HOW WE GOT WHERE WE ARE:

1/25/2009 – WWE Presents The Royal Rumble from Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan.

1.

ECW Championship – Jack Swagger beat Matt Hardy with a Gutwrench Powerbomb to retain the ECW Championship. Hardy went for the twist of fate, but Swagger countered out of it and hit him with the powerbomb to win his Pay-Per-View debut.

2.

WWE Women's Championship – Melina beat Beth Phoenix with an inside cradle as a counter to the Glam Slam. Beth dominated most of the match, but Melina's quick thinking won the match, and gave Melina her third Women's Championship reign.

3.

WWE Championship – Jeff Hardy beat Edge with the Swanton Bomb. A highly competitive match that had a ton of near falls towards the end, and saw La Familia (namely Chavo) interfere in the match, only to be hit with a Twist of Fate by Hardy. After the match, the lights went out, and a message played on the screen that the questions surrounding Jeff's unlucky past few weeks will be answered this week on SmackDown!

4.

World Heavyweight Championship – John Cena beat JBL (w/Shawn Michaels) with the STF. A pretty short match, and one sided as well. Bradshaw looked good starting off, but from about two minutes in onward, Cena dominated the match. Michaels tried to interfere by hitting Cena with a chair while the ref was down, but Cena ducked, allowing HBK to hit JBL. Cena then knocked Michaels out of the ring, and locked in the STF to retain the title.

5.

The Royal Rumble Match – Randy Orton (Entrant #29) won the Royal Rumble, last eliminating Triple H (Entrant #1). Triple H was going for a pedigree, but Orton countered out of it and hit the RKO on The Game. He began stalking Triple H, and just as Triple H regained composure, Orton hit him with a running boot, sending him effectively over the top rope to win the Royal Rumble. The Final Four were Orton, Triple H, The Undertaker (Entrant #30), and Ted DiBiase (Entrant #17).

In the weeks leading into No Way Out..

RAW:

*

Orton declared he would be challenging John Cena for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. Later that night, Cena was forced to face Cody Rhodes in a match he won rather decisively with the Throwback. The match quickly turned into a gauntlet, as Orton sent down Ted DiBiase. This match was longer, admittedly, but Cena managed to prevail yet again with the Throwback. The contract signing was held the Monday leading into No Way Out, which saw Legacy assault John Cena, only for Chris Jericho to make the save. Nobody in the arena looked more shocked than John Cena that his former rival came to his aid. Raw GM Stephanie McMahon announced that Orton, DiBiase, and Rhodes would face Cena and Jericho in a handicap match at No Way Out, and if Cena and Jericho win the match, Jericho will be reinstated.

*

Bradshaw spent most of the road to No Way Out petitioning Stephanie McMahon to get a rematch at the World Heavyweight Championship, which he was granted for the next week on RAW. He told Michaels that if he screws this up, he can forget about his financial security, and that Bradshaw would not hesitate to fire him on the spot. That week, Bradshaw did win the match via countout after he sent Cena into the ring post on the outside. He looked at Michaels with a frustrated facial expression, while Michaels told him he couldn't have interfered without costing Bradshaw the title. Bradshaw demands that Stephanie McMahon give him another title shot, but she says that the next person in line is Randy Orton, but Bradshaw can earn the right to challenge one of the other champions, because at No Way Out, he will be in the tri-branded Elimination Chamber match, as will his employee, Shawn Michaels.

*

Melina defended her Women's Title the night after the Royal Rumble in a tough match against Jillian Hall. After the match, Rosa Mendez and Beth Phoenix attacked Melina until Mickie James made the save. After fighting Mendez and Phoenix off, Mickie hit Melina with a DDT, and followed up by issuing a challenge to Melina for her Women's Title at No Way Out, which Melina accepted the following week.

ECW:

*

Jack Swagger spent most of the next three weeks running over easy guys like Ricky Ortiz and DJ Gabriel in defenses of his ECW Championship. Following a hard-fought victory over Finlay the week of No Way Out, ECW General Manager Teddy Long told Jack Swagger that at No Way Out, he will defend his ECW Championship against the returning Evan "Air" Bourne!

*

As far as the tri-branded Elimination Chamber goes, ECW will be represented by former champions Matt Hardy, and "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry.

SmackDown!

*

Edge was granted a rematch on SmackDown following the Royal Rumble, and just as Edge hit the spear, the lights went out, and when they came back on, both men were laid out in the middle of the ring. A masked man stood above the two superstars, and began to speak on the mic that he's waited, and watched these two become legitimate main eventers, and that it makes him sick that he had to sit in the minor leagues for three years, and that he's taking what's rightfully his – the WWE Championship. The man removed the mask, revealing himself to be Christian. SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero made the match for No Way Out – Christian vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Edge for the WWE Championship.

*

SmackDown's two representatives in the Elimination Chamber were determined by a series of Beat The Clock Matches, and the two best times in those matches were Triple H, who defeated Vladimir Kozlov in 4:28, and The Undertaker, who defeated Shelton Benjamin in 2:00 even.

*

Despite a win over Big Show, MVP's losing streak began again, with Kennedy taunting him after each loss. MVP said he's got a great idea, he'll face Kennedy, and show him what it feels like to be a real loser. Kennedy accepts said challenge for No Way Out, and tells MVP that he hopes he likes the look of the ceiling, because in Seattle, that's all he's going to see, courtesy of Mr. Kennedy....Kennedy.

2/15/2009 - WWE Presents No Way Out from the KeyArena in Seattle, Washington

1.

WWE Women's Championship – Melina drew Mickie James when Beth Phoenix interfered, attacking both women before hitting them each with a Glam Slam.

2.

ECW Championship – Jack Swagger beat Evan Bourne when Bourne missed a Shooting Star Press, and Swagger pinned him using the ropes for leverage.

3.

MVP beat Ken Kennedy with the Drive By in a very short, boring match.

4.

Chris Jericho and John Cena beat Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, and Ted DiBiase when Cena made Orton submit to the STF. As a result of winning this match, Chris Jericho has been reinstated as part of the RAW brand.

5.

WWE Championship – Christian beat Jeff Hardy and Edge when he used the Unprettier on Jeff Hardy following a spear from Edge.

6.

Tri-Branded Elimination Chamber Match; Winner Gets To Challenge For Either the WWE or ECW Championship at The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania– Triple H won the match, last eliminating Matt Hardy. Order of Elimination – 1.) JBL by Undertaker, 2.) Mark Henry by Triple H, 3.) Undertaker by Shawn Michaels, 4.) Shawn Michaels by Matt Hardy, 5.) Matt Hardy by Triple H.

The weeks following No Way Out:

- JBL has made it his mission to end the Undertaker's streak, essentially avenging his loss at No Way Out to the Dead Man. Desperate, he tells Shawn Michaels that he will cover him financially for life if he can end the streak at WrestleMania. Shawn says he's not sure, but JBL tells him that if anyone can do it, if anyone can end the undefeated streak of The Undertaker and send him back to Death Valley for good, it's Mr. WrestleMania. Shawn, with a look of complete worry on his face, agrees to the task.

- Chris Jericho seems to be back in the swing of things as a face helping apparent new friend John Cena combat Randy Orton and Legacy. Jericho and Cena defeat Rhodes and DiBiase on RAW the night after No Way Out, but Rhodes and DiBiase assault Jericho the next week on RAW, seemingly disposing of Y2J. He returned the next week, taking out Cody Rhodes in the back, and informing Ted DiBiase that his WrestleMania debut would be against the Ayatollah of Rock and Roll-ah.

- Speaking of Cena/Orton, tension between the two has hit an all time high. Following Jericho's assault, Cena went on a mission to take Orton out, asking several times to get WrestleMania early, but much to Cena's chagrin, Stephanie McMahon denied his requests time and time again. But she would give Cena the one thing he wants - Randy Orton, with no rules, no regulations. That's right, at WrestleMania 25, it will be John Cena vs. Randy Orton - No Disqualifications.

- Money in the Bank began to take shape in the weeks following No Way Out. On RAW the night after No Way Out, Santino Marella qualified for the match, beating Kofi Kingston with the help of Beth Phoenix. That same night, CM Punk and John Morrison had a match to determine who would get the second spot in the match. Morrison defeated Punk by using the ropes for leverage, which caused RAW GM Stephanie McMahon to grant Punk a spot in the match, rather than a rematch. A week later on ECW, Evan Bourne beat Matt Hardy to gain a spot in Money in the Bank after Jack Swagger said he would not give Evan Bourne a rematch until he earned one. That same week on SmackDown!, Shelton Benjamin beat Carlito to get a spot in the match. To round out the six-man match, a fatal four way between Intercontinental Champion William Regal, DJ Gabriel, The Miz, and Mr. Kennedy was held on RAW the following week, which saw Kennedy win after hitting the Mic Check on Regal.

- On the SmackDown! side of things, Christian has had a rough road to WrestleMania. Just one week after beating Jeff Hardy and Edge in a Triple Threat at No Way Out, SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero announced that there would be a rematch that same night on SmackDown. Hardy blasted Christian with a chair multiple times, unaware that Edge was behind him, ready to strike. Edge hit the spear on Hardy and won the WWE Championship, making him a seven time world champion. Triple H made his way out after the match and informed Edge that the two of them would meet at WrestleMania 25. A week later, it was revealed that Christian and Jeff Hardy would meet in a street fight at WrestleMania.

- Beth Phoenix didn't get off easy after attacking Mickie James and Melina at No Way Out, both Divas targeted the Glamazon after every one of her matches, causing RAW General Manager Stephanie McMahon to make a triple threat match for the Women's Title at WrestleMania, with this year's Playboy cover girl - Kelly Kelly, as the special guest referee.

- While Jack Swagger didn't grant Evan Bourne his rematch, he does, however have to answer to a guy he's ripped off in two previous title matches - Matt Hardy, who finally after defeating Mark Henry, Paul Burchill, and even Tommy Dreamer in singles matches, finally gets his rematch at WrestleMania 25 against Jack Swagger.

- In a match that was announced two weeks before WrestleMania, it will truly be a battle of the giants as Kane and the Big Show team up to face off against The Great Khali, and Umaga. The four have had several brawls across RAW, ECW, and SmackDown since the match's announcement.

So all in all, the card for the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania looks a little something like...this (credit to my friend Kemp for the AMAZING poster):

Twenty five years</em></p><p><em>

This...is WrestleMania</em></p><p>

An immensely huge pyrotechnic display goes off as all three commentary teams welcome you at home to a SOLD OUT Reliant Stadium for the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania! This is going to be a monumental night, and we're not going to keep the fans waiting any longer, let's go to the opening bout!</p><p> </p><p>

Justin Roberts: "The following contest is the Money in the Bank ladder match!"</p><p> </p><p>

1.) <strong>Money in the Bank Ladder Match -</strong> John Morrison won the match at 11:20 via retrieving the briefcase. An awesome match from the word go, it was a really fast paced match that saw a ton of sick ladder spots such as Evan Bourne angling a ladder on the ropes and performing a Shooting Star Press to the outside on the other five competitors. Morrison hit a moonlight drive to Kennedy onto a ladder that had CM Punk inside, which garnered a HUGE "Holy s**t" reaction from the fans. Morrison and Punk were battling on the ladder, but Morrison swung a kick which knocked Punk down, and he grabbed the briefcase to win the match. B+</p><p> </p><p>

As John Morrison was celebrating, we take a look back at the Hall of Fame class of 2009 - Terry and Dory Funk Jr. (Inducted by Dusty Rhodes), Kevin, David, Kerry, Mike, Chris, and Fritz Von Erich (inducted by Michael Hayes), "Cowboy" Bill Watts (Inducted by Jim Ross), Bruiser Brody (inducted by Triple H), and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin (inducted by Ric Flair). Following the video package, Terry and Dory Funk, Kevin Von Erich, Bill Watts, Barbra Goodish (Brody's widow), and Steve Austin took the stage as the crowd applauded and cheered this year's Hall of Fame class.</p><p> </p><p>

We're then taken to Eve, who is standing by with Shawn Michaels and John Bradshaw Layfield. Eve asks Shawn what he's thinking going into the match with The Undertaker, Shawn says it's been over eleven years since he last faced The Undertaker, and that he left that match a totally different man than he was going in. He said that if it wouldn't be for his family's financial security, he wouldn't have even taken this match. Bradshaw reminds him that he is Shawn's boss, and Shawn will do as he says. Shawn looks at Bradshaw with a look of utter disdain on his face. The look of disdain turns to a smirk, and Michaels says, "Not for much longer. Because tonight, The WrestleMania Streak ends at the hands of Mr. WrestleMania." Shawn walks away, while Bradshaw has a smirk on his face.</p><p> </p><p>

2.) <strong>ECW Championship -</strong> Jack Swagger beat Matt Hardy in 6:39 with a Gutwrench Powerbomb. This was a good match, which was shocking for how short it was. Hardy got in a good amount of offense against the obviously bigger and stronger champion, scoring three really close near falls with the Side Effect. In the end, Swagger countered the Twist of Fate into a Gutwrench Powerbomb to retain the title. B-</p><p> </p><p>

<em>For every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction</em></p><p><em>

For every mistake you make, there are dire consequences</em></p><p><em>

For every miscalculation</em></p><p><em>

For every failed attack</em></p><p><em>

For every tainted victory...</em></p><p><em>

There's a Backlash.</em></p><p>

<strong>APRIL 26th, 2009.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

We go to the back where Chris Jericho is standing by with Alicia Fox. Jericho tells her that his reinstating has given him a new outlook on life in the WWE. He says that tonight, he's going to prove to Ted DiBiase that pedigree means nothing when matched with 100% TALENT, 100% ENTERTAINMENT, 100% CHARISMA, 100% CHRIS...JERICHO.</p><p> </p><p>

3.) Kane and The Big Show beat Umaga and The Great Khali in 4:02 when Kane used a chokeslam on Umaga. Well, what can you say about this match? It was everything it looks like on paper, it was just there to fill time to begin with. Kane and Show essentially dominated the entire bout, picked up the win rather decisively, and that was it. B</p><p> </p><p>

An ad for the new WWE Legends of WrestleMania game plays, focusing on Rewriting, Reliving, and Redefining the WrestleMania XV main event of Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. The Rock. The announcers put over Austin's induction into the Hall of Fame ceremony last night.</p><p> </p><p>

4.) <strong>WWE Women's Championship (Kelly Kelly is Guest Referee) -</strong> Melina beat Mickie James and Beth Phoenix in 7:48 when Melina used the Last Call on Phoenix following a Mick Kick from Mickie. This was, not surprisingly, a good women's match, and didn't seem to be the bathroom/merchandise break everyone expected it to be. Kelly actually played the role of referee well, and the finish was very well done. After the match, Mickie turned Melina around and pushed her before leaving the ring. Something tells me the tension between these two is at the boiling point, King. C</p><p> </p><p>

So earth shattering...</em></p><p><em>

"BRET HART HAS WON THE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP"</em></p><p><em>

"THAT'S THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR"</em></p><p><em>

...Until now..</em></p><p>

<strong>WrestleMania 26 - Indianapolis, Indiana - April 2010.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

We go backstage to Eve, who is standing by with the WWE Champion Edge. She says that last year, he unsuccessfully defended the World Heavyweight Championship against The Undertaker. Edge interrupts her, asking what the hell The Undertaker has to do with his match tonight. Edge says he's waited nearly a year to exact his revenge on Triple H, and dammit tonight, he's going to do it. He hands her the mic and leaves, visibly angered. She sends it back to ringside.</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Ladies and Gentlemen, Jeff Hardy was assaulted in his hotel room early this morning, and he will not be able to compete here tonight in the triple threat match.</em></p><p><em>

EDGE HAS WON THE TITLE, BUT WHO WAS THE ONE WHO ATTACKED JEFF HARDY?</em></p><p><em>

Folks, Jeff Hardy has been involved in a hit and run accident, we don't know how serious the injuries are.</em></p><p><em>

JEFF HARDY HAS JUST BEEN HIT BY HIS OWN FIREWORKS.</em></p><p><em>

Jeff Hardy celebrating his first defense of that title, but wait...that video! This week on SmackDown, we're gonna know who was behind it!</em></p><p><em>

IT WAS ME, CHRISTIAN!</em></p><p><em>

1...2...3! CHRISTIAN HAS WON THE TITLE!</em></p><p><em>

Edge is stalking Jeff Hardy, he's beaten Christian to a pulp with that chair. SPEAR! EDGE HAS WON THE TITLE!</em></p><p><em>

CHRISTIAN! YOU TRIED TO TAKE EVERYTHING AWAY FROM ME, AND AT WRESTLEMANIA, I TAKE EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING AWAY FROM YOU!</em></p><p> </p><p>

5.) <strong>Street Fight -</strong> Christian beat Jeff Hardy in 17:29 when Jeff missed a Swanton from a ladder through a table. This match was absolutely amazing. From the second Christian got to ringside, it was an all out war. Chairs, tables, ladders, even thumbtacks, everything was brought out here. Christian was even busted open from a chair shot, which is a rare occurance now on WWE shows. The ending was brutal, and Hardy had to be stretchered out after the match, he was met with a chorus of applause from the fans. A</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

"BRET HART HAS WON THE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP"</em></p><p><em>

"THAT'S THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR"</em></p><p><em>

...Until now..</em></p><p><strong>

WrestleMania 26 - Indianapolis, Indiana - April 2010.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

We go backstage to Joey Styles, who is standing by with Randy Orton. Orton takes the mic from Styles, and tells everyone that tonight, he has the very match he's wanted for a long time, ever since nearly two years ago. He has John Cena in a No Disqualification match. Orton says he tore Cena's pectoral muscle, but with no rules, tonight, he's going to do..a lot..worse to Cena.</p><p> </p><p>

6.) Ted DiBiase beat Chris Jericho in 9:29 with the Dream Sweep. This was by far the most shocking win of the night, and is a HUGE win for DiBiase, considering it was clean. Jericho missed a Lionsault, landed on his feet, and basically took the Dream Sweep from there. They teased DiBiase losing to the Walls a number of times, but he always managed to get to the ropes. Jericho also got a near fall from a Codebreaker. In the end, pedigree and just plain talent proved to be the deciding factors in this match. B+</p><p> </p><p>

<em>You see, a lot of people have fallen on hard times...and unfortunately, I'm no exception</em></p><p><em>

...This is something I have to do..</em></p><p><em>

My newest employee - Shawn Michaels!</em></p><p><em>

Shawn, what are you doing?</em></p><p><em>

Hunter, I've gotta do this my own way.</em></p><p><em>

Michaels let JBL win the match! Shawn let JBL win!</em></p><p><em>

Michaels inadvertently cost JBL the match, it wasn't his fault!</em></p><p><em>

IF YOU SCREW THIS UP TONIGHT, I WILL FIRE YOUR ASS ON THE SPOT, SHAWN.</em></p><p><em>

There was nothing he could do! Cena has been counted out!</em></p><p><em>

THE UNDERTAKER HAS ELIMINATED JBL FROM THE ELIMINATION CHAMBER.</em></p><p><em>

Shawn, if you end the streak, your contract is void, and I will give you financial security for the rest of your life.</em></p><p><em>

Shawn, for the sins you've committed, you WILL Rest...In....Peace.</em></p><p><em>

</em></p><p>

7.) Shawn Michaels (w/John Bradshaw Layfield) beat The Undertaker in 22:15 with the Sweet Chin Music. By far, the best match of the night to this point. From the moment the druids took the stage with the torches, to the second the white-horse-lead chariot made its way to the ring, to the moment the ref counted three, there wasn't a single person sitting down. Bradshaw was ordered to go to the back before the match started by referee Mike Chioda. Bradshaw seemed worried that Shawn couldn't do it, but in the end, all it took was a counter to the Last Ride, and the Sweet Chin Music to end the most infamous, legendary, and important undefeated streak in the history of the business. After the match, Taker came face to face with Shawn, and extended a handshake. The two shook hands, and then embraced in a show of mutual respect for one another. Shawn backed into a corner while Taker did his signature pose. We hear the all too familiar voice of Paul Bearer, who tells The Undertaker it's time to come home. Taker stands up, nods, and disappears into the night, leaving the entire crowd chanting "Undertaker". A*</p><p> </p><p>

The announcers put over what an amazing WrestleMania moment we just witnessed, but it's not over yet. Up next, the WWE Championship is on the line.</p><p><em>

Last July..</em></p><p><em>

Triple H ruined my marriage!</em></p><p><em>

I'm going to take that WWE Championship at The Great American Bash!</em></p><p><em>

EDGE HAS WON THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP! HE IS GOING TO WRESTLEMANIA AS THE CHAMPION ONCE AGAIN!</em></p><p><em>

TRIPLE H HAS DONE IT! THE GAME IS GOING TO WRESTLEMANIA!</em></p><p><em>

It was a year ago, Triple H, and dammit, you're going to PAY FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!</em></p><p><em>

AT WRESTLEMANIA...IT'S GAME OVER!</em></p><p><em>

</em></p><p>

8.) <strong>WWE Championship -</strong> Triple H beat Edge in 11:59 with the Pedigree. An awesome match, the crowd was unbelievably hot for it, and there were many, many points in the match where Edge looked like he had it won, but in the end, a missed Spear and a Pedigree spelled victory for the now thirteen time world champion Triple H. NO RULES, NO DISQUALIFICATIONS, RANDY, AND I AM GOING TO KICK YOUR ASS!</em></p><p> </p><p>

9.) <strong>World Heavyweight Championship No Disqualification Match -</strong> John Cena beat Randy Orton in 31:33 with the STF. A bit long considering the two involved, but this was actually a really good match. Cena rushed Orton the second the bell rang, blasting Orton with punch after punch after punch until Orton went to the outside. It was here that the viper-like challenger gained the advantage, using every damn thing that wasn't nailed down to his advantage. Chairs, monitors, TV cables, you name it, he used it. Orton cleared off the three announce tables and attempted to put Cena through one with the RKO, but Cena countered, sending Orton plunging through the announce table for a 2 count. Cena eventually countered the RKO into the Throwback and locked in the STF to win yet another WrestleMania main event. A</p><p> </p><p>

After the match, the WrestleMania post-show recap video played, ending what may go down in history as the greatest WrestleMania of all time.</p><p> </p><p>

(Please note that for TV shows, the match results will be notably less detailed. I'm saving the actual detailed match results for Pay-Per-Views)

Monday Night RAW Week 2 April 2009:

We see JBL and Shawn Michaels sitting in JBL's limo. He tells Shawn that he's finally a free man, and has JBL's financial support for life for carrying out that last mission. Michaels thanks him for the opportunity, and shakes his hand before leaving the limo.

Following the typical show intro/pyrotechnic display, Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcome you to the first Monday Night RAW after WrestleMania! Tonight, William Regal will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Kofi Kingston, also tonight, the World Tag Team Champions Miz and Morrison will defend their tag titles against Cryme Tyme!

Cena's theme hits, as the entire crowd comes to their feet, the World Heavyweight Champion makes his way out to a mixed reaction. He gets in the ring, grabs the microphone from Lilian Garcia, and begins talking about last night's main event, and what it meant to him to finally get his hands on Randy Orton after all he's done to Cena. He said it felt damn good to finally squash that demon, and now he's looking ahead to the future. Just then, "Priceless" hits, and Ted DiBiase makes his way out to the ring and tells Cena that it's pretty funny that he mentions the future, because he's looking at it right now. DiBiase lays down the challenge for Cena's World Heavyweight Championship. "Voices" hits, and out steps the leader of Legacy, Randy Orton, who tells DiBiase to go the back, he has no business out here. DiBiase gets in Orton's face, and says he has every right to be out here, considering he actually WON his match last night. Orton kicks the intensity up a notch, asking DiBiase if he wants a repeat incident of when he got kicked in the head. Stephanie McMahon appears on the video screen and says that since the two members of Legacy seem to have a problem with one another, the two will square off tonight to see who faces John Cena for the World Heavyweight Championship at Backlash. The camera pans to Orton, who looks visibly frustrated, as we go to a commercial break.

1.) WWE Intercontinental Championship - William Regal (w/Layla) beat Kofi Kingston in 5:28 with the Regal Stretch. C+

After the match, Regal did not break the hold, this brought out CM Punk, who fought off Regal, saving his friend Kofi Kingston. Regal is standing on the ramp, clutching the title as we cut to..

Kelly Kelly walking down the hallway, she's in action next!

2.) Beth Phoenix beat Kelly Kelly in 3:05 with the Glam Slam. D

Randy Orton enters Stephanie McMahon's office, and asks her just what the hell she thinks she's doing making the match with him and DiBiase later tonight. He outright refuses to face a member of Legacy, and demands that he be inserted into the main event of Backlash. Stephanie asks Orton if he's afraid of losing to DiBiase. Orton says he's not. Stephanie disagrees, and tells Orton to leave her office immediately, or he will be replaced in the main event.

Up next...we'll see Kane in action!

3.) Kane beat Jamie Noble in 2:41 with a chokeslam. D+

Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase are talking backstage, when Dolph Ziggler approaches the two of them and introduces himself, before walking off. Cody then asks DiBiase what he's going to do tonight. DiBiase asks him what he means, and then simply says that he's going to beat Randy to go on to Backlash and win the World Heavyweight Championship. Cody wishes him good luck, with a look of jealousy and sarcasm on his face, and walks away.

Todd Grisham is standing by with Rey Mysterio. Mysterio hypes his upcoming match with ECW Champion Jack Swagger, but just then Mike Knox runs up and nails Mysterio, throwing him into the interview set behind them, and hitting him with a big boot. The camera goes to Grisham, who's facial expression is best described as 'wtf dude', before fading to a commercial break.

4.) World Tag Team Championship - Cryme Tyme beat The Miz and John Morrison in 8:19 when they used the G-9 on Miz after John Morrison walked out on him to win the World Tag Team Championship. B-

Melina is seen backstage talking to John Cena, when out of nowhere, Mickie James attacks her, throwing her into a nearby wall, and then again into a door. She stands over Melina with a sick look on her face, we then go to..

A graphic telling us that Jack Swagger vs. Rey Mysterio has been postponed to ECW tomorrow night on Sci-Fi!

We come back to RAW to find Chris Jericho in the ring. He says that the past two months have been about a road to redemption, but he doesn't feel like he's redeemed anything yet, especially after suffering a loss last night to Ted DiBiase. He promises the fans that by the end of the year, Chris Jericho will once again be World Heavyweight Champion! This brings out Manu, for whatever reason, who tells Jericho that if a pushover like DiBiase can beat him, so can Manu. Mike Chioda rushes to the ring, and we have a match on our hands!

5.) Chris Jericho beat Manu in 0:58 (no, seriously) with the codebreaker. D-

As Jericho is celebrating, Cody Rhodes rushes the ring, and hits Jericho with a chair in the back, sending him to the outside. Cody then gives Jericho a DDT on the outside of the ring, opening Y2J up.

Later tonight...Ted DiBiase takes on Randy Orton to see who faces John Cena at Backlash!

A hype video for ECW is shown, focusing on the ECW Champion, "The All American American" Jack Swagger.

6.) Dolph Ziggler beat Goldust in 3:00 by count-out. D

Ziggler beats Goldust down after the match and introduces himself to the crowd as THE WINNER...Dolph Ziggler.

But up next...Orton vs. DiBiase!

7.) #1 Contender's Match - Ted DiBiase beat Randy Orton in 15:48 with the Dream Sweep as a counter to the RKO. B+

After the match, Orton attacked DiBiase, but surprisingly, Cena makes the save, running off Orton. He and DiBiase have a brief staredown, and the two shake hands, still staring at each other as we end the show.

Overall Show Rating: B-

what mod are u using for this

In the first post, at the very top:

"First, let me say it was a real pain in the ass to edit the KYR database to get it to how I needed it to be to use WM as my start date, but I did it, and I'm using it from the start date of Week 1 April 2009."

KYR = Know Your Role, it's by jimmy_shakerz or something to that effect.

ECW on Sci-Fi Week 2 April 2009:

The show opens up with General Manager Teddy Long, with Tiffany, announcing the two first round matches in the one-night tournament on ECW - Evan Bourne will take on former ECW Champion Mark Henry, while Matt Hardy will square off against Finlay. We then go to the usual opening of ECW.

1.) Round One Tournament Match - Evan Bourne beat Mark Henry in 3:05 with a Shooting Star Press. C+

After the match, a livid Mark Henry attacked Bourne, hitting him not only with the World's Strongest Slam, but THREE consecutive splashes, leaving Bourne both out of it and his status in the tournament in limbo.

We see Ricky Ortiz and Tiffany standing backstage. The two look like they're about to kiss, but just then, The Miz comes through, asking them if they've seen John Morrison. They both say that they haven't, and Miz continues searching.

Up next...Matt Hardy vs. Finlay!

2.) Round One Tournament Match - Matt Hardy beat Finlay in 8:29 with the Twist of Fate. B-

After the bout, the two shook hands in a show of mutual respect.

We go to the back, where Evan Bourne is in the trainer's office. He's interviewed by Todd Grisham, who he informs that he does not know if he will be able to participate in the finals coming up next. Will Bourne continue in the tournament? Find out next!

ECW returns live as Matt Hardy is standing in the ring, ready to face Evan Bourne. Teddy Long comes out, and informs the fans that Evan Bourne will not be able to compete again tonight due to injuries suffered in the match with Mark Henry. As Teddy finishes that sentence, Bourne walks out on the ramp, holding onto his stomach, and tells Teddy he wants to compete. Long gives him the go-ahead, and the tournament finals are on!

3.) One Night Tournament Finals - Evan Bourne beat Matt Hardy in 2:37 with a flash cradle. B+

Bourne celebrates post-match while a visibly shocked, and angry Matt Hardy looks on.

We cut back to Todd Grisham, who is standing by with ECW Champion "The All American American" Jack Swagger. Todd asks him how he plans to combat Mysterio, and Swagger responds by saying he'll treat Rey like every other four-year-old, and that by the end of tonight, Mysterio is going to regret showing up on ECW. Miz approaches Swagger and asks where Morrison is. Swagger says he has no clue, and Miz continues to search.

4.) Jack Swagger beat Rey Mysterio in 12:01 with a Gutwrench Powerbomb following interference from Mike Knox. B

After the match, Swagger celebrates, but we soon cut back to...

Miz, who has finally found Morrison. He asks him what the hell his problem was walking out on him last night. Morrison says he's sick of having to carry the load, and since he's now Mr. Money in the Bank, he needs to drop the dead weight. Miz responds with, "Dead weight? We'll see how much dead weight I am when I take your Money in the Bank briefcase from you." Morrison tells him to name the time and the place. Miz says "Backlash", before slapping his former tag partner. The two have to be separated by agents and referees alike as we end the show.

Orton tells her that it's in the best interest to add Orton into the main event, and Stephanie says that if Orton can win his match tonight, he'll be added into the match. Chris Jericho then comes in and tells Stephanie that not only did he win his match last week, he did so in under a minute. Jericho says he wants in on the Championship match. Stephanie tells Jericho that if HE wins his match tonight, he'll also be added in to the title match. Jericho and Orton have a stare down as we go to the RAW Opening video.

John Morrison is standing by with Todd Grisham, who asks him why he turned on Miz last week. Morrison says it's simple - he was sick of carrying Miz's dead weight, and now that he's Mr. Money in the Bank, he's destined for greater things. Miz walks up, and tells Morrison that he's on borrowed time, and come Backlash, he's taking the briefcase home with him. The two have a stare down as we go to..

He tells Shawn that Shawn had no right being in that match with Undertaker, and that if anyone deserved another shot at Undertaker, it was Kane. Shawn told Kane that he was doing it to support his family, Kane grabs Shawn by the throat, and tells him that the two of them will meet at Backlash, and Shawn's family will know what it's like to have the same empty feeling that Kane has.

A graphic tells us that the main event of Cena/DiBiase vs. Orton/Rhodes is coming up a little bit later tonight as we go to a commercial break.

We come back, and Jericho is in Stephanie McMahon's office. He tells her that he wants to face Cody tonight. Stephanie says that's impossible, because Cody Rhodes has left the building. Orton storms into her office and asks Stephanie what the hell she's talking about. Stephanie tells Orton that she's sorry, and he'll have to find another tag partner for the main event, or he'll have to face both Cena and DiBiase in a handicap match! RAW Preview:

Just six days before Backlash, we have a huge RAW main event as John Cena teams up with Ted DiBiase and Chris Jericho to take on Legacy - Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, and DH Smith. Will Legacy soften up their opponents for Sunday night, or will Cena, DiBiase, and Jericho put Legacy down before Backlash?

Kane issued the challenge to Shawn Michaels last week on RAW, saying that it should have been Kane who ended The Undertaker's WrestleMania streak, not Michaels. This week, Kane faces off with Michaels' former employer, John Bradshaw Layfield.

Also tonight on RAW, CM Punk will face William Regal for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Will the Straight Edge Superstar finally capture the one RAW Championship that has long alluded him?

All this, plus Candice and Kelly Kelly in tag team action tonight on RAW!

Monday Night RAW Week 4 April 2009:

RAW opens with Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, and DH Smith in the ring. Orton says that in just six days, he will take back what is rightfully his - the World Heavyweight Championship. He goes on to say that Cody Rhodes will take care of Chris Jericho once and for all, and Legacy will reign supreme on Monday Night RAW. John Cena interrupts, with DiBiase and Jericho behind him, and reminds Orton that what he just stated is easier said than done, because he'll be damned if Randy Orton is beating Cena, much less DiBiase to get the World Heavyweight Championship. Cena then says that Cody doesn't look like he can pick up Michael Cole, let alone even harm Jericho. Jeircho grabs the mic and tells Legacy that they've been nothing but a thorn in his side since he came back to Monday Night RAW, and at Backlash, he's taking Cody Rhodes down. The camera pans to Orton, visibly angry, before going to the normal RAW opening video.

A graphic announces the main event - Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, and DH Smith - Legacy, taking on John Cena, Ted DiBiase, and Chris Jericho

We're taken back to WrestleMania 25, when Shawn Michaels put away The Undertaker, ending the legendary WrestleMania Streak, and sending the Undertaker back to Death Valley.

Shawn is then shown backstage when he's again approached by Kane, who tells Shawn that in six days, his life becomes a living Hell, and he will regret not letting Kane face Undertaker at WrestleMania.

CM Punk is shown walking down a hallway, the Intercontinental Championship is on the line...next!

2.) WWE Intercontinental Championship - CM Punk beat William Regal (w/Layla) in 12:23 with the Go To Sleep to win the championship. B-

After the match, Punk celebrated, going into the crowd with his fans.

A video plays, showing clips of Batista vs. Cena from SummerSlam, then Batista winning the World Heavyweight Championship at Cyber Sunday, and finally Batista getting kicked in the head by Orton in December. The video ends with a graphic saying that Batista returns at WWE Extreme Rules in June.

We come back to RAW, where Melina is seen talking to Kofi Kingston. Mickie James attacks Melina out of nowhere, sending her into a door, and then slamming her face first onto the table. Mickie kicks Melina in the ribs, and takes the Women's title. Kofi calls for paramedics as Melina lays unconscious on the floor.

Rey Mysterio was standing by with Todd Grisham, who tells him that tonight he will face Mike Knox, Mysterio says he knows that, and he's not worried, because he's going to take care of Mike Knox once and for all. Just then, ECW Champion Jack Swagger tells him that he's not going to do anything but lay flat on his back and look up at the lights. Mysterio reminds Swagger that the only reason Mysterio lost to Swagger two weeks ago was BECAUSE of Mike Knox. Swagger tells him to remember that, and then walks away.

Up next...Kane vs. JBL!

4.) John Bradshaw Layfield beat Kane in 9:11 via count out when Kane went after Shawn Michaels. B+

6.) Rey Mysterio beat Mike Knox in 5:05 via disqualification after interference from Jack Swagger. C-

After the match, Knox and Swagger continued the beat down until Evan Bourne ran in, making the save. Swagger and Knox both looked at the ring with smirks on their faces.

We cut backstage to ECW General Manager Teddy Long, with Tiffany, who tells Stephanie McMahon that he thinks the talent exchange is working perfectly, except that he seems to see a lot more problems from the RAW Superstars than his own. Stephanie suggests that their behavior is influenced by that of the ECW Locker Room. This sparks a debate between the two general managers as Cole and Lawler inform us that the main event..is next!

ECW Week 4 April 2009:

Teddy Long welcomes everyone to ECW, and announces the main event of tonight as the eight-man tag match, and he says that if Evan Bourne's team wins tonight, Bourne will get his pick of a stipulation for his Championship match at Backlash, but if Jack Swagger's team wins, Bourne and Swagger's match will officially become a non-title match. The ECW opening video follows shortly thereafter.

The RAW Rewind plays, focusing on last night's six-man tag main event which saw Cody Rhodes submit to John Cena's STF.

We come back to ECW where we see Tiffany and Ricky Ortiz. Tiffany tells Ricky that she thinks he should get into the ECW Title Chase. 3.) If Evan Bourne's Team Wins, he gets his pick of a stipulation at Backlash, if Jack Swagger's Team Wins, Swagger does not have to defend his ECW Championship against Evan Bourne at Backlash - Evan Bourne, Rey Mysterio, Matt Hardy, and The Miz beat Jack Swagger, Mike Knox, Mark Henry, and John Morrison in 23:54 when Bourne used the Air Bourne on Swagger. B-

After the match, Evan Bourne grabbed a mic, and told Swagger that the two of them will meet Sunday night in a match that the original ECW was built on - EXTREME RULES! The crowd erupted while Bourne and company celebrated to end the show.
