached by John Morrison, who tells Bradshaw that he's taken care of everything, that Bradshaw has nothing to worry about. Bradshaw says, "Good", and walks away.

3.) Winner will face Batista or Randy Orton at SummerSlam for the World Heavyweight Championship - John Cena beat John Bradshaw Layfield in 10:18 with the Attitude Adjustment after John Morrison missed Cena, hitting Bradshaw with the Nitro Blast. A great match from these two, and the crowd was on edge the entire match, hoping that we'd possibly see a sequel to last year's classic Cena/Batista match at SummerSlam, and they got their wish. Morrison's Nitro Blast hit Bradshaw, Morrison was then met with an Attitude Adjustment, as was Bradshaw. A

As Cena celebrated, we see a recap of the events that have lead us to Big Show vs. Edge.

4.) Edge beat The Big Show in 9:57 with a spear following a chair shot. This match was alright, but the Extreme Rules was definitely more entertaining. Show was just off tonight, which is rare, but needless to say this match didn't steal the show. Crowd was mad that Edge picked up the victory.

We're taken to a video package for SummerSlam in 4 weeks, with a Summer Blockbuster theme, focusing on Batista, Cena, Triple H, and Undertaker.

We see a video package of what's lead us to Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker.

5.) Kane is the Guest Referee - The Undertaker beat Shawn Michaels in 19:32 with a Tombstone Piledriver after Kane used a chokeslam on Michaels. This was a great match from these two legends, the crowd was dead split 50/50 as to who they wanted to win. Michaels hit the Sweet Chin Music, but Kane picked him up and hit HBK with a chokeslam, setting up the finish. Oddly enough, Kane nor Taker got booed for this. A*

As Taker and Kane make their way back up the ramp, we're taken to a recap of the CM Punk/Vladimir Kozlov cage match on SmackDown. Punk was standing by with Eve, who asked if Punk thinks the odds are stacked against him. Punk says he doesn't believe in odds, and that tonight, he's going to prove all the naysayers wrong.

6.) WWE Intercontinental Championship No Disqualification Match - CM Punk beat Vladimir Kozlov in 6:32 with a Go To Sleep. A decent match, but Kozlov definitely dragged it down. I think they should have saved the cage match for tonight, but that's probably just me. Crowd didn't seem so into it either. C+

Triple H is in his locker room. A beat up Shawn Michaels walks in, and says that the two of them need to talk.

We see a recap of the WWE Championship Champions of Champions match from Night of Champions, and then the Beat the Clock Matches, and the Pick Your Poison Matches.

7.) WWE Championship - Evan Bourne beat Triple H and Jeff Hardy in 12:29 when Bourne used an Air Bourne on Hardy following a Pedigree from Triple H. This match is, without a doubt, the biggest shocker of 2009, because if anyone was going to beat Triple H for the belt, you'd have thought it would be Jeff Hardy. The finish was insane, and the crowd POPPED for it. Triple H had the belt for two months, and you'd figure after everything he'd went through in that reign (matches with Umaga, as well as the Champion of Champions match) that he'd be able to deal with these two, but he just couldn't. After the match, Triple H and Bourne shook hands, and Triple H said that he had Bourne's number. A*

We're taken to a video package for SummerSlam in 4 weeks, with a Summer Blockbuster theme, focusing on Batista, Cena, Triple H, and Undertaker.

A video package of the Batista/Orton saga played, focusing on their days in Evolution, to their match at Armageddon 2008, to the recent showdowns between the two leading into this match.

8.) World Heavyweight Championship - Batista beat Randy Orton in 22:15 with a Batista Bomb. A great main event, but I was thinking Orton was going to win here. Batista was in full form tonight, and you just got the feeling that he actually wanted to work. Orton hit an RKO for a two count. The ref got knocked down by a Batista spear, and Orton swung a chair. Batista ducked, hit the spinebuster and shook the ropes. DH Smith and Cody Rhodes tried to interfere, but were taken down by The Animal. Batista hit the Batista Bomb, and got the three as the crowd erupted.

As Batista celebrated, the announcers hyped Cena/Batista II as we ended the show.

QUICK RESULTS:

Matt Hardy and Gregory Helms beat WWE Tag Team Champions Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder to win the championship

Rey Mysterio beat ECW Champion Umaga to win the championship

We come back to RAW with Todd Grisham and Stephanie McMahon in the ring. They announce Cena and Batista, who both come to the ring to huge ovations from the crowd. Stephanie explains that this contract is for a regular singles match, and it's going to be for Batista's World Heavyweight Championship. Cena signs first, and passes the contract to Batista, who signs. When Grisham asks if either of them have any comments for the fans, Cena says that it's fitting that this match happens the same place it all started - SummerSlam. The only difference is that this year, Cena is walking out the winner. Batista says that the only way Cena is leaving Los Angeles with the World Heavyweight Championship is over Batista's dead body. 4.) The Brothers of Destruction beat Cryme Tyme in 8:22 when The Undertaker made Shad submit to the Devil's Gate. C-

While Kane and Undertaker were celebrating, Shawn Michaels interrupted them, and said that it's not over. Shawn says that he wants BOTH of them at SummerSlam, in a tag match. Kane nods, signaling that the two of them agree. Shawn says that their match will be a first-time-ever occurrence - The Brothers of Destruction vs......D-Generation X! The crowd exploded as Michaels is shown with a smirk on his face before we go to commercial break.

We come back to RAW to see that next week on RAW, Melina will face Mickie James for the WWE Women's Championship.

Batista is shown in his locker room when he's approached by John Cena. Cena tells Batista to take it easy tonight, he doesn't want Batista getting blown up before SummerSlam. Batista says no worries, he just hopes that Cena can keep up. The two are face to face as we go to another commercial break.

5.) Batista and John Cena beat DH Smith and Randy Orton (w/Cody Rhodes) in 24:15 when Cena used the Attitude Adjustment on Smith. A

After the match, Batista was stalking Cena, basically signaling for the spinebuster. Cena turned around, and Batista stopped dead in his tracks. The two had a staredown as we went off the air.

Melina beat WWE Women's Champion Mickie James; will have a title shot next week

Ted DiBiase beat WWE United States Champion MVP to win the championship

ECW Week 1 August 2009:

The show opens with Christian in the ring. He tells Teddy Long to come out here now, and Teddy Long makes his way out. Christian says that he wants a title shot tonight. Teddy Long says that it's not possible. Christian asks why the hell it isn't possible. Teddy then says that Rey Mysterio is in a tag team main event tonight. Christian says that either Teddy changes the match, or he's not leaving the ring. Teddy says that's unfortunate, so he'll give Christian a match right now.

1.) Umaga beat Christian in 6:28 with the Samoan Spike. B+

A graphic hypes Mysterio/R-Truth vs. Chavo/Swagger in the main event.

  • 3 weeks later...

Alright, so I'm just gonna summarize what happened in the weeks going into SummerSlam because I'm too lazy to type out all the shows.

RAW:

- The Batista/Cena feud escalated as each man hit the other with their signature moves in the weeks leading into their rematch at SummerSlam. Cena even put Batista through the table at their contract signing.

- DX vs. Brothers of Destruction boiled over, as each RAW and SmackDown broadcast saw several attacks on the part of the Brothers, and several segments mocking the Brothers by DX.

- Mickie James beat Melina to retain the Women's Championship on RAW, and will defend the title against Kelly Kelly at SummerSlam.

ECW:

- After weeks of brutal attacks on Rey Mysterio, Christian was finally granted an ECW Championship match, under Extreme Rules.

SmackDown:

-The rivalry between Evan Bourne and Jeff Hardy stayed mainly competitive and friendly, though the two are determined to prove who is the better high flyer come SummerSlam.

- Big Show and Edge will face off in a Last Man Standing match at SummerSlam.

- Matt Hardy and Hurricane Helms will defend their WWE Tag Team Championship against Jesse and Festus.

- Shelton Benjamin will face CM Punk for the Intercontinental Championship.

So basically, this is what the SummerSlam card looks like:

WWE Presents SummerSlam; August 23rd, 2009 (Sunday Week 4) from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA:

Theme Song:

Tonight is the biggest blockbuster of the summer

Tonight, one year in the making, the rematch between the two biggest forces in the WWE today - Batista and John Cena

Tonight, for the first time ever, D-Generation X will face The Brothers of Destruction

Tonight, Big Show and Edge settle their differences once and for all

Tonight...is SummerSlam

1.) WWE Intercontinental Championship - Shelton Benjamin beat CM Punk in 6:22 with a schoolboy while using the ropes for leverage to become champion. A very entertaining match to say the least, these two got the crowd ready for the show to come. Punk looked really good out there, and almost won via the GTS, but Benjamin escaped and rolled him up to win the match. B+

As Benjamin celebrated, we go backstage to Todd Grisham, who is with Christian. Christian says that tonight, after months of being wronged, he's getting what he's deserved for so long, and that's a championship match. Christian says that this is far beyond just a match, and that he is going to end Rey Mysterio's career tonight.

We're taken to a video recap of Kelly Kelly beating Beth Phoenix on RAW, thus earning a Women's Championship match tonight.

2.) WWE Women's Championship - Kelly Kelly beat Mickie James in 3:13 with the K Squared after a distraction from Melina to win the championship. A short Women's match, but it was very entertaining for the time given, and both women put in effort. A good finish that got a good reaction. D-

Triple H is shown in his locker room, when Shawn Michaels enters. Shawn says that tonight is the biggest challenge, literally, that they've ever faced. Shawn says that he's glad that if he had to have anyone back him up in this situation, he's glad it's Triple H. Triple H says, "Hey, that's what friends are for, Shawn." The two shake hands, and we go to..

A video recap of Christian's several attacks on Rey Mysterio over the past several weeks, as the commentators hype the ECW Championship match coming up next.

3.) ECW Championship - Rey Mysterio beat Christian in 5:51 via disqualification when Christian repeatedly hit Mysterio with a chair. This match was fun, and the crowd was really hoping that Rey would put Christian down, but it just didn't happen. The chair shot opened Rey up. C+

After the match, Christian blasted Rey with the chair again. As he stood over Rey, he ripped off Rey's mask, exposing a bloody face that you really couldn't see. Rey had to be helped out by paramedics after the match.

An advertisement for Unforgiven, which will see all three championships defended in Championship Scrambles, played.

4.) WWE Tag Team Championship - Jesse and Festus beat Matt Hardy and Gregory Helms in 5:09 when they used the Rocket Launcher on Helms to win the championship. An alright tag match, but this should have went on a lot earlier. The crowd didn't get why there wasn't a heel team challenging for the tag titles, but they popped when Jesse and Festus won. C

The two teams shook hands and celebrated as a mark of respect after the match.

A video plays, recapping the Edge vs. Big Show saga, from their initial match at Extreme Rules, to their meeting at A Night of Champions, to their match at Great American Bash.

5.) Last Man Standing - Big Show beat Edge in 16:33 when he choke slammed Edge off the stage through two tables. This match was friggin' awesome, and brutal. Edge speared Big Show through one part of the barricade, and the two fought through the crowd to get to the stage. Hawkins, Ryder, and Chavo tried to help Edge, but were all met with choke slams and big right hands. Edge speared Show into the stage, but Show didn't stay down. The ending was sick, and the crowd went nuts for it. A

We see a video package of Evan Bourne's title win, and then the weeks leading into SummerSlam.

6.) WWE Championship - Evan Bourne beat Jeff Hardy in 11:11 with the Air Bourne. A pretty good high-flying match, these two did not disappoint. I figured that Bourne would be a transitional champion, but thankfully he wasn't. The crowd was really, really hot for this match. Finish was good.

A video recaps the Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker feud.

7.) D-Generation X beat The Brothers of Destruction in 25:16 when Michaels used the Sweet Chin Music on Undertaker. This match was absolutely awesome, everyone was on their feet for pretty much the entire match. Triple H brought out the sledgehammer while the ref was down, but Undertaker grabbed the hammer, and chokeslammed Triple H. Michaels hit the Sweet Chin Music for the win. A*

We're taken back to SummerSlam 2008 in Indianapolis, Indiana at Conseco Fieldhouse, which saw the first ever meeting between John Cena and Batista, which saw Batista win. We're taken back to Cena and Batista's war against Legacy, and then to the Champion of Champions match. The crowd is on their feet as the main event...is next!

8.) World Heavyweight Championship - John Cena beat Batista in 21:04 with the Attitude Adjustment to become the champion. During the match, Randy Orton, John Morrison, and John Bradshaw Layfield attempted to interfere, but were taken down by Batista and Cena. This match was epic, and I don't think there was a person in the building who could pick a clear winner. Batista controlled a lot of the early going, but in true Cena fashion, he fought back, and won the championship. Amazing crowd reaction when Cena won the match. A*

After the match, Batista handed Cena the belt, and the two shook hands as Michael Cole remarked that they were now even to end the show.

QUICK RESULTS:

Shelton Benjamin beat WWE Intercontinental Champion CM Punk to win the championship

Kelly Kelly beat WWE Women's Champion Mickie James to win the championship

ECW Champion Rey Mysterio beat Christian via disqualification

Jesse and Festus beat WWE Tag Champions Matt Hardy and Hurricane Helms to win the championship

Big Show beat Edge

WWE Champion Evan Bourne beat Jeff Hardy to retain the championship

D-Generation X beat The Brothers of Destruction

John Cena beat World Heavyweight Champion Batista to win the championship
