SWF Supreme TV

http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/LobsterWarrior_alt2.jpg

As per usual the fans were enjoying another Lobster Warrior match, his opponent for tonight was Runaway Train, not that it mattered. Chris Morrisette, the man under the mask, could always put on a watchable match. A section of the fans always appreciated him, but he was the comedic character that the kids loved to watch, and the top stars always beat. There were moments when the plucky and determined Lobster Warrior put up a fight, but the inevitable happened as Lobster Warrior got blasted with a Train Wreck.

But this wasn’t the big news from the first SWF Supreme TV of January 2008. What happened next was what grabbed the imagination of wrestling fans across the United States. The Tri-State crowd booed Runaway Train as he left victorious. The camera’s then focused on Lobster Warrior as he got to his feet. He held his rib cage and rolled out of the ring, heading to the back. Then he stopped, near a fan that just happened to be wearing a hooded jacket, his face not in clear view. Next, in what has been reported as unscheduled and unexpected by the SWF writing staff, Chris Morrisette peeled off his Lobster Warrior mask, handing it over to the fan in the hooded jacket. Lobster Warrior smirked at the camera and moved on, the camera just catching the fan who now had the mask. Three letters were clear on his jacket.

R-P-W

The man turned and for a brief second the face was seen on camera as he seemed to walk away. Duane Fry was the only one on the commentary team with the balls to say exactly what he had just seen.

“Chris Morrisette has just given his Lobster Warrior mask…………to Nemesis!”

The scene opened in a dark unused part of an arena. The walls were grey and dingy, stained with something at certain parts of the wall. Slightly eerie music is playing lightly in the background as the side profile of a man, with long black hair steps into view from the right. His left eye is visible and coloured red. It is the man that this website is dedicated too, former DAVE competitor Sammy Bach.

http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/SammyBachEMO1.jpg

“The Elation Sensation is no more and TCW will not be my new home, despite all the rumours I’m sure you’ve dedicated part of you’re life to reading have suggested. DAVE is over, dead and buried and along with it dies my former self. But don’t let you’re little hearts worry to much, because I have found a new home, and some new friends. The East Coast is still my home for now………..and it’s also home to the CotGD.”

Sammy Bach turns to face the camera as he is joined on either side of him by the dark and sultry Emma Chase, the enigma that is Acid and the looming presence of both Plague and Raven Nightfall.

“Why would I go to TCW were I have to conform when I can be myself, impose myself and my will on you people. You will all bear witness to the rise of a new age. Cult of The Grey Dragon is back.”

Sammy Bach starts a deep chuckle as the camera slowly fades with three letters predominantly showing on a black screen.

Steve Flash stood tall in the ring, having just successfully defend his NYCW Empire Title against Grandmaster Phunk, Black Hat Bailey and Whistler in an gruelling four way dance. The referee handed him his title and raised his hand which caused the fans in attendance to cheer even louder than they had been. Flash gave a tired grin to the crowd before putting the belt over his shoulder. Then, suddenly the lights went out and “Danger Zone” by Kenny Loggins begins to play around the arena, getting an even bigger ovation as from the back walked out Phil Vibert.

http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/PhilVibert_alt2.jpg

Steve Flash and the fans all looked shocked as Phil Vibert with microphone in hand headed to the ring and got into the ring. The two went through a stare down, Steve Flash trying to figure exactly what was going on as Phil’s music stopped and for a moment, silence filled the arena before……..

“Welcome Back! Welcome Back! Welcome Back!”

Phil Vibert smiled before raising the microphone to his lips, which commanded the silence of the fans in attendance.

“They thought they could defeat me, stop good old Phil from taking their spots. They thought they could kill the East Coast, and then take all my talent that I discovered from me. But guess what Richard, Tommy and Sam…………I ain’t done just yet. DAVE may have gone bankrupt thanks to the numerous talent raids, but how quickly you forget exactly who I am. I’m Phil Vibert, the winner of the East Coast Wars! And while you may have bought the rights to the DAVE library Richard, and soon there after snapped up PPPW and XFW………there was one you didn’t get.”

Some of the nostalgic fans started to chant the three letters that had appeared on SWF Supreme TV a week ago, and the letters at the end of the promo on Sammy Bach’s website. The chants got louder and louder.

“RAPID PRO WRESTLING IS BACK!”

A massive ovation followed as Phil turned his attention to Steve Flash, looking at his NYCW Empire Title.

“Maybe you could add another title to you’re collection.”

http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/JonRose.jpghttp://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/SaraSilver.jpg

“Bang Bang” by Biggie Smalls starts to play as the video fades into an intro package for “Motive Entertainment”. Flicks of Danny Rose, the younger cousin of retired British wrestler Jon Rose and Sara Silver hit you’re screen in succession till the music starts to fade and some shaky camera work comes into play. The scene seems to be a bar but right now all we can see is the floor and some chairs as whoever is carrying the camera walks through. Once he stops he slowly lifts the camera up, scaling up some long legs, a tight mini-skirt and a silver jacket. The camera falls on Sara Silver’s face.

“You could have put some effort in, this is the premiere of Motive Entertainment.”

Sara Silver hits the camera man, who then turns the camera on himself, as the face of Danny Rose comes into view. He gives a cheeky grin as he begins to talk.

“Welcome Ladies and Gentleman to Motive Entertainment. We’ll be bringing you all the gossip, all the backstage news and all the drama you’re little minds can cope with. No need to thank me, just sit back and enjoy. So Sara Silver, apart from coming out almost half naked, what have we got to show the world today, on this premiere edition of Motive Entertainment?”

The camera spins around again and Sara Silver is adjusting her hair and revelling in the spot light as she beckons the camera to follow her, unaware of Danny’s tendency to let the camera stray downwards.

“Well, as you all know by now, or at least you should all know by now……Phil Vibert is bringing back Rapid Pro Wrestling. And I am going to be bringing in the entertainment and sex appeal.”

“Actually I think that’s what they brought J-Ro in for!”

Sara Silver shakes her head as she ignores Danny Rose’s comment.

“And today, we are going to reveal to you a bit more about the calibre of stars that Phil Vibert and his right hand man, Nemesis………are bringing in. Take a look.”

Sara Silver points over to a table in the corner of the bar, where the instantly recognisable figure of Nemesis is seen, and next to him is a dark haired man in a suit, who is soon revealed to be Phil Vibert. Danny Rose keeps moving, trying to see the man opposite these two massive figures in wrestling. And then his face becomes clear.

http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/JoeyMinnesota.jpg

Joey Minnesota sits in casual dress, chatting away with the men that are bringing RPW back to life. Danny Rose brings the camera back to him.

“And there you have it, two blockbusters in one show. Joey Minnesota is coming to RPW, but more importantly and more impressively………so is “The Motive” Danny Rose. Till next time!”

And the feed cuts.

In what is considered an upset in AAA, the crowd are stunned when Black Widow pins Raven Nightfall’s shoulders to the mat, Sara Marie York having just fallen victim to the Night Faller was powerless to stop it. The referee made the three count, and Black Widow becomes the AAA Femme Fatale for the first time in her professional career. The crowd react with a mixture of boos and cheers as Raven Nightfall’s reign has come to an end.

http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/WandaFish.jpghttp://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/MissMexico.jpg

Then “Pokerface” by Lady GaGa interrupts the festivities though as out comes Wanda Fish from the back, with the unlikely companion of Miss Mexico. The two slide into the ring as the three competitors who have just finished their match slowly get to their feet. The fans of AAA will have seen all the promo’s Wanda Fish has been making towards Raven Nightfall, her measure of revenge for Raven beating her for her title. The three look at Wanda Fish and Miss Mexico. Black Widow seems pretty confident in herself as Sara Marie York and Raven Nightfall get ready.

Then suddenly Raven Nightfall hits Black Widow with the Night Faller as Miss Mexico and Wanda Fish attack Sara Marie York, as she falls victim to the Dish of the Day and a Redhead Press. Miss Mexico and Wanda Fish then turn to look straight at Raven Nightfall, who starts to peel off her wrestling top, to reveal a smaller top with three letters that are starting to appear all around the wrestling world. Wanda and Miss Mexico smile as they then follow suit and stand tall in the middle of the ring.

Thanks for the reply Phantom.

Yeah, I always felt a bit cheated with the death of DAVE, purely because in the C-Verse history the East Coast Wars is one of the most interesting parts and it was coming to an end with the death of DAVE. So this is my attempt to keep the East Coast alive and have them dethrone the top 2. RPW seem the most likely product in the current game to make a successful comeback due to the mainstream aspects.

GL: Welcome wrestling fans to First Stop Radio, I’m you’re host Gavin Lyons, the man bringing you the wrestling news from all over the North American Territories every week, and boy do I have a show for you all tonight. Any wrestling fan worth his salt has been noticing certain events, promo’s and advertisements appearing all over the place, from small promotions shows all the way up to live Supreme TV. Rapid Pro Wrestling is the promotion on everyone’s lips. And tonight, yours truly is the first person to get an interview with the masterminds behind the return of Rapid Pro Wrestling, The Backstage Mastermind Phil Vibert and Hall of Immortals bound Nemesis. Welcome to the show guys.

PV: Pleasure to be here.

N: Let’s get this show some ratings shall we.

GL: First off I’ve got to thank you guys for coming. The wrestling world has been talking about you two, Rapid Pro Wrestling and all the stars you guys are managing to sign. Everyone listening to this show should know both of your histories, but why don’t you explain to them what Rapid Pro Wrestling was!

N: Well, I think Phil’s best placed to answer that question.

PV: Well, over ten years ago, I bought DAVE, which was about to go bankrupt at the time. And the wrestling scene at that time was slightly different from today. You still had SWF as the number one promotion, and HGC had just been put together by JK and they secured the number two spot. But unlike recently, when there has always been a clear number three promotion, be it DAVE and then USPW, back then the spot was open. You had CZCW on the West Coast, AMW were around.

N: All though they weren’t really in any position to try and claim the number 3 spot.

PV: True, and then you had the hot bed. The East Coast! Five promotions all wanting to take that spot and challenge the top 2! And it was a war, NYCW stayed out of it best they could, but the rest of us were ruthless. You had my DAVE, PPPW, XFW and RPW. DAVE came out on top and the other three all got merged into my promotion, and DAVE became a mixture of the best of all those promotions. Rapid Pro Wrestling was the most mainstream of the four, and had a similar all though not identical product to CZCW. The Japanese Super Juniors would most likely appear on a RPW show. Some of their stuff wrestling wise was ahead of it’s time.

GL: And now you’ve brought it back.

PV: Well I wasn’t done with the wrestling business just yet.

GL: Well I’ve got to ask you, was this the plan since April last year? I mean you didn’t sell the rights to RPW’s library of footage, you and Nemesis didn’t go to any of the big promotions, and a lot of you’re old stars didn’t commit to long term contracts anywhere else. Sammy Bach is a prime example, only agreeing to a short term contract with USPW when he could have gone to SWF or TCW. And Joey Minnesota only touring in Japan for GCG and Acid for WLW!

N: When DAVE died, a lot of us weren’t ready for it to die. You don’t mind me taking this one Phil?

PV: Go for it.

N: DAVE would have succeeded if SWF and TCW didn’t choke the life out of it. And they were both ready to snap up our stars. Big Cat going to SWF, Eddie to TCW! When we knew DAVE was going to go bankrupt eventually, I said to Phil that it couldn’t end this way. Not after all the work we had put in, and all the work that the East Coast had put in. One of the most fascinating times in wrestling have come from the East Coast Wars. So I came up with the idea of opening up one of the old East Coast promotions. We spread the word to some of the guys, not going into anything specific. We said we’d open up a new promotion in about a years time, would they be interested. We didn’t say it would be RPW because we didn’t want anyone telling the guys in New England. Those names you just mentioned jumped on board.

PV: And the main thing to realize with those names is they are all relatively young stars that made their names in DAVE. I’ll be honest, I was expecting loyalty from the veterans that were involved in the East Coast Wars but turns out it’s the young guys that were loyal. A lot of them feel like they’d be forced to play second fiddle to the old big name stars.

N: Well, not all of the veterans turned us down.

PV: True.

GL: Who’s the veteran that stuck with you guys?

N: You’ll have to wait and see Gavin.

A desk comes into view of the camera, mahogany polished wood shining back at the shot. The camera starts to rise as the desk shows the name of the owner, Hall of Immortals bound Nemesis. The camera continues to reveal the man himself behind the desk, his arms placed on the table in front of him.

“You know, part of me would love for this all to be happening a few years earlier. New Promotion, New Roster, New Opportunities! But my time has past, all though some things will never change. Because I’m the man that will be running the show! Phil has put me in charge, so boys and girls of RPW, there will be no bossing the boss around!”

Nemesis grinned as he reached for something to the side of the shot and brought it into view, the shiny platinum surface immediately grabbing the eye.

http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/Titles/GenericHeavyweight1.jpg

“Wrestling fans, this is the RPW World Heavyweight Title. And I’m here to explain to you how we are going to crown the first RPW World Heavyweight Champion. The last Wednesday of February will see 20 Men fight for their spot in the Main Event at The Final Fight which will be held in May. All these Pay Per Views will be on MySelect USA for you’re viewing pleasure, and you’re weekly dose of RPW can be found on National Pride TV every Saturday.”

The camera zooms in to the title as Nemesis talks about the next few months before returning to his face.

“The format for Last Man Standing is as follows, there will be two battle royals featuring ten men in each. The final three combatants in each will then compete in an elimination six way match to name the Last Man Standing. Good luck to each of the participants.”

Nemesis smiles as the shot fade.

“Bang Bang” by B.I.G. starts another video on Rapid Pro dot com as the video package for Motive Entertainment begins. It is followed by the familiar shaky camera work as the camera seems to be filming inside of a hotel room somewhere. The camera falls upon Sara Silver sitting at a laptop, with a plate of Blueberry Cheesecake half eaten at her side. The voice of Danny “Motive” Rose begins to speak.

“So, now you know when to tune in, RPW’s Last Man Standing at the end of February is set in stone. But Motive Entertainment is here to fill in the couple of weeks before then with the backstage news that you all need to know. So what do we have for them today Silver?”

Sara Silver clicks the mouse a couple of times before turning her head to the camera, her black hair swaying over one shoulder.

“I’m not sure you want to know!”

There’s a slight pause before Danny responds.

“What you talking about Sara?”

Sara looks back at the screen as if checking to see if whatever’s on the screen is still there.

“Some of the fans……………they don’t know who you are!”

The camera started to frantically move around before finally settling in Sara Silver’s hands, as she has now been replaced at the front of the laptop by Danny Rose as he looks at the page in front of him.

“Tigerkinney says Danny Who?”

Danny shakes his head and turns to the camera that Sara Silver is now holding.

“Unfortunately for me, my relative in the wrestling business……well he sucked! I’m Danny Rose, younger cousin of Jon Rose, who wrestled in some of the smaller promotions in the UK back in the 90’s. Of course, if you were a proper wrestling fan, you’d have known that. Ask Phantom Stranger, he knows who I am. And he’ll tell you that I’m a very different creature to my cousin. I’ve been in the business since I was a little kid, and I’m a USPW Television Champion…………Oh, and the most charismatic superstar……….EVER!”

Danny Rose smirked as he got up to his feet.

“And now, time to make Tigerkinney famous…………you my friend have just cut Motive Entertainment short for today. Whatever we would have revealed, you can all wait to find out. I’m sure you didn’t want to know what other title was on the line at Last Man Standing Anyway!

Show fades out with Static.

Just a bit of an explanation, the game this diary is based off of, I started in 2004, putting DAVE back in and making some alterations to rosters, but not every roster. Danny Rose is my user character, and I started with USPW, but then left to start up RPW after DAVE actually went bankrupt in January 2007. I've been running RPW since February 2007 with weekly shows.

When I started this diary, I went with the idea of Phil and Nemesis planning this when DAVE died in the usual C-Verse history, and that Sammy Bach, Joey Minnesota and the like never went TCW or SWF. Truth is Sammy was in USPW when I was running it and Joey went SWF, so they've gained popularity through those runs. I took the liberty of taking some of the DAVE guys back, from wherever they went, and Chris Morrisette to fill out my main event.

RPW: Last Man Standing I

Cassell Coliseum (Mid Atlantic)

Attendance: 9,114

After the video package, fireworks and shots of the crowd have all taken place, RPW’s Last Man Standing Pay Per View is ready to begin as a light shines on a man standing in the centre of the ring. The fans already know who it is, but he introduces himself to those watching at home.

http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/DuaneFry.jpg

DF: Ladies and Gentleman, my name is Duane Fry! Welcome to RPW, Welcome to Last Man Standing and I promise you all…….THIS IS GOING TO BE A BARN-STORMER!

The fans let out a roar as Duane Fry smirks, the former SWF commentator relishing in his new role of lead play by play man, certain that the internet fans will now know why he was the one to tell the world who they were looking at on SWF Supreme TV a month ago.

DF: The East Coast will never die……………and it will never die because of the two men I have the pleasure of introducing to you. Ladies and Gentleman………….The General Manager of RPW, Nemesis and my partner on the broadcast table………Phil Vibert!

http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/Nemesis_alt1.jpghttp://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/PhilVibert.jpg

“Violence Fetish” by Disturbed begins to play as from the back, walk out Phil Vibert and Nemesis, the masterminds behind RPW. The Mid Atlantic fans start chanting “Welcome Back” as they head to the ring and Phil Vibert takes the microphone from Duane Fry.

PV: Tonight is a declaration of intent. There’s only enough room for so many. And you fans, deserve the best, and nothing less. Tonight we show you all the best, I hope the big guns are watching. But this isn’t my show, I’m not the man who’s vision will guide this company…………

Phil turns to Nemesis.

PV: I put RPW in you’re hands my friend.

Phil hands the microphone over to Nemesis as he then takes his leave with Duane Fry.

N: So it begins the road to Final Fight. Tonight as I promised, you will see 20 men fight for six spots in the main event. The first battle royal is next. You will see 20 talented warriors compete for a prize that means just as much as any other title. This is there chance to be the first RPW World Heavyweight Champion since 1999. And that’s not all, because tonight you will also see the crowning of new RPW Tag Team Champions as The Fly Boys take on New Wave and also we will crown an RPW Women’s Champion as Wanda Fish takes on Suzanne Brazzle. The next two hours will be some of the best wrestling you will see in the United States this year. That I promise you. So sit back, grab a beer and enjoy the show.

http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/JoshuaTaylor.jpghttp://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/MainstreamHernandez.jpg

We start off with the second listed battle royal first, with the likes of Chris Morrisette, Eric Tyler, Johnny Bloodstone and Jack Giedroyc in it. Raven Nightfall and Sara Silver were at ringside for Plague and Danny Rose respectfully as the bell was rung. Plague immediately went for Joshua Taylor, who seemed unprepared for the assault of kicks and punches. Danny Rose seemed content to sit back and wait as Giedroyc and Eric Tyler met in the middle of the ring, Chris Morrisette found himself fighting off the attention of William Hayes, and Johnny Bloodstone was being double teamed by Mainstream Hernandez and Trent Shaffer. Joshua Taylor had managed to turned things around and was attempting to throw Plague over the top rope but Danny Rose seeing an opportunity ran up behind Joshua Taylor and dumped him over the top rope, Plague managing to hold on to the ropes. Danny celebrated only to feel Morrisette’s arms wrap around his waist and fling him over with a Release German Suplex. ELIMINATION 1: JOSHUA TAYLOR

William Hayes and Danny Rose were both laying on the mat, a result of Chris Morrisette’s attacks, but Plague sprung back into the ring with a springboard dropkick, which took Chris off his feet. Plague was quick up to his feet as he looked around the ring and saw Mainstream to his right, who he hit with a super kick that echoed around the arena as the commentary team commented on his fluidity. Trent Shaffer tried to cut off Plague’s momentum only to find himself on the receiving end of a hurricanrana, that flung him over the top rope. ELIMINATION 2: TRENT SHAFFER

Plague didn’t make the same mistake as Danny Rose and remained sharp as he started to trade blows with Jack Giedroyc. Chris Morrisette was back to his feet and trying to eliminate Danny Rose, who was hanging on for dear life. Johnny Bloodstone and Mainstream Hernandez then commenced a battle of reversals as Mainstream managed to arm drag Johnny over just for Johnny to hold on to the ropes. He got to his feet as Mainstream charged and grabbed him under the arms, flinging him over his head in a belly to belly suplex and eliminating him. William Hayes tried to take advantage of Johnny being on the apron, but Johnny dropped and lowered the rope to eliminated William Hayes as well. ELIMINATION 3 & 4: MAINSTREAM HERNANDEZ & WILLIAM HAYES.

Johnny Bloodstone got back into the ring and got immediately greeted with a Crashing On from Jack Giedroyc. He was then hit with a back suplex from Plague who then hit the New Jersey Turnpike. Plague got up to be hit with the Shell Shock from Chris Morrisette, who was then hit with a Tradition Lift from Eric Tyler, who then got hit by the Motive Twist (Spinning Impaler) by Danny Rose. Danny looked pretty pleased with himself as he stood up and found himself being the only one standing. Then Raven Nightfall got up onto the apron and her cold eyes stared straight at Danny Rose, who seemed to stop completely. He started to approach Raven Nightfall, till Sara Silver ran round and pulled Raven off the apron, but it was too late as Plague sprung to his feet and threw Danny Rose over. And then, surprising all those in attendance, Plague simply left the ring and headed to the back with Raven Nightfall! ELIMINATION 5 & 6: DANNY ROSE & PLAGUE

The four men left slowly rose to their feet in a corner of the ring each, looking from opponent to opponent. Eric Tyler then looked over to Johnny Bloodstone and nodded his head once, which Johnny Bloodstone seemed to take as a mutual understanding and charged Jack Giedroyc. However Eric Tyler didn’t budge and Johnny Bloodstone found himself going one on one with Jack as Jack rocked him with some rights. Eric Tyler seemed content to watch but Chris Morrisette wasn’t about to let that happen, and caught Eric Tyler off guard, almost DVD him over the top rope. Whilst Eric Tyler held on for dear life, Johnny Bloodstone had turned the tables and was trying to force Jack Giedroyc over the top rope. Eric Tyler got back into the ring and Hot Shotted Chris Morrisette across the ropes, and ran over, throwing Bloodstone over the top rope as Jack held on and slide back into the ring. ELIMINATION 7: JOHNNY BLOODSTONE

Eric Tyler raised his arms in arms in victory before pulling Jack Giedroyc into the ring and setting him up for a Tradition lift. But before he could Chris Morrisette hit Eric Tyler with a Shell Shock. The match finished with Jack Giedroyc and Chris Morrisette staring at each other from either side of the ring.

WINNERS: Final Three – Jack Giedroyc, Chris Morrisette & Eric Tyler

A video replay was up next, showing a video from RapidPro.com of Jacob Jett and Katie Cameron running down the card for the show, specifically mentioning that unlike a certain other couple, they wouldn’t deprive the fans of the Last Man Standing crowd, just because one fan didn’t know who they were! They highlighted the Tag Team Championship match and the women’s title match, also advertising the Number 1 Contender Women’s match which was up next!

Number 1 Contenders Match

Miss Mexico vs. Tamara McFly vs. Joanne Rodriguez vs. Raven Nightfall

http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/MissMexico.jpg vs. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/TamaraMcFly.jpg vs. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/JoanneRodriguez.jpg vs. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/RavenNightfall_alt1.jpg

These four women showed exactly the type of match a women’s division could put on, unlike USPW’s four women division or NOTBPW’s dwindling half hearted attempt. Of course the extensive amount of women’s matches on Independent shows in the area, a deliberate ploy by Phil and Nemesis, helped the match as the fans knew who the four women were, unlike a 8 months ago when this wouldn’t have gone over as well.

Raven Nightfall showcased her ability of controlling Miss Mexico at various points in the match, when she stopped Miss Mexico in her tracks from attacking her and directed her towards Joanne or Tamara. However it was Joanne Rodriguez who got the fans on her side and wom the match with a J-Rocker on Tamara McFly.

WINNER: Joanne Rodriguez

The fans were ready for the second battle royal, Art Reed, Steve Flash and Joey Minnesota the clear favourites as the bell rung just before Miseria Cantare began to play around the arena. Acid and Sammy Bach didn’t even flinch as from the entrance ramp appeared Fumihiro Ota and Plague. The other eight competitors all watched as the two came down to the ring. And then Sammy Bach and Acid went straight for Steve Flash, which ignited everyone else into action. Fumihiro Ota and Plague slide in, ignoring the ref’s attempts to stop them. They paired up with Sammy and Acid in their relentless attack on Steve Flash as the fans started booing the cowardly attack. Some of the competitors tried to intervene but were either cut off by other opponents or laid out by CotGD. Joey Minnesota was the only one who had any success in stopping the attack but that was stopped with White Mist attack from Fumihiro Ota. The four proceeded to dump a now bleeding Steve Flash over the top rope, and then followed him out. ELIMINATION 1: STEVE FLASH

RATING: C-

As the competitors in the ring continued fighting, the referee’s tried to separate CotGD from Steve Flash who were taking him towards the entrance ramp. Whilst this was happening, Ultimate Phoenix managed to back body drop Phoenix Negra out of the ring, Phoenix Negra having been a thorn in Ultimate Phoenix’s side since the bell rang, but no referee was around to see it. At the top of the ramp, a coffin was wheeled out by Acid and Plague as Fumihiro Ota hit a Ninja Strike on Steve Flash. They placed him in the casket as Emma Chase came out and seemed to receipt some sort of spell as the lights went out. When they came back on, Emma Chase, Plague, Fumihiro Ota and the coffin had gone. Sammy and Acid headed back towards the ring as did the referee’s, just in time to see Phoenix Negra eliminate Ultimate Phoenix from behind. ELIMINATION 2: ULTIMATE PHOENIX.

The Dynamic in the ring changed drastically as there was now only six in the ring, Acid and Sammy taking their time getting back. Art Reed and Joey Minnesota, both favourites in this contest found themselves surrounded by Sayeed Ali, Joss Thompson, Eddie Chandler and Phoenix Negra. Art and Joey however seemed to relish in the challenge as they went straight for anybody that moved towards them! The four heels standing little chance. Art Reed hit the Dark Matter on Phoenix Negra and then Joss Thompson as Joey hit his patented Empire Spiral on Sayeed Ali and Eddie Chandler. The two then threw Joss Thompson and Sayeed Ali out of the ring. ELIMINATION 3 & 4: JOSS THOMPSON & SAYEED ALI.

Art Reed and Joey Minnesota seemed in control, but the ever looming threat of CotGD loomed outside the ring. The odds still didn’t seem in their favour, but Ultimate Phoenix was still around to help out, as he dived back into the ring and went after Phoenix Negra. This allowed Art Reed & Joey Minnesota, who had decided teaming up was a good idea, to work on eliminating Eddie Chandler, as Phoenix Negra was taken out of the competition when he was clotheslined over the top and followed over by Ultimate Phoenix. A few seconds later and Eddie Chandler had followed Phoenix Negra out. ELIMINATION 5 & 6: PHOENIX NEGRA & EDDIE CHANDLER

Sammy Bach and Acid looked a bit surprised as they slowly re-entered the ring, perhaps not having expected to have a two on two situation. The two pairings squared off as they both attempted to get the upper hand. Sammy fighting Art and Acid taking on Joey! Art got the better of Sammy, simply out wrestling him, as Acid and Joey seemed fairly matched up. Acid would attempt to go help Sammy but would always be cut off by Joey. Art Reed got Sammy up onto his shoulders and was ready to dump Sammy over, but Acid in desperation low-blowed Joey and ran over grabbing Art, allowing Sammy Bach to land on the apron. Art Reed managed to hit Acid with a right, sending him back to Joey who hit him with an Empire Spiral. Art turned around to find Sammy slinging himself over, grabbing Art’s head with his legs and pulling Art over the top and out of the competition as he rolled back in. ELIMINATION 7: ART REED.

WINNERS: Acid, Sammy Bach & Joey Minnesota

Singles Match

Fumihiro Ota vs. Kirk Jameson

http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/FumihiroOta_alt71.jpg vs. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/KirkJameson.jpg

A Good mid match, that was an attempt to get some momentum for Fumihiro Ota as he was a late addition to the CotGD group and also an opportunity to showcase Kirk Jameson, who isn’t massively known apart from his FCW and CZCW work. At first Fumihiro Ota’s ninja style of attack caught Kirk Jameson off guard, but Kirk started to mount a comeback with his technical style. The end came when Kirk found Fumihiro Ota wiggling out of a suplex and delivering a barrage of kicks before nailing the Ninja Strike.

WINNER: Fumihiro Ota

RPW Women’s Title Match

Wanda Fish vs. Suzanne Brazzle

Unfortunately this was not as good as the number one contenders match earlier in the night from the women’s division. This was down to a mixture of Suzanne not being on her game and this match having been done quite a bit in AAA. It was a back and forth match with both getting in their reversals. However it was Wanda Fish who would be crowned the first RPW champion since it’s reincarnation as she hit Suzanne Brazzle with the Dish of the Day.

WINNER: Wanda Fish

The camera’s go backstage, where Sara Silver is standing by with the Fly Boys. James Prudence is the one to answer Sara Silver’s question with an introduction.

JP: Allow me to reintroduce The Fly Boys. I’m “Platinum” James Prudence and this is my partner, “Diamond” Don Jackman! And tonight, as so delicately and professional put by Ms. Silver here, we are fighting the New Wave for the Rapid Pro Wrestling Tag Team Titles. The New Wave, four time DAVE Tag Team Champions. The internet favourites, supposedly one of the best tag teams in the world. But DAVE is dead, meanwhile the companies we have won tag team titles in, are still around. CZCW, TCW and RPW! You’ve had you’re time New Wave, now it’s ours.

DJ: The Fly Boys are the greatest tag team in the world, period! Tag Team Titles and Singles Titles galore. I’ve held the Coastal Zone Championship and I’m a Three Time TCW Cruiserweight Champion. And my partner……………….

SS: Hasn’t had any singles titles I believe.

JP: Thanks for pointing that out. Regardless, tonight is the Fly Boys night. And tell you’re boy to grab a camera so he can film the after party of the century.

Guide and Scout didn’t seem to take to kindly to the interview that The Fly Boys gave as they were fired up from the get go, and as soon as the bell rang Guide and Scout showed why they are considered one of the best tag teams in the world. They kept Don Jackman away from his partner, with Scout stretching the former TCW Cruiserweight champion and Guide hitting the power moves. However with James Prudence taking the ref’s attention away from the match when he broke up a pinfall, Don Jackman hit a low blow on Scout and got the hot tag. James Prudence tore up the ring for awhile, only to find that the teamwork of New Wave was enough to ride the attack through. With New Wave ready to put James Prudence away, Don got the blind tag and threw Scout out the ring and hit the Death on Miami Beach on Guide to pick up the win.

Six Way Elimination Match

Chris Morrisette vs. Sammy Bach vs. Acid vs. Jack Giedroyc vs. Joey Minnesota vs. Eric Tyler

http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/LobsterWarrior_alt2.jpg vs. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/SammyBachEMO1.jpg vs. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/Acid.jpg

vs.

http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/JackGiedroyc61.jpg vs. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/JoeyMinnesota.jpg vs. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/EricTyler.jpg

Whilst the opening introductions were made and the prize for the winner of this match made clear, Sammy Bach and Acid were in a corner with Emma Chase sorting out some sort of game plan. Whilst all the competitors seemed wary of this, it was Jack Giedroyc who was vocal about it and it was Jack Giedroyc who got the match started, heading straight for the CotGD pair. Their numbers seemed of little initial use as Emma Chase made a hasty exit from the ring. Acid was initially taken out of the picture with a wicked Spinning Clothesline as Jack then went to work over Sammy Bach.

Meanwhile Eric Tyler had slide out of the ring, which was a great idea according to Phil Vibert as Joey Minnesota and Chris Morrisette locked up in the middle of the ring. What followed was a technical exchange similar to what you would North of the Border with the Stones as the fans started a “Rapid Pro” chant that echoed around the Cassell Coliseum. The two broke free, both in a fighting stance ready to continue which the crowd applauded, only to boo when Eric Tyler had slide back in and attacked Chris from behind, knocking him into Joey. Eric started to work over both of them only to get thrown out of the ring by a still seemingly enraged Jack Giedroyc.

The centre of the ring was now clear apart from The Wrath of God as Acid slide back in. Acid had now had time to prepare himself and was too quick for Jack as everything Jack tried to slow him down seemed to fail. That is until Jack hit the Crashing On from nowhere, and getting the first elimination, sending Acid to the back. Jack watched Acid go and turned into Sammy Bach who hit the Adrenaline Shot and made the pin, eliminating Jack.

Jack looked shocked as he sat up and looked over at Sammy Bach, who stared straight back at him. Jack got back up to his feet and started to approach Sammy, who didn’t notice Joey Minnesota who was behind him, who rolled him up and got the three count, eliminating Sammy.

Then all hell broke loose between the CotGD and Jack Giedroyc as Jack tackled Sammy through the ropes and the two started to brawl outside. Emma signaled to the back to get some help from the other members of the CotGD. Ota and Plague ran out and the numbers started to get too much for Jack Giedroyc, until Art Reed ran down to help him and the brawl went through the crowd and out of the arena.

Joey Minnesota watched the fight leave the arena and turned around to once again be face to face with Chris Morrisette. Joey smiled as Chris nodded and the two started to circle each other again. The two wrestled each other, with Eric Tyler trying to interject himself various times, only to be out done by either Chris or Joey, who took him out before focusing on each other again. It got to the point where they were each attempting their finishers, only to get reversed by the other, till Chris hit the Shell Shock and pinned Joey.

Joey was sent to the back by the referee who didn’t notice a hooded figure jump the guard rail with a steel pipe and slide into the ring, taking out Chris Morrisette. Eric Tyler crawled over to Chris and made the cover just as the referee turned around.

The crowd cheered as Chris Morrisette managed to kick out. Eric Tyler looked shocked as he picked Chris up, looking like he was going to go for his Tradition Lift, only for Chris to reverse it, and then Eric pushed Chris away, who stopped just before he hit the referee, holding his hands up. Then the ref tilted his head, smirked and then kicked Chris in the gut before hitting a vicious lifting variation of a DDT. Eric Tyler watched this all with satisfaction before making a very ****y cover as the fans went insane at the cheap victory.

WINNER: Eric Tyler

RATING: A

Eric Tyler got to his feet as he looked at the referee and hugged him, the hooded figure sliding back into the ring as well. The two accomplices to Eric’s stolen victory raised Eric Tyler’s hands as the Pay Per View Highlight package started to play.

23:00 Last Man Standing After Party

“I’ll hurt you” by Busta Rhymes blasted out of the stereo system set up in a convention room in the Cassell Coliseum. The celebration party had kicked off after the show had come to an end, as nearly the whole roster attended and was in good spirits. The only absences were Joshua Taylor, Phoenix Negra and Acid. The first two having to get planes to Japan and Mexico respectively!

DR: I should slap that stupid mask off his face next time I see him.

Danny Rose was complaining to anyone that would listen about Acid’s absence. After all this was their first televised event, and Danny Rose felt they had a lot to celebrate, as a team and a collective unit.

PV: You’re the booker, you’re the one who has to do something about it.

DR: I told you what I’m going to do, if he thinks just because he’s talented I’m going to let that kind of crap fly, he’s got another thing coming. Hell, it’s not like his gimmick is even fresh anymore.

Phil Vibert smiled, part of him not regretting his decision to pass the book to someone else instead of taking it himself. The most fun he had during DAVE’s run was when he let Nemesis take the book. And whilst he always kept himself involved, he liked being the owner and not the booker.

N: Better put you’re foot down early kid, you’re the youngest guy in this locker room. You’re going to get tested early on. Just because you have some good ideas don’t mean you have their respect yet.

DR: I need a drink!

Danny Rose walked from the two masterminds of wrestling and headed straight for the bar, slinking his way through the trio of Jacob Jett, Mainstream Hernandez and Trent Shaffer who were all trying to impress the female wrestlers with their dances moves. Sara Marie York and Katie Cameron looked slightly impressed, Wanda Fish, Miss Mexico and Raven didn’t seem to care and the others fell somewhere in between.

Rose slipped in between Joey Minnesota and Ultimate Phoenix, perhaps the only two other people in the place not on a high after the show. Both were very different individuals, but where down for the same reason. Both felt they hadn’t put on their best showing on their RPW televised debuts. Joey thinks he’s the best, and therefore should put on his best showing, every time he steps into the ring. Ultimate Phoenix knows he’s not the best in the world, but aspires to be the best he can and knows when he hasn’t done as well as he is capable of. And all though neither would usually spend time with each other, Joey being a lot more ****y than Phoenix, right now they were like two peas in a pod.

DR: Why can’t Acid be like you Phoenix, a proper luchador, with some respect.

Danny Rose didn’t notice his surroundings and carried on blabbing. He wasn’t drunk but he seemed in a world of his own. What was important was Acid, not the show and how good it was, not that Ultimate Phoenix and Joey were upset with their performance and not that Sara Silver had just offered him a drink, and he’d completely ignored her.

JM: Just call him, then perhaps you can let it go and tell me what the plan is for me.

DR: Good idea…………

Danny took out his mobile and dialled Acid’s number. He put the phone to his ear as Phoenix and Joey looked at him.

DR: Taylor…………..hope you got some money in you’re account. Because I’m not putting any in there!

Danny hung up and smiled as he took a swig from his glass. Nobody had told the bar staff that Danny was 18, and he was enjoying the benefits of it being a private party.

UP: Bit harsh!

DR: Got to put you’re foot down.

Danny smiled, as if the world had been taken off his shoulders as he walked away.

JM: How the hell did he get the head booker position?

Ultimate Phoenix shrugged.

13:30 New York Cafe August 2007

http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/RFJ251.jpghttp://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/Nemesis_alt1.jpghttp://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww88/Motive09/RPW/JonRose.jpg

RC: Just meet him daddy! He knows what he’s talking about!

N: He’s 17 years old, how is he going to know anything about the wrestling business.

Rebecca Campbell, youngest sibling of John Campbell, pulled her daddy into the café where her current boyfriend was waiting. Nemesis hated the idea of his youngest having any adolescent teenager in her life. Let alone a wrestling one!

RC: He’s booked a few shows for USPW, and you said you and Uncle Phil wanted a young mind to be behind Rapid.

N: I think we were thinking more along the lines of Mean Jean Cattley young, not has only wrestled two years young.

RC: Just give him a chance.

The two reached the table, were USPW Television Champion Danny Rose was sitting, eating the biggest burger he could order. Danny stood up, bit of ketchup on his chin as he held out his hand to Nemesis.

DR: Hi, I’m Danny Rose.

N: I know who you are.

DR: Cool, so I have the job!

Danny sat back down as the others joined him.

N: That would be up to Phil, but I’m not introducing you to him if I don’t believe you’ve got what it takes. And right now, I don’t care if you made USPW a bit hip for a few shows. I’m not impressed, so you’ve got till I order and eat my food to change my mind.

Nemesis smirked, pretty confident in the fact that he’d soon be able to turn this kid down, enjoy a decent meal and go back to Phil, saying he still fully backed Mean Jean Cattley for the position, and if not Mean Jean, then Carl Batch or Farrah Hesketh.

Instead what happened was Danny pulled out a notebook, seemingly from nowhere, and opened it up at the first page, entitled “The First Three Months of RPW!”

DR: This is what I’ve got so far, and I’m sure Phil will like it when he sees it too!
