Nominations will be open until January 30th (12 pm Eastern)

Last months were last as I thought G-Prime was going to get the Yearly award balloting under way. so this month we are back to a last week of the month schedule. Voting will go up next Friday afternoon to give the week end crowd a good chance to vote.

Are there any suggestions or comments on how this is being/has been run? this will be the 8th month since I took over, and I am still open to any improvements. let me know if you don't like the rule change.

My Real World nomination goes to mad5226's WWF1992, the year that wasn't because it is logically booked for its time period and remains simple to read yet enthralling.

My Cornelverse nom goes to Philly Power Pro Wrestling: Dangerous Dreams by Phantom Stranger

My Rookie Diary nom goes to SWF: Keeping the competition at bay by UKWrestleFan.

BBW: Start A War, Chapter II (CVerse '97) - FINisher

Reason = A unique diary with some great storylines and a really nice layout for the shows too.

Secrets of the Ring Volume Two: Peter Michaels and SWF 2011 - NoNeck

Reason = Surely one of the best ever diaries on here, awesome storylines and a show layout that really makes you think you're watching the shows for real.

Rookie DOTM

USPW: Where the '90s Go to Die - Scapino1974

Reason = Scapino1974 has a reputation for quality diaries and I've loved the start of this one so far.

Philly Power Pro Wrestling: Dangerous Dreams by Phantom Stranger

Phantom Stranger's writing is simply great, especially with the "time bending" nature of the entries, going from "modern day" to the height of the war and back again.

I usually don't read real-world stuff because stuff doesn't seem to be booked right with the time period... granted, it's usually a period I wasn't watching wrestling during... but this one just 'feels' right.

I'll second BBW: Start A War, Chapter II (CVerse '97) - FINisher, Philly Power Pro Wrestling: Dangerous Dreams by Phantom Stranger, and USPW: Where the '90s Go to Die - Scapino1974. Because of FIN's fun characters, Stranger's DVD style recaps, and Scapino's backstory (making someone hate Brandon is pretty damn original).

I'll put seconds in for Finisher's: BBW (always a fun read, his wild unpredictable booking really suits the promotion, he is working with) and Bigpapa 42's: SWF Generation Supreme (well written shows, and some great backstage stuff too)

By the way as good as James Casey's MAW diary is, a vote for him this month would be a wasted vote, because seeing as he won last month he's not up for nomination. At least someone else might have a chance of winning this month.

Nevermore has only had 1 show up this month, if he gets another one up by jan 30th I will add him to the list of nominees.

Holy crap am I feeling the love right now.

I'd like to second a bunch of folks who've already been seconded, which is cool as it frees up my votes.

I'm gonna nominate NWA Beyond the Glory by Wildfire and second Prequel to Death of WCW.

I'm also going to nominate foolinc's NYCW: Butterfly Effect diary. Great, innovative characterisation, intelligent evolution of WCW, and a NYCW I would watch are the reasons.

I'll nominate GartnerFTW's "1991 - WWF Rise to Perfection".

Not only is it booked properly for the era, have engaging stories, and have a very easy-to-read layout, but he also puts up shows like a madman. Like, a few a day! Makes me wish I hadn't taken that job I just did....
